Being a Toyota person for many years I ventured out to explore the Ford F-150 line. With a fair amount of skepticism on American brands I had done some research and decided to go for a visit at Glen Oak Ford. I meta nice salesperson there named Robert. Robert showed me around the various models and was open to any negative downplaying I may have had and instead allowed me to explore why Ford had such a good name in their truck line. I enjoyed my experience there very much and would highly recommend Robert as a great salesperson to assist you when you visit Glen Oak Ford.

Very poor customer service with Mustangs and anything to do with Whipple Engines. Not happy at all at their management & service. Too bad all 3 local dealerships are owned by same person. Glad I can take my Mustang to the lower mainland.

The big issue with the service is that the service department has promised me on my last three visits to notify me when the servicing is completed. They have failed to give me a call as promised. To make it more frustrating they do not answer the phone. I called several times to book and find out my car status but no one in the service department answers the phone. I stood outside the service department seeing that there were no customers being served and called the service department for a status update but no one answered the phone. They procedures seem to be just work from recorded messages from customers. For my last visit I had to actual visit the service department to find out about details of my appointment given that I could not reach them by phone. With being an out of town customer it would save me a lot of time and effort if the service department would follow through on their promise to notify me when the care was ready for pickup.

Purchased our 2019 Ford Edge SEL in Dec 2019, from Glenoak Ford. Sales Representative was excellent, a good listener and very knowledgeable. Communication with the Service Department also gets a high grade. Any issues we have with are car are not with the Dealership, but rather the Form Motor Company of Canada (FMC). This is the reason for the 4-star rating. Just a few months after we purchased the car we noticed one of the elements in the rear window defroster did not work causing a line of ice that would not melt. The service Dep't was willing to help, but needed authorization from FMC to replace the rear window. FMC would only authorize installing an overlay on the window, which would have looked cheap and unsightly. Not want we wanted for our new car. I sent FMC two letters over the past several months asking them to approve replacing the rear window, but our letters have been ignored. Now we just noticed a tiny bit of rust developing beside the door handle. We wonder how that complaint is about to be handled by FMC. The people at the dealership are great. But the vehicle and FMC are suspect.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Last year I had a good experience here and decided to return, which was a big mistake. Glenoak Ford does not care about the customer, the dollar is their only concern. They are constantly trying to upsell, add fees and expenses at inflated costs while trying to cut their costs. I had a full set of brakes done here which was quoted one price with everything included that was supposed to be the maximum and then it ended up a lot more when all was said and done even after they applied "discounts" as they just re-inflated the cost with additional labor charges. Instructions were clear from the start that parts were to be Ford and yet they still tried to cut cost to themselves by trying to put generic parts on hoping the customer wouldn't notice. Unfortunately for them the generic wouldn't fit properly (which led to a 2 day delay without my vehicle while the proper parts came in). The service department failed to take responsibility for the inconvenience for not having the appropriate parts even though the appointment was setup almost a month in advance and all that they could say when questioned about why they tried to put generic parts on was "I don't know." When going in to pickup the vehicle the parts rep was explaining the invoice to us and her Manager, Murray came over aggressively and started yelling at us saying we didn't know what we were talking about and then rudely walked away. Ford has lost a customer for life through the unprofessional and inappropriate way that Murray conducted himself and the unethical business practices at this dealership.

Super pleased that when a rear signal light burned out on a friend's car that I was driving while visiting Victoria, I was just able to drop into Glenoak Ford and the Parts Advisor ,Stephen, had the bulb replacement for around $5 and installed it no charge. I was able to get safely back on the road again in less than 10 minutes. Super friendly and helpful service. Very nice to deal with. Happy with my experience there.

Charged $278 on estimate for F350 which needs one new injector. No signatures, no communication pre inspection. Was told the truck would not be looked day of appointment by mid afternoon. Service staff blamed the girls that take the calls. When picking up the truck service staff was ignorant, threw the invoice at time of complaint, was told to take business elsewhere which is what I will be doing.

I took it down the road to Suburban and got outstanding service. I wouldn't recommend Glen Oak for any service support. Went in to see about buying a new Escape. Amir was great to deal with. The whole sales experience was very positive. No pressure sales, and Paul Wallace seems to have the whole crew working together. I would highly recommend their sales department if you are considering a new vehicle

Never give Glen Oak Ford any of your business. I took our vehicle there for some recall work. When I got my vehicle back from them the front alignment was incorrect, and despite multiple attempts to contact the dealership they haven't responded to me. The scary thing is all work done was on the rear end of the vehicle, so I have no idea why my car now pulls to the right, you can clearly see the right front tire toe is out. It took them 2 days to respond to a text message, so far the email I sent a couple days ago has gone ignored as well. This is not how you take care of a client, Glen Oak intentionally left my car in an unsafe state putting not only myself but my children and risk.

I am pleased with the vehicle. I am very displeased with the sales experience. the sales rep who took "care" of me pushed really hard for the sale, not wanting to let me go shop around, especially since he knew I needed to buy a vehicle (my previous car had died a few days earlier)! I don't hold that against him since after all he is a salesman. But that was despite my obvious struggle with the finances, he kept coming back with different numbers and payment options that confused me a lot, and eventually he came up with a combination of downpayment + bi-weekly payment that did not seem too bad. So of course on the spot I thought it was finally "a good deal" and we shook hands. I learned to like the car, so the bad sale experience feeling went away, but I ran into several issues after the sale : gas consumption much higher than advertised, rush walk around the vehicle (where they are supposed to show you how every little thing works, like bluetooth, lights, etc.) when I took possession a few days after purchase. None were addressed, since they already had my money, I was not worth their time anymore! These people are not interested in you or your experience. Just your money.

Robert Z and the rest of the team (from the floor manager to the money man to the insurance woman) made my recent (normally) stressful experience of new car purchasing actually pleasant. The only positive of this place was the helpful staff. Other than that, would never recommend. Took our vehicle in for maintenance every 6 months (3 - 4 times until we finally had enough). Each time it was something new. Either they'd leave their garbage in the car, or they'd change all our settings, or they'd lie about fixing something. Took the car in THREE times to have ONE simple item fixed. First they lied about fixing it, then they lied about testing it (it still didn't work), then they LIED ABOUT TESTING IT AGAIN (it's still not working, but I'm not taking it back to them). Now I question whether they EVER performed proper maintenance on the car or not. Never going back and never recommending this place.

We had to stop in here during our road trip to have our brakes looked at before we could leave town and head home to Alberta. Bill Thompson got us booked in asap and had a technician go over our brakes, steering and drive train to make sure everything was tip top before we left for home. They had our rotors machined and a nail removed from a tire the same day. Bill didn't even charge us full price for the job! Thanks to Glenoak Ford we were able to safely make it home without having to worry about our vehicle. Too bad we can't give a negative star rating for service! Too many bad things to say about the lies and errors! I paid full price for an incomplete repair at a time I needed good service more than ever, they almost ruined me! Left me feeling like I stepped on a rusty nail, slipped and landed in a sewage outfall swamp where infection could really fester! I thought I could trust this dealership to do a good job! I needed the availability you had! And I was misled and taken advantage of! If I had any idea i'd be run around like that I would have been better off standing on the corner with my hands out while I waited for a trust worthy shop time!!! If wanted a cheap fix I would have shopped around and Probably would have seen better service at the very least! I asked pretty nicely to have my truck fixed properly and paid handsomely for it in full! Still waiting for the job to be completed! I had to do the major problems myself while tending to new twin babies a toddler and a wife who had a major surgery, all while running a business with an actual passion to produce a good value and service! You're staff fed Lies! Everything I asked for was charged to me but not actually completed!Glenoak cannot be trusted for service! I couldn't fit all the details in one review so I just want to hit the high notes. Lies, and runaround. Period! This issue has not been resolved! I have been able to resolve all the problems at additional cost from a reliable source. Was pretty nicely to have the job I paid for completed! Too bad it took paying for it twice, but I guess thats what it takes when this service manager would rather make excuses and more work without any direct answers to simple questions. In my experience, Glenoak DT is a joke! (Service department) have no experience with sales and though I will most likely be staying with Ford trucks for their overall performance and dependability as a work truck, I will not be supporting this facility in any way! I don't feel that good about sharing my experience in this way, but it haunts me daily. I don't like the general replies to complaints here, you have my number! You had it before I walked in! I like my ford trucks, I have had no problems with suburban motors service on other occasions for separate issues, honest and reliable service at suburban from experience. Mr. Bower (Parts) is genuinely courteous, meticulous about his work and his diligence greatly facilitated my visit to Glenoak Ford. The same can be said for every member of the team in Service who had new rims and tires professionally installed and provided beneficial feedback on the care of my Mustang. A respectful nod to Mr. Owen in Service who was able to identify a small plastic part found under my car's passenger seat months ago. Mr. Owen actually came-out to my car and confirmed its use. Still trying to get a slow battery drain item fixed and am into this for two years now. Unbelievable to get the response "we don't keep records on what work was done, that's the customer's responsibility" imagine if your doctor or dentist did this.

I was happy with the service I received from them, mind you they tried to get me to take a model on the lot, but I went in knowing what features I wanted and they brought one over from the mainland within 2 weeks. Only 13k on it, so I was very happy. When it was time for my first service they called me to book it and will cover a cab ride one way up to $15. My only problem is they won't clean the vehicle. I feel that is something people are perfectly capable of doing and other places that have had less work to do on my car have cleaned it for me, without me asking. If they offered car cleaning I would give them 5 stars.

I found a nice almost new truck at a competitive price at Glenoak. The salesperson was new to Ford so didn't know much about the truck but was certainly friendly enough and responded to my questions and e-mails. We did a test drive and were able to agree on a price without much difficulty. The purchasing process was also smooth. Unfortunately when my wife and I took the vehicle for a longer drive on the highway we noticed a loud, high pitched hum and vibration. By the time we finished the two hour drive we knew something was wrong. Glenoak took the vehicle back, as it is under full warranty, and rotated the tires. This made no difference. The Glenoak salesperson suggested taking it to a tire place. We took it to our mechanic who we know and trust and he immediately said we have soft winter tires that are not made to use in other seasons or even on the coast 95% of the time. He said that anyone in the business would know that these tires are not an option for Victoria and we would need to spend another $1000 or so for new tires. So the truck was inspected by the Glenoak mechanics 2x and we were never told we were considering purchasing an almost new truck with inappropriate tires. It is hard not to believe that the tire problem was well known at Glenoak. If it the tire issue was raised we would have discussed it during the price negotiation and so it just wasn't mentioned. I expected more from a local Ford dealership. This is more what I would expect then looking at used cars on a lot in Surrey. I can't recommend Glenoak Ford.

Everytime I come in for servicing I wonder to myself how there can be such a vast difference between 2 dealerships under the same ownership. Every interaction at suburban has had some sort of failure whether minor or major charged services that were never done damage to my trucks etc I have never have left suburban feeling good about it ive been a non stop customer Since I got my drivers license 14 years ago and these two extremes have never changed. My family purchased a used 2010 Ford Escape from Glenoak Ford just before Christmas of last year and hadn’t had the chance to try the air-conditioner until late April and was very disappointed to find it wasn’t working. I called Glenoak and spoke to the General Sales Manager Paul Wallace and explained our situation to him. Although the three-month warranty had expired Paul took into account that I hadn’t used it owing to the cold spring we have had, and replaced our air-conditioner at no cost to us. Awful! I don't blame the salespeople, its the directive from the ownership group. They want the salespeople pushing sales. So instead of listening to what you say they are blindly writing down my name, address into the sales form slip. All I was interested in was to know what trade in value they would offer to pay for the truck. Very pushy, "So, what will it take so I will give you the keys and you can drive the car we just test drove today." It's sad, they actually pushed me to go to another dealership. Ended going and buying a Mazda. I guess that ended my Ford relationship. Had purchased 2 trucks from them in the past. Never again.

I have delt with a lot of Ford dealerships over the years, over 2 provinces, and I have to say, this is ultimately the best one I have ever been to. The service area was great and got a part fixed that I was told couldn't be fixed. Great staff in all areas of the dealership. Would highly recommend this place if you have a Ford vehicle and need service or repairs or if you're looking to buy a new vehicle.

If there is option for 0 star then they earn the 0 star. One of the dirtiest dealer I have ever deal with. They lied and lied to get my signature on their "pre-approval" paper and put me in their application for credit which I didn't agree to do so. When I called in to ask why the financial manager P**** who didn't explain a thing and started personal attack to get me to hang up. Thanks for doing nothing but make my effort of credit rebuilding all down the drain and the personal attack. This experience make me know there is still places that do shady business doesn't matter how big they are.

We have had a Ford Flex since 2009 - we recently traded in our 2009 for a 2017. We looked at all the SUV's on the market and they all look the same. None of them could compete with the room and the drive of the Flex. We have also always taken our car to the Glenoak service Dept. They are prompt, courteous and very thorough. They explain what needs to be done and why.

They brought in my F150 in the colour i had to have with the features i wanted so quickly (1 day) and were very responsive to all my questions . Here’s an edit I went back to Glenoak and bought a fabulous Ford Edge Titanium in the most beautiful faded, metallic blue colour. I love my Edge. My husband and I came to them from another dealer as their inventory had some vehicles we were interested in, and right from the beginning they made a great impression. After some discussion we opted for a different vehicle than we originally had in mind, and the gentlemen we worked with pulled out every stop imaginable to acquire it for us. My husband and I each had one very specific feature we wanted, and I'd searched the extended inventory online to discover only one car in the area with the features we wanted. Even with the source dealership of our ideal vehicle proving a challenge to work with, the men at Glenoak rose above the challenge and did everything possible to get us the car we wanted. In 2018 I had a spark plug fly out of my engine on the Malahat. Took it to this place and the next day I picked up my 00 Eddie Bauer with the job complete. They told me they tested the rest of my engine and it was running beautifully. Now I have a 11 LTD MAX.5.4 that is getting VCT solenoids and gaskets replaced. Let's see how it goes. Thanks team.

Everyone is friendly, the guys in the service department are super nice but I am disappointed in the high prices to have things done on my car. Let’s use brakes for an example. I was quoted 500$ for two brake pads. I called some other places to get quotes... they are all HALF THE PRICE!! So I’m not a fan of that. Also my husband has been trying to talk to someone from Ford and ask a few questions about our car, when he does get to talk to someone, he gets transferred to another person then that person tells him to talk to another guy. Eventually he talks to the right person to answer the questions and the guy says “oh, I’ll call you back” no one ever calls back (this happened twice). My husband calls back and then the same guy can’t even answer the questions he has! Then says “I’ll call you back”... again! No call back. It’s been over a week. We just gave up. I’ll take my car to get serviced at Ford but that’s about it.

I have bought now 5 vehicles from Ford the last truck I bought I prepaid for all maintenance and also bought there full warranty. The problem with this is that everything that has gone wrong with any parts they have not warrantied it and have said its due to circumstance's of the driver not the part. Fair enough except last time there was no problem and they even tried to charge me foe a service which I prepaid. We will not be buying our vehicles for our company anymore through Ford

The sales team and sale manager are great to deal with and are straight forward in the deal they present. I never have felt like I've been taken advantage of or not valued as a customer. I only gave 4 stars in the review as I find the basic service costs a bit high. But that's Ford corporate, not that dealer. UPDATE: The problem wasn't fixed and they said it was "Normal", got frustrated and went to the sales department and told them I want to sell my "Normal" car (except the issue, it is in perfect shape), the manager said he would be willing for a trade-in but he won't buy my car. I took my Focus for the transmission issues. It was still under the extended warranty so they replaced the clutch for free. When I picked the car up, I noticed that the car was vibrating on idle. I told them that I hadn't had this problem before the service and they booked me to retorque the clutch nuts. This time someone walked with me and told me that it feels smoother but Focuses and Fiestas vibrate anyways! So my car still vibrates which is extremely annoying!! I called Ford Canada but they have no answers for me so far as the dealership has not returned their call yet.

Was looking to buy a used vehicle on trade from them. Made it very clear after initial visit that our limit was 14,500 + gst/pst, with the trade. We also made it clear that we didn't wan't to come back to the dealership and get haggled. So we returned to the dealership, did a test drive, negotiated a few items, and thought we were good to go. To our surprise, the final bill of sale had an extra 400 (ish) for warranty and 600 (ish) for documentation fees. We had previously asked about warranty and were told it had a 30% coverage for 90 days by the dealer, with no mention of a cost associated with that. There were many opportunities for them to be up front with their 'fees' before we were getting ready to write the cheque. What seemed like a straightforward negotiation turned shady at the 11th hour. They wouldn't remove the fees, so we walked out, never to return. Update +1 day: Based on the comment by the dealership (which btw has changed since their original post), I called back to make amends and talked to the sales manager. I was prepared to buy the vehicle assuming they removed the extra fees and apologized for their tactics. He was cold and unapologetic and I guess wasn't aware of what had been posted here (he said it must have posted by his boss). He said "people can post whatever they want on Google Reviews", implying that my original post was somehow not truthful. Needless to say the call didn't last long. These guys must attend the United Airlines school of public relations.

Well after being flat out lied to about a warranty claim saying it’s unfixable. Then when I came in for the last service before warranty they told me it was now repairable but couldn’t replicate the problem. As I return it multiple times, they then find the problem and ask me to pay a portion as warranty is over. Saying that ten days before warranty isn’t enough to be covered. We had to prove that we were pushed off 5 months earlier and told we couldn’t get it fixed. When it was sorted they were sheepish and unapologetic for wasting our time. Never returning again.

GlenOak Ford Service guys are great; polite, usually in good humour to all customers, and accurate with maintenance wait times! However, when replacement tires, parts, have to be shipped to Victoria from out of province ( which seems to be the norm) service can take days, repeated trips to the dealership and thus more TIME, road miles, fuel, than I have ever used with previous vehicles. With a 2.5 year old Ford Escape, I have spent more time at the Service Department already than I did with my Cadillac in 14 years!

Took my 2016 F350 in for a check engine light on. They made an appointment for 9 am Monday March 8. I arrived at 8:40 am. The service advisor asked if mid afternoon was ok. I told her, no I was waiting for it. She said they would try to get to it as soon as possible. While on vacation in Victoria our Air conditioning belt broke on our F350 diesel pickup. Installment of that belt is not an easy task. The service staff told us leave the truck with them and they would get the job done for us even though they were very busy. We dropped the truck off mid morning, and by mid afternoon they had the truck fixed while we did some touring around Victoria harbor. The bill was very reasonable and less than their estimate. The service staff was very friendly and courteous and even gave us advice on things to see while we waited.

I am a long time customer but I was very disappointed this visit. In July, I took my summer tires in to be installed. In October, my tire pressure sensors failed. I made an appointment to have this issue dealt with. I live on the Gulf Islands so getting my car there involves a 4 a.m. wake up and 2 1/2 hour ferry trip each way. Dropped the car off and hung about until 1:00. Finally I called and was told my car was ready. Don’t know why I wasn’t called earlier as they know I have to catch a ferry back to the Islands. However, I went to pick up my car and was surprised and upset to learn the sensor issue hadn’t been dealt with, as I needed new tires- apparently the tires I had installed in July were too old. They came with the car and were almost new. However, the material deteriorates I was told. Ok - I get that, but it might have been a courtesy to tell me this in July when I paid to have them installed. It also might have been a good idea to phone me while I sat in a coffee shop waiting for my car to be repaired, to tell me that I needed new tires, so the job could have been done that day. I really don’t have the time to spend yet another whole day coming back to town to have my tires replaced - a job that should have been done in July. The excuse I was given is that “the sensor parts would need to be ordered anyway” didn’t sit well, as I had made an appointment several days earlier to have the sensors replaced. It would have been logical to order the parts before I got there. All my past dealings with this shop have been courteous and efficient. They dropped the ball badly this time. I have been inconvenienced, paid for having tires installed that shouldn’t have been installed and have to spend another whole day cooling my heels in Victoria and pay yet another chunk of money to BC Ferries. All this could have been avoided if they had told me the tires I had so carefully stored were too old and should be scrapped, back in July

This was the complimentary service at Glenoak. We had purchased our first Explorer and first Ford vehicle ever a couple of months previously. I had asked them to assess 2 issues: hesitation on acceleration, and a very irritation sound of wind coming from the front passenger side window. When I picked up the vehicle, I was told that the Explorer was driven by one of the mechanics and there was no hesitation noted when they drove it. Looking at me like I didn't know what I was talking about. Secondly, I was told that he listened as he drove for the wind coming from the rear. First, I never said the wind sound was coming from the rear, and second, if you were driving, you would not hear the escape of air from the front passenger side window. He then corrected himself and said that the rubber surrounding the door and the window were sealed well. In fact stating that there was nothing that could be done. I can't tell you how frustrating this is as a new owner of a $66,000 vehicle to be driving and have that kind of wind noise. I don't want them to take the door apart, because that would just start a whole bunch of problems. The frustration lies in not being listened to.

I recently bought a used car from Glenoak for my son. Within a few days an engine trouble light came on. The codes indicated that the vehicle had a stretched timing chain, an expensive repair. I brought my vehicle in for a 90 day check up. I was very very upset. My vehicle had the oil change light on since I bought it so they were gonna fix that. My door rubber is riped and has been since I bought it. So I bring it in and they gave me the piece if rubber to do the door myself. They gave me a chit for the cab ONLY ONE WAY. They never changed the oil light on my car. I had to go back as soon as I noticed. They never vacuumed my car. They didn't wash the outside I GUARANTEE they never ever even looked at my car. I know they didn't. I paid 22 000. for my car from them. I would never ever recommend them to anyone and I can't wait to trade it in to another Dealer ship in a year. No I am not happy at all. My husband and I have a company truck that needed an oil change. We booked an appointment well in advance for this morning. They booked my husband in at 7:45am, which would have been perfect for his schedule as he had a client at 9:30am. Anyone who's done their own oil change will know that they take about 30 minutes MAX. After about an hour of my husband sitting there, waiting for them to finish up, he went to the desk to see what was taking so long and was informed that their mechanics don't start until 8:30am. So why book us in at 7:45am if we would just have to wait around for 45 minutes for them to even start?! He is now going to be late for his client at 9:30am. Some sort of communication would have been appreciated! Such a waste of our time. Luckily our client was understanding. We've had problems with Glenoak before, I really don't know why we keep going back. If they had just simply quoted that it would take over an hour and half we could have planned accordingly, but no communication was offered.

When I went to pick it up they told me it wasn't under warranty, they made a mistake as external hoses are not covered and they never called me or anything. In the end they present me with a bill. Yesterday Oct.9,2019 at 08:15 hrs.I arrived at Glen Oak Ford for my truck service and recall on 120v winter heating electrical system. There was no record of my appointment at the dealership and no parts for the recall although when I made the appointment I was told the reason I could not have it done right away was because of the delay in getting the parts and that is why I had waited for them until the above date and time.I live some distance from the dealership so this situation was most disruptive as it would mean a further appointment.The representative behind the counter was polite and although the situation was not his fault he indicated they would do the regular maintenance and”fit me in”. He explained they had started to put a anti carbon additive in the gasoline and an additive to the oil.After some discussion re these two additional additives I was adamant I did not want either one.When I arrived home and reviewed my bill further I was unpleasantly surprised to see the fuel treatment had been added to my bill for an additional cost of $17.00 plus. I was further disappointed to find they had found a oil leak on my oil pan.As I had already had a oil pan (warped) replaced at 4000k I was shocked to find I needed another one at 9000k.The constant inconvenience of missed appointments and billing for things not requested has not made me a champion of Ford .The need for a second oil pan in 9000k being the final straw with regard to my long term Ford loyalty. I have no annamosity with regard to the service rep although he was aware of my frustration. Now I have to be further inconvenienced waiting for parts,oil pan and block heater and the next set of appointments which hopefully will be recorded and in the system so that a record of them is there when I get to the dealership and them not telling me there is no record of same. Ps I was told when a new oil pan was installed I would not be charged for the replacing of the newly changed oil but maybe be charged for the oil filter.Wow what a way to run a business,not impressed.Good news travels fast,bad news travels faster. Had bought a newer but used Ford F150 truck from here. Our saleman was a very nice guy. But once our papers were signed and we were supposed to receive a complimentary oil change along with a follow up call regarding a couple things, we never hear back from him! It turns out he was no longer a sales associate there (he quit I believe) and my account was never followed up with and we were thrown onto another sales associate who was very rude. I ended up speaking to the manager who was not helpful and not very nice. Fake smiles but nothing promised came from it. This was 7 years ago and Ill never forget how much of a bad experience the whole dealership was. I ended up trading the truck in for a Nissan. If you can avoid this dealership, I highly recommend you do so. I have also had a friend been told they needed an oil change when it was done a week before.

I took my car into Glenoak Ford for the first time as there were recall notices to be fulfilled. I have my car serviced elsewhere as I do not have a warranty (my car was purchased elsewhere at a non Ford dealership). When I arrived with my car at 9:30 am, they told me that it would be ready around 1 pm. I explained that I would be at work and would not return until after they closed at 5:15 and to please take my keys upstairs to the sales floor for me to pick up. (The service desk said that would give them plenty of time). Upon my arrival after work to pick up my car, they could not locate my keys. They suggested that I go outside to see if the keys were in my car. We could not locate my car or keys. Apparently they do not have access from the sales floor into the service area. They said it was completely separate and alarmed for which they did not have access to it. The receptionist was excellent and was going through a series of phone numbers trying to find someone that could help and be able to access the service department . Finally after several calls to locate someone, the service manager came in from Sidney. So from the time I arrived, I was still waiting an hour later. Once the service manager arrived, we found that my car was still on the hoist! No one bothered to call to tell me that my car would not be ready. They sent me home in a cab. I was unable to run errands in the morning as I still had to take a cab to work. The service manager said that I would have my car around 11 am . He brought it to me after 1:30. They didn't bother to wash or vacuum it out. One would think under the circumstances they would have taken extra care to do that. Their protocols need to be assessed. Of course they told me that this had never happened before. Anyway, as a first time to Glenoak Ford's service department, I certainly would not endorse them.

Bought a new 2015 F150. Has transmission issue. Took it to them twice at they refused to acknowledge it. Seemed like the service guys and the mechanics had a rehearsed line when he mechanic tells them the problem and they all go "Ahhh, oh yeah.... totally normal".. Complained to ford canada and they sent me to a different dealership who has no had the truck for 4 days trying to fix the problem (that apparently didn't exist).

I called asking about a trickle charge for my Thunderbird and not only did he source the part, he got it sent to him and when I went to pick it up, he put it together for me so I could use it via the lighter plugins as oppose to the battery. I went to get a key and ended up getting an estimate for a steering wheel problem the car was moved less than 10 feet? Just had the car checked out three weeks ago and everything was fine don’t think I’ll be going back there ever again even though I bought my car there I’ve had previous bad experiences with previous problems my car and the mechanics don’t even care to hear what you have to say

Went in for recalls and multiple repairs on my 2018 f-150. - vacuum leak at brake master cylinder. During investigation it was made worse. They sent me home with it even though the master cylinder was leaking terribly and the brake pedal would push your foot up releasing brake pressure at a stop. - recall on freezing door locks. Door panels are scratched up as they were carelessly handled when removed. - block heater coolant leak. Bolts are loose and missing from block heater assembly after repair. There is a recall for this as well. Not sure if the recalled component was addressed as there was no mention of it. I just heard about it recently. - backup camera not working properly. They did an update to sync and now phone must be manually connected every time. Camera is still not working intermittently - driver seat back rest hinges broken. Replacement back rest hinges are expected to fail soon. They don’t always release and lock in unison, the mechanism will wear out again, causing the back to lock in a crooked position creating back pain. - No communication about when to expect repairs to be done. Waited over a month for the first round of repairs, not surprisingly when I called after 6 weeks or so, all parts were in and we scheduled repairs for that week. - terrible coffee in waiting room. Very sparse service reception area. Good things are: - no issues getting a loaner vehicle - staff is pleasant and helpful. - love the vehicle, shame about all the small issues.

Brought the car in at about one, expecting it to be ready by four. When I got there they hadn't even started, saying come back at five. that was not possible so I had to rebook. I feel like I wasted half a day, no explanation given. I hope this does not happen again!
