I was prepared to leave the car for the day for oil and filter and snow tires. There was a Cancellation I was able to take advantage of. Everything was done while I waited. To top it off the bill was really reasonable. Would definitely bring my car back.

Bait and switch! Pricing out new tires i received a printed quote that included, mounting, balancing and new valve stems. Afterwards I noticed the same valve stems, I asked and they said they didn’t need to be changed, when I pressed the issue the said that due to the tpms I don’t change those stems.... the quote was for my exact vehicle VIN and all.... they should have known of the tpms when printing the quote, they refused and said it was a mistake on the quote. I’ll never go back and warn anyone away that doesn’t want to get nickle and dimed to death. Swindlers, the lot of them!!

Last week my daughter and her girlfriend were returning from a trip from Montreal. A part of the underside of the engine cover came loose on the 401 and they came to your dealership. Service was closed however the sales team welcomed them in. Put the vehicle up and helped them to trouble shoot what was wrong. They were able to get back to Toronto safe and sound. As a fellow business owner when they told me the story of such kindness, service and compassion I had to write this review. This is seriously what is wrong with businesses these days. Chasing the paper and forgetting what really matters. People. Thank for making them both feel really safe in your company. As they said we didn't feel belittled and silly as were women. Thank you so so very much I hope this review makes a difference and the guys that helped that night are rewarded. You know who you are!

Took my vehicle there for repairs, took 6 weeks before repairs were done, when I got vehicle back it had been damaged by them, ask them to have it repaired, they admitted to causing the damage and sent the vehicle to Trenton collision, they called and said it was repaired, when I went to pick it up the paint was disgusting, tole them I was not taking the vehicle back until it was repaired properly. The attitude I got from them was disgusting, their service is inadequate, their people are irresponsible. I will never go to them again.

I have made purchases at Benton twice so far in my life and will continue to do so for quite some time. The staff is very friendly and easy to deal with, they are always willing to listen to requests and even dropped the price of the already reduced car I purchased just so I would feel like I got a deal. Ive also had very good fortune with the quality of vehicles they sell as I only purchase used vehicles but that being said I purchased my first one 6 years ago and have yet to do any work on it. Overall 5/5 great experience, I highly recommend.

I bought a 2001 Taurus from Benton Fry Ford in 2005 Used. After the purchase, I noticed they sold it it to me with an oil change due. They didn’t do it before seller and giving me the keys. Also had recalls on it that they did not look up before selling the car, one of witch was a fire hazard with the electric heater blower that shorted out 3 times in about 1 month of my ownership before they finally looked up the recalls on the car. Took several visits to finally fix. I had the same issue with my F-150 that had the gas tank strap recall. Benton Fry Mechanic would not do the recall repair because I replaced the fuel tank, but the straps were the ones that did need to be replaced. I took it to Madoc for service instead. I will never buy another vehicle from Benton Fry Ford or ever take my Ford there for any service either. When Benton Fry cuts the mustard, it stinks.
Hi Had my first oil changed completed this week. The Service department took my truck in on time and did a complete check over on my truck including checking a screw in my tire. Great job. Had three items of which they commented they would get back to me and setup the plan and appointment to fix my outstanding issues. Thanks Benton Fry Ford Corey Genereaux Benton Fry got back to me and looked at trying to fix the finally three issues, but at the end of the day was not happy with the ford and traded it in On a dodge ram 2500.
As far as the recall that was done by Fry Ford on the seat belt / carpet shield - that was fine. The issue I have is with Ford themselves and the lack of concern in repairing my door locks. Bought this F150 new 2 years ago and every cold day my locks are frozen. Constantly freezing to the point of either not allowing entry, or not allowing the door to shut. and getting them repaired is like talking to the wall. Really struggling to not go and buy a new GM or Ram. I've been a Ford owner for nearly 40 years, but with the lack of customer service - it really irks me to the point that I am asking myself why I would support a brand that doesn't show me that they are interested in customer service.
Service prompt, actually 15 minutes less than expected. Car clean seat cover and floor mat in place after the service. Reminded to have wheel nuts checked following wheel rotation. Friendly reception staff. Good experience all round. No, make that comment GREAT staff. Visited Monday to have the wheel nuts torqued and was taken immediately by a bright young mechanic who had me on my way again after 10 minutes...resetting the tyre pressure monitor into the bargain. I had my 2018 Ford Mustang GT Premium in for oil-change, tire rotation and quality care maintenance 2. I did buy my Mustang in 2019 via AutoTrader in Kingston. So, I had not bought the car at Benton Fry. The service was done in less than an hour - as promised to me. Linda, the service advisor, explained in detail the invoice and what they had done. I know, a minor service, but it left a very good impression with me.

My perspective is from that of a potential buyer and a 1 time parts purchase. I needed a belt for an Explorer. The ponited me to the china auto parts dealer. Not the quality of part I was looking for. Considering a vehicle. Sales staff answered questions. They know things about the models and options and arranged a test drive. In the end, we decided to wait. No pressure from sales staff. Very helpful followup calls.

Been a loyal customer and client of Benton Fry for several years. Service has always been excellent. On my most recent service call I did suffer some damage to my hard top covering the truck bed. Happen to be watching the mechanics finish up my tire change when I noticed them having trouble closing the top. Second mechanic showed up and before long all was finished. Not until arriving home did I notice a a hole in my cover caused by the the roofing locks. Bit disappointed since it was clearly obvious to the mechanics that I had damage and they didn'the speak up first. Did call back and reported the damage and I trust it will be dealt with. All the same it should have been brought up on the day.
Sally and Cathy are an all star team, they made buying our new Bronco pain free and fun! Sad there's no mustard anymore, but the service makes up for it!
I am willing to change my assessment here, but right now my feeling is one of total dissatisfaction with the company. The seller was super attentive, but today it's been 8 days since I paid in full for a used and in-stock vehicle and I still couldn't pick up the car and I really don't know what justifies it. The absence of contact is even more distressing. I definitely want to complete this deal, but I'll probably never buy there again.

Benton Fry delivers!!!! We ordered our Transit cargo van to do a van conversion way back in December of 2020 before the world knew about the superconductor chip shortage that would result in mayhem in the auto industry. Our sales guy Russell Pemberton held our hands through the whole ordeal which lasted ten months. He was awesome at answering all my concerns about the delay (and there were many) He got back to me on every email with good information about what they were hearing on their end from Ford. He dealt with my whining and my concerns like a trained therapist. Being that he is a car salesperson first and foremost says a lot about his caring character. We were lucky to have him on our side. They are worth the drive to Belleville!!! A happy transit owner.

I recently moved to the Belleville area so naturally I looked to see where my nearest Ford dealer was and Benton Fry came up. I called to make an appointment for an oil change hoping for the next day. They fit me in at a time that worked perfect for me which helped a lot. We made a Saturday appointment with Russell Pembleton to look at a new Escape. We showed up on time, and he was ready for us. Russell wasn't pushy, and made a good impression. After liking the car, we calmly and politely worked out a deal we could all live with. The car was ready as promised: at the agreed upon day and time. It was an entirely reasonable transaction. I recommend giving Russell and Benton Fry Ford a chance to earn your business.
A dealership that is always willing to go out of their way to treat the customer right. Not only did I get a deal on a new vehicle that could not be beaten by my regular dealership of 7y but also any other dealerships in a 200m radius. The service does not stop after you purchase your vehicle but continues when you have any question or problem figuring something out or decide to make new modifications to your vehicle. The service department also goes out of their way to make sure you are informed of any updates or recalls on your vehicle as well as ensuring you are happy with your service and making suggestions to improve your driving experience or vehicles appearance when it comes to modifications etc. My only regret is that I have to wait so long to buy my next vehicle from this location.

Oil change and rotating of tires everything was excellent.
The work that was completed was to my satisfaction, however, the communication with me regarding the problem and the solution (the vehicle was not ready for pick-up for a week due to troubleshooting that was required) was limited to non-existent. In almost every case, I needed to call to inquire what the status of the vehicle repair was.
We stopped in just to look and in less than 2 hours we walked out new vehicle owners. Steven H was very friendly. He provided guidance on options and got us the best deal in town. On pick up day we were greeted at the door by a friend (Steven H). Our experience was truly a pleasure. Even our trip to 'the office' (CFO) was not painful. Thank you for your kindness, professional, customer focus approach.

The service at Fry Ford was performed quickly. I was waiting for my truck. The service was performed at the scheduled time and they did not try to push unnecessary work like Lange and Fetter in Trenton did.
It was pretty fast, but the staff were bi*ching to each other about everything in front of me. It didn't exactly make me feel great about handing over my vehicle to them. (On a side note, please, please, add more channels to the TV in the waiting room).

My mom and dad both passed away recently and they leased a Ford Escape. I was immediately informed about their Peace of Mind policy and directed to call Ford customer care. After I got the paperwork taken care of I was able to take the vehicle back with no issues. They were so kind and made the return as easy as possible for me. I don't own a Ford myself but this policy is outstanding, all car companies should have something similar. Went in to get an oil change. I arrived early as I always do and told them I felt a vibration at 120 km/hr. They took the truck in earlier than scheduled, did the oil change, removed all of the wheels (I could see my truck through the window) and within an hour I was back on the road, new oil, new filter, no vibration. Was told the standard Cousin Vinny diagnosis "Mud in the tires". Now, Marisa Tomei said she never heard of that but I have and it was the fix. They pressure washed the inside of the rims and it took care of it.

For the last two years, I've been waiting to get just the right Escape at the right time and price. I started looking in 2015 but decided to hold out for Sync3 in the 2016's and then wait again for the overall much nicer 2017. I'm so glad that I did, and that I chose to deal with Benton Fry Ford. My sister had a great experience there, specifically dealing with Steve Herrington, and so did I. Despite the fact that I live in Oshawa, it was well worth the drive to deal with Steve and the Benton Fry team. Steve consistently went out of his way over the last two years, working with me over email and phone to answer every question and cover every detail. When it came time to actually make the purchase, I knew exactly what to expect and I was not disappointed. I cannot thank Steve enough for his efforts and he truly is a terrific representative of Benton Fry. From meeting with Steve, to ordering with Cathy, to signing the final paperwork with Paul, I will gladly make the drive again to deal with Benton Fry Ford!
They like to try and blame you when there's something wrong with the car. Ultimately they ended up covering it but asserting blame on a customer is definitely not a reputable business practice. This was a 4 trip ordeal for "Hill start assist not available" which popped up after a cars servicing. I mentioned it to them on the phone to be looked at for the next time my car was in for servicing. Upon leaving the dealership the error popped back up. I called them back to inquire about it and was told they had no idea it was a problem. Which she may have heard if she wasn't too busy constantly talking over top of me on the phone telling me what a waste of money my extended maintenance package was as I never used it that much. This was my last servicing covered under my maintenance package so I specifically told her about it. She keeps the ticket open which is incredibly nice, I thought, so that if work needs to be done it's still covered. Book an appointment to do a diagnosis of the problem - get word it's a PCM (Which I've found out is the main computer of the car) and that they'd be able to do it the next day. Bring the car back for a third time to replace the PCM. After 6 hours in the shop I get a call that it is ready. I went to Walmart just over the hill and the problem popped up again so I was pretty furious and short tempered as the problem WASN'T resolved. They booked an appointment for the following Tuesday to really try and get this resolved. I took the car in on a Tuesday, they were nice enough to give me a courtesy car for the day. I received a call saying that the part would be in the next day and they'd call me then. Then the next day happened. I got a call from the dealership fairly early in the morning telling me that the part had been sent to Edmonton and wouldn't be there for 5 days, also , they weren't going to cover the part under the maintenance warranty. I asked why and was told there was electrical tape on the wires and since I put electrical tape on the wires they weren't going to cover me. Now, I had to explain to this woman how I bought an EXTENDED MAINTENANCE package so I would never have to open the hood except to put in washer fluid, they were the ones who had been in there so if there was any electrical tape it was from either them or the ford factory. She explained that she would have to talk to the manager about it. I received a call back 5 minutes later telling me it would be covered. I drove the courtesy car for a week and a half before the part managed to come in and picked it up no charge. This review is based off my last experience with them, there have been a couple other moments that were aggravating, mostly it's been alright but this was enough to make me never buy a Ford again. 2 stars and that's because they DID fix my problem and let me use a courtesy car for a week and a half (which sucked gas and had alignment issues).

Was looking for a specific car and found it at this dealership on Autotrader. Sent in my inquiry and within a couple hours I had already heard back re: the car via email and by phone. Promptly set up an appointment to come see the car and it was ready and waiting for me when I got there! Had a nail in my tire. Took it to my dealer, Benton Fry Ford, they couldn't fix it. I needed a new tire. Tire was ordered and in just a few days I had the new tire installed and processed payment through my tire warranty. Everything went very smoothly. Staff were great as usual.

I recently had a problem with a lack of turbo from my Ford Escape. The problem turned out to be an electrical problem with the vehicle and took several days to diagnose and repair. While I was frustrated with the situation, I felt that the service department was very accommodating and provided excellent communication with regular status updates along the way. My service advisor was Pam. I'd highly recommend Benton Fry Ford Service.
My daughter had to get her car fixed at Benton Fry because of the faulty double clutch system made by Ford. While changing the double clutch, somehow the Starter needed to be replaced for $500, and Ford did not even call to inform my daughter. After the repair was done, within a week the Transmission light came on and the car had to be towed to Benton Fry again. After waiting three months for parts, Ford calls to say that she needs a new battery for her car. I guess it stopped working after sitting in the lot for three months. I spoke to the manager about these issues and was told that Ford Canada would not do anything. It seems that Ford does not stand behind its cars.
I called about a week ago about a part and was transferred to a very rude lady. She was so snappy with me over the phone. I was so shocked with how rude she was I was speechless. Likely wont be using their service anymore... Too bad I am now stuck with a Ford Car.
My grandmother bought a Ford Escape here and has had nothing but trouble with it, everytime she brings it in to Benton Fry they give her the run around, never solve or look for the issue and just ran out the warranty before offering to do diagnostic work which would cost her tonnes of money. Went to another garage who could identify and offer a fix no problem. Would never shop here again after this service.

Bought a 2011 f150 was told I'd get a tank of gas with the truck when I pick it up well I picked it up and it was on empty! Went back to them and they said they will give me a quarter tank ! Then it was also showing 200 km till next oil change. You think you would have already done that so on top of the 21k I spent know the truck I had to put $110 on gas to get home plus $100 for an oil change the same day then the next day the blower motor starts making a noise and the engine starts knocking and they say that normal so now I have a new truck that makes the inside sound like a jet when we wanna stay worm ! Probably won't be going to them again

So, somone asked me for the reason of 1 star. Here it is! I bought used 2013 chrysler with 36k clicks. Expect it to be in good condition as its under warranty but there are certain things with are dealer resposibilty e.g satey. I am located at the other end of toronto. They don't have a shuttle to pick you up for a 1 km distance.. We agreed on the price and they were suppose to repair a small dent. After the price finalising, they didnt want to repair the dent, then I figured out there were few accessoried missing. They didnt want to pick up the cost. I ignored it. The price was not bad but the quality is hightly challanged.The car was not even properly shampooed from inside. It was snowing the day I picked up the car, after few days I noticed theres barely any tire tread, eventhough I asked them earlier on the phone. The rotors and brakes are not good needs a repair/replace. When I taked to them they started giving excuses, you signed these papers, etc, etc. We can't take a gaurantee now. So, now I am thinking of pay myself, get saftey done, get the brakes fixed and charge them for all what needs to be done. I thought its a Ford dealership, it should have certain standard but customer service and quality is very poor. Make sure you guys double check before you pick up the car.

My vehicle was towed to Benton Ford on July 4 relating to a transmission issue. I purchased my Ford their in 2017. After repeated phone calls I was told it would require the transmission to be removed. Many promises that it would be completed promptly. Yesterday the service manager Dave told me it was going to be completed first thing today(July 12). Yet my car sits out front and remains unserviced. Terrible unreliable service department. Dishonest with poor communication. I will never purchase a vehicle from them again nor use their terrible service department. I recommend you avoid this business!! Update July 20th- It been 16 days since my car was dropped off and still my car is not fixed. No contact from Benton Fry Ford since last Tuesday. Ford quality service at its worst!!! Update August 6- 33 days later and my car is finally ready. Do not trust Benton Fry with your vehicle. You will be disappointed.
AS usual, Benton Fry's service was wonderful. My only complaint was that someone put my finished service report in the wrong place, and if I had not gone to the desk to ask when the car would be ready, I would still be sitting in the waiting room reading.

Best vehicle purchasing experience I've had! Ben Ferguson in sales was very professional and knowledgeable about Ford vehicles and the Edge in particular which was what I was purchasing. He encouraged several test drives to ensure I got what I loved! He doesn't make you feel pressured at all and really does go the extra mile to get you what you want even if it's not on their lot. Tanya in finance was awesome as well. Something that I thought was going to be stressful wasn't at all. My credit approval was back later the same day and after I chose my vehicle she took care of all the details for me! When I picked up my Edge Ben actually took the time to go through all the ins and outs of my new vehicle with me! He cared about taking that time to make sure that I knew how all the new technology worked! He genuinely was excited for me as was everyone else! Great service at the parts counter however beware of the mechanical service. Took my ford vehicle there once because of limited top end speed and they tried to tell me it would need a new intake manifold, $1500 at least. Turned out it was a common ford problem of plugged EGR ports in the back of the throttle body; Thanks to Scotty Kilmer on Youtube. It was about a 20 minute fix for an amateur and no purchase of new parts was necessary.

As usual, the service performed on our 2014 Escape was excellent - finished in a timely manner and the service reception personnel were very hospitable. This Ford dealership is, and will always be, number 1 in my opinion.
I traded in a four year old fiesta because of the transmission issues they couldn't resolve. It was a cute little car but in the end, having it in and out of the shop was not fun and knowing its warranty was coming to an end was scary. When the car shuddered as I turned left in an intersection and I stood still, I no longer felt safe and needed to find something else!! I was even willing to give ford another chance but they couldn't offer a fair deal.

Hi Ford, I'm having the worst experience with you guys. I call about a leak underneath my car on the drivers side. So I took it in for my appointment and you guys didnt do your job right that's for sure and plus the guy that was working on my car left a tool underneath my hood. That's dangerous. Charge me all of this stuff, mins the timming belt that needed to be fix that's fine and didnt do anything about the leak. "All they can say my car is fine and leaks are hard to find." No it's not, no car should be leaking and some leaks are easy to find. I took my car somewhere else and GUESS WHAT he finds the leak right of the bat, plus he even shows me it and I'm still puzzled on how ford the auto shop worker couldn't see the leak. My leak was coming from my transmission area, seals where broken.That means you never looked underneath my car. Like wow it amazing how company's can get away with this and I probably wont even get some of my money back. My car is fixed now because of this other company.

Benton Fry Ford has a comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff, plus you get the feeling and knowledge that they are concerned with getting the proper service for your vehicle and are there for you when you decide on a new or used vehicle, too. The accident I had 4 days before Christmas 2017 wrote off my 2014 Ford Focus and they tried their best to console me and help with choosing another vehicle, especially since I wasn't thinking too clearly at the time. I purchased my first new vehicle in 20 years from Steve Herrington at this dealer. Steve made the entire experience easy and I didn’t feel pressured into anything. He determined what my needs were and made suggestions as to what vehicles met those needs and how to save money by selecting certain packages etc. He went over and above to ensure everything was as easy as possible and I drove out the door with the vehicle and payment I wanted. If you are looking to purchase a new Ford vehicle I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Steve and make an appointment ASAP.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! If I could give it no stars, I would! Where do I start...We were informed that one part was on recall so we scheduled an apt to bring the car in, after having the car three hours they didn’t fix anything, we were still experiencing the issue, so we called and scheduled another apt, same thing.. NOTHING got fixed. This happened another time and finally they told us that they ordered the right part and needed the car for the entire day. We weren’t given any replacement vehicle for the day at all, they told us we had to book that in advance which we were never told about. The customer service people were extremely rude and on top of having no car for the day they charged us $300 for a part that they said would have needed replacing sometime in the future. I wouldn’t recommend Ford to my worst enemy.

Bought a used 2013 edge.... they promised an oil change and new breaks... breaks are faulty and no oil change has been made... sent it back for fixing..... picked it up still faulty breaks..... i just dont know what to make of this experience ...

Service staff is demeaning make you feel belittled and they aren't very helpful. Very difficult to set up service dates as they don't like to use their rentals just their shuttle service. Overall poor experience have had issues with the 2014 fiesta since I bought it but Ford won't recall and fix properly. Won't be buying here again.
Relatives who used Benton Fry Ford for their last vehicle purchase recommended this dealership and the salesperson, Ben Ferguson. I took their advice and I am pleased to say I also had an excellent experience. Ben knows his work, is friendly, sincere, patient, and easy to talk with. He answered my many questions easily. I never felt any pressure. On the day of transfer, he was super organized with the paper-work, and also gave a good tutorial on how the Ford Escape worked. I visited 2 other dealerships, and feel the price for my trade-in and purchase price was fair. I am not a Belleville resident and travelled some distance to do this purchase.

Terrible service. My almost brand new car which is under warranty broke down. Took two days for them to come get it because they apparently don't work weekends. Never offered a loan car. And insisted I come pick up the car once fixed. Do yourself a favor and find another dealership. There are literally dozens of them around here.

Linda was able to get a replacement on order once the vehicle had been transferred into my name and contacted me to set an appointment. Her response to my request was immediate and the service was done as scheduled, in the time frame appointed and very efficiently.
