I really love my car and the sales staff were really good. But, after going in for a routine recall service, I found some hoist damage to my rocker panel. A few phone calls, emails, and a couple different service managers, absolutely nothing has been done to fix the damage. 2 years later I'm still waiting. They keep saying they will look into it and will get back to me everytime I drop in to follow-up with them. I would not recommend getting your car serviced at this dealership. There is no accountability whatsoever.

We had the best time buying our Golf! It started as just looking around one Saturday to driving away with a vehicle 5 days later. Amber chatted with us briefly in the parking lot and a few minutes later after looking around, went in and sat for a few minutes and left with her card saying that we were just starting to think about purchasing a new car. Regardless if you have scheduled the first appointment the wait at this dealer is less than satisfactory and most times a simple oil change is in excess of 2.5 hours even if you are waiting and identified the need to be somewhere when booking. When phoning for the oil change it is never communicated what this scheduled additional maintenance is, rather they wait till you arrive........surprise! I have been going there because of a purchase and not once has a preplanned visit went according to plan. Seriously not impressed to the point I would not consider a VW for my next car and I truly enjoy the ride!

They know I'll be there promptly at 4, but I still have to wait 30 minutes for them to arrange the loaner. Wish they could plan this out better.

Everything doesn't go smoothly all of the time, but how you deal with it is a testament to the type of organization you are. My wife’s beetle has knocking noise, we went to three different vw dealers, just got same answered “NORMAL AND NO PROBLEM CAN BE FOUND”. My partner and I had an unfortunate experience at this dealership today. We walked in without an appointment and asked to see a salesperson, as the lease on our current vehicle is up next year and we have started the research process for our next vehicle. Since we didn’t have an appointment we wouldn’t have minded waiting until a salesperson became available if that need be, but we were introduced to Amber almost immediately. We started discussing our needs and wants and she set us up with the first vehicle we were going to test drive and said while we were gone she would set up the next one. We went for our drive and returned at which point she had the next vehicle prepared so we were quickly put into that vehicle and told to take it for a drive. Upon our return, we entered the dealership to see Amber at her computer with a new set of clients. She told us she would be right with us, basically asking us to wait. From our perspective it looks like she started helping another set of customers while we were out on our test drive. We sat down and waited. At this point probably only 5 or so minutes had past by but due to the open concept layout of this dealership we could hear a lot of the conversation Amber was having with her other customers and it didn’t sound like it was going to be wrapping up anytime soon. My partner and I looked at each other and decided to leave. As we were exiting Amber said “sorry guys” and continued with the customers she was with. I’ve purchased only 3 cars in my life, so I’m by no means an expert, but I’ve never had a car salesperson take on another customer in the midst of dealing with me. I asked a friend of mine about this, who works at a dealership in Toronto, just to get her opinion in case I was maybe being unreasonable and she reassured me that our salesperson was basically trying to double dip at this point and that we were within reason to feel the way we did. I understand this review is lengthy but I just wanted to warn anyone who might read this to not deal with Amber if you go to this dealership. Maybe this was our fault for disclosing we weren’t looking to buy on the spot. Maybe those other customers were, but either way this left a pretty bad taste in our mouths. The most frustrating part of all is that the one car we drove was actually really amazing and we were excited to get back and get into the financial details etc... guess if we are going to purchase that VW it definitely won’t be from this dealership.

This dealership deserves a 10/10! I was on the hunt for a new Vehicle. I wanted a full size SUV and exploring options: Toyota Four Runner, Acura MDX and the VW Atlas. I am located in Kitchener and went to the closest dealership down the street from me - Crosby Volkswagen. I wanted to quickly test drive the vehicles so I could decide which I preferred and the Atlas exceeded all expectations. I went to Crosby to test drive and was greeted by a sales guy Aaron who later came on very strong, excessively texting, emailing and calling me to try and secure the sale. They had a lot of "mandatory" fees they put on each deal which I later learned was hidden fees. I took to Google Reviews to find the reviews from the other VW dealerships that were local and Brantford had the BEST and HIGHEST review. I called the dealership and was connected immediately with Lorne Little. How often do you call a dealership and immediately get connected with the store owner? Never right? That's why it's worth the extra drive to Brantford to connect with this amazing family-owned dealership. I explained my situation to Lorne with Crosby Volkswagen and they immediately set me up with a phenomenal sales guy - JB Boniface. Who even stayed late along with Lorne to and Angela Wringley to assist me with my purchase. Not once did I ever feel RUSHED, PRESSURED, or FORCED into a vehicle purchase. I have previously purchased through BMW, Ford, Chevrolet and recently Toyota and my experience with VW in Brantford far exceeded all of the previous experiences. This was thee most STRESS-FREE experience I have EVER had with a vehicle purchase. Angela in finance worked hard to get me an excellent rate, JB was an absolute legend finding out exactly what I wanted and needed in my vehicle and explaining all the details of each vehicle to ensure I picked the vehicle perfect for me, Lorne was amazing ensuring I was happy every step along the way, offering an excellent trade in my vehicle, matching the other deal Crosby Volkswagen had offered as well as ensuring I got my vehicle exactly for when I wanted it and I was happy. I could spend hours writing about how impressed I was by the service I experienced at Brantford Volkswagen. They have my business for life and I will drive the 45 mins for all services just to deal with them. I have never been happier with the level of customer service I have received here. Working in an industry that is completely driven by excellent customer service, I know how important it is to exceed all client expectations and this dealership blew mine out of the water. Awful service!! We stored our winter tires (that we own) here over the summer. We booked an appointment to have the tries swapped out and took our car at 8:45 a.m. Around 2:30 p.m. we hadn't heard from them so we called to get an update. They said our car wasn't done yet because they were short staffed. We had to pick up our kiddo from school so my husband walked over to see if he could get more information. It turns out Brantford VW put our winter tires on someone else's car and did not have our tires (that we own). They did not tell us this over the phone when we called them. They do not have a solution for us. So now our property is on someone else's car and we have no winter tires. We are appalled at this incompetent customer service and would encourage folks to stay far far away from this place!!

Worked with Kathleen and Melanie to purchase a pre-owned hybrid vehicle. Easiest car buying experience I have had so far! Thanks to both of you for a seamless purchase experience - I was in-and-out both for the purchase decision (which was a no-pressure purchase) and then for the actual pick-up, which was some quick signatures and I was out of there with the keys in 30 mins. I had an issue emerge with a maintenance light coming on 2 days after I drove off the lot - Kathleen and the pre-owned manager have arranged for me to go into a local Jiffy Lube and have the bill sent to them. This is really excellent service and a great experience. I would definitely buy a car here again!

I honestly am super disappointed. I used to receive amazing service that has since gone downhill. I had my car in for an oil change Jan 20th 2021 - which I booked online a week prior. In the notes I mentioned I would need my vehicle back by 11am so I could go to work. When I arrived I was asked if Id be leaving it or picking it up, and I mentioned I specifically put in my appt request that Id need it- the person I left it with gave a slight sigh as if asking to get an oil change in TWO HOURS was asking a lot. If an oil change takes 2 hours thats a problem. When I picked up my car the service was much friendlier- HOWEVER. I was not given my 30pt inspection card, nor was my vehicle washed. I paid $144 for literally an oil change which is outrageous. They tried to "make it up" conducting the 30 pt inspection to tell me my one tire is cupping. Conveniently they didnt rotate my tires at the 45 k service which is what definitely caused it. Upon review of my service report I noticed at my 45k (done at about 42k) service all my tires were at a 7... for my oil change at 48.5k my tires were 2 - 6's and 2- 8's ... my tires magically got better? Jokes. Their service manager also completely ghosted me- I responded to her email questioning the above feb 8th... it's feb 25th now still no answer and a bs excuse from the dealer principle stating she had addressed all my concerns... really? cause all my concerns were not in my original email. Pathetic. Don't trust them at all. You'll never know the ACTUAL condition of your car

Great service and overall environment. Because I have an Audi, my nearest dealerships are Hamilton and Oakville which isn't always convenient. The folks at Brantford Volkswagen were very helpful in assisting me in a very affordable manner for a 2-3 minute task that other shops were quoting me $50, $80 and even more than $100 for. When I first bought my Tiguan I had no issues. Everyone was great. Never an issue getting appointments or anything. Now I’ve been trying for 3 weeks to get an appointment. No one is helpful. I asked to be put on a cancellation list and have had no calls. I don’t get my schedule 3 weeks out to be able to book. I was contemplating trading in my Tiguan for an id4 but at this rate I’d rather look at other manufacturers. To note: I understand tire season. I understand it’s the busiest time of the year. I also work in retail that involves tires. Which means I have a fluctuating schedule. What’s hard to believe is that they don’t keep just service appointments open. Update: wow. What a response vw. Did you not see that I have a fluctuating schedule? The next available appointment is on a day I AM GUARANTEED TO WORK. Also note to potential future customers…you don’t need to listen to their peer pressure speech when you buy new about only giving a 5 star review. They clearly don’t help when you need it anyways.

My vehicle would not consistently turn over when I turned the key. Periodically there was only a clicking noise. The first suspect was the starter, which was replaced, however, this did not resolve the issue. We discussed the next steps which will require some intense diagnostics which they agreed to do at no charge since the first attempt did not resolve the solution.

Fantastic service experience as always whether its a regular oil change interval/brakes/new tires/alignment. The pros at Brantford VW have my complete trust in my vehicle's service needs (which aren't at all frequent, but when they are due, I don't even hesitate to make an appointment here). They don't upsell you on stuff you don't need.. I've never sat in the waiting room thinking "oh what are they going to *find* wrong with the car and try to sell me on".. No, they just perform the agreed upon services as described by the maintenance schedule, no fussing around.. this is very characteristic of how businesses in Germany operate and I'm glad to see that business practice repeated here. I have a 2018 Golf.. best car I've ever owned, extremely reliable, drives as well 80,000km later as the first day I took it home. Thank you Brantford VW for helping me keep it in tip top condition. Your prices for service are THE MOST REASONABLE of any dealership in the Hamilton area.. well worth the drive. It's no wonder you are a Wolfsburg Crest Club dealership. Avoid this dealership at all costs Purchashed a 2017 Jetta under the certified pre owned warranty from VW Brantford They claimed this car was accident free which was a lie In addition to the damage on the front end of the car There were several other issues I noticed within the first day of owning the vehicle I immediately contacted the dealership to express my displeasure and was referred to their manager Lorne Little Lorne told me to bring the car back and he would personally redo the 112 point inspection and would fix any existing problems However when I brought the car back he was extremely ignorant and refused to inspect the car and address my concerns He even went as far to say that he would not be honoring the dealership credit that I was previously given due to the fact that the car was poorly detailed and oil change was not completed That's right they did not change the oil prior to selling me the car After taking my Jetta to Volkswagen Waterloo and paying for their mechanics to inspect the car my concerns were confirmed Not only does the repairs to the front end of my car not meet Volkswagen standards I also need my alignment fixed as well as have my oil changed among other things Despite this being a CPO vehicle and having bumper to bumper warranty it appears I will be absorbing these costs As the crooks at Volkswagen Brantford refuse to accept any responsibility for selling me this car in it's current state While I hope for some type of resolution with head office I am fully prepared to take VW Brantford to court should I need to be reimbursed for repairs If you are in the market for a VW take your business to Waterloo their service people are extremely honest

Went in for what I thought was going to be a crazy expensive repair. Received a ride back to my office, the repair was done before I was finished work. They picked me back up and it turned out to be a $30 repair. Ended up costing less than a taxi ride would have. Lol, not what I expected but a pleasant surprise and the shuttle SUV was much cleaner than a taxi would have been. ????

What a Team. Recently in the market for a Mercedes Benz C300. Came across the vehicle at Brantford VW and reached out via email. Amber was prompt on her response and worked with me to provide details on the vehicle. We drove to Brantford (45 minutes away) to meet with Amber and test the car. Brantford vw booked an appointment for me at 9:45 in the morning. I called at 2:30PM and asked about the status of the car and they didn't even looked at it. What is the purpose of an appointment if they don't have the time to look at the car?? The lady told me they are busy with winter tires. Awful treatment ! No customer service
