Had $7K in work done through my insurance recently. These guys did a FANTASTIC job, I was very happy when I picked up my vehicle. I've had some bad experiences in the past with body shops but this time was such a relief. Special thanks to David H. for keeping me updated and for making this easy! Will never go anywhere but here as long as I live in Fort McMurray.

Wow, quite and experience. I had to get my sunroof replaced in my work truck. When I called they had found that the sunroof would be cheaper for me if I ordered it through the dealer parts Dept because we had an account there and they could only apply the discount there... great thanks. Had dropped my truck off but the dealership shipped the part to our shop. The guy that I was dealing with was not in but one of the guys from the back came out and the girl working in the front and helped sort it all out. They cleaned the glass up that had been broke and when I got in my vehicle it had been wiped down and was looking much nicer than when I had dropped it off. Although the experience was not flawless, the customer service was great and I would not hesitate repeat business at this location. Thanks!

They have signs in the waiting room priding themselves on “we will communicate with you if any delays occur” AND “you will be kept informed regarding the status of your vehicle” this is the furthest from the truth! My estimated pick up date was 5-6 days my car was there for 14+ days and I had to come back again. The disorganization and headaches I went through with this location is too long to type out. The customer service needs an upgrade. I had to call over and over again to get any information or my car would probably still be sitting there. I’m disappointed with what I went through. I was going to give 1 star, but I decided to give 2, only to be nice as they did end up getting my car fix and to me eventually, BUT only after I harassed with phone calls and with an upset tone. Sad...

I dropped my truck off for a small repair I was assured by my insurnace company my deductible was 250$ after summit gave me the quote I didn't sign it because it said 500$ deductible after explaining to the lady that this is exactly what Happend last time I was here for work and it was a mix up at the end for payment I really would like them to update the quote to say 250$ deductible but she assured me she would call my insurnace before the work was done and change it. Now I go to pick up my truck and it is not changed and I get a different lady who says she cannon release my truck till I pay the 500 $ deductible I try to explain to her but she wont even listen. I cant get my truck it's a long weekend now I have to take time off work to come back on tuesday ..

Not only does Carstar Fort McMurray do great collision and bodywork- but they also can repair hail damage using paintless dent repair or conventional bodywork as needed! I was very impressed with the work they did on my vehicle !

I would not recommend bringing your vehicle here. After my vehicle was hit i brought it here, the body work was ok but the mechanical was terrible. They miss diagnosed the problem and signed off on it without repairing the issue. When i got my vehicle back i noticed the problem was still there right away even though it was supposedly test driven. When i questioned them about the work i got a bunch of excuses about the milage on the vehicle and was basically told i dont know what i am talking about. They also completely neglected to replace the damaged hubcap. I would absolutely recommend you consider taking your vehicle elsewhere for repairs.

Brought my truck to Carstar in July 2020 was supposed to be a 18 day paint job will it was 3 months later before I got my truck back and the issue were unbelievable front bumper skirting was messing, the 2 back inside door handles was scratched up , drivers side window had issues going down , the front right side wheel well was missed up to the point that my stock size tires touched when I turned right , 3 out of 4 mud flaps was crooked and then when you try and talk to someone about these issues all I would here is Excuses I brought my vehicle back for 3 days to get the issues fixed and 1 out of all of the above issues was fixed and in the process they scratched up my new window tint that I had put on 3 days before I dropped off my truck back to them so now it’s November 23 and It’s still a ongoing process trying to get my truck repaired the way it should be

Had my SUV in for an insurance claim, everything went smoothly and was treated great, Tyrell met up with me after hours to give me my vehicle and said to me there is life time warranty on any work his team performs. A month and a half later all the clips that hold my valance came off and cause some minor damage and zip ties had to be used for the short term. Contacted Tyrell and his team and the professionalism and courtesy they showed is best in town! Met the tech who did the work on my vehicle and very apologetic and diagnosed the issue. They took care of everything! Even if there is better prices in town from other shop (don’t know if there is or not) I will stay loyal to Carstar as their customer service and customer care is 2nd to none. And will recommend Tyrell and his team to anyone cause i know they will be taken care of. One satisfied customer
