I wouldn't give them even 1 star.But in order to leave my review I guess I have to give them that star which they dont deserve. Their Salereps are worst then used car sales guys.When asked about the breakdown on price they would give a high price without disclosing the MRSP and sales tax.And if you try to make an offer they would simply not make a counter offer but are open for a second offer.When compare them to another Dealership price they say they want to see a written estimate. On my second visit a day after when i arrived with a written estimate none of the Sales person was interested to talk and would act busy on their computer.I waited for about 15 minutes and left.Has anyone experienced going to a new car dealer and not been approached by sales people.I am in the market for a new VW but these guys are not worthy of anyone's business.

Just purchased a car from them today. I will recommend them to everyone I know and anyone looking for a vehicle. Noticed "Dealer of the Year" awards behind reception and I can see why. They gave us such a great price on our trade in there was no reason to haggle price. They also gave us the car with a full tank of gas never had that before. The person to talk to there is Greg. Picked up my car with scratched on my rear bumper. Service manager was completed useless when trying so solve the issue. I was unsure how to rate this dealership, but as someone that works in the industry, I was expecting a bit more. For some reason the people that we worked with had some communication issues. They refused to call. Emails only and did not follow up with any details before the delivery. We just received a random email telling us to come pick up the car. We asked repeatedly to please call and confirm delivery times as we are both professionals and have schedules to follow. There was an issue with winter tires as well, we purchased a CPO that was 2 years old and the ad showed a set of winters that came with it and they kind of put up a fuss about them. Usually most dealerships ask what we would like to do with the winter tires before delivery, but again, zero communication. The tires did not pass safety and they had no stem caps, I asked about them and they kind of mumbled on about something and did not do anything to fix this at the time. The tires were way older than 2 years, so obviously they were swapped, or at least did not communicate the tires that were coming with the car. We ended up driving back to get different tires put on, which was nice, but they were the cheapest tires in the market. The key fob had a bad battery and this was mentioned several times, even by the sales guy, and nothing was done, not even the second time coming back in. The tires they put on leaked and lost air, they offered to tow the vehicle (almost 2 hours away) we thought that was silly and we paid up to get it fixed at my dealership. There were some issues here and there and the process was really not smooth. It's a nice dealership with lots of fancy decorations, but the fit and finish of the process was sub par. I think they need to train their staff on proper communication and makes notes and follow through with what they say. We will give them 3 stars, because the car is nice and my wife loves it.

I diagnosed the issue with my car and asked to have new _____ installed a while ago. Was told I would have the diagnostic fee on top of that. What diagnostic fee? I asked for a new _____, not a diagnostic. I did the leg work and now I have to pay for it. Thank god they said that *before* I wasted my time dragging the car in. Gal on the phone didn't seem to know what a _____ was (or have any knowledge about vehicles). Left it for a week and installed the new _____ from partsource when I had the time. Works fine. Best Car Experience Bar none Had a great experience working with Marco on leasing a new Jetta. I told him I need something cheap as it was temporary and with no haggling and no hassle he gave me a dirt cheap price. His price was 23% cheaper than any one else there and trust me I looked around. On top of a great price it was a pleasure doing business with him and he was great to work with.... no pressure or confusion. When searching for my new car, I had reached out to this location, called ahead of time to confirm a specific used car was there. I had requested the representative please confirm it was there and I was driving 40 km to see it. Upon arrival, I was sat down and asked to wait, then told, the car is not there and had to go to another dealership. Even though they were very polite, it was frustrating. They didn’t seem to care. My feedback is simple, just take the extra moment on the phone to check, rather than just trying to get the client in the door.

Don't buy used here, they'll tell you anything to sell the car. Bought a used 2015 golf a year ago, noticed the brakes seized while test driving it, told me was going to be repaired prior to delivery. A year later and 4 services pass, they told me the brakes looked low. Took to Midas, saw the back brake wasn't worn at all. Avoid used cars and service here. Additional info: back passenger side caliper was seized since test drive of vehicle prior to purchase. Was confirmed and shown over weekend that caliper was not releasing brake from the rotor. Was not repaired as promised from the dealership. This same dealership promised windshield would be replaced prior to delivery, it was not. Had to wait for it to be repaired. Also did not know DEF fluid was needed in last service, had to be reminded after service was done.

The safety of this car exceeded it's word as we walked out of the accident (nothing broken at least), There is a reason it won safety award for 2017 :). I sent an e-mail to get a quote for an oil change, fuel filter change and transmission change. It's been days and I still have not received a response, I guess Bramgate is very busy and are no longer accepting new customers. Many of the other Volkswagen dealership got back to me within hours. I'm actually glad I found out early that Volkswagen Bramgate service department lacks communication instead of having my car stuck there. Unfortunately my review is not completely fair as I have never actually done service at this dealership however I have nothing else to review other then the lack of communication I have received so far. So if you are looking to get a quote from the service manager at this dealership I would say forget it.

I have owned 2 used Volkswagens before leasing a brand new golf, and never had a single issue, until they were 10+ years old. Now in the last year I've had 2 costly issues with the car. One was covered under warranty, as ALL of the valves for my air conditioning we're defective, but now I apparently have animals that are chewing all of my electrical wires. I drive my car daily, in the same area that I have lived with the past cars, so either they are making them cheaper, or it's all bull! I've reached out to terminate my lease, because I thought buying/leasing new would avoid all of these issues. This won't happen again!

Everything was great. Not my first experience at Bramgate. I traded two vehicles for a nice new Tiguan. Every part of the deal was five star. Then I went overdraft on my bank account. Turned out I was now paying for three cars. Turned out that VW Finance took three extra car payments out of my account before I had to put a stop payment on my account. It’s now been over three weeks and I still don’t have a refund. Nobody seems to be accountable. I have updated the review from a one star to a four star. It doesn't discount the initial problem with the financing, but I did have a good conversation with the sales manager and they also "made it up to me". They did their best to smooth things out and they did put in some different practices I believe. Prior to this, I always had a "5 star" experience with Bramgate. We are back to being friends again.

"Renewed Faith In Dealerships" One thing that has always made me apprehensive about dealerships is they tend to be very pushy and it is off-putting for anyone who may just have some questions about the car. I have been to other Volkswagen dealerships this month and was greeted with the question "How quickly could I get you in this car?" which is an immediate red flag to me and is the main reason I decided to return to Bramgate once I made a decision. I went into Bramgate looking for a new car just a few weeks ago and was greeted quite quickly from the moment I walked in - Andrew was incredibly helpful every step of the way and never made me feel pressured to make a decision for the sake of closing a deal quickly. I used to get my oil change done at the dealership, but not anymore. They are very slow and take 2 hours to get a simple thing done. To add to this, no one follows up on you while waiting for the 2 hours, to tell you the progress of your vehicle. If you decide to go for an oil change be prepared to wait for more than 2 hours.

I made a deal with a sales rep and manager and put a deposit on the car Saturday, came in Wednesday to finalize the paperwork, and then when I got there they tell me the car was sold FRIDAY?! Why the hell did you make a deal on a car that was ALREADY SOLD?! On top of that, I drove there all the way from SCARBOROUGH. Why wouldn’t they tell me that the car was sold before I wasted time driving all the way to Brampton from Scarborough?!?!? Totally UNRELIABLE and a WASTE OF TIME. Do not trust these guys!!!!

I had one of the worst experiences at this dealership. My main issue was with the sales associate Shaun D'Souza. He was very unprofessional and did not get back to me on time with anything that I asked him. I had left him numerous missed calls and text messages for updates regarding my car that was ordered but he left me waiting the majority of the time. I would recommend to speak to another sales associate other than him. I strongly recommend to take action and make sure your staff and companies reputation does not decrease because of your sales associates. On the morning of March 4 I brought my 2017 Golf R for a wheel alignment .I specified to the aftersales consultant not to wash the car. Went to pickup my car and to my horror my car was washed and completely destroyed It's now in the shop getting a paint correction in the amount of $1800 plus dollars I'm sharing this for the few people that take care of their cars to avoid taking their car there. It's quite apparent that they don't care about their customers cars. Had a chance to drive my car around a little bit and noticed my steering wheel is still not straight, so I can say that the workmanship there is horrible as well. March 8 no one from Brampton has reached out to me about what has happened, this is how you truly get treated If you have the opportunity to go to another VW dealership then I suggest you do. You have been warned, avoid this dealership.

My first car was a Volkswagen. It was a 2013, bought used in 2014, but supposedly driven by an employee of head office prior to that (according to the salesman). The car had nothing but problems. The A/C failed in May 2015, resulting in the need to take it in for a repair under warranty. The same year it had to go back in because the mechatronic unit failed, August 2015, again repaired under warranty. The parking brake cables had to be redone in April 2018, out of warranty. The power brake vacuum pump failed the same year and had to be replaced, July 2018. It was barely out of warranty. If you want an example of a GOOD dealer, how Belleville Volkswagen responded to this was fantastic. The owner told me that he felt the part failed far earlier than it should have, and advocated with customer care on my behalf for a courtesy discount and gave me 75% off the part. This without me ever complaining or asking -- he told me at the same time as he told me what the problem with the car turned out to be. It was fantastic service. Then in January 2020 I get a recall notice indicating that the software on my mechatronic was faulty. In February, the car started acting odd -- there were a couple times it couldn't switch into a higher gear while I was driving and I got stuck in neutral or 1st, but restarting the car solved it, so I chalked it up to a glitch. Then the mechatronic failed again, which I knew right away because I recognized the symptoms from when it happened in 2015. I took it to the dealership Bramgate Volkswagen to confirm this, and that told me I would have to replace it for $3070 plus taxes. Around the same time, I learned that there was a recall regarding faulty mechatronic units for my exact year and model car that had very recently been announced in Canada and the US, but the dealership insisted that based on my VIN my car was totally fine and not affected. This despite that I pointed out to them it was replaced once already in 2015. So I guess Volkswagen's position is it's completely normal to have to replace a $3000+ part of my automatic transmission system every 2-5 years? It should be no surprise I find it hard to believe there isn't a problem with the part and the recall doesn't include my vehicle. Or maybe I should say, it SHOULD include my vehicle. The dealership did nothing for me. Talking to Customer Care was frustrating, and involves a lot of promises to call back within 24-48 hours that don't happen. The end result? They told me the dealership said the part was broken, I couldn't possibly be part of the recall, and I had to pay over $3K. At best they did nothing to support me with customer care, at worst they advocated against me -- contrast this with the way Belleville treated me, and you get this 1-star review. I traded this lemon in for a Honda, and so far, couldn't be happier. I can't speak to how Bramgate deals with customers looking to buy, but I wouldn't recommend going to them for any kind of repair. I can't recommend purchasing a Volkswagen, either.

Brought my car in for VW corrosion claim. After the assessment, no one called me back. Call and followed up severally no one returned my calls. Physically went in after a year of no return calls and run around. I was told I had to start the process all over again. Requested to speak to a manager and we agreed the process would be expedited. Process was indeed expedited and i dropped the car off. Call back after a week saying car was ready. See attached pictures of the "fixed" car. After a battle of almost 8 weeks Bramgate "fixed" the hole which they created during the process of doing warranty repairs with body filler. The so called "fix" is starting to show signs of rust again within 3months of the "fix". The hood of the same vehicle was originally painted and replaced under warranty by Bramgate. The hood rusted out within 2 years and was replaced a second time as part of this fix. As result of the car sitting at Bramgate for 8 weeks, the calipers on the vehicle were all siezed and all had to be replaced. The alternator also had to be replaced because the pulley seized up from not running for 2 months. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle elsewhere and NOT to Bramgate VW.
