I live in Calgary but heard that the folks at Mertin Nissan had easily and for a reasonable cost, had activated the Daytime Running Lights on Leafs like mine. My family and I drove to town from Edmonton for a Memorial Service for my Grandfather, and we had a tire pressure indicator light go off on our dash. Everything seemed fine, but with such a long drive in front of us, we stopped by Mertin to see if they would run the code and give us some piece of mind. No only did Jake and Ryan not charge us for the shop time to read the code and top the tires, but they also had a tech spin off the lock nuts on our wheels (because I forgot the nut at home) and replaced the lock nuts with standard nuts so that if we get a flat on the way home we can get the wheel off. All this service was done free of charge and with genuine kindness, our family is so grateful for the service we received at Mertin!
I was mailed a free oil change coupon from Nissan, and it was quick and easy to make my appt over the phone. When I got there, I brought my keys to the desk and they handled everything from there! After it was done, they brought my car around and returned the keys, as well as gave me an invoice showing everything they did. The guys at the front were awesome, sorry don’t remember names, and the guys I saw outside were all super friendly as well. Will for sure be going back here for all future oil changes. Thanks :)

Absolutely the best dealer I have ever dealt with! I spent 6 months looking for a car and had very specific wants, and all the other dealerships drove me crazy, were passive aggressive, and still continued to email, call, and text me after I said I was not interested anymore. Jim at Mertin Nissan however, got me pictures in advance of being posted on line of the car I wanted (bought a car from a trade in), and gave me all the information I needed (and talked to me like a human being :))!! ON top of everything they gave me a GREAT deal right over the phone before I drove 4 hours to pick up the car. I could not be happier with the new to me car they got me in and the salesman Jim :)

I made an appointment for 10:15 am. Got to the dealership at 10:05 as I believe if you are not early ,you are late. It is now 10:45 and car has just gone in. Why do we make appointments? I am curious. If I was 30 minutes late if they would have just taken me in when I arrived? I am so not happy. Not a good experience at all. All they could say to me is the tech is just finishing up. I have spoken with someone from MERTEN and have removed most of my review after speaking with them. I still stand by my original statement about why do we make appointments.

I had lost cabin heat, mostly. Hoped it wasn’t a heater core. The technician figured out that a previous cooling fluid change left air in the system so burped out the air, topped up the fluid and provided a reasonable bill that I was happy to pay. All done in less than a day, even with an extended power outage at the shop. Very happy ????

Shame on you. You sell and install a part on a seniors new Nissan and when it does not work you tell he "Sorry there is no warranty as it is not a Nissan part". You sold it and took money, you installed it and took money. She left with it not working and had to rely on neighbours to get it some what working. It was determined defective and still you will not help. Shame on you!

The people at the Mertin Nissan service department are the only people I care to deal with in regards to my vehicles. They’ve always been more than fair and honest with me over the 10 plus years I’ve been going to them for servicing on my four separate vehicles, two of which weren’t even purchased from them. They are a pleasure to deal with. It feels more like the family mechanic shop than a dealership.
I did not purchase my vehicle at Mertin Nissan, but all my service and work has been completed at Mertin Group. The parts and service staff great me from day one as if I was family. They answer my questions regarding my vehicle in a timely manor. We did have a miss communication regarding work but the staff stepped up and corrected father then I expected. I have had various work vehicles and personal vehicle and this by far is the best place I have experienced for parts and service.
We've bought 2 vehicles from here and they got us the best interest rate that anyone wanted to offer when I had bad credit. After a year of building it back with the help of our finance they got us an ever better rate! They work really hard to give you the best deal so I highly recommend Mertin Nissan.

This is the second time buying from Nissan, we actually came in to get a faulty censored fixed on our 2018 Qashqai and ended up leaving in a limited edition 2020 Rogue. Bryce Gauer was absolutely incredible, he went above and beyond to get us into something bigger, making sure we got everything we needed and they worked it out so we are not only on a shorter term but actually saving money and major interest. Such liar people . I was looking for couple cargo vans in Vancouver and I got some phone numbers from Nissan.ca . I called every single branches which was close to me and non of them had those kind of vans , but as soon as I called chilliwack branch , they told me they have it . I mentioned couple times that I am looking NV1500 cargo van and they strongly told Me that they have it . After I went there , we were discussing about the price on those van and finally I wanted to sing the documents and get the vans , they told me they don't have those vans . Their point was to take me all the way Around 250 km there to sell me something else and I was looking for something which they didn't have it .

I had a great experience at Mertin Nissan. I bought a used Nissan Leaf and Ken was extremely knowledgeable on the car. It was our first electric vehicle purchase and I can’t see ourselves ever going back to a gas car. Ken also drives a Leaf so that helped his credibility about the car. I’ve heard of other Nissan dealers that don’t know very much about the Leaf and how it works so if you want to get one get it from these guys!

Worst detailer for a car lot I have EVER dealt with. They left my friend in tears after paying almost 400$ for them to not even clean out the cup holders! Told her "well it was pretty bad to clean". We’ve just moved to Chilliwack and this was our first visit to the Merton Nissan service Center. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional. Jake, in particular, patiently answered some very basic questions that I had ???? and was very polite. The lady in the sales section (forgot to ask her name) too was very kind. I decided to get some work done whilst the car was being serviced and she offered me a desk and chair so that I could sit more comfortably and use my laptop???? Jake also reached out to our previous service Center in Surrey, and found out that we didn’t need to get some tests done as they were previously taken care of. He didn’t have to do that, and I appreciated him going out of his way. Needless to say that I’ll be returning back here for our next service ????

Everyone there was knowledgeable with me picking out winter tires, they were polite and strikes up conversations. The service took a little long but they provided me with an extra wash and vacuum and a sorry for that. All in all I was pleased and will be happy to go there again for the next service

I stopped in at Mertins Chevy dealership and was greeted by Brad. Polite and well-mannered introduction. After discussing that I was looking for a Little Express, he sent me to Nissan(also Mertin) to check out the NV Cargo van. Very impressed at how well the NV would suit my needs, and that Brad nailed it with a 90 second initial conversation. The lot, and the vehicles in it, are well kept and clean. I didn't feel under pressure of any sort, the test drive was like driving around with a buddy.

I was coming from out of town and looking to purchase a Leaf. I was in touch with a salesman for at least a week, worked out a deal and put a deposit on a car I thought would be my new ride. My husband and I traveled 3 hours, only to discover a big dent in the car that was never disclosed to me. Looked at other Leafs and saw scratches, dents etc. on almost every one. They offered a "great deal" on a different 2017 only to get in and find a dirty mess (not even vacuumed, seat belts covered in grease and dirt) with a ceiling that was falling apart and pilling. Couldn't even see out the window for the test drive! I was told I could probably get a shaver and clean the ceiling myself. I was also told, "we don't detail the cars until they're purchased because people might get them dirty again." Took my deposit back, went to Pacific Honda and got a great deal on a Leaf in mint shape. Very disappointed by the dishonest, unprofessional staff at Mertin Nissan. Would not trust them.

Their pre-purchase inspection failed to highlight a failing transmission when the signs of it were clear. Prior to the inspection, I noticed a whirring noise upon acceleration and while cruising in a used 2008 Nissan Altima I was looking to buy. I thought that the cause of this would be explained during the inspection, and upon completion, the technician told me that the car was in perfect mechanical condition except for a "small exhaust leak" and claimed that it could be welded shut at Midas for "10 or 15 dollars". He then went on to explain that the whirring noise is being caused by a bad wheel bearing in the front left wheel and considering that neither of these are major problems, I happily went through with the purchase. Later on, when I had the front end of the vehicle lifted for an oil change, I finally had a clear view of the exhaust and discovered that this "small exhaust leak" that the technician spoke of ended up being a completely broken flex pipe which would require a significant section of the exhaust pipe to be cut out and replaced. After driving the car for two or three months more, I noticed that the whirring noise was getting worse, and by this time, I knew that it wasn't a bad wheel bearing. I did some research and found that this is a very common problem that usually occurred before complete transmission failure with this model and year of the vehicle. And considering how common this issue is in the Nissan CVT's, it's almost inevitable that the technicians were aware of this problem. Soon after I had two instances where the vehicle would not accelerate while driving although, thankfully, both instances were when I was near my home. Had this happened on a busy road or highway, it could have caused a major accident. After the second time, the transmission began making a terrible grinding noise so I immediately took the car to my mechanic. The transmission completely stopped working as I pulled into the lot of the mechanic's shop. Luckily, my mechanic allowed me to park the car in the lot until I could find a used transmission to swap it with which took about a week. In total the repair cost $2k and the worst part about it is that the transmission broke 1 or 2 months outside of the warranty period which was previously extended due to a class-action lawsuit on the company because of their faulty transmissions (Another reason why the technicians probably knew about these problems). After the repair, I sold the vehicle as soon as I could and will never buy another Nissan. Especially after learning about how they treat the CVT problems which are present in most of their vehicles.
I got an appointment on short notice which was nice. Staff was friendly, and efficient. I will definitely be back.

I went in to Merton Nissan for an oil change, first one for my 2021 NV which had 2300kms. My appointment was at 10am, to the staff’s credit, I was told they were “running a little behind.” My vehicle was returned to me just before 2pm after a few angry phone calls regarding the delay on my part. The staff were pleasant, however I am doubtful I will return there for additional service.
Went to get a block heater installed as we recently moved to Canim Lake BC. They found that we already had one but it was tucked in a really odd place. They fixed it for us then gave us a free car wash as well. I well say the car needed the wash. They staff were so courteous and kind. They were well informed. I would recommend them to all Nissan owners. Great job guys and thank you again.

Where others were rude and annoyed about my financial situation, Mertin Nissan did everything they could and were super nice throughout the process of getting me the car I really wanted. I have had my Infiniti G37 (a nissan product) serviced here for 3 years. The service department is great they don't try and upsell you on a bunch of unnecessary flushes and cleaners. They follow correct manufacture maintenance. There prices are very good and there staff is friendly. I would recommend this place to service your vehicle. (I am a former Toyota service advisor and this is one of the few places around that won't gouge for factory trained service I drive from Mission to get my vehicle serviced here)

My brother in-law knows Ken and Tyler who work at Mertin Nissan and got me in touch with them as my partner and I were looking for a Nissan Leaf. I’m from Vancouver island and in a matter of 3 days Ken had us sorted out, gave us pricing and finance numbers we were satisfied with and a few days after we made the trip to Chilliwack to trade in our Jeep Wrangler for our new electric leaf! Fantastic service via text/phone calls and once we were there it was very quick and organized before we were back on the road enjoying our new car! Charged over $200 dollars for diagnosing a wire that was missing a nut. Nissan quoted 1hr for replacing the existing part which would of been 132?? Would not recommend. Thanks Dean. After a horrible experience at another Nissan dealer I contacted Mertin Nissan and Colin got back to me within an hour. From there we chatted online and setup an in person appointment to take a look at the new car I wanted. Within an hour we had chatted, seen the car, met with the sales manager and signed for our new purchase. Literally everyone in the dealer was friendly, and kind. Everyone wanted to make sure we were happy and taken care of. We even decided that we may be buying a second vehicle from them and they were able to take a look and start valuing our other vehicle while we were filling out the last of the paperwork and meeting with insurance. Even the General Manager came out to detail the new car for us because they had a wash guy off sick. 10/10 across the board. Bought a 2013 Nissan Leaf from Mertin , should have been a red flag when the "sales manager" refused to honour the dealers share ($250) of the scapit program. So far, all they are interested in is selling more cars, any support I requested met with "Ill get back to you" and then no follow up. If I hadn't been able to use the internet resources to repair software glitches myself the car would not be on the road. Keep getting reminders to come in for oil changes (on an electric car ?) and sales promotions though. Be very wary of this dealership. Update: Still no offer to update the non functioning 2G vehicle communications module to 4G. However I did get another reminder to change the engine oil ! Need I say more?

The work was done well, but between putting on the new tires and doing the wheel alignment, they forgot about it and it was 4 1/2 hours before I got it back. They were very apologetic and took $40 off the total. I was not impressed but I understand that mistakes happen.
The atmosphere here is great. All of the staff are super friendly. I bought a Leaf from Chad last week. I had a million questions since I didn't know very much about electric vehicles & this was also my first new vehicle purchase and Chad was super patient and helpful. I've had an issue with my 'check tire' light since bringing the car home & they have been quick to get it in to look at and repair (at no cost to me). Super happy with my new car! Would definitely recommend this location.

Always impressed with my service. Jake in the service department is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The service department and shuttle itself were super clean and COVID friendly. The shuttle driver (never caught his name, sorry) was extremely personable and professional. You could tell he loved his job! Huge thanks to the service techs who worked on my car. Not only did they go above and beyond with the maintenance of my vehicle, they even saved me some extra money when they found a small nail in my tire and patched it up! My Murano runs like new which is pretty good considering it’s a 2010! This is my 3rd Nissan and I will continue to be a faithful customer. Thanks guys!
I've been to other dealerships and they have given me way more support and respect. I am not the most normal looking customer I must admit, but to walk into a place and get as disrespected as I did was horrible. I later that day went to a GMC dealership and had no problem and everyone there looked at me like a regular customer. I will never go back to Nissan.

I took my Buick in for a service and get a few things checked over. When I went to pick my car up they had done a thorough inspection, and found the issue I had mentioned. When I got the bill I was actually quite shocked. I’m used to other mechanics charging large amounts for small jobs. This was the opposite. They went from front to back of my car, Checking over pretty much everything and anything. And when I got the bill I even showed that it was ridiculously cheap for the amount of work they did. Absolutely thrilled. Glad I bought the car from them in the first place and I will always be taking it back to them.

My wife and I recently purchased a used Sentra from a private seller, and needed a 2nd key fob , as the original owner lost one. My husband Blair Andersen and myself Elizabeth Pedersen decided it was time to update to a new vehicle. We both had Mustangs I had a 2003 Mustang I owned for 14 years and my husband received fron an inheritance and had a 66 Mustang. After much consideration we decided it was time to upgrade to a nice SUV so that we could be practical and safe in the winter time and enjoy our summer travel. We went to Ford in Chilliwack being as I had bought my old 03 Mustang from them and we wanted to know if they could work with us and we were told that they didn’t have an outlet to sell the 66 Mustang and they weren’t interested in taking either vehicle as a trade-in. We looked around to every dealer and fell in love with the Nissan Pathfinder. We really didn’t think it was possible that they could work with us given our circumstances but we went and talked to them anyways. Well Patrick Zeller (sales manager) and Tanya (sales person) were phenomenal and offered to work with us right away. They asked Scott Bate to come and look at our cars. Scott came over personally and was so knowledgable and friendly that we felt complete trust. Not only did they work with us but Scott found a buyer and came through for us in all aspects. We were treated like kings and queens and found the entire Nissan team to be not only personable knowledgable and friendly but kind of cute too:-) Miranda expertly guided us through the financing as we were dealing with two trade-ins. Now the Nissan Pathfinder speaks for itself, we just cannot believe all the bells and whistle’s and What a beautiful amazing vehicle this is. We are on cloud nine and so happy and would highly recommend these wonderful people and vehicles to you!!!!!

Great experience at the service department. I took my car in for a recall, and noticed a clunking sound afterwards. It turned out there was a problem with the bearings. Nissan wouldn't cover the replacement, but their service department did the work for free. They didn't even charge for realignment. You hear bad things about dealerships all the time, but this was excellent service.

We had a very positive experience at Mertin Nissan in Chilliwack dealing with Jeff Nery. Jeff asked us a few initial questions re what we wanted in a car and appeared to intuit just what we were looking for, so much so that the first (and only!) car he showed us was the one we ended up buying. We got a good deal on the 2016 Nissan Micra and on our 1997 Dodge Stratus trade-in. We feel well taken care of and supported by Jeff and the Mertin Nissan dealership. The more we drive the car, the more we like it.

Thank you for your maintenance. But it is not comfortable about the remote engine starter on my key and the cruise mode. The remote engine starter is sometime working, though, almotst not working. So it is not easy. The cruise mode is working about 5 minutes after I start the engine, though, it becomes to not work about 5 minutes later. This is same situation before I took your maintenance.
I have been to Nissan in Chilliwack several times now, and the service has always been exemplary! I was hesitant to purchase from a dealership as I had a few bad experiences in the past, but that most certainly wasn't the case with Mertin Nissan. I have bought 2 cars now from there, and had the same sales person each time, Jim. He went above and beyond both times, to ensure he knew exactly what I was looking for while keeping in within my price range. It took a few test drives but he was patient, friendly, and always determined to find me exactly what I was looking for. He was also incredibly knowledgeable on the vehicle itself and even taught me how to use all the features of my new vehicle (thank god, because I am not tech savvy ;) Really great service! Been looking around for a very long time and have dealt with a lot of sale reps. Wanted everything on my list at the best price possible. Work was good, no communication to let me know what was going on, my car was towed In Monday and needed the wiper linkage replaced... no contact from Nissan until I called on Thursday where they said my car would be finished that day. I have an electric car and asked that they plug it in as I was 70 km from home and wanted to get my groceries while I was there... they did not. I only had enough battery to barely make it home.
