i have revised my rating. working with the finance team it was easy to "add this and it will only adjust your bi weekly payments by $20". what they did not cover and shame on me is what the total price ends up coming to. i was to concerned with the monthly payment and they focused on that. not happy, i would never had purchased the vehicle if i knew the whole story. Horrible sales experience! The whole customer service experience feels fake. As soon as you step into the sales room you feel like you’ve enter this sales process that doesn’t feel like a natural car buying experience. The biggest thing that made me extremely upset and has ruined any future deal with this dealership. When I wanted to leave, the General Manager who appraised my car. Couldn’t find my keys, I saw him looking in his office. Didn’t find them, he went out to my car and came back with my keys that he had left in my car. ***** From the time that he got back from appraising my car to the time that I got them back it had been about 45 mins. During this time anyone could have stollen my car. Do not trust these people. They do not know what they are doing. Especially the general manager.

I recently purchased a 2013 jetta tdi from Chilliwack Volkswagen. I had an exceptional experience dealing with all the staff at Chilliwack VW. They got me the car I wanted with a shorter term and lower interest rate also threw in some extras with the car. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend dealing with Bill, Graeme and August again. Updating this review 4 years later as my jetta was written off and have now purchased a 2018 atlas from chilliwack Volkswagen. Was another great and smooth experience. Big thanks to Ryan and Vishal would definitely deal with them again:). They took a lot of stress off my plate.

They get 1 star because their parts and service advisors are very pleasant. The sales staff was unhelpful and standoffish when I tried to buy my new GTI. So bad in fact, i drove an hour and a half to Richmond and bought the car at Cowell VW instead. 5 weeks after purchase, I took my brand new GTI in for a rattle in the drivers door panel and another in the back seat, when the seats were latched upright. The car was returned to me with the rear seats folded flat(they don't rattle in that position), and obvious screwdriver damage around the window switches on the very panel they worked on. I called them immediately, and was told flat out "your car had pre existing damage" . Their "proof" of this was a pic taken by the tech "before he worked on it". Laughable. Service refused to do anything, and stood behind their tech. I was told the service manager, Mike Parker would call me the next day. 1 day later, I had to call him, because he failed to call me first. Mike Parker was immediately defensive, and discounted anything I had to say. I've never been so disappointed by a reaction. I was forced to contact VW Canada and file a claim. Sadly, VW Canada said "Our technicians are highly skilled, and we must stand behind them". They denied my damage claim. For the record, my car is 6 weeks old, and just cracked 3000km. I am the only driver, I am meticulous and its absurd to say it had pre existing damage. The part their hack mechanic ruined has a retail cost of $93. Hardly worth the negative feedback, but that speaks volumes to the types of people managing this store. My family has had VWs since 1984. I currently own 4 of them myself. I've never been so let down by a company who's flag I fly, and I've never encountered a dealer with such a lack or integrity. Incredibly disappointing.

I came into this location at the end of a very busy, stressful and tiring day. I had been up since 445am that morning due to an early morning appointment in Surrey and had visited 5-6 dealerships before ending up here. I had briefly spoken to one of the Car sales members on the phone and agreed to meet with him at 4pm that same day. Upon arrival at this dealership I was met with a genuine smile, presence and overall A+ customer service. Seeing as I had been to 5 dealerships before this one and received very poor customer service, arriving here was literally night and day in comparison. Curtis never put any pressure on me into making a decision quickly, instead he was quite the opposite. He helped me figure out what it was I wanted and how we could make my budget work for just that. Needless to say because of the customer service I received from him as well as his sales manager, I said yes to my now brand new Volkswagen 2020 Gulf. I would absolutely recommend visiting this dealership, I was treated wonderfully by both Curtis and Melissa. Thank you for the help and making me feel valued / important ! That ultimately made the difference in me saying yes rather than no. I will be a returning customer, no questions asked. Very impressed.

I was looking for a new vehicle and it was quite a process for me because it was my first new car. Nadine Endacott was my Salesperson and she was very patient and did everything she could to help me through the process. She even went as far as to personally bring a car to my house for me to view because I was not mobile. I had gone to many different dealerships and I never felt as comfortable with any of the sales people as I did with Nadine. She was very knowledgeable about EVERYTHING Volkswagen which made me feel confident in my purchase. Pathetic customer service. They refuse to cover any warranty work if a car isn't bought from them. They've shorted me on oil when I was bought oil for an oil change-they didn't know the capacity of the TDI motor. Currently they gave me the wrong oil filter for my motor. I live in Hope so this means many hours of extra driving to sort this out.

Honestly, I don't like giving less than stellar feedback unless it is to help someone else out. I was contacted by Chilliwack VW proactively offering to sell my Jetta outright through an Auction they advertise. I have emails indicating that I will be able to monitor the bids on my car and was given the impression it was available to the public. Anyway, I drove over an hour each way to bring the Jetta in. Curtis, sales guy was great! he's probably the best part but I just feel theyve been trained to deceive ppl to bring their cars in and be upsold. My Jetta was apparently put on a "1hour auction" right there and then and did not receive any bids. This auction was only available to dealers and I am unable to see any activity only what they tell me after. I wasnt even in that dealer for an hour and I was told "Sorry your car did not get any bids" but we will still buy your car for $2000 below what you want and try to upsell me on a almost 200k 2013 Jetta. I preceded to entertain the thought since I drove for so long but advised them there was a Jetta online for cheaper and less km. Braden, their GM checked the ad and said "You should go check it out" LMAO. This is their GM! Telling me to go check out a different car and buy it! No effort at all and honestly, he came off as an arrogant "Look at me I'm a GM" attitude. You work at a car dealership, you should have nothing to be proud of. Slow your role friend. Anyway, luckily I had a feeling I was in for a waste of time so I made sure I had another appt in Chilliwack that day to not completely waste my time. I ended up buying the lower KM Jetta from the other dealership and am I glad I did. The more I recall this entire situation, the more upsetting it becomes and I attribute the entire fault to the management of this place trickling down to the sales ppl. I honestly would stay away. You want a VW, drive to Maple Ridge, hell drive to Jim Pattison. Trust me, you won't regret it. This is an honest unbiased review.

Did not have a good experience here at all! Of all the dealerships we visited, while searching for my new car, this place was the worst by far. Sales Manager was only interested in talking to my husband (after we clearly stated that the car was for me), and belittled me when I asked a question. Sent us out to look at a car on the lot with a rep, but he just recited an over-rehearsed script on safety features and then proceeded to bounce on one of the doors to "demonstrate it's sturdiness". Couldn't leave quick enough after that!

My salesmen was good to deal with. Problem was with the rest of the process. I had worked out a deal and place a deposit on the vehicle I wanted. I informed them 4 days prior to when I would be coming down with a cheque to get it hoping for a quick turn around. After a 3 1/2 hour drive to get to the dealership and 20mins or so of a test drive and a few final details I was told the finance guy would be right in. An hour later a finance manager came and said she could get the credit app started. I stated again that I was paying for it in full and didn't want to finance. Told her I would pay by cheque. I was informed they don't accept cheques and I would have to go across town to the bank to wire transfer funds. The bank then let me know that this is the only dealership in town that deals in wire transfers and it was an additional cost, of course. By the time I was done and driving home my "quick turn around" was approx 2 and a half hours. Part way home as I was checking out my new vehicle it came to my attention that the vehicle didn't actually have features that were advertised on their website. Yes, my fault for not looking at each item and just trusting the advertised features on the dealership website. I don't think I will be back to buy a vehicle in the future.

Yet another case of dodgy sales tactics. See the reviews before us and substitute us for them, our Ford Flex for sale and they contacted us to trade it in for a non-existant buyer, $10k over our budget for the car they showed us and its list price was $8k over comparable cars at other dealers. And it was beat up - hole in the bumper, oil on the engine. This chain of stores (Maple Ridge, Abbotsford and Chilliwack) all do this so it is a corporate plan to be shady car dealers. Utterly offended by the experience. The staff were nice about doing these shady things. So there's that...

Ask for Jesse!. No matter where you live in the lower mainland it's worth the drive out to Chilliwack. I visited 2 other dealerships close to DT Vancouver and spoke to a lot of people on the phone. Jesse was extremely helpful and informative and provided me with the info I needed to make my decision. After how patient and helpful he has been I have no hesitation to give him an all around 5 star rating and recommend him too anyone I know. Buying a car started off quite stressful due to pushy salesmen and complicated with so many vehicle options. Both of those things vanished once I was being helped by the right person. :) Highly recommend.

Updating my review: Changing my review because Volkswagen took the time to get ahold of me almost immediately after posting my old one. They called and apologized for the issues that I had, and offered me a free oil change the next time I come in. I appreciate this and the good customer service that I have received, and will be bringing my car back to this location again. Give them one star because they got me into the repair shop quickly. As for everything else they called me and told me what had happened to my car gave me a quote and I told them to go ahead. Later they then called to tell me it would be ready in about 45 min they were going to clean and vacuum the car and get it ready for pick up. When I got there it hadn’t been cleaned nor vacuumed it looked the exact same inside. They also billed me 100 more then I was told quoted and refused to change the price. The extra 100 was for miscellaneous and they couldn’t even tell me what that meant ..???

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! bait sales tactics, dodgy at best, promise the world and deliver nothing... would not recommend to anyone! anything in "air quotes" below i believe to be a lie offered to "buy" my truck (listed on craigslist) "at the sell price listed" as they "had a buyer lined up for it" i wasn't looking to buy a new vehicle, they said that "wouldn't be an issue" so i went in. They still tried to up sell me anyways. when that didn't work the sales managers Bill Kidd and Chris Preston (stereotypical, sleazy used car salesman type) sat down to talk, feeding me the BS line about no tax on a trade in.... bla bla bla and tried to sell me a $40,000 car.... but hey! i wouldn't pay tax. they called a few days later saying the "buyer" was "approved for financing" and i should come in again and pick a vehicle to trade in. when i said i wasn't looking to buy back everything vanished... lol salesman wouldn't return my calls and apparently they were even willing to hang the "potential buyer" out to dry as they killed the sale of my truck.

He was very knowledgeable in all areas including specifics about each vehicle, model, and features as well as what payment method would be the most beneficial for us. Experience couldn't have been better! Bought a 2017 Tiguan Wolfsburg Edition 3 days ago. Graeme and Chris were nothing short of fantastic. They worked hard for my business and gave me a reasonable amount for my trade-in. All the little touches were there along the way as well...they really served me. The whole thing really didn't feel like a dealership experience...it felt like we were on the same team working towards a common goal. After the deal was done they took me and introduced me to the service people, gave me some very cool parting gifts, took me through my vehicle to get acquainted. Another thing that impressed me...they filled up the gas tank to full. Sounds like a little thing, but I've been sent on my way with a different dealership only putting in half a tank before I drove a brand new 70 thousand dollar vehicle off of their lot. They get that all of these small touches add up to an extraordinary experience, and obviously their dealer rating reflects that. 5 stars all the way!

Don't judge a book by its cover! Although one of the smallest VW dealerships I've ever seen, and as an owner of over 30 different VW models, this little dealership has brought the biggest value and best experience I've had in North America. My experience with a rather young team materialized as the most efficient trade valuation, test drive, financing and insuring that I've experienced in any auto dealership. Although the facility is a touch difficult to see, and parking is not amazing this dealership will be my go to VW dealership in BC. Amazing team culture that was palpable by the efficiency with which the transaction occurred. This dealership, although operating in the modern 3 unit model in the dealership space (Parts, Sales & Service) have managed to provide an experience and display of cohesion that is absent in so many of the dealerships forced to operated on the 3 manager model of a single facility system. To add some icing on the cake, I was offered a better deal than the Okanagan counterpart on the same vehicle, with better rates and a true & sincere feeling of a partnership in the exchange. Absolutely amazing experience! One of the biggest distinguishing attributes of the culture in this facility is that although they still sell an iconic brand, the staff have not let the brand identify themselves, as so many do when employed by legendary brands. There true comfort in saying "I don't know," can not be commended enough and the sincerity with which they listened, observed and then acted upon both verbal, written and non-verbal tells by myself is truly commendable. Perhaps they are actually a VW Canada internal training facility! Can not recommend considering this for your next dub or used purchase! Hat's off Chilliwack VW!

Shady business and sales tactics. Went there to check out a used vehicle. Was offered a good value for my trade in and was told the deal is 'only good until 8pm tonight' which turned into being 'only good until 12 noon' the next day. I hate these aggressive sales tactics but went with it because of the deal. We could not settle on final price and a few days passed. I contacted them again asking if the original deal is still valid ***see attached screenshot***. Was told yes and that they will contact me the next morning to get it going. The next morning I get a call saying the deal is no longer valid, and the price has increased by almost 5000$ due to them now 'reconditioning' and cleaning the vehicle. Both of which would've been done when I bought it anyway. But no, the price now is almost 5k more than the original deal, because they have also now 'realized the original deal would've lost them money'. Like what??? You only just figured that out now? None of it made any sense at all and was a big waste of time for everyone. They were clearly just trying to gouge me for more money. EDIT: The owner's response fails to address the fact that I was offered the deal again after the fact *see attached photo*. They have since emailed me a few times trying to resolve the situation, and states that the salesman I spoke with shouldn't have said I could still have the deal, and they 'take full responsibility' for it and apologize. However, taking full responsibility for it would be honouring the original deal; apologizing for it is meaningless. They then offered me a free oil change to make up for all of this. Like wow lol...

Check Engender light and oil light turned on while I was down on the coast helping family, not knowing what to do I pulled into the closest Volkswagen since I have a 2015 Passat, I pulled in and Yogesh Prasad helped me, he was amazing. I like to give this dealership 5-stars to their Service Department. I have been dealing with Todd and Evan since I moved to Chilliwack mid last year. I like to keep my review very simple and straight forward as follows: For Service Advisers 1.) Both Service Advisers(Todd and Evan) are very straight forward and honest like they are very upfront like if its going to take 4-weeks for repair due to parts arrival late then they will let you know before you drop off your keys. so, its your choice if you want to leave your car or not (Very straight forward...not like other dealerships...they never give time frame when you drop off keys) 2.) There are times when I went in to change parts for my car at my own choice. They always perform the service as per my request. They never question me why am I replacing these parts or who suggested me to replace these parts. Here is the honest part about them that they always tell me up front that by there is no need or required to replace these parts. I haven't seen single dealership who would actually say this before dropping off keys. For Technicians 1.) I wish I could give more than 5-starts to their service technicians. 2.) Best thing I like about their technicians is when they are working on a specific job they always go above and beyond what they suppose to do without even asking. I have myself worked in automotive industry as technician and I am saying this from my experience that no technician would would anything extra unless they are getting paid extra for it but these guys always exceed my expectations. 3.) Their technicians are very knowledgeable. Technically speaking they know what they are doing and another good thing is they charge flat rate for diagnostics. To GM: I am very pleased with your Service Department. Keep up the good work! I own Green flow Nurseries. As a return favor if you ever need any kind of flowering plants, evergreen shrubs, evergreen Trees, cedars, fruit trees or even grass sod. I broke down on the Coquihalla and was towed to Chilliwack VW by VW roadside assistance. Evan was amazing from the get go, and he did everything to make sure I could get to my weekend vacation that day lending me a car from the dealership. Not only that, but my breakdown ended up being quite severe and convoluted. Again Evan was on my side to advocate for me in order to get the best possible outcome. He went above and beyond, and helped me much more than I ever would have expected. I'm completely blown away by his help and support through this process, and I'm left feeling extremely grateful and appreciative. The entire team of people I've worked with at Chilliwack VW (Evan, Graeme and Bill) through this breakdown and the TDI recall process have been fantastic. Still using the same questionable sales tactics that give car salesman and dealerships a bad name. Full experience below: My husband and I were contacted by Chilliwack Volkswagen because they said they were interested in purchasing our 2015 Jetta that we had for sale. I was skeptical at first but their salesman assured me that they had a buyer and “could definitely buy it” and at the listed price. He said they had a buyer who was willing to pay “retail price.” I also mentioned it’s rebuild status multiple times to be sure it was okay. After checking a few times with their sales rep that they were still interested we decided to drive out from Langley to Chilliwack to check it out. On arrival they asked if we would be interested in upgrading to another car so we would only have to pay tax on the difference. Since we wanted a new car we told we could be interested but gave them a very specific budget and told them we weren’t interested in leasing a car. At which their sales rep began showing us cars ranging $10,000-15,000 over our budget. Before we test drove them we made sure to ask if we could get them near to our budget, to which the sales rep assured us they could definitely do as they were “very motivated to sell since the 2019 stock was coming in.” After we decided on one we might be interested in purchasing we sat down with the manager to go through price. Their manager told us these cars were “way out of our stated budget” but asked if we would be interested in leasing. He listed the cars lowest selling price at $8000 higher than we said we wanted to spend. He said the sales rep must have “misheard” what we said our budget was. So we said that was alright, we had mostly come to sell our car and not necessarily to buy a new one. To which the manager said they would not be purchasing our car as they “couldn’t contact the buyer.” Then the manager promised to email us a car more in our budget the following day. They gave us a small gift card for wasting 4 hours of our time and ushered us out of there as quick as they could. Later I contact the sales rep who had contacted me first asking if they had manager to contact their “buyer.” He said they couldn’t buy our car because of its rebuild status - which was mentioned in his initial call and multiple times at the dealership. Long story short. They never had a buyer for our car, they tried to sell us a car way higher than the budget we stated, and finally quickly ushered us out when they realized they couldn’t convince us to spend more money. We also never received an email from their manager. Very disappointing experience.

Took my 96 Eurovan in to fix a vibration when in drive and brakes applied. I looked up this issue and it was suggested a motor mount needed replacing. I mentioned this when bringing it in for servicing at Chilliwack VW. Was told the motor mount was fine and they suggested to take the dash apart to find the problem. Dashes do not vibrate on their own! I was charged $200 to find out nothing, waste of money. When dropping off the vehicle two employees shook hands and hugged a person who came in despite advertising social distancing and signage everywhere indicating that they observe tight regulations. I was not impressed. Took the vehicle to a VW specialty shop across the street and they found that the motor mount was in fact the issue. They showed me the old one and it was clearly broken and was evident when still in the vehicle. If you have an older VW I highly recommend you do not use Chilliwack VW for your servicing! There is a far better option across the street with a technician who has deep experience in the older models.

I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. The only reason why I'm giving it two stars is because the car has held up well so far. This was my first ever vehicle purchased and I completed the sale with the dealer, Ryan McClary. When I decided to purchase the vehicle, I put a deposit down and made an appointment to come in the next day at 9:30 to do all the paperwork and trade in my parents' used car. When I arrived the next day, my mother asked Ryan a simple question about insurance and he was rude and dismissive. From there, we took a seat to wait for the insurance broker who arrived an hour later than our scheduled time. After we finished the paperwork, Ryan took me to the car to show me how to set up the bluetooth. Ryan did not look at the car in advance and sat in the passenger seat flipping through the user manual to only realize that the vehicle only has bluetooth for calling. I informed Ryan that I felt a little cheated since the car was advertised as having bluetooth for music. I let him know that it was one of the reasons I agreed to purchase it. Ryan responded by saying, "well bluetooth in 2015 meant a different thing, you can just get an aux cord from the gas station". At this point, I just wanted to leave and went inside to make my purchase. They informed me that I couldn't use my credit card over $2500 even though I had already transferred the money onto the card by instruction of my bank. So, I left and called the bank to get my money transferred back which would take a week. I went back inside to let my mother pay in the meantime and the manager looked at me and said "well if you really don't have another way to pay we can use your credit card". He said this after I asked him 3 times to use my credit card, explained my situation, and called my bank. Finally we left the dealership and I opened a package Ryan handed me to only see he gave me the wrong carfax report! Do not do business here they are uniformed, unprepared, and lazy!

Bought a 2019 Jetta Execline from guys last year. Everything was great for the first month or so then the issues started happening. Seatbelt sensor going off for no reason, front driver seat broken so it keeps pulling up, and twice the whole cluster has been frozen. (Cant even see how fast your going) This has been in several times for these issues where they claim issues are resolved. Couple weeks later they all happen again. The car almost caused a major crash this morning for my wife. Something is wrong with the emergency stop sensors and it stopped for no reason on the Abby Mission. Phoned in to talk to Braden. He told me he would speak with his new manager and get back to me. End of the day he sent a text saying he would call me Tuesday. Guess what... 3 weeks later no call. I did however get a call from someone named Curtis. (This was not about my issues, just a random sales pitch) in which he told me he would pass everything to (Mick) I believe and 1 week later, no call. I've been in sales for over a decade and can tell you hands down companies run like this only want one thing - new business. Once you buy, you're basically just a hindrance. Obviously this car has serious issues and I want to replace it but im getting no help. I have contacted VW Head Office and now going through the CAMVMP through the Government, and also reported these safety violations as well. Will update this as the process continues.

If you’re buying a tesla, they will help link you to the app. They will explain all the different ways to charge the vehicle and which charging methods are best for your car. I recently purchased a model 3 from a ford dealership they were completely unaware that the battery was ruined, they didn’t know how to charge the car properly and they didn’t even include proper adapters for charging. When I had problems with the car they made it out like it was a tesla problem. I learned that if your buying an EV you better make sure the dealership understands the EV world. Chilliwack Volkswagen 100 percent understand how EV vehicles work and you could tell right away they were educated on the product they were selling. To add I was coming from out of town to pick up the car. On my drive out I received videos from Ryan McCklary going over the complete car. When I arrived at the dealership my car was parked out front, clean and ready to go. My paper work was ready for me to sign and they had an insurance agent on site. Braden, Ryan and Vishal work together and communicated with each other to help speed up the boring process of buying the car. My loan documents were getting finalized at the same time as getting my insurance complete to help speed everything up. Braden and Ryan Both took time to go over details of the car showing me features. I’ve bought allot of cars in the last decade and this dealership has the best customer service by far. Everyone in the building was friendly and greeted you with smiles. On my drive home I was blown away by Ryan’s help. It was 9:00pm on a Saturday night when I called Ryan with a question. He admitted he didn’t have an answer however he spent time online researching for me and called back with a detailed answer to my question. Then on Saturday morning I got another call from Ryan to make sure I made it home safely and to make sure I was still happy with the car. I will be using Chilliwack Volkswagen for my next car purchase as well.

If I could give zero stars I would. The buying experience was mediocre at best. The sales person made me feel less than awesome about not being able to afford a bigger payment. The only reason I purchased through them is that I fell in love with the car. There was zero follow up after purchase to see if I was happy with the car and the only time they contact me is for service. I even got a call once to see if I wanted to upgrade my car and when I said no the caller said to me “I don’t know why anyone would pass up this deal, it’s not a smart decision”. When I finally replied to an email and told them I didn’t want to hear from them anymore because of the awful service I received, their reply was simply “after this email confirming you have been removed from the email list you will not hear from us again.” Great! It’s what I want so personally I am happy however as a business it’s terrible, they should have tried to get to the bottom of it. This place left me feeling like I was nothing but an inconvenience. I would not recommend to anyone!

After having a poor experience at another VW dealership, I decided to give this location a try. What a great experience. This dealership is smaller and not as fancy, and as a result t feels more welcoming from the moment you step in. I was greeted and Dylan was brought over immediately. I was very specific in my needs as I had already test driven the car I wanted. told him what I needed, Dylan brought the finance guy over right away, and I explained to him what I did and didn't want to get out of this deal. Within an hour they had found my new 2017 Golf, sold my Jetta and arranged a loaner car for the day while they moved cars around. I was given a very fair price on my trade, and not oversold on the new car. Dylan and BIll were accommodating, friendly, and professional, never pushy or overbearing. My husband went to buy a tesla this past weekend . I was not able to go so this is my experience from the sideline perspective. From what I’ve heard happened and the steps it took to get this vehicle into our driveway . After having a nightmare experience from a delearship in pentiction we decided we wanted to buy our Tesla from somewhere that understood electric vehicles and Tesla’s in particular. After much communication we learned that chilliwack Volkswagen were experts with this vehicle. Ryan mcClary the sales rep , Vishal Kalia the finance finance master, and Braden Adams the general sales manager we’re beyond incredible. They explained how they charged their used vehicles ( the proper way as per Tesla and experienced Tesla owners) . They sent us multiple photos of the range and clearly explained every detail prior to us making the 4 hour drive. They noted any and all vehicle details again prior to my husband leaving the dealership. Upon arrival my husband said everything was ready to go , they were super busy ( a great sign when buying ) and had him wait in our new car to allow for utmost “ covid safety” . They had all the paperwork streamlined from financing, to insurance (even having a Tesla owner broker) , and even with being pressed for time were able to properly explain key features of the vehicle . The vehicle was identical to the advertising they had for the vehicle and all verbal representations as well. They connected us to the Tesla app as well. Chilliwack Volkswagen went above and beyond in every single step of the process to make us not only happy , informed but we will never go anywhere else but these guys to buy any vehicle. Completely the best buying experience. Feeling looked after is an understatement. Could not recommend these guys and the dealership enough just floored by their expertise and customer service. I have never in my life written a negative review for a business and have always been a strong supporter of local business here in Chilliwack, the woman working at your service department was exceptionally rude and condescending when I inquired about what to do with my leaking coolant from a 2021 Volkswagen Atlas. She gave me the impression that this wasn't her problem, and for me to come back in a week with an appointment or to figure it out myself. As I was there to just ask a question and make an appointment based on the information given to me the attitude I was given was very unnecessary. Lucky for me Abbotsford Volkswagen was happy to answer my questions and I was able to make an appointment with them (attitude free might I add). As the drive to Abbotsford is not far my personal recommendation is for anyone wanting not to be spoken to like garbage to make the 25 min trip.

Worst VW dealership I've ever been to. The car broke down while close by so I took it there, because it was the closest VW dealership and I had a repair covered by warranty. It took 1.5 weeks to have the turbocharger replaced (after they ordered the wrong one and had to order an additional part). In the end they installed the wrong exhaust sensor and after taking the car back I'm getting check engine errors.

First of all, I would like to give a big shoutout to Andie, our salesperson! The new Chilliwack VW dealership is a very welcoming environment. Andie was a very big help in purchasing a vehicle. She was very quick to show us the vehicles we wanted to see, and did not waste time showing us vehicles we were not interested in, all while keeping it a very positive car buying experience. She did an excellent job in showing us the features and demonstrating the operation of all the new technology in the cars we were interested in. Not only did she sell us a car, but she went out of her way to make sure said car was given a proper certified pre-owned inspection, and made sure everything on that car was serviced and up to spec, so that we felt confident driving off the lot knowing we were in a safe, reliable vehicle. She also pointed us in the right direction when buying winter tires for the new vehicle as well, and was able to help us work that into the financing! All in all, Andie did a wonderful job selling us a car. The rest of the staff who helped us along with the paperwork, and those who prepared the car for sale all did a great job. I had work done on my convertible beetle, they had some troubles as a toy got stuck in the motor work, they had a good laugh and struggles and didn’t charge me for the extra work and attention. Called Nov 23, 2020 seeking info on my extended warranty regarding the key replacement of the 3rd car I've bought from them. Talked to Andrew. Pleasant enough guy. Told me he'd call me back once he got ahold of the company I bought my extended warranty from. Even told me he'd set an alarm to call me back. I said thank you, I appreciate that so I'm not waiting. No call back. No big deal. Called them the next day. No answer on the key. Waited 2 more days. No call back. Called again. Was told they can't get ahold of them. But would keep trying. I called again Dec. 2nd as I still had not been called back. Same reason. Its now December 10th. Call them again. Spoke to Andrew. He said he still hasn't gotten through. Then proceeded to tell me, and I quote, "I haven't called them this week. So, yea." My car is non functioning sitting in my driveway for over TWO WEEKS. UNBELIEVABLE. I'll be sure to make a complaint with the manager and VW head office. Is that what passes for customer service here?!?

I had a very disappointing first time car buying experience, and would never recommend Chilliwack Volkswagen to anyone! After initially reaching out online on January 16th 2021, I was promptly taken care of by Chilliwack Volkswagen salesman Kyle. We spent a few days chatting on the phone and emailing. He was amazing at getting back to me efficiently and with all the info I requested. On January 19th, I decided to go ahead, purchasing a 2020 Atlas Cross Sport. Part of the sale agreement was that they would have a block heater installed on the vehicle by January 29th when I would be flying in to pick it up. Another thing to note, in the negotiations Kyle mentioned all their vehicles are sold with a BC ready package which has a value of $1000.00. I didn’t inquire further about the specifics as I trusted with a $1000 value, the all weather mats and trunk tray (both listed in the package) would be high quality for that price. The first disappointment of the purchase was having to inquire more than once for a quote on having 3M protection installed. I first asked Kyle after paying my deposit, and then two subsequent follow ups. Unfortunately by the third time when I asked on January 27th if he had gotten me a quote yet, Kyle let me know they would no longer have time before I would be picking it up in just two days. This was definitely irritating since I was consistently asking, and I would now have to drive my new SUV 14 hours back home, risking rock chips that could have been protected by the 3M. Upon arriving at Chilliwack Volkswagen on January 29th, 2021 at 9:30am, the time I had let Kyle know I would likely be arriving. I expected the signing and insurance process would take around an hour, as we had already gone over financing and credit check. Unfortunately, they were not ready for me when I arrived and I waited around for an hour, until 10:30am when they were finally ready to get started. After meeting the finance manager, who was going to be going over the paperwork, I was immediately disgusted with the improper wearing of his face mask. Not once in the time I dealt with him was his mask covering his nose, at best it loosely covered his mouth, but mostly sat below his chin. Regardless, we got through the paperwork and insurance. At this point it is now 11:30am, I’ve been at the dealership for two hours, an hour longer than necessary, had I not had to wait for the first hour of my time to be wasted while they got organized. Anyway, I was super excited to get my keys from Kyle and drive off in my new wheels! Unfortunately, this is when things went from irritating to unacceptable. Kyle informed me that the block heater had not been installed yet. I would have to wait an hour while they installed it, something that should have been done long before I arrived! After expressing my extreme disappointment, I had no choice but to wait around further. While I understand, especially as a business owner myself, that mistakes happen, this wasn’t the first thing to go wrong. I received a call an hour and a half later that my vehicle was ready and was back right away to get it. Exhausted and disappointed in the day, I realized when I arrived back at the dealership, the car hadn’t even been washed well at all. There was visible dirt covering the front end and the “BC Ready Package” which had a supposed value of $1000 was a joke. The mats don’t even compare to WeatherTech mats which are a fraction of price and the equivalent of what I was expecting. Not to mention there was no “trunk tray” in the BC Ready Package. It has become very evident to me that this dealership only cares about making a sale. As soon as a sale is secured, the follow up care, concern and customer service is non-existent! Today is March 19th, I have not heard a single word from anyone since driving away that day, and still have yet to receive my financing paperwork in the mail which they said would take two weeks.

Das Fun! That’s what it’s like now. I have driven Volkswagens since 1968 and have witnessed the VW evolution into the fine piece of technology, engineering and comfort that they are now. Should have read some of these reviews before wasting my time driving to Chilliwack. Saw one of their cars online and called to inquire about the price. The sales guy that answered had a script and asked me four questions in response to my inquiry regarding the price. When I told him I just wanted to know the price, he put me on hold to talk to his manager. His manager told me that he could give me a great deal (a bit above market value). I went for a test drive with Dylan (who was nice and knowledgeable). After the drive, we talked numbers and their scum of a manager took over. He wrote down on the paper a figure (about the price the vehicle sold for new 5 years ago) then told me about how great of a deal he can get me. He came back with a bi-weekly rate with no interest rate or term. I asked about their big "push, pull, drag" event for $3000 and he said that the number he quoted me was based on no trade-in (so basically they would quote me a higher selling price if I were to trade something in). This manager guy clearly is trying to compensate for something and tried to take us as idiots. Total scum dealership. Stay away.

Bad luck turned good Well our experience started when our 2001 windstar decided to have engine issues only after owning it 5 months. It had major issues out of town. So on the way back to our town using the highway we saw the ad for push drag or pull your vehicle for a trade in for 3000 this was a Friday night I had to work the next day. While at my work I had my wife call the dealership to find out when there open. They said that they would be open for us after 5 if we were for sure coming. Wife got a ride to my work and we drove from my work to the dealer, barley might add. By 9 pm that night we had a new car and got a trade on our van that we would have never got any where else. Loved this. Also they took our existing finance and added it to the car that no one else offered. Everyone was nice to talk to we had 2 young kids running around they helped entertain them cant say I had that help at any other dealer.

I never intended to buy another car from Chilliwack VW after a poor experience 4 years ago. I did fully intend to test drive the vehicle I wanted and buy it somewhere else. However, when I walked in, I didn't recognize a single face in the sales department. Hmmmm......interesting. I had been texting Melissa about the vehicle I was interested in and she and Kyle set me up with one to take overnight. It was great and exactly what I was looking for. However, I was having a hard time pulling the trigger and both Kyle and Melissa were so patient. They even let me take it overnight again. I never felt rushed or pressured. Kyle even jumped in a car to go pick up the one I wanted that was located at another dealership and was back before I was done signing the papers (while adhering to all posted speed limits he assured me haha). Everyone was great and they all knew my name by the end of the experience. So, I went from a 1/5 rating 4 years ago to a 5/5 star rating thanks to Kyle and the Chilliwack VW team. If you had a similar experience several years ago under the old management, I would highly recommend giving them a second chance.

I initially brought my 2018 Tiguan Highline in for issues with parking break, and found that there was a recall on rear shock on vehicle, and that it had to be taken off the road. I was given a rental (which was a base model, no blue tooth, cloth interior ect). 3 weeks after dropping my vehicle off at Chilliwack VW I get a phone call saying that the recall repair was done, and that they noticed problems with my parking break (which is why I brought it there in the first place). However, there are no parts for it in Canada so they need to order them off the factory line in Germany which will take one to two more weeks. If the parking break issues was investigated when I dropped it off, the parts would have been here by now, instead of me making payments on a vehicle I can't drive for over a month now!

My recently widowed Mother was taken advantage of by this dealership! She somehow was able to purchase a vehicle with no Driver License and on a very small pension with no other income! I am completely disgusted that the people at this dealership would allow such a thing to happen. She can not drive the car as she can not afford insurance. And the next day they told her they can not take this car back. They have a no return policy! This dealership will take advantage of anyone so do not buy their product! They are just trying to push their vehicles off the lot to anyone....they do not care who it is or whether they can afford it or not! She will be homeless living in the 2013 jetta they sold her!

This is a shady old school, kinda grungy dealership. It looks like a junky used car lot. The girl was nice enough, but you can tell she was put through the old school of pushy sales tactics, from the annoying sit down "interview', why on earth do they need to know where we work? We knew the car we wanted to see yet had to sit through a 30 minute draining interview to look at the only car we wanted to see. Interview would be helpful for someone not knowing what they want to buy, but we were specific. She was fine, place has shady vibes. They also did the we can only give you a good price if you buy NOW or you will have to pay list price....ummmm yeah sure. Prices are a bit higher as well. We went across the street and were given the keys to test drive within minutes from a no pressure guy. Fast, quick and easy.

The Tiguan is loaded with 'new to me' technology and Ryan made sure I was well prepared to drive without worry - and he continues to cheerfully answer my questions as they come up. When you drive away with a smile on your face you know it was a good experience. Finance Mgr Stefani Baron is so efficient and knowledgeable that the paperwork process was a breeze. I had a couple burnt out tail lights and figured if I took it to the dealership it would cost me a small fortune in service fees to have them replace the bulbs. It turned out my bill was less than $4 for two bulbs and they installed them for free. The two customer service staff were very friendly and helpful. The young man who changed the bulbs was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. I will not hesitate to continue to use Chilliwack VW for all my servicing needs. It's the little things that go a long way.

I was on a trip from Edmonton to the coast and had some issues with my DEF/AdBlu after a recent service. On arrival, I drove right to the dealership and explained my situation. Evan, the Service Manager was awesome! He checked the car and immediately knew what the issue was and what part I needed. He promptly got the part ordered and scheduled my car in that afternoon. I explained that if possible, I needed a loaner vehicle for an appointment the next day. It was all looked after! I received a call mid-morning the next day that my repair had been completed.
