The only good thing about Wheaton is the sales department since I know 2 guys there, the service department is terrible, I’ve never had good luck with them fixing any of our vehicles. Parts department is probably the worst thing there to deal with, if you call after 5pm they never answer the phone, and sometimes when you go there in person there’s no one at the counter to help you. Had a vehicle in there getting fixed for 10 days since they couldn’t get the parts and neither GMC or Wheaton offered to I’ve me a courtesy vehicle or anything. Also the quality of GM vehicles has gotten a lot worse the last few years, most people I know have numerous problems with them, including mine. This will be the last GM vehicle I own.

Wheaton quiklube service is great. Prices are at least equal if not better than other oil change services in Saskatoon. It took me ten minutes to get an oil change and it wasnt a constant push to replace air filters cabin filters do transmission flush or whatever else. They checked everything and told me everything looks good and sent me on my way. Great job

They did an amazing job on color matching the bumper which was way better than factory. The staff are great to deal with and the workmanship was top notch. My wife and I are looking for a new pickup. We went to Wheaton on Saturday to check out the GMC trucks as we both like the look of them. A salesman approached us as we were looking at a GMC Colorado and basically blew us off completely. I'd give his name but he didn't bother to give us his name. Nor did he ask us what our names were - he just told us they only had two Colorado pickups on the lot, a very base one and a very expensive one and none in between. He didn't bother to ask if we were interested in a full size GMC Sierra - which is what we were really interested in. He didn't ask if we had a trade. He didn't attempt to qualify us as customers but I suspect that he made some assumptions about whether we were *tire kickers* who are there to waste his valuable time or legitimate buyers. Had he taken the time to get to know us, he would have learned we are very seriously looking at a pickup and that we'd driven an F150 and a Ram 1500. So ... completely blown off by a salesman - he looked like he'd been selling for a lot of years. A good salesman will actually qualify their customers and get a selection. They will do everything possible to get a buyer into a vehicle and on a test drive and then to their desk to assess their trade. He will ask for the business that day and he will try to close them ... that day. I know this because I teach commissioned sales for a living. I won't be buying from Wheaton GMC in Saskatoon because of this crummy experience.

I have never experienced such rude service staff! I thought the first 2 times were bad but this time it was so infuriating. How they can be allowed by management to get away with their seriously inappropriate "customer service " is beyond me. They make mistakes and are rude when you question them. First visit I had booked in for oil and tire change. Tires were in the back of the car I collected it only to find the next day the same tires were still on the car and the winter ones still in the back! Second visit couldn't find my car or my name for 15 minutes Third visit when I questioned why my car was not running right after recent engine work was told well we can't find anything wrong with it but it's your money I can keep looking as long as you like! Absolutely worst place ever!

Emailed an offer on a Camry XSE and was accepted then 20 min later was emailed asked to be there in 5min or the car will be sold. I lived 25 drive away and was coming in a hour or so to buy the car. The car salesmen was Mecheal Doell. How can I rush be there in 5min said car will be sold if I don't hurry fast. What kind of business practice is this! I went to SMP and got a nice vehicle and a good price and gave me a nice gift prize when I left. I drive by today and that car camry was still parked there SMH I was on my way to make the deal too but 5min hurry up thats no way to talk to a customer who making a big expensive purchase. Give this salesperson proper training please.

I have an elderly friend that has been taking his Traverse to Wheaton for many years. A short time ago Wheaton removed the engine to replace the timing chain. My friend asked them to replace the oil pan gasket while they had the engine out because it was leaking (since the engine has to be removed to replace the oil pan gasket) they said they would, BUT . . . they forgot! They did apologize, though! That was nice! Now, yesterday he was having regular maintenance and an oil change and he asked them how much to replace his worn out remote fob. They quoted him between $70 & $80. He said to go ahead and replace it. When he went to pick up his Traverse later in the day, he was given a bill that included almost $300 for the fob replacement alone. $114.95 for the fob, and $172.86 for programming it (which was never mentioned when he asked how much a new fob would cost). And if you want a real good laugh, just google how to program a remote for a 2010 Traverse and watch the 1½ minute video on to do it yourself; but then again who wants to waste 2 or 3 minutes of your day doing such a menial task when you can pay someone else $172 to do it for you. And to rub salt into the whole situation, they reminded him that his oil pan was leaking and he needed to have the gasket replaced. Hahahaha! .....This is being added 6 hours after the initial review posted above. My friend just called me and said that Wheaton made things right regarding the price for the fob. He said he is pleased with their response and apology for the misunderstanding. They acknowledged that he should have been told in advance about the programming charge and provided him with a reasonable refund. Every business makes mistakes, but it is how they respond to those mistakes that elevates the good ones above the rest. That being said, this review has gone from a 2 star to a 4 star. It would have been a 5 star review if it had not taken a 2 star review to get them to make things right. Oh well, maybe next time.

Please watch for the parts delivery driver. Two separate times while I was walking downtown on my coffee break I was almost hit by the driver. The first time it happened I was alone and just barely missed while I was walking across 1st Ave halfway while having the walk light. Second time walking with a co-worker on 2nd ave when we received the walk light just about to step off the curb when the same Wheaton truck with the same driver again not paying attention to pedestrians, rolled up and proceeded without looking. After the first incident took place I reached out to the general manager to advise what occurred and he was great to me. Second time I didn't pursue. After the first incident took place I make sure to bring a coworker with me just in case because you know know what can happen. I'd like to safely return to my family at the end of my work day.

We were quoted $450 plus tax for a car repair. When picked up our their an extra $43.50 added on before tax that was labeled as an "environmental fee". So I asked about it. Was it a new government-mandated fee? No, it was a new charge that "all" the car dealers were charging. Amend: After my original review they have agreed to refund the remainder of this fee, and to better brief customers in advance on this fee.

Bought a used truck from Wheaton recently. Was a great experience buying from used vehicle salesman, Myron. We were very interested in the truck (we had been looking for some time for that make/model/trim level). Myron drove the truck to our home to ensure we could look at it and test drive before any other potential customer came onto the lot. There was some rusting on the body which Myron and his auto body team sanded and repainted, with no additional cost to us. They were very accommodating and the auto body work was well done. We are very satisfied with the purchase and our experience with Wheaton! Would recommend them to anyone.

They are generally very nice. The service department used to be slow, especially when processing warranty claims (they would give you an appointment for at least two weeks later) but it has improved greatly in the recent years. The drivers are on time and courteous. I once dealt with the body shop, no complaints there either. So, all in all, my experience with them is positive.

I have had to deal with Wheaton GMC quite a few times now and every time I have been extremely disappointed with their service. I'm writing this review today because they have yet again failed to provide anything close to good service. After getting a recall notice for my car, I booked an appointment online with them specifically stating the reason as this particular recall. Once I arrived for my appointment they informed me that they didn't order the part for this recall and it would be another 10-12 business days. I hadn't heard from them for 10-12 business days so I called again to check the status of the order. They informed me it was on it's way and should arrive in the next week. I again did not hear back from them that week so I called AGAIN and was informed that the part hadn't even been ordered. During this time (over a month), I have not been able to have anyone in the passenger seat of my vehicle due to the potential risk from this recall. I am extremely disappointed in the service at this place of business and would not recommended it to anyone. UPDATE: After receiving my complaints, GM was very responsive and made sure my part was in within 2 days. They definitely made the effort to improve their customer service and I really appreciate their initiative.

I Have nothing but great things to day about my experience. After visiting a few used sale lots I walked into Wheaton GMC's used show room and met Devan Morgan. After the day I had had at that point he was such a blessing! They valued my trade in less than 15 minutes, while Devan figured out exactly what I wanted and over the course of 2 days he put up with my questions, my text message my husband and my kids (switching car seats in and out of vehicles so I could test drive) and ultimately he found me the vehicle I needed! I have a new 2015 duramax. Took it there to get the oil changed and an oil leak repaired (yes...an oil leak on a new $80,000 truck...but that's a story for another day!). They did the oil change but put in unapproved oil (non-dexos2 certified 15w40). Also, they couldn't find any leaks...??...what? I have a 10" round oil patch on my driveway and pictures of it physically dripping from the back of the engine! Oh...and that oil change? As expected, when it turned -30 out...truck wouldn't start, even plugged in. And they left a nice greasy stain on my seat (and the plastic seat cover was thrown on the floor). I'm done with GM's substandard vehicles and this dealer's crummy service.

Quick Lube experience is good. A little bit "pushy" on the extra "service promo of the month" (this month it was wheel alignments), but otherwise just suggested replacing the cabin air filter that was over and above the oil change. My husband and I ordered a new vehicle from Myron Knihnitski and because of the Covid 19 situation, the vehicle was not delivered until six months later.( I must confirm that this was of no fault of Myron's nor Wheaton GM). Throughout the entire process, from the choosing of the vehicle to the actual delivery , Myron was a very patient man! He kept us updated with the progress of the build of the vehicle to the anticipated delivery date. On delivery, he walked us through the all the bells and whistles of the vehicle, checked to make sure we had all our questions answered and that we had no concerns about using it. I purchased a used Chevrolet vehicle from a local Saskatoon used car lot and contacted Darren at Wheaton to arrange for an inspection. Darren was five staff short for the long weekend Friday, but worked it out so that he could fit the truck. This was important as I was flying from Calgary to Saskatoon that day to possibly purchase the truck. Darren and his team in the service department conducted a thorough inspection of the vehicle. Because the inspection required the tires to be removed, Darren went out of his way to rotate them for me, at only the original cost of the inspection, which was priced very reasonably. Darren called me personally to explain the results of the inspection and sent me a copy as well. I purchased the vehicle with peace of mind based on this inspection. It is truly rare to see someone go out of their way as Darren did for so little personal gain. I applaud Darren for his efforts and only wish that he would come and work for a GMC dealership in Calgary so that I could continue to bring my vehicle to him!

Brought in 2015 yukon in for a new windshield. Noticed that HUD was blurry when we it up. Was worried that I would be stuck with a dud windshield. Shop manager Darren took for a test drive and said “sorry for the inconvenience” we will call when your new windshield arrives. Best service I have ever received. My Experience with Wheaton GM was nothing short of THE BEST! I decided on looking into upgrading into a newer and bigger SUV, and after going to a few other Dealerships in the city, (some of which were the worst experiences of my life!) I decided to go to Wheaton. I have never been there but they had a large selection of used vehicles of the particular one I was looking at (GMC Terrain SLT). So I sent an email indicating I would be coming in that night to look, within the hour I had a reply back from Levon Miller (Used Sales Specialist) asking what particular units on the lot I was interested in... I sent at least 7 back. I went in that night like I said and was warmly greeted. We Sat down to discuss the vehicle, my trade in, what I was wanting and a price range I would feel comfortable with. I also told him about the experiences in the other dealerships...... How the General Manager first tried to use intimidation on me to run my credit for a pre approval, when I specifically said I am not interested in running the exact numbers until I am 100% sold on the vehicle and happy with the price. I've worked in the car industry and know what they can and cant do. And specifically when that same General Manager of the Dealership breaches the privacy act and calls your bank on behalf of you when they have not been given any authorization from me..... Is a place I will not return to again. Back to Wheaton.... Levon heard my story and understood. He Went through his list of vehicles and what he thought would be best based on cost, KM, year of the vehicle. He Specifically had two in mind, both in immaculate condition and low KM's. As soon and I saw the SLT Model with the year and the km's I was interested. This was the Thursday night, so the numbers were a little higher than I would have liked he was going to talk to his manager in the morning and get back to me to see how I felt, and if I was very interested I would be able to put a deposit on the vehicle so that I could bring my boyfriend in that weekend to see what he thought about it and go from there. Well he worked his magic and gave me a number that was originally higher than what I wanted to be spending, but because this vehicle was in such great condition and had everything, I mean everything I could have asked to upgrade to (Leather, Sunroof, command start, truck assistance, 18" rims and tires with good tread, it goes on).... I was willing to spend the extra money. I put the deposit down before noon. I Came in on the Saturday, The vehicle was all cleaned up and ready for me to take out for a nice test drive again. To say the least.... it was still everything I wanted. Moving forward to finance, Robin..... Amazing, so friendly and helpful. Wheaton gave me a fair price for my trade in, which the other dealerships were lower on that. I purchased and took the vehicle that day. Everyone in that dealership was so nice and friendly to deal with, The new car sales manager, even though wasn't involved in the sale, greeted us and chatted, and was congratulating me on the new wheels. There was one small dent that I was going to have to bring the vehicle back in to have fixed. I dropped the vehicle off after work, I was given a Beautiful Loaner vehicle..... not some uber tiny car. And the used car sales manager Devin was yet again another employee who was just so friendly about everything. I picked my vehicle up yesterday and everything is perfect. I highly recommend anyone shopping new or used to go to Wheaton GM in Saskatoon. I know I will be a long time customer.

I recently bought a 2018 GMC Sierra, and I have to say the service was no less then amazing. I gave them a crazy time limit and they met it. I walked in with an old truck and before I knew it I was driving away in a brand new 1500 Sierra. They were all super professional and helpful. One day after I had the truck I realized that the AC did not work. By no means was this their fault as they eventually found that most 2018 sierras had this from factory. All it is is a bad crimp. They responded very well as I was still on a time crunch. They went so far as to make a special order and put the part that I needed on a plane and get it to me the next day. These guys really take pride in their work and it shows. I would not hesitate in recommending Wheaton GMC to anyone. I lost my truck keys and fob. Towed my truck to Don Wheaton. Initially they told me the truck locks had all been replaced and there was no mathching VIN #. It would cost around $700 to set up. I told them I'd look around at pricing and get back to them the following day. Next day I get a call from the dealership saying they have it fixed, two working keys and a fob for $320.11. Great, its expensive, but I'm an ass for losing my keys right? So I get to the dealership to pick up my truck and they tell me they can't get it to start and they need to order a theft module from Edmonton. The store was about to close so I tell them I'll call tomorrow. The following day the dealership phones me saying they have got it started without needing a new module but parts and labour so far is going to cost another $337.38. I just paid $723.21 for two keys and a fob. I recommend Don Wheaton GMC Buick Cadillac if you like being taken advantage of. Terrible experience.

Brought my 2015 GMC Denali in for a clunk condition. Road tested with the shop foreman and easily duplicated my concern. Every time the vehicle comes to a stop or takes off. Was charged $90 to tell me it was just my aftermarket exhaust system hitting the frame. Upon taking the vehicle to a none GM dealership "that was still under factory warranty 34,000kms". They found that the transmission rubber mount to crossmember was missing the nuts? Didn't charge me a thing as they found it as soon as they lifted it on the hoist. How was this not found during my $90 warranty inspection? Again that I paid for. Nevermind the fact that they fell off in the first place on a $80,000 vehicle.

WARRANTY EXPERIENCE FROM H-E-double hockey sticks !!! Passing through Toon town I swung through Wheaton's lot and spotted a beautiful used Yukon. The salesman was very helpful with my situation and we quickly made a trade. I was back on the road in a flash. Just months before warranty was up the transmission failed. Living in the north my gm dealership options are slim. The nearest dealership meant a flat deck tow truck and phone calls to a shop hours away. The warranty only covered the tow to the nearest dealer within 300km and I thought that was fine. BOY was I Wrong!!! They were quick to deny me warranty because of improper maintenance, but a suggested maintenance, not an actual recommended one. The manual said 160,000km but according to them I should have had the transmission serviced by 80,000km! While trying to cope with a sudden $5000 bill that should rightfully be a warranty item I decided to phone Wheaton GM and rip a strip off somebody. There was no need, who ever I talked to heard me out and took my information for the other dealership. Within days I received a phone call that my Yukon would be ready for pickup. When I arrived to get my truck they slapped a $200 starter bill at me but the transmission was fully covered. I requested the old starter and he charged me another $40. He said it was a core charge. I took the starter to the nearest parts store equipped with the tester to print out test results and it passed with flying colors. I am heading back to the city next week on business and will stop by Wheaton GM to get my winter servicing and a few other minor issues dealt with while knowing my truck will be tip top and ready to go back up north for another year. Its a 600km drive for me to get the level of service Wheaton provides and its worth it. Since I stumbled across that lot just off circle drive, 3 of my friends have started scheduling their maintenance with them and are just as satisfied as I am. Keep up the great work guys or I will be back on here cursing and swearing!! LOL

Very shady the way this dealership operates. I came in with my vehicle a couple days ago for a trade in and they offered me a really high price. I knew something was up. They jacked up the price of the other vehicle and tried to add on a bunch of fees. I then sold my truck privately and came in with cash and they wanted nothing to do with me. I ended up getting a way better deal from Saskatoon Motor Products. Bunch of crooks all around following the same system. Beware! Not even the General Managers here will help you out. There all shady guys.

My husband went to Wheaton GMC shop for an oil change. He is not usually going on this shop but he said to me. "I will try because my car is GMC Terrain. It is their cars brand." After an oil change, maybe few or more days, something went wrong with the car. Suddenly its stop on running. Today, my husband went back to this shop Wheaton GMC to bring his concern about what was happening to his car. The guy who helped him said, "I don't know what you're talking about. I never heard that before." Is that how you approached to your customer who had concerned about what was happened to his car? Isn't it he should be saying is, "Oh sorry Sir for what was happened to your car. Thank you for bringing up your concern. Where's the car? But no, you refused right away without even looking at it. My husband's car is perfectly running until he bring that car to your Wheaton GMC shop for an oil change. Edit: The General Manager of Wheaton called me today. We had a nice chat and I am confident he understood the seriousness of my concerns. He said he will discuss them with the staff and they will make important changes so this doesn't happen to anyone else. Thank you! I took my car in to Wheaton because my steering wheel was shaking so I thought I needed a wheel alignment. The service advisor did a quick inspection and mentioned I would need tires in the near future, the current issue was with the drivers side tires and he mentioned I could possibly resell my passenger side tires. I was told my car was still safe to drive on. I mentioned I had a highway drive as well as a grid road to get to my destination and again I was told it would be fine. So I continued on my way and did my highway trip with my family in the vehicle and I got a second opinion from a different shop 2 days later. The other shop called me within 10 mins of me dropping my car off to inform me that my front passenger side tire looked like it was ready to explode and the other tires were needed ASAP! Upon calling the service manager at Wheaton to express my concerns I was told that they should have infact put my car on the hoist to look at so he knew there was a mistake on his staffs part there. The service manager also informed me that the service advisor had mentioned the issue with my front passenger tire to me, which was not true. I played phone tag with the service manager for almost 2 weeks after requesting he review the notes from my inspection that took place 6 weeks before this and the answer I got repeatedly was "I haven't got to it yet" so I called back yet again and requested a copy of the inspection notes that I should have been given after the inspection and surprise, they made notes about my tires on there but for some reason didn't tell me about it. Not only did they put my life in danger by this mistake but there was a lot of misinformation along the way. I will definitely be looking for a new shop to take care of my vehicle needs from here on out!

Once again, we had no hesitation in visiting Wheaton GMC, in particular Myron And Kelly Knihnitski, when looking for a newer car. This was our second purchase from Wheaton GMC and we would go nowhere else. The quality of service from start to finish was outstanding. We visited on the coldest day in Saskatoon, probably not the best of ideas to do, but Myron did an outstanding job and looked after us as we expected, having dealt with him once before. He found us the most perfect car and now after having her (Yes, I called her a her and she is named "Moondance!") for just over two weeks, we have absolutely zero "buyers regrets." Kelly took great care of us with the financial side, just as she done previously, with our first car purchased from Wheaton GMC and we can't thank her enough for her service, as we quite literally left it all in her most capable hands to get us the best deal going! Wheaton GMC you have two of the very best customer service personnel in Myron and Kelly Knihnitski! We will continue to be your customers and highly recommend you to our family and friends.

UPDATE: Sales Manager Devin contacted us promptly and immediately fixed the problem. He was very kind and helpful! We had a wonderful experience at Wheaton, probably the best we have ever had. Mike Fishburn was lovely to deal with and Kelly in finance was fantastic as well. The only hiccup we had was that we asked before purchasing our vehicle if it came with 2 keys and we were told that even if it comes in with one key that it goes out with 2. On delivery it only came with one key. When we asked about it, we were told that we would have to just go through a Dodge dealer to get the second. That will result in about a $350 key and programming bill to be paid out of pocket. We would still recommend them to anyone as they were fantastic to deal with otherwise.

Purchased my new Denali 1500 from Rick Stolz and it was a great experience . No pressure honest guy with great sense of humour . He walked me threw every step and went threw every option with me on my new vehicle and never rushed me . My service did not stop after the sale . I've had horrible experiences with other dealerships in the past that ended in legal mediation and have a hard time trusting anyone with my vehicle since the last couple resulting in non-drivable vehicle, or just chipping the windshield, or breaking other parts.
