More issues! I would highly recommend checking your bill before you leave. I went for a simple oil change and was charged over 150.00 and they will not do anything about it. Horrible service, took them over 2 hours with an appointment scheduled. Friendly staff. They helped me get my first Jetta and I've been happy with it. However, my previous ford dealership was more customer service focused, more friendly and treated you like family than this one. Their service department isn't very quick and a simple oil change and tire rotation appoint.e t had lasted 2 plus hours. Very frustrating.

It's been about a month and a half now that I've leased the 7 seater 2021.5 VW Atlas Execline with the R Line package in a British Racing Green colour from Cambridge VW. I dealt with Chris Fusco and Sean Thijssen and they were both absolutely incredible people. In the finance department we were speaking with Haseeb Hassan and he was just a gem of a person. A very personable and comfortable to deal with while taking care of the financial portion of the lease. I was originally split between the VW Atlas and the Hyundai Pallisade so I took both of these for a test drive. I also took both dealerships for test drives just to see how they deal with their customers. I have to say, although Hyundai wasn't bad, I have never experienced the type of positive service that I received from Cambridge VW. That's what got me to test drive the Atlas for a second time along with some personal aesthetic issues that I had with the Pallisade. First off, VW provides a personal customized to you online platform where you can go in and view the vehicle you intend to purchase/lease and customize the trim, select add-ons, change the colour, etc. This platform is set up after you have met with a dealer and have selected a vehicle or few that you wish to view and the link is emailed to you. It was so helpful to have something like this especially during the restrictions in COVID-19. I was able to go into my online VW profile and view the vehicle that I chose, select different packages to compare the total cost, monthly or bi-weekly payments. I was also able to compare between a lease or finance option. I've never seen any profile like this from any other dealership. It's very handy for someone who doesn't have easy access to the dealership perhaps due to distance or mobility challenges. Now as for the vehicle itself, the 2021 VW Atlas is an amazing vehicle with the style, drivability, luxury and so on. It really is hard to beat German engineering when it comes to vehicles. I traded in my 2016 Toyota 4Runner Limited which in my opinion had too much chrome on it. My wife and I had discussed that we were not going to go for a top end trim for any vehicle this time because there tends to be too much trim for my liking. When we saw the Atlas Execline with the R Line package, we noticed how it stood out to us. It has just the right amount of chrome and the body lines at the fender still allow for an aggressive look. The Fender sound system has a clean and crisp sound that resonates throughout the entire cabin. The Subwoofer is positioned just right to add the right amount of boom without compromising the quality of the sound. The interior of the vehicle is so luxurious with the touchless, hand sensing screen scrolling, the amenities included with the Execline trim and the badging included with the R Line package. I could go on and on about how great the Atlas is but you just have to go in and take a look for yourself.

I always enjoy dealing with the folks at Cambridge VW, but on 2 separate occasions I have tried to drop in for a nitrogen top up. I was told I could drop in at any time to do so when buying my car, but it seems like I have to book an appointment for what seems to be a simple task. I was advised I could top my tire up with air which is fine and that is what I have had to do, but its comes as an inconvenience and a small cost especially when my service sticker says "Free Nitrogen Top Ups". I understand it gets busy and there are other priorities to look after, but I find this does not come as a good experience and would maybe suggest having something open for walk-ins.

My wife and I had an issue last week when our Jetta decided to eat our key. Fortunately this was a known issue and it was a recalled part (had received a letter in the mail...proactive of us I know) So when I decided I wanted to turn off my car the Jetta wasn't having any of it. I called the service center and they told me to bring it right in and they would have someone look at it asap. Within 40 minutes they had fixed and washed my Jetta and told me to hit the road and they would mail out the receipt to save me time. Unbelievable service! Would highly recommend

I'd like to share my story with you to as a learning experience as much as a review of Cambridge Volkswagen. I found my Golf on Autotrader and reached out via online chat and spoke with Sheldon who was very polite and friendly. I expressed my interest in the Golf quoting the stock number and asked if it was a VW certified pre-owned vehicle? Sheldon put me in touch with a sales team member and that's when I met Manny Gomes. Upon joining the chat Manny answered "yes and yes" that "That Golf is available at the moment and it has had the 112 point VW Assurance inspection". That was a perfect way to start for me. I was also informed that the vehicle was to undergo $3000 worth of reconditioning work which made me more interested. By this point I had done a ton of research on the Golf and VW CPO so what I was reading is exactly what I wanted to see. So I asked Manny if this TDI was worth coming to see from Toronto. His answer, in retrospect, was an honest one. "I think so. it's in nice shape, has the right equipment and is certainly priced right". We agreed to meet the next day for a viewing and test drive. When I arrived at the store I saw the Golf parked by itself like it was waiting just for me. It looked very nice from the distance I saw it from. I mentioned in the beginning of this review about learning experience and here is where I learned a few things. I inspected the Golf before Manny came out to join me and I wasn't impressed because I naively expected to see a car in showroom condition. The reality is it was a 2013 used car that needed some work done to it to bring it to where I expected it to be. Manny assured me after I pointed some things out that it would definitely be taken care of and would look right, should I choose to purchase. He told me the mechanical work was not done yet but the 60k service had been performed. I half heartedly took the Golf out for the test drive and....wow! To say I was impressed by the ride and torque of this machine is an understatement. But my mind was made up, I'd look elsewhere for my TDI. I returned to the dealership shook Manny's hand and drove away. I felt like I was duped, like I was fed a line just to get me to the dealer to see the car so I could be convinced to buy something I didn't want. I was wrong. The biggest thing I learned about the car business is a simple one sold cars take priority over unsold cars. I test drove a few other Golfs at other stores after Cambridge Volkswagen and there were things that needed attention that would be taken care of before the car was delivered. The Golfs were not VW CPO and were not in as nice condition as the one at Cambridge VW. I had changed my mind and I wanted that Golf at Cambridge Volkswagen! I reached out to Manny and put down a deposit to hold the Golf while it was being reconditioned and prepared for a second showing. The second time I saw the Golf it was like a different car. It was exactly as Manny said it would it would be, nearly perfect. I agreed to buy it on the spot without another doubt. As Manny said it would be. Let those words sink in. As Manny said it would be. From the moment I first chatted with Manny Gomes to our first in person meeting to the subsequent 100 or so email correspondence he has been nothing but honest, candid and straightforward. I took delivery of Golf this morning and I have never been as satisfied with a car buying experience. If you're in the market for a new or used Volkswagen you owe it to yourself to visit Cambridge Volkswagen. As Manny said it would be. Shayne Little

Very bad service. I went to Cambridge VW for an inspection because I felt my steering wheels bit tight and lack of pick up for my 2017 Jetta. They asked me to wait and it took an hour. Later they said there are no issues with the car and gave me the report and paid around 140$. In the report they said they did a road test and no issues found. The funniest part is when I went to pick my car, my car was on the same parking lot, the same way as I parked unaligned to the lot. I understood that the car wasn’t taken out for road test. Surprisingly, they wrote tyre pressure 36 psi in all tires for which i have filled 40 psi just before I gave it for service thinking the tightness of steering was caused due to flat tires. Very disappointed. Never ever gonna return to this facility.

I had been looking for a unicorn of a Beetle - manual transmission 2013 VW Super Beetle - for 8 months with little success until I saw Cambridge VW’s ad just before the holidays. I sent them an email asking for some specific photos of the car and got a response from Victor who had brought the car in, washed it and took 40+ photos of the car for me before I decided to make the trek out to Cambridge. When I arrived, I was greeted by Aaron and Victor and brought to see the car. Victor was extremely patient with me while I looked over every inch of the car and answered all of my never-ending questions! After some not-so-great experiences with other dealerships, I was very happy with the level of customer service provided. All of my questions were answered and concerns met with compromise. Didn’t fix the recall and lied on the inspection report, horrible service! I brought my car in for an airbag recall fix and my steering wheel controls were not working. They told me they fixed it but said there is still an airbag light so I can book another service in the future. When I reminded them I had warranty, they knew what part I needed and I wouldn’t need another diagnosis (interesting that I only needed another diagnosis if I was out of warranty?). It gets worse...I picked up my car and was shown the inspection, I was told that my car worked perfectly. The car horn is still not working but they checked on the report that it does work. Airbag and horn are major safety issues, they allowed a vehicle under warranty to leave with neither in working order. They did not fix what they said they did (airbag and steering wheel controls), they threatened me with paying for another service to diagnose the problem and then lied on the inspection report about the horn working when it does not. How hard is it to actually test the car horn? Obviously too much work for VW! I’m disgusted. I bought a vw because it’s safe and Cambridge Service has left me with a very unsafe vehicle. Edit - I brought it back in for the repair (clock spring). I was given a ridiculous excuse for how the horn could have possibly honked for their inspection, with a blown clock spring. The service manager could not give me any reason for all the errors made on my file and offered nothing to make up for the horrible mechanical service and customer service. Oh yeah - the first work order overstated my km by 17,000, the second work order got it right. If the first job wasn’t sloppy, how did they not even enter the correct mileage, mileage doesn’t go backwards! So sloppy and nothing but excuses. I was shocked how bad this was start to finish.

TL;DR Go here at your own risk! Posting this back as after many enquiries and chances to own up for VW Cambridge these guys definitely have either intentionally not done their job properly (after 3 tries!) or just don’t know how to. The whole episode started in late October when I went there for a regular oil change for my Jetta - the service rep I had told me the oil housing filter might come loose and the oil pressure light might come on. Guess what, it came on 3 days afterwards. What a coincidence eh. So I call them up again and the 2nd time when I bring it in another rep says the oil pressure switch is faulty, and is replaced. The problem isn’t solved. Yes they did try and go over it again a third time and borne the expense but clearly why would you admit that you short-filled the oil and starved the engine of it? Obviously the light would keep coming on! The VW service interval is 15000 kms, I barely just completed 7 and a half so haven’t even driven that much since. And no Mr. Mark, Manny I do not want to let your techs near my car ever again so please do not bother. A disgruntled VW customer probably not coming back for another VW car especially from this dealership.

Just go to Brantford VW. Can't really believe how these guys are still in business. Went in on Saturday 3 weeks ago to book a service and was told there wasn't anyone available to book a day and to call during the week. I did that, it went to voicemail, I left all details, but have yet to hear a peep from them to this day! Not to mention the times I have dropped in to check out new cars, and the salesman scurry into the nearest office for a "meeting". Or when we were told in 2012 that "the golf R wasn't in Canada yet" but to "ask Brantford VW about it as they specialise in the R". Upon arriving at Brantford that day there were 4 R's on the lot of which we bought 3 of... And a lot more vdubs since as fleet cars.

One of the best experiences in buying a car I have ever had. Emailed them an offer via Autotrader, received a polite response within 20 minutes, agreed to a price and test drove the car the following day - The car was very clean and sales rep was well informed on all the details of the vehicle. Few days later, I picked it up and sales rep went through all the functions of the car for my spouse and I in great detail. He understands your needs and does not push to get certain trims options etc. He clearly shows all the small fees, not ripping off customers like some other car dealerships. You will never find "dealer added accessories" that you never knew about. Also, Kyla Fair, a financial manager makes customers feel great about getting a new car and never push to get the unwanted extended warranties. She respects what the customers wants and give the personal space to consider the offers. I have contacted all VW dealerships within 50km, and this was the best dealership you could ever find.

What a terrific experience buying a car at Cambridge VW. We just purchased a 2016 GTi and love this car!!! Mike and Aaron were great to deal with - no pressure - they just helped us along through the process as we worked our way to finalizing the purchase. Both are very personable. Mike even called us later to tell us the car will now take regular gas versus premium. Nice touch. You can tell they believe in what they sell. Great car. Great service. . Great people. (Only issue is that the rest of the family all want to drive the car too.) Highly recommend.

I have had to bring my car in multiple times for different services including emissions stuff, oil changes, and most recently brake repairs. Sara at the service desk is BEYOND helpful. She take the time to answer any questions I have, as well as explaining (in detail when required) what will be happening and when. The team follows up frequently via text message so you're always aware of what is happening with your vehicle. this most recent time I was able to have someone pick me up and I dropped off my car, but the times previous, they have been able to help me out with a loaner for the day. Compared to other dealerships that I have dealt with in the last few years, Cambridge VW has been nothing short of exceptional. I have been dealing with Cambridge Volkswagen for over 12 years now and have recently purchased my 5th vehicle from them, this time for my 18 year old. Over the years I have always dealt with Manny in Sales. Manny is a staple of that dealership and during his time as GM has given it an unprecedented reputation of exceptional customer service...from Sales to Parts to Service. They truly are a Team that cares. I have dealt with many other car dealerships but never have gotten that "at home" feeling the way I experienced it at Cambridge VW. At Cambridge VW you are not taken for a ride...unless it is a test drive. They are transparent, fair, accommodating and most importantly appreciative of your business. Many dealerships promise you the blue from the sky during their sales pitch and usually things then fall apart when you transition over to their Service Department. Not so at Cambridge VW. Their core values can be found in all their Department. It's in their DNA. Most of you have had the displeasure of dealing with a disengaged Parts Associate right? Well, wait till you get Mitch on the phone. This guy could not be any nicer if he wanted to. He treats every customer with the utmost of respect and does not rush you off the phone. My 18 year old is now an ear-to-ear-smiling proud member of the VW family and I am sure my 14 year old is already configuring his own VW. To the entire Team at Cambridge VW, especially Manny and Mitch, keep doing what you're doing....please! ;-)

Cambridge Volkswagen - one of the last beacons of hope for customer service (a dying art). I looked for a Golf R for some time. Due the rarity of the car in the condition I waned, I worked with and visited 5 different VW/Other dealers spanning across southern Ontario (Windsor, London, Cambridge, Scarborough). Not even one, came close to the level of service and friendship Bryan Sarty at Cambridge Volkswagen provided. I test drove new and used Rs, pragmatic price analysis drew me to a used vehicle still carrying a balance of powertrain warranty. Unfortunately all 3 of the used Rs tested had a slipping clutch to varying degrees (a common problem on Rs not covered under warranty -consumable part). Each dealer reacted quite differently upon the delivery of this news, the worst of which (Formula Honda) denied there was a problem. After I demanded they see for themselves, admitted the problem was severe but there was nothing they could do for me when asked if they could repair and meet halfway since I had driven 4.5hr to see the car after a week long correspondence with the dealer "That's the risk a customer takes when they come to a dealer" was the response I received. The next day they lowered the price $500, poised to sell to an unwitting buyer no doubt. An absolute dichotomy from Formula Honda, Cambridge Volkswagen apologized profusely for the concern firmly stating this issue was not acceptable and the vehicle would be repaired completely without an increase in the purchase price before it would be sold, Bryan even offered to make a 2.5hr round trip to bring the car closer to me for delivery. I upped the ante and asked if I could pay the difference to upgrade the the Audi TTRS clutch and pressure plate (a common upgrade) and to my surprise Cambridge responded with YES! Bryan delivered the car to me almost a week ago now and it has been completely flawless, the upgraded clutch is fantastic - stiffer and a bit more grab than the original part in any of the Rs I have driven but very OEM feel. I shipped the clutch friction disk to Cambridge VW at my own cost because it was not available to Canadian dealers for some reason, Cambridge ordered and paid for the pressure plate, throw out bearing, all torque to yield fasteners, and has not asked for compensation! I will report back if anything changes but at this time they actually exceed the original deal, and covered most of the upgraded part cost! Thanks for taking the time to read my novel! I don't normally post reviews but felt compelled to in this case. Save yourself the time and stress I went through and head straight to Cambridge Volkswagen, they are worth the drive.

I'm very happy that I decided to go to Cambridge Volkswagen to purchase my car. I currently live out of town in London and I was in the market for a Volkswagen CC. I was looking at cars at other dealerships narrowing down my options. I took a trip to Cambridge Volkswagen where I met Victor. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating to what I was looking for. Unfortunately, I had an issue with a front headlight that was needing a replacement after only having the car for 1 week... It turned out that the car I have has high end parts so it would be a pretty pricey replacement (especially after just buying the car). I called Victor and told him the situation. He was very helpful and understanding of my situation and wanted to help. He spoke to his management team at Cambridge Volkswagen and they were able to schedule me for an appointment to correct the issue. Amazing customer service! You know, in life things can happen from time to time without fault or reason but it's how a company responds and reacts to these things in efforts to help is what sets them apart from the others. Cambridge Volkswagen stood by their product and wanted me to be happy. I’m sure that I wouldn't have gotten such amazing customer service if I had gone anywhere else. Good dealership with nice people. Oil change is expensive, but you need to bring your car after every 16000 kms, so not that bad. Do I want to buy a car there again? Absolutely, good cars! I tested the Atlas cross and love it. There is a very little maintenance for these cars; changing break's every 3 to 4 year's and no transmission changes at all. I definitely recommend to buy VW!

I just recently bought my new car, a 2021.5 Execline Atlas, from Cambridge VW. After considering all of the local VW dealerships, I ultimately went with Cambridge VW due to the responsiveness to my initial inquiries and attentiveness when I visited the dealership to meet with a sales rep and take a test drive. I dealt mainly with Saul, but also Sean who stepped in to help out when Saul was tied up, and both were great resources for all my questions and giving a detailed overview of the car's features. The finance department was great as well, with Haseeb being very personable and available to answer all my questions throughout the process. What I appreciated the most was the pressure-free nature of the entire process. Options were presented as add-ons, but it was a balanced discussion of exactly what was involved, the full-in cost and an honest opinion on whether given my specific circumstances it was truly needed. When the day came to pick up my car, the process was quick and painless with Haseeb and Saul well prepared to get me on the road quickly. I was asked to help a friend find a great car! After doing some looking, Cambridge VW had a terrific Audi that ended up being perfect for my friend. It was exactly as described in the ad without any stories on arrival. Extremely rare! The staff was really friendly and coming from downtown Toronto, we took notice immediately! Sean (sales manager) was extremely helpful and friendly and my friend (female) bought the car. There was NO pressure whatsoever which would have sent her running out the door very quickly! We drove over 100 KM to this dealership because they had the perfect SUV for sale. I am writing this review because as soon as we walked in you could sense everyone working in the dealership was having fun and getting along. Great vibe! I have an expensive import that I purchased from a dealership in downtown Toronto. I've had nothing but problems with customer service from the time I bought the car until now! 3 years into the lease. I've even switched the dealers where I service the car twice due to sheer rudeness and lack of customer service. The long story short is... I felt good about bringing this dealership some business from TO that they may not have otherwise received. Keep up the great work and if you are looking for a VW... consider venturing out to Cambridge where they refreshingly treat their clients with friendliness, kindness and have a genuine desire to provide good customer service. I can't recall the name of the fellow that took us through the warranty options (my apologies!) but he was super nice and I really appreciated that he took my friend through the options and purchase of the vehicle without making her feel uncomfortable or pressured in any way. Besides other maintenance, had a coolant flush done and later after leaving noticed that my coolant reserve had no coolant in it; that would cause serious damage to my jetta; burst the water pump, destroy my radiator and blow my engine, is that sabotage? Just when we thought we couldn't be anymore disappointed with Volkswagen, we visited Cambridge Volkswagen. We are one of the affected owners of a TDI. Throughout owning the vehicle, we have loved the vehicle, and hated our dealership experience. The service department has been rude, and shortcoming in the service experience through out owning the vehicle, yet we continued to use their service out of convenience. That came to an end this week end. We went in to visit the sales staff to begin looking for a replacement vehicle, and what we were met with was a rude, unhelpful sales associate. That sealed the deal for us, and we will be cutting all ties with Cambridge Volkswagen. After leaving Cambridge Volkswagen we travelled to Crosby Volkswagen in Kitchener, and had a pleasant experience. We found their staff helpful, courteous, and sympathetic to the whole TDI ordeal. They realize this is an opportunity to lose or gain a customer for good, one who has loved the vehicle, and hated the experience. One star is more than I would give Cambridge Volkswagen, but that is the minimum google will allow.

A few weeks ago we received our new VW piece of engineering from Manny and this dealership. The entire transaction from purchase to delivery was efficient, painless and an absolute pleasure. We knew exactly what we wanted, and Manny delivered. He was extremely prompt in replying to all my messages which for me was outstanding and one of the reasons we came from Markham to complete this transaction. He’s a man of action! We’ve bought a lot of vehicles in our past and this was by far the best car buy experience ever. As a bonus, I really enjoyed Manny’s personality. He’s down to earth, honest about everything including pricing and he’s got oodles of character. And after 20 years in the business he knows his stuff. Mitch, the service advisor and Kaitlyn who managed the paper work were also very helpful and pleasant. If fact after possession of the vehicle, I had numerous technical questions for Mitch about the vehicle’s features and functions and he instantly, without hesitation knew the answers and explained the VW’s engineering behind it. That was impressive because in my experience there are many dealer advisers and mechanics that have no idea about specific technical questions without extensively researching the matter or not having an answer at all. I can’t say enough. If you are in the market for a VW, I recommend that you give this dealership a chance to earn your business. They were exceptional with us and I believe they won’t disappoint.

We showed up the morning after an ice storm (unannounced) to test drive an Atlas that they had in stock... it was buried in the back and it took a team of them to dig it out (over an hour). They asked if we wanted to wait- we went for coffee and came back to test drive it. They all had a great attitude in spite of the situation. We fell in love with the vehicle. Manny was our sales guy - put us at ease, no pressuring sales tactics, simply down to earth and easy to deal with. Any questions we had were answered and our needs were met. Financing details were easy, pickup was smooth with a detailed run through on how to use the system of the vehicle. Kyla helped us with financing forms and any extra questions and we were followed up less than a week later with a phone call to make sure everything was going well and checking if we had any questions. I would go back to this dealership in a heartbeat. I have had bad experiences with car buying experiences at other dealerships, this was by far my best experience. Visited this dealership with the intent on possibly purchasing a Volkswagen Tiguan or Jetta (wasn’t sure if I wanted to go the sedan route, test drive of either was the plan) Aside from the customers waiting in the service area... there wasn’t a single customer anywhere else. Multiple times staff walked right past me, zero offers to assist and at one point two looked directly at myself and my friend who had accompanied me - literally having to walk within inches of us to get where they were going and not even a hello. I didn’t expect to be treated like a visiting royal with every tiny need attended to with the highest level of urgency.... but a “Hey how can I help you today... any questions about this car” would have sufficed. Away I went without having test drove a Tiguan or a Jetta.

Great service; took my 2018 VW Atlas in for an oil change and they were great, so much so I then purchased new snow tires from them and had them installed on Tuesday. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, so much that the service adviser even filled out the tire rebate paperwork for me to send in to Continental Tire. I will definitely be back to this dealership for all my service work, they really know how to treat a customer and their parts and service pricing is very reasonable so there is no need to waste time 'calling around'.
