The service department isn't very good..... I felt like I was treated very poorly and they did not do my car properly.... they had snapped my abs sensor on my car while putting my wheel bearing in... I had to call for them to fix it and they said they would and would give me a call when the part was in....but they never called.... i had tried calling and getting the lady to call me back several times and she never did.... my significant other even called and still they did not get back to us, so about 2 weeks later, I had to call the manager in order to get my part in and to remind them that, hello.... I'm still here, you guys broke my car.... don't forget you gotta fix your mistake. Other then that, the manager was helpful with everything. So, if you are having troubles... talk to Darren. He will help you the best he can.

All I can say is Justin's patience and ability to answer every question or concern my mom threw at him with absolute confidence ended up winning her over and instead of buying a car, she walked out with a brand new CRV. TL;DR: Your warranty may not cover everything you thought it would. I took my car in because shifting wasn't smooth anymore. They took the car, gave me a ride home, and later in the day gave me a call. The technician who diagnosed the car recommended replacing the shifting bushings and shifting housing unit. Anyways, they were not sure if the powerline warranty on the car would cover the fix. The people who would know the answers were not around. I heard the next day that it was not. Reason was that those parts are not "part of the actual transmission" which is covered. I don't get how the shifter (gear stick) bushings and housing is not part of the transmission, as obviously it connects to the transmission (and therefore is part of it?). To be perfectly honest, I don't see the point of keeping the validity of the warranty (following maintenance requirements & using Honda genuine parts etc.) because it seems whatever you might have thought to be covered isn't. I found out when picking the car back up, that the cost of the diagnosis was $160. I was not informed it would be costing me anything before then. I was under the impression that the entire thing would be covered by the warranty (see as it is transmission related) but apparently nothing is. Why is there even a star on this review you might ask? Because the staff were friendly, and because I got a free car wash (oh wait, I guess it was a $160 car wash) *Not impressed*.

We have a Honda Pilot and Honda Civic's and have never had a problem with any of them. PROFESSIONAL, TRUSTWORTHY AND TRUTHFUL are just 3 of the top 3 words I would use to describe my experience with Murray Honda. I contacted Jay and told him exactly what I was looking for and what I could afford and the next day I was driving away in my brand new car. Picking up my new vehicle was a super positive experience as everything was ready and prepared. The car was spotless and ready to go. The business end was handled by Raj and was made as painless and fast as possible. Then Jonathan took the time to go over all the main features of the car and instantly marry my new car with my phone. They are very happy together :) I really felt like everyone was working as a team to try and create the most positive experience possible. Not to mention that they sell one of the top most reliable and well equipped automobile brands on the market with extremely competitive prices. Next time I or any of my friends and family are looking for the next car, I know exactly where to go. By the way, I've purchased over 30 vehicles in my life and it is the first time the gas tank was actually FULL when I went to pick it up. Extended warranty work on my vehicle. I received outstanding treatment by Kim in the service department. My vehicle was ready before the promised time which I was grateful. The mechanics are very respectful using disposable mats etc in the car. Overall, everyone at Murray are wonderful. The car wash could be a little better, Missed a lot of spots. Overall great experience. I have to admit though the service prices are a little pricey but because of my extended warranty, I am nervous about taking my Honda elsewhere. Overall I great experience

I was looking into buying a new vehicle, my first new vehicle ever, and the Honda Fit was very much what I was seeking. I was treated well during the test driving and provided with good information about the vehicle during the test drive. Once the test drive stopped is where my experience turned negative. I was immediately pressured for a sale asked “what’s stopping you from buying this car today?” to which I honestly responded “it’s a bit too pricey for what I’m looking for.” I had done some research on the vehicle online through the Honda site but the dealership had a few more fees. I was then basically bamboozled with “monthly installments” instead of the total cost like I would have preferred to discuss (then going into financing if we could agree upon a price for the vehicle). I asked to take the cost the dealership was offering me home to look over and see if it would work with my finances because the cost was higher than what I had budgeted for (this would need to be done before I’d purchase a vehicle at a higher cost than what I planned). I was told that I couldn’t take this home because they “didn’t want to play games” and have me shop the cost around. Fair enough I guess but not only was that not my intention but they never budged on the cost at all so it’s not like I could shop around “this dealership is literally giving me no deal at all.” I’ll admit because it was a first car purchase I was new to the experience so maybe I should’ve pushed back more but regardless it wasn’t enjoyable and I ended up going to a different dealer. Honestly I'd still go back in a number of years if I'm on the lookout for a new car but when I do I’ll be a lot more assertive because I definitely felt pressured by the sales staff.

We went to Murray Honda in Chilliwack one afternoon after test driving two other competitors. I was down to one of the competitors, but I wanted to test drive the 2020 Honda CR-V ”Black Edition”. Soon after parking and walking towards the new CR-Vs on the lot, when Dani came out to greet us. Dani was very professional in her greeting and introduction. She asked what we were looking for in a vehicle and whether new or old. I told Dani that I was looking for a new 2030 Honda CR-V ”Black Edition” or the Touring trim model. We went inside to her desk and we went over all the options we were looking for in the car. Once the initial profile was set up Dani got the car moved out for us and then showed us many of the features of the “Black Edition”. Then we went for a lengthy test drive. We chose a route that our daughter took up Chilliwack Mountain. It was a road with substantial hill climbing, rough and windy roads. The car did well Dani mentioned that she owns a CR-V and has owned it for a year. She loves the SUV. I asked a bunch of questions about features and how things work and she was able to answer my questions I did have a couple of questions that she did not have an answer for, but when we got back to the dealership she was able to find out the answers. We asked Dani about financing or leasing and she spent some time with us to show us the differences. After a lot of questions answered we decided to finance the CR-V. After the sale we were introduced to the finance department and that process went well also. Once everything was signed, we went back the following afternoon with our down payment. The car was all detailed and ready for us to take possession of the new CR-V. We were really excited. Our entire time at Murray Honda was very positive, but I think a it really helped that Dani was our sales representative for our purchase. Thank you all for the great time buying our new wheels.

Let me just say that the employee culture at this Dealership is is one to be envious about. Everyone I encountered there sales, finance, parts and service all clearly loved being a part of the team. I bought a 2018 civic SI in black that had some "lot damage" that could not be repaired without bodywork and paint. After several attempts from two different bodyshops, I was not able to be content with the repair. The owner Darren and I spoke on several occasions finally coming to a conclusion, wherein I received a brand new car free from any damage. I am very happy with the result and would highly recommend Murray Honda to anyone and everyone who was in the market for a new or used car, truck SUV, or minivan. Everyone from the sales department, service staff and business office, to the owner himself, took the time to listen and understand the issues I had and were quick to deal with any concerns and resolve all problems during my new car purchase. Justin Mallard with out a doubt is the best salesperson I have ever dealt with when purchasing a car . He is not your typical pushy car salesman. Where to start... I have wanted a Civic Touring for a couple years, there is something so classy about that model. My Journey (Which I love) is getting tired from all of my driving. My wife and I stopped in to brouse and check it out. (again she would say...lol) Nav approached us and asked us our interests. He had a bit of new guy written all over him but he knows his cars very well. He is one of the few sales people that actaully step back so you I could talk with my wife without asking. Very nice!! We weren't quite ready and returned in a couple weeks and Nav was there. He remember our names, which is 2 points for Nav. We did the numbers thing and made a commitment. Here is something you don't see often.. His business manager Jay came and sat with to discuss the numbers. Impressed!! Normally the BM is hiding in a glass cage and sales staff run in and out like minions. Jay was very proffesional and grateful start to end. The bussiness manager gives you all the time you need to understand and your not signing until you do. If you are looking for no pressure, professional and the over all feeling that you are looked after this team is it. Sorry for the long review I am still in aww.

Edit: Like I said in my original review the people here are helpful and friendly. After a bit of constructive discussion between Raylene and myself we came to an agreement and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. Professional and prompt on the follow up. Second car I have purchased from here in ten years that has had clear coat peeling within two years of purchasing. I called them and they basically offered no solution to me. I’d have to take time off work to talk to someone who can actually make a call on what to do, according to the man in service I spoke to on the phone no one who can make the call works there on weekends and I work in Langley, live in chilliwack. Gone before they open and home after they close. Nice people here but I am frustrated that this has happened AGAIN. My 1992 Mazda b2200 had better original paint than this.

Excellent customer service. I was not able to purchase a car from Murray Honda but that did not have anything to do with the dealership. I communicated with them over email and they shared all the information from financial, car condition and warranty with me. They did not pressure me into making any decision I was not happy with and the Jay and Jonathan were excellent. Many dealerships hide the real financial numbers and refuse to share warranty information and cost until you have already committed to the purchase. Terrible experience with this dealership. I bought my wife a BMW For her birthday and in the 3.5 months she has had it, its had 3 repairs needed. Ive paid for 2 but now it needs a new $2800 heater core and they refuse to offer any assistance other than taking it back minus the taxes which in a 20,000 dollar car is more than the repair.. Not my idea of a reliable dealership! My recommendation is to steer clear. There are a lot of other reputable dealers around.

My car has not run the same after Murray Honda did some cheap parking lot paint job with the car running. There were bugs in the paint and runs in it. and the car sucked in overspray. Had a Ridgeline pre-ordered back in the summer with a $2000 deposit. Truck shows up and we are notified by Susan. The standard upsell over the phone ensues for extended warranties etc. I ask for an emailed invoice prior to arranging pick up. Email comes through with a written outstanding balance without any breakdown requesting a bank draft and setting up a time for pick up. Email back requesting a breakdown of the price, as it seemed higher than previously discussed. Susan finally sends over a breakdown that has multiple additions that were not ordered. Not only that, the $2000 deposit was not applied. No apology. Paul covered Susan indicating Susan was sharp and didn't make mistakes like this. New invoice shows up with the deposit applied but still bogus extras. $300 surcharge for premium paint which we were told was on the website and could not be waved. I had to cut and paste the website showing that the black edition came with premium paint included. They then did me a favor and waved the $300 premium paint charge. No apology, again. Murray Honda obviously doesnt value our business and reaffirms the term "stealership". I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. I asked to hold the vehicle for another day while I did a comparison at another dealership. They just refunded the $2000 deposit without notification or a phone call. Unfortunately vehicle supply is at an all time low and so they just don't care.

This dealership has excellent and honest customer service and it is obvious that they truly care about their customers. I actually live in Abbotsford but had a bad experience with the honda dealership in Abbotsford. I needed a replacement car battery and it was still covered under warranty so I called the Abbotsford dealership, they told me that I would need to book an appointment and that it would take 2.5 hours for them to test my battery and that the test would cost between $70 and $140 and they were quite rude. The price they quoted did not seem right to me and the fact that they were rude made me decide that I didnt want to give them my business so I called Murray Honda and they said stop in anytime, no appointment neccessary because it wouldn't take long. So I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. They tested and replaced my battery in one hour and they didn't charge me anything for it! I am beyond happy with the experience I had with Murray Honda and would definitely recommend anyone to go there! They are clearly not out to rip people off and are just trying to provide good and honest service. Good job Murray Honda!

As we are from out of town, we asked if they could provide us an incentive to come check out the car. Paul did not even blink -- he offered us a gas card as well as taking care of one of the fees. When we arrived, Paul was there to greet us even though he was late for another appointment, and Dustin then took care of us. We felt quite respected and were treated well. There was no pressure, and when we noticed the car had snow tires instead of regular tires, Dustin offered to replace them at no cost and let us keep the snow tires. It has been two months since our purchase, and we are still happy with our car. It was the best used car experience we have ever had! We would highly recommend checking out Murray Honda. Needing auto repairs to get us on our way after having broken down on the highway, we contacted several shops and none would agree to look at our vehicle right away EXCEPT Murray Honda! Call taker Hannah agreed to take our "tow-in" and look at the problem as soon as possible when they learned we were just travelling through westbound. Service advisor Wayne carefully listened to the story of our engine difficulty and within 2 hours he had us on our way home. I brought my vehicle in for a simple alignment and airbag recall. Service was great,staff were helpful. Overall customer service was great. However, I am very particular about washing my car due to a recent paint job (black car) so I stressed many times that my car not be washed by them. They assured me it would be left alone. Apon picking the car up,it looked as if someone had started to wash it then just left it alone. It was dark so I didnt think much of it at the time. Got home and took a closer look at my beautiful paint job,only to find the hood and fenders riddled with small scratches and swirl Marks. I'm looking forward to my detailing/polish in the spring, and will be thinking of murray honda while doing it! In short: if you are particular about the paint job on your vehicle, I highly suggest you dont let their amateur detailers touch it.

Had lunch at Cultus Lake- golf course during the extreme cold spell and when I came out and tried to start my car it would not start. Got a jump start from owner of the golf course and drove directly to Murray Honda. So many customers had had dead batteries that they had run out and had to get one for me from their supplier. Nice place to sit and wait with current magazines to read, coffee, etc. Very friendly staff - one of the female employees photocopied a recipe I wanted that was in a magazine. Selling department is very helpful and I give them 4 stars The repair department is a waste of time, had an appointment for 9:30 am and they said the electrical repairs should not take no more than 20 minutes. I come back at 11:00 am and they never even started with the repairs, unsatisfactory service and customer satisfaction; why have appointment times when they can not keep there timings. We have appointments and activities also and that is why we made an early appointment. It is know 2:11pm on the same day and they are still not done; LMAO what a joke for a repair shop.

Called and agreed to buy a 2017 Ridgeline at list price plus a free accessory. They added in a $400 "Documentation Fee" and forgot to mention it. Make sure to look at the total price and line items since they will only emphasize your payments. The positive is that they sell Hondas and the sales person knew the product. Just sick of the classic dealership experience I had with them. Would order my next Honda off Amazon if I could. Will be contacting Honda about all this and ask them about these infernal fees. The Sales manager called me twice and wanted to make sure I understand that not looking at the paperwork carefully enough was my fault. Having three seperate staff members not pointing it out was unfortunate. They were not following policy. He successfully added insult to injury. ????

We had saved up for many years to make this huge purchase and first got in touch with Murray Honda one evening after a horrible experience at a car dealership in Langley. We called to casually inquire as to whether or not they still had a truck in stock which we had seen online. The gentleman on the phone, who was very friendly, told us that they would be closing soon but that they would stay open for us to come take a look. When we arrived at the dealership we were greeted by the manager who put us in contact with one of their salesman Dustin Scott. It turned out that they let my wife and I take the pickup truck home for the evening to give us the opportunity to take it for a drive and get a feel for the vehicle! This was absolutely fantastic! It gave us the opportunity to really process and evaluate the product as a couple. The next day we returned to the dealership to drop off the truck and let them know that this was not quite the right truck for us. Dustin respected where we were coming from and took 10 minutes to just ask about what we were looking for, refine our needs / wants, and what our budget looked like. He said that he would be happy to keep an eye out for us and that he would be in touch if something came through the dealership or if he found something to bring in. After only 1 week, we got a call from Dustin asking us if we would be willing to pop by to take a look at a vehicle they had just got in. It was a beautiful truck that offered more than what we were looking for! Once again Dustin let us take the truck home for an evening to think about the vehicle, check if it fit in our garage, and just have the opportunity, without any pressure, to think about it together as a couple. It was an amazing truck that exceeded our expectations and also respected our budget. We have now had the truck for a couple months and love every opportunity we have to take it out. Simon is the best service advisor there is! Ever since we bought our car he is always happy to help, solve our problems and most importantly there for the customer. If I have a problem I go on down and Simon is more than accommodating to my needs. I have admiration for anyone in the car industry especially trying to maintain a sustainable income during these times where trying to sell a car is even that more difficult. I draw the line when lies become a big part of the "game". I know that the car industry is known for their deception but this kind of behaviour should not be rewarded as people deserve to be treated with respect. I always try to support a business that shows some kind of honesty and integrity which is not evident with this dealership. I just received a phone call from a sales representative claiming to be the used sales manager Tyler Johnston. They said they had a buyer interesting in a vehicle that I currently owned but would not say what vehicle it was. Not to mention they were willing to pay me top dollar for my car. Oh not to mention that it was not Tyler. I have spoken to Tyler on the phone multiple times and have purchased 2 vehicles from them... No longer. The last used vehicle that I bought from them had a major transmission issue that was diagnosed by actual brand dealer. I went to ask Murray Honda if they would buy the vehicle back and was told oh they would but only at the online auction price. They were only able to get $7600 from the auction when I Paid closer to $30k not even a year earlier. I would highly recommend having any used vehicle purchased from Murray Honda mechanically inspected by an independent mechanic and don't make the same assumption I did thinking that Murray Hondas mechanics do a thorough mechanical inspection as they do not seem to know much about other brands. Being a reputable dealer I trusted these guys far too much. Then thinking they are going to try and make it right. We were working on a deal for a used Honda Odyssey but wouldn't come down on the price at all... They pulled out all the excuses... Such as "we aren't making anything on this already" or "that's as low as we can go" ... "Sorry cant give you more for your trade". All soo very disappointing that this is how they treated a repeat customer... They are all yes yes yes but their words are meaningless as they don't back up their words with actions. When I recieved the call from "Tyler Johnston" today, that was the indication I needed to let anyone who reads this the heads up the kind of deceitfulness and dishonesty that this "Team" does. Not to mention the turn over is soo high at this dealership makes me truly wonder why... I am sure they sign a disclosure statement to keep the deceit a secret from the public. Oh and not to mention don't buy the protection packages as it is a complete waste. I had a flat tire from road debris which is covered by the warranty that I purchased but it was a complete nightmare as the tire was discontinued and took over 1 week to get shipped and they would not provide a courtesy car. I had seen in the Honda Extended warranty contract that is the vehicle is not repairable within a reasonable amount of time they would provide $45 per day for rental vehicle... The dealership is supposed to apply for this on behalf of the customer but Murray Honda refused as they said it is a wearable part and would not cover it. My wife kept telling me that they are just doing their job as they need to make money... I was convinced that they were honest mistakes but there is no reason that it cannot be made with honesty and integrity. This 'new' marketing ploy was the final straw for me. Even if Tyler Johnston gave his sales team the permission to use his name for impersonations that's one thing but then to say they have a buyer for my vehicle but not tell me which one this soo called buyer is looking for is completely dishonest. If looking for a Honda I would highly recommend Honda Way in Abbotsford. It is worth the 25min drive west.

Very unhappy with our recent services. Purchased an Acura tlx from this dealership 1.5 years ago... took it for a regular maintenance and was called and told we needed new breaks. We ordered our own brand of break pads and took them back to be installed a few weeks later. 2 hours after dropping off the car my husband was called and asked if he wanted the rotors machines. When he questioned if they needed done as the car is still very low km, she said they were fine. So she said just upgrade the break pads? He than said yes replace them aren’t the other ones worn? She said no they were okay. He than received another call letting him know they couldn’t get the new back pads on and were putting the old ones back on and that they were fine. Why would we buy new break pads and waste 500$ in total to have front and back done if nothing was wrong with them in the first place!!! Very unhappy!!!

Let me preface by saying Honda makes an excellent product and Murray has great individuals employed. However, I experienced a disappointing lack of delivery on promises and an absolute lack of respect for the value of my time as a customer. There is a definite lack of communication between the sales and service department. This led to repeat visits for a simple issue which ultimately wasted my time and the time of Murray Honda, both which are valuable. Management is willing to promise things such as “Show room ready.” but backtrack with “Its a used car, our hands are tied.” in order to make a sale (significant purchase for me as an individual). I have empathy as both a worker and manager for frontline staff of any establishment , I am not willing to make an employee’s day terrible by yelling at them for honest mistakes. I believe it is a terrible management practice to use these frontline workers as scapegoats then say you can’t do anything more and avoid talking about how you can IMPROVE in the future. You will never learn from your mistakes if you don’t deal with the problem directly.This stifles the process of quality control and simply makes everyone involved frustrated. I hope you can do better in the future.

Bought what seemed like a really nice Honda Pilot from them. Super friendly staff. Woke up the next morning to a vehicle and garage that absolutely reeked like cigarette smoke. I suppose it’s my mistake for not having asked if it was ever owned by a smoker but I definitely feel like they were incredibly shady in working so hard to conceal it. When I arrived the car was running and I imagine must have been for some time to air out that smell. We also found 5 odour remover buckets throughout the car hidden under seats. Multiple expensive interior cleans later there is still a faint smell. I urge you to be less trusting then I was in their seemingly lovely dealership.

Contacted them about a recall on my airbags. They emailed within a day saying that they had to order the parts and would contact me when it arrived. A week passes by so I email them back, no reply. Another week passes I try to contact them again but through the receptionist. I leave a message to be contacted by the person ordering my parts. A couple of months go by so I end up just going in and talk to a parts person. Saying of the recall parts have been there for a while. Extremely disappointed with the service.

Worst Experience ever. I though i would be responsible and had the "piece of mind service done" where they check my car over to make sure everything was in order because my car is now 7 years old. Paid over $100.00 to have this done for them to give me a list of things needing to be done worth $3,0000. I took my car to two different mechanics after to get quotes for the service needed. BOTH mechanics told me nothing was wrong with my car. They are crooks, saw a young lady and took advantage.

Terrible experience with Murray Honda Chilliwack. My husband bought me a BMW for my birthday. In the 3.5 months I have had it, it has needed 3 repairs needed. We have paid for 2 but now it needs a new $2800 heater core and they refuse to offer any assistance other than taking it back minus the taxes which in a $20,000 car is more than the repair.. Not my idea of a reliable dealership! My recommendation is to steer clear. There are a lot of other reputable dealers around.

We had an unexpected breakdown while travelling back to the Cariboo. The folks at Murray went out of their way to get us in, and even provided a nice rental car for us to get home in. They went to work on the vehicle right away, and a few things went sideways, as they sometimes can. Rather than cover up the problem and give us a $5000 bill, they were completely honest with us about their mistake and absorbed the cost (which is completely amazing considering that we would have had no way of knowing or proving that they made an error)! I would 100% recommend this service team for any work in the future

My husband and I weren't yet serious about looking for a new car, but out of curiosity we went to Murray Honda just to see what was available in their 2020 Clear-out. Levi was the first person to approach us on the lot and we instantly felt comfortable with him; we could just sense that he was a man of integrity. Levi graciously took the time to answer our questions about several vehicles on the lot, however, if he was unsure of an answer, Levi honestly told us so before setting out to find an answer for us. Being considerate of our schedule, Levi arranged for our old car to be assessed while we were test driving the new one. At no point did we feel pressured to purchase, but purchase we did as it just felt so right! For long I should write a review for these guys but didn't quite find the time. Now as Google urges local guides to write something, I decided to follow. I think this Murray Honda is The Best one that I've ever met, for two reasons, professionalism and willingness to help. When I ordered my vehicle in this summer, I was concerned that the new vehicle would be driven here and thus had a higher than normal starting mileage. When I expressed my concern the representative there assured me that no worries. He gave me a figure of expected mileage, and promised that the new vehicle wouldn't exceed that figure. I returned home and waited for the car's arrival, but still concerned. Then the car arrived, and that was totally a joy to see that the new car only was driven 8 miles! Consider that average new vehicle are 30 to 50 mileages, they must have put quite a lot of care to deliver mine! From that moment I knew I was dealing with the right dealer. So professionalism, work ethic and reasonable costs, that are reasons keep me going to them.
