Went to purchase a vehicle..the general manager would not budge on their used vehicles overpriced tag. Finally after 2 weeks he came around and offered a set of tires with the vehicle that was still overpriced even when you throw the price of the tires into factor. Salesman was great felt bad he lost a sale. Went to Lounsbury Miramichi a couple weeks later walked out with a brand new car the same day. I did not feel comfortable buying even a new vehicle in Bathurst because the management seemed more interested in pocketing profit there than working with a customer to make sure that everyone walked away happy with a sale. Further...the two times I brought my brand new Chevy into there for service twice and they didn't service my vehicle properly. Had to bring my car to miramichi afterwards both times where they fixed the issue on the spot no questions asked and I went home happy. To sum this up its shameful to have to travel out of town to get good service.
Worst experiences ever. Do not recommend this dealership or buying GM at all I have about 100,000 km on my car, new off the lot and the vehicles been in the shop about 10 times. They try to grab your money for diagnosing (or most of the time not daignosing problems) that should be covered under my full warranty. I overpaid for my vehicle hugely so that I could have the best warranty package and hopefully get the best service but this is not the case whatsoever. I've brought my concerns to GM cooperate in the past with no resolve. I have decent Lounsbury service in Miramichi but should not always have to travel to be taken care of. I have two Chevrolet vehicles and with service like this I'll never own another. I highly recommend people check out Hyundai across the road.
When you drop off your car when you are covered under full warranty you should not have to agree that if its not covered under warranty that you still have to pay diagnostics? Excuse me, my cars half broken "but its okay because it is still drivable"?
when I drop my car off to be diagnosed and fixed when I have a FULL extended warranty, I would expect the service people to be like "so sorry for the inconvenience, we will get this taken care of, and give you a call when it is ready for pick up and I hope you have a wonderful day"
Not " you might have to pay for this just so you know your car still runs in auto and I can't guarantee it will be fixed under warranty so you know you might have to pay and do you agree to that?"
