It seems to some that selling a car is more about trying to hide faults or simply denying they exist in an effort to maximize profits instead of having integrity. This of course will end up with an endless stream of negative Google reviews, so here's one more. However, being honest about the issues a car might have - large or small - would certainly help a car dealer. Less disappointed customers, fewer unrealistic expectations, happier sales people. The offshoot of that honesty could be momentous. The seller knowing that they sold a product with honour, the buyer being relieved to not be strung along and getting a nice car out of it. Sellers would receive return customers and perhaps even make a few friends. Instead, it seems to be more important to squeeze those few extra bucks and sweeping the issues under the rug. But at what cost? Those disappointed customers, combative sales people - and those sales people having to spend time and money countering or trying to disprove negative reviews. Those extra bucks will probably end up going on drowning the seller's sorrows, getting a massage, or whatever else is needed to overcome these negative emotions. Perhaps, the seller should wonder why they're so stressed out in the first place. Knowing this, I decided to check out a 2004 Mercedes E Class wagon. It looked ideal for my wife and I. The ad stated verbatim that the car was "immaculate inside and out". The price seemed in the upper echelons of what I considered reasonable, but the seller did knock off a chunk before I committed to viewing it. Now, the word immaculate is defined as: "free from flaws or mistakes; perfect". This car certainly was not. I do realize that this Mercedes is almost 20 years old and so minor wear is acceptable, but immaculate? You must be kidding. Scratches and chips were everywhere, the roof rails a modern art piece of decisive scrapes. The wheels: curb rash on all, with a healthy dose of peeling paint. Was the interior better? Unfortunately not. Being spectacularly dirty was one thing, but the seats were all marked up, the leather cracking, the sunroof broken, the AC smelled of gasoline. I didn't bother to test drive it. I handed the keys back to Rene, the seller, mentioned the faults, and said that I wasn't interested. Wandering down Canada Way, mulling over what might have been, I decided to write back to Rene, explain how it was a decent car, but it just wasn't what I was expecting. I did and left an open offer in case it didn't sell. "Well ur vent was not on circulating it was set on jncoming. Forget it then. Not for your standard i guess." came the reply. "It's a beautiful car, just not quite as I was hoping", I replied, to which I was met with the seller no longer being reachable. I had sent the advert to my wife, who I messaged to ask what she thought. As it turned out, Rene had just taken the time to block me, so now the ad appeared to have been deleted from my account. I guess Rene didn't appreciate being told that the car had issues. I guess the lesson here is to avoid this dealer. I read many reviews before I visited, but thought I'd go with an open mind and hope for no bouts of skulduggery. I'll get over it. What lessons can the sellers take? Reading this as constructive would be a good place to start. I had good intentions. The car was nice, but the description was codswallop. Had I gone in knowing that there were a few issues that needed handling, I may have been more interested in reaching a deal. It's not a new car after all. If someone comes to look at a vehicle already knowing its faults then they're surely still interested in buying it. Coming in and being met with what I found meant I was no longer interested. I had a fun trip out though. Instead, I took the bus home, my BC license plates still in my bag, and Rene will now be finding yet another bad review he needs to counter on Google. So that's all. Fortunately, the bus journey home was a slow one, giving me time to provide others with some food for thought.
Saw a car that I had thinking about owning for a while. Thought the vehicle was overpriced (not a big deal at first, was willing to discuss). Told the sales guy the car I had and was potentially willing to trade. After that, he sounded excited but shoed me away from the car I was looking at and pushed me towards a cheaper base model of the car I was looking at. He then disappeared while I stood around waiting for 10-15 minutes to talk about their overpriced car before just leaving. Spend your time elsewhere.

Happy with the deal I scored with my Mazda in this crazy market nowadays. And I like Larry and Rene’s straightforward, no frills service. I read a lot of the reviews before I went there and after having been there, I can only guess the bad reviews come from people who are too used to very courteous salesmen from big dealerships or just don’t understand how to negotiate fairly with people. The reality is the used car market is very hard to navigate these days especially with a short supply of cars. Every manufacturer has a backlog and more and more people turn to used cars. Come to the lot and see their vehicles and you will realize they are good deals within this market. Also, things like in house staff such as service folks and finance folks that big dealers have all get paid for and the dealerships operational cost is added to the price of your vehicle. I was happy to circumvent a lot of that with these people and got my vehicle and a good finance plan. It might not be the fastest “one day approval” that other dealers provided but I did save a whole lot of money. These are just good people playing fair in a tough business. Come here to get the most of your pocket.

I wish I could give negative stars. As you guys can see most of the people are saying these people are very dishonest and always lying to their customers. Super rude and no sense of talking to their customers. I am just telling y’all you’ll be getting fooled if you’re doing business with them. And also they are lying in the reviews. I don’t know how they are still surviving.
Very unprofessional service, salespersons did not respond to our interest and assumed we were not interested. They were very rude from the beginning and were talking trash about previous customers. Asked a simple question about the car's frame, and the dealer said "how am I supposed to know?" and walked away. Asked for inspection, he said they don't do one (unlike what was listed on their ads and website...) I can see many other one star reviews, improve your service and you can get more business.

Had full intentions on buying one of the vehicles this dealership had listed online. Arrived and after expressing interest in the vehicle were told we were not allowed to take the vehicle to a mechanic to have it looked at because of "bad experiences" they've had. (They would not disclose what bad experience) Instead, we were told we could hire a mechanic to come to an inspection at the dealership. We were interested in the vehicle so we did call a couple of mechanics to essentially stated they could not do that in good faith, as a dealership that does not allow their customers to have their vehicles inspected should be avoided. What AA quality import doesn't seem to understand is that honesty, openness and full discretion with their customers will create more business and sales for them instead of deceitfullness. Customers want to feel like they can trust their car salesman, and that is all. The dealer and the customer can both walk away happy, but there needs to be honesty. Go take a look at the reviews of Country Auto sales in Kamloops. We ended up driving all the way up there from Vancouver, and purchased our truck within a few hours. A good dealership with honest sales staff is worth the drive. I'd encourage AA quality to adjust their approach to business in order to become more profitable and successful.

I was looking for Rav4, which looks beautiful on their website, but has finally no sunroof, no keyless entry as advertise and which smell like a wet dog. They Offered me 4000$ for my clean and mint 2009 audi A3 140000km (see the picture). The actual value is between 8 and 10000. I told them 10 000 of course knowing they'll try to reduce it, but it was beyond my expectations. . But I guess they are going to say this is a fake review. Went to see two SUVs they had for sale. From the beginning the kilometers on one of the two cars seem to be off on the Car Fax. Something did not feel right. I took the car out for a test drive anyways to make sure it was driving ok. After that, the guy (I think was the owner, he did not introduce himself) came to me asking if I was ready to buy the car (pretty much the only question I was asked). The car had the frame rusted very badly, did not have the step tire (for this specific vehicle it is very uncommon not to have one) and some electronics were not working. I asked how flexible he was on the price as the vehicle was clearly overpriced for its condition. He then turned to me and asked how much I'd be willing to pay for it. After I answered the question he got very upset and started yelling at me. I was shocked by his reaction. How are you going to sell anything by yelling at your customer, not asking questions and not even acknowledging the customer's comments on the product? It seemed that he was doing a favor to me letting me test drive it and now I had to give some back. Don't waste your time and energy going there.

I recently purchased a high mileage 2014 VW Beetle TDI from Rene. We came to a price based on some future work I felt it would need and I drove away satisfied. Two days later the engine light came on and my heart sank. My mechanic checked it out and found a potential major problem and a second less serious problem. I contacted Rene and he and the boss right away assured me not to worry and they would "take care of it." ...That is exactly what they did! They covered the larger repair completely and offered a very fair cost sharing on the other minor repair. They are there to make a profit. I would expect nothing less. I can assure you from my first hand experience that they care about their customers and their reputation. Buying a used car always has potential risk and you have to do your homework. It is my strong opinion that I got a better car, at a better price and received better service from this sales team than from any other dealer in my long car buying history. I hope to be driving this car for a long time but I would not hesitate to buy from them in the future or to recommend them to anyone. Thanks!

Went to look at a vehicle, found a big repair was needed and it was not documented with the ad for the vehicle. Dealer claimed they didn't know about it but there were signs that they had known about it. Salesman then made an unprofessional comment that made us feel they weren't trustworthy to deal with and we left right away. Never ever buy or go to this dealership..
This place is horrible! Do not buy or even think of buying from them! Drove from abbotsford to burnaby AA motors and the owner wouldnt let us take vechile to infinti dealer to get pre inspection done before purchase. He said buy as is! My experience with this dealership is horrible. I live on Vancouver island and had been in contact with one of their salesman. I wanted to know clearly what their bottom line was on a vehicle I was interested in. He gave me a number and I quickly arranged an appointment to come see the car; travelling quite a distance. Once I arrived, i I found there was an oil leak under the car. I asked if they would repair or go down in price due to this. The answer was no, as the agreed sell price was already low. Fair enough. I told them I would think about it and get back to them. We walked down the street, gave it some thought and returned-agreeing to buy it for the price previously stated. At which point the owner (rude and condescending to his employees) waved the salesman into his office. 5 minutes later we were notified that the price had gone up 1000 dollars because we had left the dealership to think about it. AA quality imports is only worried about the dollars coming in. According to their website "a happy customer is number one priority"....this couldn't be farther from the truth as they could care less about the time and expense it took for us to come see this car. Integrity and trust is nowhere to be found with these guys. Dont waste your time!!
Terrible customer service from general manager I called them to get some assistance with documents on a car I purchased from them General manager informed me that he will not help me and I'm on my own. Then I ask to talk to the owner, his respond was ( owner does not talk to customers ) and he hung up on me. All he would have to do is spend maybe 5 minutes of his precious time to open filing cabinet and send me by fax or email copy of the bill of sale Very unpleasant experience
Wow. What a terrible place. The salesmen trot out the usual used car sales tropes. The cars are very dirty, inside and out. Wow. The sarcasm is helpful. Sounds like Larry. I wasn't expecting a red carpet or perfect weather. If you're asking close to 20k for a car it should be properly detailed. The salesman saying "Oh well this just arrived and our detailer is on vacation" doesn't compute with the ads been on craigslist for 2 weeks. The fact that it is very dirty does.

I was looking for my first car about 3 years back, i found one that i liked and went to take a look. At first they seemed very nice and then went down hill from there. I had called a mobile mechanic to come take a look at the car, and they were very upset to see that i had done this which was very unprofessional. the sales man almost didn't want him to come drive in the car with us for a test drive. Everything seemed to check out in the car via the mechanic - there was also a sticker on the front window implying that the car had just been serviced... after i had bought the car, i had realized it must have just been put on there as the midas store was right beside the AA quality import store - my check engine light came on to stop the car immediately - took it in for a service and they told me the oil filter was at least 2 years old. I could've seized my engine right off the bat! After i drove it an tested it, we went inside to talk details. coincidently at the exact same time there was 2 other "customers" were looking at the same car and the sales man said we had to take his offer or else he would sell it to the other customers. i believe that these people were staged there to push us to make a deal; call me crazy but you would have to be there to understand. When I negotiated with the man, the owner came out and started yelling at the salesman who was dealing with me stating, "forget them! just sell it to the other people.." i could not believe how unprofessional an employee yet an owner of a business could be in front of a customer. I would never recommend this place to anyone at all. There very unprofessional, and i believe that they bought those service stickers to place on there cars that they re selling just to make it look a little better... if you do go to this place, get a mechanic to come check it out and don't take there word for anything.

What kind of business deals with criticisms with "this is a fake review"? Clownery. I have not had issues buying with dealerships before even though they get a bad rep, however, this dealership deserves all the negative reviews they have gotten. If you look at Yelp, google, anywhere that posts reviews, they clearly have. one of the worst services in the lower mainland. BE WARY. A business should be proud of what they're selling. Inspections don't seem to be authentic as well. Before you make a purchase here, get a second opinion on the vehicle you will buy. Or you will regret it. OVERALL, this is a bad business. They should be ashamed of the services they're providing. Period.

The car you had for sale had 225,000kms, not 80,000kms. I do not even have a car to trade in, so not sure how you came up with this lie #2. 3. I am not your competitor, I was your customer. From how you treat your customers there is no way you sell 800 cars a year, more like 8.... maybe... Lie #3 4. Your salesman was doing nothing but sitting around when we showed up. He knew nothing about the car we came to see. I had cash in hand to buy the car. Lie #4 5. It is not 1 in 10 that is a sad customer, it is over half and growing. You don't mind because you don't care. Lie #5 If you are considering even thinking about coming here to look at a car to buy, and you thought like I did that all the negative reviews are maybe not accurate, DONT DO IT!!!!! Very unprofessional. I expressed interest in a car. Was told it was better to come the next day to view it, so I scheduled an appointment. When I arrived, I was told that the car had just been sold. I asked why no one had called me before driving over an hour to get to their dealership, and why he would not have called me first as I had already expressed interest in the car. He just laughed and said "sorry" while smiling. Was postponing my viewing appointment by a day to have two interested buyers on site at the same time for the same car? I sure hope not. You wasted my time, my gas. Maybe a basic etiquette class is needed on customer relations for your staff. I would have expected them to keep my appointment and schedule a test drive with another buyer following my scheduled time. At the very least, a phone call to reschedule me to tomorrow and a follow up to let me know the car had been sold. I invite the manager to reach out to me to discuss if they find this lack of professionalism is okay with them. Rene will have my contact info regarding E550. Worst customer service I have experience in a very long time.

Went to this dealership to buy a 2014 Mazda CX-5 manual. I was told the car wasn’t on their lot, so I drove to their storage. I had brought in cash as it said on the posting they were looking for a quick sale. I tried negotiating with them to find a price we could work on. I had cash in hand and offered them 7 grand. The car had 185,000km and some damage on the back but he wouldn’t negotiate even a little bit with me. The car was listed around 8 grand. What a disappointment. I’m still interested in the car but I don’t think they are willing to negotiate..

I had a very terrible experience with this dealership. Rene is a very rude , has no manners , very disrespectful, dishonest and a cheater. He does not answer the questions asked about the car he is selling and he tries to hide the right answer. He is a big liar and cheater. I strongly recommend that you avoid buying anything from this dealer.
Very good experience. Just need a car to drive around but couldn't afford much. Sales is very nice and recommend a decent car to us. Treated us genuinely and respectfully even though we just wanna buy 2k-3k car. Car works fine so far and my family loves it. Totally beyond our expectation.
Just bought a RAV4 from this dealership. Excellent service and the owner was so friendly and nice. We couldn't really figure out what we want in the beginning, and the owner walked us through the pros and cons of each model and helped us find a car that best fit our need. Really appreciated and will definitely recommend him to my family and friends.

PEOPLE READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY. I was a potential customer and decided to check out AA Quality Import Ltd reviews because I was interested in a vehicle they have for sale.I would expect any potential customer who is spending thousands of dollars to make sure they are a reputable company. I am shocked by their response to comments and concerns posted here. They call their customers liers, claim they waste the dealerships time & rude they actually complain that customers try to negotiate prices. I'm shocked that a service industry business behaves this way. I've never seen anything like this before. Needless to say I'll buy my next vehicle from a dealership that actually values my business and treats me with respect.There are consequences to this dealerships behaviour.
We had a very good experience with AA Quality Imports. We bought a Kia Sorento for a good price, and after 2 weeks when there were some unforeseen problems, Fredo and team from AA Quality organized for the free repair and offered a courtesy car in the meantime. Fake reviews of 4-5 from owner and staffs. This place sells cars that have been bought from others, then they don't fix previous issues. They just try to resell and make it all look "nice and clean". Good luck, buying here. Just a quick money grab from people looking for decent cars.

Went to look at a car after the salesperson on the phone said "come down and drive the car". My car had been written off, and I was looking to drive at 4-5 cars on a Saturday and then planning to make my decision. I didn't have a lot of time, as I wasn't expecting to be car shopping and my rental with ICBC would be expiring soon. I'd looked quickly at 100s online, researched about 30 of them and shortlisted 5. My route that day had a car at AA 2nd because of where they were in the region relative to my home. I asked to drive the car, which was the point of me coming to see it. They said "go see the other ones first and then come back" and essentially refused to let me drive it unless the car was my top choice. I'm not sure how I can rank a car as my top choice if I can only sit in it and not drive it. Essentially, they were saying that their time was far more valuable than my time. I should spend an extra 1.5hr round trip to come another time instead of them spending 20 minutes when I was already on their lot. The direct quote from the sales guy as he got louder and more argumentative was "I just want my job to be simple". I suggest to anyone reading this that you make their job as simple as it can be: don't visit these guys. I look forward to seeing what they write to try to discredit my honest review. EDIT: While I thank the dealer for his respectful reply, that respect was not shown to me on the day I was at the dealership. I had specifically been told I should come and look at the car and take it for a drive on the phone. The salesperson became rude and argumentative when I asked to take it for a test drive. As someone who has considerable sales experience, it was unprofessional. I encourage the dealer to work towards improvement in customer service standards; it is not one or two reviews, but many that cite similar experiences.
I was recommended to go to AA Quality imports by a friend who had an incredibly easy experience there and bought a beautiful car. After going there I was shocked to see how many poor reviews because my experience was seamless. Between me and my husband we had a lot of questions, but they were met with patience and easy to understand information ( mostly for me haha ) it was pretty straight forward and the hardest part was just deciding if now was the best time to buy since we were also in the process of moving. I didn’t feel pressured or feel silly for needing an extra couple days to decide. We love our new SUV and wanted to say thank you to Larry for all his patience and hard work in finding the perfect fit for our family!
