I gladly drove up to Campbell River after Brandon Viskovich and Gary Curtis hooked up a great deal on a 2018 Acura A-Spec TLX AWD. Right from the start I could tell I was being helped and that the effort to earn my business was really there. The fact I've been in Sales for 10+ yrs in the Auto Industry I knew exactly how I wanted to be treated. I had a Ford Escape that was having problems and got a phone call stating it was the flex plate that needed replacing. Turned out I had that part under warranty and presented them with the information. They turned around and said it wasn't that item, so I got a second opinion. My second opinion said they could visibly see a problem with the flex plate. I presented this information to Ford and told them I would like it repaired since it was under warranty. Their services team kept saying it wasn't the flex plate but finally I got them to pull apart the engine. Turns out there was warping and some cracks in the flex plate. I would never recommend sending your vehicle to the service team. They also put my vehicle through the automatic car wash and it caused a problem with the sunroof in the vehicle. I was so upset with the Ford dealership here, that I actually traded in my Ford for a different brand of car. I never want a Ford again.
Most amazing service I've ever had at a dealership. I emailed to inquire about a car and Brandon responded so quick with info and a video walkthrough. He and Gary were amazing to work with through the trade-in process as I live way up in Smithers BC. Absolutely worth the drive down for a trade in, they made the process so easy and got me a great deal. We talked to a salesman for 3 days looking to purchase a used truck. We went over the inventory according to what we wanted to buy. We made an appointment to come and see the 5 or 6 trucks that we talked about...drove from Victoria to Campbell River so excited to see the trucks as we figured one of them would fit our needs. Arrived only to find they NOTHING..NOT ONE USED TRUCK ON THE LOT. They offered a new truck which did not have the engine we wanted. We got nothing...oh yes we got a truck that day but not from Steve Marshall...at better than employee pricing. Service was good, nothing outstanding, however quality control leaves much to be desired. I was left with wet floor mats and pools of water on the carpet of my vehicle after a wash that I didnt ask for or want. Staff remained unaccomodating after being notified about the problem. Wifi is horrible.

The mechanic was knowledgeable and quick to diagnose the issue and was an easy fix, thankfully. But the dealership didn’t hesitate to charge me $425 for an hours worth of work, which should have been $135. Most of which was reconnecting the driveshaft the towing company disconnected (never heard of that before). The sales person justified the exorbitant amount because the mechanic was extremely knowledgeable and was able to sort the issue out quickly, and you have to pay extra for his experience. Um, what?? Isn’t that what the hourly labour charge is? When I refused to pay, he took $100 off but it was still way to expensive for such a quick fix. Robbery. I hope I never have to go there for repairs ever again. I highly recommend you choose a local independent mechanic.

Terrible service department. They don't know which end is up. Made an appointment days in advance to have the car serviced. Was given a date and time. Showed up on time for the appointment and left my car. Four hours later I called for an update (was told it would take two hours to work on it) and was told they hadn't gotten to it yet, but was told it would be done ASAP. Called back three hours later and was told they'd work on the car the next day. Service advisor was confused as to why I wanted to go to another mechanic, told me that "We're backed up and can't work on everyone's car today". Whats the point in making an appointment and dropping it off when the service dept opens if you can't get to it before it closes. Don't let me bring it in on Thursday and have to leave it for you to start on it on Friday. My time is worth more than that. Please pull your heads out of your rectums.

I visited Steve Marshall Ford on Dec. 7th to check on a 'clunk' somewhere in the drive train. John, the service manager, correctly diagnosed the problem and fitted the vehicle in the service shop and corrected the issue right away. Worst vehicle service I've experienced. Decent enough sales team, but don't expect much once the deal is done. I've had a few overpriced encounters with them, with the grand finale being when they broke a bolt on my truck and consequently had to fix more than intended...on my dime of course. Quite the auto "service" they deliver.

I purchased a 2019 F350 KR dually from a dealer in Alberta when we lived there. We recently moved to Campbell River and I had a small warranty issue with leaking seals on TPMS sensors. I wanted all the seals changed on all 6 tires even if they were not leaking at the time. I also wanted all the wheel weights removed so my wheels would not corrode over time, and install balancing beads. Tom in service understood everything, and got it all right the first time. Tire pressures were set properly, truck was clean, and I didn't have to go back a second time. I figured it would be a couple hundred bucks to do it all so when I tried to pay it was all no charge. A great experience for my first time to their dealership. They will definitely be getting all my service in the future. Thanks guys!

These guys will lie to you. From personal experience, do not bring them your business. Sales will make a deal with you and find ways to either increase the price or make the vehicle unavailable...all the while continuing to advertise the vehicle for sale and having the nerve to increase the asking price.

We are new forever customers of this dealership. Honestly best purchasing experience i have had, From beginning to end. our sales rep was Jerry Johnson. He is very pleasant, honest and all around awesome. We spent 3 days in this dealer ( mostly because were were a bit of a nightmare for customer.) And we had our 2 young children with us, Jerry is 1000% patient and even bonded with our kids. I have never seen anyone work so hard, i personally would have lost my patient with a customer such as myself. I recommend Jerry and this dealer to everyone. Everyone had a genuine smile on them, from receptionist to service desk. Shane one of the managers and bill from finance were awesome, courteous and efficient. We shopped around 4 dealers before ending up at steve marshall motors in campbell river and even though we paid a bit more for our special edition truck but im very glad we didnt settle for less, i will be making the 2 hour round trip to CR to get my car washes and maintenance just to keep in touch. Steve Marshall Ford helped me get back on the road. I lost my only set of keys. The Parts person Trent found the right key for my 2012 Ford Escape and arranged for a new key to be made. It was a quick fix, although my car had to be towed from Malcolm Island. All went better than expected a d they even washed my car! Made every effort to make sure all was well and I wAs happy. For my first experience at this spanking new dealership I was greeted by a friendly smiling service rep. named Sarah who explained their quick oil change to me and as I was next in line I decided to have my service done a.s.a.p while I enjoyed a coffee in their comfortable waiting area. Within 20 minutes Sarah came out to inform me that the work was done and pointed out that all was well with my vehicle. She offered to take me to the cashier after presenting my bill which by the way was very reasonable. After going over my invoice and paying same I vowed that I would return as I found the service here as fast, friendly straight forward at a very reasonable price!

Two months after I bought the 2019 F-150 a ticking noise started whenever I accelerate, I took it in twice with a answer of...”it a acceptable noise”, which by the way is now louder then ever!!! Now the pre-collision warning system is going of when ever it feels like it. So now I have to take it in AGAIN!!!! If Ford can’t fix their own product, I will take to someone who can... I’m beyond dissatisfied & disappointed with Ford!!! Not only that , but I emailed Martin over a month ago asking him to explain a question I had...he NEVER REPLIED!!! So not only is the Ford product a disappointment, so is their staff...

Took my 2008 Fd Ranger in for a check-up yesterday. When I made the appointment a week in advance, I told the service department that I was getting some severe squealing from the front end which I wanted checked in case it was damaging the wheels. These notes were on the to-do form when I arrived, and I was told to return in 2 hours or when notified on my cell. I mentioned to the service staffer that the squealing was associated with wheel rotation and that it usually (but not always) started at highway speed. When I showed up at the service bay 2 1/2 hours later, the truck was sitting in the yard. According to the staff, the service mech had driven around the yard but had not heard any noises. So no further investigation! I asked why not, and was told that the service mech wasn't qualified for that. I asked whether another team member could help and was told that he was busy but "maybe" in a couple of hours. Seeing that I had driven up from Courtenay for the appointment and it was getting on for 4pm, that wasn't a good option. So I asked why the qualified tech wasn't on this job .... the reason - he was busy on another job that had run overtime. I was unhappy! I had given advance notice of the squeak problem and as much info as I could about it, but no arrangements to investigate had been made .... and to top it off, the truck squealed like mad all the way back to Courtenay. Grrrrr!

Bought a 2011 truck that was advertised as having heated seats. Upon test driving the truck I noticed that driver side seat was not heating up. I notified the salesman but ford refused to fix the issue. I feel a bit cheated on that aspect and it has been a pain to try and figure out how to fix the heated seat element. That said, the salesman did take the time to drive the truck down from Campbell river to Nanaimo for me as I have a very busy schedule. That was a nice touch.
I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years for a reason, the service department is top notch. John and Sarah in particular are excellent with their customer service and knowledge. They are always up front with estimates and you can be certain that they will exceed your expectations. John even arranged for my car to be picked up and taken to the dealership for me the other day, saving me a possible tow charge. Courtesy drop offs and/or pick ups are so helpful and appreciated. Not to mention the washed vehicle upon pickup. Btw, my oil changes are always cheaper than the quick oil change places. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my service needs.

The service my truck got was fine, the service I got as a long time customer was worse than poor. Service rep was unapologetic and even went as far as to try and blame me for his incompetents and AND insist that I was wrong and could not recognize my own keychain when he tried twice to hand me two other peoples keys. If it was not for my service contract and warranty work, I would be going somewhere else solely because of his treatment of me and my wife.
I setup an appointment to road test the new mustang GT a few weeks back. When I arrived the car was washed and parked out front ready to go.. Always a good start. The sales guy (Martin) allowed me to drive the car freely which is important to me when spending that kind of money. All the staff was friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed my experience at Steve Marshall and I recommend anyone to purchase a new vehicle there.
Fast and efficient .
This was the best dealership by far. As soon as my husband and me walked on the lot they were there to help us with anything we wanted to look at. Our sales man (cris) was great and very helpful and very professional. We ended up buying a new f150 that day even though we said to our selfs that we were only going to look that day. We have looked at lots of trucks and different dealerships in the past month and again Steve Marshall ford was the best by far on how they treated us and got us the best deal on a truck that we love. All the employees there were great to deal with and we will definitely be going back for our services and when the time comes to get another vehicle we will be going back also. This was a very good experience for us and they were not pushy at all it made us feel very relaxed on making the right choice for us. Not too pleased at all. My car has been in the auto body collision for a week and a half now and was told it was going to be in for 12 more days at least. I have phoned several times to get a loaner vehicle and now have been told that i will not be getting one at all. Really?? I know of someone who just brought their vehicle there and got a loaner vehicle that instant. I have not been treated very well from Steve Marshall at all. I am so pissed of with them. Don't go there!!!

I am very pleased with the service I received from Jerry Johnson. Once I made a decision on the type of vehicle I wanted, Jerry immediately went to work. The end result is a vehicle both my wife and I are very pleased with and at a very good price. There was a hiccup at the beginning I felt was created by sales management. I discussed how I felt with Jerry and it was very obvious that he took my concerns seriously. All the bumps were smoothed out because of his positive attitude and willingness to help. I had my 2012 Ford Escape in for service on July 9, 2016. I was told that the service would take around 40 to 45 minutes so I went and did some shopping. When I returned an hour later, I was informed that the vehicle in front on me ran into some delays and it would be an other hour. Then I was asked if they could drive me somewhere. So I had them drive me so I could do some other business I had to attend to. About two and a half hours later I called and they were there to pick me up within five minutes. All services were completed as requested.

Worked well with my company not so well with me. Had a mechanical/electrical (plug coil) issue with my car and had to go through a runaround to get it warranty covered( purchased extended warranty. The Service Tech was less than polite and blamed me for misunderstanding in regards to my warranty. Saw the quoted warranty work cost way less than what I was.quoted for the work outside of the warranty. Not a good experience. Had a customer service representative (Nick Silva and Aaron Curran not get back to me on new Ford focus.which they ironically turned out to be a really good team on work trucks I guess the more you have to offer the harder they work. As for our work trucks they did outstanding work and got for us the trucks we needed for a fair price. The trucks all things considered were delivered in a timely matter. They also have given us quite a bit of follow up care. It was a good experience and nice to see courteous and ambitious salesmen work as to ensure our needs were met. I feel they went above and beyond. All on all I would call my experience with Steve Marshall Lukewarm but improving. However unfortunately it would take a helluva good deal to get me personally back in their. Apologies but its frankness. They may be for you they may not. I would recommend using Nick Or Aaron for company stuff. I personally am enjoying my Hyundai Elantra GT Sport which I got at Campbell River Hyundai. In my budget nice car.

After the first appointment when they couldn't determine the problem, another appointment was made and we were provided a courtesy car for the time it took to fix our truck. Dropped car off for a morning appointment because the woman said when I booked it that if there was an issue they would need time to order parts and fix it. I needed fors to diagnose a problem. It was 3hrs before they even brought my car into the shop leaving me over 4hrs without a vehicle. The women inside assured me I'd have a clean car at least after all my waiting. Then to have the man who appeared in charge of washing vehicles be so nasty rude to me about how i had to be coming back so it wasn't worth him cleaning my car. They never removed their cardboard or plastic from inside my vehicle. I have never before had such an experience at a dealership.

Took my 17 Tacoma in for an oil change (as I bought the truck from a ford dealer and carry my maintenance package through ford) Service was quick ! brought the truck home that night. In the morning found fresh oil on the ground investigated further found the filter was leaking. Steve Marshall team handled it with amazing customer service! Had the truck towed into the shop , given a courtesy vehicle for the day. When I picked up the truck it was all fixed , vehicle was washed top to bottom not a trace of oil ever leaked. The service manager even showed me pictures of the busted O-ring on the filter that caused the leak . 10/10 would recommend this dealer to a friend . Looking forward to my next service, I know that my family will be taken care by them.

This dealership doesn't honor their warranty. I bought a brand new Mustang from here and the engine went in it within a couple years. It was under 60,000 km and had always been taken in for tuneups and oil changes. They immediately turned me away and wouldn't replace the engine or offer me anything of any sort. The employees working at this ford dealership were civil, respectable, and kind. It is the owner of this ford dealership that was rude and just a plain jerk
While it took a long time to figure out the problem with my truck, they finally did diagnose and fix the problem. Thank you for your persistence and for working with me to get my truck running properly again.

A week ago I had received notice from Steve Marshall Ford that the parts were in for a recall on my 2014 F-150. An appointment was set up and on that date I drove the vehicle to the shop. After dropping it off, a free ride home was supplied for me and I was told that when the job was done , they would send a ride to pick me up and they did. My truck was waiting for me all nice and freshly washed at no cost for anything. The people were polite and very friendly and with that attitude I felt great for the rest of the day. Thank you to the people at Steve Marshall. Keep it up.
Buying the truck was easy and simple but so far the after care has not bin good was suppose to get mudflaps installed that just needed to be unpacked it’s bin over a week and I had to make contact with them to find out they are not even in yet, I found a seal on the back window that needed to be fixed still no appointment for that and the detail job in the truck is not do well at all
6 months ago we took our truck into the service department for warranty work. On arrival our windshield was in excellent shape. When we picked it up our windshield had a large crack. They stated it was from a rock chip, but after further investigation we found a v shaped chip at the top of the windshield as if an object had been dropped on same. The service dept. denied any wrongdoing. 2 days ago we took our vehicle in for factory recalls. It was to be done by the end of the day. We found out at 4:30 when we called, to find out they hadn’t touched our truck but instead mistakenly did the work on another vehicle that they thought was ours.

Past servicing has been mostly ok, but sadly there is nothing positive that I can report. After towing my broken pickup to my ford dealer, firstly, it took 3 days to order the part (drive shaft); they needed my confirmation. What was I going to do? Decide not to have my truck fixed. Even so, an order could have been cancelled if necessary. Next they decide to order the drive shaft from China by slow boat? Two weeks later when it hasn't arrived they finally decide to order it from Edmonton, at most a 16 hr drive (I've done it many times). However they order it by slow boat and it takes all week before the repair is finally made. A TOTAL OF 3 WEEKS FOR A JOB THAT SHOULD TAKE LESS THEN ONE WEEK. The drive shaft had only 90 000 km (it should last the life of the truck), but because the pickup was 6 years old, tough luck for me, I pay. The 2011 F150 is known to have a substandard driveline, almost as bad as the horrible brakes that year (64000 front brakes gone, 90000 rear brakes gone) also not covered by ford "tough luck for me" Maybe that's what ford means by ford tough...tough luck for the owner of the ford pickup.

We love the fact that we can bring in our new Ford Edge and get it washed as often as we want. We live remotely on a gravel road, so the dust is a major problem. Each time they seem glad to see us again. The service center has been proactive about checking on any of our concerns: such as the salt that gets put on our road to keep the dust down hadn't corroded our gas tank (as in earlier Edge models). The reminders for servicing are very helpful, and all of the employees are good at stepping in if a particular individual is occupied with another customer. We do not think of visits to the dealership as an ordeal!
Dealt with Matthew Meinecke, not only was it a stress free buying experience but he was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Made it a very smooth process and listened to what I needed and fit the perfect vehicle to my needs at a great price would buy again from him for sure!
Shane Lukinuk and John Vandenelsen truly jumped on the problems I had with my used 2009 F150 I purchased a few months back. When I bought it, the maintenance team at Steve Marshall Ford had went top to bottom of it; making it as good as new. However, an unforeseen leak occurred and was noticed during a routine oil change. After some deliberation and extensive troubleshooting the mechanics reported their findings to Shane and John. They made sure I was looked after, took responsibility for the missed problem and fixed it. My greatest thanks to Steve Marshall Ford for their care and expertise. You definitely earned a lifelong return customer!

We purchased 2017 Ford Escape. The experience was very positive starting with our salesperson Nick. Some salespeople can come across as very pushy, but that was not the case here. Nick listened to what we wanted in a new vehicle and showed us exactly what we asked for the first time. We really enjoyed working with Nick. We especially liked the 2 shopping bags. We had an equally positive experience with the finance manager, parts and service staff. If we had one negative comment it would be that we found the insurance agent to be a bit pushy and did not fully answer our questions. In the end we ended up with more insurance than we would normally have purchased. That said we did not view her as part of the sales team.

Recently purchased a 2017 f350 from this dealership. upon buying the truck i kept receving oh it will be ready tomorrow oh it will be ready tomorrow for 5 days straight. After that i demanded i was picking up my truck. that was all good since all that was left to be done was replacing the front window and an exterrior detail so i could Reschedule it for another time, so after having the truck for the weekend i figured i should get this stuff done sooner then later so i had an appointment made on a thursday to drop the truck off the following week on wednesday and be ready for the next day... wrong... my truck was held onto for 3 days not receving it untill the next monday to be covered with dirt streaks from not Rinsing properly, wax particles all over the truck and shoe prints at the base of my windsheild on my dash, and to top it off my truck had 45kms put on it from when i dropped it off. i will NOTeven be going back for my free oil changes SO disapointed
