I have a problem with my 2012 Ford F150 concerning the brake vacuum pump. Millar Hughes Ford service dept has been very accommodating in diagnosing the issue, however the replacement part has been on back order for a substantial time period. This can lead to potential dangerous situations if the pump completely fails and could result in law suits against Ford Canada. Ford Canada must expedite the delivery of these required components to ensure the safety of the motoring public.

I went back to Miller Hughes because of a sensor problem, which is under warranty. I gave them my cell number, no loaner car was offered even though I live an hour away. They offered to drop me somewhere but that wasn't useful, so I waited around for an hour. After 45 minutes I checked to see how the repair was going. They had my keys waiting (even rhoygh tgey didnt call me my car had been ready for 1/2 hour ) and said they had to order the part. I drove an hour home and found out there's a dealership much closer to me. I asked them to phone Miller Hughes to get the info as driving 15 minutes is much better than an hour. Miller wouldn't give them any information. So I had to call. They were really reluctant and said "well I'm gonna have this part sitting on my shelf" to which I replied "I'm sure someone else's sensor is going to go, or ship it up to Hawkesbury. That will solve the issue". When I asked which side the sensor was needed he said he couldn't tell me as it wasn't written down. This is the second bad experience I've had with this service department. I will not go back. You'd think after buying a 50,000 $ car they'd be a little better at customer service.

Pleasant place. Did my oil change and a small repair very efficiently and reasonably. Don't know too many dealers where an oil change costs about the same or cheaper than many of the other oil change shops around town. Very gently tried to encourage me to do "extra" work on my car - preventive maintenance stuff. I don’t blame them for trying. They weren't pushy about it at all - just made some recpmmendations. Their customer lounge is fantastic with wifi, newspapers and an assortment of drinks and granola bars. Staff is very pleasant.

I found both the Service and Parts departments knowledgeable and helpful. The one thing I would like to see is a truck on display inside the showroom. I realize that they take up more room, but if I am waiting for service, I would appreciate looking at a truck without having to go outside in the rain or across the street, and not being accompanied by a sales person. At the end of the day, those of us who prefer trucks always feel like lower class minions because not being able to look at a truck inside is comparable to having to enter a mansion through the servants entrance out back, out of sight, even though on average, trucks are now more expensive than the cars.

On our way to pick up a few groceries we stopped at Miller Hughes and bought a truck. Matt was our sales rep and along with Molly made the whole “buying a new vehicle” experience actually enjoyable. I never felt pressured and and any questions were answered promptly. If Matt was not sure he found out right away.we bought the vehicle on a Saturday and picked it up on a Thursday. I was in touch with Molly practically every day and she was so helpful steering us through all the paperwork. When we picked the truck up we were introduced to the service dept. people so we would know who we are dealing with in the future. Matt then proceeded to explain all the details of how our new Ford works and ensured us that if we ran into any issues he was a phone call away. I hope the rest of the Miller Hughes experience (service and support) are like their sales.

My Monday morning didn’t start off so great having vehicle issues. The service I received from all of the Miller Hughes staff, specifically the service manager Gary Rose was beyond stellar! He ensured that roadside assistance was provided and took my vehicle in the shop as soon as it arrived. This isn’t always the typical service you receive from dealerships. I purchased a new vehicle at a different local dealer a few years before buying from Miller Hughes. The honeymoon phase ended after my vehicle was purchased. I took m 2011 F-250 in to get the signal light switch fixed, they informed me it would be 10 days to get one of the parts, and that they could not fix the problem temporarily. This was very unsatisfactory to me as my truck is used for my business, and I was in the middle of a large contract. On top of that it took me 10 minutes to fix the problem in the parking lot of the dealership my self, after getting one part they had in stock and borrowing two screwdrivers from on of their technicians. I had an appointment to get the winter tires removed and stored free of charge with the special that was offered. I also asked the clerk to get the oil changed and he said there wasn't enough kilometres for it even though I mentioned that the warning light in dash board indicated that there was only 8 % left. Now I have to go elsewhere to get the oil changed.

I was hesitant bringing my Navigator in initially because I have had issues with other locations in town in the past but I was in need, in short order for a repair. Both ladies I spoke to on the phone initially were great to deal with. However, let me tell you that Spencer in service was outstanding! When speaking with him he was confident and assuring allowing me to feel a little more at ease. As I also had an aftermarket warranty company to be dealt with I still had some reservations about the outcome. Again, Spencer was able to deal with them and navigate their procedures to get a very favorable outcome for the repair of my vehicle within the time frame I required to have my truck back. As a final little touch, a personal letter left in my truck by Spencer thanking me for my business sealed it. Spencer has earned my repeat business for sure.

Buyers Beware - This dealership uses hidden costs. Upon noticing an ad for a used vehicle of interest, and consulting their website, the cost of the vehicle was marketed as the listed price "+ licensing and applicable taxes". After asking for a final quote to move forward, an additional cost of $798 was added to the tally and identified as a "security transfer fee". When prompted on what this was, the salesman said it was for "tire road hazard warranty, nitrogen in all tires, and etching on the vehicle". This is obviously not a licensing fee, nor applicable taxes. You will want to review your transaction carefully before agreeing/signing to anything.

The people are great but $28 for 6 missing screws that were only handed by dealer is ridiculous. The bill does not show the charges if the person was not paying attention they would not know that they were charged because the bill state included. Very tricky way to do business.
