My wife and I can at times be intimidated by overly intense salesmen, we were pleasantly surprised by the guys at National Auto. Incredibly friendly, helped us get exactly what we wanted and never tried to push us towards something we didn't want or need. We had a general idea of what we wanted in a vehicle and right from our the initial introduction they didn't try to sell us something we really did not want. What they did do was find us a vehicle that actually exceeded our expectations. That was only the beginning of what turned out to be a wonderful experience dealing with National Auto Outlet. Mike guided us through the process and gave us the time and space to make our decision. I heard that they had a great variety of inventory but I was pleasantly surprised by the number of vehicles in our price range they were able to show us and take on test drives. It was refreshing to deal with someone who was so knowledgeable and honest. Through out the process we felt like they truly cared about us. Ted in the finance office was able to take care of the financing with rates that were great and an answer with out hours of work to fill in paper work. We love our vehicle and will return again next time we decide to buy again.

First class service from these guys. Saw the vehicle I wanted, checked it out with the sales people and completed the online finance application and had an approval back within two hours. Vehicle was immaculately detailed when I arrived to pick it up with a full tank and everything in order. Paperwork was straight forward and well prepared. Couldn't be happier and a far superior service to the one I received at a very well known GM Pontiac Buick dealer in the Auto Mall a couple of years ago!!

I loved how welcoming our sales rep was. He makes you feel at home right away and wasn't pushy at all. I definitely feel like I overpaid for my car but it was a consignment so they didn't have all that much room for movement on the price. I loved it though so I didn't really care all that much. They were great coming on the lot, told me all I needed to know, prompt and professional. As soon as I came back without my mother, and with my friend to help me put an off on a vehicle they took back their word of negotiating a price. Said they wouldn't and couldn't and I pretty much had to beg for $250 off of the price. They tried to tell me three oil changes on this vehicle was a total of $350, (EDIT: I have misunderstood the inclusions of this package offer it included more, such as tire rotations and other services). They also tried to bribe me by telling me my mother looked like my sister, and then when I wouldn't take their deal they continued to pretty well bash my father by telling me that he was "abrupt" on the phone, when all he was trying to do was look out for his young daughter he wasn't there to help. I was accepted with financing alone at a different dealership when National wanted a cosigner because I was at a "decline". The finance officer that was in that day talked down to me as if I was stupid and my friend promptly shut him down with the actual fact seeing as she is also a financing officer elsewhere. I wish I could have gotten this vehicle because it was basically everything I as looking for, but I went with a completely different dealership due to the salesperson actually talking to me like a human being, and willing to meet me halfway at my offer.

Make sure you do your own history on the cars you buy. Mine was also technically one used as a rental at National. Directly on the receipt it says No to damage over $5,000. Well when I ended up selling it and looking up the history it had over $8,000 of damage on it when it was still a rental. Make sure you check the history BEFORE buying from them.

I am from Calgary and drove to Lethbridge to purchase a Truck from National Auto outlet. The truck was listed as a great deal. I was a little hesitant as it was priced better than allot of private deals and I was unsure about buying from a business versus private. However, after the drive to Lethbrige the truck was there waiting for me. I took it for a test drive and it ran great. Noticed some minor issues such as the wiper blades and the gas light on. The steering was also a bit off. The manager right away said if i was interested he would fill it up a bit and on the spot changed my wiper blades, as he said he didn't want to be concerned for my safety on the way home. He then said he could have the alignment looked at but knew i wanted to head back home so he discounted my truck for that costs. Now in Calgary 2 weeks later, at the wheel alignment shop, they notice that my Truck needed to have its inner tie rods changed. This was going to cost a few hundred to fixed. So I called National Auto and they said all good they will take care of it. Wow, what great customer service. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to upgrade there vehicles. Bought a 03 minivan from National auto, only to find out the electrical was going 3 weeks later, took it back and was told since we didn't buy the extended warranty (we werent offered or aware of) they couldn't do anything.. Took it back a week later, we were then offered 2 trucks one of which was a 98 which was at a shop getting fixed (body damage on the rear , and who knows what else) .. and offered a 97 dodge ram, we were assured it was just the steering loose.. Took it to a mechanic, found out it needed ball joints, Sway bar links,trac bar, the tires didnt even pass, other little things... Took it back with in24 hours of purchase, and got a couple parts covered, and Inspecta car covered the parts they missed on inspection.. but we had to pay labour and get tires on the truck... Total rip off, when we took it back to ask about some paper work, they RUDELY said get off my lot or I will remove you, and said they would phone the police, so I got on the phone with the police and when they asked to speak with the manager of the lot, he refused to talk to them! NEVER again will i go there, or reccomend it to anyone!!

Here is our last 7 months. we bought a truck with a warranty, never would have bought the truck if we couldn't have the warranty because it is pre-owned. After driving it off the lot, engine light came on, went through the ringer with National to get it figured out. Three months later, we learn that the lifters were going... WOW good thing we had a warrant, needless to say we were shocked that a company would sell a vehicle off their lot that the engine was going to go. Now 7 months down the line, the transmission went. HOW National could sell a vehicle that was so defective is beyond me. Went to put in a warranty claim only to find out that the warranty should never have been put on our vehicle.... which left us confused. How can National sell a warranty for a vehicle that the company accepted without hiding stuff from the warranty company. So not only was the vehicle not fit to sell, the warranty company claims they had no knowledge of the status of our vehicle when the warranty was purchased. Not sure who is in the wrong, the warranty company for claiming ignorance or National for hiding information but someone did something wrong.

I bought a car from here in June. While picking it up to take it home I noticed the seal on both the passenger and driver door had been wrecked after they locked the keys in my car. They tried getting the keys out of my car using a hanger. They didn't care that I was upset and then my dad stepped in and they said they would make it right. They told me they would mail me those things however it is October and I just got one thing they offered me yesterday and they never did follow through with the rest of the deal. I do not suggest you buy a car from here. Not a friendly company to deal with.

As it is with many business, there is no such thing as perfection. Initially the team was quite responsive and energized to sell our vehicle. That said, as time went on our vehicle did not sell and we actually took a huge loss on the sale. We completely understand the market and what comes with it. . I am one that understands referrals well and love to post positive referrals. When a pair of 1200 dollar mysteriously disappeared from their office after being found in our vehicle I was concerned. I was met with a " we have no clue were they are" even though two employees called us to say that they were at the office. UPDATE: One thing I have high respect for is when an organization has the integrity to be proactive in solving a problem. Hutch was immediate in his response to us am provided a solution that was satisfactory for us. GO in with your eyes OPEN is my recommendation.
