Courtney is far enough away from where we live, but I reached out to the dealership through the website and was pleasantly surprised when we received a response, but not just a simple response, a personal one via a video from Ryan Sykes. I called Ryan back and based on his presentation and personal demeanor I felt assured that a trip to the dealership would be worth our while. Telling my wife about this good guy I met, we traveled to Brian McLean the next day because Ryan had offered to come in on his day off to show us the vehicle which then turned into an agreement to purchase the vehicle. The next weekend I returned to take possession in in which I met with Jennifer Gibson who did an outstanding job at getting me through the maze of warranty options. This review is long overdue. My partner and I jokingly went on an electric car test drive date, we had no intention of buying a new car and in fact our Jetta had just gotten repaired. After test driving a couple of different electric vehicles we actually ended up purchasing one. It was a totally spontaneous decision and there was absolutely no pressure to buy. Ryan Sykes was the salesman who helped us along - he was very easy going and accommodating, and it really felt like a family friendly dealership. We had literally a day for all the paperwork to go through, because of the various deadlines - work as well as government grant and token applications, and Ryan and Nicky made it happen smoothly and efficiently. We sat witness to the numerous phone conversations made on our part, and we were thoroughly impressed at the speed and efficiency at which it all came together. There was no sales pitch - just straight up readiness to help. Thank you very much for making this a good experience and being good people - I definitely recommend.

I had questionable rear shocks on my '15 Colorado, Kim took my word for it and order me some new ones under warranty just on my word. They came in within a week, they replaced them and sure enough one of the shocks was toast. Our experience of purchasing a new truck was enhanced by the staff of Brian McLean GM, most notably Kim Cook. Kim picked us up at the Comox airport in the new vehicle and after a quick review of the vehicle operation, we test drove the truck back to the dealership. Kim was very personable and professional. The process of purchasing the vehicle was painless with Jennifer explaining the warranties, financing etc. and the mobile insurance agent in the next office. Once the purchase was complete, Kim walked us through the On-Star process and tracked all the usernames/passwords and expiry dates. I decided that my husband deserved a bigger truck so the search was on. Our first stop was at Brian McLean, where Ryan greeted us with a big smile. He asked us what we had in mind and told him what our needs were. We owned a little Ford Ranger 4X4, however it was limited as to what we could ever tow. Ryan was very knowledgeable with each truck that we looked at and then we came upon the 2015 'Silverado True North' and it was love at first site. As much as people berate dealers you should know Brian McLean is the best dealer I've dealt with period. Their Parts dept is seriously knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Their Service dept is also fantastic. I've referred quite a few customers there for things like programming and used them myself directly. Quotes are always accurate, service is timely, and more than once they've even washed filthy vehicles probably not worth the soap! Highly recommended.
