I brought my 2003 GMC SONOMA ZR2 into Riverside Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd. to have my transmission looked at because I it felt like I was losing my top end gears, they ripped it apart then put it back together then I brought it back home parked it in the driveway then noticed a few days later that A pool ofTransmission fluid was all over my drivewayThen I put cardboard under it and it polled moreWhen I called and spoke to them at the dealership I told them all I wanted was a jug of transmission fluid so I'd be able to top it up and get it to another shop where they're putting a new transmission in for meThey wouldn't come good for it they couldn't even justify what he had done they said I would have to bring it into them to look over it again which they knew it wasn't able to drive plus they lost a bolt for my protective plate for my transmission and they wouldn't even address that,I wish I had taken photos of everything before I had taken it in there did not realize how dishonest the dealership was.

Brought my Terrain there for 2 recalls. 1 was inside door trim paint and the other was a computer update. They said it needed to be sent to prescott auto body shop to be repaired. I dropped my truck off to them and they gave me a loaner for a few days. I then got at call that my vehicle was finished. I quickly went to pick it up . Upon first drive after the paint was fixed i noticed my brakes were very damaged. I returned to this dealership immediately to complain and was told they must have been like that. Not true what so ever. My brakes were new, rotors, pads and calipers all brand new GM parts. After getting it home the brakes were so bad. if you just touch them the truck would start to wobble. I then spoke with someone who said nobody had been driving my truck all weekend. I then remembered i got a message from a friend that said he had seen me driving my truck like an idiot up the prescott bridge by the high way. Same paint issues and rust was on it. I cannot prove it. but anyway. a little later someone called to see if i liked the service i received. upon saying no and explaining my issue this woman i was speaking to was protecting someone for sure i just knew it. They deny deny deny. Personally i would not take any vehicle there for even an oil change. I would not buy a vehicle from them. Nothing. Someone heated up my brakes and slammed on them to damage them that bad and it was not me since my brakes were just about new and i am a highway driver for the most part. Thanks for nothing riverside. Move your body shop to your dealership so someone doesn't have to wreck other peoples cars from driving to and from prescott in a joy ride. Very poor service.

My boyfriend & I were on our way to Toronto, from Montreal, and our GMC truck broke down. A few hours later, we got towed to this garage. We were already prepared to have to spend the night at a motel in Brockville, thinking the repairs would get done the next morning at best. Even though it was late and close to all the employees' end of shift, they all came together to find the problem and fixed it right away. Thanks to everyone at Riverside Chevrolet, we were able to make the drive safely to Toronto that night. Best service received from a car dealership! They even gave our dog lots of treats & cuddles! I bought a 2012 Chev Equinox new in 2012. Since then there have been 3 recalls and I have had 2 repairs NOT covered costing well over $150 each! One of the recalls was all 4 doors had paint corroding at the base, we have had to bring it in for them to redo it and now we're bringing it in a third time! The car is just 5 years old now and we have to replace the barings....of course NOT covered under warranty. You would think if they wanted to keep their customers and considered the time and gas spent going in for their shotty job on the paint recall, that they would at least discount the baring job!! My husband is in the market to replace his 07 Chev now and it will NOT be at Riverside!!

Our experience with Riverside Chev Buick GMC was very positive. Barry provided timely and informative replies to our e-mail inquiries and also sent pictures when requested. His follow up service on the phone was thorough, honest and accurate and the price of the vehicle was fair. We travelled from a distance and the Riverside team demonstrated that they valued our time and business by having the car safetied, washed and parked out front awaiting our arrival. The receptionist was friendly and there was no delay in getting us in to see our salesman, Barry McMillan. Barry offered a friendly greeting, showed us the car and had it ready for a test drive in a timely manner. We found the vehicle exactly as Barry described and were happy to chat with the mechanic that ad worked on the safety when he dropped into the office. Robyn had the paperwork done and the license and ownership transferred at Service Ontario while we enjoyed lunch at a great little diner Barry recommended. Overall, we are very happy with the quality of the vehicle we purchased from Riverview and the excellent service we received from Barry and Robyn and the rest of the Riverside team that supported their efforts. We would be happy to deal at Riverside again and would recommend this dealership to friends without reservation.

I would not recommend buy a new vehicle from GMC here. I bought a brand new 21 Sierra 2500 HD Denali and within 1300km I’ve already had it at the dealer 3 times. First it was power steering issue, second was and ecm issue and third was the brake booster. I took it to GM surgenor which which they were great service and they requested to fly the part in but GM did not want to. The truck sat for 14 days at the dealer waiting for the part and GM would not bother giving me another loaner truck for work. I contacted the sales rep at Riverside GM brockville and he said he would look into it because I informed him I had bought a lemon from them and never heard back. Now I’m stuck with a truck that just keeps having issues. On top of all GM said they can’t do anything about it.

Disappointed............. I did a test drive on a truck I was very interested in. I Sat down with the salesman and went over numbers including a trade. Everything was written up and I asked if I could take the night to think about it. The salesman said yes of course. I called the following morning to inform them I wanted to purchase the truck. I was bluntly told that they had sold the truck after I had left. I was even told that it was someone from out of town and that he came up with the money first and that is how business works. I will never step foot on their property again.

This dealership seems to be of well-run dealership. Every time I go to Brockville and if I ever need a GM part this is the place I'd stop at. The parts manager Steve has been around a while and he was very very knowledgeable. His stuff treat you and are very personable when assessing your needs. While on vacation with my wife and kids near Brockville the transmission in my '97 Suburban began to slip. It turned out that I had been losing transmission fluid and needed a replacement transmission. A new one was found but it would take at least 4 days to arrive. The service team at Riverside Chevrolet provided a complementary brand new Chevy Equinox, for us to complete our holiday plans, drive home again, and back to Brockville a week later to pick up our Suburban (1500 kms) at no additional expense. The new transmission works great and came with a 3 yr warranty, and a $100 gift card from GM. The total cost, slightly over $3K , was less than what I was expecting and less than what I paid to have the clutch packs replaced 4 yrs earlier by my local mechanic - with no warranty. Carl, the service manager said he would take care of me and my family and he sure did. He made me feel like we were his most important customer. I highly recommend Riverside Chevrolet and in particular, Carl and his team!
