The WORST!! I purchased a used 2009 Kia Sportage before I left for a week long holiday. I ordered a hitch, roof rack and diamond coat. Came back and had a call that the vehicle was done. Went to go get it and the roof rack had been installed and nothing else. They had it for another day after that. Picked it up and my vehicle was sputtering and trying to stay running, took it in, they said they fixed the misfire. Started doing the same thing and took it in again and found out that when the tech was washing the vehicle, they got water in the engine and spark plugs and so now my fuses were fried. Ever since, when it rains or my vehicle comes into contact with moisture it sputters like it did when it first started. I've had nothing but problems with it, something is always "going" on the vehicle ALWAYS. I've replaced the "new" battery, my remote start doesn't work anymore, replaced steering line, the shocks are now leaking, and the belt is screeching....it's falling apart. Their solution to all of this was to have me trade it in and get another vehicle from them....except that would have cost me even more money. So...my recommendation. Stay FAR AWAY!!

While I love my 2013 Rio Hatchback and it's a great car, the service department at Kia of Saskatoon is deplorable. A few years back I received nothing but great service on my 2004 Magentis, but in the last 2 years or so, management must have changed because the service department is anything but service. Last summer my sister got charged nearly $300 for an oil change and tire change and when she challenged them on the arbitrary numbers they entered, they had no explanation for it and credited her $20 back. Two weeks prior to that I had the exact same service done and it was $120. We have no idea to this day why her bill was more than double mine. We've even contacted the store manager as well as head office and have never heard back. I've also been dealing with a more tire nonsense in the past 3 weeks. It has taken me numerous phone calls, 4 appointments, and many many service advisors just to figure out where my summer tires were. I went in twice with my car and was told my tires were there, only to have an advisor come out 45 minutes later to tell me they couldn't find my tires and I'd have to come back - again! I've known 3 people buying new cars in the last few months and I have told them all to stay far away from Kia of Saskatoon. I hope Kia realizes that their service department is costing them new customers.

I purchased a vehicle a few years ago , overpriced , as is true with most dealerships - however 1 1/2 months after I bought it I had a 800.00 repair only to have to return a couple days later , the vehicle not having been repaired properly or completely , had to pay another 600.00 then a few months later I had a 1400.00 repair bill. On top of that they didn't call me when they said they would and I often had to call them to check in. Unbelievably I actually purchased a warranty but they claimed the issues were not covered under it . I'm sure they new there were problems and sold me a crappy car because I'm a woman. I was so relieved when I could qualify for a newer car and could be rid of these people once and for all. Do your self a favour , save your money and a headache - go somewhere else .

My wife and I spent the last month car shopping, not the funnest thing to do with all the pushy high pressure car sales people out there and the gimmicks and fancy tricks they use. We are car shopping not looking for a trip to Vegas or a 50" tv. We want the best bang for our buck. After looking at close to 30 vehicles we found something of real interest at Kia. We made the appointment and the drive into Saskatoon. Kia set us up with Amy Smith. The first thing that caught us totally of guard was the lack of pressure from her, She asked us our budget and then came in on the low side of the budget totally something we didn't expect. She actually listened to our needs and showed us a few options that fit. We went for a test drive and Amy put us at ease, we talked and laughed and for a few minutes, totally forgot that we were car shopping. When we got back to the dealership Amy showed us the "numbers" the actual numbers with no surprises, she went over them in detail, full disclosure. I couldn't believe it. My wife and I glanced back and forth at each other suspiciously expecting some hidden surprise, nothing. Then Amy sweetened the pot, she showed us a brand new Kia, offered us 0% financing and showed us how the numbers fit our budget and again full disclosure. When she showed us the fully loaded Kia Sorento with all its bells and whistles my wife's face lit up like the forth of July; this was the one! A quick trip back to the office and Amy went to talk with her Sales Manager, when she returned she sweetened the pot even more with a free set of winter tires, (now that makes senses, not a 50"TV) and just cause, she took $2000.00 off the price. We didn't even have to ask! After the paper work was signed and the car was ours, Amy continued to blow our minds, she took another 30 minutes to go over every inch of the car, and gives us a tutorial on how all the bells and whistles worked then she took the time to program the media system, memory power seats and well everything in the car to our liking. Then as if she hadn't done enough already Amy gave us a parting gift for each member of the family. See Amy listened to us and remember we had four kids. I was so impressed. If you are anything like me and don't like high pressure car sales people or the hidden surprises that come when it is time to sign the paper work; if you just want to know you are getting the best bang for your buck , visit Amy Smith at Kia, the experience you get is like a day at the Spa in comparison. LOL Thanks Amy, you made loyal customers for life!

This was the worst dealership I’ve dealt with. Ever. And here we are 8 months after the initial inquiry and 16 requests later for them to stop contacting me and they’re STILL contacting me. My husband and I were in a couple days ago to look at preowned Kia Souls, we had a great experience! Barry spotted us walking in the lot and was quick to give us a hand and get us a test drive for the Soul we were eyeing up. He was great at explaining safety features (which was important to us with a baby due right away) and showing us how all the different features inside the vehicle worked. We never felt pressured at all, it was just as if some one was showing us our options and leaving the rest to us. Once we committed and went inside we were impressed with how friendly ALL the staff were, Barry gave us a tour of the dealership so we knew where the service department, etc. were and I can honestly say I will be looking forward to my next oil change! My girlfriend took her little soul in for a command start here, and for whatever reason it wasnt heating the cabin. Kia told us to bring it back in, and they fixed their tiny mistake, but went above just the fix and they washed the outside and detailed the interior as well as an oil change, all free of charge. We were both blown away with their service, and would highly recommend dealing with them for whatever you need!!

I have purchased three vehicles from Kia of Saskatoon. The first was a 2009 Rondo, then a 2012 Optima and I drive a 2013 Kia Soul. I contacted the dealership via the web to obtain the buyout on my 2013 Kia Soul and I received an email back from the Sales Manager requesting that I phone the Business Manager to obtain it. I said I was out of town and unable to do so and requested that he provide me with the email address then I followed up with another email requesting that he walk the ten meters or so down from his office and either obtain the buyout or, better yet, forward my request to the business manager - I'm the customer, right? I would think it's his job to do that. At any rate, I've emailed the business manager and it's now 24 hours later and I still don't have the buyout on the vehicle. I sent a lengthy email this afternoon the business manager to inform that after 3 vehicle purchases from Kia of Saskatoon, I will be taking my business elsewhere because, apparently, it's impossible to get the buyout of a vehicle you obtained from this particular dealership. I'd recommend you take your business somewhere else too. I know why they were resistant to getting me the information - if I call, maybe they can qualify me as a prospective buyer - maybe they can feel me out - I get that. I teach sales training for a living. But, this is 2015 and the last time I looked, I have the right as a consumer to choose the method by which I communicate with anyone in business. Updated 21 March 2015 It's now six days since I first requested the buyout and I still don't have it. The business manager emailed to inform me that he had faxed the request for the buyout four days ago and in the email he said that I should have it by the next day. Well it's four days later and my email is making cricket chirping sounds. I posted my bad customer service experience on Kia Canada's facebook page. That got me an email from the general manager of the dealer but no actual phone call. Kia said that I should expect a phone call from the dealership - haven't received one. Yeah, basically I'm of the feeling that Kia of Saskatoon is basically poorly managed and has major internal communication problems. I'm done. This is nuts. Even back in the 1980's before the Internet, I could get a buyout within a day. And if I was going to buy a car from them, I suspect they could get my buyout withing sixty freaking minutes. Unbelievable!!.

I would like to give some positive feedback about a couple of employees I dealt with at the KIA of Saskatoon location. I had an excellent experience dealing with James Gratton; although I did not purchase a vehicle through KIA, it was only because of the unavailability of the 2014 Forte5. James listened to all of my concerns and needs for my new vehicle, was extremely patient, hospitable, trustworthy, approachable and had an eye for detail. I will definitely recommend him to all family, friends or other acquaintances who are interested in purchasing a new vehicle. We did explore (multiple) alternatives for the Forte5, however after lots of consideration I wouldn't have been completely satisfied with either option. Chris Rapchuk, the New Vehicle Sales Manager, was also a pleasure to deal with. His realistic and honest approach made the whole experience very comfortable, especially in today's car sales industry where dishonesty is widely used to make a sale. His professionalism and assistance in setting up a sale/trade between dealerships was very appreciated. Overall, my experience at KIA of Saskatoon was the best I have had to date and I believe that these two should be recognized for their efforts and professionalism.

Up until yesterday I have had nothing but great things to say about Kia Saskatoon and my Kia Soul (2010 with 109000km), so much so, that I had actively been looking at buying a 2016 Sorento. Well, that all changed yesterday, with my service appointment. I believe that I was charged astronomical rates because I am a single under 30 year old woman, When questioned on the numbers, I was not given a straight answer, was just expected to pay. My air conditioner had been acting up, some days not working at all, other times working perfectly. So needed an oil change, so decided to book it in. Yesterday at 10 am get a phone call, the blower needs replacing, the problem is the whole dash would have to come out so they can replace it, quote me 1000 dollars. Tell me my cabin filter needs replacing, and I need a wheel alignment. So I give the go ahead. 4 hours later- my car is ready. go to pay - total is 1458. So I look at the break down. Actual supplies and parts- 277 dollars, labour (1057.62) : oil change - (.3 hours): 40.49, blower - (6 hours) : 809.7, cabin filter (0.5 hour) - 67.48, wheel alignment (1.2 hours) : 139.95. now call me a little ticked off when you had my car for 4 hours (one of the hours being over lunch time). I have many complaints #1 - quoted 5 hours of labour u charged me 6, and the next being you charged me 112.48 to change a cabin filter.. like that is complete bull crap, it's a plastic piece you have to clip in., how hard could it be. I don't care what you are doing.. Its not worth 250 dollars an hour. So needless to say. Avoid KIA service like the plague. I will never use the service bay, purchase or recommend a Kia again!

Worst service ever, had my starter, alternator changed and they changed only the alternator but they charged double times from a normal servicing centre. I tried calling in the next day and told me that the service manager will call me back which never did, instead asked me to tow and bring my car again. Also, took way too long just to change the alternator.

This place is a dive and you should stay away. We bought a Sorento a few years back and the car was an dud from day one when the panoramic moonroof didnt work. It is without any doubt the worst car we ever owned and right up until the last day we traded it in it was giving different problems. Whatever you do do not buy a kia and definitly not from these guys. For years Im being bombarded with calls offering "deals" on another Kia. I have asked every one of them to remove me fron their call list and they keep calling and texting to buy another car. Be prepared for over 5 years of calls, texts and voicemails from these guys.

After seeing 4 different dealerships I decided to go with Kia because of their competitive pricing and despite being in a market of low supply and high demand. Customer service at Kia was by far the best out of the dealers I went to. My salesman Brett was very patient with me throughout the negotiation process and did not pressure me at any point. He is an expert of not only Kia vehicles but the whole car market as well. Finance process was great with Kaylee, she was very knowledgeable with everything and there was also no pressure into signing into anything that would cost me extra. Dylan who wasn’t even involved in my purchase at Kia even offered his personal vehicle when they had no Forte EX to test drive which shows their confidence and support behind Kia products. There better be a fat Christmas bonus from management this year because the people at Kia are carrying this dealership. Despite their young age it seems like they have years and years of experience.

I’ve had the worst experience dealing with the finance department of this dealership. I purchased a vehicle in June, was pressured into a warranty package I didn’t want with the line “you can cancel in your first month”. I cancelled it. It took 6 months ( I had to make phone call after phone call, and go in person TWICE before anything was done) for the dealership to return my money to my financing company and they pawned the blame off on the warranty company. I contacted Kia Protect and they told me it’s the dealerships responsibility to send out cheque’s and that it should have only taken 2 weeks for that money to be credited back to me. I’ve been trying to receive a response about another related issue with my vehicle purchase at the dealership and only seem to make any progress when I go in person. The finance person I’ve dealt with is Kelly-Lee and she always says she’ll “get back to me” but NEVER has. The day I purchased my vehicle my sales person was sick, so I went through one of their managers who didn’t understand what I had been told about the sale of my vehicle, and ever since I’ve had the displeasure of going through Kelly-Lee and it has been a long, frustrating, and NEGATIVE experience and I do not rexcomend this dealership to anyone as a result. 1 star because at least you get “free oil changes for life” yipee..

Kia and the people working there who served us we're not honest not upfront and definitely not ethical, however you do expect that from used car dealers. Note to the public if you get a letter from Kia wanting your vehicle and asking for an incentive to get you in the door saying that they will give you a thousand they will never talk about it or give you that deal. Kia of Saskatoon is a great place to find your new ride!! Staff there is excellent. During 10 minutes we waited for our sales person, 5 different people asked if we needed help or wanted coffee or something, that's great customer service. Our sales person, Amy, did great job helping us throughout the process and making it smooth experience. She would even take calls after office hours for customers if possible, which is great!! Only problem we had is with finance manager Kelly, he did not disclose that there will be 2 credit checks , one for Kia and one for the bank, even after we specifically told him which bank we want to send the application to. Specially when Kia was not going to finance, it doesn't make any sense for them to do the credit check, unless a person is not sure about the credit or which bank to send it. Apart from that, it's great place, and excellent customer service. Manager Travis is also very helpful and will guide you properly to make the right decision!! I would recommend Kia to anyone who is looking to purchase the vehicle. Cheers!!

Lackluster experience, bought a pre-owned vehicle and had issues the first month, the salesman didnt get back to me for 3 days with the first issue and landed me right outside the 30 day warranty when he finally did, luckily I had purchased extended warranty. Then a few weeks later it wouldnt start when it was cold and with my knowledge of cars I figured it was a battery or alternator issue being it was plugged in and was just told that it was too cold for my car to start. Today it was -9 and my car still didnt start, so there is a mechanical issue and when I contacted my salesman for advice I was directed to the service department and they were friendly and easy to deal with in comparison. First time buying a vehicle at Kia and will definitely be the last time I go there for my vehicle needs. Cudos to the service dept but very unimpressed with the level of service from the salesman, its like once the deal was made there was no need for courtesy or for the salesman to deliver a positive experience to the the customer. Update: just got off the phone with service and they are charging me for what I already knew and told them, sold me a car with a pooched battery and wont do anything about it. Worst dealership ive ever experienced and will not be back for any pre-owned or new vehicles as they will sell you lemons and say it checked out fine just a month ago

Update from my previous review written September 2015: Here we go again! My 2012 Kia Rondo is back in the service department. Left it there August 26. Took the mechanic for a drive and asked him three times, "Can you hear that?" to which he responded three times, "Yes". He suggested he thought it might be hydraulics, the he would "find it and fix it". I asked if he would sign that in blood! Well, now it is September 17, 2016 (I do this every year for exercise). Waiting, waiting, waiting. A letter to the CEO of Kia Canada shook things up a bit, but not enough to get any real action. Still feeling completely screwed over. Have gone public on Facebook and am getting ready to call up W5 and CBC's "At Issue". Anyone want a 2012 2.4ltr 2wd automatic Rondo with only 51000 kms? I won't lie. It has a whine in the transmission. (Just like the 2011 Kia Sorento's with the 2.4 litre 2wd automatics that were recalled for the same problem). Original post: It's now four weeks since I left my 2012 Kia Rondo for servicing. This is the third time back with the same problem--whining in the transmission. I called last week and was told that the mechanics were "looking at it again today". Just called again today and was told that nobody can find anything wrong with it. I can come and get it! Everyone in the service department must know me by now as that b_____ with the Java Brown Rondo. I've emailed KIA Canada, who replied that they would ensure I was satisfied with the service, that they had called KIA Saskatoon, and that they had been told that, yes, my car was in for servicing. Everyone is nice, everyone is pleasant. But nice and pleasant doesn't cut through all the rhetoric. I have to agree with so many others on this review forum that the service absolutely sucks. Now I have a car with a problem that won't go away. How would I ever sell it? The only place I could trade it is at KIA Saskatoon, and they already know the problem so the trade-in value would suddenly drop through no fault of my own. Besides that, why would I want to trade it on another KIA? I might as well own a Volkswagen--I'm caught in the same dilemma as those owners.

The dealership is pretty average when it comes to dealers I've dealt with. One thing I'd suggest looking out for is the upselling of service when bringing your car in for warranty work. Tried calling today to see if my car was done getting the air bag light fixed and called three times trying to get a hold of someone in the service department but the phone just kept ringing. This happened to me back in the winter, i gave up and called kia in regina that time..

They lie and claim problems on a newer vehicle require extra money to buy a part to keep the battery charged. Really? I should be plugging in and charging my battery all year round? Really? When a car has required 4 batteries in 3 years, there’s a problem. SO FIX IT. They do not do what was asked and make light of problems brought forward to them. They also do not honour to pay out for the referral program. Go to a different dealership, this one is unprofessional on all counts.

She is such a positive upbeat person and gives excellent customer service. Owen was great to deal with and answered all my questions and was really helpfully. But Unfortunately that’s where it all ended. I purchased a brand new vehicle and was told prior to pick up there were some paint chips they would fix for me and it would only take a few days. Well... it took over 2 weeks for them to fix it (which it’s great it’s fixed) but now it’s no longer “factory new” and had been repainted. and there was no financial discount to offset this... Had I know the fixed were going to take so long I wouldn’t have purchased the vehicle prior. The other issue I had which I am still trying to rectify over a month later is the financial loan gentleman neglected to tell me that I had to put a stop payment on my trade in vehicle... even though I asked him if I needed to do anything with it. So I had 3 car payments all come out within a week and half.. which bounced my account causing overdraft fees etc. Kia promised to rectify this and I have yet to get a resolution. The gentlemen they put me in touch with no longer works for Kia and no one will return my follow up emails. And last but not least... when I purchased my Kia there was a gas card promotion on however I was told by the dealership that my car did not qualify for the gas card promo - understandable right? Fast forward a month later and I get an email from Kia Canada telling me I only had 3 days left to register for the gas card!!! Would have been nice if the dealership knew their own promotions. Super frustrating experience and had I known of the headaches I probably wouldn’t have purchased a new vehicle from them. Owen was a rockstar but his upper management seemed to be all talk when it came to addressing my concerns and issues.

Both TIMES, we were blown away with their willingness to work with us, our budgets & we were open and honest about past credit issues & they did whatever they could to make it work for US. Jason Moore, helped us on the finance side and HUGE shout out to him for blowing us out of the water and getting us exactly what we were looking for (even with not the best of credit) and helping & being open with us every step of the way. Just a little update: I left a negative review of this dealership 3 weeks ago about an issue I was having and they replied to my review telling me to reach out to them to discuss it. (That was the issue I was having in the first place, constantly contacting them and not getting a response back.) Kelly Lee is aware of what my concern is, and the dealership definitely has my contact information. I emailed to let them know that if they take my customer service concern seriously and wish to resolve or even look into the issue for THEM to contact ME for a change. It’s been 3 weeks since I sent that email. Responses to comments online are one thing, actually taking them seriously is another. If you have any issues with your vehicle after your purchase , good luck hearing back from Kia of Saskatoon’s sales team about it.

I just bought my 3rd KIA there, after so many problems with terrible visibility, no camera, swooping windows on Hyundai. This SORENTO with over 300 HP has superior features ! Adjustable seats, double heaters, leather seats, and wild sound system choices ! Two sun roofs perfect at night because you can actually CAMP in this lengthy vehicle ! See the stars ! My cousin just bought one on Connecticut that included a portable tent ! Mark Schick the salesman was pleasant and patient as I was recovering from exhaustion. He made it easier for me to deal with the situation, no pressure. This rather dark vehicle will be sporting fancy graphics from Auto Trim on Miller Ave....so many artistic choices there !

I took my car in to get fixed. I asked them to also fix one minor thing. I asked 3 times to change a bulb or fuse for me. The light is burnt out where it says park and so on. When I picked up my car I specifically asked if they also fixed that and I was told yes. Well it wasn’t fixed and the service department phoned and checked to see how my experience was and I told them about this. I was told I would be contacted by a manager. They were on lunch at the time. I told her that would be fine. Must be a long lunch a week later I never heard anything. I think with all the money I spent to fix my vehicle the least they could do is make sure everything I asked was done.

What happened to the experience of buying a car? As a baby boomer the car buying experience used to be better. I used to have fun going into a dealership and being able to talk cars with someone who knew what they were talking about. I tried to do this a couple weeks back and ran into someone that I am surprised can even drive a car. I walked in the front door and was yelled at by a young lady from her cubicle. she then proceeded to yell at me and had no idea what I was looking for even after "talking" at her desk. I proceeded to drive down the street to Toyota and Bought a new Rav 4. I will never go back to kia again and will make sure to tell others also. She was dressed like a server at my local pub while all the gentleman were wearing ties. Professionalism would have been awesome instead of FFFun.

Terrible Experience; We liked the idea of Kia's warranty. But the Service was so bad I will never consider it from this dealership again. We went to lease a new vehicle from Kia, Specifically the sportage. We wanted the EX line, but were shown an EX Premium (upsell). We were told there were no EX's on the lot. Once we decided we liked the vehicle (ie willing to sign a lease) a EX magically appeared. After we negotiated a price (which took at least 2 hrs) the General Manager came in to close the deal. He told us the car had a remote start and it was an "extra option" which would cost an extra $240 which was fine. The problem came when we signed the papers. After signing the papers they informed us the vehicle did not have a car starter and it would have to be installed. (misinformation) Remember once you sign the papers you have no option but to take the vehicle. While installing the remote starter they "apparently" scratched the bumper. It took them 6 days to give us this update and will still not receive our NEW vehicle that we drove for another week.

Only giving 2 stars because the receptionist was great. Walked the lot in front of the dealership 20 minutes before closing and nobody came out to see if we needed help. When my husband went in to see if anyone was around, the receptionist called over to the salesperson sitting at his desk. He didn't even bother to stand up. Just yelled over. Couldn't be bothered to engage in a transaction if this is the initial greeting. Went down the street where the sales people wanted to make a sale. Took my SUV to Kia for an appraisal today. They went and looked at it, drove it around for a few minutes (without telling me) and come back offering me $5k because my back up camera is broke and it’s $3k to fix it. Ummmm,..... it worked fine before you touched it. Did you drive around the building out of site, disconnect my camera then low ball me $7k less than the other dealer I went to?!?! Yeah, you did. I sure hope the dealer responds to this review and offers to fix the camera now! I take extremely good care of my vehicle and I don’t have $3000 laying around! My 2 brothers in edmonton who drive kia recommended me to buy Kia Telluride so I visited Saskatoon location. However the customer rep, i guess his name was brett, was so rude and had no manners and courtesy in his tone and language. He quoted a price, we just said it Is higher compared to Edmonton price. He just showed no interest and told us to buy from Edmonton and left. Absolutely he had no interest. Me and my wife completely wasted our time and felt insulted. We own multiple businesses in saskatchewan and we never treat our customers like this. I won't recommend kia Saskatoon to anyone. we have never had this kind of customer service experience anywhere.

I have to say that overall my experience at KIA has been great. I bought a 2014 Kia Soul. My sales guy Andrew was awesome and took my budget and worked it out to show me an amazing car. The financial guy that took over from there was Riley and he was fantastic and made sure I was happy with everything. Then I took it in for my protection package and for the first time ever a service advisor actually called to give me an update before the vehicle was done just so I was aware on what was going on and what time frame we were still looking at. Bought a used Car from Kia of Saskatoon. Great experience from the sales team and finance lady. No pressure from Brett (salesperson) and immediate response to my questions. However very disappointed in the detailing team and questioning the technicians. There was a squeegee left on the roof when I showed up to test drive, the back of the drivers seat was off and the car poorly cleaned. Minor issues that we resolved quickly except for the detailing. I would of really liked the car to of been detailed properly inside (dirt in cracks, windshield streaks were terrible once night hit, headliner still dirty, etc) and outside (door jams not cleaned, a good polish and wax would of went a long ways). The car was inspected and gone through before pick up, yet I was on the side of the highway removing the last bolt (of 6) that holds the plastic skid plate on a few hours later. Again, minor mistake but made me question everything. Again, great service and I will return for future buying or service needs. I hope they resolve their detailing issues, especially on used cars. I will now be stuck doing it myself or paying $500 for someone else to do it properly.

Certain members of the sales staff, and particularly the financing staff here, will prey on you like there's no tomorrow, and it'll happen so fast your head will spin. Before you have an opportunity to have a conversation in private, you'll have been whisked away to sign papers, you'll have paid full sticker price, and you'll have thousands of dollars in unnecessary and poorly explained extra upsells on your sales invoice....just like that it's all wrapped up and you're out the door. Dirty deal folks! Bought my car in 2010. 5000km on it and Andrew claimed it was due to my car being a test vehicle and Kia would give me a couple thousand off the purchase price due to the mileage. I noticed the car pulling to the right a bit on the freeway driving it home. Reported this immediately and was told Kia would do an alignment for me. Brought my car in a couple of days later for the alignment and some undercoating I got sucked in to. Later that day I received a call from Peter (who is/was great at smiling and telling you nothing can be done to help you) that my car was finished, and they also found a chunk of rubber missing from one tire and replaced it. "That will be $200". You absolutely do not do any extra work on a vehicle without consulting the customer first. I spoke to the GM at the time and he did clear it up. A couple months after buying the car, my radio froze up on me one evening. Would not shut off when turning off the ignition or shutting my door. Had to pull the fuse to get it to turn off. When I phoned Kia, I was told there was nothing they could do unless I brought it in while it was frozen. It happened every few months or so but always while Kia was closed. I complained about this for nearly 3 years until Gerry the Service Manager (who was helpful but was let go) finally showed up in the department and I came to him with a video of me displaying how the radio froze. When I told him I had been complaining for nearly 3 years, he looked up my file and no such complaints were recorded. He figured it was a bad ignition switch and had that replaced for me. Months later it froze again, Gerry was now gone but the new Service Manager finally had my whole radio replaced. Over the past few years, I have brought my car in only to have the incorrect oil put in after requesting a specific type, been called that my car was finished only to show up and find it hadn't gone in yet, and been called and told that even though I booked my car in for a simple oil change and tire rotation for the morning, I would have to wait until the next day to get it back. On a very small note, it took years to finally train their staff to figure out how to load Kia rewards points. On one of my last oil changes, I brought my own washer fluid I'm fond of and asked it to be put in. Upon retrieving my car, the mechanic had not put the cap on right and tossed it on my passenger seat where it leaked. On top of that, I had also mentioned that I had a belt squealing whenever I cranked my steering wheel. I was told they couldn't replicate they squeal so therefore couldn't diagnose it. When backing out of their lot, I had cranked my steering wheel and the squeal happened. When I went back in to talk to the service manager Janine (who my dealings with have been positive since she showed up) instantly offered me a free complete detail and sent a mechanic to deal with my car right on the spot. I eventually came for my free detail, but upon picking the car up only the outside looked great. Inside was still dusty and dirty. I would be shocked if they actually steamed out the washer fluid from my seat. Free or not, this was another kick in the teeth from Kia. Just recently I decided to investigate a rattle in my passenger door. Upon taking my paneling off, it was apparent that someone had been poking around in this door before. I started inspecting the area further and also noticed blue paint on some trim on the passenger side. I could not fathom any service I had done that would warrant taking the door apart. I then ran my VIN through the SGI website and discovered that months before I bought my car it had been in an accident with damages totaling $9,800.00. Andrew did not disclose this to me when I bought the vehicle. I have not spoken to the GM about this yet but can imagine how that conversation is going to go. Over the past couple years I have talked maybe a dozen people into avoiding Kia and the Fun Motor Group altogether. I highly suggest anyone reading this do the same.

Went to Kia of Saskatoon to test drive a car. They had me signing papers and doing credit checks. They still hadn't have me test drive. I got up and said I don't wanna test drive the car anymore. Do not buy a car from them. Worst experience of dealing with a car dealership. This happened Tuesday July 18. Usually you test drive a car first then see if you like it to buy it. Sure didn't happen here.

My family has been buying Kia and Hyundais for 10 years now. Everyone has been amazing and absolutely no troubles and have outlasted the american vehicles. Just recently I introduced my girlfriend to Kia after her 2012 civic was having parts replaced at 30 000km! She paid lots for a basic car! Here was a 2013 Optima that she just had to have! I ran into James Gratton who my brother dealt with at Hyundai with amazing experience. He was always happy and tried his hardest to find you want YOU wanted not what THEY wanted. After what seemed like days (only hours) of questioning him and running around, he was able to get us a great deal on the optima. He understood we were first time buyers and explained everything he could. He made out experience with Kia of Saskatoon a pleasure. They showed her around the dealership, introduced the staff and setup the car for her. Noone has showed service like Kia of Saskatoon and James Gratton. You read the comments and its always the service but anywhere you go you are bound to run into crap service one in a while.

Unbelievably terrible customer service on more than one occasion. I will have nothing to do with this service department is ever again. I paid for something to be reattached to my vehicle only to discover the part was never attached. I received no apology, I fact, the service advisor was quite rude and insinuated that I had not communicated clearly (the communication was clear enough for them to charge me for the work though). This resulted in me having to take more time off work and spend out of pocket to Uber to the dealership. Again, no apology and no follow up from anyone there. What can I say! What a great experience I had buying my first vehicle! Let me start by saying the whole staff at Kia was extremely friendly and a special shout out to my salesman, Mark Schick, along with Chase and Kelly-Lee. So here is my story: I visited Saskatoon a couple weeks ago to test drive some vehicles and narrow my list down to just a few. One of those vehicles, was the Kia Sorento. I was greeted by Mark Schick outside as I was circling the Sorento. Within minutes of talking I was in the process of test driving the vehicle. I was clear from the start that I would be spending the whole day test driving different vehicles and he totally understood and didn't pressure me to stay at Kia and make a deal that moment, and in fact, gave me some test driving advice. I chose not to purchase a vehicle that weekend and to step back and not make any emotional decisions. Mark did not try to pressure me in the slightest, only asked if he could contact me later that week. We chatted later that week, and it was in fact just to see how it was going. I informed him it was between the Sorento and another vehicle, and that I was interested in giving it another test drive. This past weekend, I visit Saskatoon again to give the Sorento another test drive. I now know I must get this vehicle. I go to put an offer in, and Mark even notes a few other items that are often overlooked by people. He's genuinely helping me get a good deal on the vehicle. Along the way I deal with his boss, Chase, who I spoke to on the first visit as well. He too was a treat to deal with. I then moved on to financing, Kelly-Lee. She was such a delight to deal with, and I didn't think I could have so much fun in the financing portion of the process. A common trend you may notice, is that these people actually have their best interest for you. One of the main things that sold me on Kia, was how personable Mark was. He was pressure free, understandable, and very kind. I'm a fairly indecisive person and he made purchasing the Sorento a sure thing. Purchased a used 2017 Sedona off the lot a couple weeks ago. Our Honda Odyssey hit a deer and needed to be replaced. We looked at a few dealerships but the Kia Sedona we purchased was far and away in the best condition out of all the vehicles we looked at in that price range. The prep staff had done a great job of getting the van ready for sale and it has be perfect, you wouldn't know that it was used if not for the odometer. Derrick and Ruby were fantastic to deal with through the entire process, very accommodating and straight forward. Received great service at the sale but since then when I needed service due to their mistake, I couldnt even receive a call back after numerous calls, texts and voicemails. 45 days later I went in and the general manager didnt even apologize and insisted that the matter was rectified although I have still not received the 2nd set of keys I should have upon purchase. 45 days later, no apology and very poor customer service. Really shows that once you spend your hard earned money, they really dont care about you as a customer. After purchasing a $37,000 vehicle you'd think you'd get a little more from a company who supposedly prides itself on customer service. I get better service when ordering a $2.00 coffee.

Updated Don’t buy used vehicle from these guys, never expected a dealership to employ such shifty practices. Within 48 hours the ac stopped blowing cold air, 72 hours the brakes started squeaking, in a three week period it burns 3 litres of oil, 24 hours the tire monitoring system packed it in, the engine periodically feels like it’s going to die with the engine light on and the throttle sensor light comes on. But what’s startling about this whole deal is the sales manager never returns my calls or magically disappears when I show up with van to discuss the issues with him. I would highly recommend to avoid this dealership. Update 26 November 2019 2200.00 later new motor in van......love KIA of Saskatoon......

The service at KIA is a joke. I am not convinced they can fix anything. 2013 KIA RIO lives at the service department. Same problems over and over again. Wait a week for parts, then claim they need more parts (because they never identified the problem correctly in the first place). Never return a call. "Car will be ready on Thursday" Thursday comes and goes, into the next week, no call...Finally call them, haven't started on it yet. Charged me for repairs I never had done. Completely oblivious of how an engine should sound and feel perfectly fine sending the car back out on the road with problems. Drove the car home after 2 weeks in the shop, back in by tow truck before the end of the day. Has been towed 4 times now due to overheating. Engine is toast and they won't do anything about it even though its under warranty. Apparently Rad fans only last 2 hours to 2 weeks...x4 Never again will a KIA be in this family....

This place is a scam, the sales manager is liar and if you decide to buy from here you'll be sucked into a contract worth more than double you're car in interest. For credit rebuild this is a baaaad choice. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. The positive comments are probably from friends and family and co workers. I would never trust these guys. And when the contract is signed, all verbal deals and void. Do NOT trust them.

it won't let me post everything I would like...but here are the lowlights of my experience and the reason I give them one star. Don't preapprove me for a special promotion ($77 for the first three months) and then deny me the promo and make me ask about it to find out I'm not getting it. Don't waste my time and make me go to a manager when you could've easily made alternate arrangements for me to get my car. I had to make those arrangements because you couldn't take 2 minutes to do them yourself. Your insincere apology and the offer to personally fill my gas tank was insulting considering you ended up wasting over two an a half hours of my time on my day off. That being said, my car is fantastic. Love it. But the post purchase service I got from Craig R. was definitely sub-par.

BUYER BEWARE. Bought a Sportage a few years ago. After an oil change appointment they said that the serpentine belt was worn after less than 40K on the vehicle (an attempt to increase the cost of the service). I asked for the belt and noticed that it had cut lines and a slice out of the side of the belt, definitely not worn or crack damage. Went in to talk to the service manager and he agreed that the belt was not worn but cut. Speaking to the technician and his scared and shocked demeanour indicated that he was guilty! They apparently fired him after a few days. Now, the recent service indicated that we need a new engine of $6-8K due to oil consumption problems! In talking to the service manager, this has happened only to a few other vehicles (i.e. Forte). Google Sportage Engine Failure before buying.

Don't buy anything here! I can't give Kia of Saskatoon and FFUN Motor Group a low enough star rating. This was a very negative experience and it has cost me a lot of money. I understand that things can go wrong with used vehicles. I don't expect perfection. I do however expect good customer service, honesty and integrity from anyone I do business with... and that has not been my experience with Kia and FFUN Motor Group. I purchased a "certified used vehicle" from Kia a year ago. I made the assumption that the "certified" designation would give me some peace of mind in that I had purchased a reliable and mechanically sound vehicle. One year later I have had to replace the transmission, the alternator and the gas tank vent sensor for a grand total of $6,000. I spoke with the preowned vehicle manager when the transmission went and he was prepared to purchase the vehicle back "as is". He provided me with his best number, which was low, but I was considering it and wanted to talk with the General Manager to see if he would have the ability to do better. Long story short, I received a lot of double talk, flawed logic and questionable math over the period of several months. Ultimately the tentative deal I made with the preowned vehicle manager was not honoured and I was out of luck. I did everything I could to work with Kia... they seemed like good enough people... but they lead me on for several months and left me stranded with a lemon that keeps costing me money! Mistakes happen, but it's how we deal with those mistakes that makes all the difference. I wanted to resolve this issue and walk away feeling like I had been heard and not taken advantage of. This could have been fixed and I could be a returning customer... but instead all I can do is write this review and share my experience with others.

He was friendly, helpful and supportive, so for the first time I felt like a salesperson was actually listening to me instead of simply trying to make a sale. I did not buy the car I was looking at, but would definitely shop there again. Would have given five stars, however did not have the same experience with all the staff
