I experienced the worst CUSTOMER SERVICE here. Please note that I am NOT complaining to the temporary equipments!! They don't care about their customers' feeling AT ALL. If this is the only Honda dealer all over the world, I would rather choose another brand!! Their washroom door lock was broken so that my friend was locked up in the washroom. What they did at the beginning was just asking my friend to open by herself. My friend was freaked out inside but the manager-looked man said if he used the key to open the door, his key would be broken!!! Also they kept playing jokes and laugh with their colleagues without considering their customer's feeling! And they spent more than 30 min to solve the problem! The salesman who were passionated to discuss the price of the car did not even come out to see what was happening at the beginning! Even the one star rating is too high for them! Next time if I meet this kind of situation, I will definitely CALL THE POLICE! Once again, I am not complaining about the temporary equipment and I am even understand that sometimes accident happens. I am complaining the terrible attitude of the stuffs! No one cares about their customers' feeling!!! Unless their stuff and the dealer are also temporary! So if you enjoy the feelings of being insulted and ignored, go ahead and choose encore Honda!

Terrible sales tactics, and curious if the sales person we wasted two hours with today was verging on illegal practices. Salesman was descent until we found a car we were very interested in and went to talk numbers in his office. He danced around providing us with breakdown of costs with financing, insisting we can get the details if we were commit to buying the car. And he became especially aggressive to when stated I wouldn't be pressured to make a decision right away without knowing how much it was going to cost in payments. We kept insisting the salesman provide us with details on financing (especially as price included add-ons we didnt ask for and stated we didnt want). Salesman repeatedly stated he wasnt there to give me numbers, that he wasn't a numbers guy. Stated he was only there to give information about the car. No matter how many times we stated we were interested just needed information costs, he kept repeating this. How deceiving!! Love Honda, and disappointed we won't be making our next purchase one. Would never consider wasting time at this dealership again.

La balayeuse n'a pas été bien passée et il y avait encore des tâches de peinture sur mon volant. - Aucun suivi d'après-vente - J'ai dû prendre un rendez-vous peu après l'achat pour que Honda me fasse une deuxième clef. Pourquoi ne pas l'avoir fait avant la livraison du véhicule ? - Tactique de vente malhonnête en voulant faire croire que le véhicule vient avec des pneus d'hiver et d'été alors que les deux set de pneus sont dus pour être changés. - Personnel plus ou moins sympathique. Certains le sont, d'autre le sont moins. - Pour le peu que je m'y connais, les prix sont raisonnables. Bref, à moins de trouver une aubaine je ne peux pas recommander ce concessionnaire.

Awful????experience. I went in with a warranty issue, at the service desk and was frustrated by the young lady's inability to "listen". She gave me very little chance to explain anything to her, before cutting me off. Afterall, this Honda dealership did NOT honour their warranty, even though I had called ahead, when making the appointment and was told they would. They certainly lived up to the stereotypes concerning dealerships, by not honouring warranties and then overcharging whenever they can, to gouge the customer! Even if I need another service in the future, I won't be back to this dealership in Chateauguay????. I would rather go to Canadian Tire. At least at Canadian Tire...they honour their warranties!

Very bad service, i bought a car in December and the summer tires where not available; they told me to come later to get them. I sent an e-mail weeks ago to come get them with no reply. I then called and they said that they are going to call me back but that didn’t happen. I called again and the manager told me u can come and get them just call me before, i called several times with no answer. Encore Honda: Worst dealership experience. Extremely rude and dishonest car salesmen. The 2012 Honda civic we went to try was said to be in "brand new" condition, something which was repeatedly advertized to us over several phone exchanges, made a scary noise each time you tried to brake, didn't have summer tires, had the spare tire in a questionable state and had rust on the rims. That being said they had offered us complimentary transport service to and from the dealership to test drive the cars since we indicated that we live more that 40 mins away from the dealership and could not test-drive the car. They did send a car to pick us up from a metro station 25 min away from the dealership, which was appreciated. However, after testing the car and informing them that we were not interested anymore in the purchase of the vehicle (because of the aforementioned and the set price), we were unceremoniously said to "find our own way home", as they wouldn't drive us back to the pick up place since we were not buying the car. Our complaints of such an unprofessional treatments was met with smirks, nonchalance and a complete lack of respect as we were told that we "were adults", that their driver "had left" and that our transport back was "not their problem". Finally after more than half an hour of complaining and negotiating with the dealership director, who initially suggested we "take a cab back", we were transported back to the metro by the same driver who brought us in (and who hadn't "left" as they mentioned earlier). Such a lack of professionalism, courtesy, honesty and common sales sense ensured that we are never to trust this dealership again, not to mention that they have made us quite wary of other Honda dealership, a brand we believed to be well-serviced because of their former reputation.

Le vendeur insistait que c'était ma faute que je n'avais pas assez roulé avec la voiture lorsque le véhicule avait besoin en réalité d'un nouvel altérnateur. J'ai été à cette journée spécial afin d'essayer 2 véhicule, une Civic SI et aussi un CRV puisque ma famille grossis je vais devoir vendre bientôt ma Civic LX 2 portes pour un 4 portes... Bon, aujourd'hui, j'appel chez Honda pour prendre un rendez-vous pour un changement d'huile et faire faire une inspection de fin de garantie et je parle de cette entretien de changement d'huile gratuit auquel j'avais bien rempli les conditions lors de ma dernière visite. La dame, Line, s'informe auprès du Directeur afin de connaitre cette offre et on me répond qu'il fallait que j'aille un coupon ? Je lui répond que j'avais bien remplis un coupon que j'avais remis à une fille qui m'avait bien accueilli lors de ma visite et elle me dit que je devais avoir aussi un coupon...et que le Directeur refuse de toute façon !!!! Ce qui me fâche, c'est que je me souviens très bien avoir demandé à la dame lors de ma visite si je devais remplir quelque chose pour le changement d'huile et elle m'avait répondu "non non, je m'occupe de votre coupon" que j'avais rempli cette journée là. Je demande alors que le Directeur me rappel pour comprendre le refus et aucun rappel de sa part. J'ai du rappeler pour savoir si il y avait du nouveau car je lui avait dit que si je n'avais pas le changement d'huile gratuitement comme supposé, que c'était la dernière fois que j'allais à ce concessionnaire. Et elle me dit qu'elle lui a ré-expliqué et que la décision du Directeur n'avait pas changé ! Alors pour un simple changement d'huile qui ne coûte pas plus de 20$ environ en main d'oeuvre et en huile, ils perdent un bon client qui allait toujours faire ses entretien régulièrement toujours à la même place depuis presque 4 ans. WOW, BELLE exemple d'un SERVICE à la clientèle EXEMPLAIRE, c'est là qu'on voit à quel point on se fou du client parfois et on veut juste son ARGENT. C'est une belle façon d'attirer des clients pour des achats de véhicule avec des OFFRES bidons.

The experience with Honda Encore was great from start to finish. Living far, i called to inquire about one of their vehicles and made a deal through the phone with their salesman Anthony. He had guaranteed me that although Honda had done their inspection, if I had brought my mechanic and he had found any wear and tear issues, they would be fixed. A belt had to be changed which they did freely as well as through in winter tires. They detailed the car to the point that the car looked completely brand new! This dealership is about appearance and high pressure sales tactic. They have poor customer services, very little interest in making a deal. Bought several cars over the years and while one can expect a certain degree of give and take in negotiation after purchasing a 2018 Honda Accord two years ago the after sale services and dealing with management for possible new purchase is very unprofessional and sales staff are more interested in looks, style, and docile customers than putting their ego aside and getting a good deal for both customer and Honda. Plus when making changes to my lease agreement, had no sympathy to the hurdles (paperwork, time and displacement) and delay that this process cause, in fact made the customer feel like they were the problem. My .0002 cents but try several dealership before committing to this one. Gave a 2 stars because the garage services, I never had an issue with them in the past two years, and were always helpful and answered my concern. Sales management needs a change or more management courses/training.

They said that it was broken even before seeing it and that I had to replace it since it is not serviceable and comes in one piece. They did an estimate of $490 to replace.the mirror. Of course I walked away. Couple of months later I decided to unmount the mirror and see what the problem is. Guess what: exactly like I initially thought the screw was untightened and it was causing the shaking. So bottom line:Honda Encore are totally INCOMPETENT or LYING or more likely both. After purchasing a new CRV last week I took the time and hand washed it myself. I found a 3 in scratch on the trunk and the trunk edge scratched. The best part is that it was repaired with a touch up pen!!!!!! After driving back and showing it to the dealer I finally got a call to have it repaired.
