The best vehicle purchase experience I've ever had, and I've seen just about everything! I will admit, I'm definitly not a easy client to please. Unfortunately, I generally find purchasing vehicles anything but pleasant. Our company currently owns over 20 vehicles on the road, and I've personally bought over 50 throughout my life and career. The big difference here-Chris Carr the Sales Manager. He actually listened and gave me exactly what I asked for. I told him what I was looking for, I'm busy so I don't have much free time, and definitely none to waste. I also asked for different options for my specific requirements. He provided numerous options, great pricing to start, not the back and forth over and over, no pressure, no games-just straight professionalism, great service and terrific value. There was a issue with the truck a few days after purchase, something difficult to diagnose-a phantom raddle-which would drive me crazy not being resolved, and could of easily been dismissed by Jenner. I sent Chris a email-right away he replied back to me, lined everything up, service took care of it, even washed the truck and now it's perfect. Sure was nice even after the purchase, the sales rep being so attentive. This is my first dealings with Jenner, but won't be my last! Only the second time I had to take my well-running car into the dealer but, like last time, it was a pleasant experience. Elizabeth, who took my car in and settled my bill, was a joy to interact with and seemed to enjoy her job. My only quibble with the visit was there was no one cleaning cars nor was a coupon for a car wash offered, like my last visit. Also, my service coupon did not appear on the bill though I was assured the discount was applied. Still, an enjoyable place to pass an hour while waiting for service. An airy showroom allows for social distancing without a problem. You could also walk the yard and check out the stock on hand. I look forward to returning should I require dealer service again.

Driving from goldstream, I had the misfortune of running over a nail. I was able to put on my spare donut tire from the 6 mile shell gas station and drive to the Jenner Chevrolet in Langford. It was around 320ish and I was desperate to get a patch in my tire. The service was amazing and they offered to help me in such short notice even though I never made an appointment, or the fact that they were closing at 4. They were able to help me out in a pinch. Awesome service!

I just got more junk mail from Jenner reminding me of when I brought my 2010 Sierra in last year for an oil leak. The service man wasn't sure if it would be covered under the warranty but promised to call me in an hour after they had a look. Though the mileage was 44,000 we agreed that they could perform a 50,000K fluid change service at the same time. I went for a walk. 2 hours later I hadn't heard a thing so I called him. I was told this would all take 2 - 3 hours and warranty would cover a new seal. I would pay for the 50K service. OK. In the end it took all day. If I'd known I would have made arrangements to have been picked up. My cost for the 50K service was $750.oo Ouch. Bad form. 1. These guys know exactly how long this work takes. Or they should. They do it all the time. I should have been told straight up. 2. A phone call up date would have been so easy. I shouldn't need to call them. 3. A ball park estimate of the cost of a 50k fluid change service should have been mentioned so that I need not have the $700 shock when I picked it up. 4. I received no follow up call asking how I enjoyed my service experience. (Probably just as well, it wouldn't have been pretty. I will not go back to Jenner.

I have always received great service from the service department. I can especially recommend Steve, and also Willi. Willi once helped us out (I think on Christmas Eve) with engine light coming on in our Terrain. I believe the service department was closed at the time and Willi said just to keep calling him back and he talked us our on the problem over the phone. Steve has also always been very helpful any time we cam in for service. I also should mention John Reid who was terrific in helping to buy our new Equinox, with which we are really happy with.and same ro Brad Leipsig in Finance, who at each time we purchased a vehicle, gave excellent advice on the alternative plans (BCAA, On Star, etc).Overall, we have recommended Jenner to others and have always been extremely completely satisfied with both service and sales. Recently my truck required warranty service, when I called the Jenner Service Department the consultant who answered the call was polite and thorough, after she had recorded the particulars and made sure I was fine with the time and an appointment was set up. I arrived and Willi B. greeted me and confirmed all of the particulars, he arranged transportation back home. He called and kept me up to date, explaining exactly what needed to be done and when the work would be complete. Whether it was a general service, warranty work or simply a question about the car, Jenner Service has been excellent when taking care of my GM vehicles, completing the work on time, done right with minimum interruption to my schedule. We all know things can break, but it is comforting to know that you have somewhere to take your vehicle for quality servicing in or out of warranty, IMHO an easy recommendation to make.

As a long time customer, I have always received excellent service both from sales and the service departments. Only recently I returned from vacation, with the car needing an oil change, but before i could schedule one, I suddenly had to go to Calgary. the very next day. I dropped in on the service department, and though it was very busy, they slipped me in for the oil change and the once over inspection before I hit the road again. Just bought a new truck here. Salesman (Ali Zeidan) was super friendly,helpful and not pushy at all. Answered all my questions honestly and was very knowledgeable of what to keep a close eye on regarding future maintenance. He was a little mistaken on some of the features that my truck had, which was a little disappointing to find out after the fact but not a big deal. Financial associate (forgot his name) was informative and not overly pushy regarding warranties etc. Sales Manager (Chris Carr) was very helpful in arranging the smooth transition of buying out my existing lease. Just got raped by the maintenance department and their bogus maintenance agreement. $500 for absolutely nothing, I would not be in the least bit surprised if they just parked the damn thing in their garage and went for lunch! They could have and should have done a little detailing for that money but the car was messy and the service was all but invisible performance-wise! I recently brought my car in to Jenner to have some work done on it. I bought my car at Jenner in 2016, and have loved it. I had an appointment later in the week to have my car fixed at Jenner, but by Wednesday, I was worried it wouldn’t make it until my appointment on the Friday. I phoned Chris at repairs and he told me to bring it in as soon as I could, and he would see if he could squeeze me in sooner. Hours later, Chris phoned me and let me know he had all the parts needed to do the repair and asked if I wanted to go ahead with it. He also phoned various warranty services on my behalf to get me the best deal possible. Not only was my vehicle ready the same day, the repair was 500 dollars less than I had originally thought. I really felt like the team worked hard to help me with my personal circumstances (I work multiple shifts/jobs in town and live in Langford, so bussing really isn’t an option for me. I would absolutely recommend this repair outlet and thank Chris for all his hard work!

A Sincere Thank You, Fred Jenner. I am visiting here from up Island. I'm 71 and Hubby is in hospital. Yesterday, Sunday, my Terrain would not start. Click. Funny happening clicks. It was frosty so I tried again later when it had warmed up. Click, nothing. I got out, locked it then later went to try again. I could not even get into the car. Panic. On line, I saw Jenner is closed on Sunday so I sent an email to ask for advise. Bless you Fred Jenner for answering email on Sunday. Fred wrote suggesting I call BCAA for a boost, perhaps the battery had failed and to bring the vehicle in. Today, Totem Truck with BCAA gave me a boost, then I called Jenner Service. Mike answered. could he fit me in. Yes. I drove to Jenner where I spoke with Sherry. She remembered me from a former visit last February (leaky tire) She reassured me they would find and fix the problem and I could wait in the lounge. Sherry told me the battery had failed, and a new battery would be installed shortly. I can honestly say that Mike and Sherry and the Service people have been superb in looking after me so quickly. I have every confidence that my experience today, similar to my experience on my last visit to Jenner, should I need something done on my Terrain, I can count on them to help. Thank you.

Bought a truck from here in October of 2014. Both salespeople I dealt with fit the stereotype - pushy, talked a lot but didn't say much and didn't actually have a lot of knowledge of the product (Could not figure out how to operate or activate OnStar or program the radio and couldn't track down a manual). I really liked the truck but they weren't open to negotiating on price at all until I showed them an offer from another dealership for a comparable. The truck had a sensor broken and it was supposed to be fixed when I picked it up, but it wasn't. It took four months of follow up to finally get them to arrange to fix it. Having said all that, the inspection report they gave me on the vehicle was true to the condition of the vehicle and I've had no issues since I bought it.

Bought a 07 Chevy Express 2500. Drove it for 1 year and the transmission started to whine. Under the expert advice from the service department they told me to replace the transmission. ~$5000.00 later and the transmission got replaced. Roughly 50,000kms later the transmission needs replacing again. Jenner tells me “there is nothing we can do for you I will have to pay out of pocket to replace the transmission again.” Stay away from this place they will take your money and leave you stranded.

We took our truck into the service department for regular maintenance, I like being able to book an appointment online and then receive an, email confirmation back, its very handy when your always on the go. Was able to drop the truck of the day before with the use of key drop service, left service instructions on the envelope. I was pleased to see Mr. Gray followed up with a phone call to explain everything they planned on doing and gave us a quote on the work. It ended up being more then we originally thought but that was no fault of Mikes. His technician also found a leaky oil hose that needed to be fixed as well, lucky that part was still under warranty.

So far my experience at Jenner has been excellent. My first experience with Justin was informative, and at no point did I feel pressured to buy at that time, which was great, I wasn't ready to yet. I came back today to find out how long I would have before the Scrap-It vouchers ran out, and weather or not I'd be able to make a purchase before then. Thankfully things so far have worked out, and it looks like my first Brand New Car will come from Jenner! Brad was also super helpful and efficient when checking for approval for financing, and made the process simple. For anyone looking for a more relaxed and friendly sales atmosphere, and great customer service from a Dealership that puts its customers first, I definitely recommend Jenner. If you're in need of service for your vehicle, or have a question, their staff are more than happy to assist you. When my parents came to town to visit, they were having trouble with the key fob for their Sonic. Their first stop was Wheaten Chevrolet, who told them they would need to book an appointment to sort the issue out. When they went to Jenner, the first person they spoke to took the fob and used their diagnostic tool, and fixed the problem (The battery was in backwards) without any hassle. Overall this is the best experience you can get when going to a dealership!

Watch out for the bait and hook. I have repeatedly received emails from Andrew regarding my vehicle for-sale ad on UsedVictoria. The first line of my ad reads "No commercial contact please", as I have experienced this scenario before. The sales reps start off by offering to buy your vehicle, cash! The rep promises that you'll walk out with a big fat cheque and a smile on your face. However, when you insist that you are not interested in trading up and already have a replacement vehicle, suddenly the communication stops. These guys may think that an email or 2 or 3 is no harm no foul, the false information is certainly this. Slimey sales tactics, wasting my time with false offers. Buyer beware.

This is my experience dealing with Jenner. I was told my truck was done and ready to be picked up so I proceded to take time off work and organize a ride to the dealership. After paying my bill I was pleased with the service, however....when I go to leave my truck will NOT go into gear, it has a check engine light, and I'm stranded whith no way of getting home. I'm frustrated but obviously there's nothing I can do so I ask them to put it back in the shop and let me know what they find. After a week of no contact from them I had to call and investigate. Turns out my vehicle (which I heavily rely on) could have been fixed days ago! except that they mixed up my information with another customers. Ok fair enough mistakes happen, not the end of the world. This is where they REALLY tried to SCREW me. When I picked up my truck the 2nd time I was informed that there was a check engine light on due to my egr delete kit (which has never had any sort of problem before taking it to Jenner) and that they're GM certified technician's and 1000$$$ diagnosistic equipment could not fix the problem and I would need to replace my whole egr kit. Well either they're liers, scammers, or bad technician (which I don't think) because I was able to do everything they couldn't, using a cheap scanner in under 30 seconds at home. So if your looking for unnecessary trips to the dealership, hidden problems (that were never a problem before) and being lied to I highly recommend them for that!

Were unwilling to break down a biweekly payment for me based on our agreed number after days of communication unless I submitted a credit app. Hard ball tactics. So no information to consider. Having been in the industry for almost 20 years and having purchased many vehicles in my years I have never been treated with such indifference. They simply didnt care to put any effort into actually trying to EARN my business. Would not recommend them. Very disappointing experience.

The entire process of purchasing our truck was seamless and the staff were excellent. Ali our salesman went out of his way to ensure everything happened according to plan and schedule. Super knowledgeable about the truck even though it was another make (used). Even when there was an issue with the TPMS (missing), phoned up Ali and it was taken care of right away. Haven't had a chance to go to the service department yet but if they are anything at all like the sales department, I have no worries. My fiance and I went into Jenner after my SUV finally kicked the bucket. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted. Our salesperson, Ali came over and offered his assistance right away. I was impressed by his willingness to hear out our requests and show us what we were looking for without putting undue pressure or trying to upsell. When we showed interest in the upgraded model he was very honest and compared both vehicles side by side to show the exact differences. We came in with a quote from a different dealership and Ali was somehow able to improve upon this offering a better discount and interest rate. This was of course not necessary but very much appreciated by us and certainly helped lock the sale. He ensured that the rest of the process was smooth and that we were looked after, even staying after the dealership closed to make sure we were happy and understood all the features of our new SUV. He was so friendly and considerate and funny. Everyone was awesome but Ali really made an impact and made the process even better. Highly highly recommended.

Willi was top notch even making it to work from Duncan on a snow day.. I was there for an oil change, fuel filters and a wheel alignment. New tires the week before so wanted to make sure all was good. They had to replace some steering parts all of which were in stock which you won't find at a regular service shop. Had to leave the truck but they offered a cab. Not needed but the offer was there!! Thanks again to Willi and the service tech's. They know what they're doing. I have a GMC Terrain and needed an oil change. Called to book an appointment, which is 2 weeks away, that's fine - I know they're busy. And confirm my appointment for 8:40am for an oil change. I get to the shop at 8:20am, and told the oil change can take up to 2 hours. I go for a walk, check out McD's for a coffee and come back at 10:10 and see my SUV still in the shop. It finally rolls out at at 10:15. The staff is friendly, but waiting for a simple oil change is what gets me. I have a booked appointment but still have wait close to 2 hours. This isn't the first time we had an oil change here - this seems to be the norm. But I trust the techs at Jenner, and will still keep coming back.

Poor service. Three times I had scheduled appointment times of 10:00 am but was told at drop off they wouldn’t be looking at my truck until sometime in afternoon. I was stuck waiting as there is no shuttle or courtesy vehicle. Second, my truck’s problem of vibration during driving was diagnosed as unbalanced wheel even after two separate wheel balancing plus new tires. Third, service manager said they would use special equipment to test drivetrain but Jenner didn’t, they only took truck for road test. The problem still exists and they have no idea or desire to do anything about it before the extended warranty expires.

I had the unfortunate experience of running into a curb with my little 2016 Spark and as a consequence started hearing an odd noise from the back of the vehicle. Concerned that I might have damaged something that could impact on the car's drivability I called Jenner on April 13 in the afternoon and spoke to Steve Salmon, the service advisor and even though they were totally booked for the following Monday he said bring it in and we will try to fit it in for you. They did exactly that and thankfully I hadn't done any significant damage to the car and was told that I didn't have to worry about anything happening while I was driving the car. This was a big relief to me! I really appreciated them fitting me in to a busy schedule and I always enjoy my interaction with Steve. He is personable, knows his clients and always manages to make me laugh. It is a pleasure to deal with him and the rest of the Jenner staff.

This was my first new car, although I have bought plenty of used ones at dealerships. My wife and I bought a new Saturn just before they were discontinued. We have dealt with Baljet and Wheaton, and where somewhat less than impressed with either. Jenner has excellent sales and finance people. They made us right at home. I have been getting parts from Bill and Peter in Parts for years. They know their products front and back, new and old, very, very well. The service people often can get me in on a drop in basis, which is helpful. We never had a warranty claim problem with our Saturn with Jenner, and so far, no troubles with the new Cruze. If you are thinking of buying a GM on the island, I would recommend that you start at Jenner.

A horrible place for service. Booked our car in for service with ample warning. They knew my wife and new baby needed a ride. As much as i understand things happen and we all get behind sometimes communication is needed. An alternative couldve been suggested. Instead 50 mins later she is still left standing there with zero communication. When asked about an alternative or what is happening they simply say we are busy. This is no way to earn someones business. We will happily never return! I would recommend searching for a different option when servicing your vehicle. I just bought a used and new to me 2015 used Honda Fit from Jenner and was impressed with the good service throughout the process, from Chris, the manager, who responded to my emails over a long weekend when they were closed, to Phil Hines, the sales rep who helped throughout the process, and the financial managers who completed the sales documents. I have an aversion to dealing with dealers for used cars, but was completely satisfied with my experience. Rather than haggle over price, they asked me what I wanted to pay and told me whether they could meet the price or not. Surprisingly, they said yes, and I got a good price on a great car.

Came to Jenner with my mom for some recalls on her Acadia, was really dissapointed by the service. They had quoted it would take "a couple hour" and it took almost the whole day, over 4 hours... I understand these things can run longer than anticipated but it made for a huge inconvenience and there was little acknowledgement of this. They never offered to give us a ride anywhere or lend a courtesy car. It was pouring raining my mom is in her 50s.If it is going to take 2-5 hours let us know that, I don't mind waiting but I would like to be prepared for a 5 hour wait ahead of time. Again, it would be different if they were not aware of the recall lists that needed to be done but they were and if you are not sure give us a better idea than "a couple of hours" he even said there was no suprises so why we were not prepared appropriate ahead of time is beyond me... the service guy was nice but that really didn't make up for it.

I took my car to GM Jenner in Colwood after experiencing some rear end wobbling. The foreman mechanic came out with me to test drive the car and later put my car up on the hoist and checked it out. They quoted me $3400 dollars total (parts and labour) to have both rear control arms replaced. I brought my car to a different shop in town, they checked it out and discovered two loose bolts on my rear control arms. No issues at all with the actual control arms. He tightened them, and charged me 90 bucks for labour. Car is driving like new. Do not go to GM Jenner - this place is a scam.

When I showed them proof I keep up with all maintnance they told me that doesn't matter because I am required to put oil in between changes. They want me to pay to fix the equinox because they make more money off me then they can off warrenty. I have baught 4 vehicles and got ppl to buy 6 all new gms from Jenner but never again will I send anyone to these theives. Please stay far away from the service department

I had a terrible experience with the folks in the parts department a week or two ago. Both of the men I delt with were extremely difficult to communicate with and one of them literally yelled and argued with me on the phone. He were SO rude I was crying and the interaction threw me into a panic attack. This man also claimed to be the manager (super yikes). I can assure you, to whoever is reading this, I get along with EVERYONE. One of the parts employees then called me back to apologize for their coworker stating that the coworker "thought I was someone else" - really?! So I guess this is not an unusual experience for them. lied about the vehicle i purchased. sold me a 151 point inspected 3 year bumper to bumper warranty FJ with a bent frame.took advantage of the MVSA being useless an refused to do anything with all the signs even after i had it inspected, measured and showed them the report. Only option I was given was to trade the fj in on a Tahoe I didn't want with bad tires and 120 000 kms. In the end the dealer cost me $54000 for the Tahoe plus 200 for warranty work (yes factory warranty work from gm that should be free). plus tires($1400) plus time. do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

My wife and I experienced a sudden ignition problem with our 2011 Chevrolet AVEO. The keg was stuck in the ignition and would not turn in order to shut off the engine. We immediately called Jenner Chevrolet Buick GMC and the service department prioritized the AVEO. Of note: the service department contracted a lock smith to do an ignition cylinder repair and in doing so saved us time and money. The estimated cost for new parts was $ 700.00 US with an approximately 5-day delivery. My wife and I are very pleased the servicing was completed the same day with significant savings. The service consultant was very pleasant and attentive in dealing with the situation. We would strongly recommend this dealership to anyone requiring vehicle servicing.

If you get a quote make sure there's a signature confirming the price or they will charge you way over what they quoted. This is definitely not a friendly, courteous, helpful place to do business. Go to Wheaton, they are much more willing to work with you. Wheaton cares for the customer where as Jenner couldn't care less. This is my personal experience, it could be different for someone else. I was greeted by your professional, courteous staff when I took my GMC Sierra in for servicing. The shuttle service was not available that morning but Jenner arranged a courtesy ride so I didn't have to wait for the servicing to be completed.
