Pretty average experience. Sales and finance was fine. My only issue was with the service department. Originally had taken my car in to get the struts replaced, upon inspection before leaving the lot I opened the trunk and there was a panel that belonged underneath the vehicle that they had failed to put back on as well as a giant scratch on the passenger door that would’ve been pretty hard to miss the first time around. In turn he responded that I would need to arrange another date to come back in once again so they could put it back on and touch up the scratch. So I brought my vehicle in again which is pretty inconvenient seeing as I live south west and work in Sherwood Park.. Upon retrieving my vehicle this past weekend I immediately noticed the giant scratch still there clear as day. At this point I was pretty frustrated and left the lot. My only thoughts were too how can I trust that the panel was even put back on seeing that they failed to touch up the scratch. Not satisfied on that front.

Do not buy a vehicle from this location or even inquire about it. Ran by an unprofessional sales team that doesn't listen to the customer. Even if you ask to be taken off their call list, calls will still be sent out by nagging sales members. ALSO They merge any information with the AutoTrader app or any existing file from your past. Go auto dealerships are crooks and have been a significant issue in the auto industry for many years. Go Auto use to have much lower ratings on Google a year or two ago.. I do not trust how their ratings have gone up....

Bough a SUV Monday November 25, 2019. Upon inspection of the vehicle i found a fender trim piece on the driver side dangling from the fenders and another one broken on the passenger side. vehicle had also a check engine light on even if one of their "journeyman" technician inspected the vehicle and reported on his vehicle assessment sheet that nothing was wrong. The "service manager" agreed to get those fixed before i take possession of the vehicle. The "service manager" told me the vehicle would be ready for pickup on Tuesday November 26 after 5PM. Once at the dealership on that give date and time i got told by the same manager that the vehicle wasn't ready because they received the wrong parts and that it would be ready the next morning, he told me he would call me around 9AM to give me a exact same timing that the vehicle would be ready. At 2PM on Wednesday November 27 i show up to the dealership to see if the vehicle was ready has i did not received any phone call from the "service manager" and to my surprise the vehicle was still not ready because apparently they received the parts but it was the wrong color. The "service manager" told me i could leave with the SUV and that someone would give me a call when the parts would arrive and i would be able to set up a appointment to get the parts install, when they pulled the SUV up front after waiting for 20 minute, the vehicle was empty on gas and running on fume even if in the sale agreement i was mentioned that the vehicle would be sold with a FULL tank of gas. Thursday November 28, i receive a call saying they had to parts and what date/time i was available for them to install it. A appointment was made for Saturday November 30 at 12 for the parts to be install. I showed at 11:55Am for the appointment and i could told to sit in the lounge room that someone would come and see me. After waiting for 30 minute with no one in sight, because they were to busy talking, laughing and stuffing them self with pizza i decided to leave, has i didn't want to spent the whole afternoon waiting sitting in a chair for a 30 minute job. On my way out i told the sale person i would pickup the parts later and install it myself since the service is so great over there. In this whole process the most helpful person was Nick West the finance manager that did more then the service manage and the sale guy.

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I was treated abusively following the sale. Following financing, due to my vehicle not being "ready" I couldn't drive my previous home with my family, and didn't have an option to get my new vehicle, so me and my wife had to abruptly clean out my previous while the sales reps watched and joked around eluding to requiring us to hurry up. Nothing was clarified to me when leading into this and I was backed into a corner with new sale finalized, and couldn't back out, nor could I move forward. In addition, My vehicle wasn't cleaned upon delivery and the facility utilized detrimental tactics for storage and starting during winter months ultimately causing significant repairs weeks after the sale. The service and repair schedule for the vehicle I purchased was false and a lie, covering up real issues with the vehicle, even though the "warranty" provided as part of "assurance" and piece of mind didn't and won't cover squat. When I presented the issue to the facility manager to give an opportunity to mitigate, I was brushed off and ghosted. Note that the majority of positive reviews on here are tricks (Of which was also presented to me during sale) that if I write a positive review, right then and there on the sales persons computer, that I would get further discounts. I would not suggest purchasing a vehicle from this facility. They use lies, abusive tricks, lose lose situations with no options. They fake vehicle trouble codes as to give less for trades, and hide problems with vehicles being sold. Steer very clear of this shady dealership, no matter how enticing the "deal" may be. Response to Owner: - Turning a blind eye to the scenario is fairly typical, given the track record and history of the establishment. Yes I did "in fact" buy a vehicle, and yes, the organization did falsify documentation to sell the vehicle, yes I was treated like a POS after the sale, and yes the "warranty" doesn't cover anything. Another demonstration of blatant lies from the owner.....I suggest all to steer clear, no matter how good the "deal" may seem, it will most certainly bite you in the but shortly after.

October 2021: I am so upset with Go Auto Outlet Yellowhead, I wanted to just delete this review, but I said I would update, so I will provide a brief update. Sorry the update took so long, but I was very upset with the experience. We were not happy with the outcome of our inspection, there were multiple things wrong including the a/c and an oil leak in the engine (we purchased a 2017 Luxury SUV), we had an inspection done because we noticed the A/C didn't work properly and we were not provided a maintenance schedule (I would now recommend getting a pre-purchase inspection done (fountain tire provides this service). I did not have Go Auto fix it because they lost my trust, if they didn't fix it before why would they fix it after? Not impressed with the business practices. I am going to avoid any Go dealership in the future and only purchase from actual dealerships not associated with Go Auto. July 2021 - Kassem / Jake was very helpful and knowledgeable. Great service. July / August 2021: Please stay tuned for Updates. We are conducting a peace of mind inspection on our purchase and have a few additional comments to make regarding our experience. I will update this post accordingly.

Demeaning, horrible "service" from managers. Was informed that I probably "just misunderstood" what the salesman was telling me. It was only when I mentioned I also brought my father that they quickly dropped that. Look up your AMVIC rights before shopping here and if you're a woman, I strongly recommend going somewhere else. Otherwise expect to be taken advantage of and disrespected. UPDATE: I was spam-called twice in a row after leaving this review because it was "unfair." I challenge them to find one thing that is not factual as I also had a witness to all of this. If you look at other honest reviews, you will see this information all aligns.

My partner and I bought our first vehicle (2014 KIA Sorento) together here back in May last year and definitely will not buy here again. Felt very taken advantage of and was actually told to write a review before even finalizing our purchase. Many issues after purchasing our vehicle. Our transfer case needs to be replaced and we haven’t even had the vehicle a year yet. The AC has never worked (which we were told it worked). We had to replace a tire within a week- (it went completely flat) of purchasing because they did a faulty patch job on it without telling us. The brake lights and turn signals ALL went out within a month. Our trunk opening button does not work for the car. Many of these issues we brought to their attention MANY TIMES and have contacted them over and over and they had done nothing to solve or help the issue. Blaming it on “fuses that could be an easy fix”. Hands down worst experience as my partner and I don’t know much about vehicles and were definitely taken advantage of. EDIT: to your response, John we called both Alex and have messages with her listing everything that was wrong with the car as soon as we took it home. And messages with the General Manager saying it’s “just a fuse”. As we lived in Jasper Alberta we were told it was a waste of time to take it to you as your GM said it was a fuse. We also brought up that our tire went flat and had a bad patch job done without being notified. This was not brought to your attention a year later we had been calling and texting for MONTHS.

Well where to start excatly, I had made a appointment awhile back but bailed and landed into a much different vehicle. 8 months later they called me and set up another appointment and I decided to humor myself and see what I could get. I went in and dealt with an employee (Lee) explained my situation to them, set a base for monthly fees and was shown 2 nice vehicles. All I had to do was find out how much I had left on the vehicle I was driving. They generously offered to buy it out and take the vehicle in on trade. A week goes by as I find the numbers and I end up with a different salesman (Stuart), who put in a great deal of effort to get me into some shoddy looking and sounding vehicles, I told him I wasn't interested in those and moved on saying if I couldn't find what I wanted that was it, he agreed to work hard for me and called me the next day. He went out of his way to find me better choices and everything was going well, I made it clear from the beginning what I wanted and for how much and I wouldn't budge on it. Was shown some very nice choices and even picked one. It was going great papers began to get signed and I noticed that they moved my monthly budget limit to A bi-weekly payment instead and I explained that wouldn't work for me as I repeatedly told them the number was my monthly limit. Told them the deal was off beacuse I explained what I wanted and they continued to try change what I wanted from good to bad. The seller made a very under handed comment that I choose to ignore and left after we couldn't come to an agreement. All over all the sellers don't listen to you, don't give up to much information about your situation as they will try to use that against you very predatory behavior. I also know a thing or two about vehicles and they will, through what I assume(very generously I might add) is no fault of their own try to sell you vehicles with rough idles that could be indicative of underlying issues. Be careful what vehicle you select from there and maybe check out a few other dealership that aren't this place definitely get you're own mechanic to go over it aswell if you do decide to go through this place. All over all it was good until it was too good to be true. Be very careful at this place.

Well, I have a story, that starts bad but ends good. I purchased a jeep back in April from go auto, and to say the least, had the absolute worst experience of my life. Many Things came up during the buying process, I even at one time tried to back out of the deal due to unseen finance issues.. The bank told me the dealership has the power to cancel it... But the obviously chose not to becauze than they would have lost business. So I ended up having to take the jeep. I left there crying more times than I can Remember. I complained about an oil leak before buying they said they would fix it all they did was rinse it off so I wouldnt notice. My jeep was back to them on 3 different occasions and in that time I had but 4000 km on.. The 4th time I met a man by the name of Naz, now I was not overly kind to naz at the start given the way I had been treated In the past by this dealership. He took it in stride and still treated me with respect and kindness... He had my jeep looked at, and gave me a discount on the repair work on my jeep. He changed my mind slightly about how that dealership was. He told me if I ever have any issues to reach out.. Well he didn't disappoint. Fast forward 2 Months from than and the rear drive shaft in my jeep went.... I was livid but than remembered I purchased extended warranty. I took my jeep to a Dodge dealership this time as go auto isnt really a full service department. I did however reach out to naz... He told me to get st Albert Dodge to send him the quote for the work and he would see what he could do... I was skeptical like what are u gonna be able to do for me. Found out this part was not covered under my extended warranty.. I was upset.. Knowing the cost of the repair would be hard for me to cover. Laid off from work, and Christmas time. A few hours later I Recieved a text from naz, that they were going to cover the repair cost, the diagnose fee and 4 days of a vehicle rental for me.. I was blown away. I couldn't believe this was happening to me. Naz has been amazing and really puts his customers first. He's the service manager, and he really changed my mind about that dealership. Not often does something like this happen. But I'm so greatful I met naz, thanks again naz if you ever read this!!

If you don’t t have experience of buying car or if its your first time. Don’t go in this place they will take advantage on you. I dont have idea what trims was then they had me the toyota chr xle . Even the financer told me it was xle but when i tried to trade my car its only LE. They are all liars!!!!!!!!!! Misprensented product!!!! And they won’t let you change your car! Mid-grade XLE models add a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 18-inch alloy wheels, push-button start and heated power-folding side mirrors. look at this photo that i attached. its only LE!!!!!

I went to trade in my ford focus for a Mazda 5 (my dream car). First off the salesman I worked with, David Wurtz, was a huge help. He found the car and since I was married I've never bought a car on my own. Being a new single mom I needed someone to walk me through the whole process step by step and he did. He was very kind and patient (even with my 4 yr old girl), he answered all my questions, he took the time to explain every single detail to me. Ended up driving to this location instead of west Edmonton. But I checked in at the front and they had me wait around for about 20 minutes for the Rep I was speaking to over the phone. Only to find out that no one by that name actually worked there and I was at the wrong location. Not sure how that happens when I checked in with my name and the reps name at the front desk.

bought an SUV from this outlet. not a week after, vehicle had oil leaks as the oil plug is damaged, called it in and was told they wouldn't take care of it. I had to call them a couple of times before they took it in for repairs. SUV has leaked a lot of oil already and needed top up/oil change which they should have covered, but they still charged me. After a month, battery died on me. I replaced it myself as I don't want to deal with them anymore. What kind of vehicle inspection do they do? They have this inspection document saying everything is good with the vehicle before releasing it to the customer but it seems just a paper for them to be able to sell cars. Also, I was promised a full detailing and paint touch up after purchase, but didn't happen. I was told "We under promise and over deliver" but it seem to be "Over promise and under deliver." Still happy with my vehicle as I have spent a lot since to keep it in shape, but really disappointed dealing with this outlet. Think twice before you go here! They're just another car store who only cares for the sales and not customer satisfaction.

Not a good experience at all. Salesperson didnt explain anything on the contract. Just told us to sign at the bottom near the circle. Added 4700 in extra costs without telling us. A 10000 car ended up being a total of 23000 with interest. Worst dealership.

ORIGINAL 4 STAR REVIEW: Kassem (Jake) sold us our newest family vehicle. He had a good spirit and worked hard for our sale. His manager Billy came in to give us the gears but Jake made it easier to push for what we needed. Know what you want and don’t back down. They’re willing to play ball. EDIT to 3 STAR REVIEW July 23, 2021: Kassem was clearly pressured into working us into having my four star review bump up to a 5 star review. They originally requested that we review them on-site after the sale to ensure we finish the review. Billy or Kassem’s other managers were clearly not satisfied OR couldn’t handle an honest review. We have edited to a 3 star thanks to these people. As the review states Jake was not the problem. I’m not going to pretend that a car sales experience is all about the customer. I know Go Auto is trying to make a deal so your company can make the most off of the car you are selling (and in our case trading in). I thought within those parameters you were excellent. It never felt like Jake never left our side. The review was not for you, but for your site in general. Dealing with your manager was frustrating and to put it bluntly he acted like a snake oil salesman. The offer he gave you to offer for our SUV was well under market price in addition to the “add-ons” meant to give a “good deal” for the trade gave away his personal intention that clearly undermined your objective which was to satisfy everyone’s needs. Perhaps if your manager was more of a team player and customer service representative instead of a wholly selfish opportunist I could give GoAuto Yellowhead a 5 star review. Unfortunately because of Billy’s bull your Outlet lost one star. If you were the only person we dealt with Kassem I would have happily given 5 stars. You are a gem. TO BE CLEAR: We would shop here again, I hope that this review clarifies for Billy and the other leaders at Go Auto that they should support their staff and customers and this exchange could have been an overall positive experience for us. We would shop here again, I just hope things have changed the next time we walk through the door. With any luck Jake will be the MANAGER we speak to next time we come knocking.

Our salesman what great to deal with. After going through much of the process of test diving and then talking about price of the vehicle, the advertised price saying" no extra fees" was now all the sudden $1400 more than advertised. Then when asked about these extra charges, I was told that they are not fees or levy's so to say, but they were "products" with the customers best interest in mind. If I wanted these "products", I would have asked for them. Very misleading and should be disclosed in the advertising. After not being able to agree on the details of the purchase(not our salesman's fault at all) we left. Initially I had agreed to a soft inquiry into my credit, however I did NOT agree to a full inquiry into my credit as I did not want it to affect my credit score. I made sure to state this at the very beginning even before test driving the vehicle. SURPRISE to me the day after my visit I get a notification that my full credit report had been pulled, despite my explicit directions to not pull my report. They should have confirmed this with me before doing so. After this shady experience and now an affected credit score, I certainly will not bring my business here ever again. I greatly caution anyone considering buying anything from this dealer or at least know exactly what they are doing before agreeing to anything that the dealer will be doing with your personal information at all times. Shady dealings like this are why people don't trust car dealers. Well done Go Auto Outlet Yellowhead, this experience really has created a great experience in doing business with you. *Update as of a week after* Big shout out to the management team at this fine Go Auto establishment. If it weren't for your sub-par management and condescending demeanor to myself, I never would have gone to a real dealership to purchase the exact vehicle that they spoke very dismally of while I was privy enough to be in their presence at the dealership. I was contacted the day after I made my initial review by the GM of Sales, who wanted to clarify my reasoning for leaving the review I did. Not only did he question me on my comprehension of how my credit works, he had the audacity to call me out on my understanding of how credit works and the difference of credit reports. When I offered the source of my recently confirmed information from a small company called Trans Union, he was quite defensive and wanted to call the person I was dealing with to confirm these details for himself. I obliged and encouraged this GM of sales to contact this company to confirm said information. We parted ways and left it at "I look forward to hearing back from you". I can only assume he learned something new, because I never heard back. Much to my surprise when I dealt with an actual car dealership, with proper management and a finance department, I was able to purchase AND finance the exact vehicle at a great purchase price and at a rate of 15% less than I was quoted by this Go Auto team, with no additional "products" added either. Plus I was treated like a human, not a door swing number. I caution anyone who is thinking of purchasing any vehicle from this place, as no matter what situation you are in you deserve better than how they will treat you here. A little homework goes a long way. I feel deeply sorry for the salesman that I had who was great to deal with. If only he knew how quickly his managers threw him under the bus and at what cost. Great job team!

They do not seem to understand the rules! I went in with my Daughter and they immediately said there would be a charge of $699 for detailing, gas, paperwork, etc and another charge of $699 to etch the glass to track if the vehicle is stolen. They presented this as a required charge, which is not legal based on AMVIC regulations. The only extra over the advertised price they can charge is GST. I spoke to the manager and told him this was not legal...and he said "OK" without any concern at all. Then he came back and said he could drop the fees to $349 each...I told him again that they can NOT charge anything additional, no matter what the cost is. He again said "OK". I said it was not OK and he just went back to the advertised price. He also said they couldn't finance part of the cost...they had to finance all of it. Many, many lies. So beware...they charge an extra $1,400 of useless fees automatically (and illegally) to every customer who walks through the door! I have to go register my complaint with AMVIC now... Update: Talked to AMVIC - they acknowledged all the GoAuto dealerships are doing this and it is not okay. The dealerships are also insisting that you can't pay cash - you have to finance! So I e-mailed the President of GoAuto and the Senior Vice President responded within an hour. I talked to him and CONFIRMED that this is NOT their policy - they can NOT present extra charges as if they're mandatory or that you have to negotiate those terms and they can NOT force you to finance your vehicle! He was extremely good with us and apologized for our terrible experience - and arranged to drop the price on the vehicle we were looking at to what we had originally offered. He even had it moved to another dealership so we didn't have to deal with the fools at this one! I was very impressed on his follow-up and it has changed my opinion of GoAuto - I will try it again...but not this dealership - they still remain a one-star review. The GoAuto Management team gets a 5-star!!

Terrible place and scammers, made an appointment to come trade my vehicle for a van of almost equal value, when I arrive they take my sin number even tho I'm trading an not financing, after giving all my info he comes back to tell me they sold the vehicle I wanted an hour earlier, and tells me he has a van for double the price and that I would have to finance. Shady crooks knew I was coming to trade my vehicle an still sold the van I was interested. I doubt there was even a van there that I wanted and they only display on there website to attract people then when someone arrives they say they sold it already and that they have something else that's more expensive. One of the worst dealerships.

I recently bought a Toyota Truck from Go Auto Outlet, the truck was priced competitively, but the finance people pretty much tried to rob me, they initially proposed a monthly payment that was because of their high interest rate was $120 more per month than the final number that we settled on, on the same amount of months and down payment. Afterwards, they refused to fill up the tank, letting me drive off with an empty tank, and I had to go to the finance manager in order to get them to even spray the truck off. They bombarded me with upsell options, most of which from what I could tell were completely fabricated or not worth anywhere near the price they were looking to charge. The salesman I dealt with at no time went the extra mile, he didn’t offer me water or coffee, showed up late to our agreed meeting time and did not make me feel like a valued customer at all. He was also dressed like he was going to a BTS K-Pop concert, fan boy vibes all the way. All said and done, I bought the truck because I liked it, but the salesman was beyond incompetent, and I will not be recommending anyone to deal with him or anyone at that outlet in the future. I’m going to spare him by naming him by name, but I’m sure anyone who works there and sees my name should be able to put this together. 1 star. After originally posting this I got a call from one of the managers at Go Auto, instead of trying to rectify this situation he told me “Don’t ever come in here again”. This is the third car I’ve bought at Go Auto in 6 years, for a total value of almost $150,000. This is how they treat repeat customers. Zero stars.

Please read whole article. So first of all we came to Edmonton for the weekend to shop for a car for my daughter, we end up at Go Auto on Saturday afternoon and find the vehicle we want, advertised price is $7987. We sit down to negotiate and Nahome tells us the total purchase price is $8200 plus extra fees for a total of just over $10k , I ask “why the extra $1500” he replies it’s mandatory fees for warranty and anti theft, I said I’m not interested in those items and put in an offer for $8000 w/gst ,(which is $400 less than advertised) they refused my offer and said the best they can do is $9350($1000 above advertised price) we said no and left. Next day we go back and show them that they advertised for $7987 plus gst, I had to literally show them on their own website that it said so, and that I would be willing to buy it for advertised price plus gst, the lady took the info to one guy, he just shakes his head no, so she takes it to the sales manager John and tells us to sit and wait for him, after 15-20 min he comes and talks with us, we tell him “we want to buy the car at advertised price, simple as that“ he spins some bs about the price drop and that we are easy to please and no apologies whatsoever about what happened the day before, all he said to that was and I quote ”let’s just forget about yesterday” he accepts our offer and we proceed to finish the paperwork, Then they tell me it won’t be ready for pickup until the next day, after I specially told them I would like to pick it up right away, I agreed to wait as we aren’t going back home 7 hours north until Monday anyway. So headed in Monday at lunch and brought them the bank draft and finished all necessary paperwork and got out the door 2 hours later, John the Sales Manager did apologize for the miscommunication on the pricing issue and we are satisfied with the vehicle. I’m sure all Go Auto dealers aren’t like this as we also went to Go Honda and they were much better and did not try to add extra fees to the advertised price, we just preferred the car at Go Auto Yellowhead and that’s why we went that route.

The worst car buying experience I have ever had. My salesperson (Stuart) was nice enough, but lied to me about the vehicle not being in any accidents and didn't disclose the fact it was owned by a rental agency. Then the finance person tried to add more then $5000 in charges without my consent (for leather/paint protection) and I had to argue to get it removed. The car is a complete lemon - the transmission basically went on it only a couple of months after buying it, and the check engine light (turbo) was on within a week of taking it home. Will never buy from Go Auto again.

My wife and I recently bought a vehicle from this store. We were looking for a travel trailer and suv. The trailer salesman argued that we should buy something other than what we wanted the entire time we were there so we did not buy one. Afterwards we looked at SUV'S and we were assigned to "Alex" the salesman. He knew absolutely nothing about any of the cars we were asking about and lied to our faces about everything we asked about. He tried to sell us 2 different jeeps that were absolutely incapable of what we wanted in a vehicle. We told him specifically what type of vehicle we needed and what we needed it to do and he lied to our faces about what he what selling us. He made zero attempt to sell us the correct vehicle and selfishly sold us something that couldn't do what we wanted just so that he could make the commission. He made no effort to look into what we wanted and just tried to make his commission as fast as possible. Afterwards, the finance guy Manny messed up the bill of sale 3 times. The first one had the completely wrong vehicle on It and the second one he didn't sign and did not write up any of the promises they made on the original. All in all we ended up spending 7hours at their dealership originally and had to return 4 different times to fix all the errors they made because nobody had any clue what they were doing. My recommendation would be to avoid this store at all costs because I would trust a random person on kijiji more than the selfish greedy scumbags at this dealership. Also I found out after the fact that "alex" the salesman BULIED my wife into giving him a 5 star review. She said the he would not let her leave until she showed him a screenshot of her review. She did and then promptly changed it to a 1 star reveiw after leaving. I will be submitting a formal complaint with the store manager and better business bureau.

Watch for the extended warranty packages they try to sell you !!!!!! I was told If I did not claim anything under this extended warranty that I would get back all my money to put toward the rest of my payment of my vehicle . I found out after going through the papers awhile after that THIS IS FALSE AND THEY LIED TO ME TO GET ME TO PURCHASE WARRANTIES. I do not get all my money back , even if I don’t claim anything, I only receive hundred dollar services from a couple thousand dollar warranty package. Also , they did not inform me that I have to get my “rewards” 6 months before the warranty expires or I won’t receive any money back at all . The finance team here only tries to pressure you into buying extra packages and lies to you in order to make the sale ! A positive note, when I went back in to speak about this , Rome , a financial advisor, was very helpful and apologized on the other lady’s lack of care.

I recently purchased a used SUV from Go Auto. The SUV had a clean inspection report with no known issues. Alex assured me that their shop operates under a high quality and they take pride in their work. WELL.. not even 30 minutes after I drive my SUV off the lot, a check engine light came on. When asking Alex if they can fix that as I was not aware of the issue, he said yes for $160 to scan it. Insane. I did not get the warranty as the vehicle had a clean inspection. Lies. Very disheartening as I hoped to avoid these issues by going through a dealer. With covid, money is tight, and I'm really glad that I already get to pay for repairs on my new-to-me vehicle. Not! Avoid this place. Their advertised prices are misleading. We wanted to buy a truck for their asking price with straight-up cash, but they refused to sell it to us unless we purchased an additional $1500 in warranty and "security etching" that we didn't need or want, and the asking price magically goes up if you don't need their financing. Don't trust their AMVIC mechanical inspection either. It's the fox watching the hen house. Never again GoAuto!! UPDATE: Following up on Mike's response below, I LITERALLY wanted to pay your asking price IN CASH and you refused because I didn't want your add-ons. You are lying, Mike. BUYERS BEWARE.

I contacted this store over the weekend to schedule a test drive with one of their vehicles and then get more information. I got a response from one of the sales reps and got scheduled in for a test drive the next day. When I arrived for my appointment, the sales rep was friendly, but informed me that the vehicle was set up in their showroom and that in order to take it for a test drive I would have to let them hit my credit to go through the pre-approval process for financing. Since I was shopping around and not committed to purchasing this vehicle, I did not want them touching my credit, so I was unable to test drive it. All I could do was check out the vehicle as it sat in the showroom. When I did that, I found scratches and dents all over the body, even though it's a 2019, and their only response was that "it's a used car." (I currently drive a 2017 vehicle, which I bought used, and it has no scratches or dents...). They were unwilling to discuss the possibility of reducing the price even in light of all the cosmetic damage. They were also unwilling to look at my current vehicle to give me a trade-in value unless I was going to commit to purchasing their vehicle and go through that pre-approval process. Terrible policies for a car dealership... I left, and I won't ever be going back unless they change things.

So here is my story. Bought my car from here, the amvic stated it needed brakes and rotors. When I asked my salesman about it he insured me he would have the guys in the back check it and make sure it was done that sometimes it takes time to “update” pick up my car three days later. After 4 days all I hear is metal on metal. I inspect and brakes are toast….rotars need to be replaced to. I call dealership who Mo tells me I bought it is is where is. Now I have bought 6 vehicles from go auto( all 5 others where from Southtown who I highly recommend) so I called corporate and complained. Cue Billy….he calls from dealership and says let’s make this right, bring it in bro we will take care of it. So I do. 2 days later I get a call, brakes are expensive for this car it’s brembo brakes and it’s a bmw blah blah blah he will meet me halfway I pay $1000 they will pay $1000. I said sure as what other choice did I have. Picked it up today, invoice is 1259.87 total and I had to pay $1000 of it. They gouge you on your trade in, gouge you on the car you buy, sell you a sub par vehicle that needs immediate work. Then gouge you on that too! I will go to the shadiest dealership in Edmonton before I ever step foot in this dealership again. For those that don’t know 1.5mm is dangerous and should be changed immediately. So they left me and my family’s lives on the line with 1.6 mm they let the vehicle leave their lot at. So before you decide to buy from here just know, they will let subpar unsafe vehicles leave their lot while they laugh all the way to the bank.

After scouting for a vehicle at various auto locations and to no avail, I visited this outlet to see if it would be any different. To crown it, their used vehicles seem to be of extremely higher quality than other dealership locations I visited; looks to me like it's a policy of this outlet to sell only well scrutinized vehicles with no single fault and at the lowest price. Worst experience ever. If there was a zero star option, that is what it would be. My son bought a used 2015 Sentra that passed all their inspections with no issue. They dropped it off at my house. I went out a few hours later and it would not start. I boosted it and brought it back, they told me the battery was good and they were not replacing it. We had to go and buy a new battery. We didn't use it because of Covid for a few weeks and then went to visit my brother on the Southside for the first long trip. It died on the Henday. We got it towed back and they said there is nothing wrong with it. While on the phone the secretary said "you knew the car had issues when you bought it". No, we did not. We asked if we could get our money back or at least trade it in for what we paid and they said no. Took it on another trip, also left us stranded. They again refused to do anything. I usually buy from a dealership so I don't have these problems. This is the worst experience in 30 years of buying cars. I bought another car for my daughter from Orion auto which is right next to them, and the owner verbally told me not to worry and that he would take care of her. My daughters transmission went and he replaced it for free. That is service. My son who is a student is now stuck with this car with transmission problems. Again, worst service ever.

The dealership misrepresented the vehicle, (Salesperson Stuart) stated it had all season tires but it only had summer tires, despite them knowing that I was driving back to Saskatchewan in winter road conditions which was dangerous in and of itself. Further, the mechanical fitness assessment provided stated that everything complied but it actually didn’t. The engine light came on in the same day of purchase. I had this assessed at a shop in Saskatchewan and there were a total of 8 fault codes to do with the engine. In addition, the tail light was burnt out and none of the locks on the vehicle work. It cannot be locked or unlocked with the key or the button inside the vehicle. The dealership (The GM Becker to be specific) refused to compensate for the cost of the repairs despite knowing this.

Eddie salesperson and Billy sales manager were helpful in getting the deal done and getting me into new vehicle (5*️⃣). Vehicle was very well maintained, clean and I bought their 3 month/3000k warranty with the price. Agreed to a final price, signed a deal and waited for bank approval. All good till the day of pick up and signing off final bank appoval papers. Vehicle was cleaned and ready to go as promised on the day of pick up. Dealt with Mike in finance and was bit disappointed by unprofessionalism from his end as he had made up new bill of sale (differentent from one I had signed couple days earlier) adding extra $6500 in warranty charges. I almost signed off on it before noticing extra charges on my original bill of sale agreement. Mike did explain the warranty at the beginning before I had signed off on final papers, but should have not included it on the original bill of sale as the vehicle price went up by $6500 than what was originally agreed and signed upon. What Mike should have done is, have his customers original bill of sale for signing and ready, then offer customer extended warranty and if customer agrees on it then new bill of sale could be made to reflect changes. Needless to say, Mike had to go back to original bill of sale as agreed earlier. He did not seemed pleased with the fact that I did not end up taking extended warranty. As I mentioned, maybe if he did suggested approach I would have taken one of the extended warranties. Other than that I had positive experience.

Purchased a vehicle from this location only because we were set on the vehicle. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Wished it was available elsewhere as the customer service provided was atrocious at best. The salesman was ok I guess.. he did offer to deliver the vehicle for us but failed to show up as scheduled; had to wait 2 hours later and had to call him to ask for an update. We already knew dealership car washes/ detailing was bad to begin with but imagine being told the car was washed and detailed but to only have the tires shined. The interior was the same as before and we had to request the vehicle to be sent back 3 times before it was acceptable. The place is filled with loud, childish workers who seem to not care to provide a professional atmosphere when customers are in the building. Khrystal, the finance manager, is the only reason this review is getting any stars. She was honest and really helped us understand the financial part of things. She did her best to make the situation better and go smoothly as possible.

Due to COVID-19, we've purchase our car online and did our transaction through phone, email. What I did was asked the salesperson to send us video of the car and asked him to email me any paint chips, rock chips, etc. he said there's nothing, it's a 2015 Audi and he said it's a really a nice used car. I didn't see anything on the video and photos for a red flag. So, we arranged the delivery of the car to us as we're 3 hours away and prefer touchless transaction. First thing I noticed on the car aside from few paint chips, was a dent on the door. I phoned and asked him why he didn't tell me, he said he didn't notice it. He told me he can't do anything for me I have to speak to the Manager, I contacted the Manager and end up leaving a message, still no reply after two weeks, I have to reached out to other branch to help me and the lady was nice enough to contact them for me, even after she told them to call me, I still didn't get a call back, after another week, I told the lady no one has phoned me yet, so she emailed the Sales Manager and cc the General Manager. Finally, the Manager phoned me, but you can feel he's not happy and wondering what can he do for me as I purchased a used vehicle, he implied that what it has is just normal, which is true except the Sales person failed to disclose the dent. He said I can bring it to them and he can check with their shop to quote it and he can offer me a discount. I can sense on his voice, he's not sincere and didn't care and irritated with my complain. So, I told him to forget about it as he's not helpful. I was hoping they'll at least pay for the repair of the dent after all they didn't disclose it. This is the worst experience ever for me with a dealership and I will not recommend this Outlet as they only care about their commission and own interest and not the interest of their client.

THIS DEALERSHIP IS SHADY! I WOULD NEVER GO THROUGH THEM AGAIN. They withhold paperwork, and push AMVIC's on trucks that should not pass. I bought my first ever financed vehicle here and would never recommend buying here. Myself being a young girl defiantly got taken advantage of, I bought the truck on the 27th of September and they promised to have the back doors repainted for me as it was part of the deal. When I signed papers online the first problem, they put the vehicle price higher than what it was listed for, if I wouldn't have had photo proof of the price they would not have changed it. Next I was told 5 different dates the truck would be done and it was constantly pushed back, because "they wanted to make sure the paint was perfect", well when I finally got the truck almost 2 weeks later the paint did not match the rest of the truck. Within 24 hours of having the truck in my hands, the paint did not match, the tunnel cover that supposedly worked did NOT in fact work, and within not even 200kms of driving the truck lifters collapsed. So I called them and they sent a tech out to give me a loaner. I told them the truck should not be driven, but they drove it over 130kms back to the dealership with collapsed lifters. So i went to a different dealer to see if there was a way out of this truck, this is when I found out they actually were HIDING DOCUMENTS from me that would help me get money back from warranty and the repeatedly told me they couldn't do that until the other dealer helped me prove the pages on the 30 day cancellation was magically missing. THIS DEALERSHIP IS SHADY! They are now fixing the truck but for all my inconvenience they refuse to even give me a free oil change. I WOULD NOT TRUST A SINGLE PERSON WHO WORKS HERE OR THE VEHICLES THEY ARE SELLING.

Avoid at all costs. When my wife and I bought our car here the sales person, Stewart, assured us there was a block heater in the car. I asked about it repeatedly and was told that while they are now optional, the car we were buying does in fact have one. Now that it's cold out and we need it, turns out it doesn't have one. What is there response to this? They can order the part and I can pay for it and then pay to have it installed as well. While a block heater may not be the most serious issue, the fact that they would lie about a component of a vehicle and then try to make you pay for it is pretty scummy.

Where to even begin with my experience today at Go Auto Yellowhead Trail. I had viewed a few vehicles online and inquired more about them and ended up speaking with a gentleman named Simon. We arranged a time that I would be able to come down and test drive some vehicles and get a feel for what was available and what I liked. I was suppose to meet Simon but ended up being handed off to Mike instead. The second that I sat down he started asking me certain questions and I repeated about 2-3 times that I was just here to test drive the vehicles that Simon lined up for me. The entire conversation took a left turn when he stated that he would be pulling a "pre approval" and that it was "company policy" to pull this. I felt immediately pressured as this was not why I came in today and stood my ground and made it clear that no pre approval would be pulled and I am strictly here to look and test drive. He stated to me that he would go and grab some keys so we could take a look at the lot. He came back with the sales manager who was also named Mike and he asked me all the same questions over again and AGAIN stated that he would NOT be pulling a "pre approval" and repeated myself about another 5-6 times. FINALLY after having to push to just go see the vehicles I was taking around the lot and did not even see ALL the vehicles that were lined up for me. I saw one and ended up testing drive one! I was suppose to test drive 4 and look at all of them. After the interaction in the store I personally checked out but wanted to at least test drive something so It wouldn't be a COMPLETE waste of my time. I felt completely pressured to "give in" to there demand of pulling a pre approval. I felt that because I am a woman they figured they could try to take advantage of me and that I wouldn't say anything or I did not know what I was talking about. They did not listen to what I was asking for, they did not take care of me AT ALL. I felt like I was just another sale in the books and it was all to gain commission not a business & professional relationship. After my experience today I will not be returning to Go Auto. I will not recommend any friends or family to them either. I would highly recommend taking you business elsewhere.

Where to begin...I attended this dealership to view a vehicle they had advertised. I initially had a great experience with the sales associate and the assistant sales manager when coming to a deal for the vehicle. However, after coming to an agreement, I did not receive what was promised. The promises included buffing of scratches from the vehicle and a second key fob at cost. These items were on the original bill of sale and when I signed the second bill of sale with finance, they were no longer there. When I picked up my vehicle, I was told the vehicle was buffed (which it wasn't) and they told me that they were not interested in providing a second key fob at cost. At the time I picked up my vehicle, it also required an oil change, which the dealership never bothered to disclose or advise me of. My experience with the finance department was also not the greatest. When dealing with this dealership, please please please confirm the interest rate that finance has provided you with the bank directly. I was offered an extremely high interest rate initially and after confirming with the bank directly, I found out that I was approved by that bank at a much lower interest rate. I mentioned this to the finance associate and he became angry and upset that I knew this information. End result, I received the interest rate that I was approved for by the bank after a extremely long waiting game. Overall experience here could have been a lot better. Please ensure you look out for yourselves when doing business here. UPDATE: After submitting my original review, the sales manager Jon contacted me to see how he could make my experience better with their dealership. He stated he would get my vehicle buffed out fully and get me a quote on the key fob. He stated he would be in contact with me with details on when to bring in the vehicle. I never heard from Jon again.

I just bought a car from go auto outlet and before deal staff was so polite and behave very good. But after deal I drive car for some KM and I felt that their is problem in AC fan. It sound so noisy. I gave call to mike and talked with him regarding this. But he totally refuse for help just because I asked him for cancel extend warranty. while for cancelling warranty. First he told me that, we can’t do this or it would not be canceled. I talked direct to the Extend warranty company they said they will do with in 2 weeks. Again I talked with mike, he told me that they just ask us and it’s depend on our office we will approve that or not and “we will not”. Than I again talked to extend service warranty customer And she talked with mike on my phone. Then he agreed to cancel. After 2 days I call again to fix my car for AC fan . He told he can’t do it . Even you have 30 days problem policy . But some of your staff told me that this branch Don’t have this policy anymore but girl on reception clearly told me that “you bought car with in 30 days?”. Next day car stopped in a traffic some internal problem. I gave call to your company and ask that car have many problems. Again I headed that we can do anything. If you can not do anything after 4 days of buying car than I recommend you please don not sale used car specially to STUDENTS who already have lots of expenses to survive. I am in totally lose after buying this car. And i have my 2,3 friends who looking for a car but I will recommend them don’t go to go outlet.

ZERO STARS. Go to a real dealer. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE HERE WITHOUT BRINGING A REGISTERED MECHANIC WITH YOU!!! I purchased a truck 6 weeks ago and it had a very noticeable misfire in the engine. Returned the truck and they had it for a full 3 weeks. When I got it back they told me I must have "magic fingers" because their mechanic did not feel the problem. And because it was 6 weeks ago, it was over their 30 day exchange guarantee date and they would only treat the truck as a trade in. Despite the fact, I was not looking for a different vehicle. I just wanted the truck I purchased to be fixed. The truck went from their location to my driveway only, I was left without options and my initial 10 000 dollar deposit was gone out the window as well as $1500 "loss of equity" on a trade in. Ruthless business practices and despite pleading with the manager I was not looking for a new vehicle, I just wanted them to honor the exchange, he would not. I offered to bring the vehicle to a GMC Dealer to identify the issue, and was told they wouldn't "trust that" as all mechanics will find different problem. Instead my father was yelled at by the service mechanic and the manager, because clearly we have nothing else to do then to deal with made up issues with a truck. So in 6 weeks we are out $11 500 trying to resolve an issue with a GMC that misfired since the day we brought it home.

Not happy with my experience Stuart was my salesman, he did alright, 5 stars for stuart but 1 star for the process of getting a vehicle here at Go Auto Yellowhead. Took 3 hours after the test drive to get the paperwork to go, they told me it was because of the bank but they already got a preapproval. Maybe go with a different bank that doesn't offer 18.9% interest which they don't tell you until after the deal has been signed. I asked for no go auto decals or advertisement on the truck, I got it and told stuarts assistant because he wasn't there that I wanted the decals removed and he went in the back and did not come out. I just got mad after waiting 20 minutes so I went home and removed it myself. I also told his assistant that the vehicle was not recently detailed. Still did not get helped. I wouldn't recommend this go auto to anyone. Pure shame, they got the 34,000 from me for a truck and that was it. Customer service was garbage after I signed. Do yourself a favor and don't go here. They are also an RV dealer so I'd recommend not shopping for anything they have! Oh and not to mention if you give a 5 star review which they ask you to do at the very end of the service before seeing the vehicle the salesman gets a bonus! No thank you!

I stopped in to look at a 2015 F-150 platinum and Riley helped me out with the walk around and test drive. The truck was par with the mechanical inspection and was detailed very nicely. Pricing was fair for the condition of the unit, so we decided to go ahead with the sale. The guys hooked me up with financing, even late on a Saturday afternoon and i was able to drive the truck home that day. Definitely recommend dealing with Riley, he was awesome through the whole process and he'll go above and beyond to hook you up with what you need.

At Go Auto Yellowhead we got good service and never felt pressure to buy. Riley, our sales rep answered my email request within an hour and we were viewing the van we eventually bought at a convenient time for us. Everything was sanitized and ready for the test drive. We wanted an independent presale inspection and when it turned up an issue , we were able to work with Billy( sales manager) to negotiate it getting dealt with to our satisfaction before finishing the purchase. Alyssa in finance was courteous and pushed along the bank financing. Finally , when we had purchased and required a fax of the Bill of sale , Riley was courteous and he and Alyssa provided it within a half hour in order for me to finalize registration. Car buying is always a little stressful but the team at Go AutoYellowhead made it a lot easier.

3 tires on the replacement wear lines but 1 was good. When buying the vehicle I was told and showed papers that the car had passed inspection. I did my little quick check and ended up only looking at one tire and that happened to be the one that had really good tread depth. Week later after having owned it I noticed the rest were shot. I can't blame the salesman or finance about this since they treated me well. Seems to me like the mechanic didn't do a proper inspection. Buyers beware. Check EVERYTHING you can and ignore them saying it's passed inspection. Cause this wouldn't pass any safety inspection anywhere else.

Worst go auto dealership. I went there to see a used car, the salesperson was very rude. They checked my credit before showing me the car and I was asked to put a minimum of 15k down and finance the rest of the amount. I said that’s ok if I like the car, I can pay it. Then they took me to the car and said I can just see it but can’t do a test drive. Even they have my License and credit in their hand. He said “NO” bluntly. Never recommend them to anyone.

My wife and I came in to purchase a Dodge Grand Caravan. Alessandro Chimino was our sales person, he was great, even washed the vehicle for us before we arrived so we could check the body. We decided to look at a different van that they had because it was all wheels drive, again he offered to wash it for us so we can make an informed decision. The sales manager gave us a great deal. They let us take a loaner vehicle home that day since we traded in our current car, and the van needed a new windshield. We bought a used Toyota here recently , we are happy with the vehicle but our experience was not good. Sleazy and dis-honest sales tactics were used . When I brought this up with them they told me that the scrap of paper with scribble on that we had originally signed was legally binding, it seemed like they were all in on it. I never got to see this scrap of paper again. I don’t recommend this dealership and will certainly never use them again.

Tough to say great things about a used car sales center. Only very select, smart, experience salesmen and woman know how to listen , be sincere and helpful without spending the money from the sale first. Maybe an art most don't know. Or they like most others just dont care. This was an alright stop with some selection but like most car lots I never believe 99% of what I'm told and only 50% of what I see. Now a open , honest, full disclosure car lot with scruples would be a 5 star rating!!! Perhaps they've learned that's not profitable.... Based on the responce I received from management I'll only add my feelings, thoughts and opinions are NOT in any way pre conceived. They are entirely based on my experience coupled with my visit to your sales center more then once. If you read any of my other reviews you'll see I'm perhaps a little tough, I have high standards but I'm extremely honest and fair. A pre conceived view would have given you a O or a 1... You received a 3 better then several others but your missing the point and many factors as to why you received a 3 and not a 5...

I was waiting a bit to do a review to see what kind of after sales service I would receive. My sales person was Ameer and he was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him. He gets 4 stars. I dealt with Jason in finance and he was totally unprofessional and condescending. He absolutely refused to complete the transaction as it had been discussed with Ameer and John until John TOLD him to do it. It was then like dealing with a 4 year old who had been told to apologize and didn't want to. He gets 0 stars, if that were possible. The final issue was when a rather large flaw that I felt had been concealed was brought to the GMs attention. We spoke on the phone and he asked me to email pictures which he would then compare with the sales photos. I sent pictures then followed up with an email 10 days later when I hadn't heard back. Almost one month later and I haven't heard a single word. John gets 1 star only because he had dealt with Jason earlier... Very disappointing. UPDATE: Thanks John for your very delayed response - almost 3 weeks after we LAST communicated. Yes, I have overlooked the paint chips - as in I'm not worried about the tiny paint chips. What I will not overlook is that the entire front of the hood is bubbling under the paint. When I came to see the vehicle, the hood was opened so that it was not visible. The hood was put down AFTER I had already gotten in for the test drive. And, BTW, you offered me a *discount* on a paint pen, not your cost. As mentioned, the tiny paint chips aren't a problem.

We had put a deposit down on a vehicle as we were driving 3 hours to go look at it with the anticipation of purchasing it. We had advised them we would come prepared with a bank draft. We drive 3 hours , three days later and this was all confirmed in our precious discussions and we get there and we’re told they sold the vehicle the day before to someone who wanted to do financing. I would not recommend them as their customer service is not customer minded. They did not assist us and passed us off to another dealer if we wanted to keep looking. Very disappointed

In April of 2020 I went to go auto to purchase a vehicle. I was wanting to downsize as I was laid off work and wanted a smaller vehicle but still needed something reliable as I am a single mom of two. The purchase went well and everyone there was friendly. Once I hit the highway headed home I noticed that the interior light kept flickering on. Turns out the back latch on the trunk didn’t close properly so every time I hit a bump the back door would bounce open and the interior lights would come on. Got that fixed when I got back, not a huge deal. 1 month later vehicle started making a weird noise when I would break. Took it in. All break pads were so worn they all had to be replaced so I did that. Fast forward 5 months the vehicle breaks down . Towed it to the mechanic where I was given a long list of issues that needed to be fixed. The mechanic said there is no way this vehicle was in good working shape when I bought it just 7 months ago ( only put 18.000kms on it) I had two different mechanics look at the vehicle and one offered me 300$ for parts and the other offered me 500$ . This is the first time I have ever bought through a dealership and I am beyond unimpressed. I have had better luck buying vehicles myself. I will never give go auto another penny of mine. Single mom of two looking at minimum 4K in repairs... not to mention what I have already had to put into the vehicle since buying it !!!! This vehicle has been a Money pit since I drove it off the lot.
