Looked under hood and saw timing belt, asked if any service history. Was told it had timing chain. Just bounced as clearly this was waste of time.

Owner and I came to an agreement to sell my used car to them. We filled out both their corporate form, and the ICBC form. I was told to call them before heading up there for the final delivery/sale, so they would have my cheque ready. Owner reneged on the agreed-upon deal, offered me 50% of what we agreed on, or he didn't want the car at all. Now he has my ID, signature on two forms, and refuses to talk. I've wasted multiple days of time on this now, used time off work to do this. Save your time, save your breath. Owner is dishonest and misleading, and should take a serious look at how he conducts business.

I ended up buying a Mitsubishi Outlander sport from him last April and it's been an amazing car. It's gotten me to some amazing places around the rocky mountains and has yet to give me any issues, and I took it to some very rough roads! Bad news...ok, let me tell you why. You put out a pic of a car. I came and offered you a deal to buy the car but found that your claim of millage was not making sense, you showed me a car proof report that had no millage indicated and seats that were severely aged. I asked you to verify the mileage and fix the seats, you said you fixed the seats but never got back to me on the milage, no communication. One would naturally assume that either it was a lie or you don't care. How is it that you are able to claim low mileage on a vehicle and not have proof on any documents? Happy now? horrible and terrible service, nothing here is true, bought my car last week not even over 10 days and car is sitting at mechanics for major oil leak on engine, they gave me an estimate for 2200$ for all the repairs,So what exactly happened- i went in yesterday for an oil change and when we opened the bottom engine guard we found out the engine had a major oil leak, i was surprised that i could not find any oil in my driveway where i park my car overnight, later on we found out that i was tricked, they placed the sponge under the bottom engine guard, it was soaking up all the leak that was coming down, applause for you guys, worst service i ever had over the place, i've been saving over the months to buy car and finally ended up scamed by these people, STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY !!!!!! Reply to your comment- I bought Mercedes E320 Bluetec 2008 diesel model with 10600 Kms, you still have that for sale on your website. Do you want me to post the pictures of car and breakdown and i can also send you the repair bills from my mechanic, let me know. I have tried to contact dealership, the guy at the front desk(Shawn) has never contacted me back after i explained my issues, tell me the way to contact the owners.

I was searching a pre owned car, but of course you wanted deal that worth your money, came across autolinx motors ads and decided to drove to their shop. At the door there is a notice by appointment only due to covid. Turn around and decided to call them. To my surprise one guy came out with a smile, know later by the name AL “how may i help you” in form him of my purpose and let us brows cars and check the cars i saw on the ads, he was nice in dealing with us telling us the details of the car etc. he answer all our queries, and gives us a very good deal of the B 200 turbo 2011. Al was great help to my purchase of pre owned car. oh by the way it comes with 3 months warranty free, and a free cargo cover. Great shop and customer service i can say honest no hidden agenda they can help you a great car on your budget. Definitely i will be a returning customer, In fact I recommended my friend who is looking a pre owned car. Great job Al thank you.

Shady is the name of the game. place used to be called Platinum Auto Corporation. my review is about an experience 2 years ago. I drove out all the way from Kelowna after providing a deposit on a car, made special arrangements to meet on the weekend at a specific time. we paid for a hotel room and spent the night, in the morning when we tried to confirm the prearranged time they held us off by two hours, kind of frustrating as the time arranged was set by the seller. when the seller finally showed up he took us in the showroom and expected us to purchase the vehicle only by viewing it and not with a test drive. I finally convinced him to let us drive the yellow Mitsubishi sportback we were looking at. he only let us go around the block. when we got back i reconfirmed information that i had asked them about in email (any body work, accidents, engine work ect..) and he was very evasive. my fiance noticed some paint spackling on the windshield and mismatched paint on the front/rear bumper, along with horrible bondo work so we inspected closer. the sales agent got pissed off and started insulting me. he then drove the car out of our sight and told us we wasted his time, then he tried to get into a fight with me. let me remind you we drove over 4 hours from our home, spent the night and were delayed 2 hours on a preset time by the same sales agent. in addition to this he tried telling me i was obligated to pay the $500 deposit solely because i wasted his time, previously he told me if the car wasn't for me the deposit would be fully refunded. I also had $5000 cash in hand to pay for the car if it was in good repair, guess it was your loss Al, Allen and anyone else who lost out. I write this 2 years later because I just noticed the company name change (same owners al and allen) and I want to let people know exactly how shady these clowns are. There is a very bad taste in my mouth with these guys. stay away, stay far far away.

I cannot stress enough how much you should avoid this dealership. I was lied to about the condition of the car. Lied to about the number of accidents the car had been in. The salesman constantly tried to downplay any visible issue with the car. When I drove the car out with what I was assured was only a burnt out bulb, it turned out that not only was the battery defective and needed replacing, but also the entire front light fixture needed replacing too. It is abundantly clear that they either 1) Knew about these issues and tried to hide them or 2) Didn't even bother to do a routine check of the car before selling it. To make things worse, I have been sending frequent emails over the past month to at least open dialogue and get an explanation for this debacle. I have received one response, which said it was forwarded to 'management'. When I called to follow up A MONTH later, after receiving no word at all from management, I was told that the salesman could do nothing as he received no response. They have thus far been the single most unprofessional, deceitful and downright crooked business, let alone dealership, that I have had the displeasure of doing business with. I'm currently in dialogue with a lawyer and reporting them to the better business bureau. Their strategy of "lets just say nothing and hope this goes away" is so incredibly unethical and unprofessional that it has strengthened my resolve to do something about this, when a simple email or call explaining the situation would have solved the problem. Absolutely ridiculous. Don't make the same mistake that I did.

All I'm going to say is take the car to a mechanic you trust or do a pre purchased inspection at a reputable shop. I didn't do any and that cost me $3000 in the first 2 weeks or ownership. My loss is your gain. *Response to Autolinxmotors comment Yes , I am sure I purchase a 2007 subaru impreza 2.5i, VIN JF1GD61697H510390, stock# 510390. On November 12 ( Thursday around 1130 am) from Autolinxmotors ( look at the licenseplace in the picture). I do not have the car anymore, the sales person told me he used the car as his daily commute for the days prior I purchased it, reason why I trust him and did no indeeped inspection. the head gasket was bad , couldn't ever make it to you even if I wanted it( the money I would spend in tow truck, rental and time I had to deal with it) would be way more than $3000 . I just hope people were honest, the $3000 won't make must difference in my case but might be a different case with someone else.

I was looking for an inexpensive replacement for my girlfriends matrix and ended up getting a high km low price Pontiac Vibe - the salesman Shawn was very patient and not pushy at all - nice guy who didn't try and over sell or cover up issues - he also let me drive the car around as much as I wanted. It ended up needing new brakes but given the low selling price I was ok with that as we now have a decent car with new brakes etc. He also stayed late to finalize the sale and have ICBC rep come sort out insurance so two thumbs up for Shawn at Autolinx!

Beware; don't waste your time here. We were on a tight deadline so when we saw the ad that said "Drive it home today" we were happy. Little did we know the incompetence of the owner...5 days later we still didn't have the truck. The owner is a liar and definitely does not have your best interest in mind. I bought a Honda Pilot a couple of years ago from the guys at Autolinx. Needed a big and reliable SUV fit for the Calgary winter - and that’s exactly what I got. Had it two years, it did Vancouver to Calgary and back more times than I can remember, trips to the mountains during the winters, road trips in the US in the summer, went all over the Island in it and it never skipped a beat. I went in and told them what I needed and no messing about, they sorted me out with something fit for purpose and at a reasonable price - exactly what you want from a dealership I think. Only reviewing now as looking at buying a new car soon and it reminded me of this experience, good service is worth speaking up for. Al is who I dealt with, top guy. Thanks again.

I'm always cautious about buying a used car. The fine people at Autolinxmotors put me at ease. They were patient, honest and professional. They provided me with all the information I needed to make a good decision on my purchase. They were also patient with me when I asked the same question several times. I'm not a car expert and they did not make me feel less than for that. They just ensured I understood what was done to the car and I what I could expect in way of maintenance, etc.for a car of that make and year. I told the gentleman there I was coming in the next day to check out a car. I asked to test drive it to take it to my mechanic .He said I could not drive it cause it was raining. The car was dirty I dont get why a little rain job would shine or rite up. He said the car had no accidents. It definetly did have accident on the carfax. So what it was comprehensive or what ever. But looking at the car you could see it had front end damage and the lines for the bumper wouldn't line up. The gentleman was very short with me. I went there to buy the car I requested. As soon as I said I want to drive it to my mechanic. He says no you cant drive it in the rain. Good luck to you sir

The most ignorant person i have ever met. My husband and I went into look at a car. AL was who we met, we asked to take a car for a test drive , and his response was, we make a deal first then test drive it. How do you make an offer on a car you cant test drive? Then to add insult to injury he said well I have to make sure you can afford it first. Well because of his ignorance we went else where and purchased 2 vehicles. DO NOT go here I have never been treated so rudely in all my life. So thanks for leading us to a different dealership where we paid cash for 2 vehicles. I wouldn't even give them 1 star but wont let me post without one.
