My car was fixed in great time and I was pleased to see they even washed my vehicle for me however when I scheduled my appointment for my diagnostic I was told nothing about where to go and who to talk to specifically upon arriving for my appointment, when I did arrive I was directed to go to the quick lube doors with my vehicle and enter the MIDDLE bay, so I pulled up to the middle door and waited, the first door opened but I didn’t want to drive in because I was told to enter the MIDDLE bay and talk to Tim. I waited at the middle door for a few minutes before somebody who wasn’t even working in the service bays told me I could go in the first door, when I entered I told him I had a diagnostic and he responded with “I know, I opened the door but you didn’t come in,” and he walked away before I could explain that I was told to go through the middle door and go into the middle bay. This upset me because I was never motioned to enter by anyone inside and as I mentioned I had been told to go through the MIDDLE door. Even though the service to my car was satisfactory , the customer service was not. Instead of apologizing for not ushering me in and showing me that I could come in the first door I was met with the above remark.

Not Good At All! They only get one star because you can't give less. we drive 4 hours with kids in tow to look at a vehicle. The vehicle is not road worthy. It shakes when you get up to 100 km/h. Why is it even listed for sale with this problem? We are told the problem will be fixed when the shop opens on Monday. We make the 4 hour drive back home. My husband goes back on Wednesday. Says its better but he thought it might be pulling to the right. Asks them to take a look, maybe rotate the tires. They tell him that they have done enough and they won't do any more. I call and speak to the sales manager who proceeds to yell at me over the phone. By the time we get the vehicle home the shake is back and there is now a loud clunking noise. I call the next day to have the problems addressed. I am told to bring it back to Brandon. I am told that they will not authorize another dealership to look at it because they will go on a shopping spree. If you had sold me a decent vehicle there should be nothing to worry about. I assume they don't want to pay for a tow, which is how I said that is the only way the vehicle will get back to brandon. They tell me to take it to the closest Chrysler dealership. There they find, broken tie-rod, back shocks are gone and the rear tires needed to be balanced. A week after that a transmission line needs replacing. The sales man that helped us was fine as was the financial guy. The managers on the other hand have no idea how to treat customer ans should seriously consider a change in career. I would never recommend them nor will I ever go back! Buyer Beware!!

His enthusiasm and fun personality made it easy for me to select the right Veh, for the right price. On pick up day, he took me around the State of the Art Dealership and introduce me to all the Dept Staff. He explained the Quick Lube Service. As well as the Courteous Wash Bay process. I felt I was part of a larger family, by the way and was introduce to Mr Murray, who had time to chat. I came into Brandon for an oil change and to do a few errands but the team gave me a poor job on my truck. There was oil on my hood and on my steering wheel, but that’s not all they pulled my cabin filter and now they got a leaf in the blower motor and they did not take it out. I told your service advisor Josey to update my address in the computer but she failed to do so, plus she doesn’t know how to spell my first name and it’s spelt wrong. Great dealership to buy from but the service needs to be more professional.

Not too happy with this car dealership at this time. Brought my vehicle (purchased new from Murray's) in to be serviced. The original issue was dealt with but when I picked up my vehicle, the running board and internal floor mat (driver's side) was all muddy and dirty. I brought the issue to the attention of the Customer Service Manager and she did nothing in my mind. I find this very irresponsible and not dealing with customers in an effective manner. I am not satisfied with the women at the service desk. I specifically asked if I would have to pay for my car’s heater to be looked at but not fixed unless someone notifies me first. The lady I dealt with said no you will not have to pay for anything. So I drop my car off the next day and then pick it up a couple hours later and I am charged $85 for someone to look at it. So if there is a charge for a mechanic to look at it then tell the customer that. Oh I am sooo mad!!

Came from Winnipeg to visit my daughter 30km South of Brandon. Went to move my Chev truck but it would not start or even turn over. After getting it towed to Murray Chevrolet I expected I would have to pick it up in a day or two. Darren, my Service Advisor, was great to deal with and said he would keep me appraised on progress. It was not too long before I got a call that it needed a starter replacement. I was able to pick up my truck before noon. Seeing as they did not get it until 9 AM I was amazed that they diagnosed and repaired my vehicle in that short time, and even washed it! Kudos to Darren and the rest of the team for getting me back on the road so fast. They sure brightened up what started out to be a dismal day!

I have very mixed reviews on Murray Chev Cadillac. Rick Q in the sales department is amazing. He does what he says he’s going to do, and always has your back. I have purchased several trucks from him, Rick knows his stuff. The biggest obstacle there is their service I simply cannot give them a low enough number. They cannot find their bottom with both hands. I have had more issues than I can discuss in this review, but the last one takes the cake. I booked my vehicle in for warranty work last week while getting an oil change. They called me the night before to make sure I was going to be at my appointment with them the next day…. Sounds great! I show up for my warranty work, get shuttled off to the mall, come back four hours later to find out my truck isn’t ready yet. Life happens… My salesman goes to check on the truck and that’s when things go terribly wrong, my parts were not in, and the communication breakdown caused me a total wasted day. No phone call earlier in the day, just my truck sitting in a corner of the body shop with a work order on it. I am not convinced that I would have gotten my truck that day if my salesman hadn’t gone out to see what the status was. I spoke with the GM, and I spoke with Mr. Murray himself, both great people. Their answer, we made a rookie mistake and it happened to you… again… Time means nothing to someone who still collects a pay cheque fighting battles with angry customers. I get to go back so that they can get it right, and I am going back so that they do, but my advice is to steer clear of service, they simply cannot get it right, time and time again. Their slogan “Our reputation is our guarantee” means nothing, you’re a gear in a large cog that is spinning out of control. Buy your vehicle there, but run hard and fast away from Service.

Was in Brandon working, broke a CV joint, brought it in to Murray’s. Service guy calls me and tells me his tech recommends changing the idler arm and pitman arm, I said that’s funny they were both replaced not even 20000 km’s ago. All of a sudden they were within spec and don’t worry about them! Do these people even check the GM website that lists all of the work done on your vehicle if done at a GM dealership! Maybe check before trying to scan someone!

I didn’t have a very good experience. Vehicle was involved in a flood in 2020. It sat on their lot /garage for almost 3 months. They finally released it to me 3 months later saying my vehicle was good to go, come to find out they hadn’t even cleaned the mud and sand out of one of the fans. Their receptionist was also rude and condescending. Terrible experience. The manager of the body shop seemed friendly and apologetic enough though, but whole experience was sour.

brand new camaro needs 2 rear tires due to alignment issues from the first 1000kms on vehicle it I'm at 17 thousand kms now and cords are almost showing on inside of tires on rear. they tell me alignment is good yet tires are done no tread on inside corners and i know i work in the trade, they tell me 4/32 tread life. yet wear bars are almost gone. not happy with after sales service. and i have the tire care plan yet they don't honor it, worst first new car experience will never buy another one from here.

I own a 2010 Equinox which recently had all four doors replaced due to rust damage at the bottom of each door. Previous rust problems with these same doors had been repaired first under warranty and again after a recall . I was very pleased that Murray's decided to replace the doors in a car that I have owned for more than 10 years. The damage was due entirely to a design problem by GM.

We had purchased a new vehicle thru this dealership . We had an autopac claim & needed body work done. We were initially told 3 to 4 business days, took 12 business days. We were told we could take our business elsewhere if we were unhappy. The paint work was not good. Went back & forth to a third party business that we a ceramic coating done on. We had a scratch on the back door that had not been present before. We were told by Sheridan an employee of the body shop that no more could be done , we could speak to the owner. He was unavailable as was the body shop manager. We never received any further communication to our inquiry. We would not recommend this body shop. Our sales person was fabulous, as was the business manager.

Had vehicle into Murray's for detailing. Purchased the ultimate top of the line package. On picking the vehicle up, I noted 20-30% of detailing either done poorly or not done. This was brought to the attention of the manager and he agreed with my assessment. With agreement, I accepted a discount which meet my satisfaction. I drive a cadillac so I sometimes don’t have a choice and need to go to Murray’s. Every time I’ve been disappointed. I made an appt to get two things fixed that was part of a recall. They had over a week notice. When I took my car in and later picked up when done, only one of the things had been corrected. The other wasn’t done bc they forgot to order the part needed so I had to make another appt. Which is what I was trying to avoid when I had made the appt to get both things done at the same time. Another time I was getting a door fixed and they ruined my locks. They superglued something together and my door was unable to open as a result. They obviously do not check their work. A different time they had worked on my car and did not let me know it was finished. Apparently it had been finished several hours earlier. When I went to pick it up it was sitting unlocked in their parking lot.. Would not recommend. I have more stories I could share..

When I booked this order I was told the job would be 4-6 hours I dropped my car off at 7:30 and that I had to work for the afternoon. I was assured my car would be ready for mid afternoon. When calling in to check I kept getting the voicemail system and didn't get a response to the text number either. My vehicle wasnt ready till after 4 and I had to call in to find out. I had asked for a ride but they didn't set that up for me either so I had to get a ride myself. When I asked why it took longer they said it was because it was waiting for a wash which I said not to bother with because I had to go to work. Also my new windshield was left dirty and streaked. If I had known my car wouldn't be ready I would have rebooked for another day

Thank you Brandon Murray Chevrolet . On my way home after 2 months working in Ontario. It is Thursday, tomorrow is Good Friday. Everything is closing for the weekend. My truck breaks down 60 km from Brandon, 3pm in the afternoon. I limped it to a truck shop who tells me it is # 2 injector is not working. I call Murray Chevrolet and talk to Ryan the shop foreman. Told him my daughter has been in the Vancouver Childrens Hospital since Dec. My wife is home this weekend only and I have to be there Monday to take care if my youngest child so wife can go back to children Hospital. We have exhausted all avenues for help. We got there at closing time. Best they can do is Monday. I was going to leave my truck and throw all my stuff in the other truck and somehow come back to pick my truck up later(we live in Kelowna BC). The Murray mechanic came out and asked if he could look at it. Told me he thought he could fix it. Took my truck in ( after they were closed) and 25 minutes later he brought my truck out fixed. Not only did they diagnose the problem immediately but they were bang on. Above and beyond. Had tears in my eyes from over whelming gratitude. I made it home Friday night after 32 hrs driving. Pretty pissed off an disappointed with the service here was looking to buy a newer vehicle an trade or sell our current vehicle an got told that our 2012 GMC terrain which just a new 90,000 km motor put in it is only worth $850 that's it after we just had $8,000 worth of parts all because of a cracked windshield an some minor dents in the front fenders that can be fixed(I'll get it fixed myself at a body shop) ya you just lost a potential customer an sale for a vehicle. We felt lied to an felt like we were being ripped off.

Unfortunately the last two trips for service have not gone well for us there. On the previous trip the length the vehicle was required was unacceptable for no repair being completed. This nearly caused an issue with picking kids up from school. This last trip was even worse and they had to give me a vehicle(half the size of what we currently drive) to pick up my family from 3 schools. I think that the booking appointment procedure needs to be revamped because currently timelines of service work are not being maintained, especially if estimating to a customer a time frame the vehicle would be ready by or if the customer is requesting the vehicle by a certain time. The cleanliness of the exterior of the vehicle after the last service appointment was disgraceful, no attempt was made to even give it a complimentary carwash. Just because I'm not driving a one or two year old vehicle, or leasing a new one every three of four years I should not feel like I am being treated differently. We have a son about to come into the driving world (wanting a car of his own someday) and these experiences have soured both him and us that dealerships are very trustworthy and helpful. Whether you're a corporation or if you'reJoe Shmoe off the street treat everyone with equality. When people spend money on a major investment, word of mouth goes a long way in the business reputation world.
