Needed a car in a small town and this firm offered an excellent option. Not opened on the weekends required somewhat a change of plans but within bounds of convenience. I'd advise to book ahead on-line as their limited supply of cars would make it difficult to acquire one. Overall the service was good and friendly and most importantly prompt.

We have rented 3 seperate occasions now and all 3 times we have had exceptional customer service and fantastic vehicles to drive. We have had a free upgrade just because the specific car we had REQUESTED wasn't available but that was just a request not a guarantee but they still free upgraded! We have done weekends and weekday rentals and every time they all work out great! Also, it is AMAZING that you can leave a debit deposit for someone like myself that doesn't have a credit card!

Not a fun experience. After a small accident in the middle of winter left me without a car, ICBC set me up with this enterprise. The first attempt at getting my rental car was not smooth but I managed - the rep from head Surrey location had some of my details wrong and told them a different time of my arrival (only by an hour) so when I got there they didn't have a car for me. Totally fine. The roads were crazy bad, some of their cars weren't back in yet, etc, I understood. They drove me to school, then to work, then back to enterprise to get a car that evening before my next class. All good. I returned that car a couple days later as I was going out of town for work for 4 days and didn't want to waste my coverage on something I wasn't using. They understood and told me just to give them a call when I was back to set up a new contract and get another car. Awesome! So I call Monday morning to see what I can get now that I'm back, and they wouldn't have anything until the later afternoon, then which I would be working so we decided on a time the next morning for me to come in. We both knew I was coming at 9am on Tuesday morning - sidenote they open at 8am. I get there and they don't have any cars. Why not call me and let me know that before I find myself all the way down there... So now yet again they must drive me around - which I am thankful for - but is it really necessary? I have a very busy schedule and what is a service to help provide for people kind of just turned into quite the hindrance.

I have rented from several different Enterprise locations in the Metro Vancouver area, and this location is hands down the best service. I rent a car about two times a year for road trips and it was always a cause of anxiety because there always seemed to be some kind of issue. The first time I rented from this location I was in and out in five minutes. I even said, “That’s it!? Why was this so easy!??” The staff is fast and friendly and don’t want to waste your time. As someone who can get stressed out easily I am so happy I have started using this location, I’ll never go to another again!

Okay, in my opinion, these guys are really good. I was really scared to rent a car from them after reading all the bad reviews. But honestly, they are professional and fantastic. I rented a car from them, at the time of renting I didn't notice a rock chip on the glass. And I took the car. But within 20 minutes my friend saw that, and I went back to report that. I mean if they were dishonest they could just simply blame me and say oh we don't know it's you that did it. But instead, they checked it and gave me another car. The second time I rented the car and dropped it in Vancouver. This time the car had only one key and at the time of renting they informed me to tell that to the drop off location. At the time of the drop, I thought maybe that branch staff we double-check it. But they were like no problem we know it! In my experience, I could see professionalism and honesty in both of these branches. The only reason I give 4.5 is because of the website. On the website, it will show some other car and at the time when we reach the branch, they won't be having that. So it's a small bummer for me. The rest is really good.

Both my insurance and I asked for a vehicle with snow tires cause I commute alot they (enterprise) promised to have one ready for me which they never fulfill. Car went into the shop after a minor accident during an icy week in Edmonton. Insurance company set me up with enterprise rent a car, staff were friendly but most of the cars were out on loan leaving me with a vw beetle as the only option. I wanted a sedan so I was reluctant to take the beetle. Upon returning the car I told Albert my rental agent my experience and he offered me a discount on my next rental car with enterprise. The fact that Albert acknowledged my issue and offered to make things right to improve my customer service experience shows that this location cares about their customers' needs and satisfaction.

Absolutley terrible Enterprise location. I am a long time Enterprise/National customer that rents frequently for work (traveling sales) and I have been let down here on many, many occasions. My company is based in Quebec and insists on using Enterprise as they have great service in the East. But this is not the case in Kamloops. As I type this, I was just hung up on by an employee (Sebastian) who just kept repeating "see you tomorrow morning" over and over when I was asking if my vehicle would be ready. It was explained to me by the another employee there (young guy) That "here in Kamloops people don't respect Enterprise so why should we respect them?". This was his response to my question about why they never have the reserved vehicle in stock. I have decided to move my business to Budget on Notre Dame as my wife's company uses their services and has nothing but great things to say. “We’ll pick you up!” Within a very limited radius that does not include the city limits. And we won’t tell you that until you get here. We also don’t have a clear grasp on the amount of time it takes to shuttle a customer from our Woodlawn location to the Eramosa Rd area (less than 15 minutes if you know how to drive a car.) Reserved a Jeep 2 weeks in advance because I needed a 4x4 with good clearance for a fishing trip, got there and they didn’t have any jeeps only options they gave me was a ford edge or a pickup truck. Ford edge too low and pick up too big and expensive on gas so now I will take my car on the trip. What a complete waste of my time and inconvenience as I am running late for my trip now and may not make it without a 4x4. Rented from enterprise many times before and this is the first horrible experience I have had. They could have at least offered some compensation like a lower rate for the truck. Never will rent from enterprise again.

I am not sure that a review can capture the outstanding service provided by the guys at Enterprise. We were on our way from Michigan to Toronto for a flight to the UK when our car broke down. We were so stressed that we would not make our flight. We called Enterprise and there were several guys actually waiting outside for us when we arrived. I was ushered inside where the representative processed me in record time. With five of us and luggage we needed a bigger car and a large minivan was waiting for us. In the meantime, two guys helped my husband transfer all of our luggage into the rental van. They even offered my children water bottles and snacks. Given that we were in such a rush, I couldn't believe how fast they worked to get us on our way. We would never have made our flight without them. Best customer service we have ever had in our lives. I have been a customer of Enterprise Rent-a car in the past, and I can fully assure you that will never be the case again. On the first day of April 2020 (20/4/1) I rented a vehicle from your Kamloops British Columbia location on Victoria St. The vehicle I reserved was not available at the time I arrived for pick-up and I was informed I would be given a Subaru Forester at an uncharge to me. If I have reserved a certain type of vehicle, at an advertised price I should reasonable expect that vehicle to made available. If your company is not to prepared to have the reserved vehicle on location at the time of pickup, any discrepancies in charges from the reservation made that are present, then those should be born by the company for not being in position to adequately furnish the rental agreement as reserved. At the time of rental during the original walk around inspection your location agent verbally commented on the fact that the windshield was cracked from the bottom centre. The crack began at the bottom centre of the windscreen and extended up and to the left into the glass by approximately 27 cm (10"). Your customer representative made the comment verbally 'the windshield is on us', then proceeded to complete the walk around and have me sign out the vehicle. Upon returning the vehicle on the ninth day of April 2020 (20/4/9) the cracked windshield was brought up by the check-in agent. When I told him the agent verbally acknowledged the damaged glass at time of check-out, he informed me he would need to speak with the agent prior to completing the check-in. Once the agent was back in from doing a walk around with a young woman renting a vehicle, he checked with the rental agreement and noted that the damaged windscreen was not noted. He proceeded to tell me that he is a professional and would not have missed such damage or recording it on the rental agreement. The fact of the matter is that the damage was not missed at all, he verbally made note of it then failed to record it on the check-out. Furthermore he stated it is not recorded in the main system as a damage known to the vehicle, which states that either it was missed on previous check-ins, or more likely that this is a company sanctioned consumer fraud to charge multiple customers for previously damaged vehicles. I followed up on the ninth of April with customer service in Las Cruces, NM over the phone to lodge a formal complaint against the Victoria St. Kamloops location and it’s staff & management assured that my concerns had been elevated and I would be contacted very shortly for follow-up. To this date I have had no follow-up from your company in any form whatsoever. I have been furnished with a letter from the claims department in Toronto and have tried to call the number that is included on your company stationery only to be informed that the number dialled is not in service. I will be contacting the address in Toronto from your letterhead, the location of concern and Corporate Holdings in Scarborough and St. Louis. I will take a further claim to my representative and will possibly consider paying for damage I had no hand in doing to your vehicle, once I have confirmation that your company no longer considers lying, consumer fraud and complete disregard of customer support and contact among it’s core business practises. Staff and management of the various branches (Claims, Customer Service, Kamloops Victoria Street) have been fully reprimanded and instructed to cease lying on behalf of Enterprise Rent-a car, willful omissions from company documents, and not following through on promise of follow-up. In the future I will never be a customer of Enterprise Rent-a car and will do my best to ensure all customers video record their rental transactions to protect themselves from the predatory nature with which your company & staff conduct themselves when dealing with paying customers. Hi pressure to take the extra insurance and didnt even get a car that was washed or with a full tank. Watch your rental times. Was connected to Enterprise through Guelph VW. Had the rental car for 26 hours. Charged for two days even after I returned the car to Enterprise with way more fuel than I started with and direct to their store instead of at the dealership so they didnt have to shuttle it. No concession at all from Enterprise. I wont be back.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. I had to rent a car from them while mine was getting fixed because someone else hit me. They will give you a car and not honesty record damage, only if YOU notice it. If not, that's how they get you. I don't know much about cars unfortunaly, so I trusted them to help and guild me, instead they saw the opportunity to take advantage of me. They are charging me in the thousands for a bump I didn't do. I only drove it to drop family members off to work. They then told me that it was my responsibility to have made sure that there was no damage before signing the papers. They got a whole new bumper and paint job on my expense....nice enterprise....good job at not being honest and taking advantage of people. Never again will I deal with them. And they will probably write a note at the bottom of your review asking if they can do anything to help....yet another lie ...

Needed a rental after an accident. I was provided an undersized car with wiper blades that reduced visibility and does not feel safe for highway commuting. When I came to the office to exchange the rental at 1:45pm on a Wednesday there was no one in the building and all lights were off. Hours of operation are 8:00-5:00 but the office hours are clearly not accurate as no one is actually working here on a Wednesday afternoon. Very upset with both the quality of the vehicles and the quality of the customer service.

I had booked a car for 9 days weeks in advance for 10:00 Am. I had to pick someone up from the airport so the time was pretty important. The car was 30 minutes late and when I kept asking where it was I was told " its off being cleaned". Eventually I was told my car was ready and they took me to a car that I was sitting next to for the past 30 minutes (not away being cleaned at all). I was then gave the lady my credit card and she said so that'll be 800 dollars (over double the price we agreed upon when I booked). I asked why it was so high and she explained it was 200 dollars in case of damages which ill get back ,300 dollars for the rental and the rest is tax and fees. I asked 'what fees'? ..... " just standard fees and I've already swiped your card". In a rush I had to get to the airport as I was late. so I called later that day asking what theses fees were. I was told it was for a mandatory damage waiver, when I confronted the man on the phone saying the website states that it is optional and he should have told me about it in store. He stated that it is mandatory for British persons to have this cover in Canada. I eventually went into a different branch and spoke to someone helpful in Banff, and with a couple clicks on his computer the fees had disappeared. Overall the car was fine and the eventual cost was okay but the service from this particular branch was very difficult.

Just the Worst! First, I am told they will drop off the Truck at the auto body shop at 9:00 AM. I am there at 9 AM and wait, then, i am told they will be sending someone to pick me up but they can't even leave for 15 min or so. it is a 20 min drive to St. Albert. I finally get there, fill out the paper work and they don't even have a vehicle for me and three other upset customers! they put us in a van and drive us back to Edmonton to a parking lot and try to put me in a little 4 seat car! There are 5 in my family! i explained this many times.... Finally after an hour and a half, i just said give me what ever you have. Poor Service, Poor planing, Do not rent here!

I got a rental from Enterprise on Monday, a tiny car nothing comparable to what I need. The guy said I could take the Fiesta overnight and they'd have another car available to me the next day. It's now been 6 days and I'm still stuck in this car. I called yesterday to express my disappointment and advise that I NEED something bigger, he said he'd call me back and never did. I'm so beyond frustrated with Enterprise. I've always gone with Budget and never had any troubles. This time it was done through icbc so I take what they offer and it's been such a headache. I would never go with Enterprise again.

Obe and Donna at the Medicine Hat location are understanding, polite, friendly, professional, helpful, patient and have outstanding demeanors. Wonderful service and staff here. We picked up our rental in St. Catharines for a trip to Chicago. There was such a terrible noise coming from the inside of this car, we couldn’t stand it. So we called the Sarnia Enterprise to ask about a switch. They told us to come on in, switched up the vehicle to a similar model and we were out in about 10 minutes. No questions asked! We will definitely use and recommend Enterprise in the future! Great location in Sarnia!

My first poor experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Online we requested a pick up truck and when we were on our way to pick up we called to let them know we'd be a few minutes late to which we were told to our surprise that the vehicle we had requested was not actually available and instead they offered us a car. We were moving a bed and could not do that in a car. Thankfully, they were able to give us a different vehicle that was able to move a bed the following day but we were very disappointed to find out that they did not call us sooner and offered us a small vehicle instead. Having a background in sales I was surprised that they did not call us or asked us what the vehicle was for. In the future I will most likely book through an Edmonton location that I have gone through a number of times and have never had issues with.

I had the worst experience with them, absolutely horrible, I 100% would say stay away from here! I booked car with them in the morning, 3 hours later i go to pick it up, the clerk tells me "oh ya I was gonna call you, we don't have a car". So I took a $40 cab there only to find out there is no car!!! no apology, no let me find you a car, nothing!!!! I told him I want to speak to the manager, he took my number to get him to call me! Im still waiting for the call, worst most unprofessional service ever! I WILL NEVER use them again and am so disappointed that didn't even a call or anything, what a waste of time! Im getting married next week and needed the car for all my running around, thanks for adding way more stress to my life Enterprise!

Rented a car from this location (agreement #210419 and ref# 7P60W5) but when I returned it to the Airport location, they overcharged me for refueling. It's been three weeks and despite two voice mails with head office and two calls to the New West location, I still have yet to see my promised refund. This is not only extremely bad customer service but the process of following up, submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, and even writing this needed review is cutting into my vacation time!!!

I would put 0 stars. I called all rental companies and this was the only one who took debit, but mind you they had a'lot of proof required before rental, which I had and was happy to supply, so the lady on the phone confirmed and made my booking. I call the office to confirm and I get passed to 2 different employee's before speaking to their assistant manager "Rav". First off he had absolutely no clue what the requirements for a debit rental pertained to, and seemed confused. I explained to him how his own company worked and the requirements to rent with debit as per the customer service dept and the lady who booked my car. So he puts me on hold, and gets this list of "new" requirements that completely mismatch from what I was told and what I was literally reading from their website, and when I asked him where he was pulling this information from he wanted to put me back on hold, so I hung up and called corporate. This place is a disgrace. I will be missing a flight in Kelowna due to this company. And in the end I still have all documents required, but how convenient that there debit machine now just broke.

The employees are extremely inexperienced. An employee told me to keep the vehicle for additional days at no charge. I later find out that the employee got fired for distributing misinformation to customers and we all got overcharged. I literally spent 3 months battling a dispute with this branch and corporate just for someone to laugh in my face and tell me "its not happenin". I also filed a total of 6 disputes and when I'd call back to inquire about it, it wasn't even registered in the system. Dont waste your money or energy on this place.

The customer service rep just told me 'we are completely sold out' and 'we have a 20 person waiting list'. Go to National car rental instead.

I have only rented from Enterprise once so far. They were extremely helpful, and their price was literally A FRACTION of their competitors' price. I had reserved for 2 days; near the end of the 2nd day I telephoned from my motel room and asked if I could keep the car. Not only did they say "yes" but since my new return date fell on a day they weren't open, I was permitted to keep the car until the next business day without paying for that extra day. It was sort of like, "Since the customer is making herself available to return the car at a time when we are not there to assist her, we will not fault her and ask for more money." When I congratulated them on all-around excellent service at the time of the car's drop off, they blushed and were really very modest and said that it was the right thing to do, nothing more. I dealt with Sham at drop off, and he was great, but also the attractive woman who took me out to my car initially on pick-up day was extremely courteous & friendly as well. I will be a return customer and have already planned out a few more dates I will be using them again. Tomorrow is one actually, as long as when I call back at 5:30 they do have a car available for tomorrow as right now there are NONE available. I'd say that is a sign of good business sense, on their part. ;)

I rented a car from Enterprise - New Westminster, BC in Nov 2015. There was no windshield wiper fluid in the car which I only figured out while driving up the Coquihalla summit in foul weather, putting everyone in the car in physical risk of an accident. I do not understand why they rent out vehicles without checking fluid levels. I was forced stop off in Merritt, BC to purchase a full jug of wiper fluid and pour it into the empty reservoir; I have the receipt for it. When I inquired about it to the manager they said that they rely on dashboard indicators to see if the vehicle needs service. Yet the dashboard of the car I rented did not have such indicator (I took a photo of the dashboard to record my km) Then as I was about to drive out of Merrit I got a flat tire. After putting on the spare I had to take a two hour low speed detour to Kelowna, BC to switch the car at the Enterprise Airport location for another one. It was the only location that was open and had cars available (a positive: their Roadside Assistance Rep helped us in contacting them). Yet before I drove off with the new car I opened up the hood to check the windshield wiper fluid and this one just had a few sprays left ; this seems to be a common oversight with Enterprise and one day could result in a serious accident and liability. The New Westminster Enterprise Manager although apologetic has yet to reconcile this issue with me. I've talked him several times but it he's not following up. So I am posting my experience to warn others that Enterprise needs to do a better job in following up with post-rental service issues. Before you drive out of their lot check all fluid levels and check if the car lights work; I rented from them before and one of the headlights was out; I'm lucky a cop didn't pull me over and give me a ticket.

Our vehicle had broken down near Weyburn. There are no car rentals in Weyburn, so we hired a taxi to take us to Moose Jaw. The nice people at Enterprise booked us a car over the phone. My husband and I rented a car (Dodge Durango) for our 4- day trip in Ontario last weekend with our 3 kids (11, 4, and 2-month old). What I really like about our renting experience is the car itself. It was a smooth car, had no exterior damages, and was very easy to maneuver. In addition, it was spacious as expected. What made us disappointed comprises the following: 1. TIMING- The car was not there on time. We reserved to pick- up the car in St. Eustache (we arrived there @ 11:45) and the car was not there. One of their employees had to drive my husband to ENTERPRISE Laval and pick- up the car from there. We ended up leaving our place @ 15:15, which made us behind our timeline. 2. CLEANLINESS- As we were packing the car with our things, we noticed that the car was not cleaned. There were McDonald's burger wrappers (around 3 of them) and candies under the 3rd- row sitting. This was a very big deal for me as we are in a PANDEMIC crisis and the company itself advertises there COMPLETE CLEAN PLEDGE. There was no cleaning done in our car. We had to do the cleaning ourselves. And, having a 2-month-old child with us stressed me like crazy. We communicated with the company about our issues. And, I would like to acknowledge the approach of the district manager as he was very apologetic about what happened and gave us a compensation.

When I asked clearly that all expenses would be covered by Kirmac and my Insurance, they said yes. I signed a contract to take possession and used my cc 'as a deposit' . Having to still do a deposit when going through insurance. If there is an issue or some kind of charge, charge it to the insurance company who can then charge their client... not being able to do this deposit then made it so I couldn't receive a "like type" vehicle to what I drive, like i am supposed to receive as paid to my insurance... luckily the car was really nice and I enjoyed it probably more than any SUV I saw on their lot.

My first impression of this company was positive, I had received great customer service over the phone and I was under the impression that everything was set up and I would have a rental for the week while my car is in the shop. However, once I got there I was asked questions about my insurance policy that were not even mentioned to me once over the phone and this resulted in over 2 hours of sitting at Enterprise while trying to figure out the insurance confusion. After hours of calling and miscommunication I was not granted a rental which was V E R Y inconvenient because I was under the impression that they had all the information they need upon my arrival and it was going to be an easy and fast process. I recommend they ask and get all the information necessary for the rental process before the customer arrives understanding that they will have a rental. It is also very upsetting that before they were even done the process they had me pay the $150 deposit that will now have to be mailed back to me considering I do not have a vehicle to drive back to enterprise to get my money back. Extremely frustrating and an absolute waste of my time.

This location has been the only location to have ever be disappointed. We rent cars more often then the average person. This was our first and probably last time renting from this location. Staff are nice but seem extremely disorganized. The day before our rental the called and told us to come pick up the car first thing the next day. We get there and they had sent the car out for an oil change so we would have to hold out for it or get another car. No big deal. The give us a mazda. TheUThe manager had informed us the car was being cleaned and to hold on. When the car was brought around front it looked like it had come back from the police impound. There was alot of body damage and part where missing. The inside was filthy and I was not impressed but we have no other choice but take it as they had nothing else and I was not going to mile up my own car for this trip. When we got back we had informed the manager about the condition and cleanliness. It was definitely not clean. The manager kept saying they cleaned it and I showed his the pictures of the filth and kept repeating it was cleaned. If you have no problem solving skills you should not be a manager. Apparently my reservation got “lost”. How difficult is it to enter a customer reservation into the computer...especially since said reservation was made well in advance and had said computer send out an emailing CONFIRMING that the reservation had been made. This was an ICBC rental, and apparently mine is not the first ICBC reservation to result in customers being looked at with perplexed eyeballs (because that’s all we can see over the masks...thank you for wearing btw). So...again I ask the question...after a confirmation email has been sent to the body shop...how does it vanish. This is the second time that this particular location “lost” my reservation. And yet last time when I spoke to the manager...he was either able to find it, or bluff well enough while he created one. There seems to be a definite lack of capable and professional - by profession, I mean the ability to ones job without considerable errors, resulting in a customer writing a negative review. Oh...and if you ask me once if I have the claim number on me and I say no...asking me two more times is only going to aggravate the hell out of me, so please don’t do it. I am grateful that they did have a vehicle available. Not crazy about it being from Ontario...because based on the level of clean...I’m seriously wondering how well this vehicle was sanitized on drop off. So I’m going to be doing my own cleaning. And the guy doing the walk around missed a huge scuff along the back trim over the wheel well the extended into the paint...a pretty obvious one at that. So now I have a car with Ontario plates...almost as bad in our current COVID climate as having ones from the States. And I am willing to place a bet that someone, during the time I have this thing...will ask me about it in relation to COVID.

Worst experience I have ever had with Enterprise. They were supposed to pick me up on my timed lunch to bring me back and sign for a rental car. I took a half an hour lunch plus my 15 minute break at the same time to give them extra time. I work literally not even a minute drive away from Enterprise. I called and was told they would be 5 minutes. 20 minutes pass and no one is there. I call back and asked where they were and the guy said he would call the driver. He called me back 10 minutes later to tell me the driver was outside waiting for me. I stayed on the phone with him and walked outside and explained to him no one was there and I was waiting outside and was the only person outside. He told me he would call the driver again. Another 10 minutes go by and I'm waiting outside in a blizzard for this car that is apparently outside. I call them again and ask where the hell they are, he says they are outside waiting for me. I guess they don't know where the Walmart is in St. Thomas as NO ONE was there. He said he would call the driver back again, this whole time it would have made sense for the driver to call me instead of playing phone tag. I was running out of time so I decided to walk to enterprise in the blizzard. I called another 15 times, with no answer. I finally got through and got Tim. I was not happy and yelled at him. After finally getting to enterprise and having the company fixing my car come pick me up, Tim was MAD AT ME because I walked to enterprise and after 45 minutes his driver was now finally at Walmart waiting for me!!!! He forgot to inform me that before picking me up, they had to drop other people off resulting in a 45 minute wait outside in the cold and being lied to repeatedly. They also refused to talk to me until the man fixing my car came to pick me up and I'm only assuming because I'm a younger female. Tim was not apologetic for any of the problems whatsoever and was more mad at me that his driver was at Walmart after I had waited. St. Thomas needs another car rental place or better people than Tim and the other idiot behind the front desk.

Have been dealing with this branch for many years and have rented an absolutely ton of vehicles. Did a one-way from Leduc to Medicine Hat, rainy when the walk-around was completed in Leduc (rushed walk-around), 80 year old man drove straight from Leduc to Medicine Hat and this branch is now trying to charge 800$ for the damage in these photos. No help in solving it, sent it to damage recovery and didn't bother sending information to Leduc to ask about damages, no proof of inspections in the paperwork with the bill. Poor service.

SHORT ANSWER: BAD BRANCH I booked an economy car at weekend rate. I was given a minivan and this is ok. I scanned the mini-van for any damage larger than 1-2 inches (as the staff usually do) and didn't find any. At the day of return, the Branch manager found a dent/chip on the glass (NOTHING HIT THE GLASS DURING MY RENTAL AT ALL, and it is too small to be pointed during rental, much less than half an inch) and charged me 200 CAD, now I have to file a claim for something which is absolutely not my fault. His reasoning was: "It is on the driver side and not on the passenger side." I have been dealing with other enterprise branches (South Barnaby, Victoria) for years and never experienced such a situation. It has been 2 weeks and I received no single comment or response or anything even detailing the cost of repair. I reached out to their customer care representatives since 2 weeks and I didn't receive a single response ... awful. It should be noted all Enterprise staff spend 10 minutes every time talking and asking you "Do you want to buy our insurance, do you want to by gas from us" and never tell you glass dents/chips on passenger side are different from glass dents/chips on driver side. They don't even attach it to the rental agreement. THIS WAS UNFAIR! and for everyone who is renting, please be very strict with anything on the car, and add it to the car report before you rent, even if it was smaller than the allowed. and NEVER EVER trust fake smiles from customer service! UPDATE: - Enterprise customer service should invest their time responding to the open case (which I started 3 weeks ago) instead of chasing customers' reviews on social media - The Branch Manager have misused my personal data (he searched my past rentals and found from where do I rent each weekend) to "show his managers who is working and who is not working" as he said. This was in response to me telling him: other branches have better customer service and they don't hold money on your credit card.

I put down a deposit on my credit card (even though every thing was done through insurance) and still have not received the cheque in the mail (which in my opinion, is an archaic practice) since they apparently can't just refund it the way it was taken. The company that picks you up. Not really I live in Morinville and it's literally a 15 min drive from my house to this location. I asked if they could pick me up, no go. We only service St. Albert. When I said it would take them more time to drive to the south end of St. Albert (45 min) to get a customer there was no real answer to that although the representative did agree with my statement. They need to think outside the box. After getting a ride to this location the service was very good. Just wish they would offer pick up service for people in Morninville. Giving a 2 star because of the lame rule about only serving St. Albert. Update. I decide to answer their request on this feed and sent my information 3xs to different people and it's a joke. They either cannot find my agreement even though I have attached it to each email. My last email from them (the 3rd one now) They want to know why I am contacting them. WHAT? You contacted me, You asked me to contact you and yet no one so far seems to know why??? Ok Enterprise now the 2 star goes down to a 1 star. And yet none of this is about the actual location. The team in St. Albert are good at what they do, but it's the COMPANY they represent actually needs to learn something from the team in St. Albert about service. If you ever have to go beyond the walls of the local store and get a hold of people in head office..GOOD LUCK. Time to walk 20 feet to the right in the airport's now to the HERTZ desk. 2nd Update This will make you fall off your chair laughing...actual copy of email sent to me after all this stupidity. Worst rental car company ever. Phoned Enterprise and they assured me that a Chevrolet Tahoe, which I requested, would be at the St. Albert location when I arrived. After a 40KM drive from north of the city I arrived there and after a wait a sales representative came out from the back offices texting on her cellphone. I mentioned the wait and she said, "Sorry. I was talking to a customer." Yeah right! You don't text customers. Whatever ... After giving her my confirmation number she informed me that the Tahoe which I requested and reserved was not available. They didn't have one. I requested this vehicle because of my in-laws getting into a car accident and being in the hospital in Cranbrook, BC. I wanted a fullsize comfy vehicle to get them and their belongings to bring them back home to Edmonton. Even after getting in touch with Enterprise on the south side of Edmonton they refused to shuttle a Tahoe from the southside of Edmonton to their St. Albert location. Guess Enterprise DOESN'T pick you up because they won't even bring your preferred vehicle to the location where it was originally intended to be picked up. I will never give Enterprise Rent-a-Car another chance. They have lost this customer for good!

Hello, as we know enterprise has been going through lots of managers, and for the last few months I've been dealing with enterprise, all i can say is what exceptional service Kyle provides. Kyle is always calling to make sure my reservation is accurate, always making sure the car is in excellent condition, gas is always full (so you dont have to make detours and get gas) does a very thorough inspection with you so there is no discrepancies at the time of return. Its just amazing how much enterprise has changed in all of the years I've been dealing with Enterprise. I must say the ONLY reason i come to enterprise is because of Kyle. Not to mention all the other employees working there, but kyle being the manager of the facility, its his job to make sure everything is professional and courteous. As far as the covid regulations, kyle and the team at enterprise are always wearing there mask, do as limited amount of contact as possible, and overall im just amazed. Thabks for always taking care of me. Keep up the hard work and dedication my friend. I will definitely be recommending enterprise to all of my family and friends!

Not impressed with this rental service. Full service gas station filled car with diesel and now I am personally paying for the bill. The bill is higher then what my insurance company rented the car for. In the process of purchasing my new truck I left the old license plates inside the car, and enterprise claimed to have never found them, meanwhile I already had to pay to have new plates put on my new truck. Not happy with the faculty when dropping the vehicle off either, phone ringing constantly and no one to answer it...Nice to get this bill several weeks later... Thanks enterprise.

Went to rent a vehicle few years back and they forgot to register the vehicle when I got pulled over and got a ticket for driving an unregistered vehicle had to fight with them to get them to pay me the amount they never showed up for court it was just a bloody headache ended up renting another vehicle year later manager was super rude they also charged me to drop the vehicle off at another location that was 10 minutes away in Sherwood Park on the Henday ... They do not offer shuttle service to sherwood park. probably would never go back here again and the sherwood park sucks as well another nightmare when dropping the car off

The girl that served me provided an outstanding job. I had a rental paid from Honda, since they mess up my appointment and since they would take over a day to do what was needed on my car, they had to pay for the rental. Since I refused to bring the car to enterprise for the distance, etc... Honda told me to leave the car with them. What I didn't know is that, if any damage would occur while the car was there, I would be responsible. So the girl at Enterprise explained the problem to me and contacted Honda and made them another piece of paper taking full responsibility if anything would happened to the while parked in their property.

New manager is horrible. Please bring Kyle back. I rented vehicles from this company for most of last year, and gave it lots of my money (~ $2000 per month). Despite this, She tried to overcharge me for an additional driver, despite the fact that I booked with CAA, which waives the additional driver fee (She would be fully aware of this as the manager). Also, she would not work with me like Kyle did, and instead bragged about herself being the manager, and said "Well thats not the way I do things". in summary, I felt she acted unprofessional, provided poor customer service, had bad attitude, and I felt like she was treating me differently than she might treat other customers. I will not rent from this location again. Instead, I'll take the drive to London to deal with someone more professional, who doesn't try to fleece their customers with extra charges.

This location seems to be incredibly understaffed. Arrived about 45 mins early to pick up a vehicle which was fine, I brought work. But I sat in the waiting area all that time without being acknowledged at all. I had to go up to the counter and stand directly in one of the workers line of sight before I got any help. And he still didn't even say hello. The one other worker there, who was running around helping any other customers, was the one who finally helped. Vehicle had only a half tank of gas - they should be full, guys. And no washer fluid. Then I had an issue with the keyless ignition, called to get help - the phone rang over 30 times. I had to watch a youtube video to figure out what was going on. Excellent service from the one young man, who was on his second day there. Otherwise, absolute fail.

It's a scam. They make you pay for non existent damage on the car. And refuse to respond to e-mail. Just got my bill for $1100.00 for a 24 hour rental. avoid at all cost!!!! I posted a picture of a pre-existing dent, they showed it to me before I rented the vehical and said it was too small to count. After I returned it the uneducated individual said that I damaged the vehicle.

Worse experience ever with a car rental. Arrived on time and no one was there. Called them and was advised we only work until 5. Our flight got in at 11pm. The lady would not accommodate us so on December 23rd we had to scramble to find a hotel. Called back Christmas Eve 8am as I was told to. I was then informed oh we don’t meet you at the airport you now have to get a cab somewhere else. Also I rented a premium like a Fort Expedition and only when I get there she lets me know oh biggest we have is a fire escape, we don’t have any premium vehicles in our fleet. I called Budget at 9am on Christmas Eve. Literally 10 minutes the lady showed got me processed and I was out of there. All Enterprise did was cost me $180 for a hotel stay. Never again!! Worse customer service!!

Vehicle rented through SGI claim. They were to pick me up at the autobody. They did boot answer phone. When I got a ride to the office to get the rental, the vehicle was parked a block away on a side street. The outside was filthy. I pointed out numerous dents and dings that i could see under the salt on the vehicle and was told not to worry about them. I brought the vehicle home and cleaned the wrappers and garbage out of the back seat. The sticker inside the window says next service due at 18,000 km, this 2019 van has 34000 km on it. Every morning when starting the van cold, it rattles and squeals for the first half hour. Clearly they take no care of their vehicles. When dropping the van off today they claimed it was too dirty to look for damage. Once I had been home half an hour they called saying they had washed it and said there was damage to the vehicle wheel. I know for a fact I hit nothing. This place is nothing but a bunch of scam artists. My advice to anybody planning to rent from them is take pictures before you leave. Lots and lots of pictures so you have proof. I wish I had. I have rented plenty of vehicles over my years and I've never ever had an experience like this with any of the rental locations.

The experience I would like to share is the latest Christmas one from Kamloops to Vancouver, whereby there was this guy Raghav who helped us get the car. Our plan was a sudden one hence I called enterprise and luckily they had a car. The car also had winter tires which was a bonus due to the dangerous highway. The customer service was amazing. This guy made sure that the car was thoroughly washed and with the winter tires. I would suggest everybody to rent a car from enterprise rather than budget because at budget the same car was almost double. I am sure the folks who work here are nice, they have been polite each time I speak with them, my one star rating is more of an institutional commentary than anything. Twice I have booked certain vehicles online. First time I booked a one way rental to take to Vancouver and wanted something bigger as it was winter, got there and it was not the same car I had booked (same price though). Second time I booked a Wrangler, gentleman calls me and tells me it is not ready and will be ready Friday or Monday, I say great, I will wait, call on Friday to find out, gentleman tells me it is now Wednesday before it will be ready. Offered me other vehicles, but I wanted the Wrangler as part of the reason for renting it is because I am looking to buy one. When I asked the guy why I am able to book a "Wrangler or something comparable" online if it isn't there, he said it is an open booking system and it just shows everything as available. I think I will avoid booking with them in the future, no lack of quality or curtesy, just a lack of reliability in a business you need to rely on.

I called them twice and each time I was put on hold for half an hour, so I drove to their location and was welcomed with the worst customer service ever. WOW the blond woman with glasses probably got some mental issues. I sensed that her priority is not the business but herself and what she thinks. Go to the downtown location , they are more friendly and know how to build a clientele. We rented a car for one month and wanted another car but they didn't have at that time so we unfortunately went to the north end. The woodlawn location will keep sinking until they fire the blond woman and the Indian guy.

Go into London to rent a car, the only way I can think of that they have so many stars is that they are adding the reviews themselves!! Enterprise as a corporation (not just St. Thomas) isnt great either. They give out personal information to anyone who picks up the phone, even when corrected the continue to call the wrong number, the information on the letters they send out is not accurate and when you call the number on the letter, the people who answer have no questions and will send you to a voicemail system that apparently no one monitors. I saw the bad reviews and thought "well, its close to me", dont do that! Go to literally any other company! London isnt that far away. It will save a lot of energy and time not to mention money and the headache!

Staff are generally verry courteous and helpful. I have had some issues surrounding "young renters" policy, mostly that the staff don't all fully understand the policies. It is obvious this place is caters to more of a upper class elderly crowd and they make quiet a deal of making it clear. They will likely give you a hard time if your under the age of 25, but this seems to be the norm with most similar agencies. It's a real shame places like this can't be more accepting to the fact that young people need and use this service as well. They frequently use liability as an excuse, even tho they charge an outrageous "young drivers Fee" that is marketed as extra insurance. But I have even had them go as far as to request I bring back vehicles they sent me out in by mistake. Inconvinecing me, and slightly insulting to say "we accidentally let you take a premium Car" when I booked, revived, and paid for a premium vehicle as well as the extra insurance, I was asked yo bring it back and given a crock story about how it was the only car they had at the time but not they need it back. Real shame because this staff deserves 5 stars.

Booked a premium car from here, (Chevvy 300s or equivalent! ) Got the email day before pick up, saying that my car was ready. When I arrived to pick up my car, they never had it, the chap then said I could have a hybrid ( smaller car) for the same price!! Boot was far too small for hunting trip gear. Plus knowhere too charge up.? Then went to show me the same model petrol model, still same problem... No boot space! Eventually offered me a Kia, which I had to except as he never had any other Large car equal to the chevvy 300s. It sort of did the trip, but travelling for 6hrs, my bum was sore. Seats where not what I was used to. Been with Enterprise for years, this being my only bad one. Won't hire from that branch again. Very cheesed off.

I rented a car through a website with Enterprise at the gander Airport and they had advertised that they where open at 00:30 when our flight came in that was back in October now they just called and said sorry we are closed you have to wait till 8 Am for a car we will pick you up at your hotel for free Who is paying for that hotel plus the Taxi to the Hotel ? I rented a car for a two week road trip and Lindsey did an amazing job making sure I had the best option possible for it. On top of that Kevin was hands-down the best customer service I have ever had there. He was pleasant, understanding, and went the extra mile to make sure that everything was taken care of, including hand writing a receipt for me when their computer system was down. I would recommend this location again as I have used them now over 5 times (some for insurance and some for personal) and they are diligent in their drive to ensure people have the vehicle they need regardless of the reason. The online reservation system accepted my info and booked a car for me. The next day I got a call from the local office advising there were no cars available. I arrived in the GFW area and visited their office to let them know I was in town and needed a car. Still no car.. However a short while later I received a call. I got rental car through ICBC as my car meet an accident I got the courtesy car but the very next I called enterprise to change as I used to drive AWD and my car had winter tires on but this car doesn't have anything as such I have spoken to all the customer care people at enterprise and all I get in return that they dont have a car with winter tires How can they not have cars with winter tires as if customers wont take any highways due to all this issues I have been travelling in cabs and the courtesy car is standing in my parking area Will never recommend anyone to got to enterprise.

Worst car rental place in town. If you are forced to use them make sure you take extremely detailed photos of the car before and after you receive the car. When returning the car make sure you stay for the walk around and get it approved that you didn't damage it before you leave. Horrible service and very unorganized.

Everything was great would have given 5 stars until return my wife dropped off the vehicle as I was at work I asked her to leave it with 3/4 of a tank of fuel which is what the guy said it needed to be returned with she did but I was charged $17 dollars for it being short 7 litres I guess there's a digital reading but he didn't tell me the number just that it needed 3/4 to be returned all and all pretty good just need to read the fine print and not rely on the guys word

I had a rental car arranged here by the repair shop. The Hyundai venue I was given was very clean and drove well. Staff were easy to deal with and they were covid conscious. They had masks on all the time and the vehicle was wiped down after he brought it around to the front for me. After returning the vehicle, I also received a follow up call to let me know the rental was completely approved by ICBC and that they were going to cancel the credit card preauth which would appear on my statement in a couple days.

Absolutely awful experience! The rental agent I dealt with was dismissive, didn't even introduce himself, didn't explain the process, and had me sign without allowing me to actually see the documents on the tablet I was signing. I was not made aware of the terms and conditions until after I was leaving, and the rental agent did not document all the damage, as some were 'a warranty issue'. Of course when we dropped the vehicle off he found something and now we are being stuck with the bill. The agent, who also happens to be the branch manager, would not even acknowledge my questions until my husband got out of the car and then he would only talk to him. Their documentation was recorded incorrectly as well. If you aren't going to record all damage on the walk around, and you aren't documenting your forms correctly, how am I supposed to trust that the damage happened while I had the vehicle, especially when it was barely driven in the two days I had it and I know I didn't have an accident?! Would not recommend Enterprise as a whole either, as they have been avoiding our questions at all levels. I would like to edit my review in response to the owners comment below. We have sent at least two emails to the email address you have provided and have yet to receive a reply to any of our specific concerns. Our emails have been detailed and very specific about the details of my experience/concerns at the local branch here, but continue to be ignored.

A few years ago KeyWest Ford rented a car for me from them because they did not have a courtesy car. Enterprise charged me $75 to assume all liability in the event of an accident. I paid this fee. Upon return, the Enterprise staff never did a walk around to ascertain that there was NO damage. That staff member accused me of damaging the vehicle. He was seen driving off the KeyWest lot at a dangerously high speed Enterprise sent me a letter demanding payment of more than $1,000. After contacting my lawyer, I sent them a response telling them the circumstances of my rental and told them to contact my lawyer. A few weeks later they responded that they 'would fix the 'car' themselves. An obvious scam. I will NEVER use these guys again. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! Do NOT RENT from these guys. My van broke down on the highway and the garage couldn't fix it for two days. Dan made things so easy for me. He set me up in a nice vehicle with ease. He quickly picked me up and even waited while I got my things from my van that was inside the garage bay. Very professional and pleasant guy to deal with. Woodlawn location has terrible customer service..we have a car however when we went to a dealership the weekend before to shop for a new vechile we were told our car had issues with wheel bearings.i didnt want my husband driving so i metioned renting one for a few days till the new truck was ready.. Im sick.. dealing with cancer chemo and radiation..i was so sick from chemo i spent 2 days in hospital.. My husband walked up to the rental place on woodlawn in this heat..with me home sick..they had only 1 car to rent..wow..a suv they wanted 99 a day for. Way to much.especially for the only car they had.They didnt even try to work with him.so he walked all the way back home. He called the dt location and wow customer service was absolutely wonderful!! We got a car..a great suv charged properly..meaning they honoured the fact that they didnt have a small car but gave us the rate of 1..the right thing to do. 154 for 3 days..I cannot believe the difference of customer service for the same rental place. Downtown treated him like a king..in the future dt it is. And props to them for doing the right thing when someone is in need. Woodlawn should be ashamed as their customer service was absolutely horrible. Downtown enterprise made sure that he had a vechile to bring me to the hospital and come n visit me for a couple of days.since i got real ill from chemo. 5 star for dt enterprise..0 for Woodlawn..

Hi I wanted to take some time off my busy schedule to make sure that this amazing customer service that I received from Rishi and Mike who work at the Woodlawn branch does not go unrecognized. I was Initially being helped by Rishi who was very polite and was very accommodating I had to book the car at the last moment due to a family emergency and it was a long weekend and they did not have the car but Rishi made it happen for me by arranging it from some other store which I'm so grateful for. When I was there to pick up the car I was helped by Mike who was also so patient and polite, explained to me my contract and handed me the car and everyone was just so wonderful to deal with. It's because of people as such I would love to keep going to that branch. Zero stars. I booked online and took a cab from hotel and they say there are no cars... wdf? Apparently there booking system does not work vs inventory. So I said when will one be available. Thru say oh when one comes in but no time. I say can you call the airport and see if they have anything, um no its a separate entity. You would think they make a quick call, nope they just don't care. So I asked if they had coffee whole I wait, nope. I rented from another place in 2 mins, they picked me up and treated me awesome. Avoid this place if you are on any kinda of schedule as when I said I have appointments to keep, they just didn't care.

Called them about it and received a sarcastic comment. No professional courtesy. I don't know the manager so I don't know why the attitude and sarcasm. Was in a jam and needed to rent a car. Service was ok, but i've never had a business refuse to take cash. Forcing me to put it on my visa, which i didn't want to do. Since i've rented many cars before while in the corporate world, i have never heard of this policy, which is also NOT listed on your website. The credit card can be held, but i should be able to just pay for my rental afterwards, just like EVERY OTHER CAR RENTAL PLACE DOES. When i thought about this i also noticed that the person who refused to take my cash was the SAME "manager" who refused to rent me a car multiple times at the Gordon location, after enquiring why i'm renting the car and another employee telling me they had cars in stock (usually a business trip to Toronto since my car was in an accident) Maybe if i still wore my corporate outfit instead of my entrepreneur t-shirt and jeans i would get better service. The only way i'll rent here again is if i'm in a jam where there are no other car rental places had any vehicles. 5 stars to the people who drive you home though.

I showed up on a busy Wednesday before a long weekend, from across the country, needing a vehicle. Farooq really went out of his way to help me, and located a vehicle in Burnaby for me, so that I was able to make my meetings. Ravi was also very helpful. I returned Friday and received the same great service. They were able to secure a small car for me, a vehicle very similar to the one I drive at home, so that I would be comfortable. I really appreciated everything they did for me last week. They are polite, respectful, and friendly, and if I need a car rental in that area again I would definitely go back, knowing that even if it's very busy and they are out of vehicles, they will do everything they can to help me find one.

Clean and Tidy storefront. Staff members well versed in company policies. Location easy to find and identify. All staff very rigid in business and policy. Manager appears very groomed by upper management and corporate training and very fast to dictate the "rules" when he sees fit to bring those rules forward. Our situation required several return visits to storefront and were able to witness managers changing interpretations of policy and corporate decisions. Extremely frustrating while attempting to do business. Body language of all staff members were completely negative while attempting to clarify issues. Rolling of the eyes.....arms folded....lack lustre stance completely inappropriate and uncalled for. Manager leading the entire group of staff with these negative gestures. Several other customers witnessed these actions and appeared quite surprised with the negativity of the staff and inability of all staff and manager to mitigate the issues. Male staff member continued the negative experience during rental delivery by explaining that even with visible and audioable difficiencies of the vehicle...." He wasn't worried" about those deficiencies and upon requesting those deficiencies be recorded officially and documented prior to renting, pushed back significantly enough to cause a scene when the renting party made it very clear in a heated demand to record the obvious deficiency. The male company representative immediately continued an extremely innapropriate attitude towards the individual in the renting party for pointing out the deficiencies and demanding they be identified and recorded. Because the renting party may be liable for these issues....it was very clear these items absolutely needed to be identified. To those reading this review....please be aware of the changing interpretations of "policy"....and the almost choreographed staff closing in around each other and almost ganging up on the customer and making you feel uncomfortable. Also be very clear on ensuring you are not going to be held liable for deficiencies that the company may not be " worried about". The fact that the attitude completely changed when the company representative was demanded to record deficiencies is clear that there was a possible scam about to occur. Do Not allow these staff members to intimidate you and pay close attention to the changing and or additions to the policies spoken to you by even the manager. Shame on Enterprise Car Rental to allow this sort of misinformation and partial and or changing interpretations to paying and apparently valuable customers. I am certain the staff reading this review will remember this incident and simply brush this off as a difficult customer. But be rest assured , this is a genuine accounting of the customer experience.

Nice at first, until I go to to use my credit card after the "24" hours you have to wait to get the deposit is up and it still isn't on my balance I call and ask,he says call the bank. So I do that she tells me they can call there cc company and take the hold off themselves, so I call he says he will call me back when it is done. Calls me back says it's done now they are closed and I may have tones of 3-10 business days for the funds to return to my balance, terrible experience never again will I rent with you guys.

It's our 2nd time to rent from this branch (3rd Ave, New Westminster), the staff, Abhi Mann was always very accommodating and reliable. He has given us excellent service by going above and beyond what we expect. We rented a mini van on our first time and SUV on our second time, both cars were in excellent conditions, we never had any issues. They actually have quite a number of choices of vehicles in the branch, which we never expected because it's a small office they've got here. We highly recommend this branch and for sure if we're renting next time, we will go back to this place, no doubt about that.

This is my favourite rental place. The customer service is always phenomenal and as a regular renter they know my vehicle preference. There is occasionally a relatively long wait to get my vehicle (early morning pick up on their busy days) but as long as you know to factor that in especially on Mondays and Tuesdays you should be good to go.

My partner had a rental for a full month from them while his car was getting fixed from an accident. Service was great, quick and easy. The car they gave him though had all season tires on, and in a Newfoundland winter studs are definitely needed. The car got stuck at stop signs, traffic lights, parking lots, in our flat drive way, slid around multiple times on the highway even with driving with majorly reduced speeds. He feared multiple times for his life while driving that vehicle. And the only reason I see why they don’t have studded tires is because of cost, they cheaped out. Even the loaner car from the garage that he has now because the rental was up has studded tires. Not impressed at all. Do not recommend a rental from them in the winter time.

I would first like to say thanks to Baljh, MO, and Tony. These 3 individuals are extremely helpful, they really went out of their way to make this experience as easy and painless as possible! Originally I went in for a mid size car. But tony didn't have what I needed so they upgraded me to a Nissan Titan for only $10 more a day than the original asking price. This ended up being a blessing in disguise because the weather was absolutely terrible and I was able to move more of my belongings to my new house. I also appreciated the the low deposit, enterprise is asking $300 less than what budget is asking. Even the rates for the rentals are much lower. In conclusion I would like to say thanks again to my angels in disguise Tony, MO, and Baljh. For making sure I arrived home safe and sound. I will most definitely be renting with enterprise in the future and they will be my first and only stop for a convenient way to travel. ????????????

Mike without any explanation waived the extra day they where going to charge me understanding that I just picked up my settlement check that day. The great expirience did not end there. The service is quick especially if you have signed up for an account with them. The vehicles are clean and new. We have rented several times from this location and it has always gone well. I do wish they were open on Saturday at least instead of Monday to Friday as this can cost you more for when you don't actually need the vehicle yet. Only other option is to rent from Regina which is not the best solution. I can usually figure it out though so I will rent from the local shop.

(Translated) It was a rental made by my insurance companies (Desjardins) because of a total loss of my vehicle because I got hit in it on December 18th. I rented a car from December 22 to 28. The car was a 2021 mazda 6 which had an electrical problem: the start button was flashing red because there was a key problem, which was really tiring when driving at night. They demanded a deposit of $ 250 in case there was any damage when returning the vehicle. I returned the vehicle on the 28th, we examined the car and found that there was no damage. On the other hand, they did not want to give me back my deposit because the file is not closed with my insurance and the rental was only from the 22nd to the 25th, which makes no sense. I contacted Desjardins and I was told to call Enterprise customer service, Enterprise told me to speak with the branch where I rented the car, the branch told me to call Gardens. Everyone is throwing the ball but no one settles anything. I'm tired of fooling around and wasting my time. (Original) C'était une location fait par mes assurances (Desjardins) à cause d'une perte totale de mon véhicule car je me suis fait rentrer dedans le 18 décembre. J'ai loué une auto du 22 au 28 décembre. L'auto était une mazda 6 2021 qui avait un problème électrique: le bouton de démarrage clignotait rouge car il y avait un problème de clé, ce qui était vraiment fatiguant quand on conduit le soir. Update: They have since made amends and the money has been refunded. It is unfortunate that it got to this point, but the corrections have been made and the general manager has called personally to apologize. I have upgraded the star rating to reflect this. My parents rented a car from these guys from June 7th, 2013 to June 10th, 2013. The rental agreement # is 206239, with reference # 5938RC. The car my parents rented was a Toyota Corolla sedan, license plate #254PNV. Although my dad had returned the vehicle on June the 10th, and paid the previously agreed upon rental fee of $107.06 CAD (or 105.86$ USD), my parents were later surprised to find a further withdraw of USD 105.25$ on the 12th of June without an invoice for absolutely no discernible reason. My father contacted the branch and spoke with a person named Mark who assured him that he will speak with the branch manager about this error. My father NEVER received a call from the branch manager or anyone else from this branch, nor was the money ever refunded. After several weeks with no answer or updates, my mother called the branch on the 25th of June and spoke with a representative named "Pele", who gave her the same stock response. With still no updates, she called again on the 27th and spoke with an employee with "Mark" who YET AGAIN, told her the manager will look into it. By now it should be obvious that, despite calling and patiently waiting for a long-overdue refund, no one with any relations to Enterprise reached out to offer any updates. Fed up, my mother called the head office and spoke with a lady named Beatrice, who responded that as the call center she reached was located in the U.S, she has no say in the affairs of Canadian branches, but noticed that my parent's names were not even in the company system for refunds! However, she assured my mother that she will get the manager to contact her immediately at 4pm later that day. Of course NO such phone call came in. At this point we are left wondering whether or not even such a manager exists, and if so, how can someone so unprofessional and so ignorant about their basic duties and customer service principles, be allowed to run a branch. Needless to say, my parents have had enough and if this matter is not resolved soon we will contact the BBB, as well as the Enterprise Canada head office. We are prepared to find this display of gross negligence and incompetence all the way to the top. As an established company in the car-rental industry, we expected far more professionalism and courtesy from Enterprise. People go to companies like these with the hope that the brand will demonstrate value, and adherence to customer service standards. What is the point then, is it to rent from an established company such as Enterprise when we can get this terrible customer service from any XYZ car rental company in the world?

Enterprise is the only place where I'll rent a car from. Unlike other rentals where they pin point every scratch and Mark. Enterprise doesn't do that. Sure they walk around the car, they check. If the scratch is long or the window got hit my a rock, then they care. Cars are clean and filled with gas. I rented from St Albert. They gave me a Kia, which in the beginning it was ok, but by the time I got home I hated it. So I called back and asked for a different car. Anthony was helping me, he asked what I wanted. I am a little late posting this review. My experience with Enterprise was not a good one. I was told by my insurance company after my accident to use enterprise car rental company as their customers get V.I.P. service with them. My husband offered to call and arrange the rental vehicle for me and ask if they had a Ford Edge we could use as we were actually looking to buy one at the time. He actually rents from enterprise all the time, but deals with the location in Mississauga.This Guelph location said yes they had a Ford Edge for me to rent. They picked me up from the collision center to come and sign the paperwork etc. Then I find out they put me in a very small car a (Nissan Versa I believe). I had no choice but to drive away in this car as I had to work, I also now had no way to leave on my own as my truck was at the collision center. I expressed my unhappiness while they were sending a walk in customer (that had gotten there after me) out the door with the mustang that I was driven there in. I left feeling completely ripped off and to make it worse I felt like I was driving a pop can and was very uncomfortable in the car. To have a small 4 cylinder car from my big V8 truck after being told I would be put in the same size vehicle!!! My husband called our insurance agent to complain further being as we were suppose to have V.I.P. service and be placed in the same size vehicle as my Ford Explorer. Enterprise contacted me back and brought a very small suv for me to drive (a jeep compass). It was still not the Ford Edge, but slightly better than the car. It took them almost 2 weeks to get me into the Edge, which was I had for 2 days before my collision repairs were done on my Ford Explorer. ( I actually bought a brand new Ford Edge in July I loved driving theirs so much) I received a call from the owner about all of this, and I told him I was going to be writing a bad review of his place. Mr. Bruyn offered to make it right by sending me some free rental car service in the mail. He was very nice and I felt had tried to make it right, so I held off my bad review. Here is the thing. I never received the free rentals. I never received anything in the mail from them at all. I should have written this review then, but once things are left awhile you get back involved in real life you forget to say something negative until real life yet again puts you in a similar situation and you are forced to remember. Last night I was hit by another car yet again. Darn my luck!! There is extensive damage done to my beautiful Ford Edge and today I will be placed into another rental car for god only knows how long. The only thing I know for certain is that I WILL NOT get this rental from this location and I will never recommend them to anyone. My advise is, if you want fair treatment this is not the place to go.

This was absolutely the worst experience I’ve had- zero exaggeration. I rented a car through enterprise on the Expedia website on July 28 for the morning of July 30. My father in law is in ICU and I had to return to Edmonton because of work and I wanted to leave my spouse with our car so he could get to/from the hospital and to his dad’s transfer to Kelowna hospital. I had a confirmation email that said I had a confirmed rental car for 0830 on July 30 at the airport Enterprise location. On arrival to the airport yesterday there was nobody at the booth and there was a sign saying to call a number- which transferred me to the downtown location. When I called and said I was trying to pick up the vehicle I reserved they put me on hold for awhile then came back on and said that even though I had a reservation they actually had NO vehicles available and a 20 person wait list. When I asked how it’s possible that I could have a reservation if no car existed they said ‘they were busy’. We asked to speak to a manager and they said the same thing and we asked why they wouldn’t call someone to tell us that there wasn’t a vehicle available and he said ‘we don’t have time to do things like that’. I can appreciate in pandemic times and summer it is likely a busy industry and that there would be tight availability. However, it is ridiculous to advertise availability of vehicles that you have none of - especially to book someone into one of you have a 20 person wait list and have no way of honouring your rental agreement. Not at any point did either of the men on the phone apologize for this occurring or even try and discuss with us when the possibility of a car would come up. I really can sympathize with a busy work environment and I get that things happen. But wow, do not post available things if your not in a position to fulfill that agreement. This left us with a complete dead end of how to get me home last minute as I work in an emergency department in Edmonton and had to come back to my job and my husband had to stay with his very ill father. I know you as a company don’t know this when you’re booking - but please do know that this was a completely awful way to conduct business and that I will be absolutely sure to never book with your company again as a result. Please don’t allow your business to make promises to anyone else in a rental agreement and then treat them this way. As I’m sure your business is busy and you’re feeling stress in these times too, people are counting on you when they make these arrangements and it’s not ok to run a company like this.

Best enterprise location by far! These guys treat you like kings. I would highly recommend A+++. The manager is very kind and accommodating, as well as another employee Milanpreet. I only rent from this location because of the superb customer service. Also you have to call a day in advance for pickups as this is a small location with 2 employees working.

When I arrived to pick up the vehicle it was dirty inside and out. Vehicle had less than half a tank of fuel. When I returned it they said the computers were down and they would email me my invoice. Waited a week then had to call to get the invoice

Before leaving with the car, I asked if I was entitled to an invoice, something that should have been given without having to ask. I asked him to explain to me certain charges that I did not understand. He started to tone down and we had to ask him to tone it down. In the end, he mentioned that he was going to give us a $ 35 discount on the bill, which I NEVER received. The car was perfect for but the service left something to be desired. I have rented cars from Edmonton and Abbotsford in the past. Edmonton was good, Abbotsford I was a little disappointed in. Kamloops however was great!! Absolutely the best location of enterprise. The guys were very personable & professional, perfect balance of both. I will absolutely be back when I need another rental. Thanks so much! It was a cherry on top for a weekend away.

These guys are terrific. I rented in Kamloops but dropped off the car in Vancouver. The Vancouver location made a couple of errors in closing out my bill. When I brought this to the attention of the folks in Kamloops, they took care of things quickly and with zero fuss. My experiences over many rentals with them have been consistently great - you can depend on them to do things right.

We have used this location at least a half dozen times. I own a business in the US, and as such, I do not have a Canadian credit card. This has never been a problem before. I have used my US card every time I've come here. But the last time I went here, they denied me and said they would not accept the card that I've already used with them several times before. The manager was totally unforgiving and didn't care about us. Totally killed our vacation plans, and delayed our trip by 4 hours. We had to walk in the rain with our luggage. Luckily, we found another rental place that was happy to accept my American card. I will never use Enterprise ever again.

It is such a shame that the Manager at the St Thomas location, does the bare minimal for his potential customers. He has NO personality and when you call it's almost as though you are bothering him. Living in St Thomas I shouldn't HAVE to go London to reserve a car, even when attempting on line, he is NO help whatsoever. I rented all last summer from London, I had hoped the one time it was short notice that I could have rented from the Enterprise in the town that I live....but NOPE. I would NEVER suggest the St Thomas locations, that being said I had, had nothing but great customer service when dealing with anyone other than the manager. However he has the last say so they weren't even able to help.

Avoid this place at all costs and take your business elsewhere. Most unorganized car rental place in Sarnia. There is a complete lack of intellectual integrity here at this location. They have no policies in place if one of the members of their staff is off sick, on vacation or not present for any other reason. This place expects their clientele to know the inner workings of their management division. If someone is looking after your account and happen to be absent, no one deals with your emailed requests which require a P/O to be created by certain businesses. They will just leave you hanging, and instead of trying to facilitate a solution they will frankly tell you they don't supply certain services. Upon email transactions you will also not get any verification, confirmation or reply. Customer service goes a long way. One would assume Enterprise would like to satisfy clients with ongoing rental transactions, right? Beware that if someone is not present at work, no one looks after their accounts. Even when people ARE present at work, they often don't reply to voicemails or emails....and this is their MANAGEMENT!!! Keep up the horrible customer service, Enterprise. People; take your business elsewhere, Enterprise management should be ashamed of themselves and their lack of respect for other people's time. Inconveniencing customers repeatedly does not generate repeat business. Thanks for ruining my weekend!!

They ruined my trip to Gander. I reserved the car online, but when I came to take the keys they told me, I am DNR (don't rent). Although, I showed them the proof of my payment, they asked me to wait until they confirm with their office in Halifax. I waited for many hours and finally gave up and I rented a car from Budget. The lady who works at the office did whatever she could to help me, it's not her fault at all. But it's the fault of the enterprise company. Never to rent with them again.

Fantastic Service. Horrible service. After making a reservation, I got a call on the day of the rental that no car is available. I called National, the rental company next door. They confirmed having a car, didn't mention they had merged with Enterprise! Then another confirmation email comes, from Enterprise, and another phone call that there is no car available. I can't believe they don't have a system in place that actually shows off they have care or not. Now I'm taxiing around town today. This is just not acceptable!

My insurance company used Enterprise to obtain a car for me. I picked up a great vehicle, similar to my own, which was well kept. Pick up and drop off was very quick, and I have no complaints on the customer service. I received my deposit back without any issues, and would definitely use them again in the future.

Wow. Called to reserve a van 2 weeks from now from Calgary to Medicine Hat, drop it here then again rent in 2 weeks to go back to Calgary. Those 2 X half day rental would cost $350.00 +. Be sure to ask about drop off fees.
