I never felt rushed. Our delivery man (Matt, I believe) was also fantastic when we picked up our new car. Paper work was ready to be signed and the car was clean. Those two made up for the receptionist. The receptionist was a lady and she was unwelcoming each time we visited, but more so on the day we needed to pick up the car. When we arrived to pick up our car, we were 30 mins early as we were in the area and didn't have time to go home first. We advised her we knew we were early, but we didn't mind waiting. We were excited. She glanced at her cellphone and raised her eyebrows and stated we were very early... we knew... It just gave us a very unwelcoming feeling like we were inconveniencing her. Le directeur n'est jamais venu nous voir et j'ai du renvoyé la secrétaire plusieurs fois argumenter à ma place. C'est quand il a enfin compris qu'on était déjà client et que ça faisait au moins 3 voitures que notre famille achetait là et que juste nous on lui avait payer près de 20 000$ qu'il a accepté de nous rembourser notre dépôt, qui je le rappel, est de se lement 300$, sans jamais qu'on l'ait vu en personne. Devinez donc notre surprise quand la secrétaire nous a rembourser sans les "autorisations spéciales" du vendeur en question. Ils nous ont même dit que c'était par respect pour le vendeur qui avait travaillé si fort pour nous faire signer un contrat qui nous aurait fait serrer notre ceinture. Comme si il fallait qu'on s'excuse de faire le meilleur choix financier pour nous et nos 4 enfants... Malheureusement, ils ne veulent rien faire car je ne suis pas la personne qui a fait réparer la voiture à l’origine. Il est facile de comprendre que les réparations ont été mal effectué et je m’attendais vraiment à ce que les réparations soient corrigées. Normalement les concessionnaires Toyota sont reconnus pour leur bon services et pour les relations de confiance qu’ils bâtisse avec leur client. Mais cette fois si ils ont échoués. Chez nous Toyota c’est une histoires de famille depuis de nombreuses années, mais cela va changer car la confiance a assurément été brisée.

Really, really outstanding Toyota dealership! We were traveling through the area and had an issue with our Highlander driver's window that came off its track. Not only did Candiac Toyota respond to my distress call on a Sunday after closing hours (thank you, merci beaucoup Michel who monitors their website), they also made room for us on a busy Monday morning to complete the emergency repair (took about 25 minutes and was handled EXPERTLY by Jeff and one of his repair technicians. A lovely receptionist handled my call (in English) and could not have been friendlier or more helpful in securing an emergency appointment for us!!!! AWESOME, beautifully cordial service to an American couple traveling through Quebec and terrific repair cost (done perfectly with the utmost professionalism)! I had a deal for a new car and I insisted on a new car with a tolerance of 7 to 15 km on the meter. After paper work was done, I was delivered a demonstration car with 502 km . The seller, Francis Beaudry was very courteous and no pressure to make the purchase. Since I live outside the province, I had to have the car certified. I went to a Toyota dealership for certification. They told me the brakes are too rusty and to certify it they need to be changed at a cost of $ 800.00. Of course I was very surprised that the brakes had to be changed since the car has only 20,000 km. I contacted Candiac to have a manager contact me to discuss the brakes. I also realized that the tool kit to operate the jack was missing. We fixed the tool kit issue as they will reimburse me for the cost of this kit without hesitation which I very much appreciate. But we don't agree on the problem with the brakes. Candiac says the brakes meet the standards and the other dealer who looked at my brakes says they do not meet the standards set by the Ministry of Transportation. I'm not in a position to pass judgment on this. When the time comes in a few years to change my self, I would not hesitate to visit Candiac again. But of course I would like him to recheck the brakes :). I am very satisfied with my car. I am giving 3 stars and not 5 because of the problem I had with my brakes. Ils m’ont dit que les freins étaient trop rouillés et pour la certifier il faut les changer au coût de 800,00$. Comme de raison j’étais très surpris que les freins doivent être changés puisque l'auto a seulement 20000 km. J’ai communiqué avec Candiac pour qu’un responsable communique avec moi pour en discutter au sujet des freins. J’ai aussi réalisé qu’il manquait la trousse d’outils pour opérer le cric. On a réglé le problème de la trousse d’outils puisqu’ils vont me rembourser le coût de cette trousse sans hésitation dont j’apprécie beaucoup. Mais on est pas d’accord sur le problème avec les freins. Candiac dit que les freins rencontrent les normes et l’autre concessionaire qui a regardé mes freins dit ils rencontrent pas les normes établis par ministère du transport. Je ne suis pas dans une position de rendre jugement sur ceci. Quand viendra le temps dans quelques années de changer mon auto j’hésiterais pas encore de visiter Candiac encore. Mais comme de raison je voudrais qu’il revérifie les freins :). Je suis très satisfait de mon auto. Je donne 3 étoiles et non 5 à cause du problème j’ai eu avec mes freins. Sans cela je leur donnerais sans hésitation 5 étoiles.

My experience with Candiac Toyota is okay. The sale representatives are very helpful. However, I am not satisfied with the cleanliness of the vehicle delivered to me. I was charged $499 + $15 preperation and delivery charge on top of the asking price. The car was not clean and there were still some parts not installed. It is kind of rip-off.
