I've had 100% of my service work on my f150 done through this location over the last 7 years. They always help me out, but this week was on another level. Chelsea gets the assist while Sarah gets the goal! I didn't even have to stress about my emergency repair, they welcomed me in flustered and with short notice then delivered me, my teen boys, a newly rented baritone, and a leash-less puppy home, and then argued on my behalf for why my expensive repair should be covered by warranty... successfully! That's the difference, they treated my situation as if it was their own, dove into my service records, and assembled my case. THEN had my truck fully repaired and in perfect order an entire day EARLY. I love my truck and I love my service dept! THANK YOU,!! 10 ⭐️'s

Well I didn't get the wonderful service. Needed bearings around my spindles replaced after having them done here 20,000 Km ago. Service manager ( he would not talk to me in person, had to go through the girl on the servise desk) would not honour a warranty claim because of time, not klms, was to long between. Wanted $975 to fix and said my disks were warped to. So I got a 2nd opinion at another garage. Yes spindle bearing need replacement but if Ford had put a collar on, it stops the issue from occurring again. So Ford did not advise me the first time that a collar would of prevented future occurrences. Also disks not warped, lots of life left. Got away with a $300 bill, and a new mechanic. Westview has lost my business. When I told my guys at the pub what happened, heard other stories about other occurrences. So get a 2nd opinion on any large $ jobs.

I purchased a used 2008 Ford F250 from a different car lot about a month ago and even though it was running perfectly I was wondering if I should have a diagnostic done. I called Westview in Courtenay and spoke to Keith Davies the service manager. He said if there was no check engine light all was probably good but for my peace of mind I could bring it down to check. I went and Keith did it right away at no charge. There was no issues. I appreciated the fair and honest treatment! Thanks Keith.

Nice staff. I made an appointment for my diesel. 2 weeks I wait for parts. After 2 weeks they called and said it would be another 2 weeks. Truck went in for $2700 iin repairs for a diesel leak. A few other repairs made as well. Picked up the truck and it still leaked diesel. Anothe 8 days for an appointment. Another $300 in repair. Just not happy about the truck going in and the original problem was not fixed. And the long time frame.

About a year ago I test drove a car there and then asked the salesman to find one in the color and trim level I wanted, then call me. Never received that phone call so I bought a car elsewhere. Last week I phoned the parts department to get a price on something for my car and the parts person said he would call me back shortly with a price, and surprise, surprise, no phone call back. Ive bought many vehicle from many dealers from alberta to b.c. and to date i have never seen a dealer ship that will bend over backward and will not only go the extra mile they will go a extra 100 miles to make sure you get what you want. They dont tell you what you want, THEY GET WHAT YOU WANT!! I cannot put into word how amazing this team is and i honestly wish i could put into word how amazing these guys are, ive never written a review before but Westview Ford deserves one.

I started going here when my favourite salesman from the Ford in Campbell River left for Dodge. My gf leased a car here and they were very helpful. I go here mainly for service and parts and they have been quite good so far. Although, I do believe that with all car dealerships, the more you keep doing business with them, the more likely you will end up hating them, ie. You're always waiting for them to screw you over so you can be mad. They haven't done that yet. Side note: they quickly detail your car for free on every service. Super awesome.

I had to take our fire department F150 in because the power steering module died. When setting up the appointment I found the counter staff very pleasant and easy to deal with. The work was completed after a three business day delay due to parts availability. It's hard to blame them for that but here are a few things where they need to up their game: 1) I never received a written quote and was given a verbal estimate of about $1800. The actual bill was just shy of $2200. Apparently the verbal estimate didn't include diagnosis, tax or shop supplies. 20% is not the end of the world, but still a bit bush league. 2) The truck came back to me not washed. What auto service organization in this day and age doesn't wash customer's vehicles after doing $2200 worth of work on them? My wife took out 15 year of Toyota in to the Toyota dealer to get the windshield wipers changed and they washed and vacuumed the vehicle. This is one of those things that is so easy to do and it makes Westview stand out when they don't take that step. I'll consider returning to them for Ford specific issues, but I can't see using them for other issues. They're not a bad organization, but they do charge a premium price and I'm struggling to see the premium service.

On Fri, Sep 25 I went online to find Westview Ford, because I had an issue my local mechanic said required the proprietary attention of a Ford Dealership. I had trouble finding the phone number of the service department, and it seemed that the website would only direct me to automated features. I booked a service appointment for 9:30 am on Mon, Sep 28. I just showed up for my appointment, and the girl at the service desk said she couldn't find me in their schedule. I asked what that meant, and she told me I would have to book for another day. She said the front office didn't email the appointment to her department (throwing her colleagues under the bus). She didn't make any effort to see what they could do for me or find out what my service needs were - it may have only taken them 15-minutes to fix the situation with their diagnostic tools, as my mechanic had already identified the electrical issue. The way it was handled really turned me off - unacceptable! Oct 8, 2020 follow up: By Mon, Oct 5 I still hadn't heard back from the Service Manager at Westview Ford. I called Steve Marshall Ford in Campbell River at around 11am and by 1:30pm they had me in one of their service bays - less than an hour later I was on my way. As of today, Oct 8 I still have not heard anything back from the Service Manager at Westview Ford.

Took my 2008 ford expedition into shop there last Wed to get my brakes look at. Needed new brakes all around and couple other problems. Also asked to have a oil change done too. Took two days for parts to come. Service told me my truck would be fixed as soon as possible. Told by Fri afternoon then told sat. Called sat then was told mon by lunch, had 3 hours left on truck and asked again to make sure oil change would get done and was told yes.I understand shops are busy but when you have a costumers vechile there and then can fix because shop is to busy. The customer service there was not good. I have had my vechile there before for service. After this visit I will never take my vechile there again. It not like a had a small bill. When you spend almost 3000.00 on your vechile in a shop you would think you would get good service. Too top it off they forgot about the oil change. Never been so mad and disappointed in a shop before.... For a shop that is about costumer service, the only response I got was message for the owner on there the web site. He said someone would be in contact with me to talk about my experience with there shop. I guess they really don't want my business back or hear about it. Not one phone call from dealership.....

Without an appointment, being from out of town, he fixed our truck and did everything humanly possible to get our truck back on the road so we could continue our day. He even got us a shuttle service to a restaurant for lunch while we waited and had it come to pick us up. I think we'll be going to Courtenay to buy our next vehicle. Not a great experience. After booking the appointment four weeks earlier and providing a VIN number so that parts could be ordered to fulfill a safety recall, I arrived to be told that the parts were not available and may not be for up to a year! This was later revised to ten weeks(!)when I collected the vehicle. I was charged $160 for the privilege of having a faulty starter diagnosed - a diagnosis I struggle trust given the symptoms of the problem. No repair had been possible, largely due to the fact that a replacement part was in Edmonton, several hundred km away. To cap it all off, the car key was mislaid because someone assumed I was leaving the car overnight (this had never been suggested) and as a result the courtesy car wash did not take place. In short: a waste of gas, time and a ferry fare. I will not be using their service dept again unless there is no alternative.

Took my 2016 F-150 there for 80,000 KM Ford recommended service as part of my FMPP which I paid for when I purchased the truck in Cochrane, AB. After only about 45 minutes, I received a call saying it was ready. Pretty quick. After taking it back to my hotel, I looked over the service receipt and noticed it didn't mention anything about rotating the tires. So I went back and was told that "we only do it if we feel it's necessary". Maybe I have it wrong, but I thought rotating the tires was a preventative measure. I also had to get them to top up the tires, as it wasn't done. The next day I thought I would just decide to check the oil and didn't look like clean oil I had seen after previous oil changes. Hmmm. What really disappointed me was when I checked the air filter. It was so dirty it looked like it hadn't been changed for quite a while. Extremely dissatisfied. Not much I can really do as I live in Alberta.

Twice they've tried to upsell me on things I didnt need and didn't catch the things I did. However, the ladies at the front reception in sales and the sales staff are awesome. So yes I'd buy a vehicle from them, especially Casey he goes beyond to keep you a happy customer. But their service department needs to be more on the ball with fixing the actual problem and stop upselling the things that don't need fixing or pushing Ford parts when there are comparable, sometimes better parts out there.

I have bought a number of cars over the years but yesterday I had the best experience ever at a car lot.. A great team of men and women on staff all of who made this car purchase quick, easy and enjoyable ! Our salesman , Ron Middleton was very professional, friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we met him ! He listened to what I wanted and within minutes after I returned from test drive had a deal ready for our decision. He and Dan O’Kane (sales manager) gave me a great deal and then the rest of their team ( Marc with all the warranty info and paperwork and Pete who helped me with the bells and whistles of the car ) had me ready to drive away within an hour. They got the job done but you have to fight with them for any warranty related work. And watch out for extra charges on your invoice. The techs do seem quite experienced and knowledgeable, and I was happy with all the repairs that were done. But, after experiencing much better customer service at a competing dealer, I would hesitate to recommend this dealership.

This dealer is pretty awful for service. They misdiagnosed a suspension problem and I paid hundreds of dollars for parts that weren’t required and didn’t fix anything. When I brought it up they insisted it was my fault and the parts I installed had the same fault as the old parts I replaced. Their diagnosis defied reasonable logic and basic principles of troubleshooting. The “expert” that looked at the car while I was back there with him was confused and had no idea what was going on. I never got my money back and got the issue fixed by Andy’s shop for 50$. Parts and service are overpriced (like most dealer) and they never let me talk to anyone higher than the shift manager and blamed me for the problems. EDIT AFTER OWNER’S REPLY: I never insinuated parts or installation were provided by the dealer and I fully understand the fact that the parts I replaced myself are not the dealer’s problem. However after it didn’t fix the issue they kept my car overnight for extra diagnosis (which cost me hundreds in labour) to come up with the exact same answer even though the “faulty part” had just been replaced (by me) with a brand new one. I went for a second opinion at another shop who pin pointed the issue to a bushing. I went back to Ford with that information but they kept insisting on their initial diagnosis (which is when I went in the back and the mechanic was confused about what the problem was supposed to be). The other shop then successfully fixed the issue by replacing the bushing. I went back to Ford essentially asking to get compensated for the labour I paid for the second diagnosis but was told there was nothing that could be done. Sticking to the same erroneous answer after being proven wrong twice... I still don’t understand what they were thinking. Never went back after that.

This dealership doesn't honor their warranty. I bought a brand new Mustang from here and the engine went in it within a couple years. It was under 60,000 km and had always been taken in for tuneups and oil changes. They immediately turned me away and wouldn't replace the engine or offer me anything of any sort. The employees working at this ford dealership were civil, respectable, and kind. It is the owner of this ford dealership that was rude and just a plain jerk.

I would like to share a bad experience that I recently had at the Westview Ford dealership in Courtenay, BC. The following review is my opinion. Based on my experience, I would avoid this dealership and I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. I am not a person who frequently reviews businesses and I think this is my first ever negative review of a business, but I felt it was necessary to perhaps prevent a similar experience from happening to someone else. I feel that the dealership was difficult to work with on my issue, did not stand by their work, and did not make the situation right for the customer. We were on vacation about 25 hours from home when our truck broke down close to this dealership. The vehicle was a 2003 Ford diesel 6.0 and it showed symptoms of a leak from one or more places in the high pressure oil system. The symptoms of this issue are a weak no-start when the truck is hot (not enough oil pressure due to the leak(s) in the high pressure oil system combined with the hot oil temp), but it would start ok when cold. I spoke with the service advisor and mechanic and told them to do whatever was needed to fix the issue as we were a long way from home. I recall being told by the mechanic something along the lines that he had developed his own shortcut way of diagnosing issues in the high pressure oil system which sounded like a non standard method. He also told me during a different conversation that he had not replaced the particular part being serviced in the high pressure oil system on this particular motor version for a long time. I didn’t think much of that at the time as I just expected that whatever issues there were in the high pressure oil system would be fixed. We picked up the vehicle after a week in the shop and we were told the issue was fixed. The bill was a little bit over $3000. After picking up the truck from the dealership that day, my wife and I noticed that the truck still didn’t quite sound right while it was being started, but we were under the assumption that it was fixed. It sounded similar to how it sounded before we had it repaired. The next day the truck broke down with the exact same symptoms as before it was repaired. We were about 400 miles from the dealership and it broke down in the middle of nowhere in Washington state. It was a very bad situation to say the least. It is my understanding that sometimes these trucks shut off while driving with a high pressure oil leak, so this also could have been a safety issue for us as we were towing a 30 foot travel trailer with an anti sway system activated. We found a way to get the vehicle to another dealership and eventually found alternate transportation back to Colorado. We had to leave the truck in Washington for repairs. The Washington state dealership diagnosed it as a high pressure oil system problem and the quote was ~$2000. I expected that the Westview Ford dealership would stand by their work and cover all of the additional repair expenses, but they only offered to pay for a small percentage. Looking back on it, I strongly believe that something wasn’t right with the truck when we picked it up from Westview Ford and I don’t think they ever tried to understand that and did not attempt to make the situation right for the customer. So we were left with another expensive repair bill on the same high pressure oil system and the expense of having to get the truck shipped back to Colorado. And to make a bad situation even worse, the Westview Ford dealership was unwilling to cover all of the expenses of the additional repair and it felt like they didn’t really care about us as a customer. I understand vehicle repairs are not always perfect, but I think when a situation like this happens that as a business you are obligated to take care of the customer and make the situation right. $5000 is a lot of money for us. I felt that the customer service by Westview Ford was very disappointing and that they were only looking out for their own best interests. Sincerely, Matt Tierney

Recently brought in my 04' Escape during our cold snap as I had no heat to defrost my windshield. The service department went beyond my expectations by not only fixing the thermostat, but investigated even further as there was a blockage in my fan as well. The front end staff kept me in the loop the whole time, and my Escape came back fully vacuumed and not to mention - with heat! Not only did service take the time to address my issue, but handled the minor repair quickly, putting my mind at ease and sending a very happy customer on his way. All at no charge. I've never liked dealing with car dealerships until now. Everyone at Westview Ford was so wonderful. I was going through a very hard time with life at the time and one of the employees there went above and beyond for me and I'm so very grateful. I had my dog with me who is very sensitive to my anxiety and doesn't always like people coming near me when I'm highly stressed but he was so happy and relaxed there and just loved everyone. That is saying a LOT let me tell you! There is an atmosphere of genuine kindness throughout Westview Ford. Highly recommend them! Also, special shout out to Casey. I didn't know that a dealership could have anyone as cool and nice as he is working for them :D

I have found them to be knowledgeable and attentive to my needs, even bringing in vehicles not on site. I also appreciate that the Dealership, its Parts Dept, and Service Dept have been top notch, both in outward appearances, and in correcting the very few and minor problems, that have occurred over the years.

We will also put your summers on while your here and leave the winter tire for repair" Now that is Service !!. Sarrah ,who was looking after the Servicing was absolutely a Gem. Her cheerful attitude on the phone, at the desk and her professionalism ensuring all was taken care of. Absolutely amazing service! Graham always listens to what's going on with my F150, and Brian S. takes care of it flawlessly. I went in with a barely audible "rattle" that sounded like it was in my door; with his keen attention to detail, Brian was able to locate the source and eliminate the noise. A couple weeks later I brought our non-Ford truck in after the other dealership DIDN'T fix it, and told me there was nothing wrong (under warranty). Brian went for a drive with me, put the truck on the hoist, and not only found the problem, he fixed it! He also showed me where there were other concerns that I should have been made aware of.
