In the past I have had a great experience with the service at Mitsubishi, always getting my car in quick and doing great work on it. But I will never be taking my car there again after the experience I just had. I took my car in for a flat tire and they told me there was a nail found in it and they patched it. So I paid and was on my way home when the tire went flat again. I called back and they took me right away. They then came out and told me they had put the tire on the rim wrong and then told me I had a cracked rim and the tire was put back on my car but just to be careful as I will need to keep filling it with air until I can get the rim replaced. So I drove home and then realized they didn’t even put my tire back on my car which they had stated, but it was still the spare tire. I then took the tire to my previous mechanic since I have recently moved to Barrie. They told me there was nothing wrong with my tire and there was never any patch done to it. Mitsubishi had charged me for something they did not even do to my tire and proceeded to put my life at risk knowing there was a crack in my rim and sent me on my way the first time. Very disappointed with the dishonesty and carelessness that went on when dealing with my vehicle and I. Will never be taking my vehicle here again.

The best Mitsubishi dealership I have ever dealt with. They did diagnostics of my transmission within 4 hours and replaced it under warranty within 2 business days. Meanwhile the Yonge North Mitsubishi in Richmond Hill was holding my car for almost 10 days and didn't even do the third part of what guys from Barrie did during 4 hours. I am very happy I took my car away from those scammers in Richmond Hill (they wanted to charge me almost $500 for the job they've never done) and brought it to Barrie, where honest guys do real job. Many thanks to Scott and Rob, you guys made me believe that honesty and fairness exist and made my trip back to New Brunswick safe and sound!

We have never been treated with such disrespect as we have been with Barrie Mitsubishi! My mom has terminal cancer and can no longer drive her vehicle. We called to inquire about the warranty and other purchased packages so that we know everything before selling the car. The sales person hung up on my husband after he asked about the rust package that was sold to my mom (which by the way is a racket- big money grab). My husband called back and asked to speak to a manager- who also hung up on my husband after only asking one question. After his 5th call- and 5 hang ups, my husband proceeded to call the corporate office. Corporate called him back and said they would not be taking the matter any further because the dealership said that my husband was the issue. After sharing the information with my mom, she shared that the sales person hung up on her as well when she called to ask questions about her initial sale. WHAT??? What kind of customer service is this? After this experience we will NOT EVER buy a Mitsubishi. If Corporate doesn't have your back and the sales manager hangs up on you... why would I ever invest in one of these cars? The only good thing I can say is that the young lady in the service deaprtment and one of the mechanics were very helpful and friendly- I wish I knew their names. While I was waiting in the service area, I saw an Outlander that I thought was exactly what I wanted- obviously, I won't be buying it. After reading other reviews on this dealership, I honestly can't believe they are still in business!

Recently bought an outlander from this location. The customer service was outstanding. Brett was my sales person. He was very easy going and very helpful, wasn't one of those pushy sales people. Ordered an ajustment nut&bolt, never been called back for updates even if I called them 4 times and everytime they would apologize and say next time they would call back for sure... witch they never did. My wipers on my lancer stopped working I called to have an appointment ASAP because it could be part of the wiper recall and the man did not care what so ever and said the earliest appointment was 9 days away, I said I can’t have no wipers for that long. He came back with “just drop it off and we’ll get to it when we can”. So tell me how it works that someone’s safety gets compromised because they don’t want to work on it. Very disappointed with this location and I will not be returning. If I could put 0 stars I would. I called New Markets location and was very satisfied with what they told me as they were totally understanding and knew that it is a safety issue and also illegal to run without wipers. On a side note a few years back I went in for an oil change to the Barrie location and my car already had synthetic in it and they put regular oil in it and never asked what I wanted.

Got my evo final edition a full detail. Had to bring it back. didn't wipe the bugs off the inside dash, bug guts on the front bumper, waxed over the tar on the rear of the car that we asked to be removed and to pay extra attention to. Definitely great staff, but as for the services they leave a lot to be desired. Got it done a second time free of charge, still missed doing the dust in the vents and didn't quite clean the dirt from the ebrake. Left happy, but would not recommend.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience at Barrie Mitsubishi. I can't believe previous reviews regarding the staff! We found them to be very friendly and knowledgeable. We had our new vehicle for a couple of weeks when we took a road trip. On the way home it started to make a weird noise we hadn't heard before. We called the salesman we had dealt with. Sales reps are friendly, but don't go far to help you. I had to look elsewhere to trade in my 2016 Mitsubishi RVR and upgrade to a 2017 Outlander. Why wouldn't they want my mint condition 2016 RVR Limited with 15,000 KM?! Bunch of crazies! Edit after year(s) being a customer: Drive to New Market. Seriously, the guys in Barrie are absolute CROOKS! They weren't even doing the service jobs they were charging me for. Isn't that fraud? They are supposed to check your brakes and other things each service right.. well a year into driving my Outlander and AFTER paying for a full brake service, I just had a weird feeling and decided to take it to New Market for the scheduled service at 50,000K... Turns out Barrie never even took my brakes apart. The bolts had never been touched by a wrench. I was invited back into the garage in New Market where the technician showed me my car (in the air) and the brakes which were not passable by Mitsubishi standards (They have a pad measuring tool with green, yellow and red measurement sticks and the smallest/red stick could just barely fit in). WHT Barrie?! What kind of game is that? Why wouldn't they tell me? It made me question ALL the service I paid for at Barrie Mitsu..

I've been dealing with these guys for over 6 years now with two vehicles (2009 Lancer Sportback GTS / 2015 Outlander GTS). The vehicles have had zero major issues and my 2009 still looks perfect, so my experience is directly related to maintenance. These guys are awesome. They've fit me in on busy days when I'm in a bind and I'm headed out on a long trip. They've provided invaluable advice on keeping the cars running perfectly and the mechanics have been available to explain every procedure. The same guy who PDI'ed my car in 2009 is still there performing my 130k km service. We bought the second Mitsu on the product quality and the service we get. When it's time to replace the Lancer, it will definitely be another Mitsu and definitely from these guys.

We had a screw in the tire and needed an oil change. We paid too much. But that’s everywhere. Drove one block away and the low tire pressure went off again. Drove back and they filled it with air. You’d think they would have checked the tire pressure before giving us the car back. Especially considering we were from out of town, driving across the county.

We recently purchased a 2019 Outlander, and Brett was great as we navigated through the process. However, when we went in to sign the final contract with the business manager, our experience was negatively impacted, and left us quite disappointed. We were sold on the "10 year" Diamond Warranty for exterior/interior appearance, rust, etc., because of the undercoating and amazing guarantee for 10 years. We even asked the manager if "9.5 years down the road, if we find a spec of rust under or on the car, that will be repaired with no questions and no cost?", he assured us it absolutely would be. This was a blatant lie made to assure our sale. The following week when we arrived to pick up our new vehicle and go over the final paper work, we were shocked to see that this warranty was listed as a 5 year warranty, not 10. When we questioned it the manager came back out and said "I'm sorry if you misunderstood, but it is for 5 years." And when we recounted our explicit question: "9.5 years down the road, if we find a spec of rust under or on the car, that will be repaired with no questions and no cost?", his reply was, again "I'm sorry if you misunderstood". Telling us 10 years, when its really 5 years, is NOT a misunderstanding, especially on our part! Its simply false representation of their product, and very disappointing. In addition, when we picked up the vehicle and did our walk-around, we discovered the front camera was not working. We waited for 30 min while they replaced it. And then waited again while the car was driven off to be filled up with gas - both of these things should have been done before our arrival. On top of this fiasco, when they were replacing the camera, the service person dropped the drill and took a chip out of our bumper. We recognize that accidents happen, however, a week later when the new bumper came in, we had to spend our time, mileage, and gas to drive the 1.5hrs back to barrie to drop off the vehicle. They gave us a rental for a few days. 2 days later when it was repaired, we were then supposed to drive 1.5 hrs back to pick it up. We called annoyed by this inconvenience and cost of our time and gas, and they ended up delivering the vehicle to us.

Sales associate Brett was good, but the service department, service manager and dealer are useless, rude and incompetent. Tried to discuss my feedback and concerns with the dealer after a 6 week experience with tires. He didn't bother to get up from behind his desk to greet me, and shrugged his shoulders and crossed his arms ready to create a confrontation as I walked into his office. I attempted to explain my dissatisfaction, concerns and why we would not use his service department again and he told me his staff did everything right, (apparently not filing the paperwork or connecting with the tire company is good customer service) and told me not to waste my breath or his time. That nothing I could say would change his mind and my feedback was useless.

AMAZING SERVICE!! would highly recommend this Mitsubishi dealership especially for service!! Back in May, I had my 2015 Ralliart break down in Orillia due to a transmission problem. I had bought the car at BRAMPTON Mitsubishi, but the Mitsubishi roadside assistance would only tow it to the nearest dealership, which was BARRIE. Once Barrie had a chance to diagnose it, they had told me the transmission was shot, and that Mitsubishis tech. had found a tune in the car (engine mod). This tune, had voided my transmission warranty and head office flagged my car. At this point, I was devastated. This is my dream car that I am paying 45k for. When I went to my dealership, which was Brampton, they had told me “there’s no way it was tuned before you bought it. We check all our vehicles”. Well I knew I didn’t do it so someone had to. Rob the shop foreman at Barrie, was extremely helpful and did everything he possibly could to get my car fixed without it costing me a dime. He knew that I was serious and that I did not put this mod in. After working his magic on my behalf, talking to Mitsubishi Canada, for weeks on end, he was able to get me a brand-new transmission installed, without it costing me anything and with Brampton Mitsubishi, having to pay for it. Needless to say, I am extremely happy with the service I had received from Rob in the service department. He was very patient with me and took his own time to come up with a solution to get my car fixed when no one else was helping me solve the issue. Also, the rest of the staff there, sales reps and service techs were very friendly!! This dealership has awesome customer service. 100% would recommend this dealership to anyone.

The staff here are terrible. Of all the dealerships I have ever been to, this is by far the worst one (and I have dealt with a lot of shady characters as I used to work at a dealership!). The salesman we had spoke so highly of their customer service at this dealership and then after the deal was done, was unable to be contacted and only looked out for himself. This salesman and his manager promised to help us deal with getting rid of our other vehicle and totally screwed around with us. Then upon calling the sales manager to sort things, he began to yell and belittle us - the customer. I will NEVER go back to this dealership again and ABSOLUTELY DO NOT recommend this dealership to anybody.

Had problems with a bad seat rack that moved forward and backward when braking and accelerating, they said there was nothing wrong with it. Had problems with the hands free not working properly, they said it was fine. It was a still under warranty Outlander purchased used, it was delivered with 31 crayons and baby poop between the seats. My car had lots of scratches on it, when I tested it the car was filthy outside just like all the cars on the lot, when I picked it up it was pouring rain hard so I never did take a close look at it. As for the problems, they were nice and polite and said everything was fine. I had to drive from Midland to Newmarket to the Next closest dealer where the comment about the seat was wow is that irritating, they ordered and installed a new seat bottom, they also said someone had removed the seat previously and tried to fix it. I had not touched it. As for the hands free, they reset the unit up and asked me to try it, and it stopped working all together shortly after, they tried to pair their phone and it failed, they tried to update the bluetooth software and it failed. A new Bluetooth module is now on Order, service at Newmarket was top notch, stay away from Barrie as they are useless.

My brother and I went to purchase a used Outlander at Barrie Mitsubishi. We specifically indicated that we did not want a vehicle with any claims/accident reports on it. After we left a deposit of $500.00 we found out the vehicle had a claim of approximately $2,500 damage to it. We requested a refund and they refused! Apparently there is a law that protects dealerships. They do not have to disclose any claims under $3,000.00. So even though Barrie, Mitsubishi did not have to disclose they chose to be dishonest and not advise us. This is where ethics, customer service and honesty come in.\ DON'T BUY A VEHICLE FROM BARRIE MITSUBISHI. They are liars, made up stories and cheat customers. So do your homework because they won't volunteer anything.

I may buy a mitsubishi again, but it will NOT be from this place. The staff are horrendous. Brett was great to buy from but after the sale but after that, they want nothing to to do with you except to try and solicit more sales. Because their parts and service are so terrible, i drive to newmarket just to NOT have to deal with the barrie location. You will get better treatment and better pricing from the newmarket location. I went to Brett thinking that the sales guy may care enough to try and help....he just smiled. I had a warranty issue and they would only fix it once. after that they said it wasn't on them. Even though it kept recurring. Avoid this place like the plague.

I haven't decided on my next car yet, but my experience at Barrie Mitsubishi for getting information and test drives was very good. The salesman was knowledgeable. I told him up front I was still reviewing vehicles, and he was still helpful, professional and willing to show me all options and pricing. Went for 2 test drives in different models, and he showed me a third on the lot. Had a couple call backs but nothing too pushy demanding. The dealership is also open later than some others. Very helpful for looking after work.

While shopping for a new vehicle we looked at 5 dealerships. Out of all 5 places Ryan at Mitsubishi was the best sales person we met. Not only did he know everything (about the RVR we were looking at) and answered every question we had, but he was not a slimy in your face kind of sale guy (like we met at 3 of the other dealerships, [no one even came out at the other]). We went back at the end of the night and bought the RVR, all of the staff stayed late to get us sorted out and we had our new car the next day. I would give Ryan and all of the staff at Barrie Mitsubishi 6 stars if I could.

Although I am not reviewing this dealership as a customer, I wanted to say what an excellent experience I had with Barrie Mitsubishi. When I learned of their "Random Acts of Kindness" campaign, I messaged them on their FB page. My son, AJ, attends a school across town from us. My sons both have Autism Spectrum Disorders, and their home school was unable to meet their needs, so I transferred them to a new school. I fought to get the special needs bus for them, but AJ was unable to get it to school as he only goes half days. Since we don't drive, I had to pay for a cab to get him to school each day. He doesn't do well on long bus rides. I asked if there was any possibility of them driving him to school. It took a bit of arranging, but Scott managed to set it up. So for the past 2 months, they have been transporting us every Tuesday and Thursday. The vehicles that we were driven in were always different, so I got to see what they have to offer. They were always very stylish, comfortable and a smooth ride. I would definitely be interested in visiting their dealership when I am able to get a vehicle. Everyone that I spoke to and dealt with was very kind and courteous. I would definitely recommend checking them out if you are looking to buy a new or used vehicle.

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely deplorable service. The dashboard of our vehicle (which is under warranty) lights up like a Christmas tree with warnings. When I bring it in I'm told I might have to pay for the car yo even be looked at???? Again under warranty. As I question this for my own understanding the service rep giggles at my questions! WTH? Proceed to ask about a loaner where he laughs at me again. Complete joke. What an absolute disappointment. Scott Ferguson, I will await your return call.

2019: 1/5 - 'fixed' something on my vehicle, charged me for it but it was not fixed, I told them about it but they said the issue was due to something else which it was not...ever since Ryan left I do not trust those in CHARGE of service (the guys who work under him are still friendly and nice though)... 2014: 5/5 Did me a huge favour ...explained my options ...I actually trust these guys which is rare for me with auto mechanics.

After placing a deposit on a vehicle I was certain on buying they called me back a few days after saying it was unavailable and tried to “upgrade” me the same model but newer and was worth 3x the amount I was looking for by using their greedy switch-and-bait trick. After refusing the offer and wanting to get my deposit back, they denied it since they already did the “paperwork.” These unethical sales tactics goes to show how much of a disgrace and poorly managed this dealership proves to be as they prey on those that are unaware of what their intentions are. Please be careful before you sign or even initial anything. Better yet, avoid this dealership at all cost.

This is the best dealership I have ever dealt with. I was looking to give my car back after 4 years and buy a new one. Other dealerships would not even bother to look into it. Here Sam spent 3 hours with me trying to get a deal I would be satisfied with. The next day Nic was working with the bank the whole day to make sure it happens. words can not describe their effort, professionalism and kindness. Nic also spent lots of time to explain to me how the different warranties work. I am very grateful for their help. I used to deal with Newmarket dealership and had a horrible experience. Brett explained everything I needed to know about my car to me clearly, and gave me some great advice about which accessories to buy from the manufacturer and which to buy aftermarket. I had read some poor reviews about their service, and they admitted to past issues and are trying hard to correct them. They have a new service manager who seems to know his business well. Made an appointment for service and recall repairs, Driving to Barrie took 40 minutes, service was to be 2 hours, when I returned the car was where I left it, nothing done at all. They said they could not find the keys which were in the ignition. Drive home 40 minutes. Last time I was there the reception person was playing Candy Crunch on the computer.

The sales staff is wonderful we just recently looked at this purchasing a RVR there an the staff was great my son also has a lancer and loves it! I recently made him an apt over the phone and the young girl at the very first desk was super helpful and understanding (considering it wasn't my car!) when we came in she greeted us right away! Service was a bit slow but did what we need to get done! Patrick was great. My only complaint was just something I over heard from who I assume was an employee she came from upstairs with a couple who had a rental car brochure in there hand after she came back in I over heard her taking to another male employee saying rude things about the customer and just laughing it off .. thought it was a bit immature considering she looked in her 30's But overall it's a great dealership 10-10 recommend it!!

Worst place I have ever gotten a car from. I bought a car in the from them in the winter was told everything is good on the car. A month later took it to a different mechanic who said that the ac compressor is seized and the evaporater is starting to go. Called the dealership back and they said we'll it's 1300 just for the compressor. Got one put in and when I got it back the service maintenance light was on I asked what that was from and they said the tire pressure sensor broke and they will not replace it, even though it happened in the company's garage. All in all bought a car paid 1300 for repairs after being told everything worked still need another part, have an annoying light on and there answer is well not our problem

This is my second Mitsubishi and based on the success of my first Mitsubishi I decided to recently purchase a second. However do not purchase winter tire from them! In short I was given winter rims and needed them to quote me on winter tires. This goes back to early October. I was quoted 3 types of tires. I agreed on a specific tire and submitted the quote to my company for approval.( I will get reimbursed) I finally make appointment ( takes 9 days ) busy time of year. I dropped my car off last week the day of the appointment. Within 2 mins of my ride picking me up, I get a call from service. Those tires I originally wanted are not available. I was given two choices , both I might add are more in cost than my original quote. Again I might add when I made the appointment ( 9days earlier ) I told them this is what tire I want, you have the quote correct? YEP NO PROBLEM. (OH and I am out 250 bonus air miles) Long story short did not get the tires I wanted and my bill was $175.00 over the original quote. My company compensated me for the original quote summitted, but I am out $175.00. I have been in sales for over 18 years ! when I screw up or misquote I compensate my customer! no questions asked. As an added bonus I think my alignment is off! Again let me add , the service department and the young individual at Mitsubishi was pleasant enough. I think someone higher dropped the ball on this one!

I bought my Outlander SUV from this company in 2013. On one of my first service appointments, management asked me how I liked my new Outlander. I told him that I was not pleased with the transmission which gave a slight nudge when shifting from first to second. He didn't seem alarmed but said, " what did you do about it, take gravol?" Although it was said with sense of humour, I was not impressed. Some time later, I developed a leak in my front driver side. They fixed it at a cost of $48.50. That leak returned some time later and they fixed it. They informed me that if it leaked again, I would need a new tire. Weeks later, The front tire developed a slow leak and the company "fixed it." This same tire developed a leak at the same spot for the second time. I was not pleased! I decided to have it fixed with Green and Ross. This company removed the front passenger tire and removed a well worn nail and three plugs that had been left in the front passenger tire. They informed me that Mitsubishi had not removed the nail and the plugs. They showed me three plugs and the nail. Green and Ross fixed the front passenger tire and guaranteed it for the life of the tire. I returned to Mitsubishi and asked if they could compensate me for not being able to fix the tires. I had already spent about $200.00 on both tires. The manager in charge said promptly, " that's not going to happen!" Therefore I will not be returning to Barrie Mitsubishi.

Last year my car was badly rear-ended on my way to work and was a write-off. I felt completely overwhelmed in my search for a new car and was under a major time crunch! I test drove many cars and 2 weeks after my accident bought a 2012 Lancer. I appreciated how kind and relaxed the staff were - I didn't feel any pressure to make a purchase. Got an alignment here, not long after I noticed my car drifting to the left while driving. Was told by service rep Amber bring it in we will look at it, it would be free. After I get the car checked out they try to charge me $66. Even speaking with the service manager they still charged me for looking at the car. Do not go to Barrie Mitsubishi unless you absolutely have to. Terrible service..

My husband and I purchased a 2012 Lancer last May. It is white, has a spoiler, sunroof and the window tint was thrown in for us on our deal. We absolutely enjoyed our experience at Barrie Mitsubishi, we love our Lancer and in less than 1 year I have 40km on it. Needless to say I am in my car a lot and I love it. It handles excellent, its very comfy especially on cold days with the seat heater on, it has lots of pick up when you need it and is amazing on gas. This is by far the best and sexiest car I have owned and I will be a Barrie Mitsubishi customer for life :)

Be very afraid to bring your car to be serviced here... I had nothing but bad and very expensive experiences. I like my Mitsubishi, but they are not taking care of their costumers, they are taking advantage of them...Went there recently for a recall and the not sure what the Mechanic donevto my car...but I need a new cv shaft. Didnt have this problem before...$1200 for the part alone.last time was a big scratch on the door ...Im in the market for a new car but I will have to skip this guys. Don't bring your car to be serviced here...they will take you forva ride.
