As a new comer to Canada, the process of purchasing a car has been a daunting experience. Having come from a country where owning a car is easy, to all the rules and laws in Canada, I thought I would be walking for the next few months at least. The team at JP motors made this process a whole lot simpler for me, explaining every part of the process and what needed to be done. I purchased a vehicle that I thought was in great condition, and although i found issues with it after taking delivery of it, I alerted the dealership through Connie, and I must say that the matter was handled and resolved most professionally. A difficult situation handled with the utmost respect for the customer. From first contact with Joanne on the phone, to dealing with Dave Dubik, and then finally with Connie Taylor, I would highly recommend this team for the customer service skills and attention to care and detail. Keep up the good work.

I found Elena to be an excellent salesperson who was never pushy to make a sale and explained the pros or cons on the diff vehicles looked at. I found she went above and beyond to address things I had asked for to make sure I was happy as a customer and Zainab was excellent to deal with for financing and I think she also went above and beyond to get me a deal I was happy with. They also treated me fair with my trade in. I also have been very happy with Rob and their service Dept after the sale for treating the customer very fair and getting things done quickly. When my a/c was not pumping cold air they recharged it at no cost and while there I asked them to check a “rattle” in the front end which they quickly diagnosed, got the parts and repaired and on my way in less than 2 hours. Have bought a few vehicles from them now and has always been a good experience.

Made an appointment with them to see a car, then drove 2.5 hours for the appointment and they sold the car within that time. I can understand and respect that, however, the sales guy said he sent an email 1 hour ago. Obviously I don't check my emails while I'm driving..Good policy would give us notice sooner. So while I'm down there, I went to another place and bought a nicer, newer, cheeper car at HMA Auto Sales. Thanks JP for your terrible service, we dodged a huge bullet.

Certainly didn't go out of their way to do anything special. About average. Looking at some of the 5 star reviews , I guess some people are either inexperienced or easily impressed. I once bought a car off a used car place, and they took a MAF sensor off another same model car on their lot and put it on mine at my request. Now that is service.

If I could give zero stars I would. As part of delivery of my vehicle they were to service the breaks. They installed brake pads upside down. When contacted I was offered a discount on fixing the problem. Discount? Discount? YOU DID THE JOB WRONG. From the first step in the dealership I had a bad feeling. The finance guy was a royal pain to deal with. Pushing warranty extremely hard and being totally dismissive when I wasn't interested. Tried to tell me if I didn't buy the warranty the interest rate on the financing would be increased. When I decided to back out of the deal he gave me the original agreed upon interest rate.... I should've left that moment. Thank Christ I didn't buy a warranty. If they can't install brake pads properly I have zero confidence on what they can do. Stay away... Bad business practices, high pressure, incompetent service dept, shady shady shady.

I see some of these reviews and I don't know if the negative ones are from competing dealerships trying to steer people away from their toughest competitor, which is JP Motors in my humble opinion. I'll try to keep this short and helpful. I've bought a few vehicles from JP Motors over the years and I couldn't be happier. When I started they were the only ones who could get me approved. Since then, my credit has been rebuilt and I have no issues there, but I won't forget how they helped me get the ball rolling on rebuilding my credit when no one else could. I have directed family to their lot as well. Best dealership I have dealt with. Is every car they sell perfect? No. But their customer service and willingness to stand behind their product is second to none, and I can respect that. It's what has kept me coming back. I've had 1 issue, which was mechanical in a car I purchased from them and it was promptly dealt with without any hassle whatsoever. Anyone who claims otherwise is simply not being truthful or hasn't been a customer. I can buy here with peace of mind knowing that as soon as I drive off the lot, I'm not on my own. I'm sure there are other dealerships who stand behind their product. But I can only speak from my history, and it is extensive. Just purchased a 2013 Ford Flex Limited Edition that I will be picking up this week and everyone was courteous and helpful as ever. Hopefully this review is helpful to some of you looking to buy a vehicle. I think there is something to be said of a family business who put ethics and customer satisfaction before their wallets. They have a customer for life in me.

Not sure why they promise referral bonuses if they don't want to pay them. It just creates bad will with customers. It's the principle. I've made 3 trips already to pickup the cheque that never seems to be there when promised. (live out of town so it's frustrating).

These guys are crooks ! Stay away at all costs . I had put a deposit down to hold a car did not sign a single thing. I found a better car else where and they tried to steal my $200 when I went back for it . I had to get OMVIC involved just to get my money back . Reply: it was your "management" team I was dealing with . Your owner was trying to hold my money hostage till I showed them papers I had bought a car somewhere else. Never been treated so horribly as I had at your dealership . I advise everyone to stay away .

Our finance agent Zaina has helped us tremendously in making our decision a simple and affordable one. She was upfront, honest, ensured there were no hidden numbers or fees, that we had the best outcome on our interest rate and overall bi-weekly payments! She is very savvy by having a background in finance and it shows in her overall work ethic. Poor Quality Vehicles will not stand behind their cars - : As I am aware of buying second hand cars I test drove the car and made sure anything not satisfactory was fixed before purchase and took out an extended plan. BUT 1.5 months after purchasing a 2011 Volkswagen from J.P Motors Fairview street in Burlington I had multiple serious problems. The car had many faults, electrical and broken wiring which could not have happened in 1.5 months. In addition the extended plan (Coast to coast) I was encouraged to purchase - covered nothing (not the tow or electrical issues which it had listed as covered). I was informed by many mechanics that this company never pay out for any claim. After calling J.P, leaving messages with the sales rep who I purchased from and speaking directly to the manager he made it VERY clear that J.P. simply wash their hands of customers after the one month. After being without a vehicle for 2 weeks and $2000 in repairs, I can safely say I will never purchase another car from this dealer again. To date I have not received a call back from the sales rep or the coverage plan rep. All of this after I had the decency to come back and pay $2,500 that they undercharged me when I paid for my car. On their website is stated:their values: Integrity, Honesty, Fairness - J.P has not displayed any of these, selling poor vehicles and hope that they last their warranty month - make the money cut the tie. I can honestly say I will never buy another car from this dealer.

I visited JP Motors and Sasha was my dealer. She was very friendly and quickly let me test drive the vehicles I was interested in. They let me have my mechanic look at it after leaving a small deposit. There was a minor repair that was needed and Sasha told the mechanic it was no issue and it would be fixed during the safety that they include with every vehicle. They even gave it an oil change. When it came to payments I was introduced to Zaina who helped me choose a finance plan at a rate below what my bank was offering me. We even started talking about mortgages, meditation, and philosophy. I signed the papers and Tuesday and picked the car up today (Friday). This review is a little late.We bought our vehicle in August 2020.The car was what we wanted.We live over an hour away and don't normally shop so far away. A few issues popped up a week later,Check Engine and dead battery.Called them was transfered to the Service Manager. Long story short Issues were addressed and fixed at No additional cost to us.We had the basic 36 day warranty. We were treated with respect and other than our time to travel my wife and I give them 5 stars.

Bought a Subaru back in December, was a little bit on the cheaper side. During the inspection they replaced the fuel pump and I was told there was nothing else wrong, after my 30 days the fuel pump went because the mechanics installed it poorly, there was large amounts of rust and I am beginning to find burnt pot under the seats and inside the vehicle. They obviously do not care about there customers and I would never recommend JP motors to anyone and will be going elsewhere when I go to purchase a new vehicle. Buyer beware.

Buying a used car can be a nerve wrecking experience. I went to J.P. after having a horrible experience with a dealer in the North York area. Those guys were as shady as they come. I was recommended by a friends father to try JP Motors when looking for a vehicle. Right from the first email to the company to meeting Peter and testing cars the process was quick and easy. They were attentive to my needs and set me up quickly. There was no pressure to buy. The whole transaction with Peter was very simple and easy. Upon receiving the vehicle I was excited as it all happened fast and everything was going. The only things I asked for was a good cleaning and detail. This did not occur the car was still dirty except the floor mats which they clearly vacuumed and assumed that was okay for cleaning. All in all, I'm happy with the car. Peter was lovely. My only complaint is that the car wasn't cleaned. I was assured a detailed car when I picked it up, and disappointingly, it was not.

I bought a 2013 ML350 about a month back. Waited this long before I wrote a review to make sure the vehicle didn’t have any after-sale issues. The reasons will be evident as you read along. The good: - Keith Johnson and Jeff Hansford (employees) are easier to deal with. - The car has been running smooth, thus far – with slight cosmetic issues (my bad! – should have inspected it with a finer tooth comb before purchasing). But the rest of the vehicle was as good as I had imagined. The puzzling: - The dealership talks about a ‘no haggle price’ when time came to negotiation. Neither JP nor I budged from our initial offers. However, 2 weeks later JP themselves lowered the price to a point that was lower than my offer – Good for me, I guess! In hindsight, can’t complain but still nerve wracking when you see a good vehicle (that is slightly over your budget) and walking away from it over a tiny price difference, with a risk that someone else would purchase it. Anyways, all’s well that ended well. - Their one key policy is a hassle. None of the salesmen can tell you whether the vehicle comes with a second key. I understand that it’s their company policy but it’s an inconvenience to the customer when they want to budget the cost of a second key (especially if you have a touch start) which can cost you close to $500 for some vehicles. You only find out (about the second key) on the day of delivery. In my case, I did have a second key however it was broken and mended with some scotch tape. The bad: - When I put down a deposit for the vehicle, I made sure that JP was aware of a few things to be corrected/repaired before delivery. I made sure to write these points in the contract. A week passes and I'm called in for delivery and we notice, right away that the work has not been done properly. We bring it to Henry Sterczewski’s (the salesman we were dealing with) attention and the response was “that’s the best we can do”. - After much back and forth, where we were told that it’s a used vehicle implying that such things were to be expected and for the price we were paying for the vehicle, the “minor work” should be ignored, all of which just left a bad taste with us. We were then offered our deposit back (thus nullifying the sale) – which was fine with us – given the not-so-perfect experience we were enduring (kept thinking – what else could be wrong with the car, that was blind to the eye). It sounded like Henry wanted to call our bluff. We jumped at it and asked for our deposit to be refunded – at which point Henry was removed from the process and Jeff (the manager) got involved. Jeff had the fixes done (professionally) in a day and saved the sale for JP (Jeff also agreed that the repairs were minor and should have been done right in the first place). - Also another minor point - on delivery, the gas tank was near empty which added to my already sour experience. The lesson here is – make sure the vehicle is inspected and any rectifications/repairs (no matter how minor) should be put down in writing (on the bill of purchase). Also don’t accept any of the repair work until it meets your standards, no matter how pushy the salesperson gets. Needless to say, the experience of a vehicle purchase was not the best, at JP Motors – there were a few bright spots but the cons outweighed the pros for me! The only reason I pursued it was for the vehicle (make, model, mileage and how well the previous owner had maintained it).

Like everyone, I'm wary of used car dealerships, but this place is different. I bought a Ford hatchback from JP years and years ago. It's got more than 230 000 km on it and is still doing it's thing. I have had no issue with this car besides regular maintenance. Decided recently to get something newer and revisited JP. Test drove a bunch of SUVs and hatchbacks from a pretty big selection and landed on a well-priced Mazda with low mileage. Brian helped me with the test drives and gave me honest and upfront advice. I must say, shopping for cars can be a pretty rotten experience, especially as a woman. A lot of condescension and assumptions about what I want and need. I think my favourite part of JP was a nice sales experience - being spoken to honestly and directly. The car was ready really quickly and delivery went smoothly. The new car has been back and forth to a cottage and on several long commutes and is driving really smoothly without any issues. Thanks JP!

Avoid this company at all costs. Bought a 2014 vehicle from them 2 months ago (drove it for roughly 4,000 km) where they provided a Safety Standards Certificate. Oil change light came on yesterday and Canadian Tire has found the following: 1) Turbo Problem code po299 2) 420 code coolant problem 3) Rad leaking coolant 4) 1 head gasket shot Canadian Tire's analysis is that the damages (roughly $4,000) existed before i even bought the car (not sure how they got the Safety Certificate, but the document forging mentioned by other people here is sounding more plausible). When i confronted them about this over the phone, they said "Sorry, over the 30 day warranty. Not our problem."

The car is great, but Dave McKay the Finance Manager was really nasty with my Mother when she questioned the "warranty" he was trying to sell us on the vehicle. He was clearly disrespectful to her, talking down to her like she didn't know what she was talking about while she was asking questions. I later spoke to him telling him I wasn't interested in the warranty, and his attitude hadn't changed. I needed a car before Christmas, and looking back at it... I would much rather punch Dave McKay in the face than to deal with him again.

J.P Motors is a used car dealership that I would recommend to others. My experience started with Zainab, part of financing at JP. She was very informative and her past experience showed through during the whole process. You can tell that she’s fully invested in YOUR best interests and she treats you and your purchase as such. David was the sales representative that accompanied me on the test drive, and although I don’t have much to say about my experience with him (not a negative thing) he didn’t pressure me throughout the sale, and he also addressed my concerns about the backup camera which is still being fixed thanks to him. Keith from deliveries was also helpful and informative. Vehicles can only be so reliable. I’ve had a few issues with my car, but this isn’t J.P’s fault. I was going for a very specific vehicle and knew exactly what the price range should be for that vehicle depending on it's condition. The price my vehicle was listed for was very fair. First, I want to say that my rating isn't attributed to any fault of the salesman I dealt with as Brett was very accomodating, personable and responsive. My main gripe with JP Motors is the so called "no haggle" policy. Don't kid yourselves folks, this is nothing more than a marketing spin to describe a strict "we don't negotiate prices with our customers" pricing policy. The no haggle policy is marketed as a good thing... "Come in to JP Motors and pay the price on the windshield - no surprises! We monitor the market daily and you're getting a great price!" they infer. But I just can't comprehend who would appreciate this autocratic, take-it-or-leave-it approach to selling used vehicles. I appreciate that customers are always trying to negotiate prices lower and understandably this can be taxing on the business from an efficiency standpoint. However, there should be some flexibility when serious buyers raise valid points regarding the price of a particular vehicle vs. the market and JP's direct competition. Blindly accepting the sticker price on a used vehicle because a policy says so will never be the way I conduct business. Remember: there are no shortages of reputable used car dealerships through Greater Hamilton and Burl-Oak areas, and even more in the GTA if you're willing to take a short drive. That's my two cents on the matter and I'll be going elsewhere to buy my next vehicle.

The tire that was there was worse than the tire I was trying to replace. Not even safe for road use. I was told all tires are basically brand her with a full size spare as replacement. Ridiculous

I will say that the purchase of my used 2007 Toyota pickup truck was exciting for me. I had a couple communication glitches during the one week wait for my truck to be safetied, but nothing major. This involved having to make a couple attempts to have a copy of my sales contact sent to me. Other than that things went as I expected. I will say that dealing with Dave Dubik was a real pleasure, and I always felt he explained things without candy coating them. He also wasn't a real pushy salesman, which I'm sure everyone can appreciated. This is honestly a pretty good place to buy a car. I searched and searched and narrowed my searches down and JP contained the ford fusion I wanted, I test drove it and wanted it right away. I had the man take notes on what I wanted serviced or checked in order for me to commit to buying that day. Long story short none of that was looked into, which makes me wonder. I also noticed some new damages upon pick up of the vehicle that I did not notice on my initial thorough visual inspection of the car before I drove it.. After a bunch of beating around the bush, the damages were avoided and are up to me, regardless of my 30 day FULL warranty. I finally managed to get my other initial concerns dealt with at my inconvenience. Everyone was polite and made you feel less of a customer while you're there. Financial advisors are a pleasure to talk to and the service department was also a pleasure to deal with. That is my experience.

This place is the MEANING of a shady run business. They will tell you anything you need to hear to get a vehicle off their lot and and you are on your own.. was told to visit a local brand dealership to be explained how to use everything inside the truck when I went to pick it up, they had no clue how anything worked. Also don't believe for a second they will honor their " 30 day trade in " policy. Even after having confirmation of this from my sales associate, I was told in the end from the manager " that was not out dealership you were looking at ". End of the day , go ANYWHERE else, buy off kijiji before seeing these guys.

This review is only for people who wants to sell their car to these guys. Here is my experience. I saw a cool features on Auto trader to "Sell your car" and thought of using it, was first time I was trying to sell my wife driven used car. auto trader gave me an estimate and then Brandon O'Brien from JP Motors called to fix an appointment to see the car, He was very welcoming and asked my preference on the date, I called in the next day to check if they have any appointment time where I can go and show the car. He said go to 2320 Fairview location at 1:30pm and meet David, and said David will look at the car examine it and give me an exact quote on price in 15 to 30mins. This was a working day for me but as Autotrader has a 3 days limit on the price quote, I went ahead and reached this location by 1:35pm. Here is the worst experience I ever had with a car dealer to date, First up David was clueless I was coming and second, he sitting at his desk asked few car details and dint even look at the car and said come in new year (This was on 23rd December) and we may see to buy at the price auto trader has quoted at!! If you guys had to just check few questions you could have done it over phone and not by calling me in to your showroom and sending me back without even checking the car! Please respect customers be it they are selling the car or buying from you. It makes me feel bad to write on a Christmas eve day but was not able to hold on my frustration with what happened.

I asked to take it to my mechanic in Burlington, he asked where exactly, its 2km away. He then said company policy is no). If that was true he would have said that first. I went back next day to take closer look...the 2004 VOLVO C70 convertible tire tread will probably pass, however sidewalls are cracked. I have no doubt they will pass the tires. Also, front turn signal housings are coming apart, top windshield trim is rusted. Price on day 1 was $7500. Day 2 its $8900. Hmmmm

The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was I was told I would get two keys for the car and they would accommodate me but after calling back I was told that they could get me quote to purchase my own extra key. Bought a 2009 dodge nitro r/t from them paid for the extra warranty and everything 3 months down the road motor let's go told the warranty does not cover full engine replacement have to pay the difference which is over $1,000 pick up the car a month later make it one block before the engine starts making all kinds of noises turn around drop it back off 2 Days Later it's done pick it up driving it home when I get home I open the hood to have a look main wiring harness is just lying there not put back to where it should be all the other wiring is just lying everywhere not attached just lying there call the service department told that's how it is nothing I can do a month later my wife is driving it she smells smoke so later that night I decided to take a look take it for a drive vehicle catches fire and burns to the ground needless to say JP Motors says nothing about it Insurance Company was notified of the poorly engine install and was told they would be taking them to court don't know if this happened or not stay away from JP Motors nobody cares there they get you in a car and get there money people's lives don't matter

I recently purchased an suv from JP motors, very nice and well kept lot & vehicles. Although, the staff didn't really wow me. Prior to buying the vehicle I asked if it came with all season tires in which I was told yes, upon looking at the ad again, I noticed it had winters on it so I called to double check and sure enough I was given the wrong info. They did switch them to brand new all seasons though so that was ok, but when I picked up the vehicle the rims were filthy almost like they rushed it. I inquired to have the JP motors badge removed, which was not done as I asked. I also requested info from them for insurance purposes, and was told that they would send it right away. I waited two days until I called again to follow up and was told they "forgot". I asked the sales guy for a monthly quote on a 4 year term which I was happy with, then once I went to sign the papers it turned out to be a 6 year term. No one called to confirm this.. Then when I asked about it they said it would not be achievable to pay it off in that time and don't know why I was told that information and that the salesmen don't know anything. Don't use the text line they don't respond, calling is the way to go to contact them for any information needed, don't rely on them to follow up.. once I made the purchase I barely heard anything back until I called 4x and got the info I needed the day before I needed to pick up the vehicle.. fairly stressful process.. but above all I am satisfied with the vehicle.

I went and looked at a car here last summer, and was looking to trade in my current vehicle. The sales rep tried to fast close me, but I needed some time to think. I got an appraisal on my current vehicle as well to get a net price. I decided against the purchase but said I would like to sell them my vehicle citing their advertised "We'll by your car even if you don't buy ours." The sales manager said he would call me back, and never did. Next week I called again and he said he didn't do the buying, someone at a different lot did and I should call him. I called the next guy and he said he had to appraise it. I asked why - since one of their sales managers had already appraised it. He then proceeded to offer $3000 less than what was initially offered for trade in value - which I had in writing. The General Manager would not return my inquiry. A total waste of time, shady business practice, and a lie that is still posted on their website. If you're going to promote such things, you should honour them.

I purchased a 2012 Infiniti G37X Luxury Sedan in June 2016. Prior to going to J.P. Motors, I compared a number of G37Xs at other dealerships, and the model offered by J.P. Motors had half of the kilometres compared to the competitors. Upon test driving the car, it exceeded all of my expectations. Having put 3,000km on since purchase, there hasn't been a single issue. I actually took it for an inspection just before the 1,500km warranty expired and was told it's was one of the tightest used cars that the local dealership had ever seen. I was also surprised to have the car come with a second key fob even though J.P. Motors were upfront about the fact that most cars only come with one. The only issue I have was that they were fairly aggressive with the extended warranties. But I just couldn't see the value in a $4,000 3-year unlimited kilometre warranty. It just seemed very steep for a Nissan in a fancy suit. Although, when I said that to the financier, she moved right along to the next subject. So, I would say that as long as you are a savvy shopper and have done your due diligence, you'll be happy with your purchase from J.P. Motors. Should they have another car in which I am interested, I would definitely buy from them again.

Peter was more taken to discussing the sale with my uncle as opposed to me who was the one actually buying the car and repeatedly brushed off mine and my family's concerns. Honestly Keith was the only person there who was friendly, considerate, well spoken, and bothered explaining stuff. I'd only go back to JP Motors for Keith and frankly think he's the only knowledgeable and tolerable person who works there.

In my case, I complained during the test drive of some road noice / vibrations. They put on brand new top end tires afterwards and the car handles great! Flexible hours / pick up hours. I had a very bad experience at JP Motors this morning. I had an appointed this morning for 10.30 AM with Dave Dubik to sell my car. The guy checks the car and got disappeared for 15 minutes. Then came back test drive came back hand over the key to us and without any communication started talking to another customer and disappeared for another 20 minutes. We were waiting in the parking lot. After 20 minutes he arrived and given us a reaction that "Why you are still here" . He said we don't want to buy your car and walked out of the parking lot. Very unprofessional and untrained staff.

The salesman was basically no where around and then gave a ridiculous lowball offer, I decided this wasn’t the place for me and left. The next day the salesman reached out regarding the trade, needless to say there was a lot of back and forth and we finally agreed on a deal. The last straw was when I had stopped a reno that I was doing so the sales-manager can test drive my car, only to receive a message while I’m on the way there that the salesman had the wrong price on their vehicle and the deal was cancelled. Emailed the manager regarding a deal I wanted to make to purchase the vehicle, never received a response. Super professional. Car shopping is always a stressful experience, but this time around it was much less painful . I had a limited budget to spend on a vehicle and J.P. motors was the most affordable for me. I went to the Plains Road lot where Mike Liang helped me around the lot. I had a bunch of vehicles that I saw online that I was considering, Mike was extremely patience and informative, allowing me plenty of time to look over physical features for the vehicles and informing me of there history and operational details. I took multiple test drives with multiple vehicle with Mike and was comfortable all the way. He wasn't pressuring me to go with that one or this one he would inform me of the vehicle information and let inspect any detail I asked to examine. The financing and service staff members were also helpful and pain free. David McKay was the Financial Service Manager that I dealt with and I found him straight forward and provided me with everything I need for my vehicle. Keith Johnston was the service member that assisted me when I came to pick up my vehicle. He was reliable and well organized. He made sure I was all-set and had all the proper paperwork I needed and informed me of all the services that were available to me when I needed them. I overall had a satisfying experience with J.P. Great overall experience. Our salesperson, Jim Downs, was a great guy and led us through the whole process. Kim the sales manager was also polite and kind, and Keith the customer service/delivery rep was likewise great. We had concerns about the car we picked being a former rental, so Jim drove it all the way to our town (30+KM away) so our mechanic could look at it and confirm it was in good condition. Now THAT is going the extra mile. When we went to pick up the car they had done a thorough clean inside and it looked brand new. I went to JP Motors with my uncle who has bought a few cars there in the past. We dealt with Peter Christakas who was fantastic. There was no pressure to buy. The whole transaction with Peter was very simple and easy. However, upon receiving the car, it did not seem like it was detailed (which I was told would occur). There was oil in the cup holders and in the door jambs. There was dust in the consoles. The guy who took me to my car had to also check to make sure there was gas (there was a 1/2 tank). I contacted Peter, who was sympathetic and forwarded me to the deliveries manager. But when they called, they said I could bring the car in and they could detail it for me and it would take 20 min. 20 min to get all that oil out??? That didn't seem like enough time to get the grease out, so I decided to take my car to a different service to get it detailed. All in all, I'm happy with the car. Peter was lovely. My only complaint is that the car wasn't cleaned. I was assured a detailed car when I picked it up, and disappointingly, it was not.

Called at 9:15 am and made an appointment for 6pm to view a vehicle. I explained I was coming from Kitchener ask to please let me know if the car sells so I don't waste my time driving. I left work an hour early and made it there by 5:30pm. When I tell them I had an appt with Jim the guy says, "Oh, no one called you". No call, no email. Last week I made my first vehicle purchase from JP Motors, to be honest I am very skeptical and I was a bit hesitant at first and then I reached out . Within 24 hours I got my response. I researched prices quite extensively and am happy to say they had a good, fair price and they offered the best interest rate. Would never purchase another auto from this place ripped of bought a car from here not even a month later had to change water pump timing chain kept getting a run around had the car in 3 times and the mechanics couldn't find the problem but took it to my mechanic and boom no problem finding out what was wrong 1000 + later and coming from Niagara falls out of my own pocket cause JP motors refused to fix it never again. Purchased a car here in December 2017. Drove it on the highway and had intense steering wheel vibrations, so I took it back for wheel balancing and alignment. Problem wasn't fixed and they won't accommodate getting the car looked at again, nor will they answer my email regarding this matter. Offered to purchase my old car after the fact if the buyer I initially had for it fell through- once again they ignored my inquiry to pursue this. Called me in to have a tire sensor installed, which they ended up not being able to do because of the model of the car, and the service manager said they would be sending a cheque for roughly $200 because it wasn't installed- cheque has yet to show up. Overall unaccommodating and poor communication.

Purchased my first car in August of 2015, so this review is late but trust me the experience is not forgotten. I cannot remember the sales persons name but he was just awful. Apparently he is the son of the owner, who knows. He treated me as if I was annoying him when all I was if I could test drive a car. He huffed and puffed, and was very slow and just gave off a negative vibe. I didn't hassle him to do anything except pull a car out and hand me the key but that seemed too much. He told us they wouldn't budge on the price, and then he said they could give me $200 off (off of an $18,500 car that has been sitting there for a while). After I waited and waited, he comes back and says they cannot take a dollar off. I ended up having to do major repairs that cost $$$$$$ thousands, not hundreds. Bad experience, would not recommend. IF it was wasn't for the "decent" priced cars, they would be nothing.

I had a pleasant experience dealing with David. I inquired about a 1997 Mercury cougar that was on sale through Facebook marketplace. I can tell David is a hustler because this vehicle was listed multiple places. This vehicle is for a very select purchaser and I knew I was the one who was going to end up with it somehow. She was for sale for many many months and originally the price started high ,however over time they started reducing the price and because of my initial interest they reached out to me once the price was reasonable to me. Needless to stay I'm driving my cougar and I love it, I love old cars and David treated me Fair and I was happy with the service he gave me. I'm a used car dealer I know all the ropes and all the slangs and all the funny business salesman can pull and I was treated honest and fair I'm happy I would assume nothing less for anyone else buying anything from these folks.

The sales man was great, not pushy at all and just let us do our thing. However, the real magic happened with Zainab “business manager”. She went way out of her way to not only secure the best interest rate possible, as well she was able to pull some strings and incl a whole bunch of warranty and gap insurance into everything! I will not go elsewhere for any future vehicles unless she goes elsewhere! I have nothing but great things to say about Zainab, and how she managed “the process”! We definitely left the dealership feeling we got the best deal possible and it’s all thanks to her!

Horrible!!!! Absolutely Horrible!!!!! When I bought the car I purchased what I was told was a warranty to cover all major mechanical parts. After only a few months of owning the car the starter went. After I brought the car to my mechanic I learned that the warranty was a power train only?!?!? Really? Like I would have spent 2500 on a 18 month power train warranty?!?!? My fault, I guess I should have read all the fine print but I trusted JP Motors at that time. It was going to cost me $435.00 with my mechanic to fix it. Felling a little bit ripped off I called the dealership manager John and asked what we could do to make the situation right. John offered to fix the car and said he would discount the parts and labor but I had to get it to his shop. When I called to book the appointment with JP I asked what the estimated discount price would be but the service clerk was unable to give me a price because John was not in the office. After my mechanic temporarily fixed the starter I brought it in to JP and that’s when things got real slimy. John’s so called discount price was $400?!?!? This is after supposedly discounting 110 of the part and cut labor in half???? Seems to me John raised the prices to make it seem like he was discounting me when in fact he was not. When I called to speak with John and ask why it was only 35 less than what my mechanic quoted me he reminded me I should have gotten a quote before I brought it in ( Seems to me like he told the clerk not to quote me so he could jack me and hold me hostage when I got there). I told him I did request and would have never bothered if I had known and that $35 wasn’t much of a discount, his response was “ If you don’t like it, I will roll your car into the parking lot and leave it there” WOW!?!?!? John Is That what you call standing behind your products and customer service?!?! So just a warning to all reading this DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR FROM JP MOTORS THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF/SCAM YOU!!!!! DO NOT BE FOOLED LIKE I WAS THESE GUYS ARE AS SLIMY AS IT GETS! THEY ARE NOT SALESMEN BUT MORE LIKE CON ARTISTS. LARRY THE OWNER IS A JOKE FOR LETTING THIS HAPPEN IN HIS SHOP.

I was looking for a used car as my car had a big maintenance cost equal to the value. SO I decided to try JP Motors, they sent me some suggestions which was nice. I went on time for my scheduled appointment with a guy to look at the cars, he was not their. I waited half hour for him to come as soon as he came he was forcing me to buy a car I do not know why but that was annoying after many requests I saw some cars and decided to buy one car after test driving it. (I did tell the sales person prior to seeing any car that I am willing to spend $250 a Month on car payments which he said that car fits perfectly) I went in completed the paperwork and gave them a deposit of $500, and to my surprise they are telling me that you will be paying $600 Monthly . I was shocked and denied to purchase the vehicle from them. the sale person told me that it will take 5 days to get your deposit back and everyone started talking rudely I felt embarrassed . The finance manager told me to get out of her office as she is expecting somebody. I would not recommend this place to an enemy everyone will behave with you rudely in case you do not buy a car from them. Very Unprofessional Service. I am happy I was not fooled by them!! To all looking for a used car try buying a new one as I bought a New Honda and the payments are lower Interest rate is just .99% and most importantly they were not rude and UN-Professional.

SLIMY TACTICS!! Took my daughter to buy her first car. The salesperson was great. Found a car, wrote up the bill of sale and she applied for financing. Next day got a call from the finance manage telling me she was approved and what the monthly payments would be. I said that would be fine and I would let her know. When we picked it up we noticed that in the final bill of sale there was an additional $3000 in life insurance that was not on the original bill of sale. They had included the $3000 in the price without asking us! According to them I had approved it when they told me about the monthly payments. At no time did anyone say there was an additional charge. I guess they figured that they could hide it in the monthly payments. Unbelievable! Even during the barrage of documents my daughter signed not one word was mentioned. My advice is BEWARE!! Make sure that you check your final bill of sale. It's too bad because the sales people were great and this review by no means reflects our experience with them. My daughter went in that same day and had the 3000 additional charge cancelled. Good life lesson!! Would never go back on principle alone!

Set up a test drive... Did not negotiate price as I did my research and this was a great price as it is. Picked up my truck 4 days later it was detailed to make it look new.... Driving home I notice a new noise coming from my left front strut, I called service and they had it fixed within a week... I'm an easy customer because I went there for one car only, and bought it cash. So, the limited dealing I had to do was very good, and everybody did their job well. A few small points that made me only give 3 stars. I took it straight to my mechanic too have all synthetic oil put in, figuring they probably used generic oil even in performance cars. Not only did they not use the recommended oil, but they didn't change the oil or filter at all. My mechanic said that in 50 years he had never heard of a dealership that doesn't deliver with a fresh oil change. The brake rotors on the front (the rear were new) and the tires were right on the verge of not passing safety. Once again, my mechanic who has no stake in this game said in all his experience any dealer would have changed both (not as bad as it sounds I was going to put higher performance units on anyway). Small things, but a lot of customers might have been pickier about these things, or had to buy new brakes in 1000km, or run 10,000 km with oil that was already 10,000 old.

I didn't buy a car from them yet but the sales man (Gerry) was amazing. he let me test drive 3-4 cars without a single pushy tactic. he was a really nice and polite guy which made me and my girlfriend comfortable while hunting for a used car. Im really surprised that salesmen today are still trying to be pushy and use ancient tactics, I've met so many of them that I wish I could tell them go **** yourself. but not Gerry, Gerry was awesome :) If I didnt live in Toronto I would checkout JP motors every day of my car search

Dealing with JP motors was the WORST experience I’ve ever had to deal with, the fudged up paperwork and put my co signer as the primary and did nothing to fix the situation, Ryan (finance manager) was rude and un helpful. The truck it’s self has touch up paint all over it and has now worn off and is rusting. These guys are crooks and I would never recommend buying anything from them

They have a really good selection of cars that are mostly in pretty good shape, especially the higher end vehicles. Sales staff are mediocre and pushy to get the deal done. There is zero negotiating here. The biggest drawback is that they are over priced by at least 15 to 25 percent. Do your homework before making the deal.

Make sure you take someone who knows what to look for when buying a used vehicle! Thankfully my husband went to look at vans and found a dent on the exhaust and muffler was rusting. He said a hole was guaranteed and that whole muffler would need to be changed from front to back. Am i making sense? Anyway, he asked JP Motors if they would fix it and they said they would not. Someone who doesnt know what to look for (like myself), is going to have a big problem on their hands that JP Motors knows about but doesnt want to pay for, but will surely sell it to you
