I waited a long time before I wrote a review, so that it could be as candid and factual as possible. From Best Buy Auto, I purchased a 2003 GMC Envoy SLT(4x4) SUV with approximately 140,000 km. Almost a year and a half later (purchased beginning of May, 2018), I have only had to do general maintenance (oil changes, tires). It is likely due for a tune-up now, but that too comes under maintenance. The brakes are still good; I think they must have been new. I have had to replace one headlight bulb for about $8 and one bulb for the tail light and license plate. That is it. The mechanical side of it could not be better for a 2003. The motor was clean and free of any rust or damage. The interior was in excellent condition. It is obvious the vehicle was detailed; it was in amazing condition even though it was 15 years old when I bought it. A trade-in of a 2006 Dodge Caravan paid a little over half the cost of the SUV, and Best Buy graciously gave me four months to pay the balance (a payment each month), which I successfully carried out. I am very pleased with my purchase, as I am not one who knows how to tinker with little breakdowns or replacing parts. It has been a headache-free vehicle. I was always treated with respect, including one time in the four months that I did not quite have the full payment (made up for it in the following month). There was no haggling or upset by Best Buy; they simply understood. I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from them. It was detailed and in excellent condition upon purchase. Thank you Best Buy. I recently had a vehicle for sale on the Facebook marketplace and was harassed by a man behind a profile called "Bestbuyauto Chen" which claims to be in sales for this company. Each time I turned down a low offer, he would come up with another reason to offer another low price. Like maintenance on items the car isn't even equipped with. I eventually told him that I was educated in automotive repair, and he thought it would be appropriate to ask if I worked for Great Canadian Oil Change. This man is predatory and rude, don't let him fool you.

The vehicle I bought, 2007 Nissan Pathfinder, was incredibly clean inside and out, I bought it specifically for towing, one of the reasons for this specific vehicle, it had aftermarket air bag suspension spring helpers, which were damaged, but the dealership paid to have them replaced. Very happy with my purchase, they're a busy little family run place, so you do have to chase them, but overall I'm very happy with my purchase and the service I have received. I would certainly buy from them again. Thank you.

Fred is one of the nicest persons I have met in Kelowna. I bought a car from him about one month ago. Yesterday, I called him to know if he could find me someone who provides the auto-detailing service. He sent me someone this morning to my house, who cleaned my car very professionally. Much to my surprise, Fred paid in advance for the detailing for my car that I bought one month ago!! I am too happy to meet Fred. I highly recommend Best Buy auto for buying a used car in a reasonable price.

Bought a 2010 imreza wrx with a three month warranty for 9500$ and my pretty mint 2006 Colorado. Thought it only needed new suspension and a clutch. Four months go by and turns out it needs a new clutch, transmission, fly wheel, hydraulic pump, sway bars, oxygen sensor. 7900$ in repairs. Best buy auto is shady and I highly don't recommend them

Pro: car pricing for market is spot on Con: doc fees are too expensive at 1k *havent had the car checked by a 3rd party yet due to time constraint. Vehicle is running fine so far. Trust that they had everthing in check before selling the vehicle to me. If not, il get back to them and to this review hahahhaha. For now a 4 star and hoping it remains this way????????

I purchased my car about three weeks ago, before I showed up, the dealer Told me on the phone that the car is in mint condition with no cracks or broken parts at all. Once I showed up it was a totally different story, first of all, the windshield is cracked which was not mentioned, and when we plug the obd2 coder into the car, it said the code has been cleared, meaning they’re hiding a check engine light or something, the trunk doesn’t open and the frame of the car was bent. When I drove the car back home, the car was drifting to the right side., only more problems were found, heater doesn’t work, left front rim was cracked and leaking air out. And now the car doesn’t even start and needs a new starter. I paid 8600 dollars for this car, not 800. I think anyone should STAY AWAY from this dealership

I bought a Volkswagen SUV off of Fred last month, he told me the car was in excellent condition and that it went through a safety inspection. I found out later on that day that the sunroof doesn't open, and a few weeks later that it needs new struts/shocks, the rear brakes are leaking brake fluid and that the previous brake job was not done correctly at all, resulting in needing new set of calipers, rotors, brake pads, and a brake fluid flush due to high water content ( approx $5,000). I called Fred and asked if he would pay to fix the repairs for atleast the rear brake job and after day four of calling, and him beating around the bush, he refused, and offered that I could buy the parts for cheaper at one of his other business locations at my cost. Shadiest car salesman there is, I would never again buy from this dealership.

This place is a joke. Made the mistake of purchasing 2 vehicles here both times I was left with a huge bill after getting it inspected. The second time every part he claimed had been replaced was exactly what I needed to replace. He greased them up good enough to make the issues not noticeable and the second time the add clearly stated it came with a 1 year warranty. Do not buy from here you will be dissapointed. Fred you are a terrible business man.

Just visited this dealership with my son. Identified myself as the cosigner for a loan for a car my son wanted. They didnt even acknowledge I was willing to do this for him. Had him do a financing application over the owners phone?? Was denied the loan which I knew it would be due to the fact my son is just starting out to build his credit. Salesman contacted my son, stating they only do "in house" financing. Didn't purchase from them Terrible shady sales.

Awful experience buying a used vehicle. The car broke down within a few days of buying it and the owner Fred was very difficult to deal with. Paid $1500 for the used car and it broke down right away and after MUCH discussion Fred finally gave back $1250 of the $1500 given to him. He originally offered just $500. NEVER USE THIS PLACE TO BUY YOUR FUTURE VEHICLE. IT’S A SCAM.
