This year I harped on a Loyalty program that Honda used to brag about and having bought 4 or 5 brand new vehicles during those years I figured I should receive some of this loyalty discount that they brag about, It didn't happen. I should have gone else where but I loved my 2012 Van so much that I had a hard time leaving . I wasn't happy about it but I bought the 2018 anyway. Maybe next time ?.... overall I was impressed with the knowledge of the sales staff that I dealt with and the attention that I received.

Top products. Top people. Top business attitude, where customer service comes first. The auto dealership known as FORMAN HONDA has been win-win-win for me, for 34 years (incl. predecessor Tosch-McGill Honda). Actually, my older sister was a customer of ancient predecessor, (Aubrey) Frederickson Motors, formerly kitty-corner SW from Buck's Soda Fountain (Pizza Express,NW). But this is not a Karmann-Ghia story. This is a story of three Hondas. Once upon a time, cca.1984 I went up to Tosch-McGill Honda to ask some questions about fixing a friend's (neglected) 1976 Civic. I was acquainted with Doug (family friends). He introduced me to his Service Manager, one amicable Mr. Ken Cashin. I was likely something of a pest, but Ken was very patient. So, although I was no mechanic, I did become confident enough to buy that vehicle, and with a proper manual, slowly made it roadworthy, with parts and hints from Ken. Nothing fancy - just reliable - and that little 2-door (3-door,actually) was very reliable. So I became a fan of the manufacturer, too, as I began to learn more, and appreciate Honda's deserved reputation for quality, in general. As the wise (and the fortunate) often do, when Mr. Kent Forman took over the dealership, he kept Ken, among other knowledgeable staff. That continuity felt good, when I came back in, cca.1998, to buy a lovely little red 1989 Civic DX sedan. Gosh, I miss that car. Neither of those cars ever failed me, but I clenched my teeth and sold each. In 2014, I was excited to return, again; this time to purchase a 2011 Accord EX. Ken had by this time (mostly) retired, but .. Lo and Behold .. there was his son Mr. Shane Cashin, ready to sell me warranty enhancements. I will purchase that option, again, on my next Honda, Shane. Any car needs servicing, and that route kept me out from under the vehicle, in winter, and comfy in the waiting room, a couple of times. It is important to share, here, that I have never had the feeling one sometimes gets, when dealing in the world of real mechanics (beyond my skills), where service quotes don't "feel right". I trust these people. These people care. They have world-class products (some we can call Canadian!). Sometimes I install parts myself, but mostly, these days, I leave the real techy work to their very good shop, where the other feel-good comes from knowing such work has been done by proper Honda-trained professionals. So, congratulations to Kent Forman, who, like his Dad before him, runs a successful auto business, famous in the region, and .. "not that far from You". Also like father Barry, Kent has the music gene. I do like continuity. I also like to drive. Not hard & fast. But far. Pretty far & long. So, after yet another recent junket, today I've just come through another completely expectable wear&tear fix. Many people become emotionally attached to their car. Like a pet. Or .. more like .. a trusty steed. Needing to fix her was worrisome, and getting her better was so satisfying. We are back to normal, for good steady travel, I have no doubt. I have no doubt. Mark these words. Zero cognitive dissonance (no buyer's remorse). Thanks to a long list of people at FORMAN HONDA, and at Honda Canada, who have earned my trust, and best wishes for all. I'm sorry, but It won't be soon I come in again for parts and or service, because I drive the most reliable brand in Canada (and in the world), but when, like any car, mine needs therapy, I'll be there with a smile - and - it's so nice to know - so will you. It was a really bad experience. My sales person is Ray Yang cheating me. Here is the deal sheet. They charged me splashing guards without installing them. Also, he told me Forman Owner Comfort is mandatory(it is illegal to give customers that wrong information), but I find out it is optional afterwards! It seems all what he did is just want to bump up my total cost!!! I got refund for the splash guard, but the Forman Owner Comfort I will complaint with MMDA! Be aware, everyone, go through your deal sheet before signing anything please!!!

Ray Yang has gone above and beyond on several occasions to keep me an incredibly happy customer. I didnt plan on leaving a review because the service yesterday was done just as per expectation (well done but not speedy ...68minutes to do an oil change and a car wash and they didnt wash my wheels). But then i bump into Ray while i was waiting and we got to chatting about something i brought up to service about the GPS (it isnt a honda GPS, it is Garmin but its in a Honda sold vehicle which was my point). And while the guy at service gave me the whole print out on how to do the update (couple hours of time he admitted, which it was) and told me if he did it then he would have charged me $500 plus tax because "thats not their job" (absolutely correct. Wont fault them for that but wont praise them for anything either). Ray just went out of his way and did it himself as soon as he heard about it. If i buy another Honda i will be coming to see him. (Purchased my vehicle late last year and he still cares as if he hasnt made that sale yet) 2019 HR-V touring

We went in to purchase couple family cars that we liked in the lot, and we stood there for 20-30 minutes while all the salesperson were just walking around and staring at us. They walked right past us, but did not bother even telling us to wait or that someone will be right with us. The sign said “stay in the yellow line and someone will come greet you”. We did just that, and we felt nothing but embarrassment just standing there like fools waiting for someone to approach us. The worst Honda dealership I have been to is definitely Brandon, they should learn customer service skills before selling cars. Disappointed.

No problems dealing with Forman Honda at all. Everything was in place and ready when they said it would be. Took precautions in these crazy Covid times and made the sale go smoothly. Jody and Tyler were great to deal with.

Forman Honda staff have been professional and helpful. Though they have attempted to reassure me, I remain concerned about the cabin heat and elevating oil of my 2018 CRV. Until those issues have been resolved I will remain very concerned about my investment in this vehicle. Update Nov 30, 2020. Since my original review updates have been done that have improved my issues somewhat and the extended warranty does give me a measure of comfort. I remain impressed with Forman Hondas Service Dept. I would recommend Forman Honda Dealership if you are shopping for a Honda but research your purchase.
