Had a great experience working with Moe in purchasing my vehicle. He was very transparent about the flaws of the car and had the mechanics immediately repair an issue I noticed upon test driving. The vehicle was clean and a mechanical report and Carfax were readily available. He was great at answering my questions and we were able to agree on a very fair price and he even gave me some referrals for after market products. There was no pressure and he gave me lots of space to make my decision. He didn't treat me like a dumb girl, like lots of other dealerships unfortunately have. One week later, and I am very happy with my car and feel like I definitely made the right choice.

UPDATE: So, my review did get some attention. Issues are now completely resolved, and now for the review I always did want to give them. Moe was the salesman we worked with, and he was amazing. All the guys are absolutely incredible at Southview Motors, even Ramzi. ???? I have in the past been screwed over by a different dealership, but here, the guys came to my aid. We figured out a solution, and got the vehicle back up and running in tiptop shape. It was a pleasure to work with them on a solution, and it was so kind of Ramzi to really go above and beyond to make things right. This is definitely a dealership I would go back to, it's only a couple more years until my kid starts driving and this is by far the first place I would go to again. Thank you all at Southview Motors for restoring my faith in dealerships, and for the amazing vehicle. ???? I thought this was the perfect place to buy my car. All the associates were very friendly, not pushy at all. Bought the car, and have had nothing but issues with this car that was supposedly perfect according to the staff... So far I've had to put $500+ into this vehicle that I bought 3 weeks ago.. and then you try and speak to anyone again, or have anyone call you back... Impossible!! Not impressed, and I would never recommend this dealership to anyone, let alone my worst enemy.... hmmm.. maybe this will get their attention...

I've purchased and sold a ton of vehicles over the last 12 years or so in Calgary, and I dealt with dealerships, car lots, and private sales. You have to be very careful dealing with ANY of those situations, but usually for different reasons. When dealing with a car lot, you want to make sure you are not buying someone else's problem, since they often purchase vehicles from auctions. I did run into an issue with a vehicle I purchase here, and these guys were excellent to deal with about it. Because of how I was treated, I will go back again when its time to buy another vehicle (which for me is 1-2 years). excellent courteous staff, reasonably priced vehicles, and they really do want to see you happy with your purchase, or will do what it takes to get you to that point. Recommended.

I went to look at a Jeep Southview Motors had for sale for my 17 year old daughter. The overall condition of the Jeep was great. I pointed out a couple small problems that should be fixed and if they were I would be happy to buy the Jeep. The two Mo’s were a pleasure to deal with. As soon as I pointed out the problems they immediately sent the Jeep for repair at no added cost to me. I definitely recommend Southview Motors! All their cars come with a complete inspection which is hard to find in Calgary. It gives you added insurance compared to buying privately. I also got a great deal on a year protection plan for the entire power train! I will definitely be back to look for a used car for my son in a few years when he turns of age! We like the car and the only issue was A/C not working, we made a deal with the proviso that Southview would pay for the A/C repair. Our mechanic back home thought it was just a recharge but it turned out the compressor need replaced. The 5 star reviews are the real deal! I stopped by last week to look at a couple of Honda crv's and a Rav 4 that they had, and I meet Ramzi, who was the most non-pressure salesperson ever meet! He let me take each vehicle for a test drive, was very upfront about the condition of each vehicle and let me slowly (over a couple of days) make up my mind. Oce I had narrow it down to one vehicle ( Honda crv exl) Ramzi and Moe, we're an absolute pleasure to deal with. When my wife had a closer look , she discovered a few minor issues and once again Ramzi took care of everything! We took delivery of our new( to us!) Buying a used car is always a foray into the unknown. I wasn't too sure about a 'used car dealer', but I was very pleasantly surprised. Moe was completely up front and didn't use any smarmy sales techniques (which would have made me run for the hills!). I'll be upfront, I do like the vehicle I bought and Moe was very friendly and personable. I debated over 2 and 3 stars and wish I could have given 2.5. The reason for the 3 stars is the lack of transparency about many hundreds of dollars added in fees (granted I should have read the bill of sale closer , although all the individual costs also weren't gone through either, just the totals, and I should have been more familiar with the law). Check out the AMVIC website for Alberta's all-in pricing law - documentation fees must be included in the advertised price, not added in later. Also, the vehicle condition wasn't disclosed properly, in my opinion (it had been in an accident) and the there was a smell that wasn't noticeable at first due to what I think was an "armour-all" type smell from cleaning, but when I went to start the vehicle cold the next morning, the smell was coming from the vents and in the interior. I have spent days and money deep cleaning the whole interior, vents, and cabin filter. I still may have to get it professionally detailed to completely get rid of the smell. Like I said, I like the vehicle and it was a pleasant experience, but I wish they were more upfront about the car and the fees. Live and learn.
