During the time of Covid-19 and physical distancing, purchasing a vehicle may seem impossible because prospective buyers cannot do the traditional test drives. It is definitely not impossible! In fact, the virtual purchasing experience with Grant was my best (that I can remember) vehicle purchase experience. We knew the vehicle we wanted, the color, trim line and it was at the Brantford Kia dealership (we live an hour away). I made contact through the dealership website and Grant returned my call. He was pleasant to talk to on the phone and was efficient with the correspondence, arranging a virtual test drive with Peter and the follow up questions we had before committing to purchase. The virtual test drive— this is innovative and was a total personal immersive experience with Peter to help solidify the vehicle we had chosen. The transaction was completed within a few days and delivery was at a mutually-agreed to time and place. The only regret I have is that we could not meet the other people in-person involved in the sale, but we certainly will when we are able to visit the dealership when physical distancing limitations are relaxed. We had huge engine problems with our Kia Sorento. We were lucky enough to purchase extended warranty through another company which came into play during the service visit. We are very thankful our Kia ended up here. Joel the service manager was excellent and took care of us from the minute we walked through the door until our vehicle was returned to us. He kept us informed through the whole process and if there was anything additional to be done. It was a very long and tiring process but having top notch customer service from Joel and his team made it smooth. The team is excellent and is very friendly. You are not made to wait when you walk in the door and there is always a smiling face to greet you within seconds. If it was not for Joel and his knowledge, help and willingness to care for his customers I believe this process would have been more of a nightmare. We felt like our needs were addressed and they took every step possible to make us feel like a valued customer instead of a number. When you feel like your valued the bill doesn't hurt as much. Having a trusting dealership where you are not bullied into anything is great to have. We also had the pleasure to deal with Chris in sales. I would also highly recommend him as well. He has a great deal of knowledge and is friendly and outgoing. Coming from a Dealership environment and a customer service background I would highly recommend Brantford Kia and their team of staff.

Yesterday was my first time there since we moved to Paris. Mark and the service department treated me like I've been a long-time customer at this location. First class all the way. Highly recommend this Kia location.
I took my Sportage in for a recall and service, everything was fine but it was annoying how many calls I received from them trying to upsell for unnecessary services. After I got home I noticed over the next few days that something was leaking from under the engine bay. I tried to determine what it was to no avail. Took the car to Midas to have it looked at, and they informed me that the leak was coming from the drain plug that was not secured correctly after my oil change. I guess the attention to detail here is not so great in the service department.
I have bought 6 kias from this dealership due to being a crazy road warrior for work and I have to say I love these guys. Pat stands behind the product he sells and when a used car he sold me turned out to be a lemon he worked with me on a tradein to a new car without hitting me for the additional 12k in mileage I put on the vehicle. Grant is THE guy and definitely deserves a rating of 11 if that were possible. He always makes sure that we are happy with our vehicles and when it comes time to trade in, he is there with valuable knowledge in any questions we have. I cant see myself ever owning another make of car and I will always come back to Brantford Kia. Excellent service, knowledgeable staff and great prices. Highly recommend.

I received a notice of a voluntary service campaign for my 2018 Stinger. As the recall was brake related, they suggested I purchase brake service while it was in. I asked if it were possible to get a ride while the vehicle was in service, but that service was only available if I paid for the additional brake work. They did check my alignment and I did have that service done while it was in. The staff were friendly and attentive and the service was easy to book.
Daryl in Service was great. He kept me updated, explained exactly what was happening and what work was required or recommended on my vehicle. Very professional, fair but also very friendly.

Brought my car in for a recall service and got other work done to clean the engine. They got me in the afternoon I called and had the car back before 5pm which was great. I was greeted well and the man who helped me was very friendly and offered great customer service. They even gave me a free car wash ticket! Only complaint is I asked for a quote on fixing my driver's side mirror and they forgot to do it while my car was in service,but they did call me early today with the quote instead. Now my engine is clean and running much better than it was before.

I am a customer of Grimbsy Kia. I was in Brantford for a ball tournament in the fall. I got in an accident where my car was totalled by an absent minded driver. I was absolutely devastated. It was late on a Saturday and unfortunately the car rental place was already closed. I was 45 mins from home and stranded. I called Brantford Kia. From the first word they were so nice. I had been considering an Electric Vehicle and was shopping the market for a suitable vehicle. I wanted 400-500 km range and it needed to be Front Wheel Drive, so that I could tow it behind our RV on a Tow Dolly. After extensive online research, the Kia Niro EV fit the requirements exactly. The Sales and Support Team really knew their product and the EV competitors, what to consider to fit our needs and some of the incentives available. Just as important, they were able to show me a car which I was able to drive. They knew the features and how they worked and even more importantly, they could show me what some of these features could do to make our driving safer and more enjoyable both for me, and also for my wife. We went from 2 cars to one and love the Kia. Their sales team also gave me solid advice on buying now, not later and I valued their advice. It was the right decision. Could not be happier with the car, the buying experience and the attention to our needs and details. Highly recommend the excellent purchase experience and the superb vehicle we acquired.

Update: your technician confirmed that this vehicle have no damage at the rear using electronic devise!! And while i checked it with naked eyes i found trace of welding and painting but your technician kept saying that car have no paint or damage!?

I went for my service for my 2020 SUV and the service at the actual Kia dealership was very good. The only thing I encountered was that the person calling me to book my appointment tried to talk me into various other services that I did not necessarily need as my car was very new. The people at the dealership were awesome and even though we are in Covid , I was allowed to Stay in the store area while my car was being serviced.The service itself was very fast as I had a recall on my vehicle and they were less time than they originally planned which worked out perfectly for me to continue on with my workday. I have been a new Kia Sedona owner for over a year now and I have had stellar service and fantastic experiences when I go to the dealership. When I go in I feel like family and that is something that is hard to find at any sales location. I started out with Grant Johnson and after that very informative and rewarding experience I was then introduced to the rest of the team. Mostly I deal with my awesome service guy Jeremy Mercer, but if I have any problems and Jeremy isn't there, one of the guys from the garage area are more than happy to answer my questions. Just bought a used Sportage from Chris Bagaco. I have some experience with seeing how sales people work to close a sale. Chris never once pushed me to make a decision or sign on the line. What he did do was show me how much he believed in vehicle by encouraging me to take a test drive. He offered to let me take it home to show the family. He knew the more I experienced it, the more I would like it. He was right. It’s so comfortable. We just did a road trip up north to the cottage and we averaged about 10.5 l/100 km, which I think is pretty good. Looking forward to many more road trips.

For someone who isn't a car expert, this is very handy to understand what's going on with my car. Purchased new car here. Staff is courteous and friendly. Fixed small issue with car promptly. After 2 years the car lost air conditioning. It was hard to diagnose and took a few tries but eventually the defective part was identified and the repair was covered under warranty.
I bought a 2016 Kia Sportage at the beginning of December, and I love it. I know I've only had it for three weeks, but so far everything is great. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and knew their stuff. Grant sold me the car, and he was both friendly and knowledgeable about the product. The only thing I wish I could change was that the Sportage didn't come in red, but for the value and features I got in the car, I was happy to go with a sleek looking mineral silver. It does look like the 2017 model may come in some splashier colours though, so if that's what you're into, keep an eye out! Thanks to Pat and the whole team.
We liked that the Kia Sorento had an excellent Consumer Report rating. We're glad that we test drove the basic and EX model. Kia's Sales Rep, Grant, was a wealth of knowledge and really listened to what we needed. We eventually decided on the EX as it had power lift gate, 3.3 L V6 motor, and an optional third row. Our youngest also liked that it had a sunroof and heated middle row seats. Everyone walked out happy and with the great Kia Offers and 0% finance no one loses!

When I purchased my 2019 Kia Soul, I found the experience incredibly pleasant and painless. I am pleased to say my first service experience was just as pleasant. Great service. Took '14 Optima in for reg oil change and induction cleaning. They washed the car (very needed considering the time of year). Car was ready quicker than expected. They also fixed the spring on my pop-out key. I didn't ask them to do this, it was just a nice surprise.
I recently purchased a 2021 Seltos EX at Brantford Kia and I have to say, compared to the purchase experiences I have had at other dealers, this experience was head and shoulders above the rest. The whole process was quick, I got what I wanted at the price I wanted to pay with the absolute minimum of fuss, hardly any negotiating, the staff was friendly, accommodating and most of all, the bulls**t meter was silent! I will definately be back. I would like to give a few folks a shout out at the dealership, Peter and his very good you tube videos (if you are interested in the Kia brand check them out, seriously) brought me to Brantford kia, second, the rep I dealt with, James, was friendly, thorough and kept in touch without being pushy. Thirdly the manager there at the time of my purchase, Tim, was very accommodating and the entire purchasing process was quick and friendly. Much different than an experience I had at a different Kia dealer where a vehicle purchase took almost an entire day. Lastly the owner (Patrick) sent me a personal email a few days later, asking if I had any questions and thanked me for my business. I will definitely be back to Brantford Kia the next time I need a vehicle, and I am certainly telling my friends and family about my recent purchase experience. No Mark Szpara, Oshawa Kia said the brake job should have been $400 less than the over $1700 I ended up getting(not that I thought it would be $400). I hope your customers don't believe that the front AND back were both unsafe for the road at the exact same time, especially since they were previously repaired separately at dates no where close to each other! Again I trusted you as a new student to Brantford, when my parents were out of the country and a decision had to be made. But thanks again for your empathy. P.S. My dad is still waiting for the call back you said would happen on your Goggle Review page. By the way you never got back to my dad like you said on the google reviews. Not surprising! When talked to Oshawa Kia they said the job should have at least been $400 less expensive. Thanks again Mark Szpara for your ability to make me never trust Brantford Kia again!

I would never come back here again. Your appointment time is only a check in time for qn oil change be prepared to wait here for hours. I went to the service desk to ask how this could be more efficient and Tyler said make your appointment at 8am. Also, I asked what is stopping anyone from going to a Jiffy Lube...Tyler said than go to Jiffy Lube. Really don't you want my business. He said we could drive you home but when I came in I asked the bigger guy and he said no this was already established that I was waiting. I also did not want to go to the mall. Tyler was not professional at all. He was actually quite mean. As a woman I will never come here again. Tyler definitely needs needs more customer service training. I know the surveys they said after are for bonuses and awards. Good luck if you have a guy like Tyler working there. I can go to Port Dover or Tilsonburg or Hamilton...but I chose Brantford. Sold us a vehicle certified with 30 day warranty. ON 7th DAY vehicle caught fire under the hood. Dealership was originally apologetic, insisting we tow the vehicle back to them, saying "We will take care of you" 3 days later, Mark Szpara phones and actually CHUCKLED, LAUGHING on the phone saying "Oh it was a fire alright" (How unprofessional in such a dangerous situation that put numerous lives at risk!) He then abruptly says "It's an Insurance Matter" (No more "They'll take care of us" and honor their warranty). We later learned we should have NEVER been told by Brantford Kia to tow the vehicle back to them in the first place (They would have known Fire goes through Insurance)….So Brantford Kia had the Vehicle in their possession for 3 days before Insurance Appraiser went to look at it. Insurance Appraiser could not find cause of fire (How Coincidental since Brantford Kia had it in their possession/access to it all those days!--Covering their Mechanics Negligence!) We Are Lucky To Be Alive!!!

I have been a customer at Brantford Kia for 5-6 years. I have bought 2 new Vehicles from the dealership. I have had my car serviced there all that time with good results. When I bought my last car from the time I did a test drive until the deal was signed the sales person was good to deal with and a very polite and professional. The service dept. is also very helpful getting you in for service and again very polite, helpful and arranging a ride if needed. They always explain the work being done and approx. cost. I have found all the staff polite, professional and always willing to assist. I would recommend this dealership if you were buying a vehicle. If all customers are treated as well as we have it would be a good decision.
Brought my Carnival in unscheduled for a small issue and was taken care of immediately. They were also able to get me right in for an oil change and tire rotation. In and out in about 90 minutes. Fantastic!

Have to first admit I have never been to Brantford Kia, but I simply love all the videos from Peter. He is very well educated and teaches a lot of technology and answers questions about Kia even if you aren't even in the same country. His videos are wonderful especially the ones where he compares vehicles. Please keep these up, they are great forms of education and prefer them.
Absolutely the worst experience with customer service. We purchased a 2017 Kia Sorento brand new and found that it would occasionally not start, for no apparent reason, then up to 3 hours later would spontaneously start up on it's own. Very strange, and dangerous to have a car start on its own when unoccupied. We have had it in to the dealership many times but they insist there is nothing wrong. This problem is now occurring more frequently and is very unsafe. We recently had it in to the Brantford dealership and were told yet again they can't find anything wrong. I should mention our vehicle is still under extended warranty. The manager became upset when my husband made some suggestions as to what it could be- key fob, starter - as they seemed unwilling to try anything. Now we have been told not to bring our vehicle back. In the last few days through social media, I have heard many similar stories about Brantford Kia's lack of professional customer service and their mechanics inability to correctly service their vehicles. We have always owned Hondas but decided to give Kia a try - we are seriously regretting this decision. The owner of Brantford Kia should be ashamed. To the owner - nobody cursed anyone out, certainly not me and no one was verbally abused or bullied , your are being ridiculous. Also, we have witnesses. Your manager did not like the fact that it was pointed out no one seemed to care that we have had this problem for 3 years and nothing has been done to rectify it. Also, he was very upset when told that the tow truck driver offered suggestions as to what could be wrong. Perhaps he is in the wrong profession if he doesn't know how to handle customers - I do believe that is his job? All we wanted was for them to try something instead of continuing to brush us off. We have heard many, MANY stories from people who have had a similar experience at your dealership. You do not stand behind your merchandise and that is shameful. We are happy to move on elsewhere as clearly your employees are inept at their job and that is a reflection on you as the owner.

Purchased 2019 kia optima lx+. Transaction was great. Love the car. Only issue was after signing on a Tuesday I left salesman an email inquiring as to whether vehicle had sirius. I never received a response an didnt know until Saturday when I picked up car it did not have it. Reason I emailed was all our previous dialogue came via email so I dont understand why I never response in 3 days. Love the car. Thanks

I've had 2 experiences with this dealership. The 1st time my sun roof got stuck and they lubed it and got it closed. They didn't charge me which was so thoughtful. The 2nd time my car got vandalized and it got towed to the shop. It was over the holidays so it was stressful for me. They were great except they told me I had to originally pay out of pocket and get reimbursed by insurance. When I picked up my car the cashier said that insurance should cover and I just needed to pay the deductible. It was a relief but it was added stress that I didn't need during an already stressful situation. Good guys and helpful service.

Friendly staff, non commissioned sales people and a great product. They worked hard to make sure I got the vehicle I needed and bent over backwards to meet my timeline. The parts department patiently worked with me to find the roof rack I needed. The sales staff even offered to help me deliver my now off the road VW TDI back to the VW for the buyback. After making the decision to abandon my long relationship with VW, I went to every car dealership in Brantford, I had never considered a Kia, I saw them popping up with high ratings when researching other cars I was considering. The sales person had a guide book that clearly showed exactly what each model had vs the others. The options on the base model cars compare to the top of the line on some other brands. In the end you will get the car you want, not the car a slimy sales guy wants to sell you. If the cookie jar is empty, Christina will offer to get you one out of storage.
My latest service call at KIA couldn't have been handled by truer professionals. Even in these trying times, I walked out of there with a smile.

I made an appointment for 9:30 Saturday. They emailed me Friday to confirm the 9:3 appointment. I arrived at 9:20 on Saturday. I waited in the waiting area. At 10:30 I saw my car being driven into the service bay. I am new to brantford love everything about the place. EXCEPT BRANTFORD KIA. It has been many years since I have been treated like a piece of you know what. When WE AGRE TO AN APPOINTMENT TIME IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF BOTH PARTIES TO RESPECT THE AGREEMENT.
My car had a recall. They did the service in a timely manner and washed the car. I'm only giving 3 stars because the person who washed my car threw out a receipt in my cupholder and now I cannot return what I needed to return with the receipt. Very salty about this but life goes on I guess.

If you like 3 hour oil changes this is the service for you. Would never buy a KIA that requires you to get your car serviced at their official shop for the warranty costs 3 x as much and even an oil change is a 3 hour ordeal every time.

Went here with expectations of good service and came away very disappointed. Had to deal with Garth and Grant, two people that might as well sell cars because the world would have no use for them otherwise. I was talked down to, ignored and treated with disdain. I'm not sure they know much about the cars they sell either. Be warned that the positive Google reviews are written by people who work there.

Recently contacted service department for routine service; had put a lot of kilometres on my car due to a long road trip and needed a prompt oil change. Was given an appointment within 48 hours on the exact date I wanted (Saturday). Car was serviced immediately upon arrival and took less time than I expected. Free WIFI at the dealership was much appreciated. In and out in no time without wasting my Saturday. This was at the same dealership where I purchased the car and received an excellent deal at that time too.
I am in there every few months for regular maintenance due to constant travel. Customer service is always friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The service team at Brantford is amazing. I was dealing with an issue for over a month and my local Kia dealer was not able to diagnose the problem on two separate occasions. When my Soul acted up for the third time, I called Brantford and spoke with Daryl in service. He immediately put my mind at ease and even offered me a loaner vehicle, which from what I understand, is not typical. Within a couple of hours, they were able to figure out what was wrong and I am now up and running with what will hopefully be a reliable Kia Soul from this point forward.....thanks to the great team at Brantford Kia.

In 2017 with all the information consumers have at their fingertips....we were shocked at some of the 'old school' and 'high pressure' sales techniques we experienced at other dealerships (of various manufacturers). Our experience at Brantford KIA however was quite simply outstanding! We got good honest advice (that we vetted to be sure) and an excellent customer service experience in buying our new Optima. Everyone we dealt with exceeded expectations (which is ultimately why we bought here) but I have to make mention of Anna Do, our salesperson. I had seen Peter's excellent videos on YouTube about the Kia Telluride and I could tell that this dealership was an excellent one. After calling many other dealerships trying to get answers to the questions I had re the Telluride, and getting poor and sometimes dishonest information, I called Brantford Kia. They were able to answer all my questions with great professionalism and knowledge. They were friendly and helpful even though they knew I was calling from the States, and that they would not be able to sell a car to me. I would recommend them without hesitation. Great people!

I had my car in for service. They came to my house to pick it up, and dropped it back off . They did a complimentary wash and vacuum which left it spotless. I paid online and they texted me to keep me up to date as to what was happening and when it was complete. Best service ever. Didn't even have to leave the house. This was amazing.
Absolutely horrible experience with service department. Having issue with car, bring it to Brantford Kia. Was told that the timing cover was spewing oil and it had two bad tires. Was told the total bill would be over $2200 to have it fixed, plus taxes. Told them not to do any work on the car, until my dad went to check on it because I didn’t want to spend $2200 if I didn’t have to. My dad checked the oil levels and the drips, the car was NOT spewing oil as claimed by their service department. If it was leaking, the leak was so minor that despite a 2400km road trip the week after its last oil change, the oil was still full and clean. Was told it “needed” to be rebuilt and have all of the gaskets resealed, which another mechanic has now confirmed was a load of BS and a total money grab. Only thing they were honest about was the condition of one of the tires - but when I said I was going to take it elsewhere to buy tires (we get a discount because of quantity purchased) they REFUSED to return the car to us until they put the spare tire on... but then charges us nearly $80 to put the spare tire on!! Total bill was $162 despite telling them not to do any work when they quoted me $84 In diagnostics. I am absolutely appalled by the service here and will never, ever go back. Brantford Kia should be ashamed of themselves if this is how they treat their customers. I am so glad I got a second opinion, away from Brantford Kia, before spending $2200 on needless repairs.

I have never had a good experience with Kia Brantford. No one answers the phone at the service desk, nor do they return your call if you leave a message. If you have an appointment booked they are always late. I used the shuttle service once and the driver got lost looking for my home address. I booked an appointment for winter tires and they forgot to order them and installed a different make and model without my consent. I have had a couple simple customer service issues and have always been directed to call Kia Canada (good luck getting through).
The service advisors were very courteous and thorough in explaining what needed to be done to ensure that my vehicle was operating at peak performance and safe to ride the roadways… Thanks to the Kia family. Keep up the great work… Blessings.

KIA is a great place to have service done. They have a cozy waiting area with a tv and wi-fi, and a desk so that I get work done. I was able to make an appointment to have my car checked within two hours. There was another customer that had some major emergency service needed, and one of the mechanics had gone home ill. The customer service man was very helpful and kept me informed. Spent a lot of time talking with me about the service that my car would need, and worked with me about the costs. Great experience!!!!

Secondly, after concluding that I was speaking with Brantford Kia the team member transferred my call to the parts department where no one answerd with no option to leave a message. My husband was looking to purchase a Stinger so we initially went to Grimsby Kia as it is close to home and we had purchased my Rio from them back in 2015. We found out they were under new management with new staff and the experience was terrible. A friend recommended to try the Brantford location as he had recently had a great experience purchasing a Sorento. We dealt with Christina who was very friendly and laidback, no pushiness whatsoever. When it came to discussing the trade-in value, we received a good offer without having to negotiate a great deal. Very willing to make me the best pricing offers on additional services. Always accommodate me for my travel needs. Very friendly and polite.

Bought two new vehicles here in the last two years. Our second car has had some frustrating issues, this dealership is doing everything they can to get things fixed for us! Everyone has been so helpful and understanding even when we’ve expressed how frustrated we are. They’ve got lifetime customers from us!

I came here ,originally, looking for a used KIA vehicle for my daughter. I found the staff here friendly and helpful. We were greeted and offered a beverage promptly upon arrival which was really nice. Unfortunately, you didn't have many used vehicles at the time. We prefer to keep our business local and wished we could have bought here. As a result, we bought from the Upper James KIA in Hamilton. What a mistake! I was taken advantage of financially. The salesman seemed so willing and personable. I was mistaken to trust him. In my review of Kia Hamilton, I told them this is a lesson in why you should always be kind because you don't know what battles people are fighting in life. I was going through a tough time when I purchased the vehicle and I realize now how they took advantage of me. It says a lot about who they are as human beings. My daughter needed a newer, reliable vehicle at that time. We have learned a tough lesson. However, we brought the vehicle to Brantford KIA for service and we were very pleased. The staff were great! We are looking forward to having a happier experience with this dealership.

Excellent and friendly service. Covid protocols in place at reception. Car was ready early. I was very pleased that the car was sanitized after service. The only recommendation would be a car wash after service.

I purchased my Sorento in 2013 and traded in my vehicle at the time. The staff were amazing. Everything was effortless on my part. Everyone was very knowledgeable, and knew the exact vehicle that would meet our needs at the time. I also have been having my Sorento serviced at Brantford Kia religiously. The service staff is great, very accommodating for myself and my children. I never have an issue getting an appointment and my vehicle is serviced in good time :) HIGHLY recommend Brantford Kia!!! ALSO I LOVE MY SORENTO!! Best vehicle I have ever owned!!
This is my purchasing experience. First time Kia buyer. Test drove a Sorento at a Burlington area dealership, no one in my area had one. Tried to put a deal together but they would barely move the needle off MSRP after 2 hours of haggling and emails back and forth. I went to Brantford and walked right up to Tim Grosse, the GM, put a written offer in front of him and left within 15 minutes. He emailed me in 2 hours accepting the deal. Since then, Tim has kept me up to date and in further discussions I find him so sincere, knowledgeable and collaborative. I highly recommend going to Tim if you need a car (I understand he deals with other makes as well). If my delivery, servicing and ownership experiences go this well I will be thrilled!
