They caught a major problem with the tire that was not noticed by the first company who mounted the tires. Saved me a major headache in the future if I got stuck on the side of the road with a flat.
They offered very low for trade in. Tried very hard to get me to take the low price. I said no then they said they can make it work by adding $6000 to the new car purchase. Didnt seem to listen to anything l said or requested. Over a week of trying to get me to take $7,000 for my trade in l go to Courtenay and they offer $10,000 right at the start. Much better experience than CR. Be careful. Don't get ripped off. Shop around for sure. Think on it and sleep on it. Don't rush into a bad deal.
The sales people at Campbell River Honda were pretty much up front with our negotiations. There was no "Island Package" as it was included in the cost of the vehicle. We know we traded an excellent car and likely would have done much better had we sold it privately but I guess we avoided the hassle of doing that. We are very happy with our CRV. We purchased our last car from them and the service was excellent. We trust it will be the same this time.
Good customer support in the service department. I was a little disappointed I didn't get one of my ordered parts installed in spite of a 5 business day lead time request but that is probably a warehousing decision, not the dealerships.
We have just purchased our second car from Campbell River Honda, a 2017 Honda C-RV. Although we test drove other vehicles in the compact/ midsize SUV category, the C-RV was the clear winner both for driveability and comfort. We enjoyed the small size but large storage area of our former car, an H-RV, but were looking for a more premium package with options such as power seats and a power liftgate that were not available on the H-RV. The C-RV has everything we were looking for, including CarPlay, which is a wonderful enhancement to the car's entertainment options. After only a few days , we would not consider buying a car without CarPlay, especially if you do long trips or depend on navigation in strange cities. Being able to access the power of your phone's programming, including the flexibility of Google maps, and podcasts for when radio reception is iffy, provides a nice backup to the car's systems. The new navigation system and look of the dashboard are also user friendly and a big improvement on the old system. The CRV has a nice ride and the black exterior with the new rims looks great too. The interior in ivory and grey leather is a refreshing much brighter change from the unrelenting black to which we had become accustomed. The car, while not super powered, has turbo and enough acceleration for our driving needs. In short, we love our new car. It was an easy choice to purchase from Campbell River Honda because they are a very customer oriented outlet. From sales staff to service staff, we have always found everyone helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I would also highly recommend this dealership as a place where you can get reliable ongoing service for your car. Any issues are dealt with promptly and with no questions or unnecessary fuss.
The service provided by CR Honda on my 2013 Accord Coupe is phenomenal. They are always quick to accommodate my schedule, and are always on time if not ahead in completing the service. The expertise at the service counter has always been exceptional, and is especially so since Ben arrived. A good team. And of course the work done is always done well. Very inexpensive and they always wash my Accord. I will only get my Accord serviced at CR Honda.

Paid 89$ for an oil change and a light bulb I asked not to be changed, that wasn't actually changed. When I asked the man I was dealing with, the lady at the desk said "no it was the other one", meaning both of my brake lights were out. But I checked my lights the day before and the side they "changed" wasn't burnt out so I doubt it burnt out in a day. The paper receipt doesn't specify which bulb was changed so I couldn't argue. Feeling like I was lied to and it's not much for a bulb but I can do it myself, which I did a couple weeks ago, and it burnt out again cuz the casing is broken from someone backing into me. Which I plan on buying the 100$ part and replacing myself, which they quoted me for 315$ for that one job. So don't think I will be going back. I bought my car there and have been loyal and now this. So looking for a new mechanic!!

Bought a used 4Runner from CR Honda. I was happy with the pricing and vehicle. The vehicle needed a number of repairs and I found the repair shop to be extremely friendly and responsive. The pricing was fair for both the vehicle and the repairs. The business office was friendly and professional. Only complaint is the interior of the car was not cleaned before I purchased it. It had food and spilled drink, stains, fur etc. It was barely wiped done. I ended up getting it detailed locally it was that bad. I'm not sure if that was a function of the deal we struck, maybe that wasn't included. But I've purchased many a car from dealerships and I've never had one not cleaned first. Overall, the people were nice to deal with and I felt fairly treated. I'm very happy with the vehicle. Just one small hiccup.

I bought a 2015 honda civic from Brian Calbury. Not only was the car perfect, he gave me medical advice. Got me off the drugs. convinced me that doing things his way is the best way. You were terrible at being a general manager. But when they demoted you to service manager because of the lawsuits, i thought they were being really unfair. And that nasty email. We lost a treasure! They help you find the car for you and have a premium product. Closing the sale was a great experience, I got what I wanted and I am very happy with the price I am paying.

Was looking for a new car. Tried my local dealer and they didn't seem to enthusiastic about getting the job done. So I was referred to Scott at Campbell River Honda. I called him up and told him what I wanted, and he literally had me driving away in my new car by the end of the day. I came back for my first service and the experience was just as good. They were professional, quick, and even gave my daughter and I a ride to Elk Falls and back to go for a walk while my car was in the shop. Can't praise these guys enough!

After an abismal experience at a different Honda dealer, I decided to make the drive to CR Honda. What I was met with was a competent staff that was helpful and was more than willing to work with me to ensure I got the exact vehicle I wanted. The Sales manager Scott, the floor salesman Drew and Finance manager Stacey, worked hard to get things initiated with bringing my zero km Honda in from the mainland. Although it took over a week to get my vehicle "due too its location on the mainland", Scott and his team kept the comunication lines open, through phone calls and text's to provide updates on the delivery timeline and/or possible colour changes. This to me was outstanding service, being the customer and dropping $$$$$, you want to be in the know, as waiting for a new car that is not in stock can be agonizing. When it was time to pick up my 2015 Si, I was given a detailed breakdown of the car, cautions on how to avoid engine damage during the engine break in period and a detailed explanation of the cars safety systems. The finance manager Stacey, was top notch and worked hard to ensure a smooth transaction...A+ Overall, outstanding customer service, great communications and a no BS approach to selling a car made my purchase as problem free as they come. I was only in town for the weekend. Both of my headlights had burned out, but I made it safely to Campbell River, where thankfully the team managed to squeeze me in, and make sure that I went home with everything working properly. They pointed out that my other two lights were about to go and changed those as well. And I love that I am always greeted so promptly and cheerfully by all members of the sales and service team whenever I visit the shop. Thank you!

Really rude young salesman. Assured me I could order a CTR (which I knew was incorrect). I go to the dealership and of course he tells me unfortunately they cannot order right now because the “system is down” (lie). Next I ask for some information on the 2023 CTR and he just looks at me like a deer in headlights. I dont know how these people keep their jobs without knowing anything about the cars they are trying to sell.
Repair has addressed the issue. Good that vehicle recall issue was addressed without my having to bring to CR Honda attention. Inspection "report card" helpful for planning upcoming repairs. Still waiting for Honda to get back to me with estimates on brake replacement, repair trailing arm bushing and replacing valve cover. Strange the report card didn't mention that the vehicle clock isn't working.
I find the employees to be very pleasant. They make sure that you are updated on the service work while you are waiting for your vehicle to be serviced. Offers of coffee and cold drinks are a given! They also let me use their fridge to put some of my shopping in as I ended up staying there for a good part of the day. Always a friendly greeting and smile from everyone!
Its places like this that make people hate wanting to buy a car. Totally sketchy, dishonest and downright thieves. They want your credit card number to give you a quote. There is no shortage of Honda dealerships around, do NOT spend a penny here.
I have been very satisfied with the service I have received from Campbell River Honda, and with my HRV Sport. The car runs well and is pretty good on gas , and I like the features like the back-up camera and the right mirror image when changing lanes. There was one instance of incorrect invoicing, but when I brought it to your attention, it was immediately corrected. I appreciate that kind of customer service. Looking to purchase a vehicle from these guys? Well think twice, they pick and choose the pric,e based on the customers names, gender, ethnicity. I have on two separate occassions reached out to the same person, Esther who has not budged at all from the prric.e with an ethnic sounding name whereas another so called "traditional" name, he was able to offer a discoun,t. What gives? No difference in either of the situations, same purchasing scenarios. There is a reason why I approached the way I did, as someone else who I know purchased their vehicle from here felt they were unwelcomed. I will definitely be going out of my way to file a formal complaint! Absolutely pathetic!
Very good service. Responded well when parts were not immediately available. Their whole staff responded to this parts problem. I was offered a courtesy car. I declined as I had no need of one. A sales person drove me home... asked me if I wanted to drive the Civic turbo.... Naugh, at age 67 I prefer a driver... :-) The following day the Service Manager phoned me when my car was available and could be retrieved at my convenience. Gave me the courtesy car cell number. Called their driver when I was ready. Driver responded and was at my door step withing 10 minutes. A well dome to the whole staff..
My Civic had some major issues and CR Honda treated me very well. It could have been a very stressful situation had they not been so great. I’ve made sure to tell everyone about their awesome customer service I experienced.

I have been a HONDA buyer exclusively since 1968 and just got a 2017 CR-V. The car is much superior to the 2015 in the performance and ease of operation, mainly the GPS. Honda added numerous new operational features. Now as to the Campbell River Honda personnel, I cannot find enough words to describe their competence, friendliness and willingness to help. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend my friends to the salesman Mr Kerry Lewis. Rarely did I come across a salesman this knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly and foremost not applying pressure to make a fast sale. Thank you to the finance manager and the service department that made this deal possible and help in getting special equipment to assist my handicapped wife.
I had work down related to a recall notice. The service was done in a timely manner and even got a ride to a from work. Very good experience.
My service was good - they even washed my car which was great and the staff are super friendly. My only negative comment would be that when they find stuff that they recommend needs fixing, they should call you so you have the option to have it done while the car is already in there (if you so choose) instead of having to come back another time.

Horrible experience since day one. Sales staff isnt knowledgeable about the own cars they sell. Almost every question you ask them, they say they have to look it up. That isnt a problem, but they give you the run around and with a side serving of attitude. Service department isnt any better. There isnt anyone there but they still claim they are too busy. I am not coming back here again

I've been taking several Honda products there for over a decade and the quality of work and interaction with the service team has never been better. The whole group is a feather in Honda's cap and a good reason to stick with Honda.

I live in victoria and recently bought a used fit. They drove the car down for me since I was new to the country/island and wasn't familiar with driving here yet and had needed the car urgently. I paid a deposit and took a test drive / inspected the car before we finalised the deal. The cvt was smooth and powerful and the car totally exceeded my expectations. Throughout the process, the customer service with CR Honda was exemplary. Subsequently, I realized that there was a problem with the hinge in one of the wiper blades when I washed the car. I dropped by almost 2 months later when I had to make a trip up island to Campbell River. Got my free car wash and also feedback about the faulty wiper blade. Unfortunately, they did not have stock and was not able to replace it for me. The sales manager acted quickly and promised that he will have the replaced wiper sent to campus honda in victoria so that I could go down and have it replaced. I received a call a couple of days later and went down to have it replaced! I would definitely recommend anyone to buy from them! Not only because Hondas are awesome, but they provide one of the most competitive pricing and awesome services! Good job and well done CR Honda! :)

'Diligent Search and Professional Process Having set very specific requirements (price, specification, finish level, low mileage, safety and reliability) in looking for a used vehicle and, after diligent searching over some weeks, Brandon (Sales) located a vehicle that ticked off most of the boxes! With prior approval, we test drove the vehicle over a 200KM round trip resulting in some questions concerning tire wear and brake pads status. CR Honda agreed to reassess the prior 3rd party safety check, resulting in full remediation and compliance. In this regard both the sales and service personnel demonstrated adherence to 'best practice and professional service'. A 10/10 score by any account. Registration of the vehicle and the transaction of payment and administrative paperwork, was likewise expedited with courtesy, speed, and integrity, ensuring CR Honda, I have no reservation in commending their services.
