I cannot say enough great things about Warren and the rest of the team at Airdrie House of Cars. Not only did they go to bat for me and get me a killer interest rate (all things considered), they got me into one of my dream cars. I was shocked at how pleasant and easy the whole process was. I would say you can definitely trust the team to make sure you're taken care of, and I'd also say if I do run into any problems over the next few weeks - months, I feel safe to take it back to them for help! Totally worth the trip.

I had, absolutely, the best experience I've probably ever had in the service industry, at House of Cars Airdrie! From the first moment I spoke to Hayley on the phone I felt completely taken care of and in good hands. The staff were professional, super knowledgeable, and I was so happy to receive fun and friendly service, which I also found out to be more than I expected. I hadn't realized they helped build credit, or that they would go above an beyond helping me outside of store hours OR after I drove away with my vehicle. Mr. David who greeted me with hospitality and professionalism and introduced me to two awesome guys Sir Martin and Sir David Long Sir David Long who is very patient and looking for the car that is perfect not only for me but also in my budget and in my liking. there was ups and downs but to be clear downs means not in my budget or car that is awesome but not that great. he helps you everything that it could be done and update everything in your liking, he is very knowledgeable and professional. Sir Martin who advice and guide me every detail on the car that was chosen, help me everything that need to be done, he is a car enthusiast, very patient knowledgeable and professional, i was treated as a family here in this HOC(Airdrie). I was wrong with this company. This company didn't help me with my credit. Got me into 2 loans and they basically told me to have one of the cars repossessed which will ruin my credit even more. I talked to them and still didn't help me resolve this situation. Company is a joke. Never trust this company.

Had wonderful experience with them in January 2021. Come December 2021, we decided to have a look at another vehicle, and settled for a chevy cruis..went to sign the papers and the dealer had papers for a kia forte, we did not want a forte, and he told us that he knew what we wanted, we wanted an import vehicle not a domestic vehicle..and we needed a forte, not a cruise...he didnt even tell us he changed the paperwork, good thing we read contracts..he even gave our banking information to the finance company, which we never provided. He used our old information, what would he have done if we changed banks? SCAM ARTISTS!!!! STAY AWAY

Most disorganized place to refinance your vehicle, I waited three days for a call back about refinancing only to be told that if you paid your bills on time we could help you more, my credit score may not be perfect but I have no trouble getting what I want from other banks. I was helped by a nice Chinese guy, Peter To ????????. Initially, I came in to test drive the vehicle I saw online, but it didn’t turn out to be what I wanted. After going back to the lot from the initial test drive, there was a fresh vehicle that came in and was a better fit. I asked Peter if we can take it for a longer test drive, and he was fine with that, and eventually I decided on the second vehicle. The dealership was clean with friendly staff; they let you view the vehicle, take it for a test drive, and answer all your questions first before discussing pricing. Peter To, was friendly and professional (free from high pressure and hassle), highly recommend to deal with him if you’re looking for your next vehicle - 5 star experience - You won’t get a better guy than him even in China town ????

Called about a vehicle that was a mechanic special. Was told by the manager "cant be sold because it attract alot of customer that come and see the car and price". When the customer sees the car and doesn't know what "mechanic special mean they sell you a car with a higher price tag" I told the manager that your are deceiving your customers by doing that. I find alot of their cars are over priced for the work that it needs and was very very upset ???? with their marketing techniques. Full of garage dont get up sold to something you can't afford because you may feel pressured or obligated.

I rarely rate a car dealership with 5 stars. Since the very start my wife and I receive exceptional service at House of Cars in Airdrie AB. Brittany was really pleasant and understanding with our needs. Because of my job and my wife’s frequent appointments, we needed a reliable vehicle that was affordable yet comfortable. First we thought that our credit was bad and the interest was going to eat us alive, but when Matt (from finance) waved his magic wand, we not only got really affordable payments and a reasonable interest rate but, we ended up with two very reliable vehicles that truly meets all our needs. In top of all of that we ended up with cash back enough to cover two car payments!!! They really exceeded all our expectations! As soon as we walk in, we are greeted with a warm smile and they call us by our names. We felt like going home when we did the paperwork. We never felt under any pressure to commit on buying a car. Fun Time & more

Finally, my case came to an end. (A very nice Christmas Gift). It was a serious roller coster ride for a bit. Yes, a bit! but not fun at all. Few personals got involved. We all know everything happens for a reason. And on my part, perhaps, i am entitled to go through that burden (talking about that ‘reason’) is for me to explore more about the knowledge i should have when dealing vehicle problems. These are not “sleazy, used car salesman”; they are people first who do business efficiently, are friendly, and want the best for their clients. They are also extremely family friendly, dealing so sweetly with our 15mo daughter while we conducted business without shaming her for public behaviour or losing patience with us. Hayley and Joseph worked diligently to find the best vehicle for my growing family, for the best price well within our budget, and never tried at all to push a more expensive vehicle on us that result in our family being “car broke”. These salesmen are honest and have a strong sense of business ethics and integrity. Their cars are stringently checked and properly maintained. They take all their client’s needs into consideration and put together the very best package they can to get their clients on the road (sometimes, like in our case, on the very same day!) in a new-to-you vehicle that will take you far. As for us, obviously our family has nothing but good things to say about this particular branch and we will hopefully continue to do business with them far into the future. They might be the only used car lot I’d trust enough to even consider getting my daughter a car from... although thank goodness that’s a few years off!

Was overall, a pretty good experience! I got my first car from this location, which was a 2012 Dodge Avenger. We dealt with sales-person Joseph, who was friendly, and kind. There was an instance with a price discrepancy that wasn't made clear to us which did cause some negative tension, however, it was properly sorted out, and they handled it very well, and professionally with their finance department. Overall, the car runs well. We did have to take it back about twice since we got it, for their mechanics to fix some issues that we weren't aware that the car had. This was including a faulty air-conditioning system, a loud thumping noise in the front dash, and then the brakes were making some terrible noises when used at low-speeds. The mechanics team were absolutely wonderful with helping with all of those issues. Our biggest problem was just the fact that we felt that we weren't being told the whole story of the car, and it's previous history. On the cars history report, there were some red-flags involving previous collisions that we weren't made aware of during the initial sales process. It just would've been nice to have known from the start. In the end, however, I do love the car. I'm just hoping no more issues will arise with it. Thanks!

Talk about a pushy sales rep with low regards on customer care / service. I WAS a satisfied pre existing customer and recently was told I could obtain a better interest rate. After 2 years with my existing loan with my current lease. With my current situation I asked the same sales representative to move forward in a few months time due to a proposal that was to come off my credit report, he insisted this would have no play. After pulling my credit record he then stated I had 2 options after the sales rep guaranteed a 7% rate Option 1 wait 6 months. Option 2 qualifying for 11% if I pulled out another consumer proposal, sales rep stated My credit score was to low to trade over he stated a score that did NOT reflect what in fact I had. Sales rep reflected A lower difference of 60 points. “Our systems are differently reflected” Sales rep stated.... (Funny 2 years ago he asked me my credit score and I was only 5 points off) “Having a proposal on my report With to much debt not paid” which in fact it’s paid to current. A phone bill that was not paid, when i switched over to a higher credit limit carrier with the same number. (Can Only obtain the same number if bill is paid in full) and is listed in my credit report as paid. Trying to Communicate the proposal to wait the few months for this to come off my reporting. He pushed, for a quick sale. What’s more upsetting this proposal was already on file when i originally obtained my lease through House of cars 2 years ago. These push tactics, inaccurate financial advising is concerning to the next buyer. Sales rep in regards, lacks Customer communication with negligence (credit score impact) this really should reflect on House of Cars for obtaining another dealer of the year, sadly I’ll be doing business elsewhere. I rated you 2 stars because house of cars does have a great platform of business, and at one time they were good to me. The 3 stars is your sales representative that put you at a loss. I could write a couple of pages about our experience and how pleased I was but I'll try to capture the highlights. We dropped in to look for a vehicle for my wife. To say she had a list of "wants" is an understatement. In all seriousness we made a list because we weren't in a panic to buy but felt that if we were going to buy we should get the vehicle of her dreams, or as close to that as possible. We met Chantelle and gave her our story. We had a van to trade (with some issues) and of course the details on the dream vehicle. She managed to find us some options right away but we just weren't 100% sold. On one of our subsequent visit we met the GM Matt. He asked for clarification on what we wanted, looked at our van and developed a bit of a game plan with us. This probably sounds like a typical story dealing with a car dealership but in fact it was much different. I was struck by how "human" both he and Chantelle were. Down to earth, relaxed, not pushy. I was cautious from the first moment but was worn down by their honesty and decency. Chantelle was very helpful and assisted us professionally throughout the process. I could not have asked for a nicer salesperson. I do want to add some thoughts about Matt. This is a quality guy and someone who is not typical in the industry. He's a calm, gentle personality who asks the right questions and gives straights answers and not to be cliche, seems to actually care of his customers. I was floored by how real this guy is. He put me at ease and I had to admit lowered my guard considerably. His plan for us was sensible, fair and efficient and I felt like we were in good hands. Towards the end of the process, one of the other sales people (amazingly cool guy with tattoos-didn't catch his name) came over and shared a story about how Matt helped a single dad who was in a really bad deal and truly brought him hope. This fellow told us that the place wouldn't run without Matt and I believe him. It was a surreal experience, almost like they were family. By the way, Matt and Chantelle found us the perfect vehicle, literally checked every single box for us. It's an incredible vehicle and we got a very fair deal. But to be honest it was how they treated us that will remain in my mind. In a world that sometimes feels so rushed, impersonal and unfair this was the polar opposite experience. I don’t usually do this type of thing, but after the experience I had purchasing a vehicle from House of Cars I had to express how incredible that experience was. First I’ll state that I don’t like dealing with sales people in general (let alone the dreaded car salesman), but I had a perception shifting interaction with one particular sales person. Dealing with Steve was like dealing with one of my homies. He kept it real and told me straight up what was what. The kind of interaction I would never expect to have with a sales person. I went into the dealership knowing what I wanted, and Steve sold me the car I didn’t realise I needed. I’m not the kind of guy that likes to be told I’m wrong. Bull headed I believe is the term. Steve however took this train down a different track. Instead of telling me that the car I wanted wasn’t going to work for me, he showed me the car that would and let me experience for myself how right it was for me. After test driving the car he suggested, Steve put me in the car I had originally wanted to look at. This is when I discovered that what I had wanted was wrong and what Steve knew would work for me was right. I don’t like being told that I’m wrong, but I appreciate when I am shown that I’m wrong and then offered the correction. This was absolutely the right way to get me on the hook. Much respect to Steve for handling me in this way. Now when it came to discussing payment for the car, I gave this man a very tough budget to work with. Steve took what I had to offer and hit me with an I got you mentality. This man took my budget and got me the pricing I needed and an interest rate that I completely did not expect. This man killed it. I went in expecting that I’d get laughed out of the building when I told them what I was looking to pay. Steve instead got me exactly where I needed to be price wise. This genuinely shocked me. I believe Steve may have mistook my shock for disappointment, but he gave me a few minutes to think it over which I actually used to convince myself that he accomplished what I considered to be an absurd request from my side. I still can’t believe he did it as I’m sitting at home writing this, knowing that my new car is just outside. I also have to mention that Nikko and Mark helped make the overall experience a smooth and enjoyable one. Walking in today to pick up my new car, I was met with the same energy from all three men that I was met with the first day I walked in. This was the best experience I’ve ever had purchasing a vehicle and I can not recommend this location enough. Thank you all so much for everything.

I have a friend who got a vehicle from House of Cars after the hail storm. However it has a fairly big mechanical issue they failed to disclose before he purchased the vehicle. Now he is stuck with a vehicle he is unable to drive because of this driveline issue until a part can be ordered (late September is the earliest time the part will arrive). If I could I would put a no star... It was an all around horrible experience!! If you are going to go to house of cars go to Barlow not Airdrie! Airdrie sells and financing people are not very informative and beat around the bush when asked any questions... they say they want to be “transparent” but definitely are NOT!!! We noticed a couple things wrong with the vehicle when we went to pick it up. They had their “mechanic” look at it but said he couldn’t find anything and if we continued to have the issues to bring it in and they would fix the problems. When I texted the sales girl I was dealing with she told me to bring it in on the Friday but not only did she not show up, she didn’t book an appointment for us to come so we ended up driving from the far south of Calgary all the way to Airdrie to be turned around and told I’m sorry we don’t have time. Whereas the Barlow location went above and beyond to make my husbands experience a good one. I will definitely not be going back to the Airdrie location for any future purchases.

My brother bought his car from here and had a wonderful experience. I come in looking for the same and I did not receive it. First meeting was great. Looked over vehicles. Talked financing. My must-haves. I was told there are dozens of trucks in my price range with features I am looking for. I left feeling good. I get a call from their finance guy who then takes my information to run a credit check. A few days later he calls me again and tells me that if I want to remain on budget that I need to get something older or with more km than I was looking at. He says that for my budget and the vehicle I am looking at they have nothing at all for me. I wonder how that changed so quickly since there is nothing wrong with my credit. I contact the sales lady who originally showed me around, and also had sold my brother his vehicle. She tells me she is no longer in that office and that shes "surprised I even let him have my information for a credit check". I was under the impression I was about to buy a vehicle from another professional she had passed me to... I expressed my displeasure with what seems like extremely shady dealings. She said she would be looking into this issue for me and would make sure I am taken care of...and I haven't heard from her since.

4 Stars for the shop because they did the work successfully and efficiently -5 for customer service from admin Bought my car from House of Cars Barlow - way better experience there. TL/DR - The office manager, Michelle, double charged me for a warranty deductible on my repair, insulted me by saying I was "struggling with my math" and only gave me my money back 2 weeks later after I called the ops manager. Be aware, she is condescending and mean when she is corrected. Didn't apologize when I finally got my refund because she did indeed over charge me (twice - she also originally shorted my refund $50) . My repair was covered under my Lubrico warranty that was sold to me by House of Cars Barlow. The warranty has a $150 deductible and doesn't cover diagnostics or fluids - didn't love it, but I knew this going in so had no issue with it. They fixed the car in a few hours and told me I could pick it up in the afternoon. I was unable to make it before the shop closed, so they offered to leave the invoice with the Sales Manager as the sales floor would still be open when I could come by. When I arrived, my bill was almost double what I was told! I had confirmed with both the shop and Lubrico that the warranty would cover parts and labor. I realized that the warranty credit was $150 lower than the parts/labor, but there was also a line item on my invoice of $150 for the deductible. After 30 mins of back and forth with the sales and shop managers (on the phone since he was off), I said I needed to take my car and offered to pay half. That didn't fly, but since I wanted to leave, I paid it in full and said I'd come back. I called Lubrico the next day and explained. They clarified that they take the deductible directly from the customer by shortchanging the credit they give to the shop. No money changes hands between Lubrico and I, or further with Lubrico and the shop. In retrospect this actually makes a lot of sense and significantly simplifies the process in my opinion. Michelle at the office didn't agree. I went back the next day in the afternoon to try and get the $150 back and spent 45 minutes in her office arguing with her. I understand that maybe I wasn't coming off clear in how I was explaining it, but there are a few major shortfalls in Michelle's customer service skills: - I asked her multiple times to print a retail invoice and pretend it wasn't a warranty claim so we could compare - she refused - I asked her to call Lubrico to see if they could explain it - she refused and "didn't have time to call them" - It seemed no matter what I said, she wouldn't listen to the situation from my perspective. I know the customer isn't always right, but it's polite to at least listen to what they have to say and professional to try and consider it from their side. You don't tell them: - "In layman's terms, that's not how it works, I do this ALL OF THE TIME" (even though Airdrie only became a Lubrico authorized shop because they applied was to process THIS repair) - "There is no way you're getting a refund, that's not how this works" I had a meeting in a few minutes and grew tired of being belittled by her, so I left. I called Lubrico. Two days went by and nothing, so I called the Barlow location and spoke with the shop manager. He immediately understood what happened and agreed that I was being overcharged. He offered to call them for me. Apparently that went nowhere and he called me back and said he'd bring it to the Ops Manager, who just so happened to work out of that location and would be back from vacation soon. A week later, I was informed that Michelle would offer me my refund. Went back into her office for my refund. No apology or sincerity, just transactional. She pulled it out, showed me her penciled-on-sticky-notes all over the invoice and said she was giving me $100 back. I swiped my card, and then looked over the invoice and realized that Michelle had subtracted $750-150 = $650. "Oh" and she spent 5 more minutes crunching the numbers before issuing me a SECOND refund for the other $50.

After I had completed the purchase the manager Brandon called me and told me there were issues with the vehicles CarFax and that he didn’t feel comfortable selling me the vehicle in it’s current condition. Do not go to House of Cars!! I did not have a good experience with anyone who I interacted with the day I went in. I had just found out I needed to look for a new car and went in to the store wanting to look at my options. Danielle and Joseph did not listen to what I was in the market for. They put me in a vehicle double what my budget was and tried to convince me to finance for 7 years, even though I told them I was looking for a 2-3 year term. When I tried to explain what I wanted numerous times expressing I could not afford what they had shown me, I was lectured on why what I wanted was wrong and had a diagram of value over time drawn for me as if I was an idiot.They ran a credit check even though I told them I was just in to look around and see what my options were. I left very frustrated and unhappy that day. Since then I have been harassed by different people 4 times via text and phone calls even though I have already purchased a car at a different dealership and haven’t been to the store in a month or more. I have no good things to say about the service I received. The people just don’t listen to you.

However, the wonderful team at House of Cars Airdrie were fabulous. I had purchased a vehicle on July 5 2019 At the 17th ave location and later referred my dad to an airdrie location On the last week of November They sold my dad a Mitsubishi rvr which has the fog lights busted on them the gentleman Stephen said he would have a replacement part coming In with in the next couple of weeks and coming up on 8 months and we still have not gotten the fog lights and on top of that I still have not received my referral of 500 so I been fed up with trying to reach them because they don’t answer text or calls would not recommend this location... very poor service after they have sold you a vehicle... if you can make the trip into Calgary I’d recommend the 17th ave location and go see Adrian

If I could rate them negatively I would do so. I would NOT recommend going to house of cars, ESPECIALLY in Airdrie AB. They have terrible customer service, the messed around with my sister, saying "we just need one more conformation" , "we just need her to call one more time" , "we just need proof of this and that and this". Having her THIRD salesperson she's dealt with offer her cash monthly to take the vehicle off the lot. Which I personally find very sketchy!!! ON TOP OF THAT, standing up, puffing his chest, screaming at her brother (my husband) when he suggested it wasn't a good idea to continue with the sale. So in total, I DEFINITELY DO NOT recommend going there for ANY VEHICLE!!

You have given me a glimpse of light and I promise to do better. Your time is incredibly valuable as it's the one thing we have to give to people that we never get back, so I will make sure it wasn't wasted. Nick, You are one hell of a human. Your compassion and dedication to helping someone into a better situation is outstanding and not something that is seen with sales staff very often. Not once did I feel like this was high pressure or just done to line your pockets, in fact I think I bothered you more than you did me which eased my anxiety more than you know. Thank you for dealing with my "end of the world girly tears yesterday", you are a trooper. Your energy, laugh, smile and eternal optimism are infectious. My experience 6 months ago with the Big Name Dealers was vastly different, I was treated as subpar because my credit numbers aren't prime, and I was fully prepared for that again. House of Cars advertise vehicles on their website they do not have in stock.Nick Banning, a salesman at House of Cars, phoned me after I left a text message on their website. We talked about a 2016 Dodge Caravan they advertised on their website and we made an appointment for Monday, October 26, 2020 to finalise the deal. First off, Nick Banning never pitched up, claiming he was sick. I accepted that BUT the car we talked about was nowhere in sight, and nobody knew anything about such a car. Another salesman and I looked at another Dodge Caravan that was advertised on the website, and once again, that car was nowhere in sight. I told them that they were a bunch of liars and I left. NO ONE SHOULD DO BUSINESS WITH HOUSE OF CARS IF THEY KEEP ON LYING LIKE THIS.

I am a senior and have purchased several cars over the years but I have never had an experience like I had with Clayton and staff at House of Cars - Airdrie. My son asked me to go see a car he was interested in and later decided to buy. You can read his comments here as well. While he and Clayton were writing up the deal my eye caught a 2019 Toyota Camry. Excellent condition with very low mileage. I mean it is a new car but the price was very reasonable too. When they finished and came outside Clayton saw I was sitting in the Camry and asked if I would like to take it for a drive. I shouldn't have because I bought it the next day. But I really want to tell you of the buying experience I enjoyed in the process. Clayton is a very personable gent .. not fake. It's like you are a friend that he hasn't seen for awhile. Absolutely no pressure to make the sale. Let's face it, it's a huge purchase. He takes his time and never did I feel rushed. One night we were still there until after closing time. When I made my decision to buy the Camry, the sales manager was packing up to go home and was putting his coat on and probably looking forward to see his family and have his dinner but he hung his coat up turned on his computer again and was still there when we left at 9 pm! Thank you so much for that sir! Clayton knows the particulars about the car you are interested in. The options and even the warrantee left on it! He shows you how to operate the bells and whistles the car has. There was an error in the sale documents that had to be corrected and printed then resigned. He was going to bring them to my house in Calgary to save me the trip! How's that for customer service! I have never enjoyed a sales experience like I did at House of Cars - Airdrie ever and if you want to experience the same and see what it's like I would urge you to go see Clayton and staff. It's obvious Clayton loves and is very good at customer service and selling cars. He is excellent at both. You don't have to purchase a car to receive this level of service. Also thank you to the gal in the office (sorry, I cannot remember your name miss) and one last thank you to the young man in the wash bay for an excellent job done.
