I had a great experience here whilst buying my new to me VW Golf GTI. We did our transaction through Larry Wood here at the dealership, we were treated well and with cursory throughout the entire buying process. When it came down to the act of decision on the purchase of the vehicle he was patient and the obverse to “pushy”, something that can be hard to come by in the car sales industry. I was similarly impressed with the efficiency of the entire team at Kentwood as we spent minimal time waiting on sales managers, etc. Thanks for the new car and the professionalism displayed by your staff.

I had my interest rate lowered several points which saved me a ton! Also, you can shoot some hoops, watch tv (and have control of the remote!) or play games while you're waiting...pretty awesome. Will be trading in my second vehicle next year and will be purchasing here again for sure.

So back in October we bought a truck and have unfortunately had some issues with it. It was a 2016. Got in contact with Syd. And he went above and beyond for us to get us into a newer truck. Threw in some extras as well. This place has been awesome to us...from Syd in used car sales to Yusef in finance. They treat you like family. We pick up our new to us 2020 F150 tomorrow.

Went here awhile back, got screwed around after I noticed a used truck I was very close to buying had a huge dent from the previous owner from jack knifing a 5th wheel. They told Me they’d get it repaired before I bought but when we were talking numbers again they said it’s my problem and id have to get it fixed myself. Very high pressure and terrible experience wouldn’t go back to Kentwood.
Do not use them. They do not know how to communicate with a potential buyer. They claim they are working on things but no one communicates anything with you. The worst dealership experience I’ve ever had!! Stay far away!!

I was looking for a used truck and when I talked to their sales guy Dill, he confirmed that I could put a deposit on a specific truck. But by the time I got to the dealership later that day, they sold the truck without letting me know. Then he tried to put me in a run down Dodge that was 5k more. When I told him I wasn't interested and wanted my deposit back, he said no problem. 3 days later, I called again asking where my $500 deposit was and why it hadn't been refunded yet. Dill said he would do it right away. Another 4 days later I asked him again to refund my "100% refundable deposit" and his response was... "oh ya, sorry... it's been busy" So not only did they try to bait and switch me with trucks, but once I said I wasn't interested in their more expensive model, they ignored my calls and wouldn't refund my deposit. Terrible experience. Won't be recommending them to anyone.
I had never been there before and I went in to see about an Escape I saw online but ended up trading in my Edge for a Fusion Titanium instead. My salesman Leon was a true professional and a gentleman. Took the time to listen to what I wanted, asked a few more questions for clarity and was never aggressive or pushy. I also dealt with the Business Manager Yusef who was also just as great. When I picked up my car a couple of days later, Leon took the time to go over all the features of the car so I was familiar with where everything was before I left. They have a brand new, very happy customer.
We bought our 2016 Ford flex from Kentwood Larry and Ryan were the two salesman we had the pleasure to deal with. Larry is definitely straight forward and tells it as it is, no bs. Which made a stressful vehicle hunt into a very stress free purchase. They weren't pushy in anyway. Everything was explained in great detail. Thank you we are loving the new ride.

I can't recommend this place enough, there was an error in my paperwork in favor of the dealership,. and they fixed it, without any arguing without having to call them over and over, they just took a few minutes to look it over saw the problem and agreed to fix it. Mistakes happen, its how they are dealt with that truly reflects the character of a person / business.
On Monday I booked an appointment to test drive 2 suvs for Wednesday, since I'm looking to replace my current vehicle in less 11 months from now. I didn't want to let the sales rep know that I was looking, I just wanted to get a feel from different brands before discussing numbers. On Tuesday, the Salea rep reached out to confirm the appointment for Wednesday and which vehicles that I'll be test driving. Appointment was booked, everything seemed alright; until I showed up for my appointment on Wednesday. The Sales Rep which I spoke to on Tuesday expressed his concern about test driving during covid; which was odd because that conversation never came up over the phone on Tuesday; and that he needed to confirm with his manager. He asked why I wanted to test drive? I told him that my lease on my current vehicle will be soon, so I'm looking for my next vehicle. So he went to speak with his manager. His manager came over, introduced himself and all; so I asked what's the problem? I'm only here to test drive two suvs, not here to speak numbers yet, so why am I speaking to the manager? The Manager told me that since it was raining, and one of the vehicles which I wanted to test drive was in the showroom, I couldn't test drive it unless I was in a position to buy the vehicle now before he can authorize the test. So I asked, "why didn't Chad (sales rep) bring this issue up when we spoke on the phone on Tuesday to confirm my appointment? And how was I supposed to know that the vehicle was in the showroom prior to booking the appointment? The Manager couldn't provide an answer and just said I was welcome to test drive any vehicle in the lot ????. I told both of them that I didn't book an appointment to have my time wasted to walk around their lot on the day of an appointment just to find another vehicle to test drive, and not especially in the rain. I requested for a shuttle to take me back to the service department (my current was its maintenance service), which they didn't call and I ended up calling for my ride. So I left. They will most definitely NOT be getting my business when I'm in the position to buy.

No shady tactics to try to get us to go over our budget. Shout out to Ramond for hooking us up with a great car that met all our needs, and was significantly under our budget. They were good help us get what we want
Got a used SUV last year to build my credit I was only supposed to keep it for a year so I could trade. Ok...no problem. 10 months after getting it the transmission went...they got me into a minivan saying it was safe all repairs had been done. A week after getting the van realized the brakes are shot after weeks of calling and voicemails they took it into the shop stating there was only a rock in the brakes. Left the shop it still did the same thing. I live I Grande Prairie and don't go to Edmonton often. Since then they have been ignoring my calls and voicemails refusing to replace the brakes. Very disappointed in the service here. STAY AWAY from Kentwood Ford Used Supercentre!

Larry wood is a great salesman who goes above And beyond when it comes to helping people but they need to do better inspections before selling you a vehicle. I’ve had my truck 6 months now and from the first week I’ve owned it I’ve had to get it towed at least once a month and have had over $7000 in work done to it and it’s still breaking down. Broke down again today. If you decide to buy a used vehicle I would suggest trying another dealership because these guys do not sell quality vehicles. They don’t care how it runs as long as they sell it. Shame on you Kentwood Ford

I use a proxy cell number. These guys sold that number and it's getting spam. Would never recommend any company who sells a phone number. Not to mention they didn't want to make a deal on a car (asked for 1k off of 30k), wasn't going to bring that up, but I'm happy to drop a bad review after they sold my number.

I came here this week to look at an atlas they had in their inventory. I had spoken to Chad on the weekend about what I was interested in and said I would come in on Monday to look at it. He was excellent with communication, knowledgeable and kind. When I showed up on Monday he had the vehicle ready out front, clean and ready. Super classy touch. I appreciated that. He showed me that he had looked up fuel economy stats on the vehicles I had mentioned being curious about. He was completely prepared but yet not pushy at all. His easy going nature, honesty and kindess really stood out to me. In the end we couldn't make the numbers work to secure a deal but I will hands down recommend him to anyone. You will be in great hands at Kentwood Ford- Chad is amazing.

I recently purchased a Ford Taurus from Kentwood Ford. The salesperson was far to serious and on the cold side. When I test drove the car it was filled with air fresheners. I decided to purchase the car with the condition the air fresheners were removed and the car aired out I picked up the car 4 days later the interior was litterly sticky and covered in grim and cigarette smell was overwhelming! Purchased my ‘17 F150 last month from Kentwood Used. Larry W, as well as the help from Ryan W made the decision to purchase a vehicle from there very easy. I didn’t feel pushed into anything, and they honored a negotiated price for a couple days to think over and ensure I was making the right choice. Larry was to the point, no BS, and straight-up front honest. I appreciated that, as dealing with previous dealerships in the city I had the opposite feeling walking away. In the end I am very satisfied with the customer service I had experienced. They went out of their way to put the customer first, something I feel is few and far between now a days especially when purchasing a vehicle.

Sales manager was not pleasant to deal with he was very condescending. Maybe needs to be reminded that good customer service goes a long way in ensuring repeat customers and whether customers send their friends there. They've lost our sale and we will tell others. Basically was going to rip us off on our trade in that another dealership quoted us more for and made us feel stupid even suggesting it as a trade in. It is in great shape and not very old. So we will wait for another dealership to have the right vehicle us.

Such great staff! I went to look at a specific vehicle that I saw online and didn't realize the used department was a different location. When I pulled into the dealership, the staff member directed me down the road (with full directions including which lanes to be in) to get to the used dealership. He had also told us to ask for Ryan Wood when we arrived. When we did, Ryan directed us to a wonderful sales representative, Karlo David. Karlo pulled up, cleaned, and showed us the vehicle I was interested in. While he was doing all of this, Ryan was shooting the breeze with us in the main showroom and was incredibly personable. We later found out that he was the sales manager there. Ryan did not come across as the typical sales manager (e.g. pushy, money focused, etc). When we did look at the vehicle, Karlo was incredibly honest and up-front about everything on the car. He told us right away as he was pulling up the CarFax that it had been in an accident 50,000km prior to trade-in and the break pads were fairly low, so would need to be replaced in about a year. This experience felt like a very laid-back and stress free car shopping trip. I ended up buying the vehicle I went in to look at. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

I bought my car August 15th from Tanny. At first the staff at the dealership was very nice and accommodating, it was all very exciting as I’m a student and this was my first big purchase. I could’ve bought a car privately but I don’t know a lot about cars and thought I could trust a dealership more as buying a car is a big investment. I drove down from Calgary to get this car. Before buying the car I asked several times if the car has 3M on it and there was previous damage on the car so I asked to get that fixed. They were able to fix the damage and misled me to believe that there was 3M on the hood and bumper of the car. Once I purchased the car it took over 2 weeks before I received the car and was able to drive it. It has now only been 5 months and the entire front bumper now has paint chipping off. Every time I get a car wash more paint comes off and since it’s a white car I have to get them more often than most. I’ve since found out that the entire front bumper has been repainted which the dealership neglected to tell me. This has all been extremely disappointing as I bought the car in good faith and assumed the dealership was acting in good faith as well. I know now that they were not and were just eager to say whatever they needed to say to make me purchase the car, I feel as though I’ve been cheated and taken advantage of. This was my dream car and now it just makes me sad to look at because of how much paint is chipping off the bumper. You assume when you spend so much money on something that it won’t start to deteriorate so quickly and I am now stuck dealing with the consequences.

He is 120% completely honest, I was goin to buy another truck and he told me straight forward that it needed work! Most other sale people just push the sales on you without mentioning anything. Bought my 2013 Dodge Dart back in Dec 2018 . I was told then that it was all I qualified for but if I made my payments on time for the first 6 months and built positive payment pattern that I could upgrade . Too no surprise, despite making all my payments on time I was rejected . Then anything that could go wrong did go wrong with the car . 4000.00 in repairs needed.. after only 8 months . When I brought it up to the sales guy ( Chad)his only response was " sorry your having so many problems with your Dodge Dart " Really ? Leads me to believe they knew exactly what they were selling me . Very dishonest, just taking advantage of people who are trying to build their credit and have limited options . Everything I was told was lies . They talked about Kentwoods integrity and how they take care of their customers.They don't care once your name is on the dotted line .
