An absolute pleasure to deal with .... I didn't feel the same way with the sales end, was actually disappointed. Since our Lexus convertible was in getting serviced, I decided to look at the possibility of another vehicle. It's easy to find out what your trade in is worth, yet was offered 4K-5K below that 'trade-in' value. Overall, it wasn't the same experience as our first purchase 3 years ago in Ottawa. We purchased our car within hours, the sales staff was phenomenal at that location.

Went to pick up fluids for my 92 LS400. Waited at the parts desk for 5 minutes - the two women at the service desk didn't so much as acknowledge that I was there. I had to wander around to find an associate to get someone from parts. I knew exactly What fluids I needed - coolant and 4 quarts of toyota type IV ATF. I have waited over half an hour for the TWO parts associates to try and find it in the system!! 30 minutes without either of them stopping by the desk to ask me anything. It appears as though if you aren't there to buy a car, the service you receive will be deplorable. Will not be returning.

This review is long overdue (but better late than never! ). My husband I started shopping around a few months ago for a pre-owned car that he could use to drive long distances to and from work. We visited every dealership in the Barrie area, trying to figure out what we liked and what we didn't. We encountered a lot of sales people during our shopping outings and have to say that Tommy at Lexus of Barrie was THE ABSOLUTE BEST! We showed up at the Lexus dealership and Tommy greeted us. He helped us check out one of the pre-owned vehicles they had on the lot. He was very knowledgeable and such a straight up guy. He worked with us and our budget and goals. He wasn't pushy like any of the other sales people we had previously encountered (the last thing I want is a pushy sales person not listening to me and trying to get me to impulse purchase *Mercedes Dealership*). We ended up leaving the dealership, still contemplating what we wanted, but I left and said to Tommy that I would be buying my next car from him! He made that good of an impression. A week or so went by - Tommy followed up, but again, nothing pushy that was a complete turn off. In the end, my husband and I ended up back at the Lexus dealership looking at a different car. Tommy helped us out again and we closed the sale. I cannot give enough praise to Tommy. He is a genuine guy who knows his stuff and I would recommend him any day of the week to anyone looking to buy a car. Thanks Tommy!!

Bought used Lexus Es300h 2013 model. giving 2 starts as the sales person was very good and service department manager too. not giving rest of the 3 starts because this car has some a rattling noise and weather trim of all doors are very squeaky. to fix the rattling issue dealer replaced sway bar bushing and links with no luck. eventually i diagnosed it my self that its related to the sunroof. But when called to get it fixed, i was told since its not a safety concern they won't fix it. same as the weather trims of doors. plus there is a noise in one of the rear tire after 80km/h which was not addressed and i was told that we checked wheel bearings and they are good. one local tire shop suggested to change the both rear tires and one of them has broken or demaged.

Not a pleasant experience whatsoever. I brought my car to get detailed and looked at mechanically. I was told I would get a loaner vehicle, they refused to provide one. They called entreprise and expected me to pay for the rental. I was forced to argue to get the rental and it was a Mitsubishi lancer. The detailer did a decent job but left soap scum in a few places of the outside. The inside was well done. They quoted me a ridiculous price for tires. Cheapest quote for 2 front summer tires was 800$. Makes zero sense when I just paid 600$ for all 4 of my brand new winter tires last season(2 different sizes for front and back). That's with studs, installed and taxes in. I will go to another one of the dozen dealerships down south (I live in sudbury) next time. I told them to give back my old licence plate covers, they didn't even do that...

I came across Lexus of Barrie while looking for an SUV on autotrader. I called the dealership and spoke to John Kaliyas (Sales Manager) and from my first discussion he was very professional, friendly, knowledge and straight up, not words normally used to describe dealership experiences. I called, emailed and texted him a million questions I had ( I live in Toronto, so going there to ask questions was not feasible), and his responsiveness and willingness to satisfy my demands was nothing short of exceptional! I actually ended up buying the SUV sight unseen! Ive owned 8 cars prior to this, and have never done that before! John was kind enough to deliver the car to me in Toronto. The SUV arrived in absolutely perfect condition, physically, mechanically, electrically, in every single way. Everything he promised me, he delivered on. I wish all my auto experiences went this way. Needless to say I will most definitely be purchasing my vehicles from John and Lexus of Barrie. And FYI to ppl reading this - I have never wrote a google review before, but this experience prompted me to do so. I bought a RC350 LCPO vehicle from this dealership around 5 months ago with winters installed on the vehicle. I had went to change the winter tires and found massive gashes to the side walls of the right tires. i immediately brought the car to the dealership. At the dealership they did not want to deal with the problem. immediately after seeing me they came to tell me that the car was sold with the summers on (false) it wasn't until I had told them I had photos of the tires from when I picked up the car until they changed there mind and when with they insisted that I had damaged the tires. I will be escalating to Lexus of Canada as this was a LCPO vehicle. I will not bring the vehicle back in for service and I will not be purchasing another vehicle for this dealership. if you do buy a vehicle from the dealership there certifications don't mean anything. I highly advise you to not purchase through this dealership or verify everything that is being inspected. as a direct OEM you should not worry about this, unfortunately you cant trust that this dealership will perform there duties as required. I truly hope no one goes though with the dealership and that is why I am writing this review. 04/08/2019 (update): forwarded an email from there used sales manager to the contact given and have not gotten any feedback back since or follow up with the situation. No resolution has been made. A previous offer was made for me to purchase my own tires to replace and they would mount it and reprogram the tpms. As these tires were given to me with the damage to the tires was present when the vehicle was picked up I dont consider this acceptable. I gave the dealership the benefit of the doubt that they did not know about it as it could have been inspected however upon going to the dealership to get this resolved I was told this was likely me doing and the tires were inspected. This would lead me to the conclusion that's they new about it upon delivery however decided to give it to me knowing I would not notice until spring when the tires were swapped with the summers.

Recently purchased a 2018 Lexus IS 300 F2. I dealt with Michael from the onset of my inquiry thru email. I also got a great deal if I compare it to other 2018 F2 that was on the market. This was a clean vehicle and it exceeded my expectation. However, dealing with Michael was even better. he delivered on EVERY SINGLE PROMISE that we talked about plus more. When the vehicle was ready for pick up, I had to google and search the nearest gas station since I was an hour away and remember the car had 1/4 when I took it for a test drive. The service department is money hungry; I went in for regular maintenance for 128K on my IS250 which is a bigger service to begin with, but wait they also suggested another $1500 of routine maintenance on top of that... every fluid that could be flushed should be flushed, service rear brakes and while you're at it do the parking break, alignment and the list goes on and on and on... to be honest with you, I don't even trust them that they did what they invoiced me the day of, the car was ready to be picked up fairly quickly My car was always maintained at Lexus, has never had any issue and all those extras they suggested had been done within the last year and a half; will never go back wow what a piece of garbage dealership
