Super unprofessional. I called ahead to say I was interested in looking at a vehicle, and when I got there, I was greeted by some new guy that didn't even know the english words for car parts, let alone ever sold a car. He lead me to the back to show me the vehicle which was stuck behind other cars. I had to ask him to move it out into the open so I could actually look at it. He then knew nothing about the car and the best thing he could say about it was that he knew someone that had one. Awkward test drive. And then after, while looking at the car again, he lights a cigarette, which I watched him lean into the vehicle with. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Never going back.

I bought a little Chevrolet Aveo as my first car a of couple days ago from New Western Motors and my experience was beyond exceptional. Not only did they make sure the car was in perfect order at our request; getting the timing belt replaced, the oil changed, and an inspection report and more, but the price for all of this service to be done was only a bit over the original price of the car which normally would have likely been over $1000 if I had to get this service done by myself. Also the people working at New Western Motors are very friendly and we're so helpful to me. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a used car! Thank you so much New Western Motors for making my experience of getting my first car an easy one!

Michael was very relaxed, polite and straightforward. We were presented with carfax report and maintenance records without having to ask. Test drove a nice Camry and put a deposit on it. It was the first car I test drove and almost bought it on the spot however, wanted to check out a couple of other vehicles before making final decision. Even though we decided on a different vehicle from a different dealership, which was more practical for us, the deposit refund took about 2 min. This was s very positive experience. Would definitely come back, if and when I need to look for another vehicle.

Very poor experience, Manager is so rude and didnt even give us refund and sales lady (Karen) left us while we asked her to get refund. Staff doesnt know their job and they sales car without knowing about their car. We were there to buy Kia Optima 2016 and when we went to pickup the car they said there is no 2nd fob key and spare tire and they refused to give us money back. I will not recommended this place for your car. Very poor service and wasted our theree hours to argue.

I will never come back there and dont recommend this place to any one. I was going to buy a Ford Edge here, I found out sunroof had a problem, we agreed on the price and they were supposed to fix the sunroof. After a week they called me that the car is ready, it was close to the new year eve so it took us an hour to get there, since he was smoking sigaret he took us to the back shop, I test the sunroof and this time it was not working at all, they wasted my time with zero and poor customer service. I'm not sure how they are still doing business in Calgary with this behavior and customer service.

Im adding to this post ...went out to murray Chrysler in okotoks and they got me financing in a day through td Bank for a way newer more luxurious vehicle that cost more than the one i tried to buy off NWM. Horrible! Called about a Tahoe on Wednesday that was for sale, they said it was available, drove 3 hrs to go see it and possibly buy but when we got there it was sold. I would not recommend dealing with this location. I was interested in a bmw x3, so I got a separate inspection. I was pressured into paying 500.00 to hold the vehicle until the inspection was complete (no strings attached). The inspection found many issues that didn't show up on their inspection. After letting them know I was not interested in the x3, they were very rude, and proceeded to be very disrespectful. When I asked for the 500.00 back, they were angry. I found Kieran to be very unprofessional, and would not recommend this experience to any potential buyer!

These guys mislead me and presented the car as something it was not. I bought a 2014 Hyundai Veloster. It had the "turbo" badge installed on the trunk, and everytime I referred to the car as a turbo model they never once corrected me. The car in fact was not a turbo model, it had only been made to appear like one from the exterior, and they made zero efforts to correct me when i identified it as one. They were also very sneaky when it came to the financing paperwork. The owner drivers a Subaru WRX STi. This is no different from slapping an "STi" badge on a base wrx, and trying to claim it as such. As a buyer coming to dealer, there is an expectation that you are paying for what you see. Very shady business. Buyer beware.

At first, they were super helpful and willing to help me find the right car. I hoped that I could have confidence in their compliance inspection and trust the car I eventually bought from Michael. Just after the 30 days I took the car back to them for a shimmy in the steering wheel and they dismissed it as ice build-up (seemed reasonable at the time). Two weeks later I just spent $1,200 on repairs that I was told were already done and hope I don't have to replace the whole engine. Bottom line - their inspection is a complete joke! Do not buy a car from them unless it is subject to an independent inspection. Called Michael to let him know of my experience and received absolutely no call back. Horrible Service!

I recently purchased a 2008 BMW X5 from New Western Motors. I saw their classified ad and phoned to get further information on the vehicle. Kieran, a product specialist at the dealership, answered my call and was very knowledgable about the vehicle. I decided at that point to drive out from BC to take a look at it. Upon my arrival it was Kieran who helped me, came along for the test drive and walked me though the purchase including helping me with registration and insurance questions I had. I brought the vehicle home to BC at which point I noticed that the second key was not working properly. I contacted New Western and they took care of the cost of a replacement key as well as programming. They also located the sunshade that had been missing from the back of the vehicle and sent it to me. I feel that Ken and his team really took care of my concerns and went above and beyond my expectations. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from them in future and would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality used vehicle at an affordable price.

My wife and I recently purchased a Mercedes from New Western Motors. I have to say it was an excellent experience. Ken and the rest were great to deal with and we got, by far, the best offer on our trade in. We also purchased the car at several thousands $ less then the actual Mercedes dealership in Calgary for the same year. What's more, the car was detailed in the true meaning if the word; not simply tidied like some other dealerships like to sell you the car. Also, when signing the papers it turned out that the car we were trading had some unresolved financing on the title which turned out to be a simple clerical mistake. We had already switched insurance for the new car so we thought the deal was at risk. What was amazing is that Ken not only still took our car as a trade to save us the trouble from dealing with insurance again but also resolved the matter by himself by contacting the national representative of the brand and getting it quickly rectified. We even got a follow up email that everything was in order and there was no need to worry. It's rare but great to see a business willing to go above and beyond these days. Thank you guys for the great experience. Keep up the great work! Definitely recommended.

After a very long search for a good value car, I came across a Honda Accord Coupe from New Western Motors. On our first test drive, Michael was very helpful, grabbed us the keys right away and allowed my family and I to go for a drive alone. This was a nice touch because we got to openly discuss the car and perceived benefits and issues all within a stress free, low pressure environment. I felt more comfortable having my personal mechanic look at the car before purchasing, and they accomodated my request and dropped it off at the mechanics about 25 minutes away from their shop, something not every dealer would do. After a positive mechanical inspection, I purchased the car! Negotiation was also very open, and they allowed us to have independent, private discussion between each offer. finally, we had direct communication with the manager before closing the deal. It has been a few weeks, and nearly 1500km since purchase and myself and my family are able to feel very happy and comfortable with our purchase. Thanks Michael and New Western Motors for a fair price, and easy stress free negotiation. Car shopping can be difficult and stressful, but at new western it was a great personalized experience.

They were very up-front about the car's history etc and had carproof and AMVIC inspection details available to show. When I picked up the car it was the cleanest detail job I've seen to date. On October 12th 2018, I bought a 2012 Chevy Cruze from New Western Motors for $8300. With a minimal warranty. The inspection report they showed me indicated the car having no issues. As I was driving it home that night the check engine light came on. I live 2 hours from Calgary. The next morning on the 13th I took it into the Chev dealership in Brooks to have the code scanned. Davis Chevrolet. The code was P0420 Catalyst System Low Efficiancy. The mechanic told me this was likely a failure of the cam shaft cover and quoted me $380 for the repair. I contacted New Western Motors about this and they agreed to etransfer me $280 for part of the repair. I accepted this.I scheduled my car in for the repair on the following wednesday. October 17 2018. The repair was completed. $380.98 While doing the repair they discovered that the cooling fan was not functioning properly. It was only working on high when the engine was getting warm. The lower speeds were not engaging at lower engine temps. I was quoted $763.29 for this repair and I scheduled the repair for October 22 in the afternoon. I had contacted the dealer about this and they were not getting back to me. The repair was completed on Oct 22 for the quoted amount of $763.29. The next morning on Oct 23 my check engine light came on again. I stopped by the dealership to have it scanned and it was the same code as before. They found the new camshaft cover had failed too. I booked my car in for the next day, Oct 24 to be repaired and have a more thorough inspection to see if there was more issues. I spoke with New Western Motors again and they offered me $200 towards the repair of the fan. I did not accept this because I was concerned about what other issues my car could have. On Oct 24 Davis chev replaced the camshaft cover. They also found the spark plugs and coil assembly were very corroded. They said it was so bad it could have caused a misfire with the engine, causing the failure of the camshaft cover. I had it repaired and the total was $433.40 I contacted New Western Motors about this and they claimed the spark plugs and coil assembly were not part of their inspection. They did offer me $250 in compensation for the fan, spark plugs and coil which I did not accept because I feel it is not adequate. None of this was covered by warranty. In total I have spent $1577.67 on repairs since purchasing this vehicle and was reimbursed for $280 of it which I accepted before knowing of the other problems with my car. I’ve only had the car two weeks. I was offered an additional $250. I did not believe that to be sufficient so I didn’t accept. The corrosion on the spark plugs and coil assembly would have been present at the time of purchase. This dealership doesn’t stand by what they sell and I could not recommend that anyone buy from them. If you do definitely get an inspection done from another mechanics shop because I would not trust them.

I bought a vehicle from them recently and had multiple bad experiences. When I test drove the vehicle, it was covered in snow (it was a snowy/slushy day), so I missed some big scratches on the vehicle exterior. I was generally happy with the test drive, so I decided to purchase the car. However when I came to pick up the vehicle with the cheque in hand, I noticed the scratches (multiple) and asked them why didn't disclose it to me. Their response was "You didn't ask about it." What annoyed me is that they knew about the scratches, but didn't properly disclose the information to me. They told me that it would only cost $250 or so to fix it, so at the time I let it go. I recently asked for a few quotes for repair and it's costing significantly more. I then recently went in to their shop to have some paint protection film installed. The installer however scratched up the paint in a couple of places during the install. I am certain of this because I had closely examined the car earlier due to the above mentioned scratch issue and those scratches weren't there. When I contacted them with this complaint, they only said that they'll look in to it and never got back. This is the shoddiest install job I've seen, almost seemed like the guy was not even interested in doing it properly. I rarely ever post negative reviews for businesses but I feel it is deserved here. I bought an expensive vehicle from them and they behaved terribly. It's too bad. My advice is don't buy a vehicle from them. However if you do, then go with an entire checklist of questions, so they can't throw a "You never asked" line back at you.

Poor customer service. I got the vehicle that I was interested in purchasing inspected by an independent mechanic and it was found to have some serious defects. New Western Motors staff were pushy, rude and were trying to undermine the credibility of the independent mechanic. Smoking cigarettes in front of the clients also doesn't help. I don't usually post many reviews but was compelled to do so this time.

This could have gone sideways. My wife and I purchased a GLK from David. The deal was contingent upon David upgrading the Nav package at Mercedes. The upgrade took two weeks longer than originally promised truthfully no fault of NWM. Mercedes finnaly admitted they do not now how to perform the factory upgrade despite leading us to believe otherwise. So David and I struck a new deal for the car. When we picked it up the engine light was on the tailight was burnt out and now the brakes were making funny noises. We returned the car only to have David fix everything free of charge even though it appears Lines Star Mercedes may have caused the damage. All in all he was fair to us and gave us a loaner car for their interim

Every employee I met was was focused on customer service and it felt like a real team effort. Ken worked very hard to get me the best deal possible and I really appreciated his honesty and knowing he went the extra mile. Ask for Michael-he is a very customer service orientated sales person; I never felt pressured, on the contrary, Michael was truly interested in me having the best suited vehicle for my needs. A couple of things - this place doesn’t have the cars it advertises, so make sure you call ahead and tell them that you’ve read that about them, and if they REALLY have the car or not. Second and most importantly, if you have a problem with them, don’t involve the BBB, complain to Service Alberta directly instead. BBB and AMVIC are useless. Both make money by charging fees from members and won’t be fair to you.

Recently I bought Honda Accord just about two weeks ago...I want to share my experience.. Initially I was scared because of battery issue and my car was not starting and I had to give jump start on my first day of purchased. I called David and Michael for that issue and they said just drive two days and take a look if battery issue still exist then they will replaced..Next two days still I had to give battery jump start and had to call AMA to check up and they said you've to replaced the battery..then again I called to David and he was ready to install new battery..and then problem solved.. Now I'm happy with this vehicle and there is no any other issue..David and Micheal are great guys, also installed new winter tire and made awesome deal..Definitely recommend for great deal and good vehicle..Thank you. guys..!!

I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. I bought a vehicle from them couple weeks ago and the car seemed fine when i checked them. But the next morning I found that there were few problems with the car. The problems were hard to notice just by doing couple test drive, checking the sound of the engine where its surroundings are loud (its located right beside a road) or reading the meters. They were problems that you wouldn't notice without thorough inspection. And before I purchased the vehicle I asked them if there was any problem that I should be aware or fix it myself after the purchase and the salesperson said no. They told me that they have 30 days warranty and one of the problems was related to that warranty but they didn't even bother to check it for me. I already spent few hundred dollars on my end and it's problems are not even half way fixed. Any proper and honest dealer would take some sort of action to satisfy their client but this dealership is not one of them. I know this because I buy used-cars most of the time when I purchase a vehicle. Who's happy with this company, the luck was with you. I'm happy for you. But who's planning to buy a vehicle from this dealership, good luck. Because you'll need one.
