On top of that, they sell quality cars for unbelievably less than any other Ontario dealerships. Ishmael goes above and beyond to ensure his customers are treated properly. The SM auto team always goes above and beyond in getting back to me and answering all my questions and concerns. They truly represent the hard to find honest and good dealers in Ontario. 11/10 for SM Auto sales!

I have purchased a few high-end luxury vehicles from S.M. Auto Sales including a 2016 Range Rover TD6, a 2017 Mercedes c63 S Coupe (with racing seats & full distronic option), a 2005 Bentley Continental GT (with complimentary brand new Continental tires), and most recently a 2014 Mercedes S63 (with rear seating package, night vision, carbon fiber interior trim, and a complimentary front plate mount). I am taking the time out to write this review as I would like to share with other parties the experience I have had with this vibrant and welcoming family owned business. Ishmael M Awan illustrated a high degree of market knowledge combined with transparency which allowed us to source vehicles at unbeatable prices. Each step of the way, this individual shared valuable insight. His exposure to the financing industry allowed us to work with multiple lenders to secure financing at great rates. His strong network of wholesalers and potential customers, allowed me to get top dollar for my Tesla Model S, I ended up getting 15% more than I was expecting based on what other dealers had told me. On the other hand, sales associate Abdul Aziz Malik, portrayed operational efficiency to get me on road ASAP. When I made my first purchase Aziz briefly mentioned to me S.M.’s expansion towards a workshop partition behind the showroom. The dealership has strategically expanded to have an in house mechanic shop in the back, this allowed me to drive out with my new tires installed and balanced. All this was done while I was signing the papers for my deal and enjoyed a compilatory coffee while listening to music in the beautiful indoor showroom. I strongly recommend any individuals, families, and organizations of different scales to consider having S.M. Auto Sales as your primary source for all vehicle related transactions. S.M. AUTO SALES is the best place to buy a used vehicle, I purchased my first car a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta. Before visiting them I went to 3 different dealerships. No one took me seriously but I heard about these guys on the radio on my way to work so I decided to check them out. Regardless of how I looked he helped me find the perfect car I test drove 2 cars the Hyundai Accent and the Jetta and I fell in love with the Jetta, he even helped me improve on my Manual driving ability which he didn't have to do. The process was a breeze and stress free. When it came to the day of delivery he sat with me in the car for half an hour and showed me the basic features and how to use. I really appreciate everything they did for me, I got my friend to buy a car the week after and he loves it too. One of your workers posted an ad on Facebook and I responded to it because I didn’t agree with the price that he posted to the car as it was heavily damaged and had high mileage. He proceeded to attack my creed which has nothing to do with the car or price, and went onto my profile to stalk me for no apparent reason and was asking personal questions and was being very creepy. I bought a vehicle through this dealership and it’s been nothing but a headache. When I finally received my vehicle and going over it I noticed that this truck did not have a proper safety done. Some of the things being wipers were ripped, tail light was out, jammed seatbelt among a few other things. I’ve been trying to get my warranty papers as my truck has been in the shop for 3 days now and I was told I was going to get them within the hour. It’s been 3 days and my text and phone calls have been ignored. I haven’t heard anything. They never provided me my warranty, the safety certificate, etc. One of the things that were agreed on which is written on the bill of sale is for the air conditioner to be fixed and it hasn’t not do I see it happening with the way this company operates. I highly recommend you don’t come here because it’s been nothing but a headache, a company that ignores you over and over is hiding something. I have all the emails and previous text to prove everything. It’s frustr that they have no problem taking your money and then throwing you on the back burner afterwards.

I want people to be aware of this place as I came across an add on Facebook marketplace or Kijiji for a vehicle that was listed as a personal sale. I messaged the person and said I noticed in the pics it was at this dealer and they told me it was for sale on consignment as they had traded I. There other car there for a new car. So I said something seemed a little off and I was not interested and they responded with a demeaning comment. Then I drove by the other day to notice the vehicle sitting there so I looked at it. I went to go in the dealer and there was a sign on the door that said by appointment only and the number was the same as the one I was talking to that said he was not the dealer. Lies and demeaning. Sad to see all the fake 5 star reviews. Disappointed businesses operate like this are still trying to take advantage of people. Stay away from these guys Love how they try to make the real reviews look like ppl would randomly write these bad reviews lol and then demeaning comments back to them like calling me Mame lol Look at the screen shots of our texts and see who is lying as this place is my only 1 start review cheers

I was happy and highly recommended them till after they got the money, they lied. Everything they said, they did not live up to. Everything they promised was a way to get your money. So, so disappointed. I don't believe in a 5 star auto sales. There is no such thing. Theres bound to be a problem. No place is perfect to get a 5 star. The only way that happens is if they desparate enough either ask or hire to have their family, relatives, and friends to put such a high review. That's false review and people should beware and not fair to customers. Very dishonest business. I somehow cannot respond to the owner's comment or the owner made it so I cannot give my feedback. But either way to the owner's comment. I am not your competitors since I do not own a dealership and if I was a competitor I would treat my customers the way I would want to be treated. Which means no lies. Be honest and up front with what you are selling. We brought the Mercedes Benz. The leather seat was ripped. Was promised that it will be fixed so we put down a non refundable deposit and was told later that they will find someone to fix it but we have to pay. But neither happened since they never bother to find anyone and the trunk doesn't close properly and was told it will be fix. Not they delay months after months and never respond when we call or text. And there were scratches which we were told we will get touch up paint but it never happen. And there was a flip missing and seat to open into the trunk is stuck. Again we were promised but nothing happen. Also not long after we got the car. The battery died on us and we came to find out that the battery was long over due since it has an expiry date and should of been replace before selling it to anyone. That was dangerous because we could of gotten stuck and cause major accidents. Not only did they not think of our safety, they did not think of the safety of the people on the road. This is careless and irresponsible and neglect. So why do you think I give you a bad review

Most unprofessional place I have ever been to in my life, notice how all the reviews are from one particular demographic; all potential customers should be scrutinizing who is reviewing this establishment vs. who owns the business, Mr. Shakeel Malik; is it any wonder why all the 5-star reviews are being made by people who are part of the Islamic/Arab/East Indian cohort? I think not, meanwhile everyone else provides 1 star, this is hardly a coincidence, SM should really understand and value the currency of 5-star reviews from people who aren't part of their brotherhood. Typical example of nepotism. Don't expect a positive customer experience from this place.

Buyer Beware!!!! I bought an ML350 from these guys. When I looked at the vehicle, everything seemed ok. Unfortunately when I took delivery it was dark (as it gets dark at 5:00 now). The windshield wipers were completely non-functional! the linkage had the bearings out of it as you can see in the pics. The rust indicates that it didn't just happen. I noticed this only 1/2 hour after I picked up the vehicle because as soon as I got home, I went to add washer fluid. Also, the glove box lock was broken. It was not like this when I looked at the vehicle, as I checked the glove box for an owners manual and it was fine. When I got home and went to put my insurance slip in the glove box, I noticed the latch was on the floor. The key wasn't even the right key, and it is clear that it was not from this vehicle. Why would someone want to swap this out? Because its $1500 from the dealer! After REPEATED PROMISES to cover the costs to repair these items, and "make things right", it was just constant stall tactic after stall tactic and empty promise after empty promise. This has been going on for 2 months now, I realize that they are just playing games and wasting my time. NOT HAPPY. Not the way to do business is a small town! **In response to your reply** I don’t have time for reviews unless someone has really done something wrong, and I don’t believe in online arguments, so this is my one and only reply. First of all, when we made the deal, the vehicle was supposed to be sold certified. After we made the deal, you kept stalling and delaying week after week – exploiting the fact that my current vehicle lease was up and had to be returned. I had no choice but to take the vehicle and have another shop certify it, with the assurance from you that everything was good as your parents had it certified just over a month ago. Obviously the wiper linkage was replaced for safety, as the vehicle is not driveable without working wipers. When I asked you how your parents drove it without wipers, your reply was “they are older” ???? You promised to cover the cost of the repair, but you never did. As you know, there were a lot of other issues as well that I haven’t even brought up here. The only fake thing is your 5-star reviews – all coincidentally done by the Malik friends and family. If you take those out, your google rating drops to about 2 stars? If you spent more effort on customer service, you would waste less time on damage control. Funny how wouldn’t answer my calls/voicemails/texts unless I blocked the caller Id, but as soon as I posted the review you spent half the night texting me - threatening all sorts of nonsense. Also, thanks for the completely irrelevant review of the company I work for as revenge. Very Professional.

Buyer beware!!!! Don't ever buy a car here! Extremely poor service and NO suport after they have your money. Car price seemed good but ended up costing me double what I paid. You take a chance buying privately but this dealer is no better. Does not stand behind the cars he sells. Salesman sold me on extended warranty. Within 24hrs and less than 200km the clutch failed. Warranty did not cover as salesman said it would. $2200 repair!! Called dealership and was told 'it drove fine off the lot' IE: taillight warranty Fought with them for 2 months over cost of repair. Seldom answered calls or returned texts. So I have had to eat the $2200 repair. Now 2 months after purchase engine is seized and $5500 to rebuild or new engine $5500 plus labour. Warranty only covers $1500 So car that was purchased for $7000 has now cost me another $7000 in repair. Would not recommend this dealer to my worst enemy!

These guys have decent prices but that's about the only good they offer. Customer service needs major improvement. Definitely get your personal mechanic to look through the car before you purchase because the efficacy of their work can't be trusted. I bought a car from this dealership and had to take it back to them 3 times within the first month of owning to get small issues fixed, each time they had the car for 3-5 days, each time I was given back a car with nothing done to it. The salesman made promises he couldn't meet and tried to blame it on external factors. Record and cover the steps of purchasing a car from this dealership as you go to avoid problems later on.

Very friendly staff, everyone greets you with a smile the second you walk in, I recently went by to car shop and was jaw dropped after seeing the huge selection of Vehicles they had in stock, I nearly couldn't have decided what to get but luckily the friendly staff assisted me and I ended up purchasing a Volkswagen Passat from here, despite the fact that my credit wasn't that great they were still able to get me an amazing financing rate. Ishmael went out of his way and spent extra time getting the car detailed for me and also included some rubber mats for the car since winter is here and whats better than a clean car? I don't know who these other people were that were posting all these glowing reviews because my experience was far from glowing. I had nothing but problems with their customer servicemen. He seemed to have no idea of the process in selling a car. He told me things that weren't true about the car, tried to charge me for things again that were previously included in the original sale of the car, and kept asking for these payments in cash. I waited 10 days for the car, was told it was taken to VW dealership for recall. It was not taken to the dealership and there was no recall on the car. And the engine service light is on. Which now I have to deal with myself at the VW dealership. I regret buying the car from them and should've dealt with a more reputable organization. The license plates took at least 1.5 hours to install and scratched the trunk and broke screws off making my responsibility to have this corrected. This has not been a good experience purchasing a vehicle. I feel that this was perhaps their first time selling a car. Not knowledgeable in the process and how to treat customers. Hoping no one else has to go through what I had to go through The issues with these guys just continues when I took the car in to have issues fixed I had the VW dealer recheck the safety they told me there were issues that had to be repaired and it should not have passed cost me 200$ and change I sent the bill twice and have not got any thing from SM auto. Funny thing about there other reviews some of the names come up on my cars phone directory guess your friends will send any thing you ask them to. I would strongly recommend anyone to stay away from this organization they are all the bad thing you hear about used car people

i purchased my truck through sm auto sales , it was delivered with missing lug nuts , and many other mechanical faults this is after it had been "certified" twice ? anyways it was delivered with over 1000 more kms than was written on the bill of sale. I was told it was "test driving", i have since tried to contact them , i was told it would be picked up and fixed but have heard nothing, i will be contacting MTO and OMVIC
