I will never go anywhere else for tires. They were the only tire shop in town that had anything close to what I needed and they found me a tire that would work while I waited for the one they had ordered for me. I showed up minutes before closing time and I was blown away when they stayed open to get me back on the road. I can't say enough about the service I received and I couldn't be happier to have four matching tires again. Best tire shop in Campbell River by far.

I live in Kelowna, BC and I called Associated Tire to help me get some winter tires for my Mom who lives in Campbell River. I was able to do everything over the phone and Gerry and David were excellent to deal with. My Mom was able to get in for an appointment right away and they even helped me surprise her with an early Christmas present. They're my one stop tire shop and I would reccomend anybody go here for wheel work. I dropped my wheels off in the morning to get the tires swapped and new valve stems put in, classic tire shop work. They took care of it and then some. The wheel weights were mounted internally for a clean aesthetic and were painted to match the inside of the wheel, my nice valve stem caps were retained and swapped from old to new wheels as well. The attention to little details is great. Pickup was a breeze too. If you need some work done to your wheels, check em out!

Not just one positive experience but three I a row. Kermit and his team have helped our family out in two emergency pinches involving leaky brake lines. Coming from Quadra on the ferry today I made a call, and the boys made room, ushered me in, provided a courtesy car for me to pick up my boy from the dentist and went to work on my 2006 Sierra. Friday afternoon no less. Who does that nowadays? Well Associated Tire does. Another instance Kermit gave me some field advice to get my Sierra with a broken brake line safely and without incident. Five stars plus. This tire auto business is by far the best in the business. Locally owned and family operated. Well done!

Customer service with Kermit has dramatically changed for the worse in the 10+ years of doing service with his shop. Absolutely disappointed and will never spend another dime here! Also will not refer anyone ever again and not to mention re-directing everyone I have referred over the years to go elsewhere. Highly disappointed, cannot say this enough... This is 2 incidents in 3 weeks which were unacceptable only to be told invalid excuses and outright being told the customer is wrong! If I could give negative stars it would be 5!

Probably the worst experience I’ve had in a long time. Brought our Jeep in to get diagnostics done as we were having issues getting it started. When we brought her in we gave them a list of problems/things we thought could be the problem and things we fixed (We put in new spark plugs and a few other things). They didn’t even listen to us explain the problems or look at the paper they just rushed us out and said they’d fix it. Well two weeks later we call them asking for updates and they now are unable to start it at all and told us it was the computer but they couldn’t find any for that specific year anywhere in Canada and that there was nothing they could do until they got one. They told us we could come pick it up (it didn’t run anymore and we couldn’t afford a tow) so we called around and found a computer on the first call and ordered it In. Two weeks later no calls or updated nothing from them but the computer we ordered finally came In and we dropped it off for them to put in. Well fast forward another week and no calls no updates again so we have to call them and they tell us they still couldn’t get it started and they needed a new wiring harness for the computer. We finally got fed up having our jeep gone for a month so we call another mechanic and explained to him over the phone the situation what we had fixed and all the other things we noticed that could be the problem. He goes on to tell us that it’s not the computer and it’s probably a loose bolt somewhere and told us to tell them to check the bell housing bolts. Well the next morning before we could call them they called to tell us they finally got it fixed and that it was (sure enough) the bell housing bolts were loose and a few missing. They said they noticed it when they were checking the starter that one of the bolts on that was missing so they decided to check all the bolts. Well guess what, one of the things we had written down was that there were bolts missing on the starter and bell housing. But they called us to tell us that they found it by themselves as if they were the ones who found it first.... we go in to pick it up and pay and we run into more problems.They didn’t even give us a break down until we had to request it they just wanted us to pay and leave but we asked for one anyways. After getting it and inspecting it we noticed they charged us for 8 hours of labour, new spark plugs and other parts. We asked why they changed the spark plugs and they told us because ours were old (we just changed them brand new) and cracked but then when they showed us the old ones they couldn’t show us the crack... then on top of that my partner asks them if they think that the computer was ever actually the problem and he refused to answer and couldn’t give us a direct answer. Things got heated when we pointed this out and told him that it’s not fair we have to pay so much when if they actually read the sheet we gave them they would have found the problem way sooner and we wouldn’t have had to pay 300$ for a new computer. The owner Kermit got really rude and talked to us like we were stupid and said he could have charged us for 30 hours of labour but since he’s a good guy he’s only charging 8 but when pointed out it wouldn’t have taken all this time to just read the paper and sat down with us to listen to the problems he got even madder. Eventually he knocked an extra 250$ off after arguing with him for a solid 20 minutes. He wouldn’t admit he was wrong and charged us unfairly, he said “because I’m such a nice guy” he knocked the extra 2 hours off. When we finally got the Jeep back we noticed a bunch of new problems we never had before dropping it off. There was a coolant leak inside the cab and there was coolant all over the floor. They removed hoses and didn’t put them back on properly which in return created the leak. They didn’t put on the computer cover on or give us it back. They broke our drivers side door handle and it won’t lock now.We put the old computer in and it works proving it was never the problem. Never going back to them or recommending.

Well I called here today to see if they had the sized tires for my friends car. I just wanted to buy 2 tires uninstalled so I could give them to my friend for his birthday. I was told they could only sell 4 winter tires not just 2. I explained that the car already has winters on it. He refused to sell just 2 unless I brought his car in to prove that it actually had winters on it which would have definitely ruined the surprise (borrowing his car). After getting nowhere with the conversation and told that if I can't bring the car in that he won't order the tires. I know Kermit (owner) would have gladly sold me a set. Long story short I went to Canadian Tire and bought a pair of ice tires on sale without questions. Guess it's good. Never would have gone to Canadian Tire ever if not for this rude conversation. Next time I'll ask for Kermit. Sorry. Next time I guess.
