I bought a used vehicle with 114,000 km and got a set of winter tyres free. Had to take the vehicle back the next day due to engine check light and accelerator pedal stop responding while driving. Also, there was an oil leak on the rear axle. I was given a rental car at no cost. The next day I was called to pick up my vehicle as the repairs were completed. I did and after driving about 1 mile, the accelerator pedal stopped responding again. So I took the vehicle back again. I was again given a rental car at no cost to me. The vehicle was kept for one week. The battery was replaced. Now, I picked up the vehicle again, drove home and parked for 5 days. On day 6, after driving for about 5 miles, the accelerator pedal again stop responding. Everytime the accelerator pedal stops responding, I would have to safely pull over, shift in park and switch the engine off. Restart the engine and the pedal works fine. My greatest fear is if this problem should occur on the highway. So far, the staff has been very responsive, Roxanne, Chloe and Mr. Stephan are great. I hope Dupont Ford would be able to identify and solve the problem.

Very dishonest in selling winter tires, I was quoted with $1545 plus taxes for Goodyear or equivalent tires. Last Saturday: Uniroyal tiger and paws tires were installed, and I was told they were equivalent to Goodyear. I said it couldn't be the same price, they said they will check later. 2 days after: Told me there was only $80 difference in total for all 4 tires between the two brands. They could refund $80 and I refused. Today: Finally changed to Goodyear tires but told me they never offered me Goodyear in the beginning, they had the tires changed only to do me a favour. I will remove the review if anyone thinks it's fair to pay $1545 plus taxes for Uniroyal tiger and paws tires or there's only $80 difference between Uniroyal and Goodyear.

Went there to order simple clips for my Focus EV. It took about 5 minutes for someone to even show up at the counter. The technician insited on selecting a 4 door gas sedan in the part system, then could not find the parts. I insisted yoy need to select an electric car he then asked that I get the serial number. I just lost patience and will go to another instead.

Worst buyers experience ever never in my life have I felt so pressured into purchasing a vachicle in my life we were invited to a vip "event" with no deals then basically laughed at for being serious about our budget and what kind of vehicle we were looking for after big there for 3+ hours with a very pushy salesman I had to demand our keys back to leave and was Givin a dirty handshake then my gf cell phone was bombarded with phine calls and texts from the personal cell phone number of the manager never again will I return to this place

Very unfortunate experience. Purchased a vehicle advertised as tow-ready, only to find out that the light connector did not work. Called to have it looked at and was told it was not covered under the warranty. I understand that warranty does not cover everything, but feel that I did not purchase what was advertised. Essentially, was told "tough luck" as conversations to correct the issue went around in circles. Will have it taken somewhere else to be fixed. Lesson learned.

I put a $500 "holding" deposit on a car then backed out of the deal the next day. They did not want to refund my credit card by phone or fax, so I had to drive 1.5 hours just to collect my refund. Before doing this, I spoke to the manager on the phone for a solution and told him I can accept their unusual policy but it should have been made clear to me when I put the deposit down in the first place, especially since the sales guy knows I live far away. The manager said he would offer a compensation, which is fair but of course when I arrived, nothing was offered.

After 2 he urs I went ans was told they were just making a new key(the buttons on the old key no longer worked) and it should be another 10 minutes. It was, but if there is a delay then the person should be told...not wait without information

I had broken down in Gatineau park South area and was late. I had it towed to this location and I am sure glad I did! Once I arrived lucky for me there was a worker just coming out the door and he was awesome and assisted me right till the end when I put my key in the drop box. Early the next day I had a call about my van and then explain the situation. Later on same day a call back to say what was wrong with the van with the plan that the parts would follow the next day and start the process. The Best wishes came true cause not only did they get my parts but same day fixed me up and on my travel I go!!!!! I am one happy #vanlifer ! This place was amazing ???? to help me !

Was interested in buying a used vehicle from here. Twice, the salesperson just stopped returning emails with us. They not only wouldn't budge on their ticket price but actually took it upon themselves to ADD a package I didn't need or want. When I questioned the price, they said they had already come down in price 1500$ however this is what they were giving me for trade in, not what they came down in price. Then they stopped talking to us again. Update: to respond to the GM This is false and clearly a statement to try to negate my complaint. In actual fact, I sent zero emails. I only had an online chat with two of your staff on the same night in regards to the poor service we got when corresponding with your salespeople who frequently told us they'd contact us 'after lunch' or 'after the weekend' and never would. My husband is the one who corresponded through emails and telephone regarding sale and they were all business. And we also have these emails to prove it. Hardly disturbing as you say. The price adjustments? The only price adjustments you gave was calculating the price of the vehicle after trade in and then adding a 500$ package for e-testing. We knew what our top offer was and with two small children, sitting down with your staff for an hour so they can explain what was already explained over the phone and emails wouldn't have made a difference except to cause a disturbance in your establishment due to crying babies. We assumed the deal was dead however after a few days, someone there emailed us again asking what we were thinking so yes, we told them what we were willing to pay. Which was under your 'final offer' (list price). And according to your website, your list price has now increased. Anyhow, I stand by my review. Will not purchase a vehicle from here and will not recommend to anyone. Goodluck

Was about to do buisness here, then at signing i noticed a 499$ garage fee. I asked what this charge was and was told it was to pay the ladies upstairs. I fell out of my chair and landed at a dealer in Ottawa thank god where the price is the price. NO BS fee hidden in contract...hope this helps someone.

Worst experience ever & I've been car "serviced" for many years. My Ford Taurus had to be towed there 2 days before my "scheduled" appointment for repairs because my car wouldn't start. Had to wait a week for that "one" appointment !!! Car didn't even last that long. They were too busy with car changing season !!! Then, I had to wait for 2 days to get news of "repairs" and keep calling, calling, calling ! Just plain awful service and car isn't repaired after over 200$ of their staring at it !!! They can't understand what they call an "internittent" problem which they experienced also !!! The car just doesn't start here & there ! I paid for a car not getting repaired, lost 2 days of work and now what ? Never again with this place ! Is there something less then 1 star ???

I use this place all the time for service. I also bought a truck there. Service is good, sometimes long to get an appoitment, but will fit you in if urgent. Prices are pretty good for a dealer. The sales side was good as well. I bought thee years ago, but many of the sales staff are still there, which is somewhat of an indicator that things are good there. The fellow I dealt with was not pushy, easy to talk to and knowlegable.

I bought my 2015 Ford Focus back in December and have never had such a great experience in buying a car. The sales staff and manager went above and beyond for me and above all, were courteous and friendly. Last week was my first scheduled maintenance and tire change and I was not disappointed. The sales staff, in particular Christian Joanisse was very friendly , polite, respectful and professional. My car was even ready before the time he told me it was going to be ready! my family and i have bought over 8 vehicles in the past five years from them sales guys are amazing and Ryan have provides great customer services. however the service department is one of the worst customer service i have ever came across (worst then ministry of transportation) . lies lack of respect of time, rude especially if your not french. and to make things worst you have to make 3 or 4 visits to fix a simple prob. i can write an essay on my disappointing services just this year. did i mention it takes over 5 hours to do a schedule oil change with appointment just to still have old parts. this place should be illegal

I found my vehicule online, since I live pretty far from Gatineau. I called the dealer, we set up every details and agreed, even asked an email to confirm. When i got there after a 5 hour drive the the 1500$ LT tires with mountain and snowflake were switched with cheaper tires that are not good for winter. When i asked they said they could not do the switch since it was weekend.

My husband has been trying to book an appointment to change our tires for weeks and has had zero acknowledgement or response from the Dealer. Terrible post sales service. Patrick provided an excellent service, he took the time to explain everything to me in the buying process, he took notes of all my requests regarding the delivery; and on the day I took possession of the car, everything was exactly how I asked. Patrick kept me posted on every step from the time I bought the car and the time it was delivered to me. He was very patient, professional and helpful. I also had a great experience with the commercial manager, Paul Ste-Croix who took care of the financial aspect of the process. He explained every details and answer all my questions. He is very knowledgeable. I recommend this place to anybody who would like to have a wonderful experience in the purchase of a car. And ask for Patrick Pichette for a 5 star customer service.

During my last tire rotation they totally ruined all four nuts on my front left wheel. Wrong socket on a powerful tool, it happens I get it. The thing is when I complained instead of resolving this small issue, some manager tried to persuade me the wheel nuts were damaged due to normal wear and tear which is ridiculous. They look visibly damaged not worn out. Besides, what is the math possibility that out of 16 nuts on 4 wheels, all four "worn out" nuts are on one single wheel and the remaining 12 nuts on the rest of the wheels are totally fine?? No chance. It's nonsense. Since I am going through a very tough period on a personal level I just didn't have the energy to argue so I turned around and left. It's better to write your story like this, in public. I know they don't care, but I am never coming back to Dupont again, even though I bought my car over there and have been maintaining it for years at their service shop as a loyal customer. Thank you.

***BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE*** this dealership has a no care attitude when they are comfronted with an issue... I went to look at a used car, test drived it was interested, when we started negotiating with the salesman he advised us that the car was "as is" so before going any further we negotiated the safety check he talked to the manager and the respond we got was that yes they can do the safety unless its a 2000$ cost, so we agreed on a price safetied and shook hands, when the saleman called us back he says the safety cost 400$ if we would be able to pay 100$ to make the deal, Im like didn't we agree safetied i shouldnt have to pay nothing, his response was would be too bad if we have to cancel a sale for a 100$, so he said he would talk to the manager and get back to me, when he called back hes like we would need 250$ to complete the transaction, so i said no.... the next morning i called the manager which had the same attitude as the salesman wich turns out that he removed the small discount (500$) that the salesman gave us and added the whole cost of the safety check (580$) after thinking about it i called the manager and told him that i wasn't satified that i would like to cancel the transaction and get my deposit back, he just ok'd it.... they are knowed to inpose extra cost to the client anyways very bad customer service on my part will never recommend them

I brought the car in for a check engine light and issues with the transmission. I had checked the engine light issue and found the oxygen sensors needed to be replaced. You told me the catalytic converter had to be replaced. I also mentioned problem with the transmission being clunky when downshifting and going from drive to reverse. Cons: 1. You didn't tell me the catalytic converter replacement was a recall. I found out when I saw the work order. 2. I mentioned a problem with the transmission but you didn't include that information on the work order. You said it was not mentioned because you did not find any issues with it when you tested it. You said you would include the info if/when I brought it in again for the same problem AND I was close to the 100k km limit. Well, guess what? I went on a 4k km trip and experienced the problem several times. Now I have to bring it back in for another checkout. This puts me out because I have to leave the vehicle in your shop so that you can do another test, meaning I will be out my car for another day...hoping you will experience the same problem and fix it. PROS: Other than that, you staff is always very friendly and you did return the car when you said you would. OVERALL: I wish I you would have been more upfront about the recall issue and would have at least included the transmission issue in the work order. These 2 issues leave me with doubts about your honesty. So far, I enjoy my car and was thinking about possibly upgrading to a Flex but wonder if I should look for another dealership or a different car manufacturer altogether. Was this was a simple oversight or is it is a company wide directive to deal with possible problematic issues with the product without taking any responsibility? Update: Now that warranty is over, you found issues I asked to check in the past for which you told everything was fine. I will never buy another vehicle from Dupont Ford.

I was and still am currently looking for a truck but decided to go here about 2.5 weeks ago. This truck was needed as a work vehicle so time was important as I needed to work ! I understand that my credit situation wasn’t easiest to deal with but without sharing too much detail It took two weeks to figure anything out and by the end of it I was told there was nothing that could be done for me after stringing me along for two weeks. On top of that this is what I was told before they received the documents required. I m kind of confused at the lack of communication, professionalism, explanation and wonder why they were so efficient at wasting my time. It was like they just don’t care about their client and are not willing at all to help. Confused and surprised ! why so sketch people ? Just be transparent at some point? Be real honest. Got a bad taste in my mouth now
