I messaged to ask if I could test drive a car, they quickly responded asking when I could come and we arranged a time. When I got there (after a 40 minute drive), I was told that the car had sold already and that they messaged me about it an hour ago. Turns out the message was never sent to me (and an hour isn’t much warning either). Luckily, they had a similar car for sale that I could check out. I was handed the keys and was about to pull out of the lot when I was told that you can only test drive the car if you would commit to buying the car the same day. This was a total waste of time. I get that with COVID-19 there’s extra labour to keep the cars clean, but ffs let me drive the thing before asking me to commit to $25000 ????

We drove 40 mins to test drive a car. Like all second hand automobile purchases, I had done my research for common problems and key elements to look into prior to purchase; and everything came out top notch. Vehicle history was good, minor accident from the previous owner, nothing to write home about. Julien was very professional and supportive months after my purchase. Every issue that came up was dealt with at no cost. Even the Mercedes dealership offered no cost repairs. Nothing but good dealings with him. I recently purchased a 2011 Subaru Outback from Automobiles Carrera. I was looking for a vehicle within a specific price point and particularly a Subaru Outback between 2008-2012. I dealt with Julien. I waited to write my review after taking ownership of the car and having an opportunity to put approximately 1000km's on the vehicle. Price was very reasonable and Julien was very quick to have the vehicle prepared and ready for pickup. I have had no surprises with the vehicle and do not feel that any information was omitted or hidden with regards to the condition of the vehicle. Minor issues were picked up on the safety and corrected as expected. I would recommend and certainly do business again with Julien and Automobiles Carrera.

Bought our 2016 Mercedes here. Initially, was quite happy but then realized that the odometer was set to miles not KM. I thought I was buying a car with 32K not 51.2K! We made an agreement for me to keep the car (small amount back and a second set of keys).
