I’ve serviced my Volvo for the first time this week and have had a great experience altogether: - booking the appointment with a service manager was very easy and the system-generated email summary was helpful to plan the time in my calendar - the service manager was very courteous and thorough at the drop-off and pick-up, taking all the time needed to answer additional questions I had about the car (unrelated to the service) - the waiting area is confortable and well equipped (see photos). - the sales rep came to greet me and inquired at length about my experience with the XC90 moreover as I was new to the brand - I also had not felt ANY pressure during the sales process, and the rep had been very attentive to my needs. - the service was done on-time, on-spec, and on-budget. Altogether my experience has been nothing but excellent - kudos to everyone involved in the process!

I wish I could rate this lower than a one star. I bought a 2017 XC60 and took over a lease on an X60 within a couple weeks of each other. I live in Ontario and the work I had to go through to get my cars plated was unacceptable. I was not given the proper paperwork to get the lease in my name, the navigation was not setup and they said opps sorry you will have to bring it to Montreal or go to a dealership in your city. I had no brackets to put plates in the front of the vehicle. I paid the lease transfer fees and was told that the dealership would compensate me for the troubles I went though once the transaction was completed. This process took a few weeks and hours of my time. Once it was completed Ralph the finance manager said that he spoke to the manager and they didn't feel that I should get any compensation. I asked to speak to the manager, I left him a message and he never called me back. I contacted Volvo Canada and they said that this is an issue with the individual dealer and that they would not get involved. They did try to call him and tell him to contact me but he still has not called me back. I bought my cars in October 2017. I could go on with other issues I have had but honestly don't want to waist another minute. However, I feel that everyone should know that they should be very careful when dealing with this dealership.

This is just a review of the telephone experience, which was great! Pleasant receptionist, who sent me directly to the person, who could help me. The guy in the service department noted all the information he needed quickly and efficiently, was polite and found a time for me to come in on the same day, which was awesome since I had the day off. If the experience in the shop is anywhere as good as on the phone, this is promising????

really bad experience, the service depends on the color of your skin, other volvo dealers were really good but on this one if you are not blond or tall better no to buy a car with this people.
Be careful when dealing with their finance team, especially Ralph. He tried to scam me by marking up financing interest rates on their CPO cars. I know that because I checked with Volvo Canada and rates are negotiated by Volvo Canada. Dealers can set their own rates but they are usually higher. Ralph offered me a higher interest rate and when I said I would shop around, he came back and said he had negotiated a lower rate with the banks for me! They lost my business because new rate still included a markup. Can't comment on their markup practices on new cars, but always do your homework and shop around. They might offer a lower price, but will get you by marking up financing rates. Don't get conned, be smart and shop around at other Mtl dealers or even in Ottawa till you find an honest one.
I never could have imagined what a headache it would be to lease a brand new Volvo. Disappointed in our experience. They are very disorganized. We finally got our new car. Let's hope our Volvo driving experience is better than the sales process!

I'm really not sure why it is so difficult to book an appointment with this dealership. I called, asked to book an appointment to put my winter tires on, and it seems like its the first time they heard this request. Fumbling around, disconnect me, attempt to transfer me to service, disconnect again. I called 4 times and still wasn't able to book an appointment. Online reservations isn't functioning on their website. I feel like I need to beg them just to speak to someone to get an appointment. No thank you. I wen to John Scotti Volvo website, booked my appointment online, all within 3-4 minutes. I guess I won't be getting my service at Uptown Volvo Decarie anymore, John Scotti just got a new customer. This is not the first time either, this happened last time for the tire change and regular maintenance. Any time I call to speak to service, I never get through. Ever.
Volvo is a great company just don’t deal with Uptown Volvo dealer at any cost. Went in to order a 2nd car from them in June only to find out in November the car i ordered came in but can’t give it to me because it’s more expensive from what the sales Rep promised and what we signed together. Sales reps say anything to get a sale but can’t stand behind their word and worst of all the management does nothing to make it right. They treat clients like our business is worth nothing to them but eventually they will notice the difference as people to go another Volvo dealer like myself. This dealer will learn how one very unhappy client can make a difference in the long run. Sad day for Volvo Uptown as I take my business elsewhere.

I was shopping for a new car after having a few funny experiences, Marek was at Albi Volvo and had provided me guidance in the channel of what I had been looking for. We were looking at something to replace my Mercedes. By then he had joined Gravel Cadillac and we were on the right path for what I was looking for. Great service, easy communication and absolutely no pressure whatsoever with custom tailored attention to my needs. He had messaged me when he got back to Volvo Mont Royal but unfortunately/fortunately Tesla got the better part of both our ends. We are looking forward for Volvo to roll out their line of electric vehicle and most importantly doing business with Marek. We also wanted to congratulate the new ownership under Mr Christian. We highly recommend this point of business and facility with Marek.

Not a quick service. 2,5 hour wait to change tires! Impossible to schedule appointments online, unlike other luxury cat dealerships. The calendar isn't functioning, always have to call in, often service department is not able to take call, they will call back. Meanwhile, inquired about a used car on the lot, was given a price 1 k higher than what's announced on the web. Of course, after doing " let me go see the manager" trick it came down to what's advertised. Would you trust a salesman after this?

Retracting original review of 5 stars as this is no longer the case with new Service Manager. Unfortunately, he favours the attitude that your business is at their discretion and his customer service skills need to be sent back in the mechanics bay and not up front.
Courteous, clean and respectful. I find the atmosphere much more relaxed and civilized than some of the other luxury car dealers in Montreal. Access is right off of Decarie, so it's easy to get into. The coffee service is not self serve, and sometimes you have to find you someone to make you a coffee or tea. The food is a small variety of fruit, and not much else.
Our first purchase with Uptown Volvo in Montreal since we are from Ontario but was skeptical with the sale process!! Louis in sales and Ralph in finance assured us the process will go through smoothly and it did including registering and delivery to our home. Thank you both for all your help.

This dealership' service department used to be really good, but from my last visit I learned my lesson to never go there again, they charged me $500 for maintenance service (did not even reset the maintenance light on the car's computer, don't know even if they actually did maintenance on my car) and tire change. However 2 out of 4 tires wasn't changed properly and started leaking air heavily the next day. So I called them and explained that the air was getting out from the rim and I saw the air coming out on a rainy day (I even had to explain how you can see air coming out of the tire because of water, sorry for thinking this should be common knowledge). They came back with an explanation that I probably drove over some nails into the tires and this had nothing to do with them for not being able to properly change tires and I should be paying if I want to get that fixed, I still cannot comprehend how air coming out from the rim can be caused by me driving over a nail. What a horrible customer experience, you do a poor job for you long time customer and blames it on them. Got the problem fixed and they did not find any nails. Do yourself a flavor and never do service at this dealership, such a waste of time and money.

So unprofesional. I was there to buy a used car. After testing the car, he gave me his price that was so high. He asked my offer that was lower than him about 3k. Shockingly he asked ne to leave their place. "You are not serious, come back when you are serious!". ???????????? My first time in my life to hear such a thing. I got another car in the same day from another dealer, 1k more expensive than his original price, but was a car that worth it. For sure do not recommend it to anyone.

Bought a XC90 off Michael. Spoke to him for the first time on Thursday. After a bit of discussion he gave me a smoking deal and had it ready for me to pick up the next day so I would have it on the weekend. A+
More difficult to book a test drive than with other dealers - slow response time. We booked an appointment and showed up five minutes early, but were kept waiting for 15 minutes before even speaking to our sales representative. We asked how long a test drive would take and were told 30 minutes, so we allocated 45 minutes in our schedule and were still not able to make our next appointment because of the delay. If Volvo wants to re-brand as luxury vehicles and charge luxury prices they will have to respect the time of their clients the way their competitors do.

Upon reviewing my elderly mother's regular service invoice, I noticed that Uptown Volvo has been charging her $20 to fill up her windshield wiper fluid every time they serviced her car. As I personally fill her wiper fluid (and I don't charge her $20 because I am not a horrible person) I know it is always at least 90% full. What kind of sick policy is it to rip off old ladies in such a way. I can only imagine the other ways that the Uptown Volvo management instructs their service department to rip off their clients. It wouldn't surprise me if they haven't paid federal income tax in 19 years.

Terrible experience for service. I love the Volvo cars. I am a good client with 2 C70 (convertibles) over the past 20 years. Service has gradually deteriorated at Uptown Volvo now at Décarie and is at its lowest ever. I had a deafening alarm (related to the convertible roof) every time the car moves. They could not fix the problem the same day, so I asked service to remove the alarm fuse so that I can book an appointment and use the car meanwhile. No way. My Volvo was left for 2 days in the parking lot, with nobody even looking at the problem, let alone fix it. Phone calls to know what was happening were unanswered (they are too busy) or the answers by 3 different people at service department were misleading. After 2 days I was not happy, I picked my car and my son found the responsible fuse and removed it. My next car (soon, in 2021) will be not be a Volvo and certainly not at Uptown.
