Went there today for oil change. Great Service & Very helpful staff. Price is reasonable too. They gave me proper report card for my vehicle too and explain everything briefly. Nobody tries to upsell like other independent places in order to rip customer off.Was in & out in less than 40 minutes. Would definetly go again.

Felt like the wait was a little too long to get winters put on but must have been busy in the back. Ran into another problem with a missing piece in my car but thankfully they were able to help re locate the piece with the help from the staff.
I have been a customer of Fair Isle Ford since moving to Charlottetown in 2005. I can honestly say that the staff do provide service that is second to none when it comes to both sales and service. They truly have the best interests of the client at heart. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a great experience with their new or used vehicle needs.
Disappointed, still waiting for a warranty/recall part. Driving a vehicle that my have air bag issues isn't very comforting. The communication between the dealership and it's customers could be improved. I would be nice to get an update on my recall periodically.
I would not use their service dept.,had a turbo problem got it checked and these guys said its left side assembly,i waited few months before getting it fixed and got another opinion form a different garage which said left is actually working fine its the right one which is giving me issues. I did a mistake trusting these guys,They replaced the turbo and walla the problem is still here and now they are refusing to make up for their miss diagnosis.Stay away folks!! Also i have so many friends who have had bad experience with these guys i just learned that after the fact.Not sure how even they have such a high rating.
Use their service bays for my Econoline camper van. One of only a few places in Charlottetown with a heavy truck lift. So I get Ford parts along with friendly and knowledgeable service staff. Free wireless in the showroom waiting room is also a bonus. My only regret is forgetting to call me to say "your car is ready"

While traveling from the US, a Ford dealer in Portland ME diagnosed a leaking shock in my Lincoln MKX and told that I could travel to Canada before having it replaced. Called a dealer in St John NB who said one of the parts needed was not available on Canada and would take 5 days before it could be delivered. I called Fair Isle parts and talked to Mike (the senior Mike) who told me the same thing but was creative in his thinking. After discussion with a mechanic, Mike indicated that most likely the old part could be used. He ordered the other parts for delivery the next day. Hannah in scheduling was very pleasant and professional, and worked me in for an 1:00 appointment. The work was done in an hour - the old part was not damaged. I wish this OUTSTANDING dealer was my dealer in Georgia. Thanks to all for a great experience.

Had spent a lot of time researching for a new vehicle. Had 2 cars in the running and visited with Jason Doucette a couple of times over 6mos. We had previously owned a Ford escape 2007 and then a Ford fusion. We loved both vehicles. We purchased a beautiful 2017 Ford escape with everything we wanted. Service was professional. Updates were frequent. Courtesy shuttle was always quick to drop off and pick up. They did what they said they were going to do. The only thing that disappointed me was that I had my heating system fixed and was basically told that all it was was an update/reset of the computer software. So I was a little surprised to see that that cost $121 when the way it was made to sound seemed like it was going to be much cheaper than that.

The experience was positive from start to finish. I first met Jason Doucette early on when I was researching different SUVs, with no intention to buy or lease anything till the summer. Jason was / is very easy to talk to and never once did I feel pressured.
They did a fantastic job of inspecting the truck, found something that is wrong and they are going to fix it when we can get the truck back to them.
Fair isle Ford has capable friendly staff so I rate them nearly 5/5. Ford Focus quality has not improved enough for me to stay as a Fair Isle Ford customer. I have 100,000 km on a 2005 Focus and although I have done everything possible to maintain it properly, ie. regular service and maintainance at Fair Isle Ford and annual rust prevention at Shine Depot, The power steering is leaking; the air conditioning has been leaking for several years; the rocker panel has a rust hole in it. All of these are expenisve repairs, probably 3 to 5 thousand dollars, and how much is the car worth? I thought Ford quality was improving but they are just not catching up with their competition Maybe the Ford Motor Company gets a 2/5 rating. Thus, I will probably be saying goodbye to them and Fair Isle Ford during the next year. You probably will not post this and I am sorry to write it but I am just giving my opinion. Good luck!

Not all experiences are bad. However it's clear to see customer service is a thing of the past. We bought tires in the winter of 2021, paid for the ones we wanted and made the apt. to get them on. However the tires we wanted, paid for "disappeared" and we where corralled into buying their in house studded tires, which we where not happy about but winter was here and we needed tires. 2022 we have those winter tires we didn't want put on and not long after the stud went through and left a slow leak. Ford was closed so we took it to Canadian tire where they said " this stud was put to close to the outside wall of the tire and shouldn't have been. We aren't fixing it, you'll need a new tire" When I informed Ford of this issue, annoyed I had to buy these tires, now one was flawed and now having to purchase another tire, I'm not happy. Did I receive good customer service, nope, defend defend defend defend to the point I said " ok let's just stop talking as it's clear your not hearing me nor are you going to fix the issue created here at Ford on tires we didn't want but was forced to purchase" It's basically saying " oh well fu, we've got your money" We've taken service way from Ford and will keep doing each time they let us down. Now we skate around in our truck because their in house studded tires suck, I'm nervous to go on snowy roads and we won't drive our loved ones because the tires just AREN'T SAFE There's a lot to be said for defend defend defend and its not positive. I feel so taken advantage of And hope others read this before laying all your trust in Ford

I bought a car in July (thanks Tyler) and have been in for a few service appointments (oil change and winter tires) and service is always friendly and prompt. It was great to stop in a few days ago and see the beautiful Christmas tree decorations. Thanks for supporting PEI Potatoes!
We went in with a problem with the diesel exhaust fluid that would literally shut the engine down to travelling 80 kmh, then 50 kmh, then just idle....Fair Isle Ford pushed the reset button, made us wait for over an hour with two dogs and nowhere to go. As soon as we drove off the lot, the exact same message came up. We took the vehicle to Summerside Ford, where they literally worked on it for two hours, until they finally figured out the problem, no charge. Then they FIXED it. I called Fair Isle Ford for a refund and I got the runaround, but not the refund. Anyways, winner takes all - Summerside Ford made $1,200.00, Charlottetown Ford made $100 dishonestly. If that's how you have to make your money, shame on you.

Had to get a new starter installed on our 2009 F-150 Lariat. The service folks deemed it a breakdown because we had the truck towed to the dealership. They treated it as urgent. Great job! Truck working and starting perfectly! Thank you!!

Went over there to get the alignment done on my taurus sho, the next morning the steering wheel was really stiff, i was like maybe its just the way it is. It got worse so i called them and they said they will take a look at it and never mentioned anything about charging me for looking at it. i went back to them and they took the car looked at it said oh its your steering shaft joints and not only that they charged me for it. Charged me to figure out something they broke. Complete rip off- never bringing my car back.

Sorry to report concerning my last experience with Fair Isle Ford was not as pleasant as others have reported.I have a 2011 Ford F150 .After I bought the truck,maybe a year or so after,I complained about lowering in oil by as much as a litre and a half between oil changes. I was told excuses such as ,I was not checking the oil right,that was normal to lower oil and that they don't always fill them up after an oil change??????? Finally after a visit on the first week of October I was told that they would do something for me.I was then told to bring it in on October 11th.I checked in on that Friday and was told that nothing had been done yet as they were waiting to hear from Ford Canada as to what test had to be done??? The next week I was told that I would be getting a new motor??? The next week I was told that they had to take out two pistons and check them out,then later told yes I would be getting a new motor,and that could take as long as three weeks.On Nov.10th I called and was told that the motor could be their on that day so I asked how long that would take and was told that the person who did that was out on sick leave,(only one person could do that I guess).I told them that I would be out of province for a week beginning on Nov.15 so I was told to keep the rental till I returned.The day after I left I got a phone call message saying that I had an appointment for my truck,why ,they have the truck their!!! On the 23rd I got a call that my truck was ready(,I am still not home) Messages were not being passed on in the service department.Finally I picked up my truck on Nov.24th after it being in their from Oct11th. It seems to be working fine but I have not checked the oil YET???

Service was on time. I was phoned and told what the problem and cost would be and if they were to go ahead. Therefore there was no shock when I picked up my truck. I was dropped off and picked up by their shuttle service. Driver was kind and curtious.

I have been a customer at Fair Isle Ford since moving to PEI in 1987. Never a bad experience. Staff are friendly and knowledgable and go above and beyond to provide service to their customers. My most recent experience, the purchase of an F150, has been no different. Sales staff were fantastic and worked very hard to satisfy my needs.
