I purchased a 2017 Toyota Sienna last week from Gus and I had the best experience ever. He was quick, knowledgable, and was able to find me a car right away knowing I just had my third kid. Drew was also amazing at dealing with my finance. They both have amazing customer service! Also, Emma who delivered my car did an amazing job explaining how to use the different functions in the Sienna and how to fold and pull the seats. She is very patient. I definitely recommend this dealership to everyone who loves Toyota.

If I could post pics of my AMAZING Tundra Platinum I would!! Toyota's product cannot be beat and neither can their service. Ive dealt with another Toyota location so thought I knew what to expect walking into this location. Boy was I wrong. From moment I walked in right up to personally checking on me after my vehicle was delivered; to ensure I had good service, enjoyed my vehicle and to ask if anything could have been done better. HELL NO!! Ive never received this great of service in the 25 years Ive been purchasing vehicles. You want the job done by a team who will put your wants and needs first go see Gus in Sales-you don't see what you're looking for he'll find it for you. Then walk on over to Drew who's a pro at getting any deal financed. Toyota's "get er done" guys!!

We went to this dealership to check out new and used SUV's after visiting a few other dealerships. We have never dealt with or bought a Toyota before. We walked the lot checking out both new and used and decided to look in a few. As soon as we walked inside the dealership we were greeted by reception in a fast and friendly manner. She found us Dakota to help us out. He grabbed the keys to whatever it was we wanted to look at and talked about the features of each. Once we found something (we secretly) loved he told us which route was best for a test drive. When we got back we got to work getting the deal done. Never did we feel pressured into making a deal. They even brought us back outside to go over the used vehicle to point a few things out that they would fix first before delivery that we hadn't noticed before. They worked fast to get everything in order and done so we could pick up the vehicle upon the agreed day. The day of pickup Dakota greeted us right away and had another guy (he was really nice, wish I remembered his name) go over the vehicle in detail because it was a hybrid with lots of things we had never seen before. He took his time and answered all questions we had and said we can contact him at any time if we had questions. Then Dakota came out to make sure we were happy and to see us off. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend buying from them!

Well I didn't know it's was Canada's first Toyota Dealership from 1965 ..I pulled in with low tires, not my normal dealership. They were Fantastic!! Filled up my tires, Service Department was Great ! Just wanted to give a heart felt “Thank you” to the staff at Brantford Toyota. Purchased my 2018 Ruby red Camry about a month ago. Thought it was time to post a review. I was greeted by Tim Campbell. His very relaxed and no pressure approach had me feeling at ease. I was able to select and order the car I wanted equipped the way I wanted, quickly and easily. Into the finance office, where I dealt with Marcy Brown. Marcy was easy to deal with, well educated about the purchase, the product and after care services. I was able to pick up my new Camry a few days later and was pleasantly surprised with the preparation and clean-up from the detail crew. Car was immaculate. A few weeks later I noticed a small detail I was not pleased with. I was given excellent treatment from the Shop foreman Jay, helping me get my concern remedied quickly and 100% to my satisfaction. Horrible customer service and very rude associates other than the kind receptionist and young sales rep. I was given the wrong information about a different vehicle under the account and little accountability was taken. Stephanie provided a bunch of information on a leased vehicle under this account despite having my file with plate and model number. I had just done a safety inspection for the potential ownership transfer and her and another woman said, oh this wasnt actually needed for the wrong car they were discussing. I was mortified that i got it done unnecessarily. After having figured out they were providing info on the wrong vehicle, i went back to the store the next day to see what the actual process was. The receptionist called for her but she was no where to be found. After waiting for a few minutes, the receptionist went to look for her and came back stating Stephanie went to the bank, and I could wait around. I asked to speak to someone else. They were great and explained the details of the car transfer. He suggested I speak to a financial advisor about the proper vehicle. This grumpy older man had a tone of voice that was intimidating, scary, annoyed and unfriendly. When Stephanie did come back, she was pretty rude and didnt apologize for the misinformation. She had a horrible attitude. Honestly shocked, i expected more from this dealership.

I brought my van in to get the snow tires put on. When I called about this I was told there was a deal going on where it was 40$. I said even if they are not on rims and was told yes on the phone by the guy. I was also told that it would take an hour. I got there...I mentioned that I would stay if it was only an hour but if it was longer I would need a ride home since there were things I needed to do. It took 2 hours. Also they charged me 180 instead of 40. Apparently it cost 108 to swap off the rims also extra for something to be done to my tire sensors. It was explained to me that it is bad for the tires to take them on and off the rims and the sensors will often leak if they didn't do this to them. Had I been told all this before I may have gotten my tires put on rims first. I was too rushed to argue about the radical price increase because of it taking 2 hours instead of 1. Now I wonder if I can believe the quote I was given for the work needed on my rolling door.

General Manager - Beyond Unprofessional I worked with Gus in the sales department at the Brantford dealership to purchase a car for my parents. Working with Gus was smooth, efficient and professional. This morning both Gus and the general manager Chris Gam called me since I was trying to expedite the delivery of the car. From beginning to end the Chris was rude and condescending and showed no regard for his customer. Apparently he did't know my name and thought it was Martha (not Monika). He told me I don't understand the car business in Canada. He also said "I don't know who these people are coming to get the car". For context we were exploring my brother coming to pick up the car if it meant getting it a few days earlier. I had to say "these people" are your customer. I found that remark to be extremely offensive with undertones of racism, not to mention the mansplaining I was subjected to earlier in the call. Not sure if Chris has a blind spot when it comes to dealing with women. That experience was completely unnecessary and beyond unprofessional on his part. I will not be purchasing the car from Brantford Toyota.

Just bought a new car at this dealership and I was so happy with the service my husband and I received. After shopping around at a few dealerships, I was completely turned off the process of buying a new car. The sales people at OTHER dealerships were stingy, not offering a decent deal or trade in price on our existing car, were kinda sexist, and one flat out lied to us! I looked up various dealerships within a two hour radius and examined reviews, finally finding a dealership that looked promising What stood out to us, was how management responded to the few poor reviews, always courteous, explanatory with the intent to make the customer whole. Both Dakota and Mark were wonderful to work with as well as other staff we came in contact with. They were respectful, genuine people with amazing customer service skills and I would come back here to work with them in the future if/when we buy another new vehicle. Dakota, who sold us the car, didn't play the usual head games that most salespeople do. He sensed we were past that phase, listened to us and gave us a fair deal on both our new Prius and trade in vehicle. Don't waste time with other dealerships, just come here the first time around. You won't be disappointed!

If i could provide a 0 star i certainly would. Brought my truck in with an under warranty bad alternator, but because i have an aftermarket alarm they refused to diagnose or repair the issue. Living in brantford with a truck and not having an alarm is....well my last truck was stolen from my driveway. Disgusted by the customer service highly recommend against this dealership. Toyota for life, just not this dealership! After consultation with another Toyota dealership we were advised to raise our concerns to Toyota Canada and we are pursuing that route. As much as we appreciate your response this is not an individual fail but rather a dealership failure unto itself. When General Managers tell clients to drive an unsafe vehicle home, as identified by their mechanic, there is a MUCH larger under lying issue which needs resolved. 80-10-10....

I went to get my brakes fixed for my Father's car. They had it all day and did not call to notify they didnt have the part and hadn't started the job. They quoted me almost $2200. When I was shocked and looked into a secondary quote they suddenly had a cheaper option not mentioned previously. They also charged me $70 just to tell me my brakes needed to be done. I'm not usually one to write a review but this one deserves it. Hats off to the guys at Brantford Toyota. Simply the best bunch of guys you can find in the industry. If anything, these guys are 6/5 stars! We all know that trading in a vehicle, you will always lose. That's just the nature of the business on the consumer end. Dealerships have to turn a profit in order to survive and pay their staff. We fully understand this. So the trade I was proposing, in my opinion, was very honest and fair towards any dealer. I knew the huge loss I was going to take but with a baby on the way, it didn't matter anymore. Also, I wasn't going to do car payments either so my trade proposal had to be an even trade. I just needed something decent, good on gas, and roomy. I was looking to trade my 2013 Scion FRS for an older 2010 Honda CR-V and around the same mileage. I believe that to be honest and fair towards any dealer. As shown, Canadian Black Book also had my car valued at just above the older CR-V so losing that bit was totally fair in my books. They have to make a profit too. So I tried half a dozen dealerships in the Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge area and every single one did not see my trade as even. All of them still wanted me to pay $2000-$4000 extra for something that was older and not valued as much. It just didn't make any sense to me how greedy these people were. I was already coming in with dealer sided trade. I already knew that I was losing my shirt on the Scion even at a straight trade. Yet these people wanted to take all they could from me and more. I felt pretty hopeless after talking to one particular dealership basically trash talking my car insulting my trade proposal. I was also in a pretty vulnerable situation too- baby on the way and no good mode of transportation for a child. Possibly why all those dealerships wanted to take advantage of my situation. Not Brantford Toyota! Instead of trying to take advantage of us and milk all they could like everybody else, they actually wanted to help us. I can't fault them for trying to get some cash out of us at the beginning of our dealings. All dealers are trying to make the most they can (aren't we all?). But in the end, they saw our worried situation and instead of taking advantage of us, they set their all-out profit goals aside and genuinely helped us. The 2010 Honda CR-V they had on the lot was traded for my Scion FRS at even. The manager sympathized with our situation and truly helped us whole heartedly. My wife was close to tears when he came in and wished us all the best for our first child and that they'd do the even trade. For once, somebody actually cared for us and truly wanted to help us unequivocally. This is extremely rare in this industry. Most are just conniving greedy profit seekers that don't give a damn about anything but money. Not these guys. There are no words to express how thankful we are to Brantford Toyota. They truly have the most understanding, caring, and helpful people in the car selling industry bar none. The customer traffic through their dealership was unreal. I understand, it's because they are undoubtedly the best. If you want to buy a car, come see these guys. They put you first and not absolute profits like most dealerships do. My husband and I recently worked with Jeff Young to purchase a Toyota Sienna and we couldn’t be happier with both the service and expertise he was able to offer us in choosing the right model to fit our family’s needs and that could work within our budget. Jeff took the time to understand what exactly we were looking for (we needed to fit multiple child seats both rear and forward facing as well as trunk space for a large stroller and additional seating for occasional passengers). After exploring both SUV and van options we decided to go with the 8 seater Sienna vs. the 7 in order to accommodate every item on our wish list. Since we were purchasing during Covid-19, Jeff sent us photos of the actual vehicle and it’s seat configurations so that we didn’t need to make more trips to the dealership than necessary. As you can see, I have added the proof of this dealerships lack of ability to honour such marketing, that they have placed on their local website! These pictures are of the sales associate’s computer, in her office. When my husband and I went in to receive this incredible deal, as we had been watching the market, for a number of months, regarding the Rav4, the sales associate struggled to meet the numbers, which I had gotten right off of their local website, the evening prior, which my husband and I drove over an hour, one-way, to receive (they were well aware of our travels in also).. she approached the Finance Manager, who came in and stated that it was a “marketing error, we hire an external marketing company to handle all of our marketing, they must have switched the Corolla and RAV4 pricing, by accident” he stated that he would “honour” a deal and get us “cost” of the vehicle and that he was going to “do us a favour”..? Long story short, we were in a few months prior and the number then was $15 less bi-weekly, then the “favour” he had performed. He gave us some sob story, about how they “won’t make any money if we honour this error”.. So us as the loyal customer and consumer (at this time- Toyota owner) were supposed to just sit back and not hold a large franchise company accountable, for advertising a certain price and then not honouring that price?! These places need to be held more accountable! This was disgusting and disheartening, as a then loyal Toyota customer and consumer! This happened on a weekend, so the GM was not in. The most horrendous part was that the financial manager and the sales associate swore up and down that they would be connecting with the GM on Monday and that I would be receiving a call from him, to rectify this.. We never received any form of communication, from this dealership and every time I called, to connect with the GM, I was hung up on, once transferred, three times!! That’s no coincidence.. As a dealership, you should all be ashamed!! How many people has this happened to?! Awful customer service, lack of ability to honour their marketed deals and rebates, lack of ability to rectify a horrible customer experience-based on THEIR error, lack of trust and honesty!! I’m happy to say that I traded in my Toyota, for an entirely different make of vehicle because I will not pay thousands, into a company, that I CANNOT trust! This dealership left a horrid taste in my mouth, regarding the Toyota brand, as a whole. If you absolutely want to do business with Toyota, I would steer very clear of this dealership! Ps. I have filed two full complaints with Toyota Canada and will be placing a formal complaint, with the BBB! Shame on you!! *In response, to the deceitful response below; that’s all incorrect, the price was NOT listed by Toyota Canada, it was listed by your “outsider local marketing company”, according to your financial manager and is based on Toyota Canada’s pricing recommendations. As I’m sure you already know, but to provide transparency to the readers, different Toyota dealerships have different fees and administrative costs/freight fees etc., thus the pricing recommendation, as each site is independently owned. It is YOUR responsibility, to honour what is published/marketed, linked to your dealership and the Toyota brand, period! I did not “agree” to those numbers, what I intended to agree to was what was advertised and displayed on your local Toyota website, which you will see is displayed on your sales associate’s computer, please refer to the attached pictures, for your reference. You’re incorrect and misleading response is a direct reflection of your dealership/customer service and the proof that your dealership lacks not only very basic business skills, but also respect/honesty/genuinity, for your customers, the surrounding community and the Toyota brand. It’s also very interesting to me that you waited until I posted my honest experience (so that others don’t fall victim), on Google, regarding your site, to provide me a response.. Customer service does not seem to be of high priority to Toyota. My husband went in to speak to someone about buying a new vehicle and has yet to hear back from them at all. After testing driving , selecting all purchasing details just need to confirm a trade in value. He was told they would contact him the next day this was over two weeks ago. Very expensive labour costs in the service garage. I've currently been waiting over 15 minutes for a call they said would be only 5 minutes for a quote. My friend let me hear his conversation with the financer because he said he was rude and I didn't believe him and Eric the finance guy ended up being extremely rude and condescending, I was sincerely blown away. My friend which was could've bought the car out whole said "after that, not a chance." I agreed and told him to go elsewhere. I was completely blown away and if he's working there, I will never get another Toyota again.

I called Jason at the parts department to ask how much does it cost to make an an extra key with remote for a very popular Camry 2015 base model LE (turn key start). Not sure if this is a company policy or a personal response....He said You need to come here with proof of ownership and ID and VIN number and etc.................. I said I need to know just the cost of the key? Trying to make things harder. Good luck no answer. I called another 2 Toyota dealerships the same exact question with the same wording was answered immediately...I Can drive there if it is further. Get the key done. It should be a simple question and a simple answer. Update: Definitely it makes perfect sense when you go to physically make the key you have to provide the required documents. When i called the dealership he can tell me we have 3 options for the Camry and the cost of each option.

Why would I contact you we have already dealt with this and Ben Cliff is the reason for not ever coming back to performance auto group. I’m not in to being bullied by him any more or ever again. I've been looking for my used car to purchase for a long time and found one online at Brantford Toyota. Because it was very far from where I was I hesitated to visit. I finally visited Brantford Toyota and it was all worth my travel. My 2016 Kia Sorento was in MINT shape and it was reasonably priced. Staffs were very professional, polite and kind. I recommend my sales person Craig he was kind, respectful, understanding, supportive to my side, and very detailed minded. I asked him verbally to check many small things on my vehicle before delivery dates, he made sure all my requests were done and he reported to me even before I asked him the results. Most sales representatives would've forget one or more of my request. The questions I had, he didn't just ignore, I saw him trying and asking technician to answer all my question. A week after my purchase I realized there was a minor issue with my parking brake which needs to be adjusted. I called Craig he happily guided me to person who can help me bring in my vehicle to Brantford Toyota and right now I'm in lobby where my 3 y.o son is enjoying free amenities Brantford Toyota is offering to its customers. Proof that "it only takes one person"..... Brought my Toyota Camry in for servicing. Joanne at the service desk talked on the phone while I waited a good 5-10 min for service. I went to another service agent... Caleb Anger. Caleb was courteous and efficient. When i called in for status update on my car I was told by Joanne that she couldn't help me because she had customers at the desk! (Made me wait while at the desk). Repairs completed .. excellent work. Picked up my car... sigh... Joanne again.... another chance for excellent customer service.... FAIL. Impersonal, bordering on rude. Scrutinized my final bill going over items two and three times to make sure I was being charged fully for all the work done. Awful service by Joanne.... remedial training recommended. I've been a Brantford Toyota customer for 11yrs. This felt like a step down.

Called parts department at this location to get a key replaced on my vehicle. Was told that I had to get my car towed to the dealership so they can program the key . I was also advised by the parts department that to program the software on my key was about 50$ and the key itself would cost 41$ . Then I called the dealership in hamilton on upper James where the staff is actually well trained and they did a new key for me for less than 5 bucks . Nothing else was required. I would suggest and advise that this dealership in Brantford to hire properly educated staff that knows what their doing instead of hiring retarded MULES . Many thanks goes out to the hamilton upper James dealership for their honesty and integrity .

Dissatisfied with post purchase experience First things first, Toyota make amazing vehicles, I absolutely adore my Tacoma. My family have bought Toyota vehicles for over 20 years and still have our first one My issue is with the dealership itself. I’m a young professional and look my age (early 20s) I was not taken seriously at first and felt a burden on the sales rep. On delivery of the vehicle, it was missing mud flaps and was told they would be in. This was in November 2019. I have since reached out twice regarding the issue and the second time they said they would contact me about the parts. It’s now June 2020 and it’s been radio silence. Overall, great vehicles but definitely push to have everything that’s supposed to be included (maybe even taken off another vehicle) or else you may never get it

Everything went fine up until a day before we were supposed to pick up the vehicle. Dakota called and said there was a dent in the vehicle. We are not local and had a baby sitter already booked and paid for but we understand things happen. Being as its a new almost 70000$ vehicle we expected the panel to be replaced and to be compensated for wasting our time. We were not expecting huge compensation but a few hundred off the vehicle would have been fine. We were informed they were not replacing the panel and that it had been fixed to perfection. We also would not be receiving any compensation for wasted time and the damage. Additionally we were informed by Dakota that it is very common for vehicles to be damaged while on the lot and they do not have the margins to discount the vehicle. You will hear this a lot from them. We were constantly made to feel as though we were being unreasonable for asking for any compensation. During this process getting a hold of anyone was a struggle at the best of times. We also had a RIN number created which we would be able to use on any future purchase of a vehicle as well which they are refusing to hand over for what seems like spite for not purchasing the vehicle. Not a big deal, just seems petty. Seems like based on the other reviews, as long as the process has no bumbs in it and you ok with paying full price for the vehicle regardless of upgrades you will be fine. Should there be any issues they will be dealt with depending on their margins. It is clear the minute they have any reduction in their commission they stop caring.

Purchased a "limited availability" 2020 Toyota Camry TRD edition with the two-tone white and black in color and I am loving it! They had one in the showroom which was sold but they went out of their way and looked for another one with the exact same color from another dealership which North Bay Toyota currently had one. My sales person "Craig" was very friendly and helpful. He made the sale go very easy and smoothly along with Marcy who helped me with financing and knowledge me on why that extra warranty package is important, specially on this very limited TRD edition Camry. Once they have secured the vehicle from North Bay Toyota it took a week for delivery which Craig kept me updated on when the vehicle was going to arrive. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and I would like to thank Craig, Marcy and everyone at Brantford Toyota for helping me purchase my very first vehicle! Update: In response to the owners comment below i would like to emphasize that my review was primarily about how poorly I was treated. While i may think that the cars price was too high for the actual condition it was in, that was not my main complaint. When a company boasts about being top rated for "guest satisfaction" I expect to be treated much much better than I was! My original review: Worst experience I have ever had at a Car dealership. The ad for the used vehicle I came to look at went on and on about how good shape the vehicle was in and how great their guest customer satisfaction was. Instead the vehicle was in much worse shape than advertised, and we got treated very poorly. After starting a discussion on price due to the various issues of the car the salesperson proceeded to go get her manager. This then turned into a typical sales tactic of making us wait for 10+ minutes while the manager was “on the phone”. As soon as we complained about how long it was taking, the manager was magically immediately available with a paper showing there “best offer”. When trying to discuss price further we were rudely silenced by the manager saying: "No no no! we are not talking price. This is the offer!" Sort of in the same tone a parent might talk to a naughty 2-year-old! Extremely disappointed, doubt I will ever recommend Brantford Toyota to anyone.
