What a great place to get a vehicle. I have never had an issue with this dealership. I've always left feeling valued and appreciated. I just recently got into a new Tacoma. Ben was a great sales associate. At no point did I feel pressured or pushed into anything. I will for sure look to him for any future vehicle inquiries. Rick in finance was one of the funniest people I have ever dealt with when dealing with a vehicle purchase. Really laid everything out for me and made sure I knew what I was getting into. Save the trip to Edmonton or Calgary and go to Red Deer Toyota for your next vehicle. Also just had our Highlander detailed and we got it back looking and smelling brand new.

Honestly I was very anxious going into Toyota but Jathryn ended up making me feel calm and helped me find a vehicle that suited my immediate needs as well as what could and will work for me in the future. I have been to a few dealerships around Red Deer but all of them were fairly pushy or I did not understand what was fully going on (I've never bought a car via a dealership before, I just had an old beater) and she as well as the Toyota staff in general made me feel a lot better about making this really big decision. We couldn’t have had a better experience at Red Deer Toyota. From the moment we walked into the dealership our sales representative, Stephen, made us feel comfortable and genuinely wanted to find us a vehicle that would be perfect for us. He was very knowledgeable about all of the Toyota products we were considering. We didn’t once feel pressured and our experience was very relaxed. The sales manager, Ryan, was exceptional in dealing with our trade in and ensuring the vehicle we were purchasing was exactly what we wanted. Once our new vehicle arrived, Stephen went above and beyond, showing that he cared with his follow up and his personal touches including marking important pages in our owner’s manual for us. I have had the worst experience. They order me the wrong truck right off the hop so they never listened to what I wanted. then I had an issue with a weather strip. after 5 attempts it still looks awful. they also ruined all of the letters of my vin sticker so I asked for a new one. they just tore the old one off and left the peeled sticker in my door then put the new sticker I a different spot so everytime I open my door I get a reminder of there poor service. They have made all of the necessary steps to correct my problems. So I say they are good for that. I think I had some bad employees dealing with me originally

I called to schedule a diagnosis for a shaking /vibrating front wheel passenger's side problem for which Toyota Camry 2017 LE is noted for. I am not a first time client. I called initially at around12:45 pm today and again around 4:00 pm to make an appointment and was bounced around to Jeanine and over 6 people, phone was dropped many times when being transferred and had to call back 4 times. Service advisors will pick the phone and drop it. VERY SAD AND DISSAPOINTING.

Posting this review about my boyfriend's truck. This has been our experience, if I could give 0 stars I would. These are his words that he shared on FB today. "I own a 2012 Toyota Tundra TRD, 70,000 kms on it and “babied” every km along the way. I have all maintenance records. Awhile back one of the cylinders went through the engine block rendering it inoperable. I was driving 120 km/h on the QE2 in AB. Prior to this Toyota had covered a few engine malfunctions (water pump, oil leaks, etc) under my “extended warranty” which wasn’t cheap. I have a statement from the service manager at Red Deer Toyota that they were “unable to find a direct correlation between the engine and the lift kit”. Despite this confession I was denied any and all coverage regarding the replacement of the engine. They continue to ignore and refuse to respond to the Better Business Bureau concerning this matter as they claim, they don’t cover engine malfunction once any after market work has been done to the vehicle. *This never was an issue in previous warranty work to the engine*. Yesterday I had my Tundra towed to my residence to find that most of the engine components (still drooling oil) as well as an uncapped (no lid), large pail of used engine oil was placed INSIDE THE CAB before transit. I had visited the truck on multiple occasions before it was towed and these things were not in the cab at such times. Needless to say the interior of my very lightly used (and very expensive I might add), Toyota Tundra is drenched in old oil and transmission fluids. Not only has Toyota dishonoured my extended warranty coverage but they’ve damaged the interior. I would’ve been more than willing to cover the costs of proper oil disposal. There was absolutely zero communication that they might want me to deal with the oil. "

Have an oldie but a goodie 2005 Toyota Corolla..270,000 kms.. Never let me down! Except the heater blower/fan was not putting out like it should. Talked to service and wonderful Charlotte mentioned a plugged cabin filter.. which i was unaware my car had. She got me to pull my car in and sweet Paige took out my very plugged filter and replaced it with a new one i purchased!! Will at the Parts Counter is a Parts Ninja. Will is very knowledgeable and helpful. One time I ordered parts and was going to have a friend pick them up that day. Turns out the friend was going to stay the night. Will called me to double check if someone was coming as they were closing soon and he could put them in a drop off spot. You can tell Will cares about doing a good job. I love having a guy in parts that you know is going to order you the right parts. Doing an e-locker swap on 3rd gen 4Runner and you call Will up and give him the VIN and he is quick to tell you all of the info you need. Thank you Red Deer Toyota for hiring a Parts Ninja!

We went in looking for a van. They tried to sell us a van used as a rental van. At this point it was an OK experience. They appraised my trade and I knew what it was worth based off my research and an appraisal done the same day. They offered us 9500.00. I told them no deal unless they did a lot better and they came back with 10500.00. They kept preaching about why there book value was lower than the rest of the world. There pricing is favourable to Red Deer Toyota and everywhere else is wrong. We walked away and went to GoAuto. Found a van and they gave us 14000.00 for our trade. You be the judge. Toyota is a great product but Red Deer Toyota not so much.

Love Toyota products and vehicles but I can not say the same about this dealership. My wife brought our car in for an out of province inspection and they quoted her $3,500. Since we just had on completed less 7000km prior I thought this was a bit strange. When I talk to the dealership the mention things like “spark plugs” , “diff fluid”, “tranny fluid flush”. After we exposed this wasn’t needed for an out of province inspection we got on with the pricey stuff. Apparently all 4 struts (?) started leaking at the same time recently. Plausible I guess. All 4 rotors needed to be machine , even though they are brand new and dealer installed less than a year….ok … things happen. A new A/C filter and wiper blades. That took the bill down to $2800. I understand we are in weird world right now where money can be tight and it can be hard to try and make some. I guess even more in the Auto industry. My verdict- you pay a premium when you bring your vehicle to a dealership. I thought that premium was for top notch service and professionalism. You will not find neither here. We love Toyota Brand but not all dealerships are same. We are only down $350 for the inspection. Which is the highest in the country but I will gladly support small business for this moving forward. My lesson has been learnt. Hopefully I can help others not lose there hard earn money for nothing. Oh, also- they wouldn’t not give us the form back that is required for the mechanics to fill out. A bit petty if you ask me.

Overall great experience. The original purchase of our vehicle and the subsequent required services have all gone well. Red Deer Toyota is a well managed, clean and efficient dealership. We have found their work to be thorough and always completed within their time estimates. The staff is extremely friendly and they all go out of their way to be of assistance. Purchased a Toyota Sienna from Jim Brown in Spring 2009. Was informed that the Nav System and Back-up camera from Toyota's factory would take too long. So I was "up sold" to an after-market system by Mr. Brown which they installed. This was to save us $1,000 on our purchase price. To date, I've lost over $2,500 in income due to 4 separate appointments to get this "great system" fixed. They haven't charged me anything, but the time and billable hours I have lost shuttling back and forth to deal with this has cost me more than the system was worth in the first place! Not impressed, and will never buy from them again. Update July 20, 2011 - still not fixed, going for appointment number 5!

Friendly staff BUT overall a poor cousin to the bigger Toyota dealers dealerships in Calgary and Edmonton; We took a RAV4 hybrid in for a service and the facilities were pretty basic overall. I took the opportunity to talk to a salesman about new models and was really surprised by his lack of product knowledge and then when my car was ready the "complimentary car wash" was more of a "distribution of dusk"!!! It was a laughable attempt at cleaning a vehicle! I love to support to "little guy" but the little guy has to be trying for this to work! So.. overall, unimpressive.

The Honest Truth. I'm writing this review to the public to inform customers, and future customers about Red Deer Toyota. This review is simple the truth, and nothing more, with the most respect and gratitude. We have always been loyal customers to Red Deer Toyota since 2005. We love our Toyota's and will always continue to drive Toyota's, but we will no longer be dealing with Red Deer Toyota. Since 2005 we have purchased 7 vehicles from Red Deer Toyota, also recommending friends and family to Red Deer Toyota. Two months ago we traded in our old Tundra for a new Tundra, we dealt with our salesman that's been working with us since our first purchase. We quickly got numbers on the new truck, and we went home to talk about it. This time I decided to get another Toyota dealer involved just to make sure we weren't getting the run around. My father did not want to get another dealer involved because we were loyal customers to Red Deer Toyota and were always looked after, but I knew something smelled greasy. The other Toyota dealership came up with a price that was MUCH cheaper with better perks. I was shocked, and disappointed. We are a family that sticks to our word, and we went back to Red Deer Toyota to show them the numbers that the other dealership gave us, we gave them the chance to make it better. After a full afternoon of waiting around the dealship and talking with 2 different managers, we finally got a verdict. The manger that we were dealing with seemed like it was his first day on the floor. The manger was very unprofessional when dealing with business, and got alittle "hot headed" when we told him about the other dealership. The manger finally came close to the price that the other dealership gave us, which was fine. Then it came to delivery day, we still had a few things to sign. During the signing process we noticed almost $1000 that was going to be charged to us. ( The previous day we made a full payment on the truck that was being traded in) We asked what this fee was about, considering the billing date was not for another 2 weeks. The financial manager quickly got the sales manger involved. The two mangers talked for five mins trying to find an answer, for why there is that fee. After discussing, they said, we will take care of this fee. That makes us believe that they were trying to pocket an extra $1000 on this deal. After the delivery we were on the way home and we were disgusted with the service that we got from our home Toyota dealership. It's been 2 months and we still have not gotten a courtesy call from our salesman!!! This is only one issue out of many that we are addressing about this dealership. We have nothing good to say about there service department, and now we have nothing good to say about the entire dealership. My recommendation for future customers is to drive the extra hour to Country Hills Toyota, because they have professional service, and chances are they actually have stock.

Two weeks ago I went into Red Deer Toyota in need of a new vehicle. I was teamed up with Brent. Brent was very knowledgeable on all vehicles on the lot. we worked towards a used Rav4. He was on myside from the start being honest and fair with all of the back and forth. The used car manager Ty was just as honest and up front has Brent. I received an online quote from Scott at the time I was looking at a used 2018 Toyota Tacoma at a used car dealer. Scott was very helpful. He questioned me on exactly what I wanted for options. Within an hour he provided me with a very good price on a new Tacoma in the color I wanted. I came in and test drove the vehicle the next day and I was allowed to keep the vehicle overnight. The next day I bought the Tacoma. The vehicle was prepped for me the next business day and it looked great. Scott provide me with an orientation on how to use the features of the truck which was helpful. There were no surprises when I finished filling out the final paperwork. All and all it was a very pleasant and stress free experience.

Extremely poor. I ordered a trim piece for a customer of mine last summer and while I understand it is outside their return policy or 30 days, I was mostly interested in finding out what happened, and how I could have the correct clips but a window trim piece for the incorrect vehicle(ordered at the same time). I supplied the Vin when I ordered and some error was made somewhere. Instead of at least finding out what could have been the cause and going from there, he decided it was more important to remind me of the return policy 3 separate times. Going as far as reading out the policy back of the receipt to me. I would have accepted admitting to the error and purchasing the proper trim and cutting my losses but clearly he was more interested in getting out of the error made initially. I will not be back and won't recommend anyone else to deal with the parts department after my experience. The piece was 70 dollars, I will take purchase elsewhere from now on.

I have been a toyota owner for over 25 years, between my former husband and I we had 4 toyotas in that time that we loved. Red Deer Toyota has put an end to that last fall (or at least has made the idea of getting another Toyota quite unlikely). It was last fall I had my vehicle scheduled in for service and brought it in for the 7:30 doors opening time to ensure I'd get on the shuttle (7 person van) to get back to town to ensure I'd make it to a course I was booked in to attend. I got there 7:40, traffic slow that morning as we'd just got a tremendous dump of snow the day prior. On getting there I handed my key and asked about the shuttle as I did not see it outside where it should be. I was told it had already left for town. Left? The doors were only open 10 minutes? I ended up waiting 40 minutes for the shuttle to return to get me to town and found that the shuttle driver had left with only TWO people in the 7 passenger van. I was quite anxious as I was fearing not making it to my booked appointment in town. As it went, I did not get back in time and had to rebook the course. At the end of the day when I went to get my vehicle I was then told that now it needed all 4 struts replaced. (the maintenance was a regular maintenance, but they did manage to find other 'minor' issues making the bill for the day quite a significant one already and then tell me I needed struts). I was going to book the appointment but I made a request to perhaps have a loaner vehicle set aside so I'd not be at the mercy of a shuttle driver that takes off in under 10 min of door opening with merely 2 people aboard. I was told I could not use a loaner as they are for people whose vehicles are not drivable and mine would still be drivable. I asked then if perhaps the way the shuttle operates could be looked into to better serve the customers. I was told maybe I should try to get in on time. REALLY??? The doors open at 7:30 and with severe snow I was in for 7:40... I don't know about everyone but I really don't think that is a tardy arrival time given the road conditions??!!! The woman at the booking desk (Kathy W) was totally unhelpful - she portrayed a person who ldid not give a damn about the customer and would not do anything to try to make the next experience an improvement. She denied allowing for use of a loaner vehicle nor passing on to the appropriate people a consideration of using the shuttle more appropriately to allow for more than 2 people to use it at a time and so I requested speaking to a manager. She would not get me a manager. She was, in my eyes, the absolute opposite of what one should have as the front staff interacting with customers. In the end there was no attempt to please the customer (myself) with regards to transportation back to town and no apology for leaving me stranded in the morning with a 40 minute wait for the shuttle to come back. As well, the struts - well I did not book them in and had them looked at by another party and was told they did NOT need replacing. So.... there you have it, they were going to take advantage of my lack in mechanical skills to get me to pay for a pricey fix that was not even needed!!! I shall try Another Toyota dealership for any work to my vehicles or future purchases as I have read others have done. I need a place where customer service is a priority, Customer services doesn't matter one little bit to these fools.

Very disappointed with the service. I got an oil change appointment after five days for 10 AM. Went they’re at 9:45 and They returned my car at 11:45. They took two hours just for the oil change. We have five Toyota vehicles and will never be visiting again as it’s just so much waste of time. If you ever decided to go there for oil change make sure you can wait for 2 to 3 hours.

I've had a few experiences with the Service department here, and while I'm really please with the service advisors, I think the quality and care from start to finish could be improved. On my latest visit, the plastic seat wrap and paper floor mat were left in my car, which isn't a big deal, but it's not something I've ever had elsewhere. The service advisor I've dealt with on both my previous trips (Charlotte) kept me updated on everything and tried to find the best solution for me. Overall, it hasn't been my favourite place to go for service but it definitely hasn't been the worst either. I trust them with my car and don't ever feel like they're just trying to get money out of me for unnecessary service.

I noted this dealership's pride in claiming values of openness, honesty, integrity and respect. These are my values too. I was disappointed when I took my vehicle in for service recently and something happened to it. Nobody spoke to me to tell me what happened, no one answered my calls or e-mails. I am left to question these values and whether or not this service department is what it claims to be. Take a picture of your vehicle before you take it in and don't expect the advertised values will be honoured. Further to the incident above, I took my vehicle back in to have a repair done. When it came back I noted that the odometer had been advanced over 3000 km., bringing it much closer to its 100,000 km check. When I asked for an explanation, none was forthcoming. Honesty? Be sure to check your KMs in and out when using this shop.

Brought my 1992 Toyota for an out of province inspection at 10am, and the car wasn't ready for pickup until 3:30 pm. This service should take 2 hours. When I came to pickup, I was hardly acknowledged, and it felt like they just wanted to receive payment and see me off. The standard of which my vehicle was assessed seemed very high given the year, and some of the issues quoted on the inspection were in my opinion not to do with the safety of the vehicle. They also performed a 'complimentary wash' without asking first, as I would have said no would I have known. I expected better treatment, therefore I may not take my Toyota's here again.

Terrible experience. Shopping for a new vehicle. Sales staff used cheap, greasy sales techniques. Disingenuously thanking me for things like telling him what I want. Pushing me toward vehicles on the lot rather than what I wanted. Straight out lying about gas mileage (said a highlander hybrid would get 37 MPG). When he looked on his computer to verify this, he paused for a while, smiling at his screen as if to show his delight for us upon realizing the amazingness of his MPG discovery. To bad it was a straight lie. He asked his manager (who looked even sales-greasier) to join whereby they wasted our time pressuring us to test drive this highlander when we came looking for a highly efficient car. Will not buy there.

We bought our first used car from here on Aug 29, 2020. It's 2017 Hyundai Tucson SE. We got a warm welcome by Amy (product advisor) and Ti ( used car manager). Amy was in touch with me since last one month and she always send me photos, new update, details about any car I enquired from her. She is cheerful, patience and amazing product advisor. Lacy the finance manager was also nice lady, helped us in filling paper work. Even she arranged the delivery of car to Calgary from Red deer. Its wonderful small SUV front wheel drive with remote starter, backup camera, moonroof, power driver seat, new set of tires, mileage is little high 150K but we are assured by Ti that if anything major happens they will take care of it, what else a customer needs. That's a huge relief for you, specially when buying a used car. Spacious dealership with all amenities for the customer. Staff is very welcoming. I will recommend this dealer ship to buy a new or used car to my family and friends.

In April 2019 my wife & I decided to buy our first truck to haul our new holiday trailer. Before contacting Red Deer Toyota, I searched online for reviews of their salespeople. We felt fortunate to come across Jathryn Chappelle’s name because she was absolutely fantastic to deal with. Jathryn quickly understood our family’s needs & identified the trucks in their lineup that would best suit us. She was very knowledgeable about the Toyota inventory & discussed our options very clearly. At no point did she push us to buy a Toyota & she encouraged us to explore options with other dealerships. She never trashed other makes of trucks, but was confident that we would settle on a Tundra. We were given the freedom to test drive a truck without having a salesperson with us & we were encouraged to take our time with it; in fact, we were allowed to bring the truck home overnight to ensure it would fit in our garage. During a couple of our visits to the dealership we had to bring our two young children & Jathryn did an awesome job of keeping them entertained (and quiet) while simultaneously doing business with my wife & me. The ONLY negative experience we had with Red Deer Toyota was that during our first discussion with Jathryn & the Sales Manager, we were asked if we knew anyone who had purchased a vehicle from them & we confirmed that we knew of two people. Several days later when we finalized a purchase, the topic of a referral never came up & we didn’t realize it until a day later. At that point, we were told that it was too late to give the name of a friend who referred us there. We are very pleased with our Tundra & we will absolutely buy our next vehicle from Red Deer Toyota & Jathryn. My wife will attest that at least twice a week I’ll stand in the doorway of my garage just staring lovingly at my 2019 Barcelona Red Tundra TRD Sport.

Bought a 2012 Tundra Crew Max Plat, love the truck. The service department is garbage at this location. They never properly transfer you to the right department, which leads to multiple calls and then having physically drive down just to book an appointment. I have brought the truck in to have items fixed and they have never called me back to advise they received the parts. I will not purchase another vehicle from this dealership.

She actually hung up on me and that was super unprofessional. I tried to call back, no answer. So I left a message and still no return phone call. Visited Jan 3, 2022 to see about test driving 1 of the 2 available used 4runners on the lot, as I was interested in replacing my Corolla with another Toyota vehicle. Went into dealership to ask about the 4runners and no sales person would assist, they kept walking right past us. No other customers were present. Went to a different dealership and purchased there instead. I had my Corolla for 9 years, but am no longer a loyal Toyota customer.

I would give a ZERO star if I could. The experience with the general manager Garry Skakun was horrible. We bought a brand new 2016 Honda Civic EX from him when he worked for Honda in 2016. He promised us many times that the car had all the standard features. However, the car came without air conditioner. I never met a person without professional ethics like him. Response to Red Deer Toyota: Unfortunately, this is my first time writing a review. Garry left Honda. However, the issue has not been fixed. I hope my review can alert other customers and prevent them from being cheated again. It is terrible that this happened from a general manager; also, We are waiting response from Garry. Air conditioner is a standard feature for a 2016 Honda Civic EX. How and why 1) did not install in our car. 2) where is Garry's promise to his customers? Red Deer BBB says "start with trust". This is what I am looking for.

Very disappointed in the customer service. Test drove a car on Monday night and the salesman we were working with honestly knew nothing about cars. He kept telling us that he just sells the car he is not parts and service. After being put what feels like the ringer for 4 days I finally had enough. Was told earlier this afternoon that all of my financing was approved. Only to be called a short time later to tell me that was not the case. Why would you tell us that everything was good and we could sign paperwork tonight then all of a sudden oh wait no it's not approved. What kind of customer service is that? I honestly expected more from Toyota. My family has been driving Toyota's my entire life and we have always had exceptional customer service. Well that was in NS apparently same standards don't apply to Alberta. Just all around disappointed. Should have went with my gut feeling after going for the test drive on Monday night when the salesman didn't have any answers to some of our simple questions or offer to try and find out for us. Btw salesman was Mo. If I ever decide to buy in the future I will be going to either Edmonton or Calgary. Not going through this with RD again. Want to clarify I'm not upset about not being approved I'm mad for the way things were handled or I guess not handled.

Really poor service. Stephan (Stefan?) took me into his office and asked me a bunch of questions and then when I said exactly exactly what I was interested in looking at he ignored me and kept asking questions. He had a really poor knowledge of cars he was selling and sent me out to look at something that I wasn’t remotely interested in. He would not even let me into a car, instead he just kept asking if it was something I was going to buy. How am I supposed to know if I would want to buy that car if I haven’t even sat in it? It felt like he was talking down to me the whole time. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend this dealership at all.

I've had my Toyota pick up in to Red Deer Toyota twice now and my service rep Charlotte has got to be the BEST customer service rep I have ever dealt with. She is conscientious, knowledgeable and understands a customer's needs. As long as shes there I will always take my vehicle there. I had to get a part for my battery posts about 10 years ago. I walked into parts and as it was part of a recall they gave me the part and I was on my way. The best dealership in Central Alberta. You wont be disappointed.

While speaking with our salesperson was a decent experience, their "management" team, a term I use very loosely because I can't believe if they can even manage tying their own shoe laces, are dishonest, condescending in response, sleazy and signify every sales stereotype that is known. We will take the extra time and visit other Toyota dealers for our purchase and am adamant that everyone else do the same.

One of the best experiences I have had buying a new vehicle at a dealership. Tony in sales was friendly, knowledgeable and provided a no pressure approach. Ben in finance was great to deal with. All of the numbers he provided were easy to understand in transparent. There were no hidden fees they tried to sneak in like other dealerships such as documentation or bogus security stickers. The young mechanic that work on my car this winter stole my brand new tire nuts that i had left under my front siege. I just notice it 3 months after when its time to changr my tires. But of course they will say i dont i have proof but i just gonna say this. This is a bad dealership. I got my first vehicle from Red Deer Toyota in October, a 2020 Toyota RAV4. Before this one I had previously owned two other vehicles that I purchased used (neither were Toyota’s) and now I’m not sure if I’ll ever be able to get any other vehicle than a Toyota. I got the base model and my main reason for deciding to go with a Toyota versus another brand is that Toyota does not leave any of their safety features out of the base models because they believe that you shouldn’t have to upgrade your model to assure yours and your passengers safety. My RAV4 is comfortable, practical and super fun to drive. My experience at Red Deer Toyota was more than 5 stars. When you go in it’s very clean and professional but it also isn’t an atmosphere where you feel out of place or pressured. I dealt with Ben, who sold me my car and was there throughout the whole process. From the start he made sure to be open and explain any questions I had but he never made me feel like my question was annoying or something I should know already (even if it was :P) He never hovered or talked over me and also never tried to pressure me into any decisions. Ben let me have time to look over the vehicle myself, as well as the financing options and any other decisions which showed me how much he really does care about his customers and making sure they’re happy with their decision. And he went above and beyond by driving my car to my work so I didn’t have to wait until the next day to go and pick it up. And for the rest of the team whether I was dealing with them or just passing by them everyone I encountered was welcoming and kind. Great job everyone!

My parents purchased their car from Red Deer Toyota about 7 years ago. Last week my parents' car was stolen and their insurance company asked them to fill out this form called PDA (pre-damage appraisal form). They didn't know how to fill out the form (for there were so many terms they were not familiar with), so they took it to Red Deer Toyota where they had had their vehicle serviced every year. The staff at the dealership were very friendly and empathetic, and they had one of the sales agents, Stephen, help my parents with the form. Stephen took his time searching for each answer and helped them complete the form. My parents were extremely thankful and of course they will go back to Red Deer Toyota if they ever need to purchase another car. Very dissatisfied with the service I received. Bought a Rav 4 in October 2013. At the time the staff was rude and disorganized. I decided on a lease that I would pay half now and half at payout. To this date I am still unsure of what was charged and what my payout will be. Noone had ever done one of these types of leases before. I was passed through several people and never did get a satisfactory response. I wrote several letters to Toyota and spoke with managers at the dealership with no response. It is now coming to the end of my lease and I have booked an appointment with someone to discuss my lease so I will report on my outcome when I have completed it.

Worst experience in service and part department. We made an appointment a week ago for oil change and tire change. My husband and my daughter went there at the appointment time. First,they said they don't have my appointment. My husband showed email confirmation and text confirmation. They said wait one and half hour. My husband and my Daughter waited in the waiting room for 2 hours. Nobody talked about the delay. When we asked about our car after 2hr ,our car had not been even in the shop yet .they said wait another2 hr. ??? I was so upset when my husband called me. The lady in service and part never said sorry. She said "RESCHEDULE OR LEAVE" because I talked with upset voice(she said I was yelling) through the phone. We spent 5 hr (1.5 hr ×2 =3hr driving hr from home our town to red deer and 2 hr waiting) And got nothing. The people in service and part are worst people. We had horrible service.

Please look at the pictures before reading this. Took my 2005 tacoma into the service department in November and they told me my cab mounts need to be replaced. Decided to get a second opinion and went to a collision shop in Red Deer and advised me that your truck is unsafe to drive because of the rotted out frame. The long story short is that they should of replaced my frame when they inspected it a year and a half ago.I hope that toyota will step up to the plate and do the right thing. Either way a frame should not deteriorate to the point that it is undriveable after 15 years. There are probably many people in my situation. This is a picture of what a frame looks like at 15 years on a tacoma. Followed up with Toyota and they would not consider replacing my frame. I will never deal with this organization. Red Deer Toyota should of stepped up to the plate but they took the low road.

We booked a service at Toyota at 3:15 on Tuesday, April 2nd a week prior. We were getting ready to leave yesterday as Toyota calls and asks if we want to schedule our RAV4 for a servicing. I was puzzled as we were leaving our house at 2:45 for the appointment we scheduled at 3:15 on Tuesday. The lady on the phone mentioned that she doesn't see anything in the system for a servicing for us today but squeezes us in anyways. We get there and get told it's an hour and a half wait. I told the lady that was helping us that was ridiculous as they already messed up our booking and now we have to wait an hour and a half for an oil change and a car wash. Won't be back anytime soon.

When it came time to talk numbers there was some confusion by a manager on the sales price. First the price came in much lower than the window price. Once they realized their mistake, the price was $1200 more than the window price. We were able to resolve this through negotiation but I don't think I should have had to negotiate to get the advertised price.

My brand new 2014 4Runner Trail came with a license plate holder on the front bumper. It was crooked so I took it off and saw two badly drilled holes. I asked them to replace it, they said no. My bumper looks like someone shot it twice with a .22. I returned and had another sales person tell me they would recommend a place to have it fixed, but I have to pay for it. I said that's unacceptable. The sales person then left me a phone message saying they spoke to both dealerships (truck was brought in from B.C.) and there was nothing they could do. After several trips back, spoke with the manager and he agreed to have it fixed but not replaced. 10 minutes later he phones and leaves a message saying he went on Google and read this review and didn't know if they could still do the deal. I haven't returned the call. I am so fed up with going back there I'm going to go ahead and get it fixed myself. Should have done it long ago and saved myself a lot of wasted time. The original sales person was full of lies. He told me the truck was coming with off road tires (I informed him they don't), the price changed from what we verbally agreed on, told me to come in and pick up the 4Runner but it wasn't there, etc. I contacted Toyota Canada, they said I would hear back in 7 - 10 days. They never got back to me. I hate this place and hope this helps keep people away from Red Deer Toyota. This dealership makes you never want to buy new again. Love the truck. Hate dealing with Toyota. Go to Edmonton or Calgary and save yourself from the headache. I have spoke with other people who bought new Toyota's from this dealership and they had their own horror stories to share. The reply from the manager is pretty funny and no where near the truth. Nice try though! I bought some cross bars for the roof rack and found the parts department very helpful. Even had a mechanic and parts person come and figure out how to put them on. To them I say "Thanks much!"

I'm an avid car buyer and I can say that I've been to almost all the dealerships in the entire province. This dealership, by far, is a hidden gem in this province. The big city Toyota dealerships rest too much on their laurels and the fact they're pushing Toyotas out every day. The big city dealerships no longer care about customer satisfaction even when they say they do. If you distill it all down, there are only really three good dealerships in Alberta. Red Deer Toyota takes the #1 spot. They literally, and I mean, literally moved heaven and earth to get me what I want. No exag. This is the truth. They exude professionalism and kindness. I was treated with the utmost respect right from the very beginning and all the way to the end. They foster a family-like relationship with their clients and they made sure I was happy at every process even until delivery. At no point did I feel pressure from sales to finance. It was an absolute pleasure to buy a Tacoma from these guys. I can truly say that they even beat my Lexus experience - and that's already saying something considering it's Lexus. It's not every day you can experience luxury-like service from a Toyota dealership and that's what I got. Amy was just fantastic. Ryan was the MAN! Patricia made the money phase fun! That's right, finance people in this dealership actually make the buying process fun instead of being stressful! Overall the dealing process was a good experience. We had just lost our vehicle to a total loss accident and Bernie found us the vehicle we wanted however as it was still in transit he arranged a courtesy vehicle until it arrived which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. Found him very personable and friendly to deal with. Our Rav4 arrived in the first October winter weather and he called to see if we wanted the Winter tire package put on which included top of the line tires, steel rims, extra lug nuts and sensors and we agreed. When we arrived to pick-up our new vehicle the winter tires had not been put on for whatever reason. Again they were very apologetic and bought us lunch because of the wait which was a very nice gesture. When the tires were on I inquired about where the sensors were. The answer I got was "Oh the RAV4 XLE doesn't have a Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Now they have sold me a Tire Package that with sensors and installation being Appox. $350-400 of the value that we don't have. Do I feel duped and cheated?? You bet Should have only been offered the tires and rims not a package with sensors. When I complained I was told nobody complains about the package. Well I'm complaining and unhappy. Too bad what was a good experience ended like that. Have changed my rating as the sensor issue has been addressed and we were given a credit.

I have been extremely happy all my dealings with the sales dept, and they have been nothing less then professional, and after my last purchase I would certainly deal with Patrick again. The 3 previous Tundras that I've owned have had every service and all other work done at Red Deer Toyota, and I will continue with this truck. In 8 years I have been treated excellent in the service dept. I have found all the staff are very friendly and professional!!!!

Amazing experience! I was driving through red deer and one of my tires was giving me problems. With a toddler and a dog in tow, they were friendly, fast, so helpful, and inexpensive. They even had a water dish and treats for visiting dogs and a play area for smaller children. If you ever need help, head for Toyota at Gasoline Alley!

Horrible shady salesmen.... I was in the middle of a deal there today. I was buying a car for my daughter, I took it out for a test drive and decided that it was the perfect car for her. When I returned back to the dealership ready to sign the papers, I found out that while I was out for my test drive they sold the car to another customer. HORRIBLE! A customer that came after me. I was first inline for this car, shouldn’t I have had first chance to buy it? Are the salesmen at Red Deer Toyota this hard up for a sale that they need to stoop so low?
