Service department is great. They’ve renovated the dealership and it’s quite the facelift. I’ve had no issues for the past five years of going there.
Lack of service, I own a 2017 Santa fe. I have not had many problems with the car itself however couple days ago I went in to see about a problem. It was a fuse issue.. They told me if it happens again to bring it back. So today it happened again. The gear shift would not unlock from park.. I could not put car in drive. It started okay. I returned to have them check it. Because I had an after market remote starter installed by Lauria Hyundia, Belleville refused to look at the car at all. I stated you don't even know what the problem is to refuse!! I called Lauria while standing in service bay and they had me bring it right in. we don't know yet whats wrong with it but it has full warranty still so there should be no reason Belleville couldn't check into it. Alister was very firm that they would not touch my car. I will never go back to service or buy anything there. As for my response from owner. Yes there was 2 reviews created under error, unfortunately it was posted under wrong name, so I did another one under my name! I thought it was removed but that was not the intention as mentioned by owner. It is the same statement and same problem! I will try and removed duplicate.
This is the most revolting experience I've ever had with a dealership. I purchased a vehicle 2nd hand. It was given a full and complete safety, but Hunt Club Hyundai in Ottawa, ON. My Santa Fe then collapsed and broke down at 10:30pm, on the 401. This was 5 weeks ago. Belleville Hyundai said they would fix it, and give me a new motor. Newsflash - THERE WAS AN ENGINE RECALL (do yourself a favour and research how many recalls Hyundai has at the moment, and you will NOT PURCHASE A HYUNDAI). The rental offered had a flat tire. I spent 6 hours on the phone with Belleville Hyundai's car rental partner to get an operational vehicle, during the Thanksgiving weekend. I was forced to drive to the Ottawa Airport and convince that rental company of the legitimacy of my claim. Finally, After 7 hours on a weekend when I had my brother and my nephew visiting for the first time in 2 years, I got an operational rental vehicle. I was then forced to return the vehicle and travel 260km to get my vehicle from Belleville Hyundai. The service centre agent was rude and dismissive. I asked questions about what was done under the hood, and those questions were met with dismissal, and I was generally told not to worry. My car wasn't driving right from the outset. The car was sluggish. The car wasn't going into gear properly (documented on video). The car was using extremely high fuel/km. The car was clearly not right. And today, a full WEEK after FINALLY getting my car back, it is now leaking, overheating, and actually SMOKING out from the hood. I had my FAMILY and CHILDREN in the car when this happened. This is far from a financial matter now. This is egregious and absolutely and inherently unprofessional service, and safety. I am already involving my lawyer, and will be pursuing Consumer Protection Ontario, legal pursuit, BBB, and the media. This dealership, and Hyundai Canada, along with Hyundai Hunt Club in Ottawa, all are FAILING myself and my family, by enabling an UNSAFE condition for a vehicle that ought to have been given this diagnosis well before this critical state of affairs. DO NOT BUY A HYUNDAI. DO NOT BUY FROM BELLEVILLE HYUNDAI. DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE. AT. ALL. I am disgusted by this experience. Absolutely abhorrent "service".

Never again if it was the only car dealership in Ontario. If I could give a negative rating, I would. I would not recommend buying a vehicle here unless you want to get royally ripped off. Go anywhere else.
UPDATE: Belleville Hyundai has corrected their mistake and I am changing the rating to 3 stars. For our third appointment they picked our car from our house, gave our car a general cleaning for free, drop the car back at our house and sent me beautiful flowers + $50 in fuel cards. I must admit, this was a very pleasant surprise. It is nice to see when companies own their mistakes and correct them. Hopefully this is a learning opportunity for them as we would like to continue using their services. ORIGINAL: This place is terribly managed. Save yourself the trouble! After purchasing a brand new car from them we tried to give them more business by taking our car for a tire change. First appointment: my husband drove there (40 min drive) only to find out that the appointment had been cancelled. Second appointment: my husband drives there again only to find out that they didn't have the correct tires (or some parts). This was during COVID So it goes without saying that in order for these appointments to be booked, we had to make arrangements for work and our kids. For our third appointment we ask for some compensation given the circumstances and they response was to offer us a $25 fuel card. After requesting the link to make a review, they choose to ignore my email. It is really disappointing after all the money we spent to make it to these appointments (gas, time off work, child care arrangements...) I am not sure what the teaching is here but I hope this doesn't happen to other people. Save yourself the trouble!

Had a light bulb in my tail light fixed here yesterday- the experience was pleasant and professional from start to finish. Welcoming and inviting on the phone and in person. I'm not used to that given that I typically go to Hyundai in downtown Toronto and they give attitude and act like they are doing me a huge favor for servicing the car I bought from them. They also are pet friendly which is nice if you are running late or want to go to the park after a oil change. I bought 2 cars from them. When I asked Richard to call me back because he was with another customer, he told me he was too busy to do that. He was the guy that even sold me the car I have! Also the general manager uses pressure sales tactics, tried to make me buy their car because he gave me all I asked for and I test drove their car. But the service desk guy is nice.

I could not be happier with my decision to stay with Hyundai after the life of my 2009 Santa Fe came to an untimely halt due to the transmission seizing. She had a good little run, but being a busy competitive dance mom, working full time, teaching dance part time and renovating a house there was just no time for me to not be stuck without a vehicle. I made the decision to stay with a Santa Fe as I loved my 2009 which was gifted to me from my parents. I had never bought a car from a dealership let alone owned a car newer than 8 or 9 years old, so walking onto the lot I was nervous and traversing into a land unknown. Cooper was fantastic at helping me get the vehicle I had been eyeing up for a few weeks (a beautiful pre-owned blue 2017 santa fe sport.) He explained the Hyundai Loyalty program to me and how it could save me some big money. Jim was amazing at explaining everything and was super patient with me through the process (and even picked me up at work to bring me to my new car the night I drove it off the lot.) Cooper was on holidays when I went to pick up my new baby, so Tyler stepped in and gave me probably the most extensive walk through of the cars many features, bells and whistles that I've ever had. I can confidently say that I am a Hyundai girl for life after my experience at Belleville Hyundai. A huge thank you to the entire team!

My Hyundai Santa fe decided to go in what is called limp mode the other day, which limits your acceleration and speed you can drive. I called as soon as belleville hyundai opened and talked to alister told him what was going on with the SUV and that I needed to get it in as soon as I could because of the amount of driving I have to do and it is my only means of transportation. He knew exactly what it was and got me in right away and had it repaired withing 3hrs which is exactly how long he said it would take. Very very pleased with the service so far I have recieved from them. This is my 2nd visit with my santa fe and both times I left very happy!

I just purchased a 2020 Hyundai Kona from Belleville Hyundai for Ethan, one of their Sales rep. It was a great experience as I was treated with respect and he was not pushy. I don't like Salesmen who are pushy. The car itself I like the colour is not exactly what i wanted but it turns out that the car looks great in white with tinted windows. I just hope the service department is as good as their sales department but that is yet to be seen. Thanks Ethan and Belleville Hyundai.

Tristan and Kavan are both refreshingly friendly and professional towards a young guy like myself. Everywhere else I went it's like the salesperson didn't really try, thinking I'm a young guy who's not serious or couldn't afford it. Not these guys. I was treated every bit as well as an older person. Add to that a fantastic value proposition in the Hyundai Venue which no other manufacturer seemed to be able to match for price to feature set ratio, and I ended up leasing a new car. If the rest of my experience over the next several years is just like this, I will be returning.

Don't buy here. I purchased a 2013 Elantra LE with Gold warranty. Dealer certified used car. They sold me summer tires in the winter, the reverse camera died a month in and wanted $600 to fix. Now it's the first day of summer, I turn on the AC and guess what - no AC. Now it's at least $150+ tax to fix that, and cant get me in for 2 weeks. 2 Weeks of driving my DEALER CERTIFIED car in the hot, pregger wife and 2 year old. I wish I had gone honda. Update: Turned out the AC not turning on was from a computer update they performed. So they caused it, wanted me to pay to fix it. They eventually fixed it for free.

I bought my wife a Sonata a while back. Worst car we've ever owned. It's too bad when you have to have a seven year old car crushed. You get what you pay for. 2018 footnote. How nice of you to respond after NINE YEARS. Our Sonata has probably been melted down and turned into a boat anchor by now. The car had received the best of care. Synthetic oil changes and all scheduled maintenance and many repairs needed at huge expense. Again, thank you for your heart felt response. And yes, the car was purchased at your dealership. Update. Why do you use the same form letter for every poor review? Why do you ask if we have you mixed up with some other dealer? And why do our names not appear on your system. They only seem to appear for the good reviews. Maybe you should " investigate the issues" with a little more effort. Another update!! I found out thru the internet that all the 2.4 liter four cylinder engines were seizing up because of metal chips in the engine from the manufacturing process. Just like ours. Way to go Hyundai!????????????

I purchased my second Hyundai vehicle here this past April. They fortunately had exactly what I was looking for in a used vehicle on lot, and Paul did a great job of ensuring this vehicle was right for what I needed. The service centre is great for getting you in on time for oil changes, as well as vacuuming your vehicle during the oil change. Wifi/coffee provided while you wait. Best dealer ship ever. I have never Bough a car from a dealer ship due to the stigma that comes with it. After looking for a Veloster at every use car lot I found one here at the dealer ship. My wife and I visited on Sept 26/18 looking to test drive ‘18 sale vehicles that we had "built" online. We were both only given 2019 vehicles, of which we had no interest. ‘18 had 0% financing. We returned the next day. New rep. We let her know that we were looking to try various ‘18 vehicles, and find out if we qualify for credit, but no decisions were being made. In the process of testing various vehicles, I let her know that we were looking to purchase 2 vehicles - one cash, one finance. The rest of the night she was like a shark with blood in the water and we were clueless. We have never bought new cars, so we don't know the process. The requests we repeatedly made were to FIND OUT IF WE COULD FINANCE, and to get a FINAL PRICE ON A CASH VEHICLE. We were explicit on our intent. We were there for probably 3 hours. We kept asking after the credit check. "It's coming," over and over. They requested us to put a deposit on the cash car to "hold it" since we weren't buying that night. We put a $250 deposit down, trusting the situation. Around 9 PM the rep says, "can we make a deal on this car," putting out her hand to shake mine. I looked at her and said, "yeah, I want the car as long as the credit goes through?" "Yes of course!” I shook her hand. She asked my wife if they could "make a deal" on the cash vehicle. My wife said we needed a quote to arrange money, and she needed to think about it. "Yes, of course, but if all of that works out, can we make a deal?" So, my wife shook as she acknowledged our requirements. I'm not exaggerating when I say we reiterated our requirements at least eight times that night. Finally, we're told the credit check is going to go through the branch manager’s office. He asks us a bunch of obvious credit questions (where we work, how long, how much, etc.). Some forms get printed and we're instructed to sign. “What are these forms?” They're to give permission for the credit check. We sign. We're idiots. We find out about ten minutes later they're contracts. From their perspective, we "bought" the cars even though we had produced no cash nor been approved for credit. They dead looked us in the eyes and told us they were for credit, and they WERE NOT. By the end of the night, around 9:20 PM, we had NO CREDIT CHECK DONE AT ALL. We left feeling awful. Friday morning my wife went back and said "no deal." Beware: there’s no "cooling off" period in Ontario. There IS a facility to get out of a contract for 1 year provided you have been misled, and we absolutely were. The finance manager apologized, gave us our money back. The reason he didn't run our credit was "his wife works nights and wanted him home." Seriously. We still wanted Hyundais after all that, so we went to Kingston (they were FANTASTIC, read my review over there). Belleville tried to shut our deal down, saying we had signed a contract with them even though, TO OUR FACES, they had released us. Kingston worked on our behalf and fixed that. Here's a quick comparison of some of the things Kingston offered us vs Belleville: Dealer trade for a different colour in Belleville: $20 - $25 extra biweekly In Kingston: $0 extra Didn't have trim level in Belleville: Too bad In Kingston: Gave me next trim level up for lower trim price Sales rep in Belleville: Constant pressure, intentionally misleading, informed that if I wanted "September deals" had to pay in full and pick up our vehicles before end of September In Kingston: Relaxed, explained what was happening step-by-step, can take September deal and pay whenever we pick up, even if it's past September into October - if October deal is "better" they will revise invoice and give us that Money Down to hold vehicle in Belleville: $250 (wanted $500 but we were unwilling) In Kingston: $0 Trade in Belleville was less than in Kingston. My honest opinion would be to stay away from this dealership. Give yourself the peace of mind and commute to Kingston if you want a Hyundai.
I just recently purchased an Elantra from this dealership! Which is been a walk in they instantly approached me asked me what my needs were and lined me up with Stewart who gladly showed me around and answered all of my million questions with patience and a sense of humor. Never once did I feel pressured into buying anything. The team on a whole I would have to say would be the best dealership I ever dealt with as the business manager walked me through everything explained everything in detail and was also very patient with all of my questions. Not only were they gracious with me but my friend who is not purchasing anything at the time when they gave me a gift gift they gave her a gift! Definitely they get my five stars!!

Wonderful buying experience at Belleville Hyundai from first correspondence with the dealership to picking up our new vehicle. I requested a dealer report from Unhaggle and received a phone call from Courtney at Belleville Hyundai almost immediately. Courtney sent me numbers the same day and we drove to Belleville Hyundai that same week to look at and purchase the vehicle. We shopped around and already knew what we wanted and how much we were willing to spend and I am so glad we decided to buy from Belleville Hyundai. The staff in the showroom, from the salesman, customer relations and finance people were all amazing and friendly. They all work as a team in there, which was really great to see, and the atmosphere in the showroom was pleasant. We had been in another Hyundai showroom prior to purchasing from Belleville Hyundai and did not get that same vibe, it felt competitive and rehearsed. We purchased a brand new Santa Fe from Tyler O'Brien. Tyler was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and explained all the features of the car to us thoroughly and with clarity. He rode with us when we test drove the car, as we did not know the area that well, and explained the features of the vehicle as we went (safely), so I felt like I knew the car and felt comfortable in it before we even left the lot. The service department is always on time and if not they rectify it. The free wifi is an asset when waiting for service. Any problems I have had with vehicle or salesman, they have been more than happy to make it better. Very happy.

I wanted to give great thanks for the service provided from your staff. After taking my car in twice to a different dealership , unable to replicate the issue, I felt hesitant to bring it in to another dealership. However with the problem getting worse and myself driving far distances every week, I decided to call your service department. I had the pleasure of dealing with Nathan, he took the time, listened, and understood when I spoke about how the engine had to be hot in order to hear the sounds. Took the extra time and steps to replicate the issue. The next day I received a phone call with the diagnosis and solution, and I didn't feel crazy anymore! Everything was done in a timely manner, explained thoroughly and I could not appreciate it more. With this experience I feel such a sense of trust with this dealership as we will now be returning clients for both of our Hyundai's.
We purchased our Hyundai Elantra almost a year ago, this is our second Hyundai but first purchase from Belleville Hyundai. Our purchase was smooth and friendly and we were treated respectfully. Quickly after getting our new car home we had a couple of issues with it, the service department treated us so well, they genuinely cared about our issues and saw to it that the vehicle was looked after and the issue resolved and continued to follow up with us that we were satisfied. We have since returned twice for scheduled maintenance and are still thrilled with our purchase and how we are treated. We have also visited with our older Hyundai and had work done under warranty without issue. Literally treated like family every visit. The new drive thru service area, waiting room and show room are beautiful clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!!

Very unprofessional. Visited centre in November to buy a car and they promised to make one ready in one week. Sales guy Kavan tried to sold me returned car with misleading information. Further he asked us to wait for a week and we did. Instead of showing professional courtesy neither he answered call nor returned one. Extremely unprofessional behaviour. I would suggest to go to anywhere but Belleville Hyundai. I wish I could rate them negative.

This is the 2nd time i went to for the oil change and again same issue ,they greet and take care of you but it took them more than half an hour to start working on the your car!!(i booked the appointment for 9 am and they started working on my car at 9:30 or later),it took 1 and a half hour for oil change and then when they are out of change(3 $ )and wasted 10 more minutes and finally i said its ok and left without the change!!So basically 2 hours for the oil change! Also there is no car wash facility ! Other then that staff looks friendly!

I offered the VIN (which the counter person told me he did not need) and told him it was the inner brake light bulb. went out grabbed the bulbs that I was told to get and they're wrong... SWEET. Despite contact with the dealership and correspondence from Hyndai Lease Company I still arrive to disorganization and hidden costs and expectations. Utterly disgusted in the way I was spoken to me, basically accused of lying because their employee Denise would never forget to tell me about the fees or expectations for my end of lease, we'll she did! I then have their service rep tell me he called Denise and she reassured him that she told me .... and she DID NOT!!! Please own your incompetence and don't make it out to be the customers issue that you failed in your responsibilities. I will never return or recommend based on my treatment today, no excuses Hyundai. Do Better !!

Pathetic! Sick of this vehicle! Do NOT recommmend it at all! Go for Honda instead! Terrible customer service while phoning for warranty enquiry which has all kind of non sense excuses and more surprisingly, they don’t what to answer. They go “ I can’t make any comments”! Well what’s the point of calling and having a warranty? (Stupid). Heated mirror stopped functioning, call for support. Answer is they don’t cover it!!!! What???? Be aware of this! With regular maintenance, vehicle has been in ridiculous shape. Mileage has broken! Overall retarded! Go for Honda or any other but Hyundai!!! Strongly NOT recommend!

I had to purchase a used vehicle just before the holidays Tristan an Kavan were helpful and accommodating and the vehicle was ready within 48 hours.
They require 100% satisfaction with the purchase experience but that ends when you leave the dealership with the car. My wife recently purchased a new car there which turned out to be covered in scratches from cleaning before pick up. Such a small problem that could so easily have been rectified but they weren't interested. I will soon be purchasing a new car but it sure won't be from here. I'm off to Kia where other family members have had a great experience. Very disappointing !!!

The service staff at Belleville Hyundai is fantastic! On January 3, I was driving back to Toronto when my tire exploded. The dealership was able to fit me in for a last minute appointment, order me a new tire, and have it installed within 4 hours. I was able to make it home safely without any concerns. First of all I had been looking for a vehicle for six months, used or new on many different car lots in my area. But i kept coming back to the Hyundai Elantra. Price , warranty and finance rates were at the top of my list. It was so convenient to pick a vehicle and apply for financing on line. Once there i decided to upgrade to the Elantra preferred with no pressure from Tonya , but she informed me of the differences so i could make an informed choice. We were told we could bring our dog inside where he was treated like royalty, Thank you Sharlene for the dog treats. Last but not least was Dennise in finance who informed me of the choices but let me make my own decisions. I have never done a review about anything before but i feel this was warranted . Generally, there is nothing I dread more than going into a car dealership to buy a car. Going to Belleville Hyundai may have just changed that opinion for me. I've been to a few dealerships and typically find the sales people are 'pushy', don't listen to what you're saying, and try to talk you into things you don't need. I had NONE of that awful experience when I started talking to Sharene. I originally went in to test drive a used car, she walked us through a few of the features on it the same way a friend would if you were asking about their car, just simple "here's what it has, here's what works, this thing isn't working right now but we could look at fixing it if you'd want that feature or negotiate if not" (which that alone surprised me in a good way, most other dealers I've dealt with are NEVER transparent if there's an issue even if something minor). I wasn't thrilled after driving the car based on a few gripes I had, I asked about maybe looking at some of the newer model Hyundais, and we lead her to what we wanted to look at, not the other way that sales people usually try to go 'oh you should pick this or this or this'. This was also around closing on a Friday night, and there was no 'oh we're closing you gotta go'. Sharene was extremely patient with all my questions; admittedly I can be a pain as a customer (I do haggle quite a bit because of all my other issues with car buying previously), but every request I made was reviewed and responded to with nothing short of absolute professionalism. I ultimately got a car that I'm happy with and none of the bad experience I'm accustomed to when it comes to car shopping. I would confidentially go back to this dealership again simply knowing I would be comfortable in talking to their sales team. They actually listen to their customers and strive to keep them happy, and not in a superficial manner you typically get with a car dealer. Great job!
My wife and I were interested in the new EV crossover. We stopped in to have a peek but they had none in the showroom. They did have one parked outside and we were "allowed" to look but no way to test drive it. They are all on back order anywhere from 6months to a year. The dealer had NO pamphlets to give us therefore zero information. The young sales guy was quite clueless and didn't seem like he was very interested in selling us a brand new EV. He didn't offer us coffee, he didn't ask us to sit at his desk so he could show us the specs online, he said Ummm and aaaahhhhh a lot ... kinda like trudeau. Overall ... not impressed at all with this dealership. Steer clear if you can!!

When I walked into the Hyundai dealership Sharene Cooper was the first person who approached me and within minutes of talking with her she knew exactly what I wanted. She took me out and we looked at a couple cars. I test drove the first one and then the second one was the one that I fell in love with . The Sante Fe Sport turbo 2.0 . It has everything in it you can possibly imagine safety wise. .. Sharene walked me through all the features of the nice size screen and helped set it up and made it very easy for me to understand, even when I messed things up down the road I could call her and she would just work it out with me over the phone. I am just tired of the ignorance, quoted a different price for a key the second time because when asked if I lost a key I said yes and the price went up! Almost 100 dollars cheaper at Kingston Hyundai. Another time , they of course do an inspection to tell u what u need , which was breaks a few months ago. When I took it in for the next oil change I wanted a quote on the breaks. A ridiculous price! When I said my son could do it. Of course, they wouldn't do the inspection this time for the brakes, (conveniently left that out on the inspection )to tell me if both sets needed to be done or just one. Ok, Kingston Huyndia it is. It is worth the drive and I will get rid of the Hyundai as soon as I can. They have been ignorant about 4out of 7 times I have been in there, and three different people.

I just bought a 2020 Elantra Sport model from these guys and here are my thoughts: Amazing process from A to Z. I’m actually from Ottawa - yet the amazing rates I was offered for my business far exceeded any dealership in this region, as well as Belleville’s dealerships. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They made sure my new car was pristine and were thorough every step of the way. Even if you aren’t in the market for a Hyundai, give them a shot. I bet you won’t regret it.
Service for an oil, lube and filter was super! However, one of the other reasons I went there was a warning light that repeatedly came on. We had hit some tire debris on the highway which triggered a sensor for emergency braking system. It was a nuisance warning and I explained I felt the sensor had been jarred out of position. They checked the diagnostics and all seemed fine. They said they tried something to correct it but it did not work. My issue was they really didn’t try hard enough. They recommended I take the vehicle to a body shop and have them take off the front bumper to see the issue first hand, probably about $500 and then run it through insurance! If you want to know why insurance rates are so high- this is one reason. I declined. Instead, I took it to another dealer and there, they listened, they did a thorough inspection under the vehicle. They were able to access the sensor with little to no invasiveness and pop it back into place! Problem fixed AND...... no charge, that simple. It was my first time there and I will be a customer there now, even though it is further away! It is all in the effort Belleville Hyundai!

I am overly impressed with of the features of the 2022 Hyundai Tucson Luxury Hybrid AWD. Everything that ever wanted is inclusive and price is out of reach to any other comparable competitors models. The Tucson Hybrid EPA is as advertised 6.2 to 6.4 L/ 100 Km is factual. Just on my second tank with 1000 kms and still 200 kms to empty. Warranty is also awesome, much better than all major competitors. It is my first Hyundai purchase and have so far no regret, loves this crafted head turning SUV
Everyone at Hyundai treated us like royalty. I would especially like to give kudo's to Brock Burley, the young salesman who helped us throughout the process. He is a relatively new salesman at Belleville Hyundai. He was very pleasant, polite and helpful at all times. What really struck me was that he went above and beyond to serve us. We let him know that I like a red car and my husband likes a blue car. He went to the lot to bring a car for us to try. He must have moved at least half a dozen cars to get a red one out for me to see/try, and a grey one for my husband to try as that was the closest colour they had to a blue one. I can guarantee, if I know of anyone looking to purchase a car, I will highly recommend Belleville Hyundai, and specifically Brock Burley for their salesman.
