I just purchased a used 2016 VW Golf from Sherwood Park Toyota on Saturday the 6th of April. On Friday the 5th of April I arrived at the Dealership as I had done a search of used vehicles and felt I had found one that would suit my purposes. On arrival Jonathan Armstrong the Pre Owned Sales Manager introduced me to the salesman Jonathan Cresta. I explained to Jonathan Creston why I was there and what specific car I would like to test drive. On return from the test drive Jon and I went over a myriad of details with regards to vehicle history, vehicle inspection, balance of factory warranty, and a host of other questions that I had. At this point I was introduced to the Pre Owned Sales Manager Jonathan Armstrong. Jonathan provided clear details as to the purchase price and what I could expect as a final price for the purchase of the car and was careful to explain that the final price would be determined with the Finance Director. As I was satisfied with the car and with the price I chose to put a deposit on the car to hold it, it was at this time that I met the Finance Director Jalal Redwan. The deposit went smoothly and we agreed that I would come in on Saturday to finalize the purchase. I then went back to the salesman and Sales Manager to discuss the arrangements that would be required to take possession of the car on Saturday. On Saturday morning there was a flurry of texts from myself to Jonathan Cresta asking numerous questions. I can honestly say that his dedication to me and his quick responses were indeed outstanding. Some of my questions required the Sales Managers input and Jonathan Armstrong provided those answers in a lightning fast manner. This dedication and commitment to sales was a outstanding experience in itself but there is more. On arrival at the Dealership both Jon's greeted me, At this point in time I knew that the purchase was going through and I went back to Jala the Finance Director. Jalal guided me through the reams of paperwork that are a necessary evil in the purchase process with a calm and helpful demeanor. He explained the various options for extended warranty etc and after all was said and done he had me on my way after approval of the loan on favorable terms. Back downstairs I went and it was then that I received Dealership plates as I did not have my own plates. It was agreed that I would come in on Monday to return the plates and finalize any required details. On Saturday I drove off the lot with my new car feeling confident that had purchased a car at a fair price given the low kilometers and showroom condition which the car was in. I was confident that all those I had dealt with at the dealership were serving me with my best interests in mind. Now a bit about myself so that you who are reading this can feel comfortable that this is not someone making this review up. I am a 22 year Veteran who served in Her Majesty's Canadian Army from 1977 to 2000. I was during my service demanding of the troops who served with me. My expectations and demands were to strive for excellence in all areas of being a professional soldier. If the solder performed well then I readily recognized his attention to detail and told him so. If his performance was substandard I brought his shortcomings to his attention and guided him on ways to improve. To this day if a company proves to me that they are worthy of a favorable review or reference I gladly, as in this case post one. Conversely if I have a negative experience I will with all certainty post the details careful to include the facts and not the emotions. So finally, my experience at Sherwood Park Toyota was an outstanding experience. I would recommend this dealership and the following people in purchasing a vehicle. Jonathan Cresta, Salesman. I used to tell everyone that Sherwood Park Toyota is the best dealership. The purchase experience was really good and the first year of ownership was also really good in terms of service. After a while, the increasing prices and the gouging on the cost of small services has left a bad taste in my mouth. A wheel alignment which used to cost $120 now costs $150. And their price match guarantee, is nothing but a poster to bring you into the dealership. When I asked them to price match some tires from another place, I was told flat out it could not be done. If you know absolutely nothing about cars, and you bring your car here for work, you will more than likely get the work you ask for but expect to pay much more than anywhere else. $40 to simply check my alignment for example where as the Toyota dealership in Calgary checks them for free is simply unacceptable.

We bought our 3 rd vehicle from Sherwood park Toyota about 2 months ago had some accessories on back order. The salesman Jason said he would call when they were in never called of course as they have our money already so why bother. Anyway my wife called and set up an appointment for installation today Jason said they would have a courtesy vehicle for her they did not ,offered to drive her home but said he couldn’t pick her up ? . Also they still didn’t have all the accessories so would require another appointment waste of time. They risked her safety on the crazy Ice roads today could have called and re booked thankfully she made it home safely. Nothing accomplished and I’m sure if we didn’t call they will never follow up on the accessories install as again they already have our MONEY !!!. My next 10 vehicles will be from a place that values people not just dollars. PS. The manager was zero help and hid in his office I’m sure there are better people for that job.

Dream Team- No B.S. gets the job done. 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE Sales: Gurbir Sohal and Steven Phu Sales Manager: Jo Cariou June 10 2021 --------------------------------------------------------------- We recently purchased the aforementioned Suv from Folks who meant business and I know it sounds like cliché but they indeed went out of their way to seal the deal. This was my second experience dealing with this Dealership. I'll be dead honest when I started my research into purchasing this Vehicle, this dealership was probably my least favorite one due to a not so good experience that I observed when my buddy purchase a SUV 6 years back. I met Steven Phu couple of weeks ago for the first time and discussed my family, financial and preferential needs in clear terms to set expectation that I am in no rush to make this purchase until we build a great rapport, trust and above all find a common ground where it is a win-win for both the parties. Steven Phu kept me in the loop and followed up over the weekend to make sure he is there to answer questions whilst i was busy researching and visiting other dealership in Wetaskwin, Cochrane and High River. After getting the "Best" possible price from one of the other dealership i made up my mind to visit the dealership and complete the purchase as in my mind it was practically a very tough one to match or beat. I decided to put down the deposit and complete the purchase with the "Other" dealership and I felt it was morally fitting for me to at least inform folks at SP Toyota that unfortunately I have to take my business elsewhere due to a better deal that check mark all my requirements. Steven was off and I decided to call anyways and I got through probably the best Sales Manager Jo Cariou especially in the car sales industry who acknowledged that the price I was quoting was very competitive. However, to my surprise he decided to match the offer and saved me a trip down south. I decided to see him same day in the evening to talk number and make sure the numbers he is quoting are indeed true. I was greeted by Gurbir Sohal as i walked in and he walked me through the entire deal and he coordinated with Jo to make sure I am not just satisfied with the numbers but also made me feel at ease as I was making a huge commitment in short period. Me and my wife were still hesitant to go ahead and requested some time to think and get back. Jo and Gurbir respectfully listened to my concerns and reasons for hesitation to complete the deal. They addressed all issues more as a friend asking for suggestion than a sales team who is only concerned with their sales numbers. Jo literally asked me what is i can do today to help you make this decision. I was very appreciative of this gesture and it meant that they are willing to go extra mile to earn my business. Ultimately, we agreed and put down initial deposit. Since then both Gurbir and Steven was in constant conversation with me until we got the Suv in stock and the day of handing over the day was an easy experience after all. All in all a great deal and a great team who looked after our interests which is hard to get sometimes. :)

I went into Sherwood Park Toyota to see options for getting out of a lease done by Toyota on the Trail (seriously, never go there) and I was helped by John in sales, he was extremely helpful! With exploring options to get out of the lease and into getting a new vehicle. He had also gotten his manager (Charles) who was a huge help too. The customer service was phenomenal and although I haven't bought anything from them yet and am still in my lease (due to personal choice) they are definitely the best dealership I've been to. John and Charles were willing to show whichever vehicle I wanted and were open to showing different options as well as they actually asked what I was looking for. They gave great effort to help me and if I do end up getting out of the lease and into a new vehicle there is no other dealership I would rather go to. Wish I could give more stars!

The Blake was great from start to finish. He lived up to the no hidden surprises. ***Updated 3 months after... Still waiting for parts that were supposed to be installed prior to delivery. Would be nice to get a straight forward answer instead of hearing "it is coming in this week" for 3+ months. When I called looking for refund the parts magically appeared. Pro tip: no matter how good the sales guy is don't take vehicle unless it has everything it's supposed to.

Recently I went to Sherwood Park Toyota to look at getting a vehicle, after speaking with the sales person and running numbers they pressured me into putting a deposit down. I could only afford to put down $500.00 and I made sure to ask the sales manager Eli Zahir, if it was refundable if I wasent approved for the financing. He assured me it was! A few days later they called and said I was not eligible for financing. When I asked for my deposit back from the sales person “G”, he told me I had to talk to Eli. I called Eli who I’m told is on holidays. I left a detailed message asking for my deposit back and waited a week for no response. Then I started to call different finance managers who kept giving me a run around until finally I got to Carman who told me Eli told her that he already sent it back to me. I have bank records and Email records showing this is false and I never received my deposit back. It’s now been 3 weeks and I’m still fighting to get my deposit back. To anyone thinking about buying a vehicle from here, save yourself the headache and money and go literally anywhere else. These people have treated me like a thief and a liar when I’m fact it is them who are lying and stealing from me. Unbelievable that they would do this to a customer during a global pandemic where $500.00 goes a long way to a middle class working person. If I could give them less then 1 star I would

Don't come here for a service unless you want to be ripped off. I brought in my vehicle for an alignment. They told me It needs a whole new steering rack because of a loose right inner tie rod and doing an alignment would be a waste. And that changing just the tie rod is not an option. They wanted $4100 for everything. I called around and every other place I asked gave a lower quote for the exact same thing. Quote I got from another auto shop for complete steering rack replacement was $2703 total including parts, labor, and alignment. So I took it there and said "the right inner tie rod is loose. can you check it and see what needs to be replaced", within 15 minutes of me dropping it off they told me that the play in the right inner tie rod is minimal and nothing needs to be done at this time. Just an alignment. $200 vs $4000 take your pick on what you want to pay. I've been coming here pretty much every service since I bought the vehicle from them in 2013. Will not be returning.

I usually have good experiences with Sherwood park Toyata until today (November 11, 2021 at 10.30am) I have problems with keyless entry, when i locked sometimes it unlocked and flashing 4 ways. I went to Toyota 2 weeks ago and tell them about this. Unfortunately, they can’t find anything and asked me to record a video and write down the conditions around it when it happens. So i did all of that when it happened and went to today service. My service advisor today is not even take it in even i show them what it was happen in the video. He said he can’t take it in because it doesn’t happen in the dealership… this is happened randomly and I can’t make it happen on demand…. At lease, with the previous advisor, he took it in and try to help out. Today advisor wants to charge up front for $140 for diagnostic and not even check if my car is under warranty or not… by the way , my car is still under warranty.

Well, 7 years later and I am still ticked. My husband and I were buying two vehicles and trading in two. Not only did we sit in that god for saken dealership for HOURS, we were given half of what my trade in was worth after we made a deal. They refused to inspect it until the very end, after a deal was agreed upon. By then, we were tired and famished and felt we had no choice. Upon financing, we were charged $400 for EACH vehicle even though one loan was very small. As soon as we got the keys, I never set foot in this dealership again, and nor will I again. My original experience at Sherwood park Toyota was terrible. The sales associate that sold me my 2021 rav 4 did not explain any features or differences in the models. I ended up purchasing a car that did not fit my needs. As a young professional, buying my first vehicle - this left me extremely frustrated and disheartened with this huge purchase. I called back months later to complain and was introduced to Matt Tieu. I was not interested with working with another sales associate but he convinced me to come in and see how he can fix my original experience. I ended up trading in my brand new car for another 2021 rav 4 with the premium upgrades I ACTUALLY wanted in the first place. I went back and forth for months asking questions and negotiating, eventually Matt got me a deal I could not deny. After finalizing, he always made himself available for further inquiries. After my car came in he did not rush the process. He spend over 2 hours going through all the features, setting up my app and providing many helpful costly cutting tips. I am writing this review to recommend young people looking for there first vehicles to ask for Matt. He is a fellow young, informed sales representative that will not make this process overwhelming. He understands the technology and cars very well. Avoid the old dinosaur sales rep if you can.

Even just typing it gives me a headache. However the headache didn't even start due to my initial visit to Sherwood Park Toyota. I was referred to the dealership and directly to Paulie. He was unavailable as I showed up unannounced but a rep was informed that I "might" swing by. My options were narrowed down before even walking through the door because my biggest concern was staying within budget. However I took the vehicle slightly out of my budget for a spin. It drove like a dream as I figured it would. Explaining that to the rep was easy and without pressure. After sleeping on it I returned that week to chat directly with Paulie. Crunching numbers meant it just wasn't possible to get exactly what I wanted without going over budget, even if I were to go used. To which I understand as efforts were exhausted trying to find an angle to stay within budget. I took the trusty Corolla out for a spin. Enjoyable ride with the option of making it even more enjoyable. Sport package, Sunroof, AC, remote car starter, rims, etc.... Let's not forget the leather and the ever so fun sport package. It was a group effort of the sales manager, rep and Paulie to ensure I stayed within budget and grant me with my wish list. To what I was anticipating to be a nightmare turned into a feel good turn of events. Not only was I satisfied with my purchase but I felt good about buying off this dealership. I walked away with an extra skip in my step knowing Sherwood Park Toyota did everything they could for me and did! I cannot recommend this dealership enough. Suspect you will too!

Since 2019, I've assisted 3 of my friends and family with a new vehicle purchase from Sherwood Park Toyota(they value my opinion in vehicle selections). Matt Tieu was always my go to. He really takes his time to explain all the details of every vehicle we express interest in as well as offering valuable suggestions to us. Our experience with new vehicle sales had been 5 stars for all 3 purchases. How ever there are a couple of things that resulted in this overall review to be only 4 stars instead of 5: Their finance department always keeps us waiting, even thou we had appointments made. The next was the paint protection films offered. Pretty much every dealer now offers installation of PPF and windows tinting. The window tinting was quite well done, however the PPF installation left a lot to be desired. If you do not want the trouble of taking a new (unprotected) vehicle to a dedicated PPF shop, than get it from this dealer.. their price is very reasonable and you can built the cost into your finance plan if you are financing/leasing your purchase. But if you are after high level of perfection, pay more money and take it to a dedicated PPF shop. Service department I do not have any personal experience with so I cannot comment much, however my family and friends that take their vehicles in has no complaints so far.

I wish I could give 100 stars! My husband and I went there with our hearts set on a new Toyota Tacoma, but our budget was very restrictive. Our salesman (Tyler) and director of finance (Eli), worked with us and did everything it took to make it possible for us to be able to go home in our new Tacoma that day. They had to pull a lot of rabbits out of their hat, but they made it happen! They also gave us a good deal on the trade in of our jeep. Then on top of that, they were able to get the truck detailed and fueled while we did our paperwork and even threw in 3M coating and a couple of other small things as well. When I said I can't wait they said your deposit is not refundedable. I don't know who you expect me to contact since I have talk to the used car manager and the general manager and neither one of them will even try to help. So if there is someone that I dont know to contact please let me know. Worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I recently bought a car from this dealership, when the car showed up, the car was dirty due the travel to the east coast, which was to be expected but what was not expected was the damaged rear bumper that was spray painted. Before I bought the car I seen a mark in the pictures on the rear bumper, I asked if there was any damage, the sales rep said “it was babied and it showed in the paint”. I tried to contact the sales Rep(Blake) but would not call me back. Contact the financial rep who call me and told me to send picture and information. The used sales manger(Freddy) basically told me that, used cars have blemishes and other cosmetic issues due to wear and use and that nothing could be done. Which I would expect, but no damage was reported to me, basically lied to me about the condition of the car, it also had lots of untold damage. They barely answer my emails in the emails sent I received this message. “I know this can be disheartening due to the difference of expectations”. When you are spending 34k on a car and now going to cost me probably another 1.5k to have the bumper fixed and paint. It’s very disheartening. I even contacted the General Manager and was basically got they sent you 7 pictures. They lied to me about it. They say they looked into the matter but they are covering their own. Very disappointed with the way the sales staffs are handling the situation. All they are looking for is to take your money and not take any responsibility. They keep saying that they sent everything I asked for photos. They told me to watch a video of a dirty car that you could not see any of the issues and when the other photos came in nothing was close enough to get a good look. So it’s my fault that the damage was not seen, even though i asked, they did offer 200 to help fix it. No one in at this dealership will answer emails or acknowledge that they messed up and don’t like it when they get negative comments.

Then I got an email offer stating approval for a brand new Tundra TRD pro saving me 450 dollars a month.. went in and asked about it and right away the email was a mistake.. but I could save 250 dollars a month on an all new TRD Tundra like my own, by the time the paperwork was done and signed I save 25 dollars a month.. told 5.9% down from 7%... was actually 6.1%. Either they didn't know what they were doing.. or they knew exactly what they were doing. Don't get me wrong amazing truck so amazing that I didn't mind spreading my cheeks for a brand new one but I highly recommend when you get that email a year later, tell them to roll it up tight and stick it up high

I went there 2 years back to purchase my 1st truck, I had very bad credit rating then. My desperate situation was taken advantage by the sales person and the financial guy ( east indian). I agree that my interest rate is higher than most, because of my credit rating but to tack in another 10k at the end of a 6 years financing was just evil. a 50k truck is now a 75k truck. took me a long time to write this review but lately it's just been bugging me a lot that how can people take advantage of another human being to make some money.

Am an old customer of Toyota Canada but a couple of days ago I did not have a very good experience with the manager named Chris at Sherwood Park Toyota. I went in to purchase a Highlander and the sales person first quoted me a price. I asked him to speak to the manager for bit of a discount and he went to get the quote. The manager sent him back with a higher quote saying that there are less cars in the dealership (due to production and delivery issues) and they can sell them at any price they want. I still asked for a little bit of a discount but then he came back and changed his mind saying that he couldn’t. I had practically spent the whole day (11am-7pm) at the dealership because I was very serious about buying the vehicle. I left the dealership after a while since they were being stubborn. I got a call from the sales person after a little while saying that he can do an even number and a 2 year oil change. He took my credit card information and I reconfirmed everything because I was going to sell the car I owned and take the new car home. When I got back in touch with the sales person after selling my car, he told me that the manager had not approved the discount or the 2 year oil changes that he had agreed for. This is all happened after my credit card had been put through. Hopefully someone in upper management will be able to look into this issue and make sure that managers are not just allowed to quote whatever price they want just because they aren’t getting enough cars. My friend also went to purchase the same car at Northwest Toyota and got a much better offer with way higher level customer service. People are getting loyalty discount but no one at Sherwood didn’t even offer or mention that to me. Really disappointed with this service and definitely won’t be going back to Sherwood Toyota again.

I had a deadline as I needed the vehicle deliver to Calgary by Monday. It was Tuesday when I reached out to the dealership. I called and spoke with a gentlemen name Steven Phu - he was able to answer all my questions and made the negotiate process easy and smooth sailing! I had purchase the vehicle unseen and Steven did go over the details of the car and explain everything to me as I did not see it in person or test driven it. There was a mirror cap missing on the vehicle and Steven made sure it was replaced before delivery. The finance manager Karan Singh assist me with the financing of the vehicle in a very timely matter as I was in a time crunch. They were able to get everything done by Saturday and had their drivers (I do not know their names) deliver the vehicle on Sunday (Keep in mind, the dealership is not open on Sundays). The delivery was quick and easy - The vehicle was as Steven explained. The driver took the plate off my current car and put it onto my new vehicle. The driver ask me if I would like to go over the vehicle features and on top of that they filled the gas tank to FULL before delivering the vehicle to me! If you are looking for a vehicle - I highly recommend Sherwood Park Toyota! By far one of the best car experience I've had! BE CAREFUL dealing with this car dealership as their sales practice is borderline UNETHICAL. I had called on 10/28/2021 to inquire about purchasing a new RAV4 Prime listed on their website. The sales associate checked with his manager and informed me the car was indeed available for sale and they are charging $10,000 above MSRP. I wasn't thrilled with the markup but was still planning on going ahead with the purchase given the limited availability of RAV4 Prime. However, what really put me off and prompted me to write this negative review was that he said the car is already sold to someone who had placed a deposit, but they will write up a bill of sales anyways and whoever has the highest offer will get the car. I told the sales associate this practice is unethical and I refuse to be the person to "out-bid" the customer they've had already sold the car to. I'm on the waitlist for the RAV4 Prime at a different dealership, I certainly hope the integrity of the dealership I'm the waitlist for isn't as questionable as Sherwood Park Toyota where they would break a deal over possibly a few hundred dollars more profit.

I test drove a couple vehicles and they offered to let me do an overnight test drive with the one I was most interested in so that my wife could see it. I paid a 500 dollar refundable deposit and took the car home for the night. We loved the car, but decided it was too small for us and returned it the next day. After returning it I realized I had forgotten my house keys in the vehicle and texted their salesperson Blake to check for me if it was in there. After 2 texts a couple days apart I never heard back. I even went in to the dealership and inquired about this and to see when I was going to get my 500 dollar deposit back. I was assured it would be returned soon. Now 2 weeks later, several texts to Blake and a voicemail to the sales manager's phone I have no keys and no money refunded. No one has returned a call or text and this experience at Sherwood Park Toyota has been beyond frustrating. Will not be doing business here again.

Hello, My experience with them is not up to the mark . During my purchase of Highlander 2020 they increased the interest after finalizing the deal. In pre service contract for 4 years it's just money grabbing thing. They mentioned 6 service but out of 6, three are just inception only but no oil change. I would recommend to keep your eyes open while finalizing.

I am from Grande Prairie and I bought a car from these guys and drove all the way to Edmonton as the sales person told me that he can give me way better pricing than the dealership in Grande Prairie. So I drove all the way to Edmonton to get my car. On bill of sale it was the same amount that we agreed upon but on the contract which was not shown to me they added $5800 for un necessary insurances and hidden interest rate. When I saw my contract on the way home I talked to the manager who’s name is ‘Jalal’, he was not even trying to be helpful but I got him to atleast return the money for insurance that we did not want in the first place via cheque. Now I emailed him for the refund and have been waiting for over month. So I called him today and he replied by “bro that was a month ago” we talked about it and at last I hung up saying that I am not satisfied with the customer service and he replied by “Yeah, Thank you”. He had this attitude that he didn’t even want to help and as if this was something that they deal with almost every week. So just giving a heads up if you are going to buy a vehicle from these guys, just think about it and do your research before you go. I would give them 0 stars if I could that one wrong decision costed me $5800

Amazing service! Would recommend! After the boyfriend suffered 2 accidents and wrote off his vehicle, his rental was no longer being covered and he needed a new vehicle before he went back to work in a few days. He was very stressed, as every vehicle he would call about was gone before he could even see it. We were going to see a vehicle he was gonna settle for, as it was the wrong color and specifications, but he was too short on time. We got there, immediately sat down with Anton Li. He was so friendly and optimistic, the boyfriend's mood changed immediately. Anton found the truck the boyfriend was really hoping for and started getting the process started. We then met John Inostroza, who is a total rockstar. He was sympathetic to the situation and had some wicked stories that made the time really fly. The staff here are friendly and helpful and we will be choosing this location for future services and purchases. I also really appreciated how safe and considerate they are with COVID safety. They turned a crummy day into a happy one, and no one had to settle.

Took vehicle in for Tire Installation at Kal Tire on Thursday, had wheel alignment completed. They informed me that drivers side front strut was leaking. I had entire front drivers side wheel assembly replaced by Toyota 15 months ago after sliding into a curb. I contacted Toyota in Sherwood Park and booked a service appointment for Monday. I had Strut replaced under warranty and Toyota took it for a road test and told me it was pulling heavily to the right and needed a Tire alignment. I was then told the wheel alignment was not covered by warranty. Service rep informed me this was common when struts were replaced but was not covered by service warranty. Told rep I wanted to speak to manager. Service rep told me manager was off for week and he was assistant manager and there was nothing he could do. I was told they did not cause alignment issue so it was not their responsibility to fix it. I bought my vehicle at Sherwood Park Toyota, always had it serviced there. Told assistant manager I was unhappy and would not be bringing vehicle back for any service in future because of this. Assistant Manager said I didn't bring that much buisness so it was no big loss. Floored at the lack of quality service, accountability and shoddy service that led to this encounter. If you don't expect any kind of service or loyalty from a dealership Sherwood Park Toyota fits the bill. Only sad thing is I could not give them no star rating.

Two weeks ago me and my Husband went for a walk-in to see cars on deals. I test drove one vehicle that I liked but my husband saw another car he liked. My husband payed a 500$ refundable deposit and we only signed for a credit check so that they can see credit history for my husband. And after we got home we realized we needed to cancel it because our budget was not enough. I contacted the dealership about this and they responded with not being able to give back the 500$. Me and my Husband are frustrated with this situation and we're most likely not going to this dealership again.

(Coffee is important to me) Support from sales staff (Charles, Arshad and Trevas) was friendly, informative, helpful, ready to provide what we required to make a decision, but not aggressive. We were able to try the vehicles we were interested in and they ensured we were making an informed decision. Our financing rep (Sakander) was helpful and active in getting us the best result, as well as ensuring we made an informed decision. Went to Sherwood park Toyota on October 1st with a friend around 2pm to potentially make a deal for a RAV4 and a highlander. While looking at the vehicles sales person told us that there's no RAV4 on lot for test drive. So we asked him if we can test drive a highlander as i am looking for a Highlander and my friend is looking for a RAV4. He asked us what's our budget? I said i am aware of what it goes for and know most of the features as well, we just need to test drive it. He don't want to put any extra mileage on their vehicles as there's shortage of vehicles and we don't look serious to buy a vehicle. We felt that sales person was talking down upon us based on our looks. we felt uncomfortable how that sales representative was talking to us and left the dealership, we will be buying 2 VW atlas Execline now. Never going back Sherwood Toyota again and just because of what happened, maybe will never buy a toyota.

Bought a vehicle, was never given a block heater cable, called and they insist they did. Looked everywhere in my vehicle but in vain. "I was told just buy another it is less than $100". When they are selling you the vehicle they sound good but after something happens to the car it is to whom it may concern so terrible and sad.

I received a call from an employee of the dealership the day before the appointment, and the person said he wanted to talk with me when I was there to make an offer on my car since their lot didn’t have many older vehicles to sell. Do not ever come to this place! They made our friend put a reservation fee of 2,500$ (not even a deposit) for a brand new Rav4 and when they decided to buy a different one, they wont refund them, telling that the car has been ordered already, so they got trapped and had to forcefully buy the car. They decided to pay the dealership in cash to avoid hefty amount of interest rate, hence they laughed at my friends and even questioned where will they get that kind of money. They wanted them to go through car loan. These people in this dealership only wants money! Almost all of our friends and family has good experience with and bought cars from toyota dealership its sad to know how this Toyota in Sherwood park treats their customers. Rude!

Sabrina called me back after she was notified of the poor Google review. She apologized for the "runaround" I received and supplied the quote shortly after. She informed me the dealership was having a special, 50% off shock parts and labor to install them. The quote was almost half that of the competition. I canceled my appointment with Toyota Northwest and had the work completed at your dealership. Thank you Google reviews and Sherwood Park Toyota owner for caring about the customer.

I’ve never written a review on customer service before, so that goes to show you how terrible it is at Sherwood Park Toyota. I dealt with Douglas, Mike, and Freddy. They all had their fair share of lies, and the arrogance displayed by Douglas, was sickening. I did end up putting down a deposit for a truck, but after seeing the numbers on paper, it didn’t meet my budget. When I told them I wanted my deposit back, they tried to say that it was up to the manager whether or not I get it back. I think they forgot that im a police officer, and that it definitely wouldn’t be in their best interest to not return my deposit. (Tyler Deagle)

We are beyond disappointed in Sherwood Park Toyota's service. We bought a brand new Toyota RAV4 last month and everything was working great until we decided to install a hitch.. shortly after we noticed that our blind spot monitors were not working. I went to the service shop to see if they could figure out what was going on. They said someone must've hit my car and damaged the sensors.. and pointed out a miniscule scratch on the rear side. This answer was really frustrating because there is practically no damage to indicate a hit and run that could've caused the sensors to stop working. I asked them if installing a hitch could be the reason why the blind spot monitors weren't working, and the service people said there's no way to be sure without checking and that if I want it checked, I'd have to pay for it. Where is the new car warranty? Not to mention I have a 3 year plan where all services are supposed to be covered... Since then, I've left two voicemails saying I'd like to resolve this issue. Since last Monday, I have no response from anyone. This extremely unprofessional attitude Toyota has towards their customers is completely unacceptable.

Unethical Business Deals We were approached in July 2021 by Sherwood Park Toyota as they wanted to purchase our 2014 4Runner. We quickly declined as we love our 4 Runner and did not feel the need to upgrade. After contacting us a couple more times, we caved and reached a deal on a 2021 that was to be arriving at the end of August. We put a $1000 deposit on this vehicle. The end of August came and we received no updates so we reached out to Sherwood Park Toyota via 2 emails and 1 phone call. Finally someone called back explaining that there were no longer any 2021 models available, but they had gone ahead and put our name on a 2022 with an increase price of $1435. Ok?.... The 2022 model was to arrive the end of September. The end of September came, and again, we received no updates, and again we reached out for an update. We received a reply indicating that the vehicle will now be arriving end of October. I was reassured via email that there were no issues with the vehicle, and that our name was on the vehicle and putting time and mileage on our 2014 was not a problem at all. The end of October came, and again, no updates from Sherwood Park Toyota! Again, we had to reach out and get an update. The sales manager called us back to inform us that the MSRP has gone up recently and he can no longer honor the deal we had made previously. To say we were angry is an understatement!! This is the sales person’s message to us; ”Business is business. There is no emotion is sales, and we can make more money due to the supply and demand situation than on the deal we had in place” This is so unethical! We were strung along for 4 months! We don’t believe in doing business this way. This is bad business. So we will purchase our new 4Runner somewhere else. Interesting to see a google review from just a month ago from a customer that was offered a vehicle at $10,000 above MSRP, that also had a deposit on it. He declined the deal as he too felt this was unethical. We contacted AMVIC (Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council), who strongly agreed this practice is extremely unethical. They encouraged us to file a complaint with BBB and AMVIC and social media outlets. To Sherwood Park Toyota…..please spare us your generic “cut and paste” reply. If you choose to reply, reply with some sincerity.

My fiancee and I had been shopping for a pre-owned Tacoma for a few months now. We live in Calgary, and have struck out at other dealerships mostly due to poor customer service. We decided to look outside Calgary, and found Sherwood Park Toyota. We found a smokin' good deal, called in and chatted with Landon to see if it was available to test drive. Next thing we knew, we were up at 5:30am, and driving from Calgary to meet with them for 9:00am the next morning. This was our first time buying a truck, and Landon was absolutely the best. He was incredibly friendly, easy going, and no pressure at all. He showed us all the features the truck had, and compared it to other trucks we were looking at. After the test drive, I was all in. My fiancee, however...took some convincing, and I mean convincing! We met with John in finance who was probably one of the most patient people I've ever met. As we hummed and hawed over the price and whether this was right for us, he and Landon waited. We decided to get some air and think things through further, and thought about it in the rain. Landon and John, still patiently waited through our whole thinking process. We were probably nightmare customers as the whole process took nearly all day, but you would never know from the two of them as they remained friendly and pressure free the entire time we were there. We finally decided that this is the right vehicle, and signed on. After a long wait time on the phone with insurance, Landon - knowing we had a 3 hour drive ahead of us - offered to get us going and sent us home with a loaner plate. Absolute above and beyond customer service and gem of a human. Can't thank you two enough for such a good experience. I know this truck is going to last a long time, and when the old lady's car bites it I know a road trip is in order. I promise we'll have less thinking to do!

DISHONEST USED CAR SALES. I worked with one of the used car salesman to coordinate a purchase from out of province. The car had a great carfax and the salesperson took videos for me, showing the car was in great shape (Which it is - mechanically and visually great!) HOWEVER, I asked specifically about the car being smoked in, and he “confirmed the car had never been smoked in.” When I flew to pickup the vehicle, I opened the door to an immediate and unmistakable smell of smoked-in car. The salesperson took advantage of the fact I wasn’t there in person to view the vehicle when making the deal (lesson learned). Another salesman tried to Jedi mind trick me, denying smelling anything. But any non-salesman I asked, including smokers, stated undoubtedly the car smelled of smoke. The used car sales manager took $1000 off the price of the car to compensate, but the salesman also lied about our agreed-upon price!! We agreed on an “all-in” number, but he conveniently “forgot” or “didn’t realize” over a thousand dollars of fees I would have to pay. the attempted deception and lies cannot be pardoned from this used car sales team. BEWARE WHEN BUYING A USED CAR FROM THIS DEALER.

I was lied to about my delivery date . Because I use my vehicle for driver training I had to remove the training brake from my old vehicle and then put it in the new one. Because vehicle did not arrive when I was told I had to pay for removing the old break then reinstalling it in the old vehicle. Because I needed that car to teach driver training. My cost out of pocket was several hundreds of dollars. I was also told I would receive a cheque for $300 dollars and to pick it up at the front desk. That never happened. I was lied to for a second time. Stay away from this dealership.

I just got my Rav4 hybrid. I got it little earlier than I was told which is great. Tuan my sales guy is great. He went above and beyond. He even gave me a ride to pickup my car. Thanks Tuan. A couple of things that I noticed, the interest rate was a lot higher than I was told, and the finance person was extremely pushy to sell extra warranty and other packages. Other than that, it was almost a great experience.

Jun was a great salesman. He knew more about my rav4 than I expected him to. He wasn't pushy at all. On delivery day, the sales manager came out and thanked me for the business. It was a nice touch because that store is always busy, and he found time to step away from writing deals to thank me.
