I wrote them an email to notify them that the vehicle advertised was not the same vehicle as the one pictured. I was just trying to be nice. They responded with a copy and paste of all of the vehicles features and asked me if I was interested in seeing it in person. Then they followed up with 2 more auto replies when I didn't respond. Several months later and I still receive sales and promotional emails from them. 0 stars for personalized experience, 0 stars for assuming it was ok to af me to their mailing list.

This is my review on company. Im not here to encourage or discouraged anyone to do business with this dealership. This is based of my experience worst experience ever it seems as if 99.9999% from the owner to the staff there only prefer a certain group of people and if you're someone of color they welcome you but not you the welcome you for your money. So wheather you least or finance a vehicle from them as soon as they received the money it's a totally different situation where even the management shunned you that I have to contact ford Canada and other sources about their disgusting behavior so fly high or fly low as long as i have the ford extended warranty they have to get my vehicle fixed the right and correct way and absolutely no doubt about that i know for sure. So for these reasons if I could give them a - star instead of 1 I would've ????

Staff was very friendly. Remained polite and even stayed open for an extra 30 minutes when I was running late to pick up my BMW from out of town. Make sure to look up your trade in values before you get excited and pull the trigger on the trade in though. They know their stuff and will low ball you pretty hard if you're an eager beaver like I was.

I apparently do not learn from my mistakes. Third vehicle I buy at Braden Ford and always the same pattern, they take your money but when it is time to give you service under warranty this is way under the strict minimum expected from a dealership, they don't have courtesy or shuttle available for you, they don't return your calls etc. Got my truck in last friday (brand new Expedition platinum: failed throttle body!!!) asked for a courtesy as this is our only family vehicle, nothing for me on Friday, told me they will call me back monday and did not have any news until we reached back to them Wednesday, still nothing to offer told us they will call back the day after....they did not! Contacted service manager via email for a follow up, never responded!! I finally got a call today to get my truck before the long week end they DID NOT OFFER THE SHUTTLE TO PICK ME UP!!! When I showed up there, staff did not bother explaining why she did not follow up handed me the key and the bill and turned around to another customer....

After a service advisor told me ( a couple of times) that my GPS was not warrantied by Ford, as late as a couple of months ago, today, another service advisor, Tracy, told me that it was in fact warrantied by Ford. After getting lost a few times and getting upset and frustrated, I went out and bought a handheld GPS, which got me home from Florida. The worst thing that happened, that no one told me about, was... I lost all of my addresses and favorites. Tracy was very nice and professional ????.

Here is to explain why I suggest not to buy a car from Ford due to their low level of service and distrust of their clients. Here is my story: I have a Ford F150, 2017 that I really like to drive. I do not use it for work and it is mostly for family. BUT recently, I am increasingly having more trouble with it such as problem with opening the doors in cold days, problem with opening the tailing door almost the whole winter, etc. Today I had to refer to them because the tailing door was not being locked and problem with the starter. I went to the James Brander (Kingston, Ontario). The lock for the tailing door was fixed but, surprisingly, they did not take care of the problem with startup. The problem is that sometimes the startup makes a pulsating/ticking noise and sometimes does not start at all. This happens intermittently. We have to turn on/off and try again to start vehicle. The service manager said that they started it 10 times and did not find any problem. So, in their opinion, it does not have any problem! And because of this they were not willing to replace the startup. Their logic was that Ford Company does not accept customer's claim and needs to see the car problem at the service shop!! Apparently, based on Ford Company policy if the shop replaces a part but the Company does not find it faulty, the shop would be charged. Therefore, they won’t to do anything till their technician see the problem with their own eyes – customers’ eyes are not trusted. Seriously…..?! Who likes to take time off from work to go for unreal claims?! Who has the time?? The solutions that they were suggesting were surprising: 1) They suggested that we wait until the startup is completely broken and we call road side assistant. This simply means waiting until it can ruin one of our days! 2) The manager of second hand Ford suggested me to take a video of the problem. This is very funny because it means that we have to always have our camera on before starting the car – in case it happens that it does not work so that we can take a video to prove what we are saying is the truth!!!!! This experience was exactly opposite to my experience with my other car that is from Nissan. They trust customer claims and take care of the problem immediately. I am very unsatisfied with Ford Service. Although I love the truck, it is constantly needing to be serviced for different reasons and the service that we receive is not optimal.

Travelling back home to NS from BC and needed an oil change and service. Jesse, the service advisor, managed to squeeze us in and was very helpful and courteous. This was a change from the other dealership in Kingston, which not as accommodating given our circumstances. Servicing was completed within 10 minutes of the promised time. Found the personnel in the dealership to be very friendly and helpful. If I still lived un Kingston, this would be my dealership.

3.5 star rating if I could. Mike and his employees are very nice and helpful during this process. The only issue I experienced was purchasing 100% online (because of COVID19). There were many small things we weren't told about and couldn't see until getting the car. Also the main reason why its not 5 stars is because the main title of the vehicle I purchased stated "HEATED LEATHER INTERIOR" and that is false. It is not heated nor is it even leather, it's all material. Overall a great car and the team at James Braden is awesome.

They gave me an absurd value for my trade-in and they got me a new vehicle no questions asked when the vehicle I had just purchased turned out to have a few problems. The service staff bend over backwards for you, they get vehicle work done in hours instead of needing the whole day, they have a great kitchenette with free food and drinks, wifi is fast -- they even let me use their scanner to scan and email a huge document -- the dealership is even pet friendly. When I'm here for service the waiting room is an extension of my office, which is really important to me. Plus the chairs are more comfortable than my office chair! If you're in the market for a Ford, make sure you check out James Braden Ford. They will impress you.

I had an extremely disapointing experience here. I had snow way plow I purchased and wanted Janes Braden to install it. I was quoted around 1800$ taxes in which is fair considered the amount of work to do a plow installation. I own a landscape and snow plowing company so they had my truck and plow, I was down one of my fleet vehicles for 3 days. They cant get the plow to work and it worked when I purchased it. 2500$ dollars later the plow still doesnt work and they have no idea why. Finally Fed up I Took the plow to Pat's Radiator where it was fixed in 5 mins because they didnt have the ground wire properly grounded i watched the tech from pats put the tester on it. He then properly grounded the wire and plows worked flawlessly since. 3 days they had it and didnt even check to see if they properly grounded the wire basic stuff im not even a mechanic and know this. And to top it all off the head light on the drivers side no longer works because they didnt install the plow wiring correctly so that also needs to be fixed. They called snow way directly to speak with them about diagnostic information they said they call me with any info they had after i picked up the plow and paid not once did I ever receive a call after with any diagnostic information. This whole situation could of simply been avoided if they had simply checked a ground wire instead of hosing me for 2500$ and costing me even more money on losing jobs due to being down a fleet vehicle that was suppossed to be in and out in a day which is exactly how it should of been. I DO NOT recomend getting any plow installs or service done here and I will never buy any vehicles or plows from you guys. Which is really unfortunate as i wanted to purchase 4 new snow way plows and a new truck to expand my fleet.

My sales rep was incredible. Gave me the service I needed and always checked in after I made my purchase to make sure I was enjoying my vehicle! A+ to him. The mechanics on the other hand are useless. I purchased a 2017 Ford Escape and since I bought it, the car alarm will randomly go off multiple times a day. Now, it'll randomly go off while I'm driving and I can't control it. So I just drive with this alarm for about 30 seconds before it stops itself. I've brought the car in 3 or 4 times since the date of purchase and they say nothings wrong and refused to replace the alarm or the sensors. Now my car stereo doesn't even work and it's only been 2.5 years. So I call again, hoping this time they can figure something out cause I have years left on this car. Well no, cause the warranty I purchased expired last week. I'd be fine paying for service, but knowing how many times I've brought it there and it was never fixed, I'll never trust this place again. Horrible horrible service in that department.

After the works package was done on my 3 year old F150. They neglected to tell me about the wheel nuts being damaged witch are no longer removable using a standard sized socket. I had the wheels off a month before for cleaning and had no issues but when I was confirming the torque after the service I notice the lugs nuts were beat up and require replacement. service manager was not interested in helping me out. I also feel the wheels were not torqued correctly as half the nuts were loose after just 80 KM. If I required the use of my spare tire I would have no way of getting the wheels off on the side of the road.

Tried to charge me for $1500 of work to safety a car which had a safety only 2500 km prior, most of the work was unnecessary. They nitpicked every aspect of the car down to a few mm of play in one door hinge. Never coming back here again. Went to Petrie Ford and they did the work for a third of the cost and were very helpful. Never coming here again.

Hello all... I just wanted to share my experience with everyone because I am really upset about what happened with my dealings with James Braden Ford after I purchased my car from them. I have recently just bought a car from them and I paid entirely cash for my car. After a month later I ended up wrecking my rim and tire. I was in the middle of no where and when I went to go change my tire I go to look in my trunk for my spare tire there wasn’t even a spare tire to begin with!! I ended up having to pay for a towing to tow me back to Belleville. Also I received a complimentary year warranty on my rims and tires when I purchased the car in case anything like this ever happened and now they are telling me that they can’t help me with getting a new rim and tire. I’m completely dissatisfied with this dealership. I thought they were going to help me out and they will not cover it at all. I have to go out and purchase a new rim and tire for the one that’s damaged and cannot be fixed. I don’t think it’s fair that this only happened a month later and they will not even give me a spare tire to go with my car when it was suppose to be in there in the first place in case an emergency like this would happen to anyone. Just a heads up to anyone purchasing a car here.. to check the trunk for that extra spare tire!!! I wouldn’t recommend my friends or family to this dealership for the situation and problem that happened.

Bought F150 in October 2020. Took in for an oil change and was told there was damage to the oil pan. Called Bradens and was told they wouldn't repair it because they didn't know when damage occurred. Also found it had a Ford racing oil filter instead of a stock filter. So if it was thoroughly examined before sale, why was neither noticed? So what they are apparently suggesting is I'm lying, because their mechanics would never fudge a pre sale inspection!! Do not buy used vehicle here or have any repair work done!

Just had a great experience with the purchase of my f150 at James Braden Ford. The sales staff (Mike and Jordan) the manager (Jay) and the finance folks (Andrea, Aja and Craig) were all very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I had been in a couple times as I was debating trading in my ram 1500 and was unsure about switching to a ford. Mike and Jordan were great because they didn't pressure me but at the same time were more than willing to answer a million questions. I have to say I've been to many dealerships and I've never seen the business owner actually out on the floor making sure customers were looked after. I would absolutely recommend this dealership.

I took my 2017 F-150 to the service dept because of a clunking in the rear end, still under factory warranty, told that the clunking was because of undercoating on the leaf springs causing dirt buildup, they charged me $200.00 to spray break cleaner on them but offered to take them off and clean them properly for $1000, and told me that because of the undercoating this is not covered under warranty. Called Rust check and they have never heard of this problem and they have sprayed hundreds of ford F-150s. long story short, I am out 200 and there is still a clunking in the rear end.. time to try a another dealership.... Update.. James Braden asked me to come in again so I did, they stripped down the leaf springs, clean them and reassembled them, but still did not fix the problem and the knocking sound is still there, after a test drive with the mechanic, they refunded me the original amount of the first cleaning and are now working on the open ticket with Ford to find the real problem. a 5 star service from my first time and the first dealer that I have been to that wasn't afraid to admit that a mistake was made and are willing to find the fix for it..

Bought my first car here. Was told it was accident free... Until I was signing the papers. Told the car had winter tires. It did not. The cars warning lights all went off a day later because of no pressure sensors in the tires. When I asked to have them installed the sales person had a great deal on winter tires (the ones that should have been on my car) and that I should buy them and have the sensors put in those. I had to fight with him for the install after purchasing a 22K vehicle. I've never been so disgusted with such lack of service from anyone, anywhere. Would never recommend and will not be going back.

Was supposed to come with a winter maintenance package, as clearly discussed with Paul Poisson. It took him two years to fulfil the original sales requirements, still haven’t corrected the recalls on the F-150, and now I’m fighting for a discount that was applied at the beginning - which seems to have disappeared in regards to Paul’s direct interference. Not honest, not reliable- don’t waste your hard earned money on this dealer. I highly recommend the dealer out in Verona . Honest, upfront and no deceitful behaviour or undermining sales tactics. When we commit to our country and you provide a sales discount, one wouldn’t think you would purposely be deceitful and remove it because of a physical or mental health issue; in regards to work. Bottom line is, this dealerships’ priorities are very clear.

I purchased a 2019 Ford Escape from this dealership last November. I've been pleased with the vehicle and the service has been satisfactory also (a little pricey, but very thorough and never any issues). However, what pushed this experience over the top was the salesperson. I'd recommend Tyler Galivan to anyone; the process was the perfect mix of professionalism and laid-back/no-pressure that you want in a large purchase. After the sale he took the time to follow up and answer some questions about features; I even messaged him 6 months later to ask a question (how to get the car lights off when I was at a drive-in) and he responded instantly. This was my first time purchasing a car. I had been to 1 other dealership that completely tried taking advantage of me and was rude. I was recommended to James Braden where Steve helped me. He was beyond amazing. I told him what i was in the market for. He was patient with me. Never made me feel like i was wasting his time or annoyed if i didn't know something. He took his time to really listen to my needs. Once I found a vehicle I spoke with there Accounting department to go over the Leasing agreement. The women was so helpful and kind. I felt very unsure of myself and what i was doing, but everyone was great to explain everything and was so patient. Overall it was an amazing experience. I didn't feel like they where out to get my money, everyone felt like family. I have moved out of Kingston and been to a few other dealerships and to this day i have not received the amazing experience i received here.

This is the 2nd time purchasing a vehicle from JBF. First, on a recommendation from a friend, we bought a 2019 F150 in 2019. That was a very good experience including the good people in the service department over the next 2 years. Second was a 2021 Ranger. I was only there getting a oil change on the F150, and while waiting went over and looked at the Rangers. A nice young guy named Liam Whitbread approached us and started to chat. In talking to him and Paul Poisson, a quick appraisal done on our F150, 3 hours later we had just traded in our truck on the Ranger. Dealing with Paul, Liam and Michelle Beeton over in the financial services section, we walked away feeling that we were treated very well and got a good deal. If ever comes the time where we want trade in again, JBF will definitely be the dealership we will be going to.

Great at first, but if you don't buy now, their whole demeanor changes. After that experience will not go back. Drove 2hrs to see a vehicle that looked great online. Got to the dealership, vehicle was dirty outside, horrible inside. Vehicle looked like it was rented out and returned dirty. Animal nose prints in the side rear glass and sand or something granular everywhere, as well as dropped food between seats. Checked engine compartment, leaves and other debris everywhere. I am.not sure if they said it was maintained at their shop, bit the battery terminal had a little mountain of corrosion. Wasted gas and half my day on this. Shame on you all, really dropped the ball, James Braden Ford.

My wife, Joan, and I have recently become customers of James Braden Ford, having recently purchased a 2022 Ford Explorer ST. We are extremely pleased with our new vehicle. The sales person Tyler Gallivan has been wonderful throughout the whole process including follow-up and patience with our questions. We have owned various vehicles since 1963 and this is our 5th Explorer: 1992, 1999, 2006, 2013 and now 2022! Of all our dealings with salespeople over the last 59 years this is the first time that we have truly felt respected and cared for by one, Tyler! We made the deal with Tyler on December 13. He kept us posted regularly as we waited for the arrival of ST from Chicago via Toronto. At no time did we feel pressured to purchase, and we feel we got a reasonable trade-in value for our 2013. ST arrived on December 31 and Tyler called us within minutes of its arrival. We took possession on January 6. Tyler has called regularly even after having been driving ST now for only a week and we have called him with questions and he has made good suggestions or recommendations.
