Would never visit this dealership again, even if they had the perfect vehicle I wanted. Typical salesman lie tactics to pull deposits out from client's wallets and the vehicle I wanted to test drive over three years ago was dead with polish residue(which does not come off easily once sitting in the sun!). Consider that a free tip(at least one party has the decency to help!)

long review but necessary!!!! this is for my mom's car. it's an old subaru that was stolen and insurance decided to write off for a damaged steering column. even though the car is old it's actually got around 4 grand in the past year new engine all suspension etc. mom's in tears so insurance pays her out 1700 bucks. tow it to IMC. they repair the vehicle, installing a used steering column (with a warranty) for a few hundred dollars. furthermore they treated her just like she owned one of the fancy BMWs in their showroom, cleaned the vehicle and carried out a completely free no obligations no pressure inspection as the other shop that wrote it off wouldn't look at anything else. they only sold her a few light bulbs. the shop foreman himself Ian personally guided her through repair options, the parts manager Melissa searched Canada until she found a suitable part and Brandt at the the front desk explained everything in clear simple terms my mom could understand and co ordinated getting this dealt with as fast as possible. 4 days, other shop had it 4 weeks before she got the bad news. my husband is a mechanic but we live in bc. he spoke to all the staff as well and was completely impressed with how they handled everything. highly recommended.

If you take your car here for service, I have no doubt the mechanics will do a great job, as they did on my vehicle. However, the office staff are not great to deal with. They charged me full price for an out of province inspection even though they had a sale on Kijiji, which after correcting them they reduced the price but still kept the shop service fees, which the ad specifically said was included. And when it came for a re inspection, they charged the same price + shop fees to verify 5 items, which passed. While a fee can be expected, they refused to reduce it saying "they don't work for free and I took up a lot of the mechanics time" when I asked him questions; ie. customer service which was lacking from everyone else. Long story short, an OOP inspection ended up costing well over double than what was expected. I believe they mechanics do great work, but ensure you get all costs in writing before agreeing to any work, not in good will as I did.

I opted to purchase another vehicle only two hours after visiting International Motors Cars (from a more credible company).

I was looking into a GTR as they mentioned they are the largest GTR dealer in Canada. I found that all of their GTRs are very overpriced and I explained what I felt the value was of the car. This was the rude and unprofessional reply from Norman Baker: "We are number 1 GT-R dealer in Canada. I'm not too worried about it. If we don't sell it to you, we just sell it to the next guy who will actually pay market value!" Obviously they are trying to use their inventory as advantage to overprice their cars! Beware!

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR SERVICE I brought my vehicle to the service department and spoke to Brandt, I paid for a diagnosis and was told the vehicle issue was the spark plugs and that it would cost me $445.20 in total and this would fix my vehicle. I drove the vehicle for a COUPLE days and the exact same issue returned on Saturday, I brought the vehicle back on Tuesday and I was now told that it was a different issue and it would cost me now 1920.00 to now fix my vehicle. I paid 445.20 with the promise this would fix my vehicle issue and it never did. Immediately I submitted a service complaint to the owner and Brandt was the one who called me, He told me he could have charged me another diagnostic fee which is unacceptable as the vehicle was never properly diagnosed to begin with and was very unprofessional and blatantly rude. The owner of this establishment has not made any attempt to try to contact me. I have issued complaints to AMVIC and the Better Business Bureau as I don't want anyone else to have to waste money and time on an establishment that does not know how to diagnose and fix a vehicle properly. This Dealership should be ashamed of themselves taking advantage of people especially in this time of a Pandemic where we need a vehicle. I will be issuing more complaints pertaining to the unprofessional service I received.

Relating to the last review i was the one who purchased that car and since it was my second visit looking at the car i waited to let this couple who had the appointment look at it, they said while i walked around that she was going to sleep on it. So Dave took me into his office, before he finished the deal with me he made sure that the other couple was not purchasing the vehicle at the time. When he went to ask the lady she said she was going to sleep on it and they had not even started a deal. Dave was very respectful of the other couple and waited for them to leave before ACTUALLY making the deal. Sorry to the other lady who decided to sleep on the decision, i came to the dealership with my deposit to buy the car there and then and myself and the salesmen of international motors were respectful enough to wait to see if a deal was to be done. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, not even my worst enemy. My partner and I purchased TWO vehicles from this place and they both ended up having multiple mechanical issues that were coincidentally not covered. Upon purchasing our car, we agreed upon a list of things that would be done prior to us picking it up, with the OWNER of the dealership, nonetheless. Nothing was done. And when I say nothing, I mean the car wasn't even detailed. We spent months going back and forth with this place, just trying to make our vehicles safe to drive, which was unsuccessful. The business seems money hungry and lacks social and business skills. If I could rate this dealership 0/5, I would, but unfortunately Google makes you pick a star.

Very unprofessional. I try to trade in a vehicule and the saleman start acting up. When I ask to talk to some other saleman he told me to call someone else that he would not sale me any car. At this moment I knew this place was not professional at all. Then the argue continue and I did told him I would contact his boss. He was happy about it and give me his number. When I check on his site I did realize I was talking to the soon or brother of the owner so that why he was acting up. Very unprofessional will tell you that your car worth 20 000$ when other dealer says it's worth 40 000$

I live in Edmonton and was interested in a car they had for sale. Emailed them and simply asked if they had any room for movement on the price (Thinking maybe GST could get waived) to which I was told not at all and that the car had already sold for full asking price. I was interested in a few other cars they had for sale and inquired about fees other than GST to which I did not even receive a response. I was not going to leave a review at all but changed my mind after reading how nastily the business responded to other complaints which go as far as claiming one customer potentially gave the staff brain damage from dealing with them. I have never seen responses from a company which were so rude and hostile........

Looked around for Suzuki dealership in Lethbridge couldn't find one, I was told by a friend to call in and speak to the parts department at International Motor Cars.. They were incredibly knowledgeable, and helpful in locating the part I needed, also since I was in Lethbridge they arranged the shipping for me which was one less headache for me to worry about, they shipped it out for an extra fee and got it to me in less time then they quoted. Worst experience, DO NOT recommend this place. I bought an Aston Martin and have had the worst customer service since buying it. The owner is selfish, arrogant, and a liar. Provided me fraudulent paperwork stating the work that they claimed they had done on my car, when in fact none of the work was done, and then had the audacity to call us sneaky when we found about it and called him out for it. Stay away from this place! If i could give a negative 5 rating I would REPLYING TO MR RYAN/DAVID reply below (the owners) the 2 oil changes were NOT FREE, they were built into the deal when i purchased the vehicle, and even then they were still not done. You know, and I know, and everybody will know pretty soon.

I have taken my cars to International Motor Cars on several occasions and every time I go there, Rob is very friendly and treats me with respect and courtesy. He is very upfront about all repairs needed to the car, and has in fact save me a lot of money. I had been told by another dealership that I needed some work done. Rob's technicians found that in fact I didn't need to have all of those items done at all. And work that he has done for me has actually come in under his price quotes. I always feel like I am being given the actual facts when I take my car there for service. I would highly recommend Rob and the service team for any car repairs.

Brought my BMW here since I had issues with my other shop, and since it was a warranty issue Lubrico recommended them as they were closer to me to commute. Service was able to bring my vehicle in right away, there was some diagnostics that had to be done, and eventually some parts had to be ordered, but they arrived day of me bringing my vehicle in so they were able to get me back on the road same day, unlike my other shop there was a wait for service and parts were at least a week away which was inconvenient to me as this was my only vehicle. I want to thank service for the excellent service they provided me, I plan to be back in a month to get tires. Thank you!

A bit of a slow start with the owner David but I thinks that's due to the fact they sell some pretty nice cars and a lot of their lookers want to talk more than buy. Purchased a 2014 BMW i8 from them and between David and his son Norman I felt that I was very well taken care of and well informed as to operating car thanks to Norman. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and if you have any doubts about their cars have it inspected by your technicians before you buy .

Went yesterday specifically to look at 2 cars listed on line. Was told one was with the owners wife so it wasn't available to look at, but when we enquired as to when it would be available to see the sales person came across as obstructive with regards to this and made us feel as if we were imposing by asking to see a car that was for sale. We were told several times the wife is a doctor and it's important she has a car. We weren't asking to see it that day, just asking when it could be made available. Zero effort was made by the sales person to coordinate us seeing the car, she didn't even ask for our contact info to facilitate this. We asked about a test drive of the second vehicle, we were told they would only do test drive if they knew people were "serious" and it would only be done after a price was negotiated and agreed on. After being made to feel we were an inconvenience to the sales person, being told several times that they only deal with people who are "serious" and that the owners wife was a "doctor and important" we went to another dealership, test drove a newer model of the vehicle and are returning today to finalize the purchase of it. The best I can say it that the receptionist who greeted us was very friendly, but the experience went downhill from there.

Wouldn't recommend coming here, the worst type of arrogant condescending sales people that I honestly didn't even think was a thing anymore but I was quickly proven wrong. Was interested in a GTR but the salesman made it seem like he had better things to do than deal with me and as though I was bothering him and his attitude was terrible. Ended up buying a 2014 GTR elsewhere and couldn't be happier! Thanks anyways.
