I’ll never buy another Chevy ever again … firstly because your company owes me a new car to replace the lemon you sold me. 1) My car has had at least 7 recalls now … so many I’ve lost count 2) The “metal” covering of my crappy plastic door handle peeled open and cut my friend’s hand open (DEFECTIVE!!!) 3) The adaptor to play music from my phone hasn’t worked since the first day I bought it … your GM people said it was a phone compatibility issue … apparently not! I’ve upgraded my phone 4 times since then and none of them worked! (DEFECTIVE!!) 4) The fabric above my windshield and my back window is all peeling off for no reason at all (DEFECTIVE!!) 5) The car is nickel & diming me never since the warranty expired (despite the fact that I bring it in for its regular maintenance work) 6) The sunroof is leaking – the area above the driver’s side is soaked every time it rains (DEFECTIVE!!) 7) The coolant area was fixed as part of a recall (twice!) and now it is leaking again but they want me to pay for it (seriously??) 8) Multiple oil leaks from the engine ….. I could go on and on …. And every time I bring something to the attention of GM, they say, well ya that’s just regular wear and tear … WHAT?!? No, the fact is that it is a 6 year old car that was built out of little more than popsicle sticks and string. I’ve had a number of vehicles in my life … this one? Worst car ever. Like I’d get back into car payments for another lemon from your lot …. Ba ha ha ha ha ha ha joke!

I bought my car here, so I have been coming here for the last few years when my car has required fixing. Lately I've had nothing but issues. They tell me it's ready to go but it isnt. I have come to pick it up twice and it isn't actually ready for pick up. I had to bring it in twice for the same issue, brakes were squealing after getting new ones installed here. When I got them back the first time after complaining they were worse than before. Finally, after the second time it was much better. The customer service is terrible. The lady at the desk was not helpful and was quite condescending , and as I'm typing this I can hear her talking about me to a coworker. Completely unprofessional. I'm not coming back to this location. Update: they did compensate me by not charging me for a service. I didn't expect it, and I appreciated it.

I bought my Chevy here, purchase experience was very positive (thanks Sam!). I do all my service here too. My experience is that it is generally good work, but slow. Oil change and tire rotation generally takes 3-4 hours (with appointment). The free wash and vacuum is nice, but it adds about another hour to the service, and they don't seem to consider that time when calling you to tell you the vehicle is ready. They seem to know the delays are long, and often give out free coffee and muffins to compensate. Some of the service associates will tell you that a particular service is ''overdue" implying that it is necessary to maintain your warranty. They will be honest if you ask them whether the service is 'required' or 'recommended', however. I'll definitely continue to do my service here, just a few things that would be needed to get five stars.

There is coffee in the service lounge downstairs, but you have to pay to drink the capsule coffee! Don't put the capsule coffee machine at all. I bought a 2017 Buick Encore yesterday from Matt Derksen and Martina Vranjalic at the Marine location and I could not be more pleased with the service! From the business office with Bonnie who worked after hours to get all the paperwork in order, to the delivery with Martina who showed me all the amazing features in my new car, to the immaculately clean 2017 Encore I received from Matt's hard work of getting it to the dealership on time, gassed up with rubber matts included!! Dueck gives you 5 star service and really makes you feel at ease while making such a large purchase! I own a big truck and a while ago I wanted to replace an external bolt on engine part which I ordered and paid for myself. I was quoted around the $1200.00 mark originally from the representative that talks to the mechanics and foreman (this included a new battery on top of the replacement ofcourse and one or two other minor things). So i left my truck over night. Over the next two weeks other parts I wasn't from the get-go interested in orignally popped up for replacement and the bill went up to $2000.00 - I thought to myself "why not im there right, i never go anywhere else i love Dueck what could go wrong?" ... In the end the same customer service rep didn't show up the day i went in to pay. The bill ended up costing me $7500.00 instead of the top end $1200.00 I went in for. The reps explanation was "I had no choice after speaking to the foreman" ... Nevertheless same day i show up all the mechanics are laughing at me. The 2 weeks instead of 2 days my truck was there no matter how hard i tried to find out what the price was "up to now this day" i was led astray. It wasn't about the money in the end, i had it and paid - it was the effort Dueck went through to keep me out of the loop over the phone. Same day I pick it up my truck, my engine putters and almost stalls - when I start it up. I hear a massive grinding and ringing from the bottom shield plate. So I had to leave it over night again after paying $7500.00 instead of the $1200.00 range i was slowly hustled up to. In the end they didn't do a good job, the truck was leaking oil and they wanted another $7500.00 to take a look at it. I said goodbye and went to Midas to see what was wrong. Turns out they didn't replace the top two engine gaskets (one was leaking badly where it was not before the surprising "overhaul") and left the oil spilling out which Dueck blamed on my part that they replaced and bolted on. The part until this day is fine, it was an external bolt on procedure - and i'm not a mechanic - but you don't need to fully "overhaul" a truck engine for that I'm guessing. My shifter is loose once again (I've had it fixed a score number of times previously) - so after they were done with my truck I was left feeling at odds with myself.

I recently purchased a Cruze from them, and the other day it was time for the cars first oil change. When I got there, I checked my car in and they asked me if I wanted a complimentary car wash, which I was grateful for. I had an appointment for the oil change at 1:30, and I didn't have my car back until 10 after 4. When I walked out to the car, it smelled heavily of burnt clutch, so we went back in, and were obviously concerned at what we had come out to, and I had talked to the service advisor, who then went to his manager, when the service advisor had come back to us, he told us to monitor the clutch over the next couple of weeks, and get back to him if there were issues, other than that he said there was nothing he could do. He also reassured us that his co worker could drive manual, which is obviously not true. I won't be going back to this dealership for service.

I was looking for a competent dealer to service my 2014 Z/28 and I haven't owned a new GM since 2000 so I had no idea which dealer is Boss. Luckily, I found Jon Urbano and the team at Dueck on Marine. Jon is super friendly, easy to talk to, and immediately understood my care car eccentricities. Special mention to the Mechanic who went to the effort to preserve the previous windshield service sticker and put it in my owners book without me asking. Awesome service. Up one floor from service, they have a 'Chevy Cafe'. If you happen to be there, waiting on your wheels, and find yourself a bit peckish, try the Butter Chicken entree. Its 1/3 of the going restaurant price and twice as good!!

I have been quite displeased with a number of Service Consultants who left Duecks fairly recentl. One in particular, Sanjeev Chaune, I developed a great relationship with. His service was terrific. I, the client, felt I was important not just another customer. On my last visit I was fortunate enough to meet their relatively recent hire as a Dueck’s Service Consultant, Archie Archibald. I was impressed for a number of reasons. To begin Archie was attentive, a good listener which I feel is extremely important and polite. Archie kept me informed of what was happening with my SRX with respect to a timeline of when I could expect my vehicle to be ready. When I picked up the SRX Archie went over what had been completed and explained what I should do to isolate an on going noise problem which unfortunately wouldn’t cooperate for the technician. It would make no noise while in the shop. Before leaving Archie encouraged me to either contact him by email or phone for any problem I was having with the SRX or if there was anything he could do for me. In summation Archie made me feel Lake an important, valued customer. In the future I will request that I deal with Archie when dealing with Dueck’s Service Department.

I purchased a new HD Diesel pickup here in 2004. It was a great truck, but the worst vehicle purchase I've ever made. Service is sloppy and expensive. Repairs often required several trips before things were right. Three new clutches in less than 75K for a truck in light duty. I am now shopping for a new truck, and I am not considering GM. Crappy service can make any truck into a lemon. Beware!

Went in eight this am just for the mechanice Matt to meet me head on in a section that clearly had arrows going opposite direction. After reversing to let him pass he starts yelling at me to get into the garage. Afterwards he starts giving me dirty looks and shaking his head. When I approached him about it all he did was demand that I get in the garage. After asking him why he was shaking his head at me he denied that he he did. He got really mad and told me if i had a problem to go talk to the manager. After getting his name I did exactly that. The manager is very pleasant, but mostlikely hired this subpar ignorant staff. He tried to fix things, but at that point I no longer wanted to leave my $52000 brand new camaro in their care. Very inconvienienced to have to have to take my car to another city or the island. Also not the first time I had a tough time with dueck as their staff and manager called me a "drunk off the lot" when I went in to buy my car on terminal ave. Which I found very to be a very racist comment seeing how I am First Nations. Not just that the race thing, but I do not believe that anyone deserves this type of service or treatment. Regardless of background or ethnicity.

0 stars. I was upset and never wrote a review until 2day. Been there once & vow 2 never return 2 auto shop despite the fancy 2 blk dealership upstairs. Deceiving. Booked @ 3 pm & waited for 30 mins. I was confused about where 2 wait (nobody 2 greet u or 2 tell u what's going on) I was told I was "lucky" 2 get in bc they don't book 3 pm bc if computer in my car failed I may b walking home bc the shop closes @ 5? u couldn't have told me sooner?! The booking clerk (in a hurry) decided it was ok knowing the job that had 2 b done. Had 2 return 2 dealership not bc of my choice but bc of recall of wires/airbag that causes fires in Pontiac. Ultimately, I felt that they didn't respect customer’s time. I asked to speak 2 manager "Heather" who was not even there. While waiting 2 heated fights occurred in the lobby regarding service quality. I am not kidding. The courtesy phone was sticky, gross 2 touch (wanted 2 call my boyfriend bc I was disturbed by all this) & the yellow pages opened up 2 pawn shop advertising. Nice. I noticed no magazine 2 read while waiting, water, tv etc. This place was horrendous!!! Upon leaving the service manager joked with me that they took my motor out.. Hahaha!! Seriously I was so done with this place. Everybody who went there and worked there looked like a disaster. Most customers (immigrants) looked upset and in a desperate waiting state somehow. Customers just want: appointments to be honored ( I left work without pay and my time is valuable too!) greeted when you arrive, communication, no surprises, relax in a quiet lobby & maybe some water. It's simple stuff actually.Customers don't expect "freebies" as good quality service really stands for itself over the years and good auto shops don't really need to clean your car or give u free oil change. Truth is you expect good service going in once. I was disappointed, and it's hard to change anyone's first impression. I will do business elsewhere, but please make staff aware to make clients happy. Isn't that what it's about? Customer satisfaction? Happy clients equals better business, and better business equals more money. Let's face it that's what your in it for, the money. So do yourself and your customers a favour and look at how to improve. In the end everyone wins! Bigger does not better customer care and quality car services for your car. If staff are stretched 2 thin and not really available 2 even greet you than what kind of services are they giving 2 your vehicle?? And because they are not selling a 50 grand car your needs are not at all important here; therefore, .you are much better off going to your local mechanic who you have a trusted relationship with. I believe big box auto services days are numbered

From the initial phone call to the moment I received my keys, the excellent and no pressure service provided by Alex Toombs and Mike Tothi was simply the best experience I have ever had with any dealership. Nick the body shop manager is absolutely top shelf!! My 2014 Impala LTZ came back to me looking like new, literally!! Every single person from Chris Lim, to Nick , and the boys who detailed my ride including waxing it, and doing a total interior detail right down to tire dressing totally blew my mind. They even touched up some chips in my paint, FREE! Did I mention I had quarters, toonies and loonies , spare change, still in its holder, untouched. The honesty, integrity and genuine care /attention at the body shop has blown my mind. As long as Nick is there, I won't go to any other body shop for my Impala. We travelled overnight on Dec 27, 2018 from Calgary to Vancouver for a family holiday. On Dec 28 while driving down Boundary Rd in Vancouver, I felt a large pull on steering wheel to the right and immediately thought something was odd. My vehicles always are in great working condition and well maintained. Within a minute, at 60kmhr I felt a large shimmy/vibration in steering wheel. I immediately pulled over and called AMA to tow me to closest Chrysler Dealership which was Dueck Chrysler on Marine Drive. I showed Santhosh Bandari the Service Advisor a picture that I had I talen after crawling under truck , of the CV Joint where the outer boot is ripped completely open. I expected that I would get the vehicle booked into service on this Friday Dec 28 and pick it up on Monday the Dec 31st. The service department attempted to find me a rental vehicle as I had no luck at multiple rental agencies over the phone and online due to xmas season, and nothing was available that would accommodate all our luggage and ski equipment As a long shot, I then asked if it was possible if I could get my truck into a bay and have it fixed same day but knew I was likely asking a lot. Leslie Martens Senior Advisor/Sales Trainer, heard my predicament, with being on a holiday with the wife and children aged 6 and 10 and no rental cars available she said they were “ definitely going to try”. After ordering the part from Napa and discussing with Mechanic, they told me they would have it done today. It’s now 4pm, I’ve been told it will be ready just prior to 6pm today. So unless it’s something completely different than the CV Axle, I expect to be on the road today in our own vehicle. A huge thank you to Santhosh and Leslie for making my experience at Marine Dueck Chrysler very positive, they really went above and beyond for us folks from Alberta!!!

This is by far the best service I have ever had at a dealership. I was bringing in my father in laws car for what he thought was a scheduled appointment. It turned out that he did not schedule anything but had thought I was scheduling the appointment. The miscommunication was on our end and Jon Urbano at the dealer service desk was beyond accommodating! With a full service bay he was still able to fit me in. Not only did we never book an appointment but we even had the issue wrong. My father in law thought he got a message about a recall. Jon did the research on his end and found out that there was no recall on the vehicle and what was actually needed was a regular service we had turned down on our last visit due to time constraints in our schedule on that day. The original message we got was a reminder of that and not a recall. Jon was extremely polite and professional as I was there with a vehicle they were not expecting that day with an issue that I was not even able to explain clearly due to a mix up on my end. Within five minutes he figured everything out and had the vehicle set up for its service. This is what makes me put Dueck on Marine at the top of my list when it comes time to replace my own vehicle.

Since the work was going to take a while they drove me back home for free and she called me to update me with what work needed to be done. She gave me an estimate and was very willing to make it work for me financially, as I am a student. I was updated with how long the work would take and offered to be picked up and driven back to the dealership when the work was done. I was very impressed with how she handled everything and how willing they were to keep me updated and explain what was happening. We purchased a couple of vehicles from Dueck, both from Matt. Excellent service from him. I had to bring my Cadillac ATS in for service and got a loaner vehicle. When my vehicle was ready my husband picked it up and returned the loaner vehicle without refuelling it. Just a little misunderstanding, I did pay for the fuel cost, which was $20.00. I really hate to complain but, the overall treatment from one of your service associate was not very nice, notice that I saved her the embarrassment by not posting her name. This has got to be one of the largest car dealerships in the lower mainland. Their lot is immense stretching for a long SW. Marine Dr. Their show room is roomy and there are helpful sales people throughout. I bought my GMC Denali Yukon here a couple years ago and continue to get it serviced here. While the sales department was excellent and treated me very fairly, I find that ongoing service with the service consultants and technicians to be very good as well. One of the things I value the most with regards to the service appointments is there close communication with you for the girls to updates and how the process is going. It really makes planning your day that much easier. Overall an excellent location to shop for your next car or a truck, and for service of the same.

Sam is a friendly yet effective individual who helped me through the car buying process rather than typical pressure sales tactics associated with car dealerships. Would not trust Dueck with any repairs for any vehicle... Star rating pretty much sums up how I feel about Dueck after what I had found out. Went to Dueck to get the rear right wheel repaired and not long after began hearing a rotational noise whenever I applied the brakes. After going to another automotive repair shop, that one of my friends suggested, to have them diagnose the problem they found that 2 of the 5 wheel studs were completely snapped in half and the other 3 lug nuts were so stripped from over torque-ing that they were barely holding the wheel onto the car. I get that everyone makes a mistake now and then but this is extremely unprofessional and down right dangerous. If I had driven the car any longer the wheel would have slide completely off getting me into a nice little accident and bumping my insurance fees up. Needless to say, I would not go to a repair shop that isn't capable of properly executing something as simple as putting a wheel back onto a car....

Probably some of the worst customer service, they're disorganized and don't make you feel like your business is appreciated when you've spent thousands of dollars with them over years and through family. Have constantly had a problem with the servicing department. Lucky they even got one star. I rushed to my appointment for an oil change from my work in the snow with my dog and they said they couldn't offer me a ride home because of allergies and other clients when they could have just taken care of me as a paying customer and have all the equipment to clean their shuttles and help me get home when the weather is freezing cold outside and I'm left to fend a ride for myself when I'm also paying for an extended warranty. Would gladly give them a half star if I could.

If I could give a 0-star, I would. What terrible customer service from such a large dealership. My family and I came to see the Chevy Bolt last weekend. We literally walked around the WHOLE dealership. Not one person bothered to acknowledge our presence. We found a sales person, by the name of Alex; my sister asked him if they have the Chevy Bolt for viewing. He returned by asking "Who's going to buy the car?" Well that was rude. I came around and asks him the same question. "Do you have the Bolt for us to look at?" He insisted on asking "Who's going to buy the car?". We came in together to look at the Bolt.... it does not matter who is buying... And then, the message became clear. After my father said he will be the primary owner, Alex only talked directly to my father, ignoring all 6 of us, not giving ANY eye contact. Seriously? He blabbed on about how great his dealership is (keep in mind, he did not answer our question of if they had the Bolt). He did so for about 3-4 minutes, not allowing us to ask questions, nor comment. He kept asking us "Do you understand?" like we were not able to comprehend and understand English. I came from a sales background as well.... and first no no for any sales person is NOT LISTENING to your customer's needs. Second is NOT ANSWERING the inquiries directly. Third, giving customers information that they are not interested in. Alex managed to hit all those in 5 minutes. My sisters and I had to stop him from rambling on. What a waste of our time. We were shopping for an electric car and was ready to purchase but turned off by his appalling customer service. We left the dealership and would never return again even if they had the Bolt. We would not recommend the horrendous service to anyone either.

He was very easy to deal with and promised that he would have some answers for us. He spoke to all of the people involved in the sale and support of our truck. Mo dealt with us in person today. He was very forthright, honest, and listened to all of our concerns and took detailed notes. He was thoughtful and apologetic and dealt with us in a very genuine and professional manner. He took full responsibility for all of the errors below (even though many of them had nothing to do with him). We clearly outlined a plan that would cover all of the outstanding issues below. He offered us our money back or a trade for another similar vehicle. I dont even want to get started on how ridiculous this place is, bought a mazdaspeed from here and i can say that it was one the most stressfull weeks ive had. First the salesman tells us he has all the info on the car and that the saftey inspection on the car is done.... well that was the first lie, he didnt have any papers at all for the car telling me the slightest info about it (Had to wait till next day even though i called ahead letting them know i was coming in next day after work). The payment process that will ive been paying for this car they had been going behind my back and starting the saftey inspection which i was told was done. Well it never did get finished cause i found my car up on a hoist with all the wheels off no mechanics to be found. Again leaving me no car even tho i just paid... next day rolls around and i come back cars finally ready and ive been told the changed the oil... well im glad they stick oil maintainence stickers in your window cause GUESS WHAT...THEY PUT IN THE WRONG OIL NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE SAME WEIGHT I will never come here again after this honesty is the best policy why trust a place that sneaks behind your back very dissapointed. And to add to this they dont stop calling me even though i told them i dont want to be contacted after the sale

Our salesman Edgars Neilands at Duecks on Marine was the best salesman I've ever dealt with personally when it comes to buying new vehicles. I live in Port Coquitlam and drove all the way out to Vancouver to see a truck we wanted to look at and Edgars was nothing short of amazing. He answered all our questions took us step by step through everything that we felt comfortable enough buying our 2018 GMC Sierra from him. I brought my car in for an oil.change and transmission fluid flush which was done. I have a problem with being charged $ 80 for a 5 point inspection I was never told.about nor asked. While. my.car was.there to the service shop notified me that a head light was not working. I asked to people to fix it. anyways I go.to pick up my car and receive a $400 bill. On the receipt it shows that my headlight.bulb worked amd that it was a faulty contact and was charged $40 to not have it fixed. I checked myself and.it was in fact a burnt out light bulb. I feel like I was ripped off $140 for nothing. I've called.the service shop 3 time and left 3 messages only to have no call me back. I've also sent 2 emails to the GM and still no response. You guys are a joke and are there just to scam people out of more money. I'll never take my car there for anything that is not covered . This is by far the worst customer service I have experienced anywhere, and it's apparent that the service people and the GM don't care. I will never recommend any go here for work. THE WORST! I'll be contacting better business bureau within a week if I still get no reply.

An anti-customer company! I would not recommend buying or servicing a car here. Service desk makes promises cannot keep, I’ve dealt with Andrew Fidler, service manager and Chris Taylor, Director, only to realize that at all levels lying and deceiving customers is queen here. A GMC truck purchased here by my company had a transmission failure while under warranty. While it was repaired, they gave me a free replacement car - actually a rental from a dubious partner of theirs, but assured me both before and after the repairs that Dueck was going to pay for it. One year later I got my credit card charged as apparently, Dueck’s service manager, Andrew Fidler, refused to pay. The guy is too precious to find a minute to talk or respond to customers, so I sent a message through Dueck’s website (Contact Us) and Chris Taylor (Director of Fixed Operations) responded promptly with an e-mail saying he will look into it. After two more e-mails he said he will issue a refund: “I expect a cheque will be ready Wednesday for you”! There was no refund and after another promise (this time for a Friday!) he simply started ignoring my e-mails. This wasn’t the first time I’ve seen bad customer service here both to me or, while waiting for service, towards other customers, but at first you try to be fair and give them some credit. They don’t deserve it! If you need a place to buy or service a car where people don’t lie to you, or if you don’t want any unpleasant surprises, try somewhere else!

I bought a used suv 15 days back .it had problems with the batteries and starter .They replaced the batteries first then i had to return 2 days later to fix the starter. my suv was sitting in there lot for 4 days. when i went to pickup my truck it had a dent on the side. They refuse to acknowledge there mistake or fixed it. instead they told me to go through ICBC. I was so disappointed with there service. I would not recommend it this to my enemy.

The parts department is outstanding. Very dedicated to satisfaction. I needed cruise control button for my 2010 Cobalt SS. The guy at the parts desk said he didn't have it so then started checking every single gm dealership within driving distance. When that came back with nothing, he started searching lordco stores for it as they carry ac delco as well. When that came back with nothing he started searching the entire country for the part. I'm a ford guy but this level of service is amazing and shows why i was right to not just buy my cobalt ss, but shows that when i had the option to call a gm dealership, i called the right one. My father bought his impala ss from here in 2012 and also agrees that dueck on marine is amazing for keeping the customer happy.

Even if you have an appointment, they don't have time for everybody... their chef mechanic will try to get ride of you if he feels that he can do it to make room for others. Constant phone calls, messages, push you to book appointments, letters in the mail, etc. - It's like having an ex girl/boy friend stalking you! Their service manager didnt even care - Guess its their policy to harass customers! I've had nothing bad bad experiences from them. Sad, purchase a car they treat you great.... spend money they treat you great... makes you feel more like a wallet than a customer (see how they only reply to google reviews with 5-stars and not try to help those they treated otherwise???). Duecks, I have bought a car from you before and was not impressed with your service or your sales staff until now. I never thought I would do business with you guys again after the last clown I dealt with. I had a call from Virginia Marshall. She noticed I had been spending some money down in service there. She called me in and showed me how to get into a new car and why it was more cost effective. Virginia is far from what we think car sales people are. Yes she sold me a new 2014 Cruze, but I was happy I parted with the cash. Now thats impressive sales. Dueck management should pay attention to how she handles customers. If you are in the market for a car, skip the others and call Virginia. My experience was 10/10! I know Dueck reviews are bad, and I can see why from the past. But Virginia somehow has managed to put right the wrongs.

Brought my car here quite a few times, and at first was impressed by the service. However, the past two times have been horrendous. Had $2000 worth of service done (all recommended by them), and then 4 months down the road when I brought it in for a recall they're telling me there's more, and that I should've let them know any old issues beforehand. The funny thing is, I did when their service reception called 3 days after my service and asked how it was, I let them know that the service light was still on and she said it would get looked into next time and wasn't a big deal. The biggest kicker is the service rep I talked to in the garage basically said that department is useless and they don't know anything, so it's pretty clear that dueck on marine has some issues. Oh well, time to find a new shop.

Whenever I asked here for something, she rolled her eyes and shout out her lips before she answered. And I came back for car maintenance today asked her for someone and she acted in the same way. Brutal moving people through the parts line. 2nd person in line and it took over 45 minutes to get my part. Only one person working parts counter who sent me 5 feet away to service to see if they had time to program my fob, only for them to send me back to parts 30 seconds later due to no service opening (where I had to wait to in line again). I finally found the time to write my review on this dealership. I'll have to say, WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! When I bought my car from Dueck on Marine, the experience was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful on any question I had towards my car of interest ( I guess they just want your money). Sadly, the car I purchased broke down on me a few time on the first month. I called the dealership to try to talk to someone that could help me with my concerns and was transfer many many many times to different departments. NO ONE KNEW ANYONE! So called managers kept transferring over and over; managers didn't know who the owner was or who other manager were from different departments; nothing! Well at the end, I decided if the car kept broking down, I would just take legal action. Thank god everything was ok with the car after a few time in and out of the dealership. Moreover, some minor damage was done to my car when it went for repair one of the many times it went in to get fix. I consulted Archie Archibald Service Consultant regarding my issue. Archie stated, " we will have to look through the dealer's cameras to make sure the damage happened here.) Which I agreed to. After months of chat over emails, phone and me wasting my time going to the dealer, nothing was done about it. Once again, NO ONE KNEW ANYONE. The damage was very minor, so I decided to just forget about it.; not worth my time or stress due to the fact that I'm a university student. That all the stress I need lol. I guess such behaviour is Dueck on Marine tactic to deal with costumers concerns and issues. The way I see it, the only option you have with such a business is legal actions. Overall, I'm really happy with my car. But be warn people, I'm sure I'm not the first one that has experience or deal with such BS. Thanks for reading.

I broke the key to my 2012 Cruze and was quoted everywhere as needing $200+ of work done to get a new key and have it cut and programmed to work with my car. When I went in to the service department here, they sent me up to parts. The fella at parts, whose name I didn’t catch, not only told me a few options for how to fix my existing key, he also cut me a new key for the car and told me how program it myself in a matter of no time at all. He saved me $150 ish on the spot, and since the repair worked on my existing key, I could say he saved me around $350! It’s knowledge like that and actually caring about helping me out that make me look forward to dealing with Dueck on Marine in the future.

Incompetent My experiences with this dealer has been negative from the get go and still is. It started with when I needed to buy a car, I already had one in mind, I asked the salesman for a test drive. I was told I would have to wait. I waited and was told via phone that I can NOT have a test drive whatsoever. I was given the run-around about how it's a high powered car and I would expect the same happen anywhere else. I went to the Ford down the street and they literally threw the keys at me for a test drive in their Mustang. I had to go out of my way and contact Amin Ladha (Referred by a friend) who finally gave me the drive and I sealed the deal with him. He's the only redeeming quality in this review. The other joke of a salesman had nothing to say after and was dumbfounded seeing I did not go with him. When it came to service time it was even worse. Took it in for a transmission service due to a known issue. I was firstly ridiculed by the service advisor trying to convince me it's different from Canadian and American models. (News flash: The drivetrain is identical). It took them a week to figure out what to do. In this meantime they put on 100KM on the odometer for their 'testing'. The car was a mess. The fuel economy shot up like crazy meaning they were having fun with it. The papers wrongfully showed the odometer only being driven for 2km (which they tried to make me sign before seeing the car) when the reality is 50x that number. The gas began at a half tank and was less than quarter. The same advisor tried to convince me it was necessary to get three different techs to drive and figure out what was wrong. In the meantime a tech was revving the heck out of another car in the back.. The issue was very clear and the solution is well known. He then tried to convince me it's necessary despite saying himself on the phone it's apparent on all speeds. I was compensated for the gas after complaining but nothing was done to compensate the unnecessary mileage. Very dissatisfied with the service here. The icing on the cake when I got my keys back, the car was in sport mode. Clearly they were 'testing' it.

They give out quotes and don't come close to the price. had to get my front passenger light changed, when I called and asked for a price I was told $130 to $150. when all was said and done I was presented with a bill for $350. no where near what I was quoted. and because they had to take my bumper off to change the $20 bulb, 2 hours of labour later. I wasn't even advised to maybe change the other bulb while the bumper was off. In my opinion I was hustled. At least that's how how I felt after. called another garage and they would have done it for $200. would have been nice to have had the option to shop around.

I had been to the burnaby dealership in the morning and was not satisfied with the overall experience (lack of interest from the sales person...). I was about to give up on buying a Chevrolet and could not see a vehicle that would fit my needs and my budget... I am very glad I gave a phone call to Dueck Chevrolet on Marine Drive! I spoke with Alex Toombs who was really nice and invited me to stop by so we could discuss my needs. The experience I had with him at the dealership was simply exceptional. After taking the time to listen to my needs and understanding my parameters (budget, car type, ...) he identified quickly the vehicle I needed and proposed me a test drive which I took. The test was great, Alex explained me the characteristics of the car and the experience he had driving it which was great because I knew what to expect buying it! Quickly during my test i felt this was the car I wanted to have and Alex did all the paperwork very quick. The discussion with the Finance department was very nice and smooth as well as the insurance company on site (super convenient to have it inside the buildings, especially on rainy days!!) I took possession of the car the following day. Alex did help me setup the car configuration (bluetooth, ...) and explained to me what to expect in terms of service schedule... he made sure I had a call with OnStar which was great. I will definitely come back at this dealership when/if I need to buy another vehicle and will absolutely recommend it to my friends in the future.

Brought my truck in for service last week . Truck was purchased brand new 2 years ago. I’ve been having issues with my speakers in the rear staying on and I kept waking up to a dead battery. I brought the truck in when I had time to and was told that I was 100km over my warranty and they would not cover it. They want $189 for a battery $67 for install. I gave the service manager bill a call and left a message seeing if there’s anything that could be done to help my case and Never heard back from him. So I questioned tony the advisor about the speaker most likely being the problem. He told me they were going to run a paracidic draw test and it would take over night to do. Never heard back from the dealership till I called on Monday to find out that they want to charge me an hour of labour for that test aswell. at no point did he ask if I wanted to run the test he just told me they were going to check to see if anything was drawing power . I was led to believe this wasn’t going to cost me anything. I Undertand there are rules when it comes to warranty , However I’m absolutely livid about this extra charge. Not only did they fail to comunicate that the service on my truck had been completed they also failed to inform me about this costing me extra on top of the battery and install . Absolutely appalled with the service at dueck on marine and will never be bringing my vehicle back here .

Do not take your vehicle for service to Dueck on Marine. They will try to milk as much money as possible from your car. They inflate the number of hours they worked on it to get more of your hard earned money. Get a second opinion from a reputable mechanic before authorizing them to do any work. You will find out that Dueck's quotes are three times higher than other mechanics or even other GM dealers.

Bought a brand new vehicle from here in June 2017. Yeah the sales guys were great, it's their job, but it ends there. They sold me a faulty vehicle. Bluetooth is buggy. Doesn't connect right away, I have to use my phone because the controls for the phone in the vehicle don't work. Now on my display for the audio, heat, etc. Where the display for the heat controls are is just a black bar now and I can't even see what heat setting is on. The sales guys would have to be as nice and as good as they are to their customers because who wants a 50$k paper weight? Everytime I talk to service department they tell me that it's supposed to be like that. Not recommending this dealership to anyone I know.

I bought a new 2013 Chevy Cruze RS in 2013 from Dueck on Marine and I've had it serviced there regularly. I'm at 62K Kms and I've always been very satisfied with my Cruze and the Dueck Service Department. I recently needed a little body work due to an MVA, took the car in to Nick Fusco, Body Shop manager whom I know from previous work on my 99 Tahoe. As always I requested OEM parts and as always Nick obliged me and my Cruze RS looks as good as new. They were prompt and the car was ready when they told me it would be, detailed inside and out...nice !!! While there, Nick coordinated with Lisa Wilson in the service department to have the brakes done and the semi annual maintenance. Lisa was also very prompt, called with a detailed estimate including an "economy" option for the brakes. I, of course chose the premium option, they went ahead and my car was fully services right away, my bill was exactly as quoted. I highly recommend Dueck on Marine if you, like me, insist on exceptional quality service for your GM vehicles Michel

They lied to me! I brought a used Honda Civic May 2012. I'm selling it now. We take it to a shop for a vehicle inspection and we found out the cradle is bent among other problems. The salesman at Dueck gave me a history report of the car, it only showed minor damage to the car. Maybe I was stupid and naïve for trusting them, but you'd think you could trust a brand like this. Now, I am unable to sell my civic. I'm beyond disappointed and will never take my business here again.

It seems that at your office you don't really care about what "customer service" means. I brought my car into your service department because it's making a weird noise which is pretty noticeable. When I ask "Tony" if he was hearing the noise, he says with a very ironic tone "I do not hear anything"... then I asked him to get in the car and close the door ... The sound was very obvious, then he took a look in the machine, and the sound was even stronger. Then he says that sound i is normal. I know my car very well, and I have been driving chevrolet's car since 10 years ago. I know that sound it is not normal... so how does this guy can put in doubt what I am saying about my vehicle?. My car still into the warranty and this guy told me,that you can take a look in my car but I will get charge for it.... Why you will charge me when my vehicle still into warranty? His attitude makes me feel very uncomfortable. I am foreign in this Country and each time I have to deal with a dealership I am feeling scammed. I used to have a very good service from Chevrolet in another Country, I don't know if his attitude towards me was because I am a woman or because I am foreign and my english skills communications are not the best one It seems like delivery a good customer service is not your priority. I am so disappointed and feeling so frustrated about dealing with this in this Country ... I am feeling completely lost, without getting any help for any member of your staff , this is not right at all. I honestly think I should scalate this in another level.

Dan in sales sold us a great truck. Sales team was awesome. But that's as far as it goes. Service department was a joke. Had my truck in there twice for a wheel alignment and still did not get fixed properly. Instead, the second time around they fixed a "ghost flat" that I had and never phoned me to say anything about it or provide a receipt of the work on it. I checked for a patch. There was none. Bunch of baboons. Seems like they were using this false practice as leverage against me to soften the blow on not fixing my truck properly. I called and left a message for management. And emailed. No response. Shady.

Sales was pretty good, Financing was great. Their service dept seems all over the place. Didn't listen to my concerns and spent far too long chasing symptoms rather than looking at the actual problem which I brought up initially. GM Canada refused repairs under a special coverage warranty which they said was already done but had no records of it being done. The only saving grace was the new Service manager Bill, he did all he could for me after GM refused warranty. Hopefully he can clean up things a bit in the service dept and make it run more smoothly.

Bought my car here excellent service was very quick and easy however 2 years later their service department is the worst!!!!! I bout a maintenance package and yet no one ever knows what's going on EVERY single time I end up having to talk to a manager due to their incompetence. If I pay for a service in advance I expect to get it! If I hadn't purchased the maintenance package I wouldn't step foot in this place again their employees care more about what on their cell phone than customer service.... also an oil change doesn't take 2.5 hours when I made an appointment a week ago! If I could put less than 1 star I would.
